We are squaring up for the big final fight, when Cloak suddenly shows up, bringing along the suddenly no longer dead Dagger with him.

Mad Thinker and his assistant, Primus, spy on the New Warriors and the recruits who are minding their business.

Dagger was briefly recruited as a New Warrior for one-time and she's arguing with her partner Cloak until both of them leave in a huff. Neither Cloak nor Dagger are aware that they are watched by Mad Thinker and Primus disguised as a taxi.

Speedball and Rage are having their dinner and as they leave the cafe, they are spied on by Mad Thinker and Primus who took the form as a dog.

At the apartment, Alex Power's siblings are angry with him for taking their powers without their permission when he went off to fight Sphinx. Alex retorts that he is doing this to "protect" his younger siblings from further harm but none of them buy his claims. Primus who is disguised as Stimpy T-Shirt, is overhearing the argument from the Power Siblings and then, it reports back to its master.

Richard Rider and Nita are having their fun time in the bathroom, unaware that they are watched by Primus disguised as a rubber ducky. Once they leave the bathroom, Primus morphs itself into a creepy anthromorphic rubber duck and it reports to Mad Thinker about what it had heard from the couple.

At the Crashpad headquarters, the New Warriors are discussing with each other until they are interrupted by Mad Thinker who goes on his long-winded speech on TV about their progress and how much New Warriors have grown. After Mad Thinker and Primus leave, Silhouette and Bandit leave the New Warriors for personal reasons.

Tandy walked in a hurry, she didn't want to go home, she knew the fridge would be empty and she didn't want to deal with her mother.

 Meanwhile, Tyrone was creeping through the dark alleys, all day he'd had a feeling. Tandy looked up when she heard footsteps approaching her. Her eyes met Ty's eyes, and she felt an unusual warmth begin to creep into his body as he seemed to be enveloped in shadows. 

Tandy reached out to him, and at that moment Ty knew she needed help even though they didn't know each other, they ran away together.

fav childhood movies? fav current movies?

from my childhood, i always loved ‘the parent trap’ (1998) for some reason, it’s my comfort movie, it’s just so cozy idk i love it. but i cannot remember the last time i watched it if i’m being real.

as a teenager, i really loved ‘dope’ (2015). i felt like that movie was a gem. it understood me and was just really funny.

my current favorites are (in no particular order)

rye lane (2023) lol idk i just love that movie, it made me wanna visit London and i did.

studio ghibli’s ‘whisper of the heart’ (1995). i loved it ever since i watched it when i was like 15, amazing movie.

love jones (1997) great movie love the feel of it and it has aged well because the same kind of stuff still happens today.

fantastic mr. fox (2009) i saw this movie in theaters im the summer when i was younger and i think it was the same year. it’s always had a nice charm to it and is probably my favorite wes anderson film even though i’ve only seen like 1.5 other wes anderson films lol. but yeah.

honorable mention:

they cloned tyrone (2023) man…what a fucking film, what a cast, what a story too. ahh idk i just love seeing black people band together and make a difference. aside from that, it’s so funny as well. man. i need a sequel in some way shape or form. i need it.

I realized the funny thing about Miles & Ty as a duo is that one (almost) never apologizes even when he wants to & feels bad, & the other is (nearly) always apologizing even when he's being sarcastic and not at all sorry. It's not displayed on this board, but it's something I thought about while making it.

Anyway, this is just a snippet of their dynamic board. I thought that maybe I should put up an idea of how the two interact before introducing more characters. Making these for tumblr is really hard actually lol I feel like I'm lowkey doing them a disservice but it's a skill I gotta work on I suppose. (side note, all of the text messages here are Miles on the left, Tyrone on the right)
