Upon my umpteenth watch, I noticed another thing

We all know Stolas likes his romance books (girl, same), but throughout the first four minutes, he’s not holding it like it’s just another book. He’s holding it like he’s trying to protect it.

Blitz, in the middle of their fight, knocks it to the ground. He’s trying to get the book out of the way while he climbs on the table, sure, but he’s almost making a point, maybe even a subconscious one: you want me more than you want romance.

Stolas just picks the book back up but he clutches it close to his chest for the remainder of their fight.

It doesn’t look expensive. It’s not a first edition. It’s not signed by the author. It’s easily replaced. It’s a hardcover, so it’s not like Blitz damaged it by knocking it off the table. It looks like something I could pick up at Barnes & Noble for $29.99 (and unlike Stolas, if someone was knocking my book around, I’d start giving them head injuries with it. Has Stella ever messed with his books? Has she ever ripped them up or threatened to destroy them or throw them out? Stolas’ two hobbies are reading and gardening. His plants can fight back (good for them) but his books can’t.

Every time I speak up against trans/gender ideology, I'm terrified of being harassed and doxed like many other women have been. I'm terrified of being stalked and cyber bullied like countless other women have been for sharing our opinions on our own reality and sex. This is not normal. You know those white people that say that they can’t have white privilege because they’re struggling to pay the rent? Maybe Stolas has a mindset something similar to that.

When you think royalty, you think strength and power. Stolas has neither. In terms of raw physical strength, Stolas is weaker among the Goetia. With his looks, he’s lanky and thin. “I’m so glad I don’t have to pretend to want to fuck his scrawny, twig ass.” (Stella I hate you so much). We know as the audience that it takes an insurmountable amount of strength to survive, umm, let’s see, let me check the list: missing mother, neglectful father, extreme isolation as a child, being a closeted gay man, an arranged marriage, marital rape, domestic violence, and being a teen father.

But to Stolas, having to take SSRIs and having mental health issues is something he most likely is deeply ashamed of. Something he thinks of as a weakness.
