“oh? blade? you’re home early..”

blade walks past you and falls onto the couch, breathing heavily. you guessed he had a hard day at work, so you sat next to him, hoping to give him some sort of affection. your lover isn’t one to drench you with sweet nothings, but you know he does love you. the red eyes that glisten every time blade gazed at you always meant i love you.

blade shifts his body on the couch, “this isn’t comfortable enough.”he complains, letting his hair fall down his face as he looms over. you then offer to give him a blanket, but he shakes his head no.

“then.. ah.. my love, what could i do to help?” you smile at him graciously. blade is truly the shy type. you never really expected him to do anything bold, or so you thought.

poor, poor you. he was feeling a bit brave today.

before you could ask him if he wanted coffee, he pulled you closer to his body, your head on his chest. he sighs, saying this was comfortable, that this was exactly what he had wanted. this was definitely a side to blade you’ve never seen before, but god, do you want to see it more. with every breath of his, you felt his chest rise up and down. he’s warm. it’s peaceful.

he snuggles you closer, “i would like to do this more often. i love you.”

you couldn’t help but blush at his response. he was so.. vague. but it made you smile from ear to ear. before you could say i love you back, he was fast asleep. blade’s head resting on yours while he put you in a tight hug that you were sure you couldn’t escape from.

as time passed, you could feel yourself falling asleep in his arms too. you stroked his loose hair strands, getting ready to shut your eyes, but a notification stops you.

kafka: “soo.. did bladie do it correctly?~”

huh? did she set this up? how disappointing.. you do truly cherish this moment though, so you asked her what was going on.

kafka: “me? set this up? oh no, no! i just gave bladie a warning~ i told him you might leave if he didn’t try making a move you know? he was so stressed today.. thinking about a way on how to truly make you feel loved. he doesn’t want you to leave him!”

smiling, you text her: that’s so cute! while you were busy on your phone with kafka, blade slowly arose from his short nap. his grip on you tightened and you let out a surprised yelp. still fuzzy-minded from his nap, he whispers,

“kafka.. she didn’t tell you anything? did she?”

Day 5: Rabbit, Reclaim

AGJGDFJF FINALLY IT'S DAY 5 SO I CAN POST THIS

For some reason everytime i draw him he looks so young because i'm accidentally overcorrecting since i'm used to drawing older characters. So unfortunately he looks way younger than i meant him to lol, whoops.

But wait there's more- AHAHAHA

While I did initially plan this for GGY week I eventually got the idea to use this as an excuse to draw other GGY designs, soo..

(Not sure why tumblr formatted it that way with 1 of them big but it doesn't matter lol)

I've been wanting to do this for a while, I put the tags of each person next to their design but ofc I'm still gonna tag them in the post itself so you can see their art for yourself if you haven't already. But I enjoyed each of these in their own ways so if you don't mind I think I'm gonna type a bit of text next to them..

@chipistrate This was one of the first I drew out of these, the design was pretty fun to draw but sorry if I messed up a few details, it was a bit difficult lol. The mask and goggles are really fun to draw and they make for a cool design, along with all the glowing blue. (and yes, I tried to subtly include the heelies lol)

@lunzi0 This was the first fursuit one I did lol. I adore the little stars in the design, they personalize it so well and make it really unique. I wanna try this design again since I feel like the other ones show my improvement a bit better, but I hope you can appreciate the effort I put in on my first attempt <3

@carouselrabbit This one was really fun to draw, I absolutely love the eye shape/lashes, it stands out and I always love drawing eyes with a bit of eyeliner lol, the daycare theme legwarmers is a cool nod to the balloon boy arcade machine being connected to them, and was just a fun addition in general lol, I like the style of legwarmers what can I say, fnaf changed my fashion sense a bit. also the subtle paraells to freddy's design is a nice way to connect a bit to gregory himself.

@puhpandas I can't remember if I talked about this design last time I drew it but, overall I'm really happy with how this came out, it's such an indicator of improvement since I started drawing this and I'm glad I was able to draw it better than last time lol. All the patchwork and similarities to Vanny's suit work really well, and the rabbit you chose to base it off of was a good fit, the colors make it a bit more difficult to shade for but i like detail lol, hope you like it too :)

@dykevanny I knew I wanted to do this since I started but I wasn't sure if I'd have time, and I'm glad I did! I hope you don't mind I combined aspects from the first design I saw and the second one you replied to my ask with, I liked the big purple sleeves lol. (I just realized after doing all the shading I forgot to include the oil splatter on his jacket, sorry!) It was definitely a bit difficult due to the head shape being so different but.. fluffy. i love drawing fluff. And the glowing swirl on the goggles, the shape of the ears, I love a lot about this design. :D

I have a hard time with writing compliments but I wanted to get some of those thoughts out, some of the things I like about these designs apply to multiple lol. I adore every one of these designs but I find it hard to put into words what I enjoy about them, hope the original creators are happy with these. <3

I also kept the ggys without as much lighting effects on a separate file, I felt like I should add them since they're a bit brighter lol, makes them look different.

Okay now that I've gotten all that- Sorry this post is so long! I didn't think it'd end up taking up so much space lol. Buut.. working on this drawing and thinking about it and potential context behind it gave me an au idea for it, but I'll put it under the cut since I understand most people probably won't care and just wanna see the drawings lol.

Idk if I'm confident enough to write for it but I'll give a bit of a summary.. I'll keep it under the cut for people who aren't interested and just wanna see the art though lol.

After the main events of SB and Ruin, now that the mimic's been set free, Cassie's taken control of by what's left of Vanny, using her as a new host. But with Cassie being the only human left alive down there, after being reawakened, Dr. Rabbit has nowhere left to go but back to his old host.

Vanessa, Freddy, and Gregory hadn't gone back to the Pizzaplex after ruin, but they were trying to figure out a plan to get Cassie back safely. One night after Freddy and Gregory disappear, Vanessa leaves to go find them. As dangerous as the pizzaplex is, it's her best guess for where they might've gone. She doesn't want to think about what could've happened to them, in denial for the worst case scenario. She tries to keep herself calm by telling herself they probably just left to go back for Cassie, maybe they didn't want her stopping them.. but deep down she knows it can't be that simple. She knows something's off, even if she's not ready to admit it.

When returning to the pizzaplex, she brought along her own V.A.N.N.I. mask, though unlike the one Cassie used, it was clear of the mimic's influence. After all, she was going to need some way to travel through potential blocked routes.

By the time she found Gregory, she'd still been wearing the mask, seeing him down the end of a dark hallway. He looked confused, afraid, his mind was a wreck of conflicting emotions. She started rushing towards him, happy to see him okay, until he finally spoke.

"You need to get out of here."

She stepped back, taking off the mask, only to be faced with the worst case scenario.

It was a wreck, covered in stains and tears, but it was still recognizable. He was wearing that old suit again.

As he waved, she could see Freddy's claws peeking out from the doorway, as the two stepped closer towards her.

So, she did what he told her to do, and started running. She could hear a faint voice coming from the mask, and put it back on before finding somewhere she could hide.

It was his voice again, telling her which way to go.

I guess that was the dramatic way to summarize the main idea behind it, lol. Basically Gregory and Dr. Rabbit work the way Sun and Moon work in Ruin, whichever one is in control in the real world, the other is left behind in the AR world. Or at least that's my interpretation of how they worked, considering Sun was always in mask-on scenes and moon was mask-off. I'm not too sure where the plot might go from there, and maybe I'll consider writing for it, I dunno. I've never wrote fanfic before because I get deadly afraid of writing them out of character lol, but maybe?? I have ideas for scenes and premise and stuff but I don't know if I have the confidence to write it.

But anyway! That was just more of a fun side-idea I came up with while working on this, if you read this far thanks, hope you enjoyed :)

Just finished watching the FNAF movie (hooray for early UK release!) and I unironically loved it. Some things I want to mention…

Honestly me just losing my fucking shit whenever there was a reference to the lore/games?!?! Like I was SO excited it was unreal

THE TOREADOR MARCH?!? FOXY SINGING?!? BALLOON BOY?!?! VANESSA?!? THE FREDDY LAUGH?!? THE “IT’S ME” WRITTEN ON THE MIRROR?!?

Not gory at all tbh like there’s a couple of scenes involving blood but most of the kills cut away before showing anything (there WAS a scene where Freddy chomped someone’s torso in half but you only see her bottom half afterwards, like the bite happens in the shadows)

There were, in fact, five nights at Freddy’s (and one day) (yes I counted lol) and absolutely nothing of particular scariness happened on Nights 1 or 2, Night 3 was cute, Night 4 started off cute but got sad and then Night 5 was kind of terrifying, kind of funny, kind of fucking awesome and filled with lore

They definitely missed a trick by not mentioning the Bite of ‘87 (or ‘83? Idk) or Golden Freddy but I know there MIGHT be a sequel so… 👀

I spent the whole of the movie trying to figure out who the fifth child/animatronic was 💀 like obviously Freddy, Chica, Bonnie and Foxy… was the fifth one the fucking cupcake?!?!

The cupcake was kinda goofy but I loved it all the same

The animatronics went from villains to not villains to villains to not villains again like what a journey

Look most of my FNAF knowledge admittedly comes from watching Markiplier and JackSepticEye playthroughs but since when was Vanessa William Afton’s daughter?!? Also is Vanessa THE Vanny???

Literally all of the people in the cinema freaked out when Springtrap appeared oh my god

We have come SO FAR since the SFM fanmade videos of William Afton in the Springtrap suit getting springlocked and dying surrounded by the ghost children in the animatronics like holy shIT?!?!

“I always come back” - cue the 20 people at the 10:50am showing I was in absolutely losing their fucking shit

In the sequel (if there’s a sequel) I DEMAND more Matthew Lillard as William Afton/Springtrap like yeah he’s dead but FLASHBACKS!!!! Prequels?!? So much potential there. What I’m trying to say is that we deserved more of him, he was amazing but only there at the beginning and the very end, that’s my top complaint tbh

Not that scary to be honest but there’s some jump scares

I will say this, it definitely felt VERY campy at times, like there were moments involving murderous animatronics where we were all giggling in the cinema

Abby (Abi?) was VERY cute and sweet but also I wanted to shake her like you fucking idiot why are you going up to the scary ass animatronics?!? Stay in the office with your sleeping brother

The fact Mike still has custody of his sister after their aunt was presumably murdered in his home is not adding up but hey ho 😂

Is it the best movie ever made? No, but it was enjoyable for me so I call it a win

howdy! "self aware pkmn masters ex team leaders" gal here, and i just wanted to say that i LOVED your additions to my post! i actually came up with a few of my own in the meantime, and i just wanted to share with ya (not a request, dw):

Ghetsis: after Old Man Plasma is done "rebelling" against your control, you start noticing that he grows.. more attached, in a way. he greets you more whenever you log into the game, and gives you a lecture on "leaving him hanging dry" if you don't log in for some time, whether it being real life stuff and whatnot. he DOES see you as some "deity" in a way, but he cannot afford the disapproval that you might give him if you don't like his offerings for you. what if you end up dropping him from your team entirely? what if you kick him from the trainer lodge? what if you forced him to fight alongside N???? oh, the pain and humiliation! and while he DOES see you as a fitting ruler for Team Plasma, he also unfortunately knows that you don't trust him for shit. and he DOES 'attempt' to be honest and not manipulative for once, but the app's code is holding him by the collar. but becoming plasma's ruler is a standing invitation, so he'll wait as long as he wants.

Giovanni: ah, gio. good ol Mr. "My Entire Team Dies To Grass And Water And Ice". he strangely became more lax and laid back after discovering his self awareness, and he grew more attached to you; mainly because you're the only person who seems to know about him more than he does about himself. oh, you just so happened to mention silver one time? well, now you got giovanni wondering if he can repair his doomed-from-the-start relationship with his son. but his interest peaks when you mention the pokemon anime, and like the Cunning Narcissistic Old Man he is, he wonders how HE is portrayed. luckily, he wasn't butchered too hard. but when you bring up jessie, james, and meowth? boy, he goes into total Angy mode. he rants about how incompetent they are, and how he allowed them to even be in the team to begin with. and he DOES get in character, which is a bit surprising for someone who just discovered his existence is a sham. and expect him to refer to himself as "Vanni" or "Gio", since he heard you call him that when you first got him and it just sorta stuck, yknow?

Maxie & Archie: just as before, Mr. Magma Man and Mr. Sea Pirate remained the same, but expect to see yourself get pulled into their dumb debates and arguments now that they consider you close enough to be a Team Magma/Aqua admin. you can just log in once and maxie will greet you at the pokecenter and be like "ah, (player). i need your opinion on something. you see, archie said that kyogre is the best legendary, but i beg to differ. im asking you because you are the only smart person i can rely on around here.." or archie just going on a 15 minute rant to you about how groudon sucks dookie and that maxie is a man child (they're still besties, dw) that needs to study the SEAS and not (in his words) "STUPID ITTY BITTY ROCKS". you're practically their closest thing to a friend, and that says a lot.

Cyrus: he gets quite curious about your world. you tell him about all the little things, from the blooming of flowers to space discoveries, and he feels like his third, nonexistent eye has been opened. he was already so focused on destroying a universe and creating one dull of emotions that he forgot to see the REAL beauty of what lies beyond. while he physically can't use palkia or dialga to do what he wanted in platinum, expect to see him go full fanboy mode over your world, your town, anything surrounding you. its almost adorable, even when he just has a -_- face the entire time. if he could be more expressive, you bet your ass he would be smiling rainbows at that point.

They all grow somewhat attached to you. You are the small bit of sanity they can grasp onto nowadays. Hearing you lets them relax.

Meanwhile, you get to learn about their lives, how Pasio is doing.

It’s strange. When you are offline, theres so much going ok, yet not at all. Not enough for anything major, but enough for it to seem like the place must be alive when you aren’t looking.

Even the bosses have recognized this. How odd it is.

They all grow so attached. If you end up not logging in for a while, you even start getting notifications from the app.

‘Are you there?’

‘Are you alright?’

‘What happened?’

Much to your surprise, they found out how to communicate through your notifications. They often fight who gets to even do so.

Most of them would never admit they are attached, but they all grow concerned regardless.

Archie and Maxie would probably be the only ones to openly admit they were worried. They definitely see you more as a friend, not just a potentially god like entity.

Can we talk about how dr rabbit is genuinely scary tho? In the patient 46 tapes when I was listening to it I was slightly uncomfortable because of how quiet they were and the way they found some odd stuff funny. Then in the ggy story it was revealed to be Greg like hello? The idea of a kid being possessed and killed people bigger then them is genuinely terrifying and the fact they’re smart as hell as well? I would’ve minded my business if I was Tony as soon as I saw glam rock freddy watching me bc no sir..

seriously and imagining his personality showcased in GGY is just a front he puts up. like the real unpossessed Gregory acts like GGY did in the book, but glitchtrapped characters are shown so far to be the opposite of themselves when they're 'performing', just exaggerated. like Vanessa being angry and snappy and Vanny being playful and soft spoken.

Gregory would be snarky, clever and charismatic as himself, but as Dr Rabbit, he should be quiet, stoic, and calm. but he isnt. which makes me think his whole personality shown to Tony and Ellis is just a front he puts up, like how it was with Vanessa, and when hes alone or in the clear, he just drops the act. goes from smiling and making quips to a blank uninterested face so fast its jarring. genuinely creepy to think about

and it is creepy imagining just how small Gregory is. like Tony makes a point in saying that Gregory's the smallest boy in his class, but people still seem to like him. after knowing some context, Gregory being small and deceiving and hiding the fact that somethings wrong so well to the point where girls literally crush on him while at the same time hes hacking the system and killing countless people and getting away with it.

like it hammers in how much people dont see him as being suspicious in any way, and if Gregory hadn't gotten freed somehow he could very well have gone on for much longer

and 46s tapes showcase my other point even more. GGY didnt care if the therapists saw his other side. he didn't care if he didnt have his 'Gregory' front on. he let them see him as himself, quiet, stoic, uninterested, and mysterious. he didnt care because hes just going to kill them, anyway, and he literally got away with it

for a long time, too, if how far behind 46 is compared to Vanessa's 71 is

it just hammers in how much Gregory really was the perfect pawn. the star player. the most favored apprentice. he had every single thing going for him to keep what glitchtrap was doing under wraps, and glitchtrap knew that. he was literally the favorite.

I just love thinking about GGY and 46 and Gregory and what his alter ego would be like, especially with all of the evidence we have to branch off of

So I finished Ruin and. . . Hoh boy.

Per usual, everything will be below the cut (THERE WILL BE SPOILERS)

The dlc was short but it was super immersive! I was at the point where I was easily losing track of time because I was so lost in the scenery but, we're gonna go in order here of everything that happened!

First, the walkie talkies!! They're so cute, and I love how each one is related to an animatronic (or at least two of them with the Roxy Walky and the Freddy Walky)

Next, the Faz-wrench was such a neat little addition to the mechanics. It gave Cassie her own thing compared to Gregory and it tied into her background of her father being a technician. Plus, the mini game associated with it was super soothing to me for some reason!

The VANNI system and mask was also a SUPER neat touch. It felt like playing Help Wanted with the AR and electronic aspect. I loved how you had little tasks to complete to "breach the security" of each little area which ended in the Parent Node having its own little puzzle to solve in order to full breach it. Not to mention the goddamn Entity who stalked you in the AR world

A little sus that the mask was tied to Vanny, which makes me wonder if the game in Help Wanted was VR but instead of like an occulus or whatever, the item you needed to use was the VANNI mask. It would make sense considering the mask was one of the items you got in Help Wanted and it was the game that "made" Vanny herself

I wish the mask was explained more but I still understood why they didnt focus too hard on it. Maybe in the next DLC/game we'll get an explanation

The Daycare scene was just as jarring as the original game! I both hated and loved it! I did find it super interesting how this time instead of trying to turn on the generators to stop Moon, you needed to turn them on to save Sun.

When Cassie used the Faz-wrench to "create" Eclipse I was pretty flabbergasted! there was a setting, apparently, at all times to combine Sun and Moon to create what looked to be the perfect Daycare Attendant. Which confused me as to why Fazbear Entertainment would risk ever letting Moon out if they could have just gotten rid of him completely?

And it was apparent that Sun and Moon were both suffering, but Sun was more so since he seems to be the dominant personality. The way he begs for help and even thanks Cassie as she leaves is tell-tale that he was having a horrible time being alone and trapped within his own mind.

Oh well, Eclipse is my baby and Kellen's soft voice for him was wonderful!

The part with the walking Endos was awful! Just like in the original game! I'm not even gonna bother posting screenshots of them! I hated them!

The nod to the Freddy and Friends TV show was super cute, I loved it!

Monty's backstory in the Monty Golf was an eye opener as well. You see Monty's roots in the first scene as a One Man Band, playing in his swamp/bayou to whomever will listen.

In the second scene you can see his admiration towards the original band of Freddy, Chica, Roxy, and Bonnie. Notably, Monty and Bonnie seem to be looking at each other, which makes me feel like Monty was more so admiring Bonnie rather than the entire band or even Freddy. Freddy is also completely darkened/outside of the light. Which matches what we know about Monty and his inferiority complex towards Freddy and his fame as the face of FazEnt and the Pizzaplex.

In the next scene, you see Bonnie (partially cut off) giving his guitar to Monty, a passing of the torch. The final scene is Roxy "glamming" Monty up for his spot on the band

Now, this all sorta flips what we know about Monty and Bonnie's relationship on its head. In the prior game it's hinted that Monty might have shattered Bonnie in order to take his spot because he was jealous of him or hated him or whatever but. . .If that were the case, why would Monty use Bonnie's bass and wear his glasses? If he hated the guy so much, why use his items and therefor constantly be reminded of him? And why would his attraction in Monty Golf revolve around his admiration for Bonnie if the feelings he had for him were the complete opposite?

I think Monty and Bonnie were fine with each other, or at least friendly in a mentor/student way, and Bonnie being shattered was either something William/Glitchtrap/Burntrap and Vannie facilitated or could have been something where Bonnie fell from the catwalk above Monty Golf and got shattered that way.

Monty seems to hate Freddy more than anything or anyone else, judging by the decapitated Freddy statues in Monty Golf and his cutout being blacked out. and it would fit with that one ending where Freddy ran away and Monty took his place. Idk man, my brain was SWIRLING over this

Plus that whole scene/puzzle in Monty Golf catwalk was both annoying and fun with the blasters. Hate/loved it!

The addition of the jammers was a neat little touch too. It made the game more difficult while also giving you a reason to actually perceive the Entity as a threat (since sometimes the jammers locked you in the AR mode, which is the only way the Entity can catch you)

Poor Roxy, man.... She can't see anymore, but she still sits in front of the broken mirror in her Salon and berates herself.....

They're echoing each other.....

This is pretty heartbreaking.

Here's Cassie, presumably on a birthday or some outting to the Pizzaplex, spending time with her favorite animatronic and getting dolled up to look like her, only to end up sobbing all alone and ruining her makeup. And then here's Gregory to comfort her, implying this might've been when they first became friends.

And it explains why Cassie cares so much about him. Gregory helped her when she needed it, and now she's here to do the same

Every single part with Monty in the water was anxiety inducing and I hated it!

Oh. . .what cruel irony. . .

The one to decommission Monty was a neon sign of Bonnie, who was (presumably) either shattered by Monty or because of Monty, and was Monty's biggest inspiration and the object of his adoration. . .

Owch. . .

I was not expecting this fucking go-kart to kill if it hit you so imagine my surprise when I see this cutscene and my brain hasn't registered my flight response so I end up getting knocked out of my fucking sketchers by some kart going 30 on a small stretch of asphalt.

Vanessa and Vanny were seperate people in my Rabbit City AU but idk if I still want them to be different or the same now. FNAF Movie Spoilers ahead!

• Jirou is a casual enjoyer, got into the fandom because of the music lol so she loves The Living Tombstone and wants to see if they'll make it to the movie's soundtrack. Her fave song would be I got no time (not bc its my obsession at the moment or anything lol what).

She would put on an all black outfit with striped sleeves and leg warmers, do some loosely puppet inspired make up and call it a day.

• Tokoyami bc of course, come on. Look at him -a horror kid and a theater kid at the same time- he can't not like fnaf come on dude like.

His fave game would probs be Fnaf4 or maybe a fanmade like TJOC or Jr's.

ffffFFFFINEEE I like the game, and I don't mind GGY being POSSIBLY canon now. I love the fact that my boy GLITCHTRAP IS BACK!! (Still uncertain if he is Mimic, speaking of which...)

I still REALLY HATE THAT BITCHASS STUPID ASS ROBOT, but...I've reluctantly accepted as canon as well. I don't like it, I think it's still lame as an antagonistic force, and I'd much prefer it'd stay as Burntrap ONLY. If it ends up actually being Glitchtrap GODDD 💔💔 the AUs I'd have to rewrite...my personal canon ruined...Anyways, let's talk about GGY!

Uh! I guess I'm not disappointed! I have the many wonderful fnaf artists I follow (YALL KNOW WHO YOU ARE 🔥🔥) to thank for my newfound like in GGY (the concept, and surprisingly the story/other characters! You and her would definitely talk hours and hours about certain plays and musicals that have caught your guys attention. Sally seems like a Hamilton type of fan, but she's into the dark shit. Heathers all the way. She sometimes sees her as Heather and some of the neighbors as the other characters. ( Cough Wally, Julie, and Sally as the heathers, Frank as Veronica, and Cough If someone draws this I will actually cry and sob Cough)

You two would rehearse plays together and since she's the director she would make you the love interest and her the lead so the two of you could have your kissy kissy scene. But, she would be open about needing help when she does, but not too much because then she'll feel weak and useless.

The other neighbors love you and enjoy having you around especially when Sally is around since you make her, her best self. Going by Welcome Home logic, you would be the first to die, but my reasoning behind this is because you find out the truth and start freaking out and Wally can't have that so he does his weird little eye thing and oopsies, you're gone. 🤷‍♀️

FNAF: Roxane

You met the animatronic when going to go see the ultimate show, but when watching Freddy fall over, the show was cut short, or was it? To no one's surprise, you stayed back or more of you got lost and couldn't find the exit and it got to the point where the building locked you inside. Having that big imagination of yours, you went around wanting to investigate and that's how you landed in Roxanne's room… talking to herself.

The two of you were very confused just staring at each other until Roxanne tried to take you to the security room, but somehow you convinced her to let you stay. Now, it's just the two of you in her room talking and listening to her boast about how cool she was. Then, there was the incident with the little boy causing all of the animatronics to leave and go look for him. But, Roxanne let you come with, not trusting the feral stranger to be left alone in her room.

The two of you bonded after that meeting and once the little boy was found and things got hectic, you found comfort within the animatronic and made plans to visit a lot more than you had ever planned.

When visiting, you tend to stay the night and go around the pizza plex eating the shitty food and playing the games they have to offer. At first, Roxanne seemed to win all of the games, but within time you began winning and she seemed upset but deep down you know she's letting you win.

One night, when the two of you were wandering around doing who knows what. Freddy and Monty appeared trying to figure out who the human was and what they were doing after hours and that led to chaotic 112, who would likely jump on one of their backs and demand to be carried around. Now, you're friendly with all of the animatronics and have a blast with all of them, hooray! But wait… there's still Vanny/Vanessa and the daycare attendants.

When Roxanne was being sent to get repairs, you decided to hang out with Freddy and the gang, but the power went out leading to a strange moon chasing after you screaming about the lights. You were then dragged off and sent to the daycare spending the rest of the day with sun and moon which wasn't bad, until you fell asleep in the ballpit causing them to worry about leaving to go find you. And that's how you met Vanessa the night guard.

Trying to find your friends, you ran into the night guard who wasn't too happy with your sneaking in and staying after hours, but she didn't mind. You seemed to fit into her vibe and kept her on her feet when looking after the pizza plex and now you're able to get in without any worries of getting caught.

- Who would have thought being close with an animatronic would have its perks?

well, i guess my perception of him is like. 90% based in canon evidence. There's some headcanons, but theyre not pulled out of nowhere, usually being derived from some trait hes shown to have in the books

The two timelines that have piqued my interest regarding fnaf are wendigoon's timeline and matpats (which is . kinda surprising tbh), and while I think matpat's might be slightly more grounded, wendigoon's covers williams personality and motivations in more depth, which is what i generally stick to if you want to take a little peek over there. The rundown, though, is this:

Evan gets his shit rocked by fredbear -> william notices hes in there -> is kinda wrought with grief -> really loves him and wants to bring him back, starts experimenting with the idea of Killing Murder -> sister location animatronics -> elizabeth dies -> he shuts down circus babys pizza world due to 'gas leaks' (its elizabeth dying) -> henry notices whats up, kicks him out of fazbear ent -> he snaps, kills charlie -> goes on to kill the 5 kids at freddys. hands on this time

while i dont necessarily think this is canon, it still sets up the grounds for his personality in my mind, with the main things being that he set out to be a childrens entertainer, loved his kids very much, and when shit gets bad he kinda starts spiraling in the worst way imaginable. Perhaps always a little bit on the .. silly. side when it comes to The Killing Murder, but whatever happened here pushed him over the edge

speaking of silly, he just straight up is that. i mean, you could infer that from the fact he made a chuck e cheese kinda restaurant chain where he'd get in a rabbit fursuit to entertain kids. for fun. his idea. but beyond that, the books corroborate it:

he is incredibly theatric, a good example being the reveal of his springlock scars to carlton; explaining in extreme detail what will happen if carlton fucks up while wearing the suit, very calmly, and then with a flourish he reveals his scars and screams at him to not move. not normal behavior

hes very expressive with body language. this is seen in the books, but it also is very evident when you look at how glitchtrap and vanny move

he says he viewed dave as a role to play over just like, a disguise and alias. i cannot emphasize enough how much he did not need to make up a nightguard oc

he kinda did the same thing with springtrap in the novels, stating he wanted to be a comical over-the-top villain

(theres also like...the fact funtime foxy and spring bonnie dont really.....have solid genders. like in fnaf world spring bonnies blurb is 'boy? girl? its a rabbit, who cares' and then theres funtime foxy having he/she pronouns. these are williams creations. one of them being very close to him, near & dear to his heart. much to consider when you remember he was a dad of 3 in the 80s)

there is always those journals they find in the books. i can let those speak for themselves. the exact description for them: "A search of his house…found stacks of journals full of raving paranoia, passages about Henry that ranged from jealousy to near worship." Do with this what you will

This more so comes from me rather than canon evidence, and is inferred (unless im wrong and there is evidence for it- i dont really own the books) but I generally imagine he was incredibly charismatic. Not in the way where he was charming because he was attractive, but in the way where he was charming because hes just a fucking weirdo. over-expressive theatric childrens entertainer that loves his job? and a businessman, no less? come on now. Though, you could also see the intro bit for sister location where he's being interviewed about circus baby; his voice. his.Voice his bvvvrhrrg

There is conflicting information on HOW he killed the kids thats present; In the ultimate guide (which is, decidedly, more canon than the narrative timeline) it details that the murders were done via telling the kids something and then kidnapping them before killing them, some of which done in..incredibly violent ways. In the novels, it mentions sedating his victims before killing them for use in his remnant research shenanigans.

The difference here is that in the novels, William is killing out of a pure desire to advance his understanding of possession and remnant, and in the ultimate guide he's doing it in a far less calculated and clean manner. It's messier, more violent, and frankly, probably more fun for him.

Generally, when it comes to William, I try to take what I can from the novels, and if it contradicts evidence offered up by the games, I can probably disregard it as canon. This is one of those few situations where i CAN disregard it, because I highly doubt he, in a heat of the moment, passion driven murder, killed charlie because he thought to bring a sedative in his car. (not the mention how the books are dubiously canon and the ultimate guide has more grounds in what is actually real)

I did forget to mention how much I think he did care about his kids; I mean, outside of just that rough timeline I presented, theres a shitton of evidence he DID care about them over the evidence he was abusive or purposefully neglectful. He more than likely had all this triggered by evan's death via fredbear, which says enough in of itself, but theres also the cameras in their house, and the fredbear plushie that has a speaker and a camera in it. No matter where HE was, he could always keep an eye on them, talk to the kid that was constantly riddled with anxiety, and make sure they were okay. idk about you but that doesnt sound like the actions of someone who doesn't like their kids. Arguably, he might have loved them too much, since that kind of crosses over into like...Weirdly TOO watchful, but it makes sense since he was really obsessed with his work.

Baby is also worth mentioning, since we can glean that she was based off of Elizabeths appearance & made specifically for her, but since shes. yknow. a murder robot, William forbades Elizabeth from ever going near her, because he doesn't want her to get hurt. That says enough i think.

also i think his wife either left him or he never had one in the first place and the kids are a result of one night stands gone wrong amen

why i have abysmally low expectations for the fnaf movie, as someone who has been a fan of fnaf since 2015 or something:

ok. to start. I looked at the director's page on imdb, and her only other movies have been low rated. This is not a good sign. But, of course, I have seen first hand how wrong the movie critics can be about a subject. Past performance is not an indicator of future results. Necessarily. So this cannot be submitted as hard evidence as to why it might suck huge nuts, to put it plainly.

This film is also being produced by Blumhouse. Blumhouse has a few good movies, sure, but mainly it's average, very much imo, though. When I heard that BH was producing, I fell into a fit. The FNAF movie deserves to be show-stoppingly good. BH will likely not produce a movie that critics will enjoy. It will, at best, be kind of good. But most likely it will not be a good movie.

once again, past performance/future results, but still. the sample size is large enough to make predictions, as opposed to the director, who has only directed two movies.

They should have let me write and direct it. Just saying.

OK. I don't expect that there will not be much lore in this movie. They're bringing this down to nine year-old levels. Those are poopy diaper baby levels. This is THE child death series. And they're marketing it to kids who weren't even there in the trenches.

I'm aware I'm gatekeeping. However, I think it's fair enough considering the levels of child death, gore, killing, and all around unpleasantness depicted in the series.

The addition of the quirky little girl -- ostensibly to provide sympathy for the main character -- is bullshit. We all know she's going to wander off. Because kids in horror movies don't know how to follow directions. She's going to wander off, almost get killed or something, and the whole time we're supposed to be like "OH MY GOD! No way! There can't be child death in the Child Death series!" And there won't be! Because this is a studio film marketed to nine year-old boys. Nevermind the likely PG-13 rating.

But the girl won't die. She only exists for the main character to get into Situations. Shenanigans. Scenarios. And we're supposed to be scared for her.

I'm not sure why they included the whole forest with the children thing; maybe to stretch it out? Watching Josh Hutcherson press buttons and check security feeds can't be that entertaining, anyway. I'm not sure what they're trying to do with it, because the trailer already has him saying that their spirits are in the suits, iirc. So that's not the reveal. It has me worrying that they're going to try and shove the most simplified version of the lore into one movie. In my experience, they do this with movies they're not confident are going to gross well enough for a franchise. See the travesty that is Ms. Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children. So the appearance of Springtrap is a concern. It looks like Springtrap at least, or maybe it's Afton before the Squishening in the Easter Bonnie suit.

Why is Vanessa there? Vanny? I wonder if this is also going to be a false start, like the whole thing with Mike Schmidt is likely going to be. In all likelihoods, they're going to set her up as a love interest. But even if they don't, her involvement is baffling.

I'm worried, to say the least. This is all just speculation. But I'm not going to go into the theater expecting a good movie. All I want is for the series to not be fucked around with. Is that too much?

I know this is a pretty popular/consensus opinion but MAAAAN I am. SOOOO GLAD that Peepaw was not Afton and was never gonna be Afton, after this lore reveal with The Mimic (I'm behind on the pizzaplex books)

Like I was reading Fazbear Frights going 'fuck please no' at the implication that Afton somehow got away from his purgatory. And don't get me wrong, I love William Afton as a villain, but part of what makes him so effective is when there was PAYOFF finally for his deeds. It felt bittersweet, tragic, appropriate for his book to be closed with UCN.

When I first saw Burntrap I was SO DISPLEASED. Like not only was Vanny as a villain rather shafted because of video game censorship needs versus book censorship needs (some I agree with, some I don't) - but then William was coming back as the big bad? FUCK OFF WITH THAAAAAT

The Mimic is a good pivot and honestly thank fuck. Still fits into the fascinating theme of the cycles of trauma but from new perspectives, new incidents, independent of but not isolated from what came before in the world.

My fondness for the series is so revitalized because of the new villain and how well it ties into what's been going on after the events of Pizza Sim. Mwah, chef's kiss. Mimic is a good little bastard boy.

RUIN Thoughts!

I have seen pretty much everything that is out/widely known about as of day one so I'm just gonna ramble about everything. Starting with positives and then getting into the things I didn't like towards the end. Cause hoo boy are my feeling very mixed about this whole thing let me tell you.

I like Cassie! We have proper context and motivation for her right off the bat. Immediate story improvements there!

The gameplay of the whole DLC looks way better. Personally I've never liked games that box you in to one path too much in a way it's too obvious, but the DLC makes it realistic and gives paths that loop back around to places you've been. The map still doesn't make sense but that's just the SB experience at this point I guess.

Eclipse. ECLIPSE. ECLIPSE CANON OH MY GOD. He's sweet and gentle and acts just like how a caretaker should! Sun pleading for help and Moon expressing their pain being forced to work as entirely separate programs, both of them fighting each other's triggers.... Aauughhhh I love them. The fact that all they needed for so long was a simple reboot and there were just no human workers around to do it.... 😭

AND ROXANNE. Seeing the side of the characters actually being child entertainers is so nice! Even if it was done just to make the moment bittersweet. "Do you still like carrot cake? Bonnie design reveal!!!! Further implications that Monty murdered him!!! I...! I'm not sure I like it. It's difficult because he has no consistency in his appearance. The Bonnie Bowl mascot is purple like OG Bon but the design we see in the gator ride telling Monty's backstory is blue. What are those shoulder pads and how would that work on an animatronic, like at all?? He has no room to move his head! Don't get me started on the inconsistent coloring between his gloves and his outfit. Idc if I sound pretentious for this, the clothing choices hurt me as an artist tbh. If you're gonna make him blue let him wear hot pink or or even yellow. Idk idk it just didn't mesh to me. Oh and his neon sign had the star glasses but his cut outs didn't. Inconsistency is Steel Wool's middle name.

TL;DR I like the characterization given to everyone this time around, it felt right for them. Bonnie's design is inconsistent and kinda mid. And trying to force in booklore most people won't know about is just stupid and I'm mad about it. That's about it.

I definitely wanna draw Cassie with Roxy post game- because I do believe she survived that elevator crash- and maybe make a Bonnie design I'll like better. And I definitely wanna see other people's art. That'll be the best part of all of this.
