I was able to meet this amazing man in person today. He completely made my day….maybe even my year 😂 but what got me the most was that he even pronounced my name correctly (it’s Delia btw) I was completely over the moon. 🖤
My boys and I were also able to get a photo with him and he was so nice to both of them. And they both were so excited about it.
There were so many people in line to get a photo with him so we weren’t able to talk to him long but it was still an amazing experience.

Anyone else feel like they love a fandom more than they love a show/movie/etc. ? Teen Wolf, for example, loved the show growing up and then discovered Tumblr and AO3 side of the TW and loved the connon on fics more than the show itself 🤣 I'm a huge fan of Stiles/Derek, Stiles/Peter, and Peter/Chris, Stiles/Peter/Chris. Used to love Scott in the show but enjoy reading bad-friend/alpha-scott better. I stopped watching the show after Derek left, so at the point, Peter was more villain than anything but in fics? Favorite character. Love the trope of Good-Peter, Peter deserves nice things, hell I even love the trope of murder husband's Peter and Stiles. Never cared for Chris in the show until I started reading fics about him and Peter. Didn't really care for Malia but gimme Dad Peter and I'll read that shit everytime. Hated Allison in the show but Chris mourning his daughter and Stiles saving the day by getting her back all the while Peter holds them all together as pack alpha? YESSS.
When the movie came out obviously did not like it but the fix it fics that followed? I'll read Stiles saving his husband and son all day everyday.
However, it is important to note that I love all the actors and actresses - they are all amazing. The show was beautiful and even the movie (if it had better material anyways and obviously Derek didn't die).
But the fanfics in the Teen Wolf fandom are top-tier. I will smile, I will laugh, I will throw my phone across the room, and I will cry. It also helps that Tyler Hoechlin supports Sterek fanfics which makes it so much better. And the friendship between Ian and Tyler? Ian ans Jr? I love them.
Okay, that ends my rant for the day ✌🏻 thanks for coming to my Ted talk. I'll see yall during my next batch of pain meds that make me emotional 🤣

One of the reasons I think Sterek fans or Thiam fans still continue to like and ship Sterek or Thiam is because of the actors.
Dylan and Tyler Hoechlin have always said they've loved Stiles and Derek's dynamics , they said they would love to explore it more.
Cody and Dylan Sprayberry have also said they've loved Thiam but it was never going to happen.
Khylin teased Thiam and said they have amazing chemistry too.
Hoechlin even suggested a scene to Jeff where Stiles is angry and let's out all his frustration on Derek ( beating him up or whatever) and Derek letting him because he understands.
Hoechlin also talked about trying to add one last sterek moment for the fans during the finale but it was cut by someone ( we know who )
Hell, Holland Roden , the other half of the stydia ship has on multiple occasions stated that she like Sterek.
The only person who cause chaos and gave his unsolicited opinion about Sterek was Posey who called it a bizarre twisted thing ( which Hoechlin later slightly shaded by the way)
While I understand he was frustrated that people were watching the show only for Sterek and not him , the show is for us to watch and enjoy however we want as an audience .
It is fair to get annoyed when fans bombard the writers actors or others about demanding more scenes from 2 character just because they ship them .
We saw how Sterek and Thiam were queerbaited , even though the actors were 100% comfortable.
The actors are comfortable and openly talk about the ships instead of pretending like it doesn't exist or that fans are delusional or twisted for seeing them in a romantic light.

Museum Of Horror 1: I Want Your Life
Tumblr media Tumblr media
After a hard week I find myself wanting to let go of it all giving up on my dreams when it happens as a shooting star races through the sky and I open my window sliding on to the roof of my home as I stare at the night sky unable to sleep. One small section of the bold gold shooting star seems to rip from it racing to the mid huge ground of my back yard smashing in to it and leaving a massive hole in the back ground of my home as I slide off to see it in his glory. It shines blaring in to my face as I cannot try to explain what I see reaching in with both of my hands as I grasp it and lift it up to my eye line unknowingly my mind goes in to a random placing it next to my chest as it absorbs in to my skin.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Everything in my body switches to a type of a unknown frequency I have never felt of experienced until now as my eyes began to spin like in a merry go round and I blank out four hours waking up in some strange location a hotel room maybe who knows at this point. Panicking I get up rubbing like the window to get to my bathroom mirror only to the have the shock of my life because I am unable to comprehend why I look like this or how I look this and why do I feel like an entirely unique person because this is not my body but it’s empty. I slap myself a bit with enthusiasm because this has to be a dream, I must have been so worked for this last day that I need to be a new entity for a night and woah I go really extremely lucky tonight baby and I could not be happier with results or the fruit of my labor.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
“Oh My God! I am touching Tyler Hoechlin’s face.” I say staring in to the mirror.
“What on earth is this a fever dream?” I am still questioning me.
“No! Look at his phones and his contacts.” I say.
“I wonder what he….mmmmmm” I think as I open my shirt.
“He won’t mind if I take a peak right?” I ask with a wink.
“Of course not hot shot! Go for it.” I reply to myself.
“Woah! Shaven very nice.” I think feeling his chest to torso.
“Tyler! I am going to strip.” I say to no one in particular.
“Yeah! I am going to sleep in for a while so if you excuse me.”
“Wait! Wait a second please!” A voice yells back at me matching the mirror.
“Ugh! What do you want?” I say sighing and rolling my eyes.
“You can’t take possession of my body even if you wanted to.” Hey says slamming fist on to the mirror.
“You assume I care, I wanted a new life so I took one.” I shrug my shoulders.
“I Am Not Going Back” I finish.
“You asshole!” He howls at me.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
“What is happening? What the fuck?” He shouts.
“Oh buddy! You are fading away.”
“Nnnnooooooo!” He screams in one lays ditch effort but falls in to an endless purple
void.
“That is right bitch”
“Mwahahahahaha “
“This body is glorious”
“Once and for all”
“My life is going to be amazing”
“I will dominate all”
“Mwahahahahaha “
“Yell better watch out”
“Motherfuckers “
“I am god”
“A God!”
“Fuck yeah!”
Tumblr media
“Now the claim both types of pussies “
“Have a wonderful week”

I’m not sure I can stand watching Teen Wolf and writing down my thoughts episode per episode like I have with 911.
I have watched the show on repeat for over a decade, but I get really riled up thinking about all the injustices Jeff Davis allowed.
911 creators realize that representation matters. Unlike Jeff Davis who has his head up his ass indefinitely.
Dylan O’Brien and Tyler Hoechlin have such amazing chemistry and JD did absolutely nothing with it.
It was all about Scott. And Tyler “I couldn’t act my way out of a paper bag” Posey.
Like what kind of crap does Posey have on JD?

Sephiroth's mental breakdown was nailed perfectly. The raw emotions and him realizing Gast was no better than Hojo... Oh man... Rebirth is gonna be amazing
Game isn't even out and it's already one of my favorite scenes. The music. The buildup to it. THE JENOVA CLOSEUPS. The superb voice acting. (yes, I think Tyler Hoechlin does a fine job)
The only thing that seemed iffy was cutting out some of Sephiroth's monologue about the Cetra and traitor thing.
And you know what, I like Rebirth's slight retcon. In this version, it's much more about Sephiroth, providing a clearer understanding of why he succumbed to darkness. This man and boy (since young Sephiroth is his inner child that's always with him) finally discovered the ugly "truth" about the twisted experiments that made him and the other monsters. He always wondered about his purpose, and this was it. All those years of abuse and exploitation... were done at his expense because he's a monster. The few people that did love and support him? No, no such thing. They're no different from his tormentors. He felt so alone and lost.
The Nibelheim Incident is pretty much his trauma reaching a breaking point. I can see how difficult it was for some to discern for some this nuance in the OG (and even in CC) because they focused more on Sephiroth developing an ego complex from more obviously, outdated information. This retcon is more closer to the truth, the only erroneous thing being that Jenova was an ancient. It's an amazing fix and does a great job in humanizing Sephiroth. I absolutely loved how they used the Jung Shadow. I'm a psychology nerd. You basically watched the death scene of Sephiroth's old identity, especially notice how prominent his shadow is. It's meant to show his inner conflict and then his transformation.
Tumblr media
He became exactly what he never wanted to be.
Anyways, another thing to note: what was a bit weird in the original game and the compilation is the strange shift in Sephiroth's beliefs and motivations. At first, he believed himself to be a Cetra and had a divine right to rule over the planet. Then, he transitions to wanting to destroy the planet at the beginning of FF7, seemingly abandoning any claims to Cetra heritage. We know why his motivations changed, but it feels odd not getting more expansion on it after they just suddenly threw that bit of information at us. I believe this retcon should help smooth out that awkward transition. It's a great feeling that one item from my wish/check list might be addressed.
And you know another thing I fucking loved Rebirth's portrayal of the Nibelheim Incident? They didn't back off from Sephiroth's villainy and sadism. I already made a post about it here, but holy fuck. He is out for blood. Everyone and everything in his path had to suffer, just like he did. They don't deserve to continue to live life so happy and normal.
Sephiroth really did not deserve any of the shit he was put through, but that will never not excuse the atrocities he committed in Nibelheim. I was honestly scared to see how the writers would humanize Sephiroth, but so far, they seem to do a great job of it. Hopefully, the full game can keep it up.
The demo still has some issues with Sephiroth and how the gameplay works, though.

The Intuitive Analysis of my Blorbo 😇, Mr. Derek Hale
The reason I latched onto Derek like I did, is because as an Empath, the amazing way he was portrayed by Tyler Hoechlin, his backstory, and how he responded to stimulus around him, really pulled me into him. He made me feel what he was going through. There are some rare performances that can really connect with me, like they were a real tangible person, and his is one of them.
I don't know how much insight I can give into him that I, or other beautiful people in the Fandom, haven't already. But I will give as brief an overview as I can.
The fact that Derek is a werewolf, and born that way, already changes everything from the beginning. His lived experience is already different from the jump. Much like people from two completely different cultures will have different perspectives, manners, ways of speaking, etc. He's already leading with instinct/intuition and hasn't lost touch with that, while others tend to be really connected with it as a child and then become conditioned out of listening to that feeling in your gut or that intuitive hit because as a child that's seen as "silly" or not "real". But being born with that, and born of people who also possess this ability, he's going to have that part of himself nutured instead of minimized.
He's also the middle child, but the only boy, so he's got an interesting dynamic that way. He's likely seen as more "special" or more included than the typical middle child. But being the middle of two girls, he was still likely the scapegoat and teamed up on because of it. It's likely made him more careful and thoughtful with his words and actions. Also, he's probably very connected to his family, maybe more than most humans. Which also points to that animal instinct.
Being the middle child, I feel, might also make him more susceptible to suggestion, but also, oddly enough, he's kind of a good bullshit detector. Unfortunately, he tends to have a big blind spot for bullshit when his heart is involved. This boy is a big ol' marshmallow.
He's sustained so much trauma because he was/is such a beautiful soul who wanted to believe in the power of love. He wore his heart on his sleeve, and everybody saw that, and some people exploited that to their own ends. So much that Derek completely closed himself off when his own pure heart led to his family being killed.
When we first see Derek in Teen Wolf, his sister (the last family he had that was alive/not comatose) had just been killed. He's already completely shrouded himself internally and externally in that pain he still holds in his very soul, and built it up around him like a wall. He's put on his leather jacket and scowl as an armor to keep people out. Even as gorgeous as he is, he didn't look very approachable, so people usually gave him a wide berth. And it's this very armor he's created that actually makes it harder for him to connect with Scott and Stiles, initially.
While Stiles understands the grief personally, it takes him a while to see that in Derek because the man is so incredibly guarded.
But it's impossible to show the needed vulnerability to create the necessary camaraderie because, to Derek, vulnerability means weakness, and leads to death. Though it makes sense that the one person he was able to let the wall down with was Stiles. Despite their initial animosity, Stiles has proven his loyalty, his tenacity, and his understanding. Derek instinctively knows that he can trust Stiles, and he slowly begins to let him in.
A lot of what we see from Derek in the beginning is survival mode, trying to control a situation because he's feeling out of control, which creates more animosity. He becomes the Alpha because someone needs to be, and he's the only one who knows enough between him and Scott. Plus, he isn't going to give his family's spark to a newbie wolf.
Then he's building a pack because that's all he knows. He does everything he's only ever seen other people do. He's running purely on instinct and of course non-wolves are not going to understand that.
Anyway, to cut this short, once he's out of survival mode and he's had time to process what's happened, he becomes a mentor to Scott. That soft marshmallow boy starts to peek out. Then we see him emerge even more once he's more settled, like when dealing with his son, Eli.
All in all, Derek is a major soft wolf who was hardened by his trauma, but he was able to slowly connect with people again. He was able to trust and create a pack and a community with the people in Beacon Hills, and he was able to step more fully into who he truly was, which was proven most profoundly when he had his rebirth and evolved to complete the full wolf shift.
Derek Hale was one of the most fascinating, complex, and engaging characters on Teen Wolf for me. He will always be my Blorbo. ❤️

hobby to try: I can barely function with just my current hobbies tbh. I want to get back into cross-stitching. I eventually dream of becoming an old lady with a rocking chair knitting sweaters, so... I need to learn how to knit eventually.
current au: I recently went back and re-read one of my favorite Teen Wolf AU fics (probably prompted by the Tyler Hoechlin overload I received by binge watching Superman & Lois) and that is The Skies Above Are Blue by Trelkez in which Derek Hale is a wedding DJ and Stiles goes to a lot of weddings... but also bodyguard AUs are by far one of my favorite things to exist in fandom, so I'm excited to read the next chapter of these fatal fantasies by @strandnreyes
Spicy/sweet/savory: all of the above, but probably savory right now.
Current obsession: I've recently been weirdly obsessed with this youtube channel called Oceanliner Designs. This guy, Mike Brady, just tells you a shit ton of information about famous ships and shipwrecks with some really interesting recreations. He has a very soothing voice to listen to, so I've been making gifs with his videos on in the background.

Twisters film review
Tumblr media
Written by Shawn Eastridge
Let’s get the important stuff out of the way first: between starring in Richard Linklater’s Everybody Wants Some with Tyler Hoechlin and now with David Corenswet in Twisters, Glen Powell has worked with TWO Supermen in the past decade. A true honor and privilege, and one I hope he doesn’t take for granted.
Am I the only one who’s paying attention to these things? Does this mean I have a Superman problem? Yes and yes? Great. Now that we’ve gotten that out of the way, on to the review!
Twisters is the latest in a batch of sequels that arrives at least two decades later than it should have. (I’m looking at you, Top Gun: Maverick–and don’t think I’ve forgotten about you, Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F.) Maybe I’m just out of the loop and the world has been clamoring for a sequel to the 1996 box office smash, but I have a sneaking suspicion that by the time we officially reached the 21st century, it wasn’t near the top of anyone’s cinematic wish list.
That said, when the Twisters trailer dropped during Super Bowl Sunday, I was more delighted than I’d ever expected to be. (I’m almost positive it had something to do with the added “s” at the end of its title.) That initial delight grew into genuine excitement when I learned the film was being helmed by Lee Isaac Chung, the writer and director of one of my favorite films from the past decade, Minari. (That 2020 release, nominated for six Oscars, including Best Picture and Best Director, was lost in the midst of the pandemic, and is well-worth seeking out if you missed it.) But how would Chung fair helming a multi-million dollar blockbuster sequel? Would his tendency towards low-key human drama be drowned out by the genre’s demands for rip-roaring special effects to appease the popcorn-munching masses? Would he truly put the “s” in “Twisters”??
If Top Gun: Maverick proved anything back in good ol’ 2022, it’s that you can have the best of both worlds: a sequel that not only goes above and beyond expectations but delivers an effort superior to its predecessor. Look, I get a kick from watching Twister as much as the next person. Its special effects still hold up, Bill Paxton and Helen Hunt are a charming duo, and it’s lovely to see a pre-Boogie Nights Philip Seymour Hoffman doing his best Bill and Ted impersonation. But it’s no masterpiece (disasterpiece?). There was always plenty of room for improvement and Twisters rises to the occasion with more thoughtful storytelling and better drawn characters and emotional conflicts. It’s not particularly nuanced, but its heart’s in the right place, and how often can you say that about your average modern day blockbuster? And while Twisters is no Top Gun: Maverick (for one, it doesn’t have the benefit of Tom Cruise insisting that they take on real tornadoes. Wait, how has no one pitched that movie?), when it comes to crowd-pleasing, heartfelt, pulse-pounder blockbusting, Chung and his amazing cast and crew manage to get the job done and then some.
Sure, Twisters’ characters and their relationships with one another are relatively simple and straightforward. Its screenplay, written by Mark L. Smith (The Revenant), based on a story by Joseph Kosinski (director of the aforementioned Top Gun: Maverick), hits just about every plot beat you’d expect. In fact, I’d go so far as to say there might not be a single genuinely surprising moment in this entire story. It’s likely your average moviegoer (a.k.a. Mom and Dad) could call the film’s plot beat for beat from the get-go. But that’s okay! Mom and Dad are allowed to get one right every so often! Chung and Smith aren’t out to revolutionize the genre. Twisters is more of a refinement of the disaster movie formula, and it improves upon its predecessor in nearly every respect.
Besides, whatever shortcomings are evident in the script are cushioned not only by Chung’s confident direction but a top-notch cast led by Daisy Edgar Jones (Normal People, Where the Crawdads Sing) and 2024’s go-to leading man Glen Powell (Top Gun: Maverick, Hit Man). These two are genuine superstars and manage to effortlessly carry this massive, multi-million dollar effort on their shoulders. Rounding them out is an excellent supporting cast, featuring Anthony Ramos (Hamilton, Transformers: Rise of the Beasts), Sasha Lane (American Honey), and Brandon Perea (Nope, The OA). There’s even what threatens to be a stock “along-for-the-ride” journalist character, whose portrayal by Harry Hadden-Paton (Downton Abbey, The Crown) is so sincere and genuine you end up loving him as much as the rest of the raucous crew. These performances are strong enough to elevate the material, grounding it in an emotional reality that might have collapsed in on itself in lesser hands. Kudos to Chung for never missing an opportunity to home in on these characters’ small emotions and character beats, humanizing the whole enterprise.
But what would Twisters be without its tornadoes? And you’ll be pleased to know Twisters’ action delivers, providing solid thrills that end up being more involving than your standard blockbuster. Working with seasoned cinematographer Dan Mindel (Star Trek ‘09, The Force Awakens) and top notch sound and VFX departments, Chung does an expert job of dropping the audience right smack-dab in the middle of nature’s gargantuan terrors. The thrills are more visceral and hard-hitting than the original. And yes, while this might have something to do with the massive improvements in special effects in the nearly 30 years since Twister was released, it also has a lot to do with Chung’s documentary-esque approach to capturing these sequences. It’s a MOVIE THEATER movie in the “go for broke” way you want it to be.
FINAL VERDICT:
Despite its plot contrivances and simplistic characterizations, Twisters has thrills and heart to boot. It’s simultaneously a throwback to the days of simpler, straightforward cinematic thrill rides and an exciting, forward-looking venture that suggests more on the cloudy-skied horizon. As for me, I’d follow Daisy Edgar Jones and Glen Powell into any tornado and I can’t wait to see David Corenswet switch gears and save people from tornadoes in James Gunn’s Superman next year. (And you thought I was going to conclude this review without referencing Superman. Oh, how little you know me.)
I award Twisters 3.5 flying cows out of 5.

Superman & Lois: Facts Con Special Adventure
Tyler Hoechlin was invited to FACTS 2023 in Ghent, Belgium. Since we were going to meet him, we wanted to give him a gift because Superman & Lois is one of our favorite shows, and both Tyler and Bitsie do an amazing job. So, after much thought, we realized that Tyler still didn't have his own comic of him as Superman and we decided that he should have one, even if it was a short short story. In this way we hired the cartoonist Daniel Mainé (Dynamite) and the colorist Manoli Martínez (Scout Comics, Action Labs...) to carry out this story that we hope you like.

Teen Wolf movie 2
Do you think Tyler Hoechlin will be willing to return if a sequel is somehow greenlit? because it is my headcanon that since there was no physical body that Derek survives, and the fix it fics have been amazing because I think Sterek is almost canon; fans just have to bring him back from the dead and have Derek confess his feelings.
i honestly cannot imagine a Teen Wolf Movie 2 being greenlit at this point—although, as stated in a previous recent ask, i am absolutely not any sort of authority when it comes to this.
as for hoechlin, i really don't know? i honestly don't read that much about the actors lives. like, i take my kids to cons and listen to the panels bc it's fun, and i enjoy saying hi at the signing tables etc (although that's becoming more of a rarity as many of the handlers have stopped letting you, unless you're paying for signatures/selfies etc, which i don't) but beyond that, i only really know what i see on here tbh. like, i don't necessarily seek stuff out, y'know? other than what projects they're working on next (but that's mostly dylan tbh!). so, i don't really know if he's talked about it or not?
but hey, who knows?
MAYBE DEREK WILL COME BACK FROM SUPERHELL JUST TO STOP THE MADNESS THAT IS HIS SON BEING PACKED OFF TO LIVE WITH FUCKING SCOOTT MCCALL AND HIS FUCKING ZOMBIE WIFE ALLISON ARGENT INSTEAD OF ANOTHER SURVIVING HALE OR, Y'KNOW, THE SHERIFF WHO WAS LITERALLY HIS PROXY GRANDAD FOR 16 FUCKING YEARS BECAUSE WTAF IS THAT BULLSHIT ALL ABOUT?!
lol i might still be a little sore about this.
and yeah it's funny, but—for all his sins—jeff davis did kind of end up giving us canon sterek, in his own queer-yet-weird-ass-queerbaity way, didn't he? ever true to form, i guess; at least he's predicable!
as for the fix-it-fics, omg you are so right @scrumptiousbirdgardener, they are so wonderful!! ppl are so bloody talented, right? i've not (yet?) written one myself. i only tend to write oneshots—longer fic being my kryptonite—and i feel it would benefit from something a bit longer, imho, as there is SO much to fix. but maybe i'll try and expand on this wee drabble one day...
thanks for the ask!

Tyler Hoechlin- Our Love
Late Night Talks
April 2012
Tyler and I seem to have our deepest chats late at night. Tonight is no different. We're laying outside looking up at the stars. We've been talking about our childhood memories, what school was like for us, but now it's turned into talking about where we see each other in 10 years time
"I'd like to have done more TV shows maybe some movies. I'd like to be married, have had children or having children"
"How many children would you like?" I ask
"2 or 3. What about you? Where do you see yourself in 10 years time?"
"The same really, maybe more films than TV shows. I really want to be a mom. My childhood was great, but I guess I would have loved at least one sibling so I'd like them same amount of children as you. I'd love to be married, have some dogs" Tyler then notices something in the sky
"Look a shooting star. Make a wish" Tyler tells me. I close my eyes and make my wish. I hope all of that can come true with Tyler. I open my eyes back up and look over at my boyfriend who's looking at me
"What?" I chuckle
"I hope we can be lying here in 10 years time with our children looking up at the stars thinking back to this moment"
"I hope so to"
May 2012
Once again we're having one of our usually conversations late at night. We've had a little bit to much wine, well I have and I'm a little tipsy, now we're cuddled up on the bean bag talking about what we think could happen after death
"Ghosts are 1oo% real"
"I'm not sure" Tyler replies
"They are, trust me. My parents house is haunted"
"How so?"
"Things would go missing"
"Right and that's not because you would put something down and forget about where you put it?"
"No" I gasp "why would you think that I'm the one forgetting where I put things?"
"Because Ive known you for 2 years now and been your boyfriend for over a year now"
"Whatever. Ghosts are still real"
"Of course babe" Tyler kisses my forehead while I pout a little
"I think we should go on a ghost hunt"
"Maybe one day we will"
June 2012
"What's your biggest fear?" I ask Tyler as we lay in the bath together at 1am since we had a late shoot
"Not being good enough" he sighs
"You put to much pressure on yourself. Your an amazing actor and a beautiful person inside and out. I love you”
“I love you too. What about you?”
“Having my heart broken, having that kind of trust broken”
“Promise I’ll never do either. Your it for me. The one I want to spend my life with”
“That’s not a proposal is it?”
“No” Tyler chuckles “not yet. One day though, but lest move in with each other first. Not right now maybe next year sometime”
“I’d like that”
July 2012
Next month Tyler and I will be going to Comic Con with our cast mates, we have decided to still keep our relationship quiet so we know we need to be carful during interviews especially because the fans want us to be dating
“When do you think we should announce or relationship?” Tyler ask me as we tidy up the kitchen before going to bed
“Not yet. I like keeping our relationship privet. Why you asking? Do you want us to go public?”
“One day, but only when we’re both ready”
