        SHE  HADN'T  MEANT  TO  SEEM  LIKE  SHE  WAS  MAKING  FUN  ,  evident  in  the  way  her  big  blue  eyes  seemed  to  somehow  get  even  bigger  when  those  shoulders  sank.   For  someone  who  loved  spin  his  lies  ,  Loki  was  incredibly  expressive  in  his  eyes  when  he  wanted  to  be.   Lips  didn't  turn  into  a  frown  though  ,  as  her  explanation  seemed  enough  to  lift  his  spirits  again.

        There  were  a  lot  of  preconceived  rumors  about  Loki  by  the  time  the  two  of  them  met  ,  but  Becca  honestly  thought  they  were  all  incorrect.   Mainly  because  from  the  beginning  ,  it  had  been  CLEAR  to  her  that  they  were  all  missing  parts  of  the  whole  picture  ,  &  only  able  to  come  up  with  a  partial  truth  ,  &  run  with  that.

        What  she  DID  know  Loki  was  ,  was  persistent  in  his  goals  when  he  wanted  to  be.   That  was  ever  the  case  in  this  scenario.   While  he  didn't  dismiss  her  worry  about  Bucky  ,  it  almost  seemed  like  he  had  already  thought  about  that  little  detail.

        Becca's  brow  arched  at  him  ,  smirking  a  little  more  before  tilting  her  head  in  a  curious  manner  wondering  what  TRICK  he  might  be  hiding  up  his  sleeve.   Not  all  tricks  were  back  after  all.   ❝  You  always  do  seem  to  have  a  plan  before  there  even  seems  to  need  t'be  one.  ❞   She  complimented  ,  before  crossing  her  arms  over  the  front  of  her.   ❝  I'm  sure  he  would  want  me  t'have  a  break.   I'm  also  sure  he  could  come  up  with  TWENTY  things  I  could  do  here.  ❞   It  was  clear  in  her  features  that  she  WANTED  to  go  on  this  trip.   But  she  had  never  really  been  good  at  any  sort  of  travel.

Admittedly, when Becca had started LAUGHING at his suggestion, Loki hadn't been able to resist a small chuckle of his own simply by virtue of the fact that his lover's laughter was MELODIC & INFECTIOUS. Much in the same way, however, the trickster's shoulders fell somewhat as he realized that she'd assumed that he was speaking in jest. There was a weariness in his eyes and an arch in his brow that as she begun to explain the reasoning behind her INCREDULITY. The ghost of a smile still tugged at his lips even then, as the gears begun to turn in his mind and he put together what was likely the actual reasoning behind her apprehension.

Loki couldn't BLAME HER for not wanting to upset her brother. While he'd made a SPORT OF IT with his own brother, their relationship dynamic was different. While he understood her motivation, he did have one more pitch as an attempt to persuade her to allow herself a real break. So as he looked down at Becca, his smile became a GRIN.

"Rest assured, love, I'm not going to leave your dear older brother not knowing where you are. I'm fairly certain if I did that, he would APPEAR BEFORE ME by his sheer force of will to let me know what he thought about it. Likely with the METAL ARM."

He paused briefly and continued in a softer tone. "Besides, I should think that Bucky would WANT you to be able to relax."
