Summary: The lads have a bash with Beth, their childhood friend and fellow musician. After Ringo and her are left alone, things pick back up as it always seems to do when substances are involved.

It was a get together, a house party only for the five of them. Getting drunk or high, or both, wasn't expected, but it happened. How could they say no? Good vibes, good company, and good substances — it was destined.

George was the first to retire, smashed off his head and high as a kite. He said he felt a little nauseous, and excused himself to the guest bedroom. Next was Paul, also drunk and high, but mainly just tired and mellow. He was falling asleep on the couch, and was sent to share the room with George. Lastly was John, far higher than anyone, he'd consumed a vast amount of vodka and beer and coke, and he'd stumbled his way towards the bathroom, not to be seen for the rest of the evening.

That left a drunk, high, and bashful Ringo, and a drunk, high, and joyful Beth. Sat beside each other on the couch, knees touching, laughter flowing freely and, perhaps, a bit obnoxiously outside of their bubble. They were talking about past times, future times, jokes and memories. Everything and nothing.

His arm was behind her along the couch, bent at the elbow to prop his head up; his torso was facing her, free hand resting on his thigh, fingers tantalisingly close to her leg, tapping an absentminded beat. She was facing him, leg hiked up to lay on the couch beside his hip, hands in her lap and other leg swinging as they spoke.

Everytime Ringo would make her laugh, she'd lean back a little bit, or her head would lightly hit his arm, or she'd place her hand on his knee or over his own hand. Each time, his drunken heart swelled, his cheeks grew a bit rosier, and he felt like a teenager again.

His eyes were entrancing, a gorgeous blue that Beth loved to get lost in. His smile was handsome, especially when it crinkled his eyes and he flashed teeth. He was a funny man, so full of love and joy, and he was warmth personified. He was cute, she'd happily admit. And a longing ached in her chest.

Like always, both of them eventually grew silent. It was just the hum of a record and the low volume of the TV keeping the room alive as the pair held their eye contact. It was intense, intimate. As if nothing else existed but them. A shared adoration, a shared love for one another.

"Hello, Richard," Beth spoke after another palpable few seconds, leaning up a little towards him. Her voice was lacking its previous brashness, now something more genuine and quiet.

"Hello, Bethany," Ringo replied, tone low and just for her. He leaned in a little bit too, noting the way that her cheeks flushed with his movement.

"Hello, Ritchie," She leaned up a little more.

"Hello, Bethie," He leaned down some more.

Their noses were practically touching, eyes half lidded with their sudden close proximity. Their breaths were mingling, a warm touch of anticipation between them.

"Hi, Ringo," Beth leaned in for the last time, lips grazing his.

"Hi, Beth," And their lips met.

It was soft at first, slow and almost hesitant. As if any further action would make the moment null and void; his free hand found the warmth of her thigh, exploring the fabric of her jeans and stopping shy just at her hip, just to repeat the process in reverse. He hummed as her hand found the side of his neck, fingers carding through his hair and playing with the strands.

Fuelled by alcohol, and perhaps a touch of lust, Ringo's grip on her thigh tightened as he intensified the kiss. He wanted to smother her, show her what he'd been waiting to do, how good he could make her feel. Maybe he could make it a point, and maybe she'd remember this unlike last time — hopefully he would, too. But right now, he was feeling bold.

Ringo's free hand met the base of her neck, the abrupt coldness of his rings eliciting a shiver from Beth. His fingers trailed up, carding through her hair and halting at the crown of her head; he grabbed a gentle fistful, a messy thing that had her groaning into his mouth.

Beth shuffled towards him, a hint for him to help. In one swift move, and with a little adjusting, she was straddling his lap. Their kiss was unbroken, growing more heated and desperate by the second. Both of her hands found his hair, and a single hand of his came to squeeze her ass hard.

It was no secret, in their new position, of his arousal. She could feel it straining beneath her, making her ache painfully for him as he was for her. She wanted him. She needed him. The way her hips ground against him said that perfectly. And yet there was worry in her mind.

"Ringo," Beth breathed, pulling back from the kiss with a little push back from his hair-curled hold. Her eyes met his, "We shouldn't do this."

He considered this for a moment, his usually bright blues tinted with something dark. Like an ocean during a storm. He searched her gaze, looking for any sign this should end. Finally, his lips parted, grip in her hair tightening a little. "I want you."

Needing no further reason to continue, she crashed her lips back into his. It was feverish, desperate, no longer holding any signs of hesitation or uncertainty. They needed each other, and each other they would have.

"Take 'em off, darlin'," Ringo hummed after a few more seconds of grinding and soft whines and holding himself back. He tugged at her jeans, "Need t' be in you."

Not having to be told twice, Beth shuffled away, trailing the kiss as far as she could. She stood, shaking hands making quick work of her buttons and zipper. Wiggling her hips to get them off, she cast a glance as he undid his belt and worked on freeing himself.

After kicking her trousers and underwear aside, and letting Ringo do the same, she took a step closer before he stopped her with an outstretched hand, "Undo your top. Please."

A lopsided grin found Beth's face at his polite yet demanding request, unbuttoning her shirt to allow it to drape at her sides. He was stroking himself, watching. But, far too drunk to be self conscious, she approached, flinging herself back into his lap and crushing her lips into his.

Settling back atop him, with some help admittedly, Ringo lined himself up as best he could whilst being devoured by their kiss. He drew back, both hands at her hips, and peered up at her with so much love and desire that she thought she'd melt.

"You ready?" He asked softly, barely a whisper. She simply nodded.

Following his lead, she slowly sunk onto his length, a collective groan filling the room. Her skin erupted into goosebumps at the sensation of being full, brows slanted as she drew in a shaky breath. For a long moment, they basked in each other's intimacy, her head finding the crook of his neck and breath erupting goosebumps in its wake.

He bucked his hips, prompting a surprised gasp; when she sat up, she began rocking atop him, the sensation lulling his head to fall back onto the couch. With lidded eyes he watched her, a hand sliding up to slip behind the open button up and under her bra.

Fingers found her nipple, toying with it. She moaned softly in response, hurried her pace. He gave a smirk, "'s that good?"

"Yes... God... please, Ringo..." Was all Beth could get out, voice a whine and damn near fucked out already.

If it was another night, maybe not when they're trying to be conscious of volume, he'd have fun with that. But for now, he nodded, muttering something breathy about how he knew. All the while, his other hand crept up to toy with her other nipple.

Every now and then, his hips bucked involuntarily, shoving himself deeper inside. And each time, she gave a delightful little gasp and moan combination, clenching around him and throwing her head back. And each time she did that, Ringo swore he could cum right there and then.

"Y-Yes, Richard, I do. Holy shit," Beth sounded breathless, as if saying anything took a lot of effort and energy. And for her it did, senses overwhelmed with the situation and his touches and how good he felt inside of her all at once.

When his real name left her mouth, he shakily inhaled, hips bucking into her and a hand at her hip pulling her down. Fully inside of her, his eyes closed, savouring how well she took him and how amazing she was. They stayed like that for a long moment, their heavy breaths mingling and appetite for each other not yet satiated. Perhaps it never would be.

Their eyes met now, pupils blown and cheeks flushed. Her nails dug into his clothed shoulder, lips subtly moving as if she wanted to speak. For a second, Ringo considered speaking, too. But like his partner, he couldn't bring himself to do it.

"I need you," She whispered, attempting to gain some sort of friction, of motion, from the man beneath her.

He hummed after allowing himself another moment to commit this to hazy memory, smile threatening to grow into the dorky grin she'd come to adore. Wordlessly, he wrapped an arm around her waist and held her close, shifting so that she lay in the couch beneath him. He kept himself inside of her, his breath heaving as she clenched around him impatiently.

Without prior warning, he began thrusting into her; his pace was hard and consistent, not slow but nowhere near as fast as he could go. A ringed hand found her throat again, daring to squeeze just a little bit. Her back arched into him as she let out a borderline pornographic moan.

Her hands clawed for any part of him, coming to rest in his shoulder and in his hair. She pulled him down, desperation thick in her kiss and the whines and moans that were softly escaping her, now filtering so perfectly into his ears. His skin erupted into goosebumps, a groan leaving his throat as she tugged at his hair.

Just when Ringo thought that Beth couldn't get more attractive or sexy or otherworldly, she had to beg and prove him wrong. His lips found their place at the shell of her ear, leaving sloppy kisses as he tried to catch his breath. "I've got you," He whispered.

As requested, he picked up his pace, leaning up to observe her expressions and the product of his handiwork. Through a heaved breath and exertion, he smirked something wild, "You're so fucking gorgeous. I've been thinkin' 'bout this."

"You feel so good," She managed with a smile, his gorgeous eyes the only thing she could feasibly make out through the physical blur of alcohol and the mental fog of him and how he dominated her senses.

Using it as fuel, Ringo reached a hand down and began circling her bundle of nerves, noting the way her legs shook, she got louder, and his name began slipping into her extacy. He was finding it harder to keep himself quiet, his own moans and groans now evident in the room, dancing with hers in a perfect vocalisation of their affections.

"I-I-I'm— so close," Beth whimpered, eyes clamped shut as she chased her high.

"Look at me when you cum," Ringo urged, his own desperation and impending release racking his voice with an unsteadiness. "I wanna see you."

"I love you too, Beth," He replied at the same volume, smile almost comically wide and lazy, his cheeks rosy. He wrapped an arm around her, staring up at the ceiling as it slowly rippled and threatened to spin.

Ringo's eyes fluttered closed after a few minutes, a satisfaction deep rooted in his soul. And yet he feared for when they woke up and forgot about the whole thing.

Bernard Dowd and the Art of Recontextualization

I'm what you might call a "fake Batman fan" - that is, I've only watched most of the Batman animated series', all of the live action movies, most of the animated ones, played some of the video games... so, you know, probably thousands of hours of my life in Batman related media. But not the comics! Fake fan!

Frankly, I find the comics medium the way DC and Marvel do it to be really hard to follow. There's the fact that you can't really follow an individual solo character without them getting caught up in massive crossover events that ruin their arc and pacing, there's the soap-opera-iness that encourages cheap and revolving conflicts inherent to the longform monthly release schedule, the writer roulette, and there's also just that going back to try and thread a particular continuity or character is an exercise in frustration. Oh and the retcons. Everyone hates those. They've (basically) never been good. Don't remember this part it will never come up aga

But, you know, despite this - or maybe because of this - comics is a breeding ground for ideas. Because of the quick turnaround and the demand for novel conflicts, comics just churn out idea after idea. Good ideas, bad ideas, doesn't matter. Get it to print. Retcon it later if we write ourselves into a corner. Comics are often soooooo first draft coded. This is why I personally prefer adaptations - they often reimagine ideas and retcon them into new narratives where they can serve a more coherent plot. But what happens when a character is picked up for a second draft ... without actually contradicting the earlier material? While enriching the earlier material, even?

(SPOILERS for Tim Drake: Robin and uh... 20 year old comics under the cut!)

So, uh, quick disclaimer - because I have very little overall knowledge of DC's Comics continuity, there may be more interesting examples of times that what I'm going to point out was done. But I love Bernard and from a writer's POV I'm impressed with the way they did it so we're talking about Bernard lmao

The Beginning (Robin 1993) - Reading comics from the 2000s hurts in a way I can't describe

Okay so I heard Tim Drake is dating a guy now? (Penny Sonic voice) Whoa he's bisexual I didn't know that! I'm sure people on the internet are being very normal about this. Cool let's find out more about his new bf. I like starting from the beginning... so like yeah hold on while I crack open the Robin comic and take down what this guy's deal is.

So basically the TL;DR of Bernard in his original appearances is that he seems to be an attempt to introduce some normal stakes teen drama into Tim's life. He has all the Funny Guy Friend Classics - he's got an inflated sense of his proficiency at pulling girls, he's inexplicably drawn towards the protagonist (who is cooler than him), he wants to date the most popular girl in school, and he wants to get down with older women!

This might just be me but while I was going through this I thought like, he almost reads a little uncanny, like he's been filtered through a Disney Teen Special. In practice he mostly serves to introduce Tim to the Real Plot, Darla Aquista, and be one of his ties to civilian life, which is, like, fine. He's ultimately just a background character and he's so unimportant that he only has one appearance after their school gets shot up(!!!), which is, again, to be more of an accessory to the Darla plot.

After this display of "wow this guy's kind of lowkey insane for offering to his resurrected bestie supervillainess to be her manager actually", he's dropped forever. Comics! We're not gonna unpack that.

The Sequel (Batman: Urban Legends) - We're Gonna Unpack That

Until almost two decades later when he calls Tim up for a date. And while I'm trying to skim over a lot to get to the point here and I don't really know the FULL context, it is notable that Tim is in the middle of an identity crisis / the cusp of adulthood when this happens (I think he just lost a spleen or something. That sucks dude). It's pretty implicit that part of the reason he's going to see Bernard is because he's someone familiar in a time when he's facing a lot of new and scary stuff.

And at first blush, he really does seem like the same dude. The familiar arm over the shoulder, the banter, it's all very casual and similar to the ribbing from high school -

- and I guess nothing has happened to Bernard in the interim haha he's just the funny friend guy right?

I really like the way they did this. I'm just unambiguously going to praise how good this is if you just came off the 2000s stuff. Comics have kind of breakneck pacing by nature but they really manage to condense down and then pull off a neat sleight of hand over the course of like four pages here. They re-establish Bernard as a silly guy and then wham you with the fact that yeah actually we ARE gonna unpack that. Fuck you Tim Drake life is ever changing and nothing stays the same

So the TL;DR on the rest of the Urban Legends storyline is that stuff like, HAPPENED to this guy while our focus was elsewhere. He learned martial arts, presumably so that he wouldn't be so helpless in the next school shooting level event, he got into a pain cult, he's just Not Doing Well. We find out, reading between the lines, that calling Tim on a date was probably one of his last attempts to reach out to someone when the cult stuff was getting really bad.

I've heard people complain that Bernard is uninteresting or not a character or entirely focused on his relationship with Tim, and I think that criticism is really weird considering that his entire re-debut focuses on the point that he's been having his own life and making his own (often wild) decisions - ones that really changed the course of his life - while Tim was gone. And it's also notable that this story is about how the fact that he's his own person and has changed and has made the nerve-wracking decision to take action and call Tim inspires Tim himself to take a leap and fling himself into the uncertain waters of young adulthood.

So that's how Bernard has changed. But that's not recontextualization, that's just the writers taking a guy and making him do another, cooler thing. Well hold the fuck on because we're not goddamn done.

What did he mean by th-

The Recontextualizerrrrr (Tim Drake: Robin) - Bernard is the funniest person in Gotham City. I'll not be taking constructive criticism on this

Tim Drake: Robin is the followup to the Urban Legends story and Tim is the main character fr. Obviously. but Bernard is also a major character. Later, he even gets to be a POV character. But they don't do that for several issues, instead treating us to his shenanigans from Tim's point of view as he solves a bizarre serial murder case and like, they're cute! And neither of them are normal in the slightest. I love that for them.

Again, TL;DR, there are a lot of interactions where Bernard talks to Tim both in and out of costume, but we don't get to see his POV until they go out to a restaurant and meet Bernard's parents there by accident and Tim has to run off to do Robin stuff. And like... a lot of stuff happens in this one bois. Whammy after whammy

We're suddenly introduced explicitly to a lot that was only implied or just completely unavailable before. Bernard's parents are ragingly homophobic. Probably were never great even before that. He suffers from depression. All that is a lot to. wait. hold on a second

he knows?????

HE KNOWS????

Okay so if you stop at this point and reread the entire run so far you find out that Bernard is in fact the biggest troll in the entire universe. This is the moment that cemented him as my favourite, by the way. Like I had a feeling that he knew and I was just laughing my ass off when my suspicions were confirmed.

But this is really interesting on top of that because Bernard has been revealed to be, at this point, a guy who you should look deeper than the surface to understand. Someone who masks his true self and whose true motivations you can only uncover if you're really looking past the facade. Even with Tim, he sort of offers Tim and Robin half the story each, taking advantage of Robin's "distance" to give out information he wants Tim to think about but that he's reluctant to talk about frankly while at the same time almost daring Tim to open up about his identity.

This is a really neat trick by the writers. It makes Bernard a multifaceted character who got to quietly develop while we were mostly focused on Tim, and there's some clever clever foreshadowing they set up in this run to achieve this. If it were just this, I would call it good writing.

But it actually goes one level deeper than that and becomes something really really special. because as we all know, Bernard was not conceived to be this way, he was a one-off guy who was kind of annoying and he was essentially retconned to be, like. Gay? Have depth? Be funny? All of those things?

The Seamless Retcon (Robin 1993 Again) - We took your guy and we gave him gay subtext and it worked astoundingly well

This is not a new observation btw, I've seen a ton of posts to this effect. But oh my god. Some of these panels really hit different with the new Bernard lore. Like holy fuck just read this back to back

There are tons of moments like this. There's SO MUCH that the revelation that Bernard is queer adds to his initially extremely underwhelming tenure in the Robin comics. A reread almost begs the question of what Bernard must have been thinking at any given moment! BRO YOU SAID YOU WANTED TO FUCK HIS STEPMOM. That's completely believable as a next-level closeting move and goes from kind of annoying to turbofunny.

Like yeah of course he's acting like a douche. His father is a status-chasing asshole and he's five racks deep in the closet. Of course he gravitates towards Tim - his gaydar is pinging and he thinks Tim is cute. And it's also pinging that Tim is like. You know

None of this would hit as hard if the writers had not set up Bernard as someone who masks so much. They worked it in that character trait to mean that you could always glean information deeper than the surface from his top level interactions.

Because of this, Bernard is really fucking interesting and he's a good character and he's one that gets better on reread. Like I said, that's a set of observations that are not new to me. But something that really gets to me is how seamless and intentional it is. It really feels like the writer sat down and took their time devising a guy that is believable as that other guy, but only if you read back with certain context.

The conclusion - Comics. Man.

So is this just about how Bernard is really fucking interesting and he's a good character and he's one that gets better on reread and that he can exist independent of Tim and all the haters are wrong. Yeah of course. 💖

But also like, I have thoroughly proven to myself that I was kinda wrong to just reject the published comics medium out of hand. I see now that there's room for the writer's roulette to hit the jackpot and that something I mistook as an outright flaw, the winding and unfocused and often improvised nature of it, can be ridden like a wave if you're skilled enough to do it. Meghan Fitzmarten is a goddamned genius.

Thoughts on Sanji enjoying feminine things?

short thoughts: i love it and think he should do it more often esp because i feel like he definitely does in canon and just won't actually let himself do so. i don't draw him in drag all the time for no reason

i could write an entire essay on sanji's character in terms of femininity, queerness, and misogny BUT we don't have time for all that so let's just focus on the fact i feel like there's actual evidence he enjoys traditionally non-masculine things and oda actually puts him in situations to highlight this pretty frequently

-i am guilty of calling sanji a metrosexual . it's a stupid word but it fits him. he's the only guy on the ship that showers every day and the only other ppl on the ship who do this are the two girls. man also wears suits like mad and has a fairly...daring fashion sense outside of that (granted, most ppl in one piece do.) but he just cares about these things more than most guys! and that doesn't even seem like something that came from his upbringing at baratie bc...no one else dressed like that. he just does that himself. i also can't stop thinking about the sbs where someone suggested sanji would be a stylist in real life and oda went "yes agreed"

-the kamabakka moment...okay terribly offensive and transmisogynistic (won't get into it bc i have several times before) BUT if we can take one thing from that it's that sanji *did* dress up in makeup and a dress and like. frolic with the okama. it's framed as "against his will" but he definitely could have torn that shit off quickly and easily enough, yet oda decided to imply sanji enjoyed it for at least a time before he chickened back out and called the place hell for 2 years. yea, it was probably for oda's idea of 'comedic effect' but this is, once again, one piece. sometimes the humor is part of the plot. sometimes very real information is given through the guise of humor. going off of this u could mention that (also offensive but meant to be funny) joke with the blood donation scene from fishman island

-idk just something about the way oda writes him fighting lots of queer or non-conventionally masculine characters. i feel like it says something about sanji having his own internal struggle about his masculinity- which we know must be true bc of his whole list of virtues he never breaks a la women because of his upbringing with good ol' fashioned zeff and uh. "men should be war machines" germa over here. he fights bon clay and queen for christ sake.

-the scene where he's like happy as a clam to be in nami's body in punk hazard is another comedy gag that's also a little . interesting. I could say oda just keeps accidentally coding him but I feel like oda's very intentionally with his characterization and the subtlety of it

-overall he's just clearly so interested in masculinity since zeff raised him to be that way and he holds zeff in such high regards in combination with his background with germa, his mother and his sister, leading to a I Have To Be A Perfect Gentlemen And Also Respect Women by Putting Them On the Highest of Pedestals. and this in turn has made him reluctant to engage with femininity in any way that could be perceived as Not fitting this manly persona he's made for himself, yet he keeps getting put up against it in various small moments in the series whether comedic or not. I don't think oda frames sanji's relationship with masculinity entirely as a character flaw or weakness to be fixed, bc oda seems to respect sanji's views/they align with oda's own views. BUT I do think he knows it's partially susceptible to change and....he makes Sanji encounter these things so often for a reason. does that make sense?

in my ideal world sanji 20 years in the future is a bit more feminine even if he's still a casanova ladies man. like he accepted the okama influence in his life, he's just more quiet about it, lmao. I mean did u see his hair for oda's 40 yr old design

so yeah. he does, I think. quietly and deep down.

hi!! okay so i really loved that one fanfic you wrote (3:16) way back when, it's honestly one of my favorite fanfics ever but I have a question for you!! I've honestly adored your writing style and techniques and I was wondering: what is your writing process? Not just plot wise (although yes that!) but also prose-wise? because honestly, the first thing that drew me into your fic was how FUCKING good your prose was and I was just in absolute awe reading what you had written, and it sort of started me on a journey to improve my own prose and make it sound nice.

so uh yeah!! what is your writing process and if you have any advice for how you write so beautifully (Not just prose wise!! plot and character wise too haha) or just like. writing advice in general, i am ALL ears <3

i've tried to marshal some thoughts...tbh i am always envious of effective writing that is UNLIKE mine, so there are lots of ways to go about this. (and also i am just Some Guy.)

i'll focus on prose things i think about during writing/revision b/c otherwise we will be here all night...but imo some of this overlaps with effective pacing, character, etc.

Prose is character – some writing is “voicier” than other writing is, living closer in a character’s POV.  but in most cases, if you are in any way in a character’s head, your prose is part of their characterization. dick grayson will use different words and notice different details than damian will. being intentional about a character’s voice has the nice iterative effect of strengthening their characterization, which then makes your prose more confident as you understand their voice, and on and on it goes

Allow “workmanlike” phrases – sometimes cliché exists for a reason; you don’t actually need every sentence to be a poem. in fact, you NEED simple writing to string together your powerhouse lines without turning it all into purple prose/losing the reader/ruining the pacing.

Examine “workmanlike” phrases – that being said, another failure mode is RELYING on these phrases instead of digging for something more interesting now and then. i might write the phrase “a chill went down her spine” – ok this is fine, but I’ve read this sentence 15,000 times in my life and seeing it in my own document should be a trigger to slow down and decide if there’s a more specific or vivid description that conveys character or mood or theme better. or is just prettier lmao. i think to myself: how does it feel to be scared? what is a physical reaction that’s REAL that i have experienced, and am not just taking from a list in my head called “Descriptions Of Being Scared That Writers Use”?

The fucking thesaurus lmao – do not find/replace willy-nilly obviously BUT if the only word you can think of is Not Exactly The Right Word Dammit then the fucking thesaurus is a perfectly valid brainstorming tool to get closer to what you are trying to say. even if u don’t find the right word, it’s often a jumping-off point to a better way to approach the sentence

Note your “is”es – ok this is the annoying one. imo this really strengthened my writing but i hated it so so much. when revising, find any instance of “is/was/seems.” (ex: “He seems impatient, and there’s a pile of paperwork sitting in front of him.”) There’s nothing WRONG with that sentence, but it’s worth checking to see if it’s an opportunity for a more active one that gives more character detail (“He taps impatiently on a pile of paperwork.” there. done.)

Condense – ok look at that example again. i phrased things more actively but i ALSO condensed two concepts (He seems impatient + there is paperwork) into a sharper sentence that ALSO tells us a bit about how this character acts when stressed. imo you can accidentally find really interesting prose this way, in addition to improving pacing.

Vary sentence structure – that being said, sometimes the way to go is a beautiful run-on, so long as that sentence has intention packed into it! if you are writing long lovely flowing sentences, it’s going to hit hard if you drop the emotional reveal in a short, choppy, standalone one. or if your sentences shorten as the mood of the scene changes, or or or.

Use detail to let a scene breathe – personally, i never want to write the phrase “there was a pregnant pause” or “there was a brief silence” if i can help it. this is personal preference, but i think the principle stands: you can instead control your reader’s sense of timing, create an implied pause, by giving detail in the right place. the reverse is why it bothers me when a conversation is interspersed with paragraphs of introspection lmao: in my head i’m wondering why pov is taking so long to respond

Use repetition – oh my god this is my cheat code. if you are really proud of a beautiful, distinctive phrase you wrote? use it again!!! make it a callback at an important moment!!! make it thematic!! do it on purpose. trust me it’s cool

Get out of their head – ok here’s an experiment. take a concept (“Dick is scared”) and tell yourself that you have to express this, but you CAN’T describe anything about Dick himself in order to do it. you can use the way the crumbling buildings of gotham loom above him, or the weather, or the way people react to him—but you cannot say a word about his actions or thoughts or feelings. chances are, you’ve now created some interesting prose getting at the concept abstractly. cool! use that, and also go and add the direct feelings back in if it makes sense to do so

"Unconscious" writing - uhh ok this one is weird, but sometimes for a VERY early draft—like, when I am staring down the blank page—I will stop…trying to write a story? I will instead begin to write, uh…poetry about what is happening in the story? Just, impressions, details, stream-of-consciousness…this will all have to be cleaned up and made linear later. but for now, go nuts. and usually it gives me a) some workable, pretty prose and b) an entry point into what i am trying to say so i can go back and write the “real version”

Dissect!! Good!!! Writing!!! - i'm sorry, this one is so boring. but if there's a writer who really WORKS for you, read very slowly and break down what's so effective about it on a prose level. i do this with ursula le guin. also, do this with poetry!!! which poems slam you to the ground and take your lunch money? how?

i know you also asked abt plot and character but i've already written so much lmao plz forgive me. i am not a big craft book person but i did enjoy refuse to be done and a swim in a pond in the rain. i also try to collect tips i find in this tag!

Like always, we try to brush it off as best as we can and head into work for some much needed sense of normalcy and, frankly, some grounding. It should really be noted that these frequent nightmares are really starting to wear down on us, though. Now, why is that?

Because, now, we're starting to hallucinate -- ...lmao -- random text messages and attributing random scribbled notes to his hand writing and ish because of it. Like, we seriously thought we saw the man's bike outside of our workplace. The sleep deprivation is real, ya feel me?

Leave it to our co-worker to be brutally honest with us. It's almost as if the comment about us clearly trying to forget our best friend, but no longer best friend, let alone non-living ex-best friend wasn't enough. I always appreciate diversity in a game, especially when it's done so right.

But anyways, the pacing was phenomenal. Like, the way that it gives you just enough information and just enough "Oh, he ain't wrapped too tight" and just enough trauma and just enough drama and just enough backstory--!! The way that the dev put all of that together was so--!! Bro, I'm in love. Like, I am so excited for the rest of this game to drop. Like, yo, how far is he about to go? Because y'all don't know yet, because I didn't tell you, but like...bro, anybody would be pissed in that scenario, but it's like...Clive is a yandere LI, so that's a different type of pissed for him. What I'm basically getting at is: What is Clive Donovan -- fun fact that's his last name. I didn't know until I was tagging it lol -- capable of?

This is honestly another Perfect Love -- y'all remember that review? --scenario. I could honestly drone on and on and do an unplanned 60+ minute powerpoint presentation on this game and how much I love it, but I will spare you that. What I won't spare you is the pressure I'm applying for you to play this game for yourself. I really hope I'm not overhyping it, but I thought it was really, really, really good, and I am excited for you to experience that for yourself; I need you to experience that for yourself. THAT WAS LONGER THAN EXPECTED

Both the hiatus and, uh, this chapter itself. Nearly 11k words. Yes, the previous 10 chapters only had 40k combined. Yes, this was necessary. Trust me.

I was planning on doing a whole big thing, like a grand re-opening, where I went back and edited some of the inconsistencies and earlier writing, maybe added in some "deleted scenes" that I wanted to make room for but couldn't fit...but lmao no that's not happening 😅 I updated some chapter notes and that's it. If I started editing this thing for real, I'd be here forever. But I have thought about creating a "deleted scenes" fic/fic collection, because I do have a fair bit of content from scrapped ideas when I started tightening up the plot a little, from scenes that I came up with too late to actually add them, etc.

Also, uhhhh...not to bury the lede, but there's no tankjohnny in this chapter. Yeah, I know. This chapter is actually written from Lyla's POV and, honestly, could've worked as a one-shot. It's definitely plot-relevant to the rest of the story, though. Would've felt a bit more relevant if it came out sooner after Chapter 10 (which it ties into a bit) but, ehh, you can't win them all. I hope you enjoy, and don't worry, the next chapter will have plenty of tankjohnny content. In a moderately evil way, to be fair, but it will have plenty.

the first 2 eps i thought it was fine, but it didnt really captivate me as much as id hoped. but then ep 3 changed everything for me. i started to think "how could living armour work logically? everything so far has been edible, so this must be too, right?" i actually managed to think of the exact thing that this series did. that really made me realise the worldbuilding in this was something unique, and it only got better and better with each episode. its really managed to captivate me and i look forward to "delicious donderdag" every week :)

ANIME ORIGINAL LETS GOOOO absolutely bonkers show that almost slipped by me because it initially tried to fool its audience into thinking it was a regular dramatic military show. it still is but theres also a giant robot who plays by saturday morning cartoon giant robot rules. if that sounds like tonal whiplash to you, trust me, it is. and its amazing. have i mentioned how homoerotic this one is as well? yeah. originally a tier below this one, but immediately after finishing this post i watched the newest ep. i had to make an exception and edit the list because ep 9 changes everything. i havent been gobsmacked by a show this hard in a while.

(return of the) show(s) that execute their own premise very well;

i havent read the manga for yubisaki to renren so i cant compare, but the quality of this adaptation has been very consistent. you need a little sweet romance every once in a while :) this is one of those series where the characters really grew on me the longer it went on. im always a fan of mixing realistic struggles with romance and this one has been doing it well so far

adaptations that are ok (i read the manga for both of these);

i've been a mashle fan since before s1 aired. and the anime has some good changes and additions here and there! but its not very consistent in terms of quality, it does that shonen thing where the animation quality suddenly spikes for certain action sequences, but it also frequently had a lot of scenes where they recycle shots a lot and nothing interesting happens on the screen for a considerable amount of time. still! its a fine adaptation. and yeah the op for this. blew tf up lmao? very strange to see happen in real time

i actually rlly like the manga for this one. i read the whole thing up until vol.6 before the season started (all that was available back then) and it made me cry multiple times throughout. i was sort of missing that connection with the show, though some of the later episodes still hit. its mostly to do with the animation quality, which isnt that great unfortunately. the voice actors are knocking it out of the park though

i was so beyond excited for this one. i replayed the op a million times, watched each preview, rewatched multiple episodes. and then. ep 5 happened. and i started to realise. oh this show kind of sucks doesnt it? the pacing of the first ep was great, but the rest? way too fast. it became clear with ep 6 that theyre trying to do a double cour show with half the length, which is why they started hauling ass plot-wise. now. i was an arajin apologist for the longest time. but at that point i honestly started to loathe him. even when he stepped up, his praise still felt sort of unearned. and to top it all off, shindou's motivation sucked so he felt like a lousy antagonist. ep6 was better than 5, but it really made me lose my enthusiasm and hope for the series. and right as we were talking about them probably not having time for a filler ep, ep7 happened. feels like a waste of time to do an ep like that when you've still got a whole 2nd arc to go through. but who am i EDIT; I've been wanting to add this for a long time, but Bucchigiri?! actually made sort of an insane comeback after the nothingburger that was episode 7. The 2nd arc of the series was incredibly gripping and the final confrontation was so good. I ended up falling back in love with it, and it was one of my favourites from this particular season. It was the only one that I watched twice during it's airing, actually, which is something I've never done before with any show. So that certainly says something about how obsessed I was.

it started off pretty good honestly. but then chris went to the hospital and it kind of just dwindled from there. this season does so much with characters that have not even been properly introduced like how am i supposed to care about these people if i barely know who they are. the stuff with finn and leo respectively was good though. but the lore dump? lord help me. also vijay just kind of. exists to be there in the background huh? i would not call him a main character they never give him any attention. wendy had another ep again and he didnt get shit. again. also i think finn was stupid as fuck for not listening to lala but again. who am i. i know we cant destroy high card because we need a show but. cmon man.

He sighed, sitting up. It seemed he was the one who couldn’t sleep. Every time he closed his eyes, Toya’s face flashed in his mind. Twisted in pain, blood smeared across his cheek, or tossing and turning in an uncomfortable hospital bed.

He should’ve been there. Toya was his boyfriend. It was his job to look after him. Hell, the two had been going to meet him. He should’ve met them halfway - taken the bullet, or, at the very least, been there to comfort him.

Well, maybe he wasn’t his boyfriend anymore.

He though he was dying. Was his final wish really to be with Nene? If so, he’d respect it. But what a way to break his heart.

He stood up as quietly as he could, debating on if he should just leave his blanket, or- he draped it over Nene’s unconscious body, praying she’d still be breathing when he came back. 

Seven footsteps, then two quiet knocks. “Ena?”

She pushed herself back from her desk, turning to face the door. “What is it?”

He shuffled in, staring at his feet, unsure of what to do with himself. “Sorry if this is a bad time, but, uh..”

“Look at me,” she stood up, striding towards him, tipping his face toward hers. He looked like he’d been crying. “What happened?”

“You might wanna sit back down.”

She pulled him by his collar to sit on her bed, and had him face the wall. She ran her hands through his here, preparing to braid it. “Spill.”

“Ena, do you gotta do my hair?”

“This is sibling bonding time. Now,” she raised an eyebrow, “stop twisting your head ‘round and spill.”

He sighed. “Ok. You know Toya, yeah?”

A Nightcord ringtone sounded. Akito sat up, spinning his feet off the bed, standing. “I’ll get out of your way now.” He headed for the door.

“Wait.” Ena grabbed his wrist, accepting the call. “Not now, Amia. Piss off.” She hit hang up, and almost threw her phone across the room, spinning it across the carpet. “Stay.”

“No, I-“

“Well, it’ll be at least twenty minutes before Amia will talk to me again, and you’re clearly not done talking.”

“I- Ena.” He sighed. “Listen, I shouldn’t have spoken to you at all. I don’t want to be a burden, you do enough for me already, without worrying about my stupid love life.”

“I’m more worried about the fact you’ve gotten yourself mixed up with multiple people who have assassins after them.” She frowned. “And where’d you get the idea you’re a burden?”

He wouldn’t meet her eyes.

Her mental maths wasn’t great, but she knew that Shinei - sorry, her father - was home a few weeks ago, and he’d had an argument with Akito over something or other while she was at class. Neither of them would talk to her about it, and a significant amount of Akito’s alcohol stockpile was gone. More accurately, confiscated.

“I’ll kill that man if he so much as touches you, do you hear me?”

“He didn’t hit me or anything. It’s fine.”

“For fuck’s sake. Sit your ass back down. It’s not fine, you’re not fine, nothing about this is fine.” She gestured wildly, sighing as he did as requested, and lowered her voice, which had been gradually rising. “This is not normal in the slightest, just the stuff in our house, let alone everything else that’s been going on with you.”

He laughed sadly, one of the only laughs she’d heard from him in a while. “You don’t know most of it, either.”

“Akito.” She stared directly at him. “Tell me the rest of it.”

“What if I said Nene was sleeping in the other room because I don’t want her going back to her house, just in case?”

“What if I’ve spent the last six months watching out for sniper rifles constantly?”

He sobbed into her shoulder, dry heaves shuddering his whole body. “Can we go back to when we were kids, and everything was easier?”

“I don’t have a time machine, do you?”

“No.”

They sat in silence for a minute, Ena processing everything still. “Well, I don’t have solutions for any of your problems, but did talking help?”

he sat up, sniffling. “A little.”

“Good. You do know you can come to me anytime, right?” She tried to glare at him, but it melted into soft concern the moment she met his eyes. All she could see was the little kid who ran in circles chasing butterflies, but the pretty much adult guy who’s boyfriend was just almost murdered sat in front of her, and every childhood memory seemed a million worlds away.

Were those two ever truly happy? It seemed Shinonomes rarely were. A family curse, or something. Everything ends eventually. Their name did mean sunrise, after all - the ending of the night - but it seemed to be dawning onto a world full of suffering.

Shinonomes were, historically, tragic. They seemed to be following that path.

Maybe they’d be the first to escape it. But that also seemed a million worlds away.

I'm gonna be real honest here: I used to use song lyrics for my fic and here are the examples 🤣

But I don't do it anymore for fic titles because- well- I actually don't know how to explain this, but thinking about the whole song and its lyrics while trying to plot my story can mess up with my brain? 😂 Yeah, basically it's like the process will only flash me images of "SYSTEM ERROR" repeatedly lmao

17. Your favorite character to write this year?

To start this, I need to say I got 2 (two! how lucky) lethal brainrots in terms of having writing ideas this year even though I've watched plenty of K-Dramas, movies and the likes. It's been an insane year ngl, so it couldn't be helped when I latched on this character from a pretty bizarre show: A Killer Paradox.

This guy is Lee Tang. His family loved him (mom, dad, and sister) so normally much. He accidentally became a serial killer because he worked in retail 🤣 He is one lucky bastard, tho! Regardless how shaky and terrified he looks every time he does it. Sometimes he didn't mean it, killing people, until he does - knowing the people he killed are notorious type of people: violent, most corrupt people who leech on other people. Honestly, good for him. It's really not that hard to be in love with him. Even a certain cop who could smell something's not right with him got obsessed as well 👀

Lee Tang couldn't really afford to be cocky tho. He knows there's no turning back from killing a person, so might as well dive in regardless of mountains of regrets he's having - leaving his family and old life behind. It's really great in the most entertaining way! I enjoyed it so much that I wrote 2 fic of that toxic pairing that contains 57k words combined, and even a short edit as well on AO3 SSJDKSJHDFKHSDKF what a blorbo.

So....the KFP4 plot huh? WHEW! I really needed DAYS to process all this & uh...I think I’m finally ready to talk about it?

Also before I start saying anything please note that I may share few more EXTRA details. Where did I get the details? Welllll? I may have cheated & decided to spoil myself a bit to get more stuff out. Although I promise I’m not gonna share any images & go deep to spoil movie. To be honest I myself only managed to get like only 5% extra details. Also reason I had to spoil myself to dig this deep by talking with the person who got this stuff personally from CinemaCon is that I’ve seen a lot posts saying most of you all have GIVEN UP on the franchise after the plot news was out. Granted some of the plot is not making sense. I myself had to read like 100x to process all in. But giving up on the franchise? I still can’t do that. KFP has a special place in my heart. I’m not saying I’m here to rescue by giving you guys hope. Instead I’d highly suggest you all to keep the expectations low....LIKE REAL LOW! The higher we’re setting the bar the more disappointing results we’re gonna get. Some things so far I found does give us a little hope of light & some are well....meh?

So first let’s just start with the villain herself. The Chameleon. Turns Kate Mckinnon is voicing the villain & her design so far is actually not bad? So far it actually looks good. Only way I could describe her looks is that she’s giving me a bit Shen mixed with bit of Viper vibes. Elegance is the only word I can describe her. Since its only a storyboard image sadly. Its not even a concept art image. 

As for her abilities/powers! Ooooh I hate Dreamworks here for baiting us saying this Chameleon can ‘summon’ the old villains. I know they’re doing this for keeping this a surprise or something idk but whatever the CinemaCon fans saw are completely different from the whole summoning idea. Apparently turns out she IS THE ONE HERSELF who can turn into TAI LUNG, SHEN & KAI. SHE’S A SHAPESHIFTER! Which is no surprise since she is a Chameleon & they’re known for changing colors. So I really don’t see the point why Dreamworks made movie news blogs & reports saying & using the word “SUMMON” which is completely different from “Shapeshifting”? Another thing this is gonna disappoint a lot of Tia Lung, Shen & Kai fans because i’ve seen a lot over excited fans who are waiting for a rematch Especially a Po vs Tai Lung. I’m so sorry guys but these guys are not coming back. They originals are dead DEAD!

She’s also gonna shift into one of Po’s biggest challenger yet too. I’m not mentioning this one this is worth saving it for the movie or the trailer. I hope they save this surprise of the MOVIE ONLY

So far for me the villain actually does sound & look promising. Whoever came up with Chameleon shapeshifting idea is actually pretty darn smart. My only concern is that she doesn’t become one of jokester type villains since its Kate Mckinnon who’s voicing. So yeah...that’s the villain info

Now for the fox character Chen?Zhen?Zhan?Chan? LMAO y’all have no idea how many different spellings I had to come across to get this character info! The funny part is people are even changing the fox’s gender in some articles which is really weird because its Awkwafina who is gonna voice her. So far we only know that she’s gonna be shown as a thief first? And later as Po’s student? Her design? No idea. For now. 

Judging by Awkwafina’s past animated characters like Sisu & Ms Tarantula I’m assuming the character might be some playful, sneaky, childish, cunning type of a fox character since the fox is gonna be introduced first as thief? idk this is just my thoughts? Bonus if she turns out to be some annoying teenager or young adult who would try to get on Po’s nerves during their adventure.Kinda to give Po taste of his own medicine & realize how difficult it is for Shifu & Tigress who has to deal with Po’s shenanigans. 

Also I won’t be surprised if the Fox too has some very similar backstory like Po or Tigress. I’m really getting a feeling the story is gonna be about misunderstood fox who most likely could be either an orphan or abandon by family/villagers or something

Okay so now comes the plot. We all know that Po is gonna get promoted to higher master position & he has to find new Dragon Warrior...yaddy-yaddy-yadda!  Apparently their gonna show Po finding Chen/Zhen/Zhan/Chan (SOMEONE PLEASE CONFIRM WHAT’S HER REAL SPELLING!) in the museum where Po is....patrolling? (i’ll be honest this info is a little confusing because I really don’t see why Po of all people is patrolling at the museum especially since now he’s in a bigger position....like why?) So after he finds her & catches her & stuff & she tells about Chameleon & later go on this adventure (Oop! Dragon Knight plot?) to city where the Chameleon resides & here comes the typical Mike Mitchell writing. Take a wild guess what the city is gonna filled with? We had got Wolves for the Gongmen City right? Now what could be MORE DANGEROUS THAN WOLVES? Hmmmmm? Well.....

LADIES & GENTLEMEN! WE’RE GONNA GET CUTE EVIL BUNNIES! WHEW....LET. THAT. SINK. IN 

This really reminds me of one episode in LoA where Po had to deal with his past bully which was also a BUNNY! Funny part of that episode was that even Tigress had hard time believing Po couldn’t fight his bully bunny enemy & constantly reminded Po how tiny the bunny is which pissed & offended Mantis off. Anyways back to the main topic.

Now I’m not gonna sugar coat this one. The plot STILL very much does sound very off & very animated series level of writing. Also the person has confirmed this movie is gonna have more of comedy BUT (here’s the hopeful part or at least I’m hoping) the thing is all this info is just like 10 or 20% of the plot. There could be chances that we could still get some emotional stuff since Dreamworks is known for hiding & saving the emotional stuff strictly only for the movie. Remember Puss In Boots? The trailer gives us more of action & the idea of the plot meanwhile the scenes like Puss feeling guilty about not attending his own wedding, the anxiety scene, Goldie’s wish scene & Perrito’s back story all this was saved for the movie. So yeah I am still keeping 5% hope we do get some heavy stuff especially if this movie really does turn out to be the FINAL CHAPTER. Who knows that those storyboards were only the main stuff just to give idea & furious five too MIGHT be there during the adventure but their all split up or something? Idk man I’m just saying.

Where is Shifu? Furious Five? Po’s dads? The Other Pandas? OKAY....uh...so far uh....sadly I’ve no freaking idea where the hell are Po’s dads or the pandas? I’m just gonna assume all the pandas have settled down in Valley of Peace & living regular lives. Po’s dads I’m assuming running the restaurant? There’s sadly no info on this one. Although I really wished his dads would’ve played important role in this one since its gonna be lot difficult for Po to take in his new position & to pass his Dragon Warrior title. 

As for Shifu & the Five. We are gonna get them but we’re told they’re NOT gonna be part of the adventure or what so far the storyboards was shown at Cinema Con din’t have much of them. I am still like 3% hopeful for this one since the guy mentioned these were only the boards which were shown there could be chances the changes can be made. But if the movie really is only focusing on Po, the fox & the Chameleon than I’m assuming we might get very few cut scenes of Furious Five & Shifu. Back & forth scenes like they did in KFP3. Either that or the Furious Five are having some other separate mission & hence that’s why Po decides to go solo with the fox. 

THIS IS WHY!!! THIS IS WHY WE NEED A WHOLE SEPARATE FURIOUS FIVE SPIN OFF MOVIE

Now for the big question; Why isn’t Po giving his Dragon Warrior title to any from the Furious Five? Especially to Tigress?! OH BOY! When I came across the articles saying Po is gonna have to find new Dragon Warrior replacement my mind too immediately went on Tigress! HECK! EVEN MY MOM SAID THIS! Also I had the whole KFP1 movie flashed in front of my eyes Especially the scene of Tai Lung screaming at Shifu telling him about how he filled Tai Lung's head with Dragon Warrior dreams & trained him hard till his bones cracked & Shifu & The Furious Five being sour & bitter towards Po in beginning...I understand now...I FREAKING UNDERSTAND THE PAIN THEY WERE GOING THROUGH TO PROCESS THE FACT THAT THEY ALL TRAINED THE HELL OUT OF THEMSELVES FOR THIS DAMN TITLE EVEN GOING TO EXTEND THE GET THEIR BONES CRACKED & END UP GETTING NOTHING & instead some random noodle folk panda fell from the sky with no whatsoever kung fu skills gets the title...YUP I UNDERSTAND THE RAGE NOW. AND THIS SHIT IS HAPPENING ALL OVER AGAIN I SWEAR TO GOD THIS DRAGON WARRIOR TITLE IS SUCH A FREAKING CURSE!! GODDAMN OOGWAY!!

BUT...BUT...Here's the thing what we also see is that Five...ESPECIALLY TIGRESS never had that desperate goal for Dragon Warrior title in the first place. We all know at this point well aware that Tigress only wanted to get the Dragon Warrior title is because she wanted to make Shifu proud but after seeing Shifu finally being more compassionate and the older playful self again thanks to Po. Tigress doesn't hold that grudge or jealousy anymore towards Po. Which same goes for the five since they were already warming up towards Po before Shifu & Tigress.  

I know most of us & myself deep down all wanted Tigress to get the title since she has gone through hell the most right from her Bao Gu days but Tigress has made it very much clear that she's moved on from the whole wanting Dragon Warrior title and she's become her own warrior

Now in Tai Lung's case. Even though Tai Lung says he did all that training to make Shifu proud but it was clear that Tai Lung was already blinded & thirsty for the Dragon Warrior power the most (Thanks to Shifu). Heck! Shifu himself admits this that his pride blinded him so badly he turned Tai Lung into a monster.

So yeah I know right now we're all disappointed that Po isn't giving his title to any of the furious five but to some random fox (who is a thief...wow..nice choice Po) but let's not forget that's how even Po's story started & we'll just have to wait & watch to see Po taking Shifu's role as master & trains this fox character. 

Also I’ll make a separate post on how Chen?Zhen?Zhan?Chan? (I SERIOUSLY STILL HAVE NO IDEA WHAT HER REAL SPELLING IS) on how she could earn the Dragon Warrior title. That’s not gonna be a spoiler post that is just gonna be an analyzing post or how I can see it happening

And lastly can we trust Mike Mitchell?...OOOOOH BOY! Judging by his past projects I would say it’s a little concerning but lets not forget even Joel Crawford had made some not so very successful projects in the past as well & years later Puss In Boots 2 became one of his best & successful projects yet. I’m not so concern of Mike my main concern is what exactly happen to Jennifer Yuh Nelson for not being part of this so sudden? I remember in interview she had mentioned if she really decided to make all 6 chapters like Jeffrey Katzenberg suggested she really wanted to make a complete beautiful necklace franchise for Po’s journey! Heck to be honest the third movie itself WAS ENOUGH AS A PERFECT END TO THE CHAPTER! It really did give us a perfect trilogy I honestly don’t know why or what made them to give us fourth. This whole retiring thing & passing on torch has been a very common plot trend in most animated/anime/comic medias lately. Anyways. Too late now. Lets see how this chapter turns out.

So....uh..yeah I guess that's it? I tried my best to keep this post with some positive stuff just to you know...lighten up? The thing is we can't say much anything right now because the movie is still in beginning/mid (storyboarding) stage. Its still too early. Changes still can happen hence we cant say much yet. Jack himself mentions that its too early for the trailer. So yeah its very common at times last moments some ideas could have changes.

Only word of advice to the pandom I'm gonna give is be a little more patient. I myself needed DAYS to process & break it down. If we have waited this long we just going to have to wait a little longer. My guess on getting the first teaser we could most likely get it in... August or September (this year)? I'm calculating according to how we got Puss In Boots trailer. The trailer was released in June & the movie was released in December.

We just gonna have to play the waiting game a little long & PRAY!! LOTS & LOTS OF PRAYERS (& INNER PEACE) THIS MOVIE DOESN'T RUIN THE FRANCHISE!! That is all for now. Feel free to share your thoughts or can private DM me!
