You know once the two start dating Byakuran is never going to let Tsuna pay for anything ever again
Bold to assume he let Tsuna pay for anything when they weren’t dating. Byakuran is the master of “oh I went ahead and ordered yours with mine don’t worry about it!” and won’t accept money in return. Tsuna tried to sneak money somewhere in Byakruan’s dorm to pay him back once and found triple the amount slipped into a pocket after he left. He just thinks Byakuran is a very generous very rich friend.

✮⋆˙Toge Inumaki
Safe words Toge uses (All not used)
NOT PROOFREAD, JUST ONE SEXUAL JOKE, EVERYTHING IS ALL FLUFF. I think.
----Salmon (shake), fish flakes (okaka), kelp (konbu), mustard leaf (takana), Salmon roe (Sujiko), caviar (ikura), spicy cod roe (Mentaiko), tuna (tsuna), tuna mayo (tsuna mayo)
𓆝 𓆟 𓆞 𓆝 𓆟
It would've been better if someone as lively as you weren't in Toge's life. It's been so hard on him ever since you went on that 3 week mission, leaving him all alone, with no one to talk to.
Of course that's an exaggeration. Yuuta and Panda were there talking to him, but it's not the same when the love of his life talks to him.
It's quite the predicament, really. He thinks that you don't know about his crush on you, but you know that he has a crush on you and he doesn't know that you know. (Good lord-) Toge didn't really hide it well, making it obvious with how much more eye contact he made with you. Who wouldn't pick up on the hints?
As the reasonable person you are, you decided to wait. If he doesn't say anything, you won't say anything about it either. Yuji says otherwise, he wants you to blast Toge's love life on speaker. He's just a little excited, that's all.
Though it also helps you, since you're not too sure how you can reciprocate the feeling back, when you haven't done that much romance in your life yet. It's an odd feeling, you being the target of someone's love, and not it being the other way around. It's hard to think about it when you yourself haven't experienced romantic love. (But it's not hard to know when someone likes you, given they act all weird around the said person)
---
"Ikura." He grumbled, expressing his sadness, kicking a pebble while walking.
It's been 2 and a half weeks, your mission coming to an end in a few days. Toge doesn't know what to do for the rest of those few days, he doesn't even know how he survived the past 2 weeks.
He walked back to his respective room, mind blank as he threw himself onto his bed. Toge didn't have that many missions this morning, but he did feel a little drowsy.
He tried to fight off the sleepiness, he doesn't know why, but he did so.
Toge- slept. He failed the battle against his eyes, sleep weighing down on his eyelids. Although, Toge found it weird when it felt like the best nap he had gotten when he woke up. His hair was oddly well brushed too.
At first, his vision was a little blurry, but as he rubbed it, he saw a silhouette of a face, looking at him.
He jolted up, lowering his scarf as he was ready to use his curse technique, but then he saw your face. Toge lit up to the sight of you, immediately hugging you.
"Toge! Surprised to see me? I got back a little early from the mission!"
Toge nodded and rubbed your back, “Konbu” he whispered, feeling your shoulder blades. He's an odd guy, really. He might've done that to try and tickle you.
"Hello to you too. I know you definitely missed me. I actually thought my mission would end a week early but the curse kept on duplicating and it was..tiring. Anyway, you doing good?”
“Shake,” he nodded from your shoulder. Toge hugged you more tightly, but what can you do? You were away for so long, it's understandable for him to get touchy feely.
"I got us some snacks from my mission, you wanna eat it?" You patted his back, trying to pull away from him. Toge kept his hands wrapped around you, only to release the hug and type out something.
“U owe me. You left me here for too long :(“
You patted his shoulder, smiling at his response, “Of course, what do you want?”
Toge pondered for a second, before immediately typing on his phone.
“Gibe me s kuss”
“Huh?” You squinted, looking at his phone.
Toge pulled his phone back and corrected his mistakes.
“Give me a kiss”
You stopped, looking him in the eyes. He’s become bolder, hasn’t he? First it was hugs, then cuddles, now kisses. At this point, who wouldn’t think that you guys aren’t dating?
"Who's the submissive one now?" You snickered, shaking him from his shoulder. Toge rolled his eyes, typing again as he grunts from your shakes.
"You can dominate me..in bed ;)"
He smiled, you can see it even if his scarf was up.
"Please, I do not want to see you type that out again. You're so cringe Toge."
The both of you were silent, then a sudden burst of laughter cut the silence. It was fun. The comfort both of you got from each other was evident. You shook Toge as the giggles and snorts continued, but Toge was somewhat serious about the previous text before that.
He loved the way you laugh. It was a wonderful sound to him. He always appreciates that he could get a good laugh out of you.
When it started getting silent, he grabbed your hand, still smiling widely.
"Tuna tuna."
"Yeah?" You asked also smiling, reciprocating the gesture. Toge hesitantly intertwined his fingers with yours, lifting up his scarf and looking away.
You giggled a little, getting closer to his face. You noticed his ears turning into a soft pink. "He's so adorable."
Toge dragged his eyes to look at you, trying to maintain eye contact. He made a little finger heart to you, still being a little shy.
"I love you too Toge," you bumped foreheads with him gently, leaning in to his cheek to give a kiss.
Toge felt it. It was warm. He wished it was planted on his lips instead, but he could only hope for more.
"Shake," he purses, but you couldn't see it, his scarf was in the way. He hadn't noticed that you told him a genuine I love you yet, so you repeated it.
"Toge, I love you. Would you do me an honor of being my boyfriend?"
His eyes widened, face snapped to look at you more clearly. Toge hugged you again, this time pushing you into the bed and wrapping his legs around you. He didn't stop hugging you, still surprised from the sudden confession. But he should've expected it.
You laid there for a while, Toge hugging you from beside. Who would've known? He then pulled out his phone in the hug, typing them deleting, as if he were unsure of what to say. He finally managed to make a sentence.
"Can you do the thing again where you focused your cursed energy in your ears to deflect commands from me? Just this once please?"
He showed you the typed out sentence, you wondered why he had to hesitate a little.
"Sure, give me a moment.."
As cursed energy flowed to your ear, you were ready.
Toge took a deep breath, looking at you in the eyes once again and saying,
"I love you"
Your breath hitched, you never expected it to be this emotional. Toge is never this serious before. And he just showed how much he liked you.
You were about to cry, but you pulled into his hug. Finding more comfort and warmth in his arms.
"I always loved your hugs Toge. I hope we can continue hugging for as long as we are able to."
Toge Inumaki nodded, shifting his position to get a better cuddle from you as he big spooned you.
____
Wasn't it nice to know your crush had also liked you too?

was thinking about takeshi and how he's my favorite brand of unconditional devotion btw. the utter and absolute and all-consuming kind that runs so deep to the very core and is so intrinsic and fundamental to it, it can only express itself in the most casual and natural and certain way. without second thoughts, without any room for doubts or for any moral dilemma to be had over it, because of course he ought to always be breathing and living for his chosen person first and foremost. of course he ought to hang on their every word and make them true no matter what, no matter what he has to do to make it happen, no matter what he has to do to other people to make it happen, and no matter what it might turn him into in the process. because it's obviously the way the world should be for his chosen person. at their feet, ready to bend over backwards and break and build itself again to better answer to all their needs even if they don't ask it for it. it's the only right way it should be for them, and of course takeshi's going to do his utmost at all times to make it a reality as much as possible.
and his devotion comes out as naturally as breathing, comes out lighthearted and nonchalant like he might as well be talking about the weather, but it's not unaware of itself. it's not that takeshi doesn't know it's unhealthy and wrong and that he's willing to go entirely too far in its name for anyone's good. it's not that he wouldn't hear you out if you were to sit him down and explain to him just why he needs to tone it down a little (a lot). logically, he'd agree with you and know you're right. and then he'd tell you he's still not going to do anything whatsoever about it. that he's not bothered by it and doesn't feel the need to change anything to his attitude. makes it a point to never let anyone or anything sway him even an inch in the stand he took when it comes to that, no matter how many thousand of times you might go over the subject with him.
because the morality of his devotion isn't the point at all. is entirely irrelevant to it and doesn't affect the way he expresses it all. it's not the metric with which he draws a line in the sand to hold it accountable to. because the thing is, takeshi's entire world revolves around tsuna--tsuna is his entire world altogether, and it's just a matter of fact, that simple. to him it's a truth as unchanging as the sky being blue, and so being the way he is according to that truth is the only way he can imagine being that'd feel right to him. and so the actual and only metric that matters here is "would tsuna be happier if i were to do this?" and/or "is this something tsuna needs me to do?"
and like. i don't think takeshi ever stops being a kind person capable of compassion and understanding and mercy and forgiveness even ten years later once they became mafia through and through. and i don't think either he grows up to be feared and called a monster per se despite the things they inevitably had to do during those ten years (and the things they'll inevitably keep having to do as long as they keep being mafia), at least not in the way, for example, they'll never stop fearing and calling mukuro one. but i do think that among the tenth gen, he ends up being the one with the most ruthless, merciless and horrific blood on his hands of that particular and distinct loving kind. you know the one i mean, right? he comes to be the one most expected and the one first expected to be willing and to take it upon himself to go through with it when the need arises. and to think little of it after, if anything at all. all in the name of making tsuna's reign as easy on him as possible.
and it's to the point where it's the kind of blood that makes even mukuro pause at times. or, when takeshi is the one coming up with solutions himself during meetings, makes even reborn blink. not because it's unjustified or wouldn't be safe or efficient or anything of the sort, but because it is unwarrantedly thorough in its retaliation. and sometimes, at times like this, he's the one tsuna needs to step in for the most, because he's the only one who can reason with him that "yes, this would work in getting rid of our problem" but "no, please, don't do that takeshi". because if tsuna is the only thing that infers on just how much and in what ways he'll let himself be devoted to him, then of course, he's also the only one takeshi's willing to reign himself in for without second thoughts. because he'd hate to ever do something tsuna would disapprove of or wouldn't want him to do. or do something that'd make tsuna see him differently or love him back less even in the slightest.
and it's also like. his devotion isn't an undisciplined one. it's not one he doesn't have control over, the very opposite. it's a very purposeful and conscious choice he chooses to keep making over and over again every step of the way, and he taught himself to have control over it, to know when it's needed and/or wanted, and how much and in which ways it is when it happens, and to keep it down otherwise. and, yes, to also reign it back in at tsuna's request at times when it still slips past his control. because it's all about making tsuna's happiness easier and secure and long-lasting, and never about burdening him with just how committed he is to do that.
so it comes down to this: takeshi willing to go above and beyond and more for tsuna unless tsuna explicitly asks him not to. and to tsuna needing to ask him not to every now and then. and to other people pointing out to him how too many times tsuna's already needed to stop him, and that maybe there's a hint for him to take there. and to takeshi seeing the hint, looking it straight in the eye and recognizing it for what it is and just. deciding it doesn't apply to him because it's all perfectly normal behavior to him. because it's the only kind of behavior that makes sense to him and feels right.
and so—to circle back to my first point—he can only express his devotion as naturally as breathing, so casually, almost like it's something inconsequential and not worth talking about despite how unmistakably it couldn't be further away from being the truth. it's the only way he could have always known how to express it, because, after all, who has ever taken time to ponder about the details and the hows of the way they breathe?
and i, for one, absolutely eat that shit up every time, thanks for coming to my ted talk <3
#katekyo hitman reborn#khr#khr meta#can i even call this one?? well i'm going to anyway lol#yamamoto takeshi#sawada tsunayoshi#i've never been normal about devotion in stories and characters and won't ever be so sorry if this doesn't make sense#also this is not to say the 10th gen loves tsuna any less unconditionally this isn't a competition#it's just me saying the particularities and specificities of the way takeshi specifically does it appeal to me the most#which is one of the reasons why i have such a big soft spot for 8027#and it's not a problem in their relationship either btw that's also not what i'm saying#like tsuna doesn't mind it and absolutely /does/ reciprocate it 100%#he's just careful to keep an eye out so none of them will lose themselves along the way#also this is within the context of me shifting canon slightly to the left in the way where the 10th gen loves tsuna /so much/#they could just as well actually and properly worship him as a god and it still wouldn't make a single difference#and me liking to lean into that fully and taking it to extremes and it inevitably becoming some extent of dark#because considering the environment canon makes them express it (the mafia) it's like. well how else are they meant to keep it alive#and make sure it survives through it without giving it sharp teeth and claws and jagged edges of its own you know?#so if you feel like this is some kind of ooc-ness you're not wrong#but also consider: i'm not wrong either <3#anyway consider also: unconditional devotion running /so/ deep down to your marrow and to your very essence#even in the face of the whole world telling you how wrong it is and how insane and unhinged you are for it and condemning you for it#it still wouldn't so much as make you consider the thought they might have a point#and i genuinely EAT that shit up every time i love to see it <3

So I know you talked about Tsuna and his guardians in Soul Society, but what about the other way around? How would Ichigo interact with Vongola and who would his guardians be?
(I kind of like the idea of Dying Will Flames 'burning' reishi. Using it as a fuel source like wood in a fire. Which means Hollows don't often bother Flame Actives since they tend to register as nulls due to all their spiritual power being used up)
Hmmmmmm............This is fun thought. Honestly I feel like Ichigo would just SENSE a child in need of a big brother in Bullshit Shonen Protag Messes all on his own and somehow manifest from the shadows to take Tsuna under his wing tbh.
A baby Sky with wonky Flames due to a seal would just BLARE OUT into the universe and Ichigo would KNOW the second he got near Namimori. I do love the idea of DWF burning reishi. Also love Hollows avoiding it because the "null" feeling is also followed by rumors of them EATING hollows despite being human. (I imagine a null is a giant sign for hollows and others, because everyone should have SOME reishi but they just...appear to not. Now....Ichigo's Elements....Hm. Sky is of course, as we know, Ichigo. Storm: Grimmjow just feels right to me. Hes attached now. Sun: Nel my beloved. Lightning: Chad. He's such a protective little shit all around. Rain: Starrk I think. Mist: Kisuke. I feel it in my soul Cloud: Yoruichi. She didn't mean to okay.
Tsuna and his elements are about to get SO trained up. SOSO trained up. Ichigo isn't going to let him go in blind and weak. He recognizes a protector's soul in Tsuna and he knows exactly what will happen the moment Tsuna has to step up for his people.
He just...needs the right kind of handling.
Then he finds out about the seal and OH is he not pleased about THAT at all. Good thing he still has Kisuke's cane and can push a soul out of a body. Once the chains that are wrapped around his soul are visible its not HARD to get rid of them. Speeds some things up. Also actually kind of pisses Ichigo off very much, how Tsuna was handled and how the training was being handled. Yeah no. This is HIS kid now, fuck off.
Vongola isn't going to know what hit it at all

Hii! May I request domestic moment headcanons for an established relationship between reader and Gokudera? ❤️
.𖥔 ݁ ˖ ❝ 𝐁𝐈𝐆𝐆𝐄𝐒𝐓 𝐓𝐒𝐔𝐍𝐃𝐄𝐑𝐄 ! ❞
Tumblr media
⋆.˚ 𝐏𝐀𝐈𝐑𝐈𝐍𝐆. g.hayato x reader .
⋆.˚ 𝐒𝐔𝐌𝐌𝐀𝐑𝐘. general headcanons about an established relationship between our biggest tsundere and our lovely reader which is you of course .
⋆.˚ 𝐖𝐎𝐑𝐃𝐂𝐎𝐔𝐍𝐓. ~0.65 .
⋆.˚ 𝐂𝐎𝐍𝐓𝐄𝐍𝐓. fluff. f!reader. self - made au ! spoiler - free. safe for minors! crappy writing. kinda short asf. gokudera may seem ooc. no idea if I met the condition of domestic moments — actually I think I missed terribly. please forgive me dear anon </3
Tumblr media
no.1 biggest tsundere ever existing in the katekyo hitman reborn universe. but what should I say, no shaming or no shame because if you tell him that he'll deny those outrageous accusations. how dare YOU call him tsundere? like, he would never (secretly doesn't mind cause it's you, shhhh).
Gokudera is the kind of person who gets easily angered and if someone messes with you, he'll send them straight to hell. no joke. yes serious. I swear to GOD if he sees one hair missing, hell will break out.
oh my god. you know what, Gokudera is actually possessive (+little bit obsessive). he hates sharing, he also wants to be your number one, because you are his first place (erm). he's sending death glares everywhere, and when your classmate asked for a pen, he will not be spared from the heated up stare.
this is a opposite attracts relationship. compared to him, you're lowkey chill and fun to hangout with. not an overly sunshine person, but not exactly a moon person. probably the star person.
by the way if you don't understand something in school, make sure to tell him. he will help you out of course. study sessions are HOURS long, that is if you don't mind. gokudera will try his best to shorten those hours if you're complaining though.
not to forget, he probably chills only at your place because your parents are super kind to him and his apartment is kinda empty, so he likes your place a lot. but if you two want some time alone, you're at his house.
I imagine that you two often have movie nights, watching movies all night even though you have school tomorrow. gokudera just to love wrapping his arm around you. as soon as he noticed that you fell asleep, he'll quietly turn off the tv, because he wants to watch the rest with you awake.
you're his background, so make sure that you have a pretty picture of him on your screen.
the type of boyfriend who is thirty minutes early for your date. that's actually so sweet because you sometimes try to be earlier, yet you always find him waiting for you.
one time while he was waiting for you, a girl spoke to him to ask for his number but he automatically turned 180 and began yapping about how beautiful you are and how he could never cheat on you while also showing off his wallpaper. and then you caught her quickly walking away, thinking he was some kind of freaky stalker. you know how embarrassed he was when you brought up the topic, only telling you of course he told her how amazing you are.
there are moments in your relationship where he actually is very calm, watching you closely. hell, he has a notebook where he writes every little detail about you.
girl, you're perfect. in his eyes you're the most perfect girl in the world. there is not a second where he thought otherwise even if you two have an argument, even if he thinks you're annoying sometimes. negative thoughts about you perish as soon as they came.
tsuna or you? he doesn't know actually. the most difficult question he ever had. but after years into your sweet, sweet, sweet relationship, he'd eventually choose you. trust. all those fanfics where he chose tsuna is fake (lowkey). just keep in mind that he'd rather die than betraying you OR tsuna (his second crush).
uri likes you a lot - his box animal is like him. that'd explain why uri hangs all over you. and sometimes he's jealous. sometimes is everytime.
bonus ! remember when a boy asked for your number but ran away because he saw some devil behind you? it was him.
oh! don't forget when someone threatened you and gokudera covered your eyes with one hand while punching that punk with his other hand.

KHR Chapters 378 - 379
Tumblr media
I've once again fallen into my re-reading habit, I really should stop but I just want to be sure of every decision I make for my fic but anyway.
This time I was on a mission to find that one chapter where Nana was directly confronted with the truth of what was going on (context: Bermuda attacked the Sawada house and saw an opportunity in Nana, therefore he attacked her but Iemitsu intervened and protected her, losing his boss watch just as Bermuda had wanted).
I vaguely remembered this scene very simply as: Iemitsu protected Nana, Nana fainted from the shock, she woke up and thought it was all a dream.
Now, HOWEVER, after re-reading the chapter, the whole thing has gained a new meaning for me.
First of all, Nana didn't faint because of the attack — which was what I thought had happened, after all, this was her first time being attacked and it's natural to faint in the face of that. But nope, Nana fainted because she saw that Iemitsu was bleeding.
Second of all, Bianchi is the one to beg them to lie to Nana about what happened. She goes on to say things like: "Why does Maman have to go through something so painful?!" and "Please, when Maman regains consciousness, tell her all of this was just a dream!", which is something I never expected out of her.
This kind of action from Bianchi is unexpected, and contradictory to what we had been shown of her.
Tumblr media
[Chapter 236, Boycott, Tsuna shouting at Bianchi and Bianchi answering: "I haven't told them anything. These girls came to this conclusion through their own will and strength."]
Back in chapter 236, Tsuna suspects TYL!Bianchi of having told Kyoko and Haru about the mafia, because they were demanding to be included in the fighting. TYL!Bianchi is rather calm about the whole thing, while she didn't tell them, she doesn't make any kind of move to stop them from knowing. She doesn't protest against them knowing, actually, she supports their boycott.
Tumblr media
[Chapter 236, Boycott, Bianchi saying, "Sorry Tsuna, I'm together with the girls on this."]
TYL!Bianchi supports the girls being included in some kind of way. Had she been against this, we would have known. But she's not, furthermore, she goes as far as explaining why she thinks their boycott is failing. She gives two reasons as to why:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
"They don't want you to change" Bianchi explains to the girls that the situation is being kept secret from them because the boys fear "knowledge might change them". That once they know the truth, they will change into someone else. "Thinking that the person they're interested in will never change, that's just a man's fantasy and nothing else." Bianchi herself seems to think the whole notion is stupid, which is a sure sign that she's in favor of the girls knowing. She wouldn't claim the notion as just a "man's fantasy" if she didn't at least think it was a tad bit nonsensical. Bianchi knows the mafia, she knows the kind of power knowledge holds in such situations. Withholding precious information has never done anyone any good (she's literally seen this in her brother).
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
2. Pride "Those boys think men should protect women. They're betting their prides on not showing you the ugly sides of this world." While Bianchi calls men who think like that "illogical" and "selfish", she also expresses admiration for the men who risk their lives for such pride.
TYL!Bianchi supports the girls' right to know, listening to their side of the story and understanding where they are coming from, but she also offers to show the girls where the boys are coming from.
Anyway, TYL!Bianchi shows a behavior that contradicts what Bianchi will go on to do with Nana. I do understand that their situations are different (the girls are IN the future and it starting to be increasingly obvious how dangerous it could get for them if they don't know at least some of what's going on), BUT
Nana is a fucking adult.
Nana is married and has a child and SHOULD have the damn emotional maturity to be included in the know.
Everyone goes on about, and rather strongly at that, how they CANNOT under ANY circumstances get Nana involved in the fight. But like, that's an adult? That's an adult woman who has a 14 year old child?? Okay, fine, don't get her involved in the fighting, but she should at least know WHAT THE FUCK is going on.
ALSO, she wouldn't have been in danger HAD SHE JUST KNOWN. Ignorance is never bliss for this reason. If you think that not teaching someone about danger is for their safety, then you are a freaking idiot and WILL have that person walking right into danger because of the ignorance you contributed to.
I just think someone should tell Nana about the mafia. Maybe she will take better care of Tsuna and divorce Iemitsu.

Vongola Kids Weapon Use Cases
(Space here in case I ever do this again with another group[s])
This is a really, REALLY long weapon analysis of estimations of how they would be used in a more realistic way. Disclaimer: This is a thought experiment, does not take flame uses into account in most cases unless that is the explicit only use of the weapon, does not cover animal box weapons. This is the best estimation I could do, and is likely not perfect due to this being a bunch of anime weapons, despite this, i think it gives potentially a good idea of how they would work in fights, though some would have to be toned down repercussions or re-designed based how they worked even if used realistically as some would harm the user significantly, so keep that in mind when reading that this is not to dictate how to write it.
with that in mind, let's get started.
Tsunayoshi Sawada
Weapons: X-Gloves, Cambio-Forma Mantle, Cambio-Forma Knuckle
X-Gloves
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
These DO have subtle differences to how it would affect their hits, and their WEIGHT, each being definitely heavier than the last.
The gloves themselves, on the first two iterations have very little points where they are much harder than a goalie glove, it will hurt but at the same time the blows are going to be slightly softened because of the material they're made of.
The fingers would not actually bend all that well, these gloves are THICK and would restrict some movement you would not likely be able to make a closed fist, ESPECIALLY not on the Vongola gear version where there is actual metal in the joints. and YES this metal goes all they way around the joints leaving VERY little ability to position fingers further.
however one thing for sure is that should you be hit with the actual metal of the gloves in the 2nd and 3rd version it's going to fucking hurt. However the 3rd version would require more arm strength to heft the same way without issue. should it have been realistic the change would have actually affected Tsuna's flight due to how movement would have to be adjusted unless you want to argue he already had enough strength that it would be unnoticeable, which honestly with having to preform x-burner and the pressure that would put on his body, i could see that.
Essentially, the best way of using these sans flames is essentially back handing someone really hard on the second and third, though.
Cambio Forma Mantle
Tumblr media
The mantle is a bit harder to tell exactly how it's used is, it seems that the cape itself more protects from off shoot of flame and is used to absorb flame into it when hit, however there's the hard part that seems to be based off a buckler shield in use that's attached to tsuna's hand.
Which is a rather Ideal weapon, however unlike the buckler it's more flat meaning it's made to take blows head on instead of completely deflecting them.
This is an issue, as blocking blows like this can sometimes stagger your hands and injure limbs through the shield, which is more likely because you're taking the full force of the attack and are trying to tough it out, vs a rounded shield redirecting some of that energy allowing the weapon to slide off and giving less surface area to take less energy into it, this is why bigger shields aren't completely flat but have rounder metal in the middle, or are curved like cop shields.
Fortunately for Tsuna he usually only has to use it once or twice before he can break out of the position he's in so that he can give his hand time to recover.
Cambio Forma Knuckle
Tumblr media
(note: I used the manga version because it was clearer how it was used as you can actually see tsuna's hands. and for some reason the anime added additional pincers to it?)
first the dual pincers obviously are going to be able to stab and slash the opponent, however this makes the middle part on top redundant.
Which is thicker and much more blunt, thus made to bash the opponent, however with the outer pieces they would slow down any hit that could be made and make the blunt area a little less effective.
however it could be used similarly to a bat with a nail in it, the middle part being more for the stability and as a back up if one misses. otherwise the weapon has a very specific proper hit area it can really be used most effectively from the front. Though the sides while would hurt, or the top, is clearly not the intended use of the weapon and thusly is not the aim of the user when it comes to using them for attacks.
additionally using a weapon like this can put heavy pressure on the wrist, so if he hits something hard or heavy he'll probably feel it really bad.
Hayato Gokudera
Weapons: Dynamite, Flame Arrow, G's Archery
Dynamite + Vongola gear version
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I am going to have to mark all of the dynamite with "Okay so there's not exactly a way to use these WRONG other than being within range of them."
However the more he uses the more dangerous it is, as it inevitably will become a bigger explosion, making the safe range shrink with each he throws, resulting in heat burns at the minimum level, potentially being thrown back, to actual burns and being thrown into something. Due to the rocket bombs being made to fire off further away, they are much safer to use against opponents than the regular dynamite, unless you aim them improperly or their flight is obstructed.
vongola gear cambio forma because that is JUST more effective and effiencent rocket bombs that seek out the opponent, and hold the same caveats as the previous ones
Flame Arrow
Tumblr media
Let's talk recoil
SO here's a massive problem with flame arrow. It's attached to the entirety of the arm. This is an issue for one particular reason. Stiffening the entire arm for these blows can help but with it attached like this, the recoil is going to spread over your entire arm.
Not to mention, gokudera is clearly not holding it with that hand. He always needs to press down with his other one. Meaning there is a lot of free force reoil of this gun slamming into his knuckles even when he is holding it with his other hand. this weapon's long term use would have resulted in many injuries.
Especially an explosive shot like flame arrow is. this is a known issue with gun use where eventually even lighter guns over years of use can cause wrist, shoulder, elbow and back pain. Even with good technique.
But flame arrow, being an explosive weapon would have significantly more kickback to it, even more than most one handed weapons would. After battles, Gokudera would be sore all over even using this thing correctly, not that he would notice with the injuries after most battles in future arc.
Now to give you an idea on how most explosive round launchers prevent recoil here is an image of a very rudimentary rocket launcher in use and a more modern one, both of which you'll notice have roughly the same sort of over the shoulder build, with exactly two hands use and a secondary/tertiary part that goes against the shoulder ALL of this to minimize recoil and give control over what is ONE explosive round being shot out
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The part on the shoulder is also cushioned in some way as well as to not damage the person as well. Additionally the Exhaust/Reload area is BEHIND the person because actual BURNING EXHAUST GAS comes out of there. Gokudera does load this thing with a physical explosive round and should that have worked like it should, flame arrow's positioning would absolutely result in burns. Flame arrow if used realistically is just as much of a threat to its user as its target if not more.
Cambio Forma G's Archery
Tumblr media
Let's talk bow strength and how heavy draw strings are(not that this would matter because some how gokudera has arms after having flame arrow attached to them) so, here's the thing, a lot of bows even short bows, can be heavy, they're not intended to be held outstretched for a long time.
Bow size dictates how long the range and how much power you can get it. Bigger the bow bigger the force and range. pretty simple. HOWEVER, it also dictates the more strength you need in your arm to not only pull that string back, but also BEND THE BOW WITH IT.
When you are pulling a bow, you are pulling all of it so it pulls back on a thick and heavy bow
Tumblr media
As you can imagine you FEEL that most archers will NOT hold the bow for more than a few moments at a time and if they aren't capable of taking the shot as fast as they thought they would, they will slowly rescind the arrow and start moving until they can and quickly shoot again.
Under no realistic scenario are you holding this thing drawn while running around that my friends is what a CROSSBOW is for.
Fortunately for Gokudera unlike most archers, he has no reason to worry about arrow waste, meaning he can draw the bow and release it immediately with no problems making it much easier for him to volley arrows until it hits something(not recommended as it will tire your arm a lot but it is an option for him) However adding more arrows does not affect the effort, you just won't be getting the most accurate shot on all of them.
and yes bows still do have recoil but it is ONLY from the string, so a strong steady hand will never have the same problem as with a gun as it can only do so much more than what you put into it. The recoil to the body comes from whatever hand is used to hold the main bow and not the draw string
so even though his shots with his storm flames are REALLY powerful, it doesn't wear on his body as much in this form because the power sending it out is not the storm flames but rather the actual bow.
Takeshi Yamamoto
Weapons: Shigure Kintoki, Four Irregular Swords, Necklace of Rain
Shigure Kintoki
Tumblr media
This is basically the o katana, it's a pretty standard weapon with a medium length, you don't really use the back of it's blade, while it is a trope that it won't harm people, this is factually incorrect, and you are putting a immense amount of force in a thin line, which is actually worse than something more spread out than the flat of it. If you use a sword this way, expect internal damages like broken bones and internal bleeding to potentially ruptured organs depending where and how hard you hit.
these are decently heavy on the arms but lighter than most european blades of their size due to how the metal is but it means they can succumb to heavier blades if hit right. you will feel moving them and the longer you fight the more draining the swing can become. But because it's recommended to block and parrying with a katana is still using that flat with a lot more hits to it, you will start to feel it in your hands as you cannot quite rely on that guard stopping an incoming blade while it slides against your own. Really, it's the perfect target for attacco di squalo because it gives a GOOD point to take a lot of force into that will travel into the hands of the user.
You typically do not see much more than quick katana smacks together because of this. additionally this is not a stabbing blade, you CAN use it to stab but it's much more of a slashing blade, meaning tight corridors are it's enemy. but also meaning a katana user is much more likely to aim for a swipe of some sort other than anything else.
Cambio Forma Four Irregular Swords
Tumblr media
First, this thing is going to be heavy to one hand since this is clearly the length of a strictly two handed blade. It is longer than an odachi with a handle that can clearly support 2 hands not that Yamamoto ever fucking uses it because his hands are busy with with the 3 other blades. the weighting on it though is absolutely fucked, the top would be much lighter than the rest of the blade, in conclusion even using this sword is going to make your arm exhausted within a few minutes using it like how yamamoto does.
Additionally european blades are fundamentally built different than japanese blades(building a sword with both techniques would probably make it frail or have a weak point where it changes resulting in the top snapping off), their techniques, and their weaknesses and strengths are all different, fusing something like this means you have a completely random ass strength/weakness depending on what part of the blade you're using making it difficult to use if you're not familiar with both sword types at BEST of cases(which we know Yamamoto isn't), what yamamoto intends to be a non-lethal hit could slice someone by accident with how the blade is 1 half a european blade as an example.
Another thing with a long blade like this, no matter whether you're holding it correctly or not, you need to commit to EVERY SWING, there is barely if ANY room to fake out your opponent due to the weight of it.
It should be noted, there is no precedent for using 4 swords mid battle, however multiple daggers could be used in one hand to slash an opponent, or catch their weapon, though admittedly, only one would be a better choice for this. The other potential better use for there being 3 extra is if they were all different lengths, allowing the user to switch between a multitude of options. However all the swords despite being called irregular swords, the 3 are all almost identical length.
A larger range in difference would have suited the user better, however there is used for tanto being a sort of counter blade, both for blocking in-coming attacks, or if your own sword is making an opening to slash them with the smaller weapon. They're pretty light weight and are not too much of a problem, even in longer fights.
Of course with all swords one needs to be mindful on how and when they take direct blocking instead of redirecting. Taking a full block to stop all energy of your opponents blade will always send a little shock to your hand.
Ryohei
Weapons: Boxing gloves(Maximum break and Vongola Gear)
Boxing gloves
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Ryohei who doesn't have much change over his weapons, he's not really give a lot of options in the series unlike the main three(not like he'd like to diverge from boxing let's be honest) so they can all be lumped in as direct upgrades weapon wise.
Generally though his use case is punch and punch hard much like with actual boxing gloves, really they just serve to protect his hands more as he's doing it. with a lot of martial arts and close contact sports you are going to feel the weight of your own hits on someone else, and you are absolutely capable of causing your hand to bleed just from punching another person.
Ryohei has likely slowly toughened up his hands as regular boxers do so it's unlikely to happen to him unless it's a longer fight(but with his time limit fighting this is a mute note unless you're before cambio forma) the best places for him to target is usually the head, but punches to the kidney area or other such areas are also usually really good.
However the trouble for him is usually his shorter range means closing in with an opponent's weapon is trouble.
Lambo
Weapons: Grenades, Horns, Lampow's Shield, Thunder Helm
Grenades
Tumblr media
we are starting with his grenades which are significantly weaker than most but generally much like actual grenades, pull the pin and throw them as far away from you, hoping that nothing changes their trajectory. Pretty simple to use.
Horns
Tumblr media
I will note, while i'm not looking at flame output, this weapon so long as it's not the oldest version basically works like a taser, thus i will be working off of this assumption.
So their use case is very dangerous to the user as it would require not only extremely close contact, but also leaves the user open to any potential attacks at they tip their head, additionally if not positioned right the user will simply headbutt their target instead of delivering a shock.
One thing with headbutting is that it just about hurts the person doing it as much as the person receiving it and is generally a desperate moving hoping that you'll be able to tough it out more than the other person.
Every attack lambo makes should it hit, does risk harming himself more than his attacker even if he does hit with the electricity.
Cambio Forma Lampow's Shield
Tumblr media
One problem is that shields are usually paired with a weapon for a reason, they simply aren't made to be damaging. However this one is a better shield than the flame mantle, clearly rounded to aid attacks in bouncing off not taking the full of any attack and curving attacks out.
The way that it could be used as a weapon is to shield bash someone, this is where, should you be close enough, you ram the shield into their body or if there's a good opening, their head. Lambo, being too small for this is lucky that he has flames to use alongside it.
An additional way it can be used thanks to the horns is as a bludgeon, the horns don't actually go high enough to stab anything well, but you can grab them and use them for leverage for an attack. This isn't recommended though.
As with anything when being hit, you will not completely absorb all attack and it does take energy to resist being knocked over or slammed, even with a shield. Defending all the time will whittle down the user.
Thunder Helm
Tumblr media
Well his main use case is from the massive taser horns. Should they be used however, all of that is putting risk on the user's neck. Both with it's heavy weight, but also the fact that if they ram into anything like let's say a heavy object that does not want to move, all of that, is not only going to send all of that down the spine, it's going to focus down on the weakest part. Potentially breaking the neck and doing significant damage to the body.
Though should the electricity shock the opponent before it puts too much pressure on the body then the user would be safe. the use of this weapon would actually be incredibly risky that way.
Otherwise much easier use cases that aren't as threatening to the user would be using the gauntlets and boots to fight until a key moment. Their heavy weight would allow them to do some harm.
However due to how massive the armour actually is, it is unlikely that the user could move around much without exhaustion developing quickly.
Ironically despite being a weapon made to protect, it risks the user greatly.
Hibari
Weapons: Tonfas, Handcuffs
Tonfas + Vongola Gear
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Hibari's tonfa, which is also a multi-tool even without flame. It has, a hook, thorns, a chain with hooks at the end, and finally panels that can open up and shoot out air to deflect light weapons completely.
i'll have to break each little thing into it's own section starting with the tonfa itself
Tonfa are very rudimentary weapons, in rest position they sit alongside the user's arms as guards. The can be used to bludgeon this way, or flipped to lengthen the range of the attack or if the user needs to block or reroute an attack, they're very versatile. Like most close range weapons, they need to be careful of their hands and how they take hits. Another technique is the spin of the the tonfa to add more power into an attack. However one risks hurting their own hand if done improperly or blocked. The fact hibari uses this liberally shows his confidence in his ability as well as his possible recklessness.
addition a. Hook - the hook is placed at the mid point of the tonfa, giving very good stability when using it to pull a weapon, however it's use case is very niche, as the tonfa must be in correct position and the weapon used cannot be too big, ie. a baseball bat. Clearly better for thinner weapons than the tonfa itself, and that's not too many. Additionally, with how thin the hook is, it could be snapped by a strong opponent. One other threat to using a hook like this is just as you may be able to disarm your opponent, unless your opponent is in a very bad position or hold, they may be just as likely to disarm you using this.
Addition b. Thorns - This is a very strange addition to the tonfa. as it clearly goes on all sides of the tonfa, this can damage the user just by having the tonfa hit by a weapon and these pricking into your arm. They're also all pointed one way, meaning lunging and sweeping attacks are preferred by this form so the thorns can scrape against the opponent. However, wider attacks like this are not good in enclosed spaces, and can leave the user open. this form is definitely for aggression only, as it leaves it's user way too open to be defensive.
Addition c. hook and chain - a weighted hook on a chain, useful for getting additional range, however with the caveat if it ever gets caught on something or your opponent gets a hold of it you may pay for it. Unlike other attachments that use the tonfa regularly, these need to be used as a flail, the tonfa needs to be continuously spun in order to get enough momentum and to keep the momentum till it slams into the target. Being hit by this directly, will fuck up someone bad. with the sheer momentum strength a flail has, is can outclass a lot of bludgeoning melee weapons with the caveat that it must be kept moving in order to keep it's arc steady, though you can just swing them and it does the trick usually.
The more exhausted you are, the harder this will be to do, especially in the case hibari has, as unlike normal flails, with just a stick to use, he has to swing an entire tonfa with it in a specific pattern so it doesn't hit him by accident. Other issues he will face, missed swings will retain momentum and can put him off balance(especially if tired already), and the weapon can hit him instead of his target if he misses. Additionally, if you strike with one, it may bounce back, and if you should hit, you must bring it back to proper direction to prepare another attack. A complex weapon to use for the damage it does.
Also in the Vongola Gear version, the hook on chain now shoots out like a hook shot. This can definitely knock someone out(or worse), however it's infinite length does mean a lot of potential to get caught on things or lash backwards hitting the user when retracting like when a tape measure flick backs and as it enters it's point it thwicks backwards up and down.
Addition d. Air rockets - 3 panels that open up and will shoot an extremely strong gust of air. Once again we're back to recoil, this, would cause the tonfa to slam into hibari's hand and could even force his arm to move if he's not holding correctly/braced. This would have kickback to it at a high rate, likely higher than a normal gun in order to create enough air to do this, his hands be aching. so he'll have to use this sparingly as not to also accidentally disarm himself.
Handcuffs + Vongola Gear
Tumblr media
I will not be counting the multiplication factor i am just looking at handcuffs as weapons. There's a few different way's they can be used if the user is creative.
Firstly, hand cuffing the opponent to self, this can give you control over the opponent should you know how to use it. of course, wearing handcuffs fucking hurt, they're metal and you can bruise up your wrist and hand. So instead it would be better to use the weapon by handcuffing the opponent and using the other cuff as a sort of handle, giving you the advantage in controlling them. Of course, this is risky as now you're in short range of the opponent, but if you get their weapon hand, you can control how they use it and even use this to disarm them if you get behind them and pull on this and force their arm into positions that it absolutely should not go. Alternatively, if you get them on a leg, you can absolutely use this to trip them up too.
Secondly, actually managing to properly handcuffing them, will prevent them from using anything aside from their feet... if you've handcuffed them with their hands behind their back that is, they can still absolutely hurt you if you've hand cuffed them at the front, but their range of motion will be a lot more contained. This obviously makes them vulnerable, unless they're trained in martial arts that have some moves that kicks and are skilled in it. But you can also hand cuff their ankles if you manage to be sneaky enough about it, which will immediately become a problem as it restricts their movement really badly giving you the advantage of getting out of their range whenever you want.
Additionally in the Vongola gear version, that the handcuffs are now sharpened internally and can be used to cut the opponent in addition to restricting them.
Chrome + Mukuro (They share weapons)
Weapons: Trident, Earring of Mist
Trident
Tumblr media
These much like spears are considered the very very good option of both range and versatility. Their long length allows the user a lot of safety from other weapons and the 3 pronged nature of the trident can be used to catch incoming weapons and create openings. as the user typically holds it with two hands the shock that's absorbed is usually less than a one handed weapon's, additionally will be spread out more over the long length of the trident. You can also use the other end to bludgeon enemies.
You can throw this weapon but if you don't have any back up weapons and you miss well... maybe don't do that unless you have to or you'll be very awkwardly unarmed.
Some caveats the trident has is the 3 pronged nature does make it harder to remove after you've stabbed into something. Thankfully this version has the middle longer, which is with a purpose, as if the other two were longer, if they hit anything before the middle one, they may actually prevent you from trying to stab that thing you're trying to stab.
However, the other issue with the trident is very much the same thing that makes it good in fields, it's length. In close quarters or closer spaces you will not have as much room to use it, thankfully if you're in a corridor that's like the best place as it's made for stabbing. However the three prongs, while it can be used to deflect weapons, it can be also used to re-route your own.
Additionally, unlike other weapons made with the idea your opponent will be able to strike you, there is little to no protection should you fail to use the whole of the staff to protect you, as well as there being no protection for your hands at all.
Earring of Mist
Tumblr media
If you were to use any staff as a weapon without it's magic, it's gonna be used as a bludgeoning weapon. the top is actually perfect for this the uneven shape and clear weight to it would do well. it would give some decent range to it too. not a horrible weapon.
However there are some caveats to it. it's a lot shorter and very thin with no guard, meaning spinning to try and stop a weapon is not going to have as much momentum to it and may be useless against an opponent with a strong enough grip. additionally it does mean there's more damage potentially going into your arms when you do block.
Hopefully this information is useful to someone, but also thank you for listening to me ramble! I may do more eventually as i do love to do this kind of thing.

Gokudera Hayato
event prompt 9&18:
“Don’t you want a life with me?”
“You were meant to be mine.”
Tumblr media
hyperfixation go brrrrrrrrrrrrrr
tw: yandere/toxic possessiveness, mention of murder
What the hell were you saying?
Gokudera finally felt like he knew what his future would look like. Hayato was happy. You were happy. You were happy. Once. Weren’t you?
Your smile used to be so sincere. The way you said his name. The way you would both lay by each others side and twirl the others hair, so in love.
Staring into one another’s eyes like there was nothing else to exist. He had a life to lead, a family to run, and you along side him. You told him over and over you could take the stress of being a mafioso’s girl.
Was that a lie? Or was it him, you couldn’t handle?
He didn’t do anything wrong. You were overreacting. Right. Why else would you say such awful things? You didn’t mean them, right?
About how he didn’t love you anymore. About how you didn’t love him anymore. About how he only ever thought about Tsuna and the Vongola. While it had some truth to it, he only ever had you at heart. It’s always only ever been you.
Why the hell were you trying to break up with him?
“I just.. I can’t keep being put second…” you whispered.
Second to his loyalty, in which dominated everything among your relationship.
“I .. I would just be in the way. You don’t actually want this, me.”
More lies. How many of them have you spilled already?
“I’m sorry, Hayato. I want to be with you too but- but… I always end up hurt.”
You’ve never been hurt once since you’ve started dating. He’s made damn sure of it. How many people has he killed to be with you? To keep you safe from enemy hands? How many times does he have to prove he loves you? Would killing someone in front of you finally prove it?
“I-I’m sorry-“
“Don’t you want a life with me?”
He seethed out through gritted teeth.
“You don’t mean that. Any of it. You’ve always wanted a life with me.” He graveled.
“We had a plan. We talked about our futures, coming home to one another after every day, making pasta, watching scary movies. Falling asleep on the couch, scold Uri for eating what else was left…”
Gokudera reminisced in these memories daily. Every day. He dreamed of the life he would lead as the Vongola Storm Guardian, he dreamed of the home he would visit after every mission. To kiss you becauselike he hadn’t seen you in weeks. To hold you. And never let you go.
“You’re lying, Y/n.”
Gokudera looked at you with such harsh, betrayed eyes. A step forward, and he had your arms in his iron grip.
“I’ll work on my time management. I’ll reap the consequences of my mistakes. You’ll never feel lonely again,” he spewed on, starring deeper and deeper with that crazed look in his eyes.
“But you won’t leave me. You don’t really want to. I know,”
He could feel you trembling under his palms, see the scared look in your eyes. And again, you were under his thumb.
“I know you don’t mean any of it. I’ll do better, anyway. Because I love you,
And you love me too.”
“You were meant to be mine.”

Day 3 prompt 3 nr 39 for varia squad, thw vongola tenths and if you want also the millefiore?
Of course, my dear! Thank you so much for the request and I hope you’ll enjoy my thoughts, even though I know they differ quite a bit from yours on some of the characters!
What is the most common source of arguments with the character’s life partner(s)?
Tsuna and Ryohei’s most common source of arguments with their respective partners actually run quite a bit along the same lines. Both of their partners will have issues with accepting the fact that both of these men will hide a lot from their partners. In both cases, these men believe they’re doing the right thing. In their minds, they want to shelter their partners from the harsh realities of mafia life and they don’t want to make their partners worry or hurt. But the fact of it, coming from the side of their partner, is that it will make their partner feel as if these men don’t trust them or see them as weaker and just something to be protected and set aside from the rest of their lives. It’s nearly impossible to keep a relationship alive when one party feels as if the other sees them as less than or if one party feels like the other doesn’t trust and respect them. Tsuna and Ryohei do have their points, but they’ll also need to realize that their lovers have valid points too. They’ll have to put themselves in their lovers shoes and realize how they would feel in that position and there is hope that both men are capable of getting better at communication, but it won’t be a natural or quick thing for them and finding a partner who will stick around and wait for them to improve is going to be a struggle. On top of this issue with Ryohei, I do feel like his partner will also have some issues with just how much he enjoys fighting, with how often he comes home with his body broken, cut up, badly injured.
Gokudera, Yamamoto, and Chrome’s most common fights with their respective partners all come down to the same issue – their partner never gets to feel like they’re the priority. Each of these characters are people who would put other things above their partners. Chrome really will, even as she gets her own life, her own friends, a romantic partner, all of it, put Mukuro and the Kokuyo Gang above anything else in her life. If Mukuro needs her, she is going to him, no discussions needed and nothing her partner will say will change that. She doesn’t see why her partner cannot accept this, especially as they know how precious Mukuro and the Kokuyo Gang are to her. To her, Mukuro is the only reason she had this second life, this chance to actually be with her partner, so how can they sit there and complain about the times when she has to go and help Mukuro? Do they not realize that without him, she would not be there with them in the first place? She’s not a scream and fight kind of person though and most arguments her partner has with her regarding the subject are shut down just by Chrome walking away, telling them she will be back and hoping that they will come to their senses by the time she returns.
Gokudera’s case is obvious. I will always say that, because of how long he spent with nothing and because of how Tsuna took him in, gave him family and friends and a purpose in life, that Tsuna and the Vongola family will always be his priority. If Tsuna needs him, he will go, and it’s not just Tsuna. If any of the family are in trouble and he is close enough to lend a hand, he is going to do so. It might mean that he sometimes has to cancel plans with his partner, it might mean that occasionally he will be gone from them for significant chunks of time. But he always comes back to them, doesn’t he? He does the best he can for them, doesn’t he? And besides, they’d known this about him from the start, he’d never hidden it. It was part of why he'd never really ever wanted a serious romantic relationship, but he couldn’t help falling in love with them, with how they’d snuck past all his walls and barriers. Couldn’t they admire his loyalty to his precious people and realize that he’d protect them with his life as well? Why did it always need to be this big fight? However, the truth is that his partner has valid points as well. It’s a horrible feeling to never get to feel important to the person you love the most. It hurts to be stood up or cancelled at the last minute, it hurts to never get as much quality time as you need and all of that on top of always worrying about Gokudera’s safety, because he does share the Mafia life with them, they do know the dangers. Unfortunately, I really don’t see Gokudera ever being fully willing to do much to compromise on this. He is who he is, he lives how he wants and needs to and his partner will have to find ways to accept him as he is, accept his life and his family, or there’s absolutely no hope of a future together.
Yamamoto has always had ambitions and goals and things he wants to do with his life. He wants to continue to play baseball, and I do think he does achieve his ambition of playing professionally, even just for a while. He has the Vongola and his family there, along with his father, that he wants to protect, cherish, and love. He has his sword and his determination to continue on the flawless, invincible Shigure Soen style. His relationship with his partner is just one of the many, many things going on in his life. It doesn’t mean that he doesn’t love his partner because he most certainly will. He deeply loves his partner, they’re the light of his life and are incredibly important to him. However, there’s other important things in his life and he needs them to understand that because his life will keep him busy. He’ll be on the road with his team and they’ll either need to be willing to uproot their life and travel with him or trust him to be away from them for so long. His family, of all varieties, are equally as important to him as his lover is and he’s going to do his best to make sure everyone’s needs are met, but that also does mean that sometimes he needs to prioritize and that can leave his partner feeling neglected. He hates when it happens but he’s only one man and tensions can run high on both sides. Once the initial flare of anger has faded though, he is someone who is willing to listen and communicate and the one most willing to find compromises.
Lambo’s biggest source of fighting with his partner? Believe it or not, it’s because Lambo grows up into someone who is a major flirt and likes to fancy himself a bit of a ladies man. He would never stoop to out and outright cheating, mind you. To him, such an act of utter betrayal and disloyalty is disgusting, but he does have a bad habit of flirting with both genders, if the person seems into him, flirts and flatters him, or is just really gorgeous. I also think Lambo has a really bad habit of, once he gets comfortable in a romantic relationship, stopping flirting with his lover. In his mind, there’s no reason to compliment them as much, to flirt and be super playful. That kind of stuff is for courtship and to let them learn how magnificent he believes they are and how much he loves them. Once they’re in a committed relationship for a bit, he figures his partner knows that without him having to do much to show it. It just…slips his mind. So, it’s no wonder for his partner to be hurt by him flirting with other people, especially if they’re not getting that kind of attention and it’s easy enough for his partner to get insecure. However, the good thing about Lambo is that, after there’s enough arguments with his partner, he’s really going to be able to accept that he’s probably fucking up somewhere and he’ll honestly be willing to listen to them if they want to tell him what they need. He honestly will need to hear it to realize what’s going on and once his partner lets him know that they need him to show them appreciation and once they let him know they need him to perhaps tell those flirting with him that he’s taken, he’ll try his best to work on it. He won’t ever stop flirting with people, it’s just a part of his nature, but he will try his best to make sure his partner knows he appreciates them, finds them beautiful, and would never jeopardize his relationship with them.
Hibari and Byakuran have the same issue with their partners. That is, obviously, that both men have serious commitment issues that will cause arguments in any relationship they get into. In Hibari’s case, he can’t stand the thought of being tied down to any one person or any one thing. He wants to be able to do what he wants, live how he wants to live, fight who he wants to fight, and go where he wants whenever he wants. He doesn’t want the absolute responsibility for another person. While he could be capable of entering a romantic relationship, it’s going to be a challenge and everything about it will have to be dictated by Hibari’s whims. It’s something he will make clear from the get-go. There will be no marriage, no happily ever after’s with children and happy families. That’s just never going to be something he wants, no matter how much he loves the person. Though fights are sure to arise from this issue, Hibari will shut them down right away or will just plain out walk away from his partner, sometimes for quite some length of time. His attitude, his way of living his life, is absolutely inflexible and he’s not going to consider, even for a moment, changing anything about it for his partner’s sake. Compromises aren’t his style so his partner will have to accept him as he is and be willing to live a life without those ideals of marriage, children, etc. If they can’t, he will make it clear that it’s best for both of them if they walk away from the relationship before either grows more attached.
In Byakuran’s case, he is honestly very changeable as a person. Even after Yuni helps him open up his heart, he’s someone who really does have a problem connecting with humanity. She opened up his heart after all, she didn’t take away his special powers. He’s already lived a million years and life is in some ways very boring for him. He’s a person who lives and acts entirely on his own whims and he can’t settle into one thing for any long period of time unless it’s something entirely new and potentially exciting. In his other lives, he’s done the whole marriage and kids and forever love kind of things. He knows the experience, it’s no longer novel. Because of this, and his own issues with indecision and tendency to wonder if the grass is greener on the other side, he has no desire for big commitments, like getting engaged or married, and there is a huge potential for him requesting an open relationship at some point during his time with his first, and most important partner.
Mukuro’s main source of arguments with his partner are actually two-fold. One is the most obvious potential for arguments, which is Mukuro’s habit of lying or telling only half-truths, obscuring his real goals, feelings, and motivations. The other is that he’s actually a rather poor communicator when it does come to himself. He’s completely emotionally closed off, with big strong walls separating him from people and that’s not something that will change throughout the years. While he definitely is capable of love and affection for others, letting them truly and completely in is something impossible for him. This can make forming true and lasting romantic relationships really difficult. It’s hard to always feel like your partner doesn’t trust you or that they’re keeping a distance from you and it’s understandable for his partner to bring it up every now and then, to try to communicate how it makes them feel to him. However, Mukuro is not someone who takes even mild criticisms well and it will turn into a verbal fight most of the time which results in him telling them to leave. His relationship will be very on-off for that reason unless his partner allows him to get away with everything.
With Xanxus, there is really no common source of arguments with his partner. The fact is that Xanxus has a really horrendous temper, even as he matures. Though the maturing does mean he gets a better grip on his temper, he still has that nasty temper that is always ready to explode, set on a very hair-trigger. The worst of it is that there’s no telling what will set his temper off. There’s the obvious things that his partner should never speak of in front of Xanxus (mentioning his defeat at the hands of Tsuna, suggesting that maybe he make up with Timoteo, criticism of any kind), the problem is that things that won’t upset Xanxus in one situation or on one day will at another time. His temper is unpredictable, even to him, so literally anything can cause fights with his partner and, unless they’re willing to face his wrath (and have excellent dodging skills) or unless they learn how to read his body language and control their own behaviour based on that, Xanxus’ partner is going to have to learn to live walking on eggshells really because he will not change.
Squalo’s most common sense of arguments with his partner is really a very obvious one. Squalo’s line of work and his lifestyle is an unconventional one and it’s one that he completely devotes himself to. His goal is to become the Sword Emperor and to serve Xanxus and nothing will stand in the way of that, even falling in love. His work is dangerous; he will come home injured, sometimes with bones broken, in horrible conditions. He will have to be away from his partner because of work, or even through choice, for considerable lengths of time at points. Much like some of the others mentioned, Squalo lives the way he likes, and he has no plans on changing his job, his hobbies, or how he lives in any way because in his mind, he is living the right way. Everything he does, in his mind, is the right thing and anyone who disagrees with it is in the wrong, which is a hard mindset to argue with. Because of that, arguments with his partner can get bad and in the end, his partner is going to have to learn to cope with his work with the Varia, with his ambitions as the Sword Emperor dragging him around the world, and with his devotion to Xanxus. None of these things will mean that Squalo won’t love his partner, but if they cannot handle living with those things, then the relationship is doomed.
Levi, Bluebell, and Daisy all have very similar topics and issues as the most common source of arguments with their respective partners. Levi has extreme jealousy issues and will be a very possessive partner. He struggles quite badly with his own insecurities, some of which are rather extremely felt. Because of this and because of the amazing (and often good-looking) men he’s around, he’s always scared that his partner is going to wake up and realize they can do better, and that insecurity will lead him to being jealous of any other person that his partner gets close to. What if they take his partner away? That fear and insecurity also drives him to want to keep his partner with him. In his mind, he’s as good as out of sight, out of mind to people and he’s scared that, between other people and not always having a lot of time with his partner, that they will forget about him or replace him. So, Levi can pick fights, accuse his partner of cheating or of caring about any other person in their life more than they care about him. He’ll pick arguments when he’s feeling insecure about everything, and he will try to separate his partner from friends that he feels they like more than him or that are too good-looking. He wants his partner’s life to almost revolve around him, because other than his work and his boss, Levi’s entire life will revolve around his partner. It is abusive, it is unhealthy, but he just can’t seem to stop himself.
Bluebell also gets extremely jealous. She wants to be the center of attention for her partner. They should be looking at her, complimenting her, playing with her, spending their time with her. She doesn’t want them to like anyone more than they like her and because of this, she will pick fights with not only her partner, but any of her partners friends that they bring around her. She’ll get really rude at those times – the only exception to this is her partner’s direct family members, who she will respect as she believes family is a very important thing. It won’t matter how many times her partner brings up that this is too much, that her rudeness is unfair and embarrasses them or that her partner can’t take it. Bluebell won’t change her actions and she honestly does assume that they’ll never leave her no matter what she does, because the two of them are in love.
Daisy, meanwhile, when they fall in love, is someone who wants to ‘own’ their lover. They want their lover to be theirs in entirety. Daisy’s lovers life will have to grow to be entirely based around their relationship with Daisy, around Daisy themselves. To Daisy, they do love their partner, but they feel entitled to their partner in all ways and might at times view their partner as a toy. Because of this entitlement, arguments with Daisy will really get their partner nowhere. They will either be used as a toy or they will have to try to leave Daisy, which comes with its own unique set of problems and troubles because if Daisy’s partner thought Daisy was possessive during their relationship, that’s nothing compared to a dumped Daisy.
Lussuria is someone who really is never fully satisfied. He has a problem with, even if he’s in love with one person, always wondering if the grass is greener on the other side. A true romanticist in his own way, Lussuria dreams of the perfect partner and the moment one of his relationships starts to show imperfections, he can get too focused on those and start wondering if there’s something better out there. He might even be easily tempted to cheat, even just emotionally or through paying male escorts. This can obviously affect his partner’s self-esteem, their trust in him, and their whole relationship and there will be numerous fights about it. Unless his partner leaves Lussuria or stays but opens up the relationship, this will be a continuing fight as no one person will ever be able to live up to Lussuria’s dream partner.
Both Belphegor and Zakuro have the same issue that causes the most arguments with their respective partners. Similar to Xanxus, both of these men have extreme tempers and serious anger issues. Belphegor’s temper is not only unpredictable and nasty, but it’s very violent and that extends to when he loses his temper with his partner. He throws temper tantrums, and he really doesn’t think anything of physically hurting, even attempting to murder, his partner when he loses his temper. This is obviously not going to sit right with his partner, but there’s really no talking to Belphegor and, if his partner tries to leave him before he is done with them, Belphegor will seriously make every effort to kill them in as brutal a way as he can. There is no fix for this issue and it’s something that just comes with a relationship with Belphegor. Honestly though, his partner should have seen the hints of how unhinged this man is before they decided to get together with him. Zakuro’s temper isn’t that bad. It’s more that he just gets angry really easy. He won’t physically hurt his partner, but he’s going to be violent and intimidating. There will be at least one hole in the drywall of their apartment from where he put his fist through a wall when he was angry. He really probably doesn’t even mean to scare his partner as much as he does; it’s just that Zakuro gets all consumed in his anger and can’t think at all. He’ll always apologize for his anger afterwards, promise he’ll do better next time, but the next time comes and it’s the same thing again. I think the only thing that would seriously make him attempt to change, to seek help with his anger issues, was if his partner were to leave him over it.
Both Irie and Spanner have bad habits of getting much too into their work and their passion projects. They will forget even the basics of sleeping and eating when they get in the zone, until those urges become undeniable. So, it’s really little wonder that they completely forget about their partner as well. They will forget dates or plans, standing up their partner because they don’t even think to message them to properly cancel. They will forget special occasions. They just won’t be around for their partner to support them. It’s no wonder, and very understandable, for their partners to sometimes get upset about this, especially if it continues on for weeks, as it sometimes can. Both men would feel absolutely horrible about making their partner feel bad and they will honestly try to apologize and do better, but they keep repeating the same patterns over and over because how into their work and their passions both men get are just huge parts of who they are as people.
Kikyo has the most boring source of arguments with his partner, the most mundane. The truth of the matter is that the thing he’ll fight with his partner the most about is finances and financial stressors. Kikyo, despite his extravagant appearance, is actually really financially smart. He’s a saver, not a spender, and he’s careful with his money. Part of it is really needing the security of knowing his bills will all be paid, that he and his partner will have the money needed to survive and thrive. If his partner has a habit of spending money on things, even if they can afford them, that Kikyo considers unnecessary, it will definitely spark arguments. Honestly, the two of them need to find a nice compromise between the two, and there’s definitely the potential for both of them to get there, but it will be after plenty of arguments around the subject, as Kikyo is proud and does believe that he is right in everything.

So, my server peeps may recognize me talking about this but I randomly remembered and thought I'd share. :]
Okay, well I'm sure we all know that Giotto ran off to Japan during Second's time.
But, that doesn't explain what happened to the rest of his guardians, right? Well, I think you can assume it based on where Tsuna's guardians ended up in at the start of the series.
For example, Asari definitely went with Giotto to Japan since Yamamoto and Tsuna were both there.
Lampo stayed in Italy.
Daemon stayed in Italy.
Knuckle went with him to Japan.
Alaude went with him to Japan.
And G? G stayed in Italy. Which actually??? high key drives me insane??? I need to know the tea behind that because all of G and Giotto's interactions imply they were two peas in a pod. So, what in the world happened that resulted in them getting separated??? I need to know. Did they have a disagreement? Okay, but it seems like they had many disagreements seeing as Giotto was a wild one. Was this one bad enough to break them?? It doesn't seem like it.. Was it for safety? Did someone have to stay in order to watch Second's actions and what he did with Vongola? LIKE I HAVE TO KNOW. THIS ISNT A JOKE. Daemon is easy to assume why he stayed in Japan, and Lampo WAS a prince so I get that he couldn't up and follow Giotto to Japan. BUT G HAD NO REASON. THEY WERE BESTIES??? HE WAS LOYAL TO HIM... i need answers, amano...

Qn ask for the Myell!
🌀 Storm: Will your WIP have a happy or sad ending? How do you feel about it?
🌦️ Overcast: Which character do you think readers would love the most? Which character do you think they would dislike?
💧 Raindrop: Describe your antagonist/villain in 5 words.
Hello Muffin!! Thank you for submitting thought fodder for the myell 💙 (ask game)
DISCLAIMER: info about KW's structure below, could be considered spoilers but I tried to be as vague as possible. It's more like future plans than anything. If you're curious about how KW's going to look like, dive right in!
Tumblr media
🌀 Storm: oooohh boyyy
Ok here's the thing. KW is a retelling of KHR, and just like KHR it's divided in arcs, though these arcs don't necesarily cover the canon arcs in their entirety, that's only true for the second one. Let's see if I can summarize them (as per anything I make, there could be changes in the future, but this is the current plan)
Act 1 - The Opened Way (current) -> from right after Kokuyo Arc to the start of Varia Arc Act 2 - SPOILS OF WAR (placeholder name) -> Varia Arc Act 3 - SIEGE (placeholder name) -> from right after the end of Varia Arc to a number of months later (as part of some of KW's timeline choices, Tsuna's trip to the future and subsequentially the earthquake which kickstarts the Inheritance Arc has been "postponed") Act 4 - BIRTHRIGHT (placeholder name) -> continuing from when Act 3 has left off to some time after, still before the start of Inheritance Arc
FUTURE EPISODE -> don't know if this one will be divided in arcs too (maybe two?), but it takes place in the Future Arc, future timeline
From future episode on, it's still a WIP.
I know for sure I won't cover Inheritance and Curse of the Arcos in total (it's either something that happens in parallel but unrelated to those arcs, or directly something that happens after them);
I know what plotline will need to come to a close in that final section;
I know more or less what SHOULD happen, but I have no idea how to actually "end" KW. Maybe because KHR itself doesn't feel like it brings "closure" to me, it's more of an open ending which really I prefer over a definite one.
So the answer is.... who knows? Not me for sure (~ ̄▽ ̄)~
🌦️ Overcast: I literally cannot wait to write more about the Entity for this exact reason, because I think she'll cause those two different reactions all by herself at the same time.
Though for the second part, I really think people are not going to like how Myr's going to get going forward, for a multitude of reasons.
First, she's going to take a path that many other OCs before her have taken and I feel many will roll their eyes and be like "what, really? Another one?" (no it's not the new Varia cloud guardian, please don't hurt me). This doesn't bother me one bit, but I have a feeling some readers will not be thrilled about it.
Second, Myr will not make the "right" choice, or the most logical one.
Third, she's caused her fair share of trouble in the past. As our dear Tristam said once, why do you think she was stripped of her birthrights?
💧 Raindrop: I already answered this, but let me get a second set for our beloved Nifate (the actually name of Myr's mom, usually written as Nera Signora because that's her title as Cavalieri Boss):
Cunning. Prudent. Bitter. Sick. Avid.

Random ass idea.
Tsuna but, one day at the park when he was eight, when his bullies had cornered him, a boy with blond hair and a stick came charging in and beat them away. His dad was there to ensure the angry parents couldn't get the boy (Link) in trouble for saving someone or Tsuna for being a victim. Link ensures he grows up and is able to exercise in peace. Able to figure out how to not trip over his own feet in peace.
Tsuna, one day when he was ten, meeting a girl in the library. He was struggling with his homework, and about to give up, when she appeared and decided to help him. When she grew angry since apparently his school work was to advance for his age. And when the girl (Zelda) brought that to her mother's attention, suddenly all of the teachers that picked on him were fired and replaced with teachers who would actually teach him and scold his bullies. And now he has a friend that helps him with his school work and play catch up with his grades now that he was doing material appropriate with his grade level.
Tsuna who is twelve when he met a man that TERRIFIED him. Who he took one look at and his away from. He doesn't know who this man (Ganondorf) is, but he knows that the man is bad, BAD news.
Tsuna, who is fifteen when Reborn came crashing into his life, and who has two friends, Link and Zelda, who are willing to help him figure out the situation he got himself into.
Tsuna is eight years old when he makes his first friend.
By all rights he probably shouldn’t have made a friend that day. He had been running from the most recent group of kids that wanted to “show him his place” like he didn’t already know, and made it all of five steps before his foot caught a rock and sent him sprawling. For a second all he could see was battered green tennis shoes, and then they were gone and a rather impressive battle cry filled his ears.
Tsuna had squeezed his eyes shut, bracing for impact, but when the sound of wood hitting skin did come there was no pain that followed. Slowly, Tsuna opened his eyes and turned over to see what had happened.
The kid (Tsuna couldn’t tell between the with the long hair and firm set to their jaw) green shoes looked wild. All tangled blond hair that hung halfway down their back and grass stains all over their clothes. They swung a stick like it was a sword, like they had been born to fight, and the kids who had been chasing him quickly seemed to decide that whoever this kid was they weren’t worth fighting.
It wasn’t until after the bullies left that the kid finally spoke, soft and so at odds with that battle cry they had let loose before, and introduced themself as Link. Tsuna half expected them to turn that stick on him when he asked if they were a girl or boy, but Link only smiled, shrugged, and tipped their hand from side to side as if to say kind of.
It took a few years after Link to make another friend. Years full of laughter, stick fights in the park, and learning enough sign language to understand Link when he got quiet.
Neither of them could be considered “great students.” Link simply didn’t seem to care about anything that wasn’t food, sleep, or Tsuna and Tsuna… he knew he was stupid. Everyone other than Link told him enough that it stuck in his head whenever he frowned down at the math that never seemed to match what the teachers showed in class. He was just about to shake Link awake from where she had decided to nap over her homework instead of finishing it and suggest the two of them head back to Tsuna’s house for dinner when the girl sat down across from him.
If he didn’t know any better he would have thought her and Link were related. They had the same blonde hair. The same blue eyes. The same odd points to their ears. She looked just like Link… if Link picked all the leaves and twigs out of her hair and could wear white for longer than twenty minutes without ruining it.
“I couldn’t help but notice it looked like you were struggling. Can I help you?”
Zelda as she introduced herself somewhere between the angry red flush that took over her face as she read Tsuna’s homework and stomping through the library to a man who could only be her father with narrowed eyes and Tsuna (and Link who was blinking the sleep from her eyes as Tsuna dragged her along) pulled behind her.
He wasn’t stupid (Zelda told him over and over again and considering the way she would glare at him when he didn’t immediately agree it was just easier to believe he) he was being given work that should have been set aside for college level math majors. And now he had two friends.
Two friends who were a bit odd, sure, but so was Tsuna.
Still Link had seemed older than twelve when he tugged Zelda and Tsuna behind a parked car and watched a man with narrowed eyes, twitching fingers seeming eager for a weapon. Tsuna gets one look at the man before Zelda’s trembling grip pulls him back down, and it’s enough to convince him that evil very much does exist.
After the man had marked a turning point for the three of them. Link spent hours drilling him and Zelda how to fight while Zelda threw herself into any kind of research she could get her hands on trying to figure out why the man felt so wrong. Tsuna for his part, spent a lot of time pressed between the two of them, their combined body heat lessening the ever present chill he felt deep inside, and the sound of shattering glass (splintering ice?) in his ears.
Then a different man (there was no way in hell Reborn was actually a baby. He had that too old look Zelda and Link sometimes got practically screaming off of every inch of him) showed up and things got a lot more complicated.
But at least with his dying will he could help his friends… if Reborn didn’t get him actually killed first.

Ingredients & Spells (A KHR Fanfic)
Fandom: KHR Word Count: 1,025 Prompt: Ingredients & Spells Ship: Implied 2786 Event Host: @flufftober
Haru and Kyoko had never actually considered it until Bianchi brought it up.
"Did you know cooking is just like magic?" She'd told the younger girls. Both of them turned to the older whom they considered their own sister, though by blood relation the only one she was related to was Gokudera.
Both girls turned their heads. They never were able to understand how someone as kind and pretty as Bianchi could make the Storm guardian flee in mere seconds or pass out just by looking into her eyes. Haru often wondered if she was perhaps like Medusa and her gaze was just too much for him.
"Bianchi-nee, how is it like magic?" Haru pondered, wondering if she was perhaps discussing a love spell she could put to use one day on someone.
"The most important ingredient is always love." Bianchi reminded them. She was a firm believer that love should be put into every dish no matter what you were cooking, even if she didn't realize her cooking was poisonous no matter what dish she tried to make. It had started innocently enough when she was a child and prepared cookies for her little brother, cookies he now had a phobia of as an adult. Then it became more evident when she cooked for her boyfriends and they all died or fled from the torture of constant food poisoning. To Bianchi, she was adding love. To everyone else she was trying to kill them. Cooking could indeed be magical, but not all magic was good.
Haru and Kyoko took notes as they watched Bianchi pour her love into her cooking, one ingredient at a time. To most people it was just your normal, flour, eggs, sugar, baking powder, baking soda and butter to make a simple sugar cookie dough. But there was still that very important ingredient to add to it, love. "Remember what I said. The most important ingredient is love. It can transform mere ingredients into delicious desserts. So think of the one you each love and pour all of that into your cookie dough."
"Can Binachi-nee teach Haru to make a love potion one day? Haru wants someone to notice her." The poor girl had been so heartbroken lately and she wondered if she was ever going to heal or not. Could she get the man of her dreams? Ever since he'd saved her, Haru had devoted her life to becoming Tsuna's wife one day. It was a goal she was certain she would be able to achieve.
To be a Mafia boss's bride took dedication and strong resolve. Haru had plenty of those. In a way it was a recipe in itself. Strong resolve, dedication, understanding, patience, love, all of these things could be seen in Haru's devotion to Tsuna. She hoped he'd enjoy these cookies. Haru never understood why Gokudera didn't like his sister's cooking when someone as sweet as Bianchi poured her heart into every ingredient as she added it, and that was the essential part of being a good cook, love. As long as you put love into it, anything could taste good, right?
Bianchi, placed her arms around both girls, pulling them into a huddle. This was serious girl business, baking for the one you loved required thought and dedication. Every ingredient had to be carefully chosen and put in with care. It might not have been a powerful love potion, but it would at least show Tsuna that she cared, right? Haru was a patient girl, Bianchi quite liked her strength of character and fully supported her goal of making Tsuna hers one day. Kyoko was just as sweet and Bianchi wished her nothing but the best in life as well and hoped the girl would always be happy and safe no matter where life took her. Bianchi might have only been related to Hayato, but the entire Vongola was precious to her like family, even Haru and Kyoko.
As much as she loved her family and friends, Bianchi also loved cooking. Which was why she wanted to teach the girls the importance of ingredient quality and putting love into every dish. Carefully Haru and Kyoko followed Bianchi's instructions, preparing a simple but hopefully delicious sugar cookie dough. After chilling it, they rolled them into balls and placed them on the baking sheet, baking them as instructed until they came out golden brown and soft and fluffy inside with a light, crisp and sugary outside.
Haru and Kyoko looked at their cookies with pride. Now they understood why Bianchi stressed the importance of putting love into every dish, if they could bake like this all the time there would be no problem in one day finding a husband. Baking really was like making a love potion if the quickest way to a man's heart was through his stomach with the most delicious food he ever tasted.
"Is there any way to cast a love spell on a batch of cookies?" Haru joked.
Kyoko laughed. "If only it was that simple, Haru-chan."
However it was Bianchi that indulged her. "That all depends, who's the lucky guy?"
Haru turned red immediately and simply began stirring ingredients to make the dough. No way was she telling her who it was. "Hahi! N-no one!" She shook her head, ponytail waving back and forth as she tried to hide her expressions. Haru did have someone special in mind, but it wasn't like she was about to make a love potion for the poor guy.
Bianchi didn't let up. "Is it my precious little brother?!" She missed Hayato so, ever since he'd run away their relationship had been quite strained.
Haru looked away, hiding her face and stirred the dough faster. She wasn't about to tell Bianchi it wasn't about her little brother, Gokudera hadn't been the special one to catch Haru's eye. And no one would tell Gokudera his sister had been in the kitchen that night. It wasn't like he had a big sweet tooth anyway. Haru might just have to find another love spell for Tsuna one day, but for now sugar cookies would have to do.

where the fuck are all my khr bitches at, i need buddy daddies/khr content
have we considered au where kyutaro is actually a double agent for the vongola who's feeding them information and he tells tsuna like "yeah hey there are these two really good assassins that i think would be perfect for the famiglia, they have this really cute daughter if you're nice to her, you'll have their loyalty for life."
and so tsuna comes in and kills rei's father and asks kazuki and rei to join the famiglia and he mentions that they'll get a regular salary as well as a childcare stipend for miri, and kazuki and rei agree without a second thought

Timoteo actually never said Xanxus would be boss. Xanxus thought he would be boss because everyone in the family said he would but Timoteo and Iemitsu never said he would’ve been boss of the family.
Xanxus also had three brothers, Xanxus was an easier pick among the family because he did have signs of legitimacy like the flame of wrath from the second boss and he has two X in his name.
The main problem was Timoteo lied about Xanxus being his son, Xanxus loved being Timoteo’s son and took pride that he was the son of the 9th he was too prideful because he saw himself above everyone in the family. But the problem was Xanxus felt like he was taken in by Timoteo out of pity.
And that's the issue with communication with Timoteo. Had he just said to Xanxus "no, you are not going to be boss, but you are still my son", then probably Xanxus, whilst obviously displeased, would have accepted it better.
Instead he got to listen to everyone hinting at him as boss without Timoteo and/or Iemitsu saying ANYTHING to deny or confirm.
THAT'S NOT XANXUS' FAULT. It's Timoteo and Iemitsu's INABILITY TO COMMUNICATE and INABILITY TO PARENT that are to blame.
Timoteo and Iemitsu had to fucking step up as parents and COMMUNICATE with Xanxus, instead no one did and the result was the Cradle and the whole resentment Xanxus has against Timoteo and by proxy Tsuna.
And ofc he is thinking that he was taken out of pity, because why would he not? If he is not going to be the boss, and he is only "adopted", then who is he? A random guy Timoteo took in out of pity.
Once again a new installation on: Timoteo and Iemitsu are the worst fathers. At least Timoteo tries mending bridges after the Vongola rings battle, a little bit.

Our next introduction is to the Goryunov household. You might notice that, while it is two-storied, it looks different from the rest of the homes in Kainai. That's partially because it's the second oldest homestead and partially because it was built rather quickly. Back in 1865, Pavel Goryunov and Tsuna Morioka had what wouldn't be called a shotgun wedding for another seven years and started their homestead as a one-room shack in the middle of the woods. Both homestead and household have grown since then, but Pavel's wife--both of them, actually--agree that it could use some renovation.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
If Pavel weren't such an attentive father, it might honestly be easier for Tsuna to deal with him. She has every ground to leave him, after all--even the strict divorce laws of the 19th century allow for divorce based on adultery--but little Maksim and May adore their dad. And also, Montana is a territory and not a state at this point, which makes everything law-related a little tricky. So for now, she's staying, which may create more discord than stability.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Kanti is similarly conflicted, though more because of Pavel's deceit. She's no stranger to polyamorous or polygamous relationships--she's Piikáni (often called Piegan Blackfeet) and comes from a culture where men often have multiple wives. The issue was, she thought Tsuna had known. The biggest rules of ethical polyamory are consent and communication, after all. So when Pavel brought her into his house, she expected a warmer welcome than what she got. She also expected him to actually marry her, which has yet to happen.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The kids aren't exactly oblivious to this tension, but so far it hasn't disrupted their relationships with each other. I mean parents be crazy, right? That's nothing to do with them.
