The post WaT herald therapy sessions are going to be so wild from Kaladin's POV.

Like first we have Chana, who is going to end up sobbing admitting that she selfishly tried to kill her daughter and set her up as replacement for herself. Then Kaladin is going to learn that said daughter is Shallan. HIS Shallan.

Then he's gonna be helping out Battar and she's gonna mention spiking some guy for Odium and it's gonna turn out to be Moash, who Kaladin last saw when he murdered Teft.

Then while talking to Nale they are gonna circle back to the Davar family and talk about Helaran being sent to kill Amaram to THEN have Kalak jump in and mention that he told Amaram to enslave the soldier who killed Helaran so Amaram could take the shards. Said soldier being KALADIN HIMSELF.

Like, our boy is going to discover that a bunch of his life's messes are due to the meddling of his new immortal coworkers.

Wind and Truth? Done. I am messed up and I have so many feelings I cannot even begin to describe them. So instead I just say:

WHAT IN THE SWEET HELLS I WAS READING? DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA HOW MUCH THIS HURTS?

I literaly could go on and on about Dalinar, Moash, Szeth, Honor, Odium Todium Retribution, the effectiveness of Dr. Stormblessed's therapy, Wit being Wit, Thaylen city, Rlain and Renarin, or Adolin King of the Deadeyes, but it would take me so much time to write all that down.

So let's shorten it for an acceptable review.

Story: Well written as always, perfect pacing, shocking twists. I wanted a bit more Lift, or perhaps a Jasnah backstory, or at least a one chapter with Rysn and Akilu, but I am not complaining. 10/10

Characters: I feel bad for Nale, tbh. It was good to catch a glimpse of the lifes of the Heralds, but I feel there have to be more. Lift's character development got cut short, which is a tad bothersome. I expected Moash/Vyre to actually do something instead of being a short lived villain, who only appeared twice, then literaly nothing. Even the Pursuer had more time than him, but I hope that Vyre returns in Stormlight 6. Overall 8/10

Twists: Uhm, this book was more twisty than a one-armed Herdazian stuck in a Highstorm. My favorite however was when Taravangian revealed that he is a hypocrite. All that talk about making sacrifices, yet he refused to end his own family, fabricating a lie instead, while gloating about the Greater Good to Dalinar. Also I wonder how Retribution plans to use the Fake-Dalinar. Overall 20/10

I loved this book, and sadly I must wait a LOOOOOOONG time for the next Stormlight book.
