Help us make Star Wars themed gift wrap banners for prompt fill posts! (Check out this post for more information on how you can help us make adorable banners for everyone to use for their prompt fill posts [using banners is optional…it just makes the reblogs look colorful!])

Help us promote for the event! The more the merrier…and we want all the creative Star Wars fans we can get!

Welcome once again to the annual Writeblr Summerfest! I am so excited to see you here—whether it’s again or for the first time!

This event lasts the entire month of August and is meant to build community between those in the writeblr community. You’ll find four posts each day, ranging from games to writing prompts, and you’ll even get access to several August-only special events: the Summerfest store, Minkie commissions, and two writing contests!

These events will be staggered throughout the month. There’s no reason to feel stressed. You can take part in all of these events, several, or none. The one thing I ask is that you focus on having fun, uplifting other writeblrs,

The Summerfest takes a solid year to put together. As soon as it ends, I start planning and putting together the next event. Because it takes so much effort, I’m always looking for feedback on what you think could make it better, bigger, and even more fun. We do not review, recommend or endorse any of the fics/authors/blogs we reblog here. This blog's sole purpose is reblogging other fics and there is no way for us to read each and every one of the fics we put here.

We want to keep this blog open to everyone and therefore fics that include noncon, gore, torture, horror and generally considered heavy and dark will not be reblogged here. A good way to handle this would be making a blog focused on these works and anyone is free to take the initiative for it.
