On the topic of Flight Rising (as a fellow FR enjoyer) I'm curious what flight(s) you've been in? If you dont want to share thats fair but it's interesting to hear peoples reasonings. I joined in the early days of sign up windows, didn't have internet and got put in Lightning by a friend who made the account for me. It has been years and years, don't even know that friend anymore and am still a die hard Spark.

I was actually a Light flight to begin with! Which is another thing that must be an Absolute Shocker, I'm sure. Girlboything who likes writing was in the flight well known for being full of weird writers.

My move was to the Wind flight because minty green is my favorite color. I do love the aesthetic of the wind, the kites, and the traveling, but I'm actually saving up gems to go to Earth next. I think I vibe the most with its lore, even though its scenery is a little uggo. I love how many cities are there, I love the idea of the crypts and the hidden treasures, preserving and documenting history.

I kinda wish you got a free flight change every like... 5 years. That's more than long enough to be fair I think. I've been playing since 2016 which is actually 8 years so... idk give me free flight change. let me out. im literally from the travel guys let me travel

gotta love it when some readers complain that the show hasn't done enough with the wonderboys yet or given them any character development. ah yes, i too am missing my favorite character developments arcs in the series, book 1-3 rand (i'm going to be carted around by the plot like a wet noodle -> i'm going to try to run away from the plot and then still be carted around by it like a wet noodle), book 1-3 perrin (i can talk to wolves and this upsets me -> i can still talk to wolves and this still upsets me), and book 1-3 mat (i'm a prop whose sole function is to hang around being a dipshit -> i'm beginning to show signs of being an actual character)

One thing I don't get in the Jack&Joker universe is that if the Joker was this legendary thief whose identity was never known where are the copycats??

Where are the instances of someone else using his symbol in robberies? Where is his symbol being used as a mark against capitalistic oppression? Like in the fashion show robbery they could not just had looked at Tatoo spraying the symbol and go like, 'yes he is working with the Joker'. It should have been more like, 'Does Tatoo really think he can pin this crime on the Joker when no one even knows his whereabouts?'

I want Joke to realize that the Joker has become something bigger then he could have even dreamed off

I also want people to think that Joke is being a knock-off of himself. That would be hilarious.

Will never forget the dream I had a couple weeks back where I was running around this wetlands(??) village, being dragged by the one and only TommyInnit, on the hunt for Tubbo. We burst into this pub asking where he was and everyone was saying "no clue where circles is" and I said "why do you keep saying circles?" and an old woman looked me dead in the eye and said "We call Tubbo Circles" and just, did not explain further.

Eventually we found him in this giant abandoned mansion that apparently the three of us were staying in??? He turned around and said that classic "hello?" and I full chest went "Hey Circles!" and then I woke up

end of 2024🎉 here's some wip shots of the main setting for the second book of TSD trilogy/another project. cant say much about those projects yet but i can show off more pics + some lore ripped from the codex under the cut.

i started working on this build around march/april, first sculpting the land with worldpainter, then building almost everything brick by brick with no real plan, all i knew was that i wanted to make a minoan inspired society. so i did. or tried to. it's nowhere near finished but i'm really proud of it and how it's stories have evolved so far. i've mostly been working on the lower city/agoras and temple/academy/palace as the main events of these stories transpire within these locations, but i plan to build and decorate the entire city and surrounding area in full.

this is a hyperspecific ask but i was wondering what inspiration you take when you draw raposa legs, if any. i love when people draw raposa with digitigrade legs but ive always had a hard time with them. thanks!

YAH idk how much help this will be bc i feel like the way i draw them is kinda jank but id love to talk about it :)

most of my inspo comes from dog legs actually, with a lil cat and ferret or even rabbit mixed in depending on how i want them to stand. raposa that stand a little taller like, aimsir and wilfre, are more on the dog and cat end of things, while raposa like benji are further out on the ferret and rabbit end. also, all the animals i reference have legs that face directly forward (ideally), but my raposa all have a pretty severe degree of hip dysplasia when viewed from the front lol. i just feel like it makes them visually distinct

also this is also gonna sound silly but if i find myself having trouble with a pose, I'll try to draw a human doing the same thing but with bent knees. digitigrade legs have the same bones as plantigrade ones, just at different sizes, so i kinda just tweak the proportions until i'm satisfied. that's why some of my raposa even look plantigrade but with big ol feet, like in benji's recent sketch page. he's bunny-style plantigrade though, standing on his full foot at rest but running on the tips of his toes like other digitigrade animals.

idk how much help this is but! thats my process and my references :) plus it helps having little guys around the house that you can harass for photos too lol
