It’s so bitterly cold here in the Midwest USA, I wish I could be hanging with hunky guys in Dubai or something for Christmas. You think you could help me with that man?
You should have landed at Milwaukee Mitchell International Airport by now. But because of a snowstorm, you were diverted to Chicago O'Hare International Airport. This cursed journey to the holidays is getting worse by the minute. And if you drink another beer to drown your frustration, you're going to puke. But right now you need to take a piss. You find it a little difficult to get up. Firstly, because of the alcohol in your blood. On the other hand, because you've become a real heavyweight since last Christmas. A bit more exercise and less eating and drinking would also do you a lot of good…
The toilet is empty. It's amazing that so many people are stranded here so close to the holidays… And there's a sports bag by the washbasin. And it's still there when you come back from the urinals. Not a soul in sight… Could there be a bomb in there? A normal and sober person would now inform the security service. But you are definitely not sober. So you grab the bag. And in a reasonably quiet corner, you check the contents. Jackpot! Not much special. Sportswear, a white nightgown… And a wallet with quite a lot of cash, a passport from the UAE and above all: a flight ticket to SHJ. No idea what and where that is. But you have to change planes at JFK and DOH. That sounds exotic. It certainly sounds better than Kansas. Boarding starts in 20 minutes. As best you can with your beer belly, you walk towards the gate.
When you arrive at the gate, boarding is almost complete. The ground crew member asks you for your boarding pass and passport. Shit, you didn't even think about the fact that you don't look like your passport photo. The guy looks at your passport, looks at you, grins and wishes you a good flight. As you pass him, you hear him say to his colleague that you've really become a fat pig since the photo was taken. Well, that's probably your luck in this case.
You have a layover of over five hours at JFK. You heard in the in-flight program that the TWA Hotel & Fitness Center at JFK is supposed to be the largest hotel gym in the world. You really need a gym. And you have time too. So you set off. Not much sporting activity is to be expected from you. But after an hour of power walking on the treadmill and half an hour on the cross trainer, your new sports clothes from the bag you found are soaked with sweat. But you feel fit. Really fit. As you stand in front of the mirror after your shower, you run your hands over your stomach. Flat and hard. When you tense your muscles. That's how it should be. And you get rid of the rest of the fat too. It sucks with the beard. You shaved your beard for Thanksgiving. Because you were invited to a friend's parents' house. You didn't want to scare them off with your beard. But now the beard hasn't grown back the way you'd hoped. Your mother will scold you terribly.
You grab a salad and a protein shake at the bar in the gym. You want to sleep on the plane. The food on board is delicious and plentiful, but not good for your body. To make sleeping on board quicker, you put on just a tank top and jogging suit for the flight. It takes you a good twelve hours to reach Doha. You want to use this time to arrive home well-rested.
At boarding, the ground staff greet you in Arabic. Of course. As usual. It's nice to study in the USA. But you don't have to stay with the infidels in winter. You're now looking forward to the warm sun in the Gulf. The person sitting next to you is a non-believer. And obviously not familiar with Qatar Airways' in-flight catering. She has brought a large portion of chicken wings with fries from KFC on board. You almost feel sick. She offers you something. You flex your biceps and say in English with a heavy Arabic accent that you can't get these babies at KFC.
Tumblr media
The flight was quiet, apart from the brief interruption during which you fucked the infidel chick in the airplane toilet. You'll have to do without a wet pussy for the next few weeks. Hehehe, but your cousins and your bruhs have tight asses. That works at least as well. You only have just under two hours in Doha before the last flight segment. You quickly go to the airport mosque, do your ablutions and sunset prayers, change into your spotless white dishdasha and board the plane to Sharjah. Over the next few weeks, you are the perfect son again. You will enjoy it. And as soon as the crazy holidays of the infidels are over, you'll be looking forward to fucking, drinking and partying again!
I found the last picture of you before you change to immaculate white at @alphaincar

hello I've been following u for a while and needed some advice on my life. I'm 27 Yr indian woman who grew up very sheltered and wasn't allowed to be social. I grew up in uae where it was much safer but my father would not let me go out and socialize and I dropped out of high school because of severe depression. That school was the only social life I had and after that it was like I was in a prison. We moved back to India and it's so much worse and conservative here. I haven't had friends since high school and haven't talked to anyone new in years. My education isn't complete and I don't have a job. My father won't help me study or leave the house. I am so dependent on him even for the simplest thing. My mother and sisters have the same fate as me. No education, no extended family support, no job. We are so afraid to do anything cuz we didn't learn how. I feel so helpless in this situation I don't know how to get out of it. My social anxiety and insecurities are not the only thing holding me back. I am just lost. My father has ruined my life by imprisoning me but he won't accept it. He says it's just how Muslims are. I'm afraid my father will force me to get married as there is no other choice for me. I used to be such a talkative and cheerful child but as soon as my periods started I was treated like a thing. I have no proof of my father's abuse as it wasn't always physical and my father's manipulative ways make it seem like I'm the crazy one for standing up to myself. I'm sorry for dumping this on u. I just needed someone to talk to. Pls ignore if this makes u uncomfortable.
Hi dear. I feel as though you should reach out some programs in the UK and Germany with your background and story. Like contact admissions. And I do feel that you might be able to get in by doing some online course equivalent fulfillment for the highschool diploma. And thereafter apply to uni programs.
It's not too late. I would suggest to explore this path. The other alternative is getting an online job and networking on LinkedIn to find a job. But I'm not sure about the job market without credentials. Even though credentials are not very important at the end of the day to do a job, they are requirements by HR typically.
But if you are able to look up stories of women who have succeeded in the face of abuse or restriction and accomplish something, and then reach out to them on LinkedIn. Asking for mentorship Ang guidance, they might be able to help you. Both to guide you and also help you with a job. Focus especially on women in India.

Oil may be the lifeblood of many Middle Eastern economies, but some of the region’s biggest players are now setting their sights on another booming energy sector: critical minerals.
Minerals such as lithium, cobalt, and rare earths power the world’s clean energy technologies and electric vehicle batteries. As these resources take center stage with the clean energy transition, oil-rich countries such as Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) are also ramping up investment in critical minerals supply chains in a bid to diversify their economic portfolios and carve out a stake in the growing industry.
“This is not about replacing the bedrock of their economic engine away from oil to minerals,” said Ahmed Mehdi, managing director at Renaissance Energy and a visiting fellow at the Columbia University Center on Global Energy Policy. “This is more about making sure that they have a seat at the table in the energy transition, especially given how geopolitically charged this industry is.”
Rising geopolitical tensions have cast a new spotlight on these minerals and the countries that wield outsized influence over their supply and production. China, in particular, dominates the processing of many of these resources, which has heightened fears of strategic vulnerabilities and catalyzed efforts to secure alternative supply chains. And in the Middle East, where fears of fossil fuel revenue over-dependence run high, many governments refuse to be left out of this new race.
“Saudi and the UAE are coming out as big players in the critical minerals space,” said Gracelin Baskaran, a senior fellow at the Center for Strategic and International Studies. “These are oil-dependent countries who realize that the clean energy transition and electric vehicles are going to reduce global demand for oil, so if they are going to economically grow, it’s not going to be purely on continuing an oil-only model.”
“They are the new big kids in town,” she said.
Take Riyadh, which has outlined big ambitions in the mining sector. The country highlighted the importance of mining in Vision 2030, the government’s big plan to overhaul Saudi Arabia’s economy and slash its dependence on fossil fuel revenues. It has also set aside some $182 million for a mineral exploration incentive program. Saudi Arabia is home to some $2.5 trillion in untapped mineral reserves, according to government estimates, and in 2021, it launched its own annual mining conference, the Future Minerals Forum.
“Saudi Arabia is being transformed. Through this transformation we want to be an economic powerhouse,” Khalid al-Mudaifer, Saudi Arabia’s vice minister for mining, told Semafor. “To be an industrial [power], we need minerals. To build projects, we need minerals. Therefore, mining of Saudi Arabia [is] the first step, bringing minerals from outside is the second step, third step is to build Saudi Arabia as a hub.”
To execute this vision, Riyadh has focused on securing new partnerships, including by signing memorandums of understanding focused on mining with the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Egypt, Russia, the United States, and Morocco. Washington and Riyadh were reportedly in talks to purchase mining stakes in several African countries, the Wall Street Journal reported last year; Saudi Arabia is also weighing investments in Brazil and has dispatched a delegation to Argentina to discuss that country’s lithium wealth.
The UAE is also ramping up efforts to carve out a stake in the sector, including by inking a $1.9 billion mining partnership in the Democratic Republic of the Congo and securing new agreements in copper-rich Zambia. The UAE and Australia are reportedly also in talks for a free trade agreement that could see Abu Dhabi invest in Canberra’s critical minerals sector. And in nearby Qatar, Doha has taken its own initial steps by signing mining agreements with Nigeria and underscoring the importance of cooperation in the critical minerals space during talks with Washington.
Baskaran said that Abu Dhabi and Riyadh both have the means of financing their ambitions. “Both of these countries have a lot of capital to deploy in the sector,” she said. “So at a time when most Western companies are pulling back on their drilling and exploration because lithium, nickel, cobalt prices are low, these Middle Eastern countries are like, ‘I have capital to play.’”
Still, experts caution that regulatory, environmental, and investment challenges loom ahead.
“Attracting substantial international investments requires competitive fiscal terms and predictable regulations to incentivize the participation of private companies,” Hamid Pouran, a critical minerals expert at the University of Wolverhampton, wrote for the Middle East Institute. “Strict environmental and social safeguards need to be implemented to ensure ethical and sustainable mining, and enhancing energy efficiency will be critical for the energy-intensive processes involved in refining minerals and metals.”
Yet powers like Saudi Arabia also have one key advantage: their ability to work with everybody, said Bryan Bille, a policy analyst at Benchmark Mineral Intelligence.
“They’ve got more wiggle room than other players, so they can do business with Russia, China, and the U.S. at the same time,” he said. “For them, that’s a major asset.”

Does the LEED Rating System have any case studies or success stories?
Agile Advisors, a leading LEED Certification in UAE, The U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) created LEED, offering a framework for designing, constructing, operating, and sustaining buildings. This response will examine a few noteworthy instances, emphasizing the advantages and results of applying the LEED Rating System. The LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Rating System is not bound by geographical boundaries. As a globally recognized certification program, LEED provides a robust framework for high-performance green building design, construction, and operation. With distinct grading systems tailored for different nations and regions, the LEED grading System has been customized to fit global markets. For example, there are specific rating systems for LEED for Building Design and Construction (BD+C) that are designed for particular nations, such as China, India, Canada, and Brazil, among others. The LEED Rating System has effectively reached a global audience.
Tumblr media
Agile Advisors provides LEED Certification in Dubai, this adaptability ensures that LEED remains relevant and applicable in a variety of settings, incorporating local construction laws, regulations, and practices. The principles and best practices for sustainable building design and operation that are widely accepted form the foundation of LEED. It aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the United Nations, the Net Zero Carbon Buildings Commitment of the World Green Building Council, and other international standards. Because of this, LEED-certified buildings are guaranteed to meet strict environmental, social, and economic standards, which makes them highly acclaimed and globally competitive. Numerous foreign projects have effectively used LEED. As a result of its widespread acceptance and application as a green building certification program, LEED has gained a reputation, acceptance on a worldwide scale, adherence to international standards, customization, network support, and advantages to the economy and environment.
Being a LEED Certification in UAE, LEED offers a uniform structure but permits customization to suit specific local conditions. Globally, developers, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders have come to recognize and respect it. For their buildings to satisfy their environmental goals and show their dedication to sustainability, many large firms and organizations need LEED accreditation. Due to its extensive use, there is a significant global need for LEED knowledge and resources. For instance, the LEED for Neighborhood Development (LEED-ND) rating system considers a community's distinctive qualities, such as proximity to facilities, walkability, and transit alternatives. This adaptability guarantees that LEED can meet various geographical areas' unique requirements and difficulties. It is a valuable instrument for advancing sustainable development internationally because of its capacity to consider local contexts while upholding a uniform framework.
As a LEED Certification in Dubai, Project teams can receive technical assistance, training, resources, and local knowledge from these offices to help them navigate the certification process. Furthermore, the USGBC organizes worldwide conferences, events, and workshops to foster collaboration and knowledge sharing among professionals involved in green building on a global scale. Numerous advantages come with integrating LEED into foreign projects. First off, LEED-certified structures use sustainable materials, are water and energy-efficient, and have lesser environmental effects. Second, a building's marketability and worth are increased by LEED certification, drawing in purchasers, investors, and renters who respect sustainability. Thirdly, by supporting the use of regional resources, skilled labor, and environmentally friendly building techniques, LEED promotes employment creation and the growth of the green economy.
