Lucas was getting restless. It wasn't like him, to sit still and wait for a good day, and it wasn't like him to accept it as something normal. While school - and his current injury - had put a pause on his plans, that didn't mean that he still couldn't find ways to entertain himself. He had to; it was as if his mind was turning blank, becoming too much for him to handle, and he had to do something.

It was almost too easy, going out into the streets to look for anything. He didn't care what it was; he had his camera, he had his phone, and he wanted to get his energy out. The sane way to do it would've been to go to the gym, but it wasn't enough, it never was. Besides, he had to test his reflexes out, and make sure that the burn on his arm wasn't making the biggest impact. Not to mention, he had to test out his lung capacity, and was there a better way of doing that than being a public nuisance?

Which was exactly what Lucas was right now. Wandering the streets, he was quick to notice how convenient the houses were, and how easy they seemed to be to climb onto. As if they were calling onto him, really. Not even bothering to turn his camera on to film for reasons, Lucas wasted no time, climbing up the structure, even as his arm screamed at him to stop, making his actions a lot less grateful. "Fuck me-" he breathed out once he was on top of the pillar supporting the door, glancing around to figure out his next move. He could see someone from the corner of his eye, but he was far too focused on being a public nuisance than anything else. "Think I could get onto the next door? Or is the roof the better move?"

Instead of doing MerMay this year, I decided to do ‘Magical Girl May’ because I’ve got a couple of magical-girl-focussed projects going on and I’d like to work on them a bit more. & I’ve been doing fairly well with working on them, even if I haven’t been posting.

This is a character from a project I’ve been working on with a friend. But I started colouring her and realised I’d just made Tom from Tots TV... The darker hair is an attempt to rectify that!

Very early sketches and very rough colours, so probably a bunch of things will change.

Ramsey had hit up the bakery as soon as she saw the colorful confections on display and was heading to find Dulce again as soon as she grabbed her items. However the festival had grown a bit busier than she had anticipated and she was trying to weave through people only to get stuck behind someone incredibly tall to the pint where she hadn’t realized how tall he was till she nudged him on accident to move around. “ You know I was trying so hard to avoid bumping into people. But I still did that sorry about that. “ Ramsey replied with a small smile realizing he was in fact a familiar face. “ oh hey, how are you ?”

THE BELL WITCH CAVE

Located in Adams, this cave is associated with the infamous Bell Witch legend, where a malevolent spirit tormented the Bell family in the early 19th century. Visitors report eerie encounters and strange occurrences.

It appeared that the ruling class in America wanted to outlaw anything that offended its sense of decorum, and so a book, play, film, organization, activity, or person that smacked of vice or difference from a life one might find in the comforting illustration of the Saturday Evening Post was in danger of being silenced. The irony was that the very suppression created more of what they feared--more anarchism and Marxism and protests and unrest--and it was books like Ulysses that sought to open minds rather than slap them shut.
