Visual Thinking
Have to adapt to Predominantly verbal communication culture in society
verbal processing communication culture requires effort
Convert verbal language into imagery to verbal understand communications
May struggle with long sequences of verbal information
May find it more difficult +o organise visual thoughts when under pressue
Need processing time to conceptualize visually what is being said verbally, then actively creating a verbal response
—————
Visual thinking has a component-are things that others miss
minds that are like oceans of images
Make rapid fire associations
Numbers and Algebra can be abstract
Word based thinking can be a second language to
Details jump forward - notice things that seem off kilter immediately on entering a space
can be late talkers
Deconstructing to learn
See Images In their eyes mind
Struggle with traditional teaching methods
Problem solvers
Photorealistic images-Cinematic-Short Films
Often doesn't require directions when traveling
May thrive in practical based activities
Look at the world from another persons point of view
society not created for Visual thinkers

visual thinking / 16 types question for all
close your eyes, picture a very slowly spinning world map model. (let's say one spin takes 10 second.)
now tell me your type and how successful you were doing this? were you able to keep the "image" alive throughout? did it disappear and reappear because you lost focus? how high the image definition was?
as an entp, i can't even keep it alive more than a second, so things were very choppy and also very low definition for me.
when i really focus, and think no words, it makes things worse. when i keep telling myself (silently, in my head) "world map, world map, starts with the continent of america, and now the ocean, and now england shows up, and now europe, etc... those words give me snapshot pictures that appear and quickly disappear, so using this trick only i can simulate visual thinking"
i'm %100 verbal thinker.

THERES PEOPLE WHO ONLY THINK IN PICTURES AND PEOPLE WHO ONLY THINK IN WORDS ???? THATS LIKE TRYING TO WALK WITH ONLY ONE LEG.
Okay, okay so I did some Googling very thorough research, and thinking in pictures is called visual thinking (yeah, no shit.) and if you hear your thoughts, or if there’s like a voice in your head that’s an inner monologue.
Theres no clear data about how many people ONLY have one of these, just which one they prefer ( it’s pretty even, 50-50). But I have both ??? And I can’t find a straight answer as to if not a lot of people have both ??
im very confused rn brb gonna go dig myself a Wikipedia rabbit hole

Im planning on making grow your own strawberry kits of my visual thinking final! Im so excited! My chosen path of advocacy has been about better food systems. I think teaching communities how to grow their own foods is a keystone to food advocacy :)

Hi!

Abstraction of what looks to be a face starting to form as the pain layers fall away.... Interesting :) I like the different layers of colors stacked on. Adds for an interesting photograph.

mysterious ni, chaotic ne.
ni alludes. si specifies. this is because all that specifying makes things too obvious and ni doesn’t like that. ni likes things always a bit mysterious.
or maybe this is the side effect of the endless search for the greater meaning.
the process of digging deeper and further comes with ignoring verbally specifying things (describing in detail).
another reason why ni alludes could be because ni generally stems from visual thinking. people who are verbal thinkers think with words so their sentences have to make sense to themselves in their head so this process is automatically very compatible with descriptiveness.
but visual thinkers kind of forcefully translate images into words so that sometimes sounds more cryptic.
this is also true for ne. it always wants to express itself through some unexpected perspective or in a jumpy, back and left, forth and right path, picking all the little flowers along the way. direct bores ne. high ne users must entertain themselves by making zig-zags.
