He is the main main character of my story currently called Letting Go. I'm trying to figure out how to share my ideas and stuff and I think this might be an okay start.
This is just a sliver of his pinterest board. I wanted to try an make a mood board and include an image of him so here we are. The image was made using Pastel Friends, a phone app.

YOUTH.   𝐢𝐬𝐧’𝐭   𝐢𝐭   𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭   𝐦𝐨𝐬𝐭   𝐨𝐟   𝐮𝐬   𝐚𝐫𝐞   𝐲𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠   𝐟𝐨𝐫  ?  oh  all  the  things  we  could  give  to  be  young  again,  to  feel  young  again.  what  is  youth  ?  is  it  about  what  you  see  on  the  mirrors  that  reflect  you  or  is  youth  a  sensation  ?  and  what  would  you  do  if   you  could  feel  it  all  again  ?  in  a  different  scenario,  in  a  reality  that  has  never  been  real.
hello  everyone,  here  comes  our  next  task  !  but  this  one  is  a  bit  more  significant  compared  to  the  others  as  we  will  have  this  one  as  a  preparation  for  a  future  event.  yes,  you  heard  it  right  !  a  future  event  !  let  us  present  you,  our  next  planned  event.  AGNES  GOES  TWENTY.  an  au  event  in  which  our  muses  will  be  back  in  their  20s.  this  is  an  au  event  hence  it  is  going  to  be  an  alternative  universe  and  none  of  the  events  of  this  au  will  affect  our  main  storyline.  we  have  thought  of  the  possibility  of  some  muns  not  wanting  to  participate,  that’s  why  non-au  threads  may  be  allowed  throughout  the  au  event  (  the  final  decision  will  be  made  upon  the  poll  over  discord  chat  ).  well,  if  i  get  the  drum  rolls,  it’s  time  to  explain  how  this  au  will  work  !
AGNES  GOES  TWENTY  :    a  planned  au  event  that  will  take  two  weeks  ooc.  during  this  au  week,  all  your  muses  will  be  back  in  their  twenties,  but  this  time,  they  are  living  their  days  of  adolescence  in  islesbury  alongside  every  other  muse  in  agnesfm  !  more  details  will  be  revealed  on  event  post  itself.
HOW  TO  PREPARE  (  AKA  THE  TASK  !  )  :  we  just  need  you  to  answer  the  following  parts,  no  depth  needed  for  part  two,  just  give  us  the  most  important  parts  !
who  will  your  muse’s  younger  fc  be  ?  note:  this  will  be  the  fc  you  are  going  to  use  during  the  au  week,  choose  wisely  !
for  this  au,  your  muse  will  be  living  in  islesbury  or  will  be  around  islesbury  for  the  time  being,  that  might  cause  drastic  changes  for  your  muses’  backstory  so  if there  are  any  drastic  changes,  let us know  by  writing  a  little  blurb  as  your  answer  to  this  part    ! ( OPTIONAL )
FAQ !
my  muse  spent  their  youth  somewhere  else  other  than  islesbury,  what  do  i  do  ?
we  ask  you  to  create  an  au  version  of  your  muses’  background  in  which  your  muse  will  be  residing in/around  islesbury  during  their  twenties.  it  doesn’t  have  to  be  anything  fully  fleshed  out  as  this  is  just  an  au  event  !  whatever  happens  in  au  event,  stays  in  the  au  event  &  has  no  effect  to  your  muses’  main  storyline.
my  muse  already  spent  their  youth  in  islesbury,  is  that  a  problem  ?
not  at  all,  that  means  you  do  not  need  to  change  anything  about  your  muse’s  past  (  but  you  can  if  you  wish  so  because  this  is  an  au  event,  nothing  that  happens  here  will  affect  agnesfm’s  original  story  )
are   we   rewinding  to  a  specific  time  ?
no,  it's  going  to  be  the  year  of  2021  with  the  only  change  being  our  muses  are  in  their  20s  !
after you post your task, your fcs will be listed under. please do not forget to use tags #agnesfm.task & #agnesfm.task03 to tag your posts !

TRANSLITERATION (ORIGINAL LYRICS)
Memento Homo Quia pulvis es, Et in pulverem reverteris.

I want to die in your gaze I want to die and wake up And to have you by my side, love Without you I can't be I want to be able to recover All the dreams I sold By handfuls of progress I lost my freedom There are times I don't know If you squeeze the sun To feel warm. For thousands of years, human beings We were able to enjoy, the best gift That the gods would never give to any living thing. The breeze, the wind, brother Sun and Sister Moon Fields and meadows to watch our children grow Scented sunrises sneezing flowers in spring Sunsets decorated by dreams yet to be conceived. And even if it sounds like a lie... intelligence But the white man despised that treasure And as life smiled at him, He answered by kicking fate. If anyone reads this letter, do not forget that the end of this civilization It was due to the selfishness, greed and inculturation of the human race. Men are no longer mammals The human being did not become a predator The human race we are simply a virus We kill, we grow, and we multiply. That's why we're extinct. That's why the waters swallowed up our civilization The real Atlantis, it was US And that's why we wrote this note For future intelligent life forms. When men spit on the ground… ... spit on themselves

Robb - “I’ve missed this.”
Like Father Like Daughter
Selene Kenobi watches her daughter grow up and forge her own path.  More technical character study than anything but who’s really paying attention anyway.
Selene knew the moment she had found out she was expecting that her and Obi-Wan’s child was due for a lonely life. The Jedi were in the throes of recovery. There had been barely a handful left after the Purge. Not only that, but Obi-Wan had felt responsible for the Twins’ safety. She knew Obi-Wan trusted Bail with his life but knew next to nothing about the Lars, so she knew wherever Luke was, they would never be far behind. But most of Tatooine was just next to no life. It was perfect for their exile, their rebuilding from the shadows. But it wouldn’t be much of a life for a child.
Still, they made do. Once little Raza was born - their little hope, the first years of her life had gone smoothly, but mostly because she didn’t know any better.
Raza was full of life, delighted at anything and was eager to learn anything and everything from her parents. Anywhere they went, she would follow.
She was barely six when Obi-Wan suggested that they should see where she stood with the Force. They had sought out Yoda then, and after a few tests, she was found to be Sensitive - though Yoda was weary of proceeding with actual training.
Obi-Wan could barely blame him. He had taken after Qui-Gonn then, promising that he’d keep her on the right path, he wouldn’t fail, but he wouldn’t push, either.
Selene had wondered if it was a dangerous line for him to walk, but he had a point, and the Jedi needed to survive, so she had gone with it.
And so they had trained her in the ways of the Force. One of Selene’s fondest memories was watching Obi-Wan weave part of the girl’s hair into a braid behind her ear ‘just like old times.’ Raza had been delighted, beaming away, and wore the braid with pride. But time changed all things. She had developed some skill, but whereas Anakin had the desire to learn, Raza had the desire to branch out and try other things- that were decidedly not the Force. She was often distracted and would much rather spend her time watching wildlife run around than do any more Jedi studies.
It was the Summer of her tenth birthday that she had met Luke and his friend Biggs. Selene and Obi-Wan had been torn about it. They wanted her to make friends, needed her to make friends, but that particular friendship was complicated at best.
Once had gone off to play with Luke and Biggs once and had ended up catching Obi-Wan’s uneasy look, and then when he had instructed her to stay home for the day, she had pouted, going out of her way to make sure he saw her doing it.
And Obi-Wan, ever wrapped around her finger, had relented at that and told her to go play with them. The rules were simple:  play with them, be their friend, but no Force.
She had agreed to that, and stuck to her word.
Until Fate had other plans when the trio were fifteen years old. On one of their usual adventures they had gotten close to a wraid nest and one had come after them. Raza had jumped between it and her friends, thrust out her hand and had tried to quiet its temper. It had worked, but it had been such a shift in energy her parents had sensed it a mile away - literally.
They had sat her down and explained things that next night after being assured that Luke and Biggs had just written it off as her usual skill with having a way with animals. They had explained things then… within reason. Luke was the child of an ‘old friend’ who had gotten too close to the Dark Side, they were there to keep an eye on him and look after him from a distance. She had been skeptical, but felt used, but thankfully after they had promised her finding him had been completely by chance, she had accepted it, and agreed to be sworn to secrecy about knowing the details.
And she had stuck to her word.
A couple of years passed, and Biggs had left Luke and Raza for greener pastures. Luke had withdrawn from her after that, and it had clearly hurt Raza. She had been outright depressed for a while, but managed to pull herself out of it. She chose to throw herself back into Jedi training to distract herself.
Another year passed. One day, Selene had been surprised to find Luke trailing behind Obi-Wan, and once she had heard him babbling about, ‘Obi-Wan, I thought your name was Ben’, ‘Resistance’, ‘only hope’, she had known things were about to change. Obi-Wan had glanced up at her, and she had stood and left the house to give them the room for whatever tale he was about to weave for the young man. She had called Raza to her side, and they waited.
Hours later, they had seen a fire rising up from the Lars’ homestead sometime hours after that, and Selene knew things had gone far from ‘changing’ - they  wouldn’t be the same.
When Obi-Wan had returned with an utterly-defeated looking Luke in tow, Raza, ever the bleeding heart, even after everything he had done to her in the last year, had gotten up and locked Luke into a tight hug. No words were exchanged at all, but Luke had held on for dear life for a while.
That night,  Obi-Wan had gone over more details about the Jedi for Luke - and had decided to honor Luke’s request to become one.
The next day, Obi-Wan had said his goodbyes to them, saying that he would be back soon. But even Selene could hear that he wasn’t certain. And it killed her inside knowing that the blind optimism was probably for her and Raza’s benefit.
Weeks passed. The Force had been restless, keeping her awake, and then suddenly there was horrible, horrible pain in her gut, and then heart, and she knew Obi-Wan wasn’t coming home from their mission.
Worse yet, Raza had felt it too. For a girl content with just being adept with the Force, whose skills were affected by that mindset, the Force Bond between father and daughter being ripped away had been brutal for her. It had knocked her to her knees, and she had sobbed, a mix of both understanding and confusion.
She had barely left her room for days after that. She only if it was necessary - or she had heard her mother mourning and come to check on her.
Later, Luke had returned to Tatooine a hero of the galaxy. He had gone to their house, shown up at their door, and upon seeing Raza he immediately pulled her into a hug, just as she did for him what felt like ages ago.
Witnessing the act was a small comfort in all the madness. The first night they had met Luke, Obi-Wan had told her he believed in Luke’s heart more than he ever did with Anakin. Yes, they had practically raised Anakin together, but he felt that Luke could be better, would be better - and that put a Hell of a lot of weight into that idea.
Luke had told them that he was going to find Yoda after that. Once he had learned that Raza had also been trained in the Force, he had been ecstatic and just short of begged her to go to Dagobah with him to train in the ways of the Force.
Selene had been skeptical about that. She had known Yoda had taken his own new life as a hermit living in the middle of nowhere a little too seriously, but she had kept her mouth shut. It was time for Raza to carve out her own path.
Still, when Raza had declined the offer, choosing to stay on Tatooine- with her, she was conflicted.
Shortly after, they moved a few hours away to the outskirts of a mining town. There had been rumors of the Empire hunting down the remnants of the Jedi, and if they were true, being outside a major city wouldn’t do them any favors. Mos Pelgo, however, had been perfect. It was brand new, not even on the map, there was a population of about twenty at the time, though it was due to change. She had still urged Raza to leave and put some distance between them. She had claimed it was safer- and it was, but she had refused again.
And so another year passed. Raza had started off as dreadfully lonely as she had felt at age seventeen But one day, she came home with a spring in her step and a smile on her face, and it almost moved Selene to tears then and there. She hadn’t seen the girl smile that big since Obi-Wan’s departure. That night she had sat with her mother, talking on and on about how she had met a few people in town; two in particular, a human, Cobb Vanth, and a Weequay, Baer, who had apparently liked her enough to offer her a job as a hostess in the cantina in town on the spot.
Selene had been skeptical about what sort of people that would expose Raza to, but seeing her daughter happy had won out, and she had let it happen without saying anything.
A couple of more years passed. Raza had spent less time home and more time at the cantina, but as a mother Selene couldn’t not notice how many times Cobb’s name came up and the sort of affection Raza would say his name with. She had met the man once or twice in town, and well, she’d be lying if she said she didn’t understand the appeal. He was attractive, charming, had an easy smile, and from small talk around town she knew he was kind, always put others first, often checked in on older or worse-off people, had his share of bad jokes. He had even called in a favor to get Raza her own place in town which gave her the independence that Selene wanted for her so badly. Obi-Wan would’ve liked him, she realized one day as she sat in the corner in the bar, watching silently as Cobb animatedly told a story to Baer and Raza, who were utterly enraptured with it. They would’ve gotten along. A few minutes later, someone had put some song on the jukebox and Cobb had all but dragged Raza to the dance floor, very loudly ignoring her shrieks of half-hearted protest before she relented and let him pull her in for a dance. Well, maybe Obi-Wan wouldn’t have been too thrilled that he was evidently moving in on his little girl, but still, he was decent enough he might have gotten a pass.
But like everything else, that had been bound to end in trouble, too.  Try as she might to hide it from Raza, Selene had never quite been the same since Obi-Wan’s death. She was getting old and their Force Bond being broken had affected her just as much as it had Raza. On a particularly bad day she had been nearly bedridden, and Raza had come up to help her.
It was that night that The Mining Collective had shown up and decimated the town, and enslaved the residents with it.
They had seen it happen from the distant safety of their home, and realizing that intervening would’ve left them vastly outnumbered, they had to stay put. Raza had been a wreck all over again, and she hurt for her. How many times would she watch the people she cared about getting pried from her.
More months passed. It was all but impossible keeping a low profile against the Collective. Using some Jedi tricks, she and Raza had managed to make it seem like their home was abandoned, and it had worked out well.
Until one day when there was a rough knock on the door one night. Raza had all but shoved her out of the entry room to keep at least a couple of doors between her and the visitor, and gone out to face the stranger.
The visitor had been Cobb, weak and half dead. Raza had helped him get into the house, and after he had murmured something about it, Selene retrieved the armor he had motioned at, pretending to not notice that it was Mandalorian armor and that raised way too many questions. She had walked back into the house to find that she had interrupted the pair caught up in each others space, forehead to forehead, just holding each other- it was intimate - far too intimate for just friends as Raza had insisted so many times. Still,  it felt all sorts of wrong bearing witness to whatever it was, so she had slipped away as quietly as possible.
Cobb’s recovery had been touch and go for a couple of days. Raza hadn’t left his side for long, nor he hers. And she finally, finally got to see why Raza and him had the talk of the town for nearly two years, and her suspicions from the other day about just what they were to each other increased tenfold. Even half dead, the man looked at her with a fondness that made her own heart ache.
It wasn’t until late one night when Cobb was out cold that maternal instinct finally took over and she couldn’t not say anything any longer. “I missed this, you know.”
Raza looked up at her and frowned. “What?”
“You. Smiling. Being very happy,” Selene replied, she crossed the room to stand beside her. “Your dear friend Cobb have anything to do with that? Is something going on here?”
Raza huffed “No.”
“Handsome man drops into my daughter’s arms after escaping slavers, first thing out of his mouth isn’t asking for shelter, it’s informing you he thought you were dead, no, nothing to read into here at all.”
“He technically didn’t ask for shelter, it was implied. Basically the same time he asked about me, considering he fell right before.”
“Mm-hm.”
“Mother. We’re friends.”
“Oh, yes. Friends. All my friends looked at me like that.”
“M-”
“Darling, if any of my friends looked at me like that, you wouldn’t have existed.”
“Mother!”
“What? I wasn’t your father’s first choice either, you know. Close second, but second all the same. That went to our friend Siri. But you? You don’t have to worry about that. That man probably only sees you in a room full of people. He’s a little more grey than I would’ve liked for you, but that could just be life on Tatooine - and the last few months in that… horrible place. Besides, if I recall, Leia and that Han aren’t that far off from you two.”
“Mother.”
“I can hear my title just fine, dear. No need repeating it so much.”
Raza shot her a look.
Selene laughed, then reached up and tucked a strand of golden brown hair behind Raza’s ear. “It’s just been so long since I’ve seen you happy, Raza. I’ve missed it so much, missed that little smile. I’d be grateful to anyone who brought that back.”
Raza opened her mouth, floundered for a moment, then shut it and promptly left the room.
It made her the first time she had flirted Obi-Wan. He had floundered and retreated the exact same way. It was almost fitting.
A day later, Cobb had wandered over to the armor he had brought by after ‘remembering something’ and had returned with a cylinder wrapped up in some cloth.  He had handed it over to her, citing had ‘found it next to the armor’ and it ‘reminded her of ‘that one conversation we had’ and ‘just in case, I figured it might come in handy for that’- whatever that meant.
She got her answer when Raza had started to unwrap it.
It was a lightsaber, which came with initial mixed feelings.  While that was almost guaranteed to mean that the Jedi currently missing it was most likely dead, it also meant that Raza had trusted Cobb enough with their Jedi secret, and he hadn’t sold them out.
And then her heart skipped a beat when Raza finished unwrapping the sword and the cloth fell away.
It wasn’t just any lightsaber. It was Obi-Wan’s. She didn’t understand how or why it could’ve come to Jawas on Tatooine, but she would recognize it anywhere.
And judging by Raza’s face, she had recognized it too.
Tears had sprung to her eyes nearly immediately, and Cobb, the poor man had looked panicked for a couple of moments, fearing that he had somehow messed up and offended her because of something he didn’t understand, but then Raza launched herself into his arms, nearly knocking the pair of them off balance and all but sobbing ‘thank you’ into his shoulder. He had held her against him and let it happen, looking quite lost for a moment until Raza had repeated ‘it’s my father’s’ a few times, and realization and then understanding crossed his face and he held her closer. He looked up at Selene then, keeping up his reputation on making sure everyone was okay, and she offered a grateful, tearful nod of her own.
She had left them alone again, figuring they had earned it again. If they weren’t anything yet, she was almost certain they were on the path.
Of course, the pair of them did absolutely nothing to quell Selene’s assumptions.
They had taken to sparring to check out the armor and looked far too comfortable standing that close to each other and being extremely hands on.
One night they had gone outside, reporting that they were going to check out any potential shift change patterns in the Collective’s ranks. They had tucked themselves just outside the house, where they could see into the valley below but if the Collective had scouts they could easily duck out of sight. Selene She had gone to poke her head out to offer them a drink, only to catch them talking quietly. The set of binoculars they had been sharing had been set aside between them, temporarily forgotten in favor of whatever the talk was. They were leaning close, almost touching foreheads again- but this time there was that loaded moment, and Cobb leaned forward further, going in for a kiss- and she had ducked her head at the last second, but hadn’t moved to entirely pull away either. She was dimly aware they were talking again as she made it inside. Maybe she had been wrong after all.
The next morning she had found them still outside, sleeping. Raza was curled against him and he was leaned into her, so whatever had transpired after that failed attempt at a kiss couldn’t have been that terrible.
Maybe she was right. Regardless, they were worse with subtlety than Anakin and Padme.
Another few days passed until Cobb had announced he was ready enough to go after the Mining Collective, and he and Raza had gone looking for a fight - and had won said fight a mere couple of hours later.
The weeks following that had gone by quickly. It was… strange, watching everybody realize they had been freed, that they had won. And before long,  slowly but surely the town returned to something vaguely resembling normalcy.
Still, her daughter being one of the two town heroes was a nice touch. Obi-Wan would’ve been delighted- was delighted. She could feel that much. Especially when being the town heroes ended with them essentially being handed leadership roles. Whenever someone needed something done, the town went to them for it. And after a rocky start, they had settled into the roles nicely.
The little quiet lonely girl she had raised was finally an outgoing powerhouse of a woman, and Selene couldn’t have been prouder.
Years ticked by like that.  Her daughter was consistently happy, her friends had been returned to her and were staying in place, a little worse for wear but getting better with time. There was always a looming threat of raiders or Tuskens, but that was just Tatooine in general. It was commonplace.
She still didn’t know why Raza and Cobb still kept dancing around each other, though. Always standing close, always touching, leading the place together- there was a stint where they even lived together for a stretch when the krayt dragon had taken out Cobb’s house out of commission during a hunt- but still never managed to proceed from there. She had lost track of how many busybodies in town asked how long the pair had been married.
Of course, because there was never a dull moment in their lives, it took the arrival of an actual Mandalorian to finally, finally do the trick and get the ball rolling. Things had been off to a rocky start, considering the Mandalorian’s solution to killing the creature was teaming up with Sand People. Selene and Raza had dealt with them in the past so they knew what to expect, and a couple of the People themselves had recognized them from previous dealings with their family and stuck close by, distrustful of the other Mos Pelgo residents- not that the feeling wasn’t mutual, and Cobb was at the top of that particular list. He had insisted they should stay with him for the night ‘so they weren’t potentially caught unawares, Jedi skills or not’, and refused to take no for an answer. The following morning, most of the town had gone after the Krayt, Cobb and the Mandalorian included, and Raza had stayed behind to hold down the Fort and keep the peace. Another couple of days had gone by, and there had been news across a few communicators that the Mandalorian had killed the Krayt. A few of the residents had piled into speeders to go investigate and help out where they were needed, and Raza had been among them.
She and Cobb had been one of the last groups to return after nightfall. Selene had seen a few of the others returning with their group, giggling amongst themselves and looking back at the pair every few seconds before going on their way. She had been concerned, protective, even, until she looked back at Raza and Cobb, who were just outside his house, just in time to see the former lean up to kiss the latter goodnight.
Well, wasn’t that interesting. She had pretended to look busy for a while and wandered by Raza’s house until she had spotted her daughter returning home. She had offered a knowing smile then, and her daughter had gone red. “So, it takes a krayt dragon’s meddling to get that man to sort out his priorities, hm?”
“Mother,” was Raza’s chosen reply, just as it had been those years ago.
“It took at least three near-death experiences to get your father to prioritize, you know. Now come on, you’re not getting out of not telling me anything about this.”
Raza had given her that same mocking tired look that Obi-Wan had given her so many times in their youth, though she had relented and moved aside to let her into the house - just like he did back then, too, letting her win whatever argument it was just to make her stop.
She had missed that, too.

Something So Precious About This
Tumblr media
Summary: While Sebastian is away in Paris filming, Corinne gets hit with one pretty crazy idea.
Pairing: Sebastian Stan x OFC Corinne Winters-Stan
Word Count: 5.6k
Warnings/Rating: 18+. Hella smut, yo
A/N: The bitch is back! I missed writing these two and this story hit me like a train. I’m super late editing and posting it, but I finally got it done. It’s the longest story I’ve ever written as a one shot and I’m not even a little sorry. Obviously, it’s about when Seb was in Paris shooting ‘355′. Enjoy!

“Good morning, printesă.” Sebastian whispered over Facetime.
“It’s still nighttime here, but good morning, handsome.” I chuckled, batting my lashes.
“Mmm, I miss you. I miss kissing your forehead. I miss holding your hand and listening to you sing along to the radio while I drive. And right now, I really miss the way you tug my hair while…” Seb teased before Evie walked in to my room.
“Tătic?” She said innocently with a smile.
“Hey, raza de soare. How are you?” He asked with a loving smile. I patted the bed beside me she sat down, her smile wild as she laid eyes on him.
“Mi-e dor de tine.” She whispered and looked at him. I miss you.
“Si mie mi-e dor de tine.” He replied, blowing her a kiss. I miss you too.
“How long until you come back?” Evie asked.
“I just started filming, darling.” He answered quietly.
“I know. I just miss you.” Our daughter mumbled, tears welling in her eyes. “I could really use one of your hugs.” She added as she leaned into me.
“What’s wrong, my sun?” Seb asked, his face riddled with concern.
“Elena and I had a big fight. She said we needed to take a break. I really miss her, dad.” Evie mumbled through tears, her body trembling. I held her close and rubbed her back gently.
“Oh, honey. I’m so sorry. I wish I was there to hug you.” Sebastian murmured, his lip quivering slightly.
“I wish you were too.” Evie whimpered before blowing him a kiss. “Te iubesc, tătic.” She added with a weak smile before walking back to her room.
“I feel awful. I really want to comfort her more than I can, regina mea.” My husband told me, his blue-grey eyes heavy.
“I know, love.” I cooed before an idea popped in my head. “You need to get some work done, my love. I need some sleep. I love you.” I told him with a feigned sleepy smile while the wheels in my head spun a million miles an hour.
“I love you too, Rin. I’ll talk to you later?” H e asked, his smile wide. That charming, blinding smile that could melt anyone’s heart.
“Yes, you will I love you.” I chuckled and hung up before grabbing my laptop.
Hours passed and I had been able to book us a last minute flight to Paris to surprise Sebastian. I packed most of my own clothes before I went and woke Evie up.
“Hey. I did something a little crazy, but I know you’ll love it. We’re going to Paris to see your dad.” I told her as she sat up in bed, her eyes wide with excitement.
“Really?!” She jumped up and hugged me.
“Yep. Now, I have to go wake your brother up. Go ahead and start packing. We leave for the airport in an hour and a half.” I told her and kissed the top of her head before sneaking into Aiden’s room.
“Hey, buddy. It’s time to wake up. You need to get ready.” I whispered and moved his hair away from his eyes gently.
“Mmmph. Don’t wanna.” He mumbled and grabbed his covers.
“We’re going to see dad.” I crooned and moved his covers. “And I’ll buy you breakfast on the plane.” I added and scratched his neck.
“Why are we up so early?” Aiden muttered and got out of bed as I started packing his things.
“We’re going to Paris. You can’t spend your entire summer break in New York.” I explained and grabbed his favorite t-shirt.
“Plus Dad is in Paris and mom misses him.” Evie called out with a chuckle.
“That too. He’ll be so surprised to see us.” I laughed and kissed my son’s forehead.
“But did you have to wake us up so early?” Aiden yawned.
“You’ll have about seven hours to sleep on the way there.” I told him before going to pack the rest of my things. I grabbed my garment bag and packed a couple of dresses, including a brilliant light blue dress Charlie just finished designing for me. It was perfect for a romantic dinner in Paris. I grabbed my phone as it started ringing, Charlie’s picture popping up.
“Where are you jetting off to this time?” She asked. I could hear the way her eyebrow raised as she asked the question.
“Paris.” I stated in the most matter of fact tone I could manage.
“Why in the hell are you going to Paris?” She raised her voice and asked me.
“I miss my husband and I’ve never been to Paris. And neither have the kids. It’s something new.” I explained and grabbed my bathing suit.
“Alright.” My sister sighed and hung up the phone, undoubtedly rubbing her temples.
“You guys ready? Our flight leaves in a couple hours!” I called out, grabbing our passports and carrying my bags downstairs.
“Coming!” Evie yelled as she came downstairs, going to load her bag in the car.
“Aiden! Come on! We gotta get going!” I shouted.
“Coming! I had to make sure the script I’m working on was in my bag.” He said, dragging his bag behind him.
“Good. Let’s get going.” I smiled and hugged him before locking the door behind us.
We packed up the car and the kids sang along to the music I played. I smiled as one of Jeremy’s new songs came on, listening to ‘Nomad’ as Evie and Aiden talked about their plans for Paris.
“Wait. Is this Uncle Jer?” Aiden asked, looking at me from the backseat.
“It is. Should we tell him how good it is when we get back?” I replied with a wink.
“Definitely.” My son chuckled and smiled.
It wasn’t long until I drove up to the airport and found my sister and her husband waiting for me. Kevin helped get our bags out of the trunk as I hugged my sister.
“You have no idea how much I appreciate this.” I told Charlie with a smile.
“Who am I to stand in the way of a woman in love? Especially when that woman is my sister?” She chuckled and nudged me. “Call us when you get back so we can come get you.” She added before kissing my cheek.
“I will. I love you.” I said and kissed her cheek before Evie, Aiden, and I walked toward the airport.
We checked in for our flight and boarded, Evie and Aiden sitting in the aisle beside me. I shut off my phone as one of the flight attendants went through the safety lecture. We finally took off, Aiden falling asleep moments afterward.
Once we got the clear to wear headphones and move around, my daughter grabbed her headphones, either choosing to listen to her Romanian lessons or watch a movie. I curled into my seat with my phone, deciding to watch ‘The Umbrella Academy’. Again.
I looked over to my son and daughter sitting beside each other. One fast asleep, curled under the soft, plush purple blanket his sister brought in her bag. My sister was watching a movie as her brother rested his head on her shoulder. I smiled as a text from Sebastian came up.
What are you doing, printesă? His text read.
Watching ‘The Umbrella Academy’. Again. I tapped out and hit send.
Anything else? The response came quickly and included the smiling devil emoji.
No and I don’t plan on doing anything else. Go work.
I miss you. Please?
I miss you too. But you’ll see me again before you know it. I sent the response and smiled.
“You have a smile like you’ve done something crazy.” The flight attendant said as she walked past.
“Something like, oh, buying last minute plane tickets for myself and my kids so we can spend time with my actor husband in Paris?” I replied with a cheeky smile.
“Exactly like that.” She chuckled and walked away.
Time seems to drag on until the pilot announced our descent into Charles de Gaulle. Evie nudged her brother awake before packing his blanket and her things. I sat up and buckled back in, my legs bouncing in excitement. We got off the plane and collected all of our bags before hailing a taxi to our hotel.
“Oh my God! This place is absolutely amazing! The view is perfect.” Aiden awed as he looked over the Paris skyline.
“Evie, your room is right next door. Don’t get on each other’s nerves.” I told them as I went to my room and got in the shower. When we landed, I’d texted Sebastian’s PA to ask where they were in the city to film. He texted me back and after I showered, I did my makeup and put on his favorite pair of jeans and shirt combination, sure he’d be able to spot me.
I headed out to the location, smiling as I spotted him with Jessica Chastain. He looked absolutely radiant. France was treating him beautifully. He was just…perfect. I noticed a stop in filming as he took pictures, making this the perfect opportunity. I hid myself in the crowd and disguised my voice as I called out his name. I managed to get behind him and ask for a picture, still disguising my voice.
“Absolutely. What’s your na…” He started before he fully saw me. I smiled as he looked me over and shook his head to make sure I was real.
“I told you you’d see me again before you knew it.” I chuckled before he picked me up and kissed me. Everyone clapped and cheered at our reunion. Sebastian held me close, his tears hitting my neck like rain.
“I missed you so much.” He whispered against my lips. His hands cupped my face he looked into my eyes. “I missed those eyes. And that smile.” He cooed, peppering my neck and face with kisses.
“I missed you too, my love. I brought a couple other people with me.” I winked as I felt Evie tap my shoulder. I moved out of the way to let him see the kids.
“Surprise, tătic!” Evie shouted and flew into his arms. He caught her and laughed, smiling as they embraced. He set her down and kissed her forehead before he hugged Aiden, both of them beaming.
“Hey, dude. How have you been?” Seb asked after they pulled away from each other.
“Good. I started writing a script.” Aiden told his father with a wide grin.
“That’s amazing! I can’t wait to read it!” My husband laughed as they walked back over to me. Seb wrapped his arm around my waist as we started walking.
“Jessica! I have some people I want you to meet!” Sebastian called out to his co-star as she talked to one of the crew members. She walked over to us, smiling an almost blinding smile.
“You must be Corinne! Sebastian said you were stunning and he hyped you up so much. You don’t disappoint.” She chuckled before introducing herself to Evie and Aiden.
“I absolutely loved you in ‘Crimson Peak.” Aiden gushed, his eyes open wide.
“Really? I thought everyone hated my character.” She joked and smiled.
“Well, that’s what made it perfect. You were phenomenal. The way you portrayed Lucille was so amazing to me.” Aiden added, his cheeks beet red.
“I think your son has a crush on your co-star.” I muttered to Sebastian with a chuckle.
“Oh, no, That’s ‘our’ son.” He whispered and kissed my neck. “I can’t wait until we finish filming for the day. The night I have planned with you.” He crooned and bit at my earlobe gently.
“Not a chance. Tonight, we’re doing a family dinner and we’re all going to get some rest.” I told him with a smirk.
“When do I get to spend time with my wife?” He asked with a pout.
“Tomorrow. You and I are going to a romantic dinner. Fancy clothes, candles. All of it. Just the two of us.” I whispered back and pecked his cheek gently. “You need to go get back to work. We’ll meet up with you when you’re done.” I told him as I motioned for the kids to come over, Jessica following them.
“We’ve stopped you guys from working long enough. We really should get going before we have dinner tonight.” I said, smiling at Jessica.
“You guys are welcome to stay and watch us film.” Jessica commented as the kids hugged Sebastian.
“AS tempting as that sounds, we really do need rest. This trip was super last minute and I know we’re all tired.” I replied with a smile. “We’re going to dinner when you’re done for the day. I texted you the address to the hotel.” I explained and kissed Sebastian before walking away.
Time passed and I almost missed the call from Sebastian because of how much sleep I got. The phone rang and I didn’t register the ringtone. I finally woke up and answered the phone, rushing to get ready. I met Evie, Aiden, and Sebastian in the lobby of the hotel. We started walking, Sebastian wrapping his hand in mind. I smiled as he walked on the side closest to the street, something he’d learned from someone I might never know.
“I really missed you, Rin.” He crooned as we went up to a café and waited to be seated.
“I missed you too, Sebby. I hardly got any sleep after I got off the phone with you because I was so excited when the idea popped in my head.” I told him. “Also, I think this means I love you more than you love me.” I whispered with a chuckle.
“No way. I definitely love you more.” He retorted with a kiss to my temple.
“We’ll call it a draw.” I mused and kissed him.
Dinner with all four of us around a table felt wonderful. My heart was overflowing as I watched Sebastian talk to the kids. Even after the adoption was official, I still got butterflies seeing him our children.
“I really like your hair like that, raza de soare.” He commented on Evie’s new haircut.
“Thanks, tătic.” Our daughter smiled, a soft blush rising in her cheeks.
“I wanna hear more about this script you’re working on, Aiden.” I said and smiled at my son.
“Well, the school is having a competition. You write a script and they pick one to be performed at the end of the school year.” Aiden explained.
“That’s awesome! Do you have any idea what it’s about yet?” Seb asked, beaming with pride.
“Not yet. I’m still in the drafting stages. Which reminds me…” Aiden started before turning to his sister. “I’m actually basing a character on you, Eves. If my play gets chosen, will you at least audition?” He asked with a nervous smile.
“WHEN your play gets chosen, I will definitely audition.” She told him, pulling him into a hug.
“Wow, your kids are adorable.” Seb whispered to me as he watched them.
“Oh no, those are our kids.” I chuckled and ran my fingers through his hair.
We finished dinner, all of us smiling and laughing. Sebastian walked us back to our hotel, going up to our rooms to wish us goodnight. He stopped with me in front of my room, kissing me heavily.
“Rin, please.” He moaned against my lips.
“Tomorrow. Charlie made me a new dress and I want to look especially good for you.” I cooed and kissed him a final time. “Goodnight, Sebastian.” I purred and went into my room, leaning against the closed door.
“Just like when we first started dating. Such a tease.” I heard him huff as he walked away.
The next morning came around and I woke up to a good morning text from Seb and a text from Evie letting me know that she was going sight-seeing. I knocked on Aiden’s door, surprised to see him up and dressed.
“Hey, mom. I was just getting ready to meet Evie for lunch. You wanna come?” He asked, his hazel eyes glistening.
“No, you go on ahead. Don’t get into any trouble and be safe. And text every once in a while, but don’t worry if I don’t answer.” I told him and patted his cheek.
“We’ll be careful. I love you, mom.” He chuckled and kissed my cheek.
“I love you too.” I called after him as he walked away before going back to my room.
I pulled up my ‘getting ready’ playlist and ran a hot bath before sliding into the tub and propping my head against the wall. I sang along to the music as I washed my body and shaved before washing my hair. AS I stepped out of the tub, my phone started ringing. I noticed Sebastian’s picture and smiled, answering and putting the call on speaker.
“Hello?” I said as I started towel drying my hair.
“Hello, beautiful. What are you doing?” He asked.
“Primping for our date tonight. I just got out of the tub.” I replied and put lotion on my legs and arms.
“Ah. One of those long baths?” He chuckled.
“Always. How else am I supposed to look stunning for you?” I cooed.
“Well, I called to let you know that I found the perfect place for our date, but you need a really nice dress.” He told me. I could hear the way he bit his lip.
“You worry about yourself. I’ve got me covered. You have no idea what you’re in for.” I quipped and started curling my hair.
“Reservation is at six, so I’ll send a car around five-thirty.” He told me, that hint of dominance in his voice sending shivers down my spine.
“Perfect. Be on time and be prepared to pick your jaw up off the floor.” I laughed, lightly spritzing my hair with hairspray.
“I love you.” Seb cooed.
“I love you most.” I purred before hanging up and starting my makeup.
I finished getting ready and slipped into my dress, silently thanking Charlie for putting the zipper on the side of the dress. I slipped into my heels just as I got a text from Sebastian that the car would be there in a couple minutes. I grabbed my clutch and responded to a check in text from Evie before I head to the lobby to wait on the car. I found it waiting for me and climbed in, carefully taking my dress with me. The driver smiled in the rearview mirror as I fiddled with my rings.
“Tu est trés jolie, madame.” He said with a kind smile.
“Merci boucoup.” I replied graciously.
We pulled up to the restaurant and my driver helped out of the car with a smile. I walked in, scanning the packed dining room for my husband. After a few moments, I walked up to the maître d, intent on asking if he’d arrived.
“Ah, you must be Mrs. Stan?” She said with a heavy accent, eliciting a nod from me. “You husband said that you would be coming and to find a woman matching your description. Follow me.” She added with a wave of her hand.
We wended our way through crowds and tables, moving swiftly. This place was perfect for a romantic dinner. Then I spotted him. His eyes lit up a room, pairing beautifully with the navy suit he’d chosen. Thank God for Hugo Boss. He was talking to a waitress, causing him not to see that I was waving at him. I thank the maître d for bringing me this far before walking toward the table slowly, my head held high. My dress flowed behind me and I watched as the waitress walked away, almost on cue.
“My, my. Your wife certainly is a very lucky woman.” I cooed as I came closer. Sebastian turned to face me, standing up to take in the full look I’d put together for tonight. I smiled as his jaw dropped and he covered his mouth in excitement.
“You look handsome, my love.” I murmured and grabbed his hand, kissing his wedding ring gently.
“You look…stunning. And even that is an understatement, regina mea.” He whispered before kissing me. After the kiss broke, he pulled my chair out and helped me sit.
“Thank you.” I whispered as his fingers brushed the back of my neck before he sat down across from me. “I originally planned to wear this dress to a premiere, but I couldn’t help myself.” I told him after taking a sip of my wine.
“You could still wear it to a premiere. These masterpieces that Charlie makes you should be seen by the world.” Seb crooned.
“But only you get to take them off. And I can’t wait for you to take this off tonight.” I purred with a wink.
“Cheeky little fox.” He chuckled. Our waitress came back and he ordered our food, the waitress smiling at him the whole time.
“Two things. One, I love it when you just order like that for me since you know what I like. Two, make sure you kiss me or flash your wedding ring. That waitress was looking at you like you were her next meal.” I whispered and looked away.
“Are you jealous, princess?” Sebastian sighed with a smirk.
“No. I just want her to know that you’re married.” I huffed with a slight scowl.
“Don’t worry, Rin. I’m pretty sure she knows.” He chuckled and grabbed my hand, kissing my rings gently. He looked up at me through those beautifully full lashes, his eyes reflecting the candle light.
“I love you, you handsome devil.” I murmured and rubbed his cheek with my thumb.
“I love you too, ingerul mea.” He purred and leaned forward to kiss me.
I heard the waitress clear her throat to signal she was there. Sebastian pulled away from me with a smirk and looked up at her as she set the plates down. Her seemingly genuine smile changed to a forced customer service smile in a matter of milliseconds before she walked away.
“I think that made it pretty clear.” Seb whispered before taking a bit of his food.
“You’re so rotten.” I muttered, cutting a piece of steak.
“And you love me for it.” He laughed.
“I’m excited to see this movie you’re working on.” I commented.
“Because I’m in it or because of your crush on Jessica?” He asked, his eyebrow raised.
“Obviously, it’s both. My husband on screen with my second biggest female celebrity crush? Sign me up.” I told him with a wink.
“Who’s your first? No, wait. Let me guess.” He said with a wry smile. “It’s Hayley, isn’t it?” He added.
“She’s so gorgeous.” I sighed with a nod.
“If you hadn’t met me through Marvel, who do you think you would have ended up with?” Sebastian asked, his eyes filled with mischief.
“Honestly? Probably Renner. But thankfully, I met you and we don’t have to think about who I could’ve ended up with.” I cooed and grabbed his hand, squeezing gently.
We finished our dinner talking about France, the kids, and how excited we were to have some time together before he had to go to Atlanta to film for the new series. He held my hand and smiled that iridescent smile as he looked me over. Our waitress came back and asked if we’d like to order dessert darting to my husband with a smirk.
“Thank you, but we’re alright.” I spoke up with a smile. “We have some back at the hotel.” I added before asking for the check. Our waitress walked away and Sebastian looked over at me.
“Oh we do? What kind of dessert is back at your hotel?” He asked, his voice low.
“Well, once we get back there, you can eat me for dessert.” I purred and stood up, walking to the door.
Sebastian came up behind me after paying, kissing my neck as I flagged down a taxi. We got in the car and I gave the address to the driver. Seb held me close, gently kissing and sucking my neck. His whispers of what he wanted to do to me laid heavy on my ear, sending a shiver down my spine. We finally pulled up to the hotel and Sebastian paid the driver before I started leading him inside.
“You look so beautiful. Have I told you that lately?” He whispered as he pinned me to the wall of the elevator, his hands planted firmly on my hips.
“It’s been at least twenty minutes, so you’re a little behind.” I chuckled and kissed him as the doors opened. I lead him to my room and locked the door after putting up the ‘Do Not Disturb’ sign. I ducked into the restroom and started slipping out of my dress as one of Renner’s newest songs played.
“Rin, what are you doing?” Sebastian shouted as I slipped into a new black lingerie set Charlie made me.
“Two more minutes, babe!” I shouted before I started touching up my makeup. I put on a bright red lipstick to finish my look and slipped on his favorite pair of black heels before popping my head out the door.
“Close your eyes.” I whispered.
“They’re closed. Are you finally done?” He asked, the irritation in his voice obviously joking.
“I am. And I think you’re going to love what you see.” I cooed and walked out of the bathroom, stopping in front of him. “Open up.” I cooed before putting my hands on my hips as he opened his eyes. His jaw dropped to the floor as he finally adjusted to the light in the room, a small squeak escaping his lips.
“Oh my god.” He repeated the phrase in astonishment and looked me up and down.
“You like what you see, Sebby?” I purred and walked closer, standing between his legs.
“Jesus Christ.” Sebastian muttered before looking up at me. His eyes filled with that Winter Soldier like intensity, sending a heat to my core.
“Talk to me, baby.” I whispered and bit my lip.
“I…don’t have the words.” He breathed and stood up, bringing himself almost face to face with me.
“Then don’t say anything. Do something.” I whispered, my lips brushing his softly.
His hands travelled up my legs and to my waist, pulling my body against his. He walked me backward, my back hitting the wall as his lips latched to mine. My body was pinned against the wall as his lips travelled down to my neck, words mumbled against my skin.
“Printesă, you feel so good in my arms.” Sebastian murmured as he buried his face in my neck.
“How bad did you miss me?” I asked as I ran my fingers through the hair at the base of his neck.
“You’re all I’ve been able to think about.” He answered and looked at me, his eyes twinkling.
“Then show me.” I cooed and kissed him before sliding out of his arms. I watched him turn around and I took off my panties and bra, setting them aside as Seb took off his jacket.
“Say the name, princess. Say it and I will give you whatever you want.” He almost growled as I sat down and he kneeled in front of me.
“Make me.” I chuckled with a smirk. He grabbed my thighs and pushed them apart, squeezing them while staring me in the eyes.
“Say it or I won’t touch you. And you want me to touch you.” He growled and kissed my thigh.
“Papi chulo. Please.” I whimpered and pouted before running my fingers through his hair. As soon as the last syllable out, his tongue started gliding through my folds.
“So delicious and wet for me, printesă.” Sebastian mumbled, his arms wrapped completely around my thighs and his face buried deep in my center.
I felt him drape my legs over his shoulders and heard him moan praises against my skin. My body writhed in pleasure against the bed, wanton cries filling the room as his nails dug into my skin. His muffled praises pushed me closer to the edge and I felt him pull away, causing me to whimper.
“Seb…” I whined, unable to open my eyes as I heard him take off his belt.
“Shhh, princess. I’ll take care of you.” He whispered as his shirt hit the floor. I felt his body loom over mine, his lips brushing mine as his fingers rolled my nipples.
“Tell me what you want.” He purred and pulled away slightly.
“Just want you.” I heaved, wrapping my hand around the back of his neck and pulling him down for a kiss. I felt him lose his balance and tumble down on the bed, his laugh infectious as he looked at me. I laughed and kissed him, smiling as he pulled me closer. He positioned me to straddle him and looked up at me with those beautiful eyes.
“Why am I always on top?” I asked with a pout, looking down at him.
“Because I like watching you. You’re so beautiful when you have the opportunity to take control.” He whispered and kissed my hand as he slid into me slowly. The way he moaned as he filled me sent a shiver down my spine.
Sebastian looked up at me as I moved my hips slowly, his fingers tracing my skin as I braced my hand on his chest. I felt his heart beat against my palm, almost in the same rhythm of my hips rocking against his. His breathing hitched as his nails gently started digging into my hips.
“God, you’re gorgeous.” He muttered, his lashes falling heavily against his cheek.
“Seb…” It was all I could manage before clapping my hand over his mouth. “Shhh.” I added, my hips rocking harder and faster against his.
“Fuck.” He mumbled, the sound muffled by my hand. He licked my hand and looked up at me with a smirk, pulling my hand away.
“Cheeky shit.” I chuckled and slowed my pace. I cupped his face and kissed him as his arms wrapped around my body.
“Beautiful printesă.” He cooed and flipped us over suddenly. I felt his lips on my neck as he thrusted into me, his body shaking against mine.
Time seemed to slow when ever he kissed my neck, but the world melted away when his eyes met mine. There was a primal lust that marriage seemed to dim in my friends. Then there was a pure love. The way his lips brushed mine and his fingers laced with mine as his hips rolled slowly sent a fire through me.
“You’re so beautiful.” Sebastian crooned.
“So…handsome…” I muttered and found his hand, squeezing it as he pumped his hips faster.
He buried his face deeper into my neck and his moans and gasps were almost deafening until my heartbeat drowned them out. His thrusts went from slow and passionate to quick and erratic, one hand squeezing mine. I buried my face in one the pillows and stifled my moans as he held on to me tight.
“Fuck, Rin.” Seb moaned before spilling into me, his body shivering. I felt him collapse and roll over beside me, his breathing heavy.
“I love you.” I cooed and ran my thumb over his cheek.
“I love you too, regina mea.” He mumbled. I watched him lay still, his breathing evening out. “Now, c’mere and let me get another taste of you.” He chuckled and helped me straddle his face.
“Fuck.” I panted as his tongue slid through my folds. I felt him flick his tongue over my clit, sending shivers up my spine.
His hands stayed on me as I braced myself against the wall, moaning as my hips bucked against his face. Muffled praised and filthy words were spoken against my thighs before he returned to sucking and licking my center. After what felt like an eternity, my body started shaking and my mouth fell open, a silent scream leaving as I reached my climax.
I fell on the bed beside him, panting and shaking. I felt his fingers brush my flesh gently before he stood up and grabbed one of his t-shirts I’d packed and helped me put it on.
“I love you.” I murmured, curling into his lap as he held me close.
“I love you too.” He whispered and kissed my temple. Just as he lifted my chin to kiss me, both of our phones rang. I grabbed mine and saw my work phone number, I answered as Seb answered his. I looked at him after hanging up, seeing he had his phone muted.
“Kevin?” I asked before standing up.
“Yeah. He wants me in…” Sebastian started.
“…San Diego?” We said at the same time, his brows furrowed as he looked at me.
“That was Alex from work. Turns out Kevin’s assistant called and said I had to head there too. Now, the real question is this: do we take the kids with us?” I asked and wrapped my arms around his neck.
“Is Charlie willing to look after Callie and Bo for that long?” He replied with his own question.
“Oh yeah. And the kids and I will go home after the convention and you can go finish filming…wherever you have to finish filming.” I answered and chuckled.
“Let me tell Kevin.” He crooned and kissed me before getting back on the phone as I texted our children. Sebastian got off the phone and pulled me on to the bed, kissing me and giggling.
“Our life is never boring, is it?” He asked and played with my hair.
“You wouldn’t like it if it was.” I cooed and kissed his forehead. “C’mon. Let’s get some sleep, handsome. We’ve got some big plans.” I added and covered us up, my body spooning his.
“I love you, Rin.” He whispered and yawned.
“I love you too, Sebby.” I murmured and held on to him tight, falling asleep to the rise and fall of his breathing.

Mestizo
Being mestizo is being at the airport, trying to tell your abuela that you may be going home but you're leaving it
too.
Being mestizo is staring at yourself in the mirror, looking to find a relative's sign, but never looking like your parents.
Being mestizo is hating the white bridge between you and the rest of the family. The same bridge that gives you privilege you'd be a brat to complain about, even when other people of color call you white-washed.
Being mestizo is hearing your mother sing in Spanish all day because she feels nothing but nostalgia and homesickness, understanding every lyrics but still not being able to twist your tongue the perfect way.
Being mestizo is sobbing at an eloquence contest because you were being asked what superpower you'd like to have, and you're trying to explain that you would give everything to be everywhere at once.
Being mestizo is carrying the pain of history; My people claiming to discover a whole New world while killing My people. And trying not to be bitter over some Pocahontas bullshit.
Being mestizo is never feeling enough and constantly trying to prove you belong in the family.
Being mestizo is being 5 shades lighter than your familia, your abuela coming to your birth, and calling you Blancanieve,... Snow White. And I know, deeply within my heart, this was meant as a compliment, but still I think about it as me being a foreigner to my own land.
It's you trying to fit in and showing you want to embrace your heritage while also feeling like a complete impostor.
Its your abuelo, saying you don't have any ounce of Argentinean in you because you don't know about a famous singer in a country you never actually lived in.
It's people asking where you're really from because something is wrong and they're uneasy with you not fitting any box. But what am I supposed to look like for you to be satisfied?
Being mestizo is people thinking your mom left her friends, her family, her degree and her country at 19 years old, because she wanted to be European?!
"Mestizo, término que integra la estratificación social basada en la jerarquía de razas, impuesta en sus colonias en América mediante los Estatutos de limpieza de sangre."
Guess what? My blood isn't dirty, my blood is a testimony from the ancestors who survived enslavement and genocide and refused to give up. My blood is a white flag, a promise and a love story 7000 miles apart.
My face is a painting, a song.
And I love the colors of my ebony brows de india and the highlights of my mane thanks to my dad's honey hair. Every freckle is a note on the caramel stave of my skin. My nose, which I used to hate, is the same as Mama Quilla, Inca goddess of the moon. And when I see it shining every night I remember I am allowed to shine to.
So I refuse to label myself and shrink all the treasures of my heritage to appease you. I refuse to let you fetishize my curves and my culture. I refuse to let you diminish my identity. I am not two halves, I am complete.

Who is Zamarod Arif ( Body sculpting expert, 26, who miraculously survived '100mph' A40 Range Rover smash ) Wiki, Bio, Age, Incident Details, Investigations and More Facts
Tumblr media
Zamarod Arif Biography                  Zamarod Arif Wiki
The family of a woman who miraculously survived a crash with a horror Range Rover say she is alive "thank God".
Zamarod Arif, 26, was a passenger in the car, which crashed into a fence and a parked Tesla before landing on the subway tracks. It is understood she survived the crash - which killed a 33-year-old mother - solely thanks to her seat belt. The driver, Rida Al Mousawi, 24, remains in critical condition in hospital after his £120,000 car went off the road and exploded on Monday. 'Iraqi-born jewellery store manager Rida Al Mousawi'. So who let him in to cause so much carnage? #sendthemback #ParkRoyal https://t.co/aSdVGEW77p — UKIP Eastern Region 🇺🇦 (@UKIPEasternreg) August 23, 2022 An Iraqi-born jewelry store manager is believed to have only recently purchased the supercharged 4x4, which took off from a public pavement and landed on the tracks of Park Royal tube station, northwest of London. He would run the Hiba jewelry store on Edgware Road in London, where he was known among other traders for his love of cars. One told MailOnline: "He had just bought the Range Rover and swapped in his Mercedes. The car was the more powerful version, the SVR. "He's a great guy and we all knew him because he had quite an active social life. He was single." The family of Miss Arif, who describes herself as a personal trainer and 'body sculpting expert' who also studies economics, said last night she was cut from her car and was in hospital with a fractured arm and leg. Her friend, a 33-year-old mother and eyelash technician, died after being thrown by the Range Rover. Leave a little girl.
Video Footage
Dashcam footage shows the moment the high-performance SUV ripped through the A40 barrier and entered a Tesla dealership at 3:48 a.m. causing thousands of pounds of damage. A 57-year-old man is said to have loaded his car in the middle when the Range Rover crashed into it. He suffered non-fatal injuries. Miss Arif's brother, Raza Arif, told the Daily Mail: "I found out at 8am. I got a call from the police that my sister had had an accident. It meant a lot that she survived. It's my blood, it's my flesh, it's my everything. "I'm very happy and thank God. I can't ask for more. “Like his brother, I am absolutely frustrated. We are all shocked at how we can understand someone going 100 mph in a 40 mph zone. It makes no sense, it makes no sense at all.' A source at Jaguar Land Rover, which makes the Range Rover, told the Mail the Range Rover could have been going over 100 miles an hour when it left the road. Uber driver Nawaf Ali, who was in the area at the time, described how a woman was "cut off" from the Range Rover as she was flying through the air. He told MailOnline: "It looked like he had been thrown from the car. If I had stopped a few yards away I would have been hit. It was like a horror movie, only much worse. " Read the full article

I realized the funny thing about Miles & Ty as a duo is that one (almost) never apologizes even when he wants to & feels bad, & the other is (nearly) always apologizing even when he's being sarcastic and not at all sorry. It's not displayed on this board, but it's something I thought about while making it.
Anyway, this is just a snippet of their dynamic board. I thought that maybe I should put up an idea of how the two interact before introducing more characters. Making these for tumblr is really hard actually lol I feel like I'm lowkey doing them a disservice but it's a skill I gotta work on I suppose. (side note, all of the text messages here are Miles on the left, Tyrone on the right)

Need Help With Packing? Think And Decide Who’ll Do The Best Job
Need Help With Packing? Think And Decide Who’ll Do The Best Job was first seen on: Frank Raza
There is always a time that moving into a different place is necessary, especially when your job needs you to be in a more accessible location. But for whatever reason it is, moving can be “stressful” as everybody says, and sometimes it takes time to adjust to your new environment. Now, it’s really time for you to say goodbye to your old folks and embrace the challenge that life offer in other settings. I’m sure you are not 100% sure on what to do during the moving process, especially when this will be your first time.
In order to get things done, some seek help of their family and friends to pack up their things and also to cut the cost of money they will spend when moving. But is it really cost-effective when you seek help from friends other than professionals? It’s really up to you whether to choose your friends, or choose a Chicago moving specialist that can provide a hassle-free moving experience.
At Devon Moving Company only expert movers are assigned to handle packing of your valuable things. Here’s a bit of advice from an article for you to decide who’ll do the job best.
Seen first on: (http://www.moving.com/tips/hire-movers-or-beg-friends-3-ways-to-decide-wholl-get-packing/)
In between frantically dragging your unwanted gear to the curb and trying to use socks as precious-items packing material, you realize you’ll never get all this stuff out of here in time on your own. You’re going to need help. But do you break down and call in the pros or beg your friends?
Before you decide (or curl up in a corner, assume a fetal position, and stare catatonically at the walls), try weighing these three factors:
1. Distance
“The longer the move the harder it becomes, so we always recommend professionals for long-distance moves,” says Jan Reid, CEO of All Over Movers in Oklahoma City, OK.
If you’re moving to a new city or across state lines, a lot can go wrong. If the truck is packed incorrectly, for example, you’ll have several risky miles where your stuff could get damaged. That is, if you even get there.
“Rented trucks can break down, and that’s a hassle to deal with,” Reid says. “Moving companies have backup trucks that can come meet the broken-down truck without much time lost during the move.”
2. Time
If you’re moving locally, you should also evaluate how much time you have to spend moving.
If you’re pressed for time, professionals might make more sense.
“A move that could take a professional moving company two hours could easily take nonprofessionals all day to accomplish,” Reed says.
If you have a full day—or ideally a full weekend—to move, you can save some money and ask your friends for help. Sure, there are going to be arguments discussions about how to load the truck and your friends are probably going to take several breaks to complain chat, but in the end it might even be fun. (OK, at least cheaper.)
3. Skill sets
Moving isn’t just about carrying boxes. Take an honest look at what skills your friends are bringing to the table and see if they match your moving job.
“Anytime you are dismantling and mantling furniture, it’s good to have a professional that does that kind of thing every day,” Reid says.
Also consider logistics. Will your friends be able to get your stuff out of your old place and into your new one?
When to compromise
If you’re on a tight budget but also worried your friends will break everything, there may be a compromise. Rather than pay for a full-service move, hire a professional for the worst, most grueling part.
Again, friends will always be your friends but compromising a thing during your moving day…well, that’s another story! But with professional movers there’s no need to worry about a thing aside from a bit of food to offer them. You heard it right! Should you feed your movers? Well, it’s not necessary but if you’ll be moving to a long distance place then you might want to consider these helpful tips.
First seen on: (http://www.youmoveme.com/ca/blog/should-you-feed-professional-movers)
It can surprise people how many questions there are surrounding the moving process.
At first glance, it seems so very simple. You figure out the date you need to be out of the house, then discern when you’ll be allowed to move into your new home. You pack your stuff, call a moving company, and then go where you need to go.
Not so fast. Here’s one piece of minutiae you may not have thought of right off the bat: should you feed your movers?
There’s not really a short answer to this question, since so much depends on both the situation and your own personal preference.
A Cold Drink is a Good Thing
Here’s one thing we would recommend though, no matter what the situation. Make sure to provide the movers with something to drink: water, soda, or sports drinks, it doesn’t really matter.
But giving them something refreshing will help the move go quicker, as well as making them appreciative. You can skip out on doing this of course. Unless you signed a very odd contract, everything we are about to recommend in this blog post is optional.
It’s really just nice to show the movers a bit of kindness. You’re entrusting them with many of your belongings. Even if it is just for a brief period of time, you still want them to feel good towards you.
Providing Food is Nice if the Move Takes Longer than Four or Five Hours
Past that basic note of kindness, the etiquette surrounding movers and refreshments becomes even less clear. To keep things simple, we’d recommend providing food if the move takes longer than four or five hours.
At that point, even if the movers start early, you’re likely running into lunchtime. Letting the movers go off to lunch is fine, and they may very well need the break. But they are likely to get the job done more quickly if they stay on-site.
That said, there’s no need to think hard about the meal. No need to run to the kitchen and whip something up. Something cheap and easy should do the trick. Pizza is a great option. Sandwiches are also good.
Alcohol and Moving Do Not Mix Well
The only thing we would strongly recommend not giving movers is alcohol. The reasons for this should be obvious, but in case they aren't, here's the reasoning: the movers are going to be moving your precious belongings. Alcohol might make them a little less sharp and a little less careful. Therefore, alcohol is not a good idea.
The moving process is never meant to be difficult, in fact it is manageable. With careful planning and advice from experts, you will get to your new location with ease. All you need to do is call the right moving company and Devon Moving Company offers convenience at its best when it comes to moving services.

Costa Rican Holiday Celebrations, Festivals & Events
The holidays in Costa Rica are a time for celebration, and Costa Rica’s native Ticos and Ticas welcome any chance to celebrate. A large part of the population identifies with the Catholic Church, and so share most religious holidays, but many of their traditions and celebrations are unique to Costa Rica. Here are some top holiday celebrations, festivals, and cultural events you and your family won’t want to miss during your Costa Rica vacation.
January
New Year’s Day
January 1 / Throughout Costa Rica
Like many countries around the world, New Year’s is a cause for celebration in Costa Rica. Many people head to the coast to bring in the New Year on the beach, and most hotels host New Year’s Eve events and activities. It is not uncommon to see street parties with music and dancing in local towns across the country. Check with your hotel concierge to see what’s happening in your area. Just be sure to head outside when the clock strikes midnight. Many neighborhoods put on firework shows you won’t want to miss!
Fiestas of Palmares
The first two weeks in January / Palmares
Lasting two weeks, the Fiestas of Palmares is the longest party of the year and the largest of the typical fiestas. Think of it as a Costa Rican Octoberfest. Enjoy a horseback riding parade (tope), traditional bullfights (no bloodshed), concerts, food booths, carnival rides, fireworks, and an unlimited supply of beer.
Fiestas of Santa Cruz
The middle of January / Santa Cruz, Guanacaste
The Fiesta of Santa Cruz is a religious celebration of folk dancing, marimba music, food, and fireworks to honor the patron saint Santo Cristo de Esquipulas (a famous Guatemalan statue). The festivities take place in the rural town of Santa Cruz around two main locations: the Plaza de los Mangos where bull riding takes place and the Parque Bernabela Ramos where cultural activities take place.
Fiesta of the Diablitos
youtube
The first weekend in February / Rey Curre Village (near San Isidro de El General)
Celebrated by the Boruca people of the region, the multi-day Fiesta of the Diablitos pays homage to ancestral spirits as it commemorates the tribe’s victory over Spanish conquistadors. The village men dress up as diablitos in colorful hand-carved wooden masks and one person dresses as a bull which represents the Spanish conquistadors while depicting the struggle between the Borucas and the Spanish. While at times it seems that the conquistadors might win, the Boruca eventually prevail as they did historically. Throughout the festival, the Boruca drink chicha, a traditional fermented corn beverage. Fiesta de los Diablitos actually takes place in two indigenous communities: the village of Boruca (December 30 – January 2) and the village of  Rey Curre (the first weekend of February). It is open to the public, but visitors are charged a fee to take photos.
March
Día del Boyero (Oxcart Drivers’ Day)
The second Sunday in March / Escazú
Oxcart drivers from all of Costa Rica convene to parade their colorfully painted oxcarts through this San Jose suburb where local priests bless the oxen.
National Orchid Show
End of February – mid-March/ San Jose
Over 300 orchid species are displayed each year by growers from around the world at this annual competition. Dates vary year-to-year.
April
Semana Santa (Holy Week)
The week leading up to Easter / Throughout Costa Rica
Holy Week is a Catholic celebration honoring the passing and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Colorful religious processions take place in towns and cities throughout Costa Rica. Easter Holy Week is also a popular time for family beach excursions.
Juan Santamaria Day
youtube
April 11 / Alajuela
Juan Santamaria was a poor drummer boy and celebrated national war hero from Alajuela who helped thwart a U.S. figure’s march through Central America. Although Costa Rica abolished their military in 1948, Juan Santamaria’s victory is still celebrated with concerts, parades, and dancing.
May
Workers or Labor Day (May Day)
May 1 / Throughout Costa Rica
Labor Day in Costa Rica is celebrated with parades, processions, fireworks, and a presidential speech. Many businesses and schools are closed.
July
Fiesta of the Virgin of the Sea
Saturday around July 16 / Puntarenas

Guanacaste Day
July 25 / Liberia
Guanacaste Day commemorates the annexation of the Guanacaste province from Nicaragua in 1824. Bullfights, rodeos, horseback riding parades, folk dancing, and concerts are all on the agenda.
August
Virgin of Los Angeles Day
August 2 / Cartago
Basilica of Our Lady of the Angels, Cartago
Virgin of Los Angeles Day marks the annual pilgrimage in honor of Costa Rica’s patron saint in which people walk 15 miles (24 km) from San Jose to the Cartago Basilica.
San Ramon Day
August 30 / San Ramon
Over 30 statues of patron saints are brought from neighboring towns and paraded through the streets with dancing and music in honor of San Ramon’s own patron saint.
September
Costa Rica’s Independence Day
September 15 / Throughout Costa Rica
Celebrated as the day Costa Rica secured its autonomy from Spain in 1821, Independence Day is celebrated with marching band parades of children playing their instruments to the tune of the Costa Rican national anthem. Typical Costa Rican foods are normally sold by street vendors.
October
Carnival / Dia de la Raza
Week of October 12 / Limon, Caribbean Coast
This 12-day celebration of Costa Rican Afro-Caribbean Culture commemorates Christopher Columbus’ arrival to the Caribbean coast in 1502. Colorful parades with street dancing, vibrant costumes, Caribbean food, and open-air concerts are all part of the celebration. Think the Carnival of Brazil minus a few thousand people with the unique laid-back vibe of the Costa Rican Caribbean. If you’d like to stay on the Caribbean Coast during Carnival, book your hotel early!
November
Dia de los Muertos (All Souls’ Day)
November 2 / Throughout Costa Rica
While not as extravagant as the Mexican Dia de los Muertos, Costa Ricans honor their dead with visits to cemeteries, flowers, and prayers.
December
Festival de la Luz
Second Saturday in December / San Jose
Festival of Lights
Festival de la Luz, or the Festival of Lights, is held the evening of the second Saturday in December. The event marks the official start of the holiday season and is underscored with lively, festive music. A beautiful procession of white floats with glistening lights parades through the streets of San Jose, including the Paseo Colon and Avenida Segunda. Don’t miss the brilliant fireworks show following the festival!
Las Posadas
December 15 / Throughout Costa Rica

Homes are visited until the carolers reach their final destination -typically a home or church – where the “innkeepers” finally let them in for a celebration.
Christmas Eve & Day
youtube
December 24 & 25 / Throughout Costa Rica
Christmas Eve and Christmas Day are a time for family in Costa Rica. On Christmas Eve, children leave their shoes out in hopes that the Christ child will fill them with candy and small gifts. Sample the flavors of a Costa Rican Christmas with traditional holiday foods like tamales or Tres Leches cake.
El Tope Nacional de Caballos
December 26 / San Jose
Tope Nacional de Caballos is the national horse parade held each year on December 26th,   when Costa Ricans gather in the streets of San Jose to celebrate their strong agricultural heritage. Horsemen and cowboys from around the country come to parade their handsome horses and show off their riding skills. The famous, hand-painted oxcarts from Sarchi are also celebrated for their significance in Costa Rican agricultural history. El Tope begins around 1 pm in downtown San Jose on Paseo Colon.
Carnaval Nacional
December 27 / San Jose
On December 27th, the celebration in downtown San Jose continues with an exciting procession of floats, marching bands, clowns, and street dancers in colorful costumes.
Las Fiestas de Zapote

Beat in Your Heart
Tumblr media
Summary: With Sebastian being gone for TIFF, there’s an obvious hole in everyone’s hearts.
A/N: Inspired by Lonestar’s “I’m Already There” which you can listen to here -----> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qJEP5sWuDi8 . This story is incredibly emotional, so yeah.
Giggles filled our home as we had a peaceful Sunday night in, watching our favorite Star Wars movie. The way Genevieve could quote all of Leia’s lines and Aiden could so easily resemble Luke made me giggle. But there was someone missing. My personal Luke lookalike. Sebastian was away for the TIFF. I missed him terribly, just like I knew the kids did. I knew he would get a kick out of Evie quoting lines.
“Just like you, you dork. So much like her momma.” I could hear his voice. He’d look up at me from his spot in my lap as I played with his hair, giving me that rotten as sin smile. I shook my head, trying to clear my mind and focus on our children. I watched as they played out battle scenes, smiling and giggling at them.
My phone started ringing and I leaned over, cursing whoever could have been calling right now. Shit. I huffed. ‘Papi Chulo-FaceTime’. Why are you doing this to me right now? I asked mentally, hoping to use that unspoken connection, even though we were miles apart.
“Hey. You guys stay in here. I need to take this.” I told them quietly as I stood up and answered once I got into the kitchen. I saw his face fill up my screen and my heart started flipping like it always did when I saw him.
“Oh, thank God. I was starting to think you weren’t gonna answer, Rin.” Sebastian told me, running a hand through his hair and giving me a tired smile.
“Of course, I was going to answer, darlin’.” I murmured and smiled sweetly. “How’s everything going?” I asked and his hand flew up.
“No work talk. I can’t do it tonight.” His hands fidgeted and I knew that wasn’t a good subject. “How are things there?” He asked wistfully. He wants to be here. I know that look all too well. I told myself.
“Things are good. It’s movie night since the kids don’t have school tomorrow. We’re watching Return of the Jedi for the millionth time.” I chuckled. I peeked my head around the kitchen corner and smiled at them before turning back to see Sebastian craning his neck to sneak a glimpse of our kids.
“You wanna see ‘em, baby?” I asked quietly, pressing my lips together afterward. I saw the tears forming in his eyes and he nodded, running a hand through his hair. I set the phone down and walked to the living room, walking back a few moments later with the kids behind me.
“What’s going on?” Aiden asked me sweetly.
“I got someone on the phone who wants to talk to you guys.” I answered and grabbed the phone. I held it at their level and turned it so they could see Sebastian. Evie’s eyes filled with tears while Aiden gasped and grabbed the phone, taking it to our table. Genevieve followed behind him and I leaned against the counter, holding back my own tears as I listened to our son recount the ‘adventures’ he’s had since Seb left.
“Well, that’s everything I’ve done. Have you had any adventures, Dad?” Aiden asked and even though I couldn’t see, I knew there were some loving looks being exchanged.
“Nah, not really. Just working. Making sure all these guys stay in line.” Seb chuckled. “Can I talk to your sister now, buddy?” He asked and Aiden handed the phone to Genevieve before walking back to me. He gave me a tight hug and I ruffled his hair before he ran upstairs to grab his blanket. I looked back to see and hear my daughter and husband sniffling.
“When are you coming home?” Evie hiccupped through broken cries, tears streaming down her fair features. I couldn’t see the phone, but what I knew of Sebastian, his heart was in pure agony to see his girl break down like this.
“As soon as I can, raza de soare. I promise. But I’m always there, even if you don’t realize it.” He whispered, taking a sharp breath.
“I miss you so much, tătic.” She heaved. As she tried to catch her breath, she wiped her tears on her sleeves.
“I miss you too, my sweet girl.” He crooned, his voice cracking. “Just remember this. No matter where I am, I’m seeing the same sun, moon, sky, and stars as you. Okay?” Seb asked quietly and doing his best to calm our weeping daughter.
“Okay. I love you, tătic. So much.” Evie whispered and blew him a kiss.
“I love you too, frumoasa. Much more than you’ll ever know.” My husband murmured and blew her a kiss back. She wiped her slowing tears away and brought my phone back. She gave me a gentle hug in passing, but I barely noticed. I was busy drowning in my own tears from watching them and I could barely look down at my phone.
“God, you’re a hot mess.” Sebastian chuckled from the screen, trying to lighten my mood. I couldn’t help but let out a small laugh as I wiped my cheeks and attempted to catch my breath. I looked down at him and he wiped his own tears away.
“Takes one to know one, punk.” I retorted and got him to flash me a smile.
“But I’m your punk.” He joked, still not fully recovered from the good crying session we just had all around.
“And only mine.” I whispered. “You know this was never easy, you being gone, when it was just me left behind. Now we’ve got our kiddos. The way Evie looks at you…” I started before my words caught in my throat at the way he looked at me.
“I know. God, do I know. I miss you all so damn much.” Sebastian sniffled. “I miss the way Aiden laughs at the smallest things. The way Genevieve smiles when I tell a set story for what should be the millionth time. And your hugs. I miss the comfort of your arms and the way your fingers brush the hair at the bottom of my neck when I drift to sleep on your chest.” He was rambling and he knew it, but he couldn’t stop. He broke down into heaving, hysterical sobs.
Curse you all. Damn you Marvel and all the other companies. I raged in my mind. I hated seeing him like this.
“Sebastian. Come home. You’re going to have a breakdown one of these days if you don’t recharge and see us for more than thirty minutes through a phone screen.” I was pleading. “I hate this. I can’t stand to see our kids cry because they miss you. It physically kills me to see you cry over this. Please, darling.” I whimpered, my head bowed in dismay.
“Ssshhh, iubită.” He shushed and hummed. “It’s going to be okay. I promise. And I’ll be home sooner than you can imagine. And like I told Evie, I’m there even if it doesn’t feel like it.” His voice was soft and low. So soothing. I looked at him, my body trembling and my lip quivering.
“Do me a favor, regina mea. Put your hand over your heart for me.” He told me with a sweet smile. I mirrored his movement, watching as he placed his right hand over his bare chest where his heart rested. “Feel that heartbeat? A piece of my heart is in there. Same beat. Same rhythm. Same time. Our own song. And I know a piece of your heart is in mine.” Sebastian grinned.
“You’ll always have a piece of my heart, Sebastian.” I whispered, fighting back my tears.
“And you’ll always have a piece of mine, Corinne. And whether they know it or not, Evie and Aiden have a piece of my heart too. Because that’s what a family and love is. Pieces of the others’ hearts to make ours whole.” He crooned and looked at me like in that moment I was the whole world. Like there wasn’t what felt like a million miles between us.
“You’re so wonderful, baby.” I signed one handed, my tears flowing again.
“I love you, Rin.” Seb whispered.
“I love you too.” I whimpered. “We’re going to be okay.” I whispered and looked at him through tear filled eyelashes.
“We’re going to be better than okay, doll.” Sebastian crooned, his eyes never leaving me as I wiped my tears. “You a little better now, printesă?” He asked kindly.
“I’m never one hundred percent when you’re gone, but I’m better.” I told him quietly and sat on the counter.
“I know. I’m not either. I won’t be until I hug those kids and then take you to bed.” He chuckled, his face changing from solemn to mischievous almost as quickly as the words left his lips.
“You are absolutely rotten.” I huffed and smiled before letting out a yawn.
“Rotten to the core, baby doll.” He giggled. “Getting sleepy, regina mea?” He asked and looked at me with heavy eyes of his own.
“Yeah. Between taking care of work and the minions and crying over you, it takes a lot out of this girl.” I told him with a weak smile.
“Better get some rest then. Let me tell the kids goodnight and then I’ll get off here. Got an early flight tomorrow.” Seb told me, his eyes widening slightly.
“Aiden! Genevieve! Come tell dad goodnight! He’s gotta get up early!” I shouted toward the living room. The sound of feet running toward me still made my heart do high dive flips. I handed them the phone and they both smiled at their dad.
“Goodnight, guys. Get some good sleep and you keep behaving for your momma, okay?” Sebastian gave them a sweet smile and a raised eyebrow.
“Of course, dad. We wouldn’t want to disappoint you.” Aiden chuckled and gave his dad a wide grin. Seb held up his fist and our son gave him a fist bump in return before handing the phone to his sister. Genevieve flashed Sebastian a heart stopping smile and his eyes lit up in excitement.
“I hope you have a good night, tătic. I love you so much.” She whispered, her smile still bright.
“I love you too, raza de soare. Get some rest.” He chuckled and blew her a kiss. She blew him one in return and waved goodbye before handing me the phone. She kissed my cheek before walking away, humming the Imperial March.
“And you, Mrs. Winters-Stan, definitely need to try to get some rest.” Sebastian chuckled, giving me a playful grin.
“As do you, Mr. Stan.” I giggled and winked. “I love you, my handsome papi chulo.” I told him with a mischievous smile.
“And I love you, my beautiful printesă.” He crooned, his lips forming as if he were going to kiss me. I copied him and giggled before waving goodbye.
“Night, handsome.” I cooed with a small smile.
“Night, gorgeous.” Sebastian whispered before waving goodbye and hanging up. I watched his face disappear from my screen and immediately wished he was here. Or we were there. I had to push the thoughts far from my mind as I walked upstairs to change into my pajamas. I crawled into our bed and grabbed his pillow, holding it close to me. I hummed myself to sleep, imagining that his strong arms were wrapped around me and he was singing softly.

Need Help With Packing? Think And Decide Who’ll Do The Best Job
The post Need Help With Packing? Think And Decide Who’ll Do The Best Job was originally seen on: Frank Raza
