I’ve recently seen some interviews where a few of the now-former production team are insisting Marinler is strictly platonic. In one, the shippers are even acknowledged and it’s claimed the pairing has the potential to be canonized in an “alternate universe.”

While it’s certainly nice to at least be acknowledged, I still have to insist the narrative they’re trying to manufacture off-screen and after the fact is completely counter to what was conveyed in the show itself.

Long stares, fond looks, a heavy co-dependency, very, very frequent physical contact and a strong need for physical closeness, interest in each other’s dating lives, mutual admission of physical attraction, flirtatious dialogue and teasing banters, insight and knowledge into each other not matched with anyone else, etc.

It’s even been established they have a bond that transcends universes and timelines.

Little of the aforementioned apart can be read as “platonic.” All together just as we got in this show, not at all.

Not sorry, McMahan and crew; the show’s over. You can’t rewrite the entire relationship of two characters after the fact.

I’m gonna need climate activists to start being a bit more intentional with their messaging because spray painting Stonehenge isn’t doing shit for the environment.

Because it seems to me that the people who “don’t know” about climate change—the ones that they hope to “make aware” by pulling these stupid stunts—are steadfast in their beliefs and unreachable.

They have fully committed to drinking the Big Oil Kool Aid, you will not reach them!

I’d argue most everyone who has a modicum of intelligence are already WELL aware that climate change is happening, that it will continue to happen, and exactly who is responsible.

So, whenever I see yet another story of some “climate” activists throwing soup at a fucking Picasso, I get real fucking annoyed.

How much you wanna bet that if I dug deep enough I would find a link between Big Oil and the groups that pull these stunts?

We don’t need more awareness, we need fucking action!

But it’s easier to scream about a problem than to actually fix it….

What is this supposed to accomplished! That fang is an asshole and so he's alone in superstars! Is that it!?

Team hooligan was the reason I joined the sonic Fandom! I followed along to see them be funny and have fun but instead I'm just getting depressed with each issue!

This comic has TWO MORE ISSUES LEFT to turn it around!

I get fang is an asshole, I know he's a jerk! But why make a story centered around him, but make everyone hate him!

If I knew wishing him back in would seperate the hooligans, I wouldn't have taken it! I'd rather them be obscured characters but at least they were still together!

I just finished watching Love Me, Love My Voice and yes, it was cute and fluffy, cringe at times blah blah blah. This is not a review. I just want to vent about the fact the ML secretly bought a house for them without ever telling her!!!! He bought a whole house where they would spend their married life together and he NEVER asked for her opinion regarding the location, the number of rooms, the price, if it has a garden or not, the architecture. Nope, he was like, I got it, if you don't like it, your problem. And this is considered romantic? She didn't protest, she only said she felt bad she didn't pay anything for it. I was staring at the screen with my mouth open. And of course he arranged a secret wedding photoshoot for which he chose the dress for her and he let her know half an hour before they went to the location. I am sure their wedding would be on a casual Wednesday, where she thinks they are going out for food, but instead she is handed a wedding gown, a veil and has half an hour to get ready for the ceremony.
