King sighed, staring up at the roof of his room. It had been a day since you all had left Vaizel and since you had been stuck in that pit of darkness.

You haven't been the same since. You flinched at loud noises or at quick movements. Your hands tended to shake at times when you held things. Not only that, but that night you woke up from nightmares, tears streaming from your eyes and screams ringing out through the Boar Hat. King and the other Sins were incredibly worried.

King's brows furrowed at the memory of what happened before you guys took off to the next village.

Ban dodged and ran as the flurry of daggers came flying towards him. With a grunt, he jumped up and kicked a dagger towards King, which he stopped right before it hit him.

"Are you screwing around, King?" Ban demanded. "Take this seriously! Attack like you're trying to kill me!"

"'Kill you,' huh?" King said, tilting his head. "Why?"

Ban's eyes narrowed. "I guess I wanna smash the Holy Knights and take back the kingdom as soon as possible."

He leaped and appeared behind King. King yelped as Ban threw his head down, barely being able to avoid crashing into the ground.

"'Take back the kingdom'?" King repeated, regaining his balance in the air. "I'm surprised to hear that out of your mouth. I thought you didn't care about anyone but yourself."

Ban turned to King, raising an eyebrow. "Ain't it the same for you?"

"I suppose," King said, summoning Chastiefol as a pillow and laying on it. "But I have my own special objective of helping Diane."

"I have one of those too," Ban said. King looked at him, surprised.

"We'll save the kingdom, and I'll take the Trumpet of Cernunnos that's hidden underneath as my reward," Ban said, fists clenched.

"The Trumpet of Cernunnos?" King asked in disbelief. "That's a ritual device used to commune with the Goddesses! What could you possibly want with that?" King's eyes widened in realization. "Wait, are you—"

"Yes," Ban nodded. "I'm gonna have them bring back Elaine!"

"Ban," King gasped. He then raised an eyebrow at Ban. "What about Y/N?"

Ban's eyes widened. He looked away from King, eyes conflicted. "I..." He shook his head and looked up at King. "I need to bring her back, King! I can't leave her like this. Not after all that she's done for me!"

King sighed and looked at Ban. His eyes widened when he saw how much pain he was trying to hide. King's eyes softened. "You're worried about them, aren't you? The Captain and Y/N?" Ban's breath hitched in his throat.

"I thought so," King said, floating closer down to the ground. "Deep down, I'm a mess too. They way they looked... It was like—"

"One more word, I dare you," Ban suddenly yelled, grabbing King by the collar. "I'll knock all your teeth out!"

"B-But surely you can see it too," King said, startled.

"Like hell!" Ban yelled. "Y/N and the Captain are nothing like those monsters! I'll never believe it!" Ban's eyes were filled with rage and fear at the memory of the demon that flashed in his mind.

King's eyes widened when Ban let go of him and gently pushed him away. "Ban..."

"The Captain said to follow him," Ban said, glaring down at the ground. "He said it to a crappy man who lived a crappy life since the day he was born and was shunned wherever he went!

"And Y/N... She accepted me for who I was. She didn't care who I was raised by or what my past was! She saw me as an equal and fought by my side. She put up with me all these years and trusted me enough to tell me about her problems! She killed and risked her life just to get me out of that stupid prison that I got myself into!" King's eyes widened at what Ban had said about you.

Ban took a shaky breath, refusing to look at King. "The only three easy-going weirdos like that are Elaine, the Captain, and Y/N."

King shook his head, sighing.

"AH!" You bolted upwards, breathing heavily. Your stared at the bedsheets as you tried to catch your breath, chills still running up your spine. You rubbed your forehead and sighed.

"Still can't manage to fall asleep, huh?"

You turned to look at Ban, who was sitting up and looking at you.

"Yeah," you sighed, annoyed. "I can't even manage to take a nap without these nightmares."

"That might be a problem," Ban said. "We're already almost to the next village according to the Captain. You need as much rest as you can get."

"Kind of hard to do when I can barely stay unconscious for two minutes before waking up screaming," you laughed, rolling your eyes.

Ban chuckled for a moment, then looked at you with a serious expression. "Y/N. Are you okay? Like... are you really okay or are you just pretending to be okay?"

You blinked, surprised. Your eyes softened at the thought of Ban worrying about you. "Yeah, I'm better. I try to joke about it so that it's not as scary as it seems, you know?"

You looked down, furrowing your brows. "I can barely even remember what happened, but at the same time I remember everything."

Ban nodded. "Well, if you aren't feeling okay, just tell me. You don't have to lie or pretend to me. I trust you and you trust me, remember?"

You laughed, your heart fluttering at the fact that he remembered what you told him a few years back. "Yeah, I remember."

"Good," Ban said, a small smile on his face.

You smiled back and looked back at the ground. 'I really am lucky to have someone like you in my life.'

You turned to Ban, not meeting his eyes. "Ban, could you... hold me again?" Your cheeks flushed red at the memory of when he held you that night when you broke him out of Baste Prison.

You shook your head. "I-I mean, I feel like it would make me feel safer and maybe that could help me sleep—! You don't have to if you're uncomfortable—"

"Just get over here already," Ban said, laughing. You glared at him, blushing.

You laid down on your right side and wrapped your left arm around his chest. He put his left arm under your head and his right arm around your waist. Your legs were wrapped around each other's.

"Captain said we'll be arriving around noon," Ban said. "Until then, get some rest."

You laughed. "Yeah, I'll try." You breathed deeply, taking in Ban's warmth that contrasted the cold blankets.

"Goodnight, Y/N," Ban said, looking at you with his glinting red eyes.

You smiled, finally feeling safe in Ban's arms. "Goodnight, Ban."

The Story of the sad chapter 11

As soon as you returned to the others, Meliodas was wiggling his eyebrows at you.

“What took you two lovebirds so long?” he asked teasingly.

“Well I asked (Y/N) to make it official and then they kissed the life out of me” Ban smirked, wrapping his arm around you as you blushed madly.

How could be just blurt out private stuff like that? “Congratulations!” Elaine chimed in from the side, she looked genuinely happy and laughed. Diane gave you thumbs up and so did Elizabeth in her boobs.

“Nishishi, I knew (Y/N) would make the first step!” Meliodas noticed, nodding at you and patting your shoulder.

“Mel! Stop it, you´re embarrassing me!!” you squeaked and tried to conceal your blush, but the blond just laughed at it, so did Ban, who wasn´t helping at all.

“What did you think, Cap´n? They´re just too irresistible not to chase after~” Ban laid an arm around you and your face was close to exploding from the heat.

“Guys! This isn´t funny, it´s private!” you tried to put them into place, which semi worked.

“Boys will be boys, (Y/N). My next fight´s coming up, wish me luck!” Diane chimed in and went to the battlefield after leaving tiny Elizabeth in Meliodas´ hands.

She was up against yet another holy knight, you wondered how many of those pests were around today. And even though his magic sent all of her clothes flying, she stood her guard and won the fight.

“I´m sorry I ruined your outfit, Elizabeth” she frowned sadly and fondled with her fingers in shame.

“Oh no, don´t worry about it! It wasn´t your fault” Elizabeth smiled sweetly and reassured her.

“Wait, I´ll give you my jacket” you suggested as you saw the dirty looks she was getting.

“Really? Thanks, (Y/N)!” Diane smiled brightly and accepted the jacket you took off.

Now it was Meliodas´ second round, he was up against the old guy that beat King before.

Somehow he looked so familiar, but you just couldn´t figure out why.

As soon as he threw off his cape though, it was crystal clear.

He was from Danafor, you realized and had to gulp, goosebumps building all over your body.

You instinctively grabbed for Ban´s hand, which he gently squeezed. He could sense something was off, but decided not to say anything at how uncomfortable you looked.

The time in Danafor was so great that you forgot about the curse and when it hit, Meliodas couldn´t take it and destroyed the whole kingdom.

But Cain was always so kind to the two of you… so why was he accusing Meliodas?

Well, it turned out that he didn´t know any better and once he found out that Meliodas was indeed telling the truth and didn´t hurt anyone on purpose, he hugged him out of relief and yielded the fight.

That left Diane and Meliodas for the finals, with that the reason you were here would for sure be retrieved.

You let out a relieved sigh as you saw how the events turned out, making Ban smirk and pull you closer to him to kiss your neck.

Giggling, you turned around to him and gave him a real kiss on the lips. It took him by surprise a little, but he chuckled at your fierceness.

You would´ve continued your little kissing session if it weren´t for the girls next to you who absolutely wanted Meliodas to win and be with them right now.

Oh no.

You didn´t need more context than that to know that the punch that was thrown in the battlefield was Diane´s. She was pissed. This was either going to be super fun or the end of the arena.

Ban´s and your attention was all on the fight now, Diane was beating up the captain and ranting about how much of an idiot he was.

But suddenly they stopped in their tracks and a dark atmosphere could be felt, it made you feel beyond uncomfortable.

As you looked up to the sky and saw more holy knights approaching, especially those two, you and the others joined the battlefield.

Everyone saw it and Meliodas thought about a make shift plan to get the people out of town.

Well, playing big bad wolf certainly did work.

But not good enough, the attack came sooner than you bargained for.

You did your best to defend the civilians but there were too many of the enemy for you.

So Meliodas told you to split up, you only wished your reunion wouldn´t take 10 years this time.

Ban and you teamed up and got the civilians to safety when an evil aura appeared.

You pushed Ban out of the way before the attack could hit him, but there she was: the girl from the Baste dungeon.

Well, you knew you didn´t need to be jealous, but you were just like your sister when it came to feelings, so you couldn´t really get a hold of yourself.

Especially not with the way that bitch eyed your man.

If only you had your sword….

Until then your fists and magic had to suffice, you vigorously attacked her, punching her in the face, which only semi worked. You started doubting your powers, weren´t you supposed to be one of the strongest of your kind? Oh right, you could only unleash full power with your sword.

“Have we met before?” Ban asked and the confused look in his eyes let you know he told the truth.

That kind of relieved you, but still, she was out here trying to get something that didn´t belong to her.

Your rage made you attack her without thinking again, how dare she make him bleed?

But Jericho saw you coming a mile away and grabbed you by the throat, choking you and throwing you on the ground, which left you unconscious.

Something about her had changed, she wasn´t the annoying, embarrassed little brat from the prison anymore, no, she was devoid of all emotion.

If you didn´t know any better you´d say there was something demonic about her, after all if someone would know what a demonic aura was like, it would be you.

You woke up after some time to see that King was taking care of the two women, Hawk and Elizabeth joined up with you too. Meliodas and Ban were still unconscious. It was strange, somehow Ban´s wounds didn´t heal as they usually would, it made you worried sick.

Alongside Hawk, you carried the two to safety.

“Elizabeth? Did you just...grow?” you asked, not being sure if your eyes only played tricks on you.

Hawk saw it too though and you were very glad that Meliodas was still unconscious.

In the same instance another princess of Liones, Veronica came around the corner alongside another holy knight.

Great, now you were busted.

Veronica tried to take Elizabeth back with her to the castle, but you and Meliodas who finally woke up managed to hold her back for a while.

Meanwhile she sprouted all sorts of insults and nonsense about your little sad club, which made you quite mad.

But Elizabeth defended your group as best as she could.

It was too late when you noticed some peculiar jewel that the princess had on her, it was Goddess Amber and trapped Meliodas inside of it.

“How the fuck did you get your hands on that, princess?” you mumbled, thinking about how it could be possible to lose something like that. Well, it wasn´t your fault and you really thought your race would take better care of it.

You were too distracted in your own thoughts to notice that Elizabeth picked up Meliodas´ sword and demanded that Meliodas would be set free from the jewel, unfortunately Veronica didn´t know how to do it.

You were taken aback by the determination and bravery of Elizabeth, it made your heart ache and tears come to your eyes.

Subconsciously you moved beside Elizabeth in an effort to protect her, you couldn´t be too careful around those holy knights.

“I´ll take care of this~” Ban finally regained consciousness and took the princess hostage as the holy knight trapped Elizabeth.

All of this was starting to get on your nerves and the last straw was when Guila and Jericho returned, Jericho injuring Ban again.

“I´ve had it with you, you fucking brat...” you said lowly, gritting your teeth and casting ark around your fists as you started throwing punches at the holy knight.

It did make her bleed and you smirked at that, you couldn´t wait to do it again, but in a failed attempt of capturing Elizabeth, holy knight Griamore captured them in his magic shell.

Elizabeth took the opportunity to run away with Meliodas in the jewel and his sword.

You stayed back to tend to Ban.

“Why do you keep taking all those hits?! Is it that hard to dodge?! Just once?” you had your arms crossed and gave Ban a scolding.

He just smirked at you as he got up.

“Why should I dodge when I know you´re gonna be taking care of me~?” he chuckled, making you pout.

“You´re an idiot, stop making me worry all the time!” you wrapped your arms around him and rested your head on his chest.

He put his arm around you, smiling contently and caressing you.

“I know, I´ll try my best to be careful next time” he said, but suddenly he frowned.

This feeling… he felt it before, it was like the creature in the fairy king´s forest.

But how could it be that it was back here? Didn´t he kill it?

So first thing u should know, I am a hopeless Jericho fan, so most of this AU will be centered around her. Triple Reincarnation AU, Three people got hit with the whole Eli curse, Elizabeth, Griamore, and Jericho. Eli's story is the same, Griamore was a Giant who was very close to Drole and best friends with who Jericho used to be. Jericho was a Demon who helped Mel escape to the Fairy kings forest, and was being trained be him. Don't know if this is what u ment but its whut I got.

The story still pretty much goes as always with Mel and Eli, and Jericho and Griamor do reincarnate and meet Meliodas, but I think Griamor wouldn’t recover all his memories as much as Elizabeth or Jericho do since he’s not as close to Meliodas as them. Jericho would be a little sister or maybe even a daughter to Meliodas (whichever you want). In all of her reincarnations, she’s eager to learn how to fight, and searches for someone to teach her, which usually ends up being Meliodas, who is always in high ranking military positions among knights (probably, at least from what canon gave us). As far as power goes, Jericho is stronger than canon, but unable to use her full potential due to frustration from failure.

Griamor is still pretty much the same, with his “Wall” ability, but he also has control over the earth like giants do, but it’s weak since it’s more of a memory of the ability. He fully reawakens it when he gets his memories back.

But onto what you came for

I’m gonna start with Liones Meliodas comes to Liones with baby Eli like in canon, and while that’s happening, Jericho is around 2 years old. When she gets a little older, she looks for someone to teach her swordfighting because her brother won’t (bc he’s stubborn or something), and runs into Meliodas. At the time, she doesn’t even know who he is, she just sees the sword on his back and goes “You’re gonna teach me swordfighting and I won’t take no for an answer” and Meliodas just goes “sure, be at x place tomorrow.” and she ends up training under Meliodas alongside Gilthunder. She learns quickly, and is soon on the same level as Gilthunder, but has the same problem that Howzer was shown to have: she moves on too quickly and her basics, while good, are still a little sloppy. But with a teacher as patient as Meliodas, she’s eager to learn. She doesn’t go on any missions when Meliodas is still with the kingdom since she’s still a child, so during those, she trains with Gilthunder, and even gets close to the royal family through him, and Griamor. Her and Griamor meet through Gilthunder since Gil and Griamor are friends, and sometimes comes along with them when they ‘cause trouble’.

when Zaratras is killed and the sins are framed, Jericho secretely followed them and saw what they saw, so she knew they got framed from the very beginning. Now you could either make it so that Jericho still stays with the kingdom to get stronger, keeping her knowledge secret until the sins come back, or she could pretty much immediately set out to search for them, (though mainly Meliodas). Of course, she could ALSO somehow convince her brother and they start a revolution or something.

I’m gonna go with the “she sets out to find Meliodas”, if you want me to do another possibility though, you can send another ask. She might wait a year or two until she’s a little older to go.

Jericho asked Gilthunder to go as well, but he couldn’t since Vivian was watching him and Margaret, so he stays in the capital. Griamor had to stay with Veronica so he couldn’t come either. So Jericho packs her stuff and, despite heavy protests from her brother, sneaks away in the night, leaving only a note telling her brother to not go after her and that he shouldn’t worry. She sneaks past the night guards and goes along the city walls to a spot where the vines grow tall and she can climb over without being seen. On the other side, she breaks into a run, making sure to stay under trees so she wouldn’t be seen, and leaves Liones behind her.

She travels every single day, only going into towns to look for Meliodas and to buy what she needs or to stay the night. It takes her a while to find Meliodas, months, or maybe even years. When she stumbles into the Boar Hat, she was on the verge of giving up and so deep in thought, that she didn’t notice Meliodas greeting her.

Meliodas knew right away that it was Jericho. She was a little older now, and looked tired.

When he comes up to serve her, she finally notices, but before she can make a big scene, Meliodas shushes her and tells her to wait until closing.

When they close, Jericho is absolutely thrilled to have found him again. She wants to help the sins cleanse their names, and has to convince Meliodas, who is against it, but he has a hard time saying no to her.

This took a while, but I hope you like it anyway^^

Hello! You are not late at all, and sure! Sorry it took a while to write this down

Who is a night owl: none of them is particularly a night owl, but Veronica can stay awake longer. She also doesn’t really like to sleep in front of other people because it makes her feel vulnerable and a bit childish, but she doesn’t have this problem with her sisters or Griamore since she has known them for so long and trusts them 

Who is a morning person: Griamore usually wakes up earlier, he doesn’t mind, and besides he has work to do! Veronica wakes up pretty early as well because she wants to train as well, she wouldn’t mind sleeping a bit more but she is stubborn enough to ignore the fact 

Are they cuddlers: not in public usually, but when they are alone Veronica likes to sit next to Griamore and lean against him, and she also appreciates when he puts his arm around her shoulders (though she has never said it out loud)

Who is the big spoon: Veronica would like to be the big spoon but Griamore is huge so in the end, she is okay letting him hold her. Griamore loves that! He feels like he is keeping her safe

Who is the little spoon: Usually Veronica, though she tries sometimes to hold Graimore

What is their favourite sleeping position: they face each other and Veronica usually hugs him, while Griamore holds her gently, he doesn’t want to squeeze her 

Who steals all the blankets: Veronica, always, she does it accidentally and then denies it or claims that she really needs all of them. Griamore is absolutely not bothered by this, he finds her adorable all wrapped in the blankets

What they wear to bed: Veronica wears a nightgown, Griamore a pyjama or shorts 

Who likes seeing the other wearing their t-shirt: the problem is that Graimore would rip Veronica’s shirt and but his shirts are enormous and Veronica basically disappears inside them. But she can wear them if she fixed them well enough with pins and a belt 

Who falls asleep mid-conversation: both of them! Sometimes Griamore is just so tired that he falls asleep while she is talking, while Veronica is just so stubborn and refuses to go to sleep even though she is tired, so sometimes she t falls asleep suddenly. None of them is bothered by this usually, though Veronica sometimes scolds Graimore about it (she is not serious at all, she knows that he can get tired and finds it pretty cute)

Who wakes up in the middle of the night with nightmares: it happens to the both of them but not often, like basically all the characters of this manga they passed through some very stressful situations and have some regrets. Veronica doesn’t like to admit that she had a nightmare, she tries to hide it, but Griamore usually notices and just holds her tighter without saying anything. When Griamore has a nightmare though she asks him if he wants to talk about it and reassures him that everything is okay

Who accidentally punched the other in their sleep: Veronica, she punches Graimore a lot, but he rarely notices if she doesn’t hit his face. 

Who can’t keep their hands to themself: they are very controlled, but probably Veronica is the one who reaches for him the most. Griamore is just very respectful and doesn’t want to push her boundaries 

Who said “I love you” first: I think it was Graimore, at the end he simply couldn’t keep it for himself anymore. He was super shy about it but Veronica already knew that he had feelings for him. She appreciated his confession a lot anyway 

Who would have the other’s picture as their phone background: Graimore, definitively, he tries to hide it at first; when Veronica sees it she rolls her eyes but she smiles. 

Who leaves notes written in fog on the bathroom mirror: Veronica, usually she writers funny comments like about the fact that Graimore should be faster at taking his shower. Griamore secretly finds them lovely 

Who buys the other cheesy gifts: Griamore buys her cheesy gifts sometimes, he knows she appreciates them, but Veronica likes to buy him gifts too. She just takes a long time to choose them and always asks her sisters’ help 

Who initiated the first kiss: Veronica, Griamore wouldn’t have taken the first step and she was sick of waiting. She asked him to bend and then just kissed him, it took him by surprise!  

Who kisses the other awake in the morning: Graimore sometimes, he can’t help! He finds her lovely when she sleeps! 

Who starts tickle fights: Veronica, she jumps of him traying to tackle him and usually Griamore lets her do whatever she wants

Who asks who if they can join the other in the shower: Veronica is the one who does that the most, Griamore still feels a bit shy about it. 

Who surprises the other in the middle of the day at work with lunch: Veronica! Griamore was working with Gil and Howzer and she just showed up with something to eat and dragged him away. He likes having lucnh with her a lot, it’s fun, so he never complains when it happens 

Who was nervous and shy on the first date: they were both a bit nervous, but Griamore was probably more nervous ... but they have been friends for so long that they soon relaxed.  

Who kills/takes out the spiders: Veronica doesn’t like spiders so she lets Griamore take care of them, he doesn’t mind 

Who loudly proclaims their love when they’re drunk: Griamore, always when he gets drunk! He gets really loud and needs to express his love. Veronica is not very loud when she is drunk but she is more likely to tell him about how much she cares about him
