anyway i think a lot about this. one of the options you can answer when they ask who you think they are. i think about this and i think about the fact that they asked that question in the first place and that they deny every single answer EXCEPT the correct one (and ghost. sort of)

i think about how the only thing they are, the only thing the universe has allowed them to be anymore is 'helpful loop'. i think about this answer and the way it implies that siffrin only sees them as 'helpful loop', only cares about them being 'helpful loop', doesnt care enough to look deeper because hey, theyre helping him, isnt that what matters? theyre helpful loop. nothing more. thats the only thing siffrin wants them to be. thats the only thing siffrin wants to see
