The powerful Maya Queen Consort (681-742) Lady Xoc (bottom right; pronounced "Shoke") encounters a Vision Serpent.

Now thinking about it...V was low-key a menace throughout VoV and probably shouldn't have been walking around the streets alone...

- He was walking around the streets butt naked and mugged a stranger for their clothes (and ACCESSORIES).

- Instead of getting a JOB, he and Griffon thought it was a good idea to rob someone so they can reach Dante.

- That robbery resulted in V slaughtering 3 other robbers (must I add, BRUTALLY) in front of a woman.

- Pissed Dante off by mentioning Vergil.

- Told a child he wouldn't care if the demons attacked the child (in context, he did tell the kid to run away cause it wasn't safe, but the kid wanted to protect his injured mom).

- Got hungry and decided to eat RAW demon meat (it wasn't delicious).

- Moments later, he toast more raw demon meat to see if it makes a difference (it did NOT).

- Let's not forget the obvious, he brought several devil hunters to a fight NONE of them were prepared for (and have the nerve to act surprise when everyone is DEFEATED).

Officer, this is a wanted man. 🧐

ok this may as well be more of an AU than a headcanon, BUT. With the whole snake theme Mr. Qi has going on and the last quest before you can enter the casino, hear me out:

Serpent Qi :]

The Galaxy Serpent! The essence of the dark expanses of the universe - a mischievous creature at heart and devourer of suns. Qi has his little fun entertainment messing around with Yoba's world and their little creations, luring them with the sweet promises of everything and beyond.

Yoba caught wind of Qi's antics and warned him not to test anyone's patience. Qi ignores this warning completely and eventually he was slained by an Infinity Sword. (undecided if it was Yoba's punishment or the slaying was done by a mortal on Earth)

As Qi was dying, Yoba decided to give him a second chance, on the note that he make amends and change his ways. Qi was reborn into a more human-like body while the remains of his serpent body was left to the elements, staring up to the now hot sun of Calico Desert.

Well, of course, Qi didn't change his ways completely, but at least it was not as disruptive as his time being a serpent (... in theory). He is still the eccentric, mysterious and all-powerful being he is and still faithfully held on to his serpent origins ;]

Shout out to @dad-cetemol for the idea of Mr. Qi having Galaxy Soul eyes and Galaxy Souls being fragments of his shattered soul upon his first death !

SNOWJANUS — PREDATOR x PREY; IT WAS ALWAYS GOING TO END THIS WAY.

[1] Sejanus pulled up short. “You never miss a beat, do you? I remember that from school. Watching you watch other people. Pretending you weren’t. And choosing the moments you weighed in so carefully.”

[2] “I don’t have time for explanations. Right now the Plinth brat’s loose in the arena with a pack of wolves. If they see him, they’ll kill him on the spot.”

[3] Sejanus had arrived on the school playground ten years ago, a shy, sensitive boy cautiously surveying the other children with a pair of soulful brown eyes much too large for his strained face.

[4] [Coriolanus] thought of people putting a price on her. With her long, pointed nose and skinny body, Tigris was no great beauty, but she had a sweetness, a vulnerability that invited abuse.

[5] “You could send in some Peacekeepers,” Coriolanus said. “And have [Sejanus] bolt like a rabbit?” she scoffed. “Imagine that for a moment, the Peacekeepers trying to chase him down in the dark. No, we’ll have to lure him out, as uneventfully as possible, so we’ll need people he cares about. He can’t stand his father, no siblings, no other friends. That leaves you and his mother.”

[6] Maude Ivory bent over his ear and whispered, “Don’t let him around Sejanus. He’s sweet, and Billy Taupe feeds on sweet.”

[7] He padded across the dirt, channeling the circus wildcats he had seen here as a boy. Fearless, and powerful, and silent. [Coriolanus] knew he must not spook Sejanus, but he needed to get close enough to converse.

[8] As they passed him, Coriolanus locked eyes with Sejanus, and all he could see was the eight-year-old boy on the playground, the bag of gumdrops clenched in his fist. Only this boy was much, much more frightened. Sejanus’s lips formed his name, Coryo, and his face contorted in pain. But whether it was a plea for help or an accusation of his betrayal he couldn’t tell.

[9] Coriolanus buried his face in his hands. He had killed Sejanus as surely as if he’d bludgeoned him to death like Bobbin or gunned him down like Mayfair. He’d killed the person who considered him his brother. But even as the vileness of the act threatened to drown him, a tiny voice kept asking, What choice did you have? What choice? No choice.

[10] Poor Sejanus. Poor sensitive, foolish, dead Sejanus.

I'll get through them slowly but surely. Admittedly I did take a break to draw this guy because I was so pleased to get him, but I'll get right back on the horse tomorrow lol. " Oh..." the presence snaps the young woman out of deep labyrinths of her thoughts. Her gaze turns towards his voice, but the gaze of the green eyes seems almost.. empty. Moving as if searching a spot to focus.

His conclusion would be correct: Rya had always been there, hosting the champions and visitors of the manor - almost as if afraid of missing out of interaction.

Now, she had withdrawn from others to far quieter corner, accompanied by her own silence. How tired she must seem right now, and still trying to wear her best smile as if to say: 'don't worry about me'.

But that smile is far smaller, than her genuine one.

To confirm his words, she sighs with a nod. No, she isn't feeling well even if it was only apparent in her current demeanor. Yet, it wasn't anything strange or extraordinary. To Rya.

" You have sharp eyes." She comments with another small smile, shaking her head slightly. " I am not feeling too well... Forgive me for concerning you. This happens from time to time... ever since I was born I have these passing moments I feel the World gets blurry... But I assure you. It lasts a mere week and then, I will be just fine. "
