Popular Christmas song "Carol of the Bells" is based on a Ukrainian song called "Shchedryk" and was originally arranged by Ukrainian composer Mykola Leontovych. In 1921 undercover soviet state agent asked to stay the night at composer's' family home. In the morning he killed Mykola Leontovych and robbed his family.
"Shchedryk" was created while Mykola Leontovych was staying in Pokrovsk, city the russians are desperately trying to capture and are turning into ruins right now:

The Third Assault Brigade got some music artists to create an album. The artists gave the brigade all rights to the songs. That means all profits from purchases and listens goes to the Third Assault Brigade to support them at the front.
The album is called ЕПОХА and has 8 songs. I believe it should be on all platforms, but here is the Youtube Playlist linked above for convenience.
I highly recommend it. Also, it's been helping me with my recently returned insomnia due to a certain orange stain.
Here's a free way to help Ukraine and get interested in Ukrainian culture through music.

I highly recommend the new album of Ukrainian band Vivienne Mort. Genre: indie rock/indie pop
The album is called "Фата". According to the musicians, the album is conceptual and is divided into three parts: realization and adaptation to the new reality, farewell to the old reality and blossoming of feelings, search for oneself and faith in the future.

Kozak-bandurzysta. Козак-бандурист
Witaj Bohun, radam ci serdeńko, zagrasz nam dziś na bandurze!
Let's look at Him, this time playing one from his two "real" instruments: BANDURA, the Ukrainian Cossack folk instrument, for the first time recorded in a historical source in the mid-15th century. Just imagine, when Bohun played his bandura, the Cossack-bandurist's tradition was already c. 200 years old!
*The instrument's form here is rather modern (19th century) and the ornament is not entirely historically accurate, but I couldn't stop myself from giving Bohun a bandura adorned with lilies:-)

Light in the Attic (Twitter; Website) has revealed a project up for pre-order, "Even the Forest Hums: Ukrainian Sonic Archives: 1971-1996."
"The first comprehensive collection of its kind, this release explores the flourishing Ukrainian music scene of the late 20th Century. Featuring Ukrainian artist Maria Prymachenko’s beloved and iconic folk paintings, the project was lovingly assembled by Shukai Records, Kyiv-based writer Vitalii “Bard” Bardetsky, David Mas, (“DBGO”), Mark “Frosty” McNeill, and Light in the Attic A portion of the proceeds from sales of the project will be donated to Livyj Bereh, a Kyiv-based volunteer group working to rebuild in the regions affected by the ongoing war in Ukraine.
For more info on the project, click the website link above for the page.
If you want to hear the first two singles, check out these videos.
I might have to splurge on a pre-order. This sounds amazing.
