So called MAGA “Patriot” leaders wrap themselves in our flag while pissing on the legacy of our founding fathers and the constitution. A vote for The False Orange Savior is a vote for tyranny. Putin thanks all of the MAGA politicians via $$$ for their service in the dismantling of the “United” States of America. It is always hard to accept that you have been scammed. However, this is reality. Look up how Putin was trained to take down western governments via creating this form of internal cancer when he was in the KGB.

It is tempting, and perhaps even reasonable, to brush off Trump’s comments about Greenland, Canada, and the Panama Canal as just more of Trump’s “same old, same old.”
However, given Trump’s strong turn to Moscow, could there be a “there, there”?
The US has a military presence in Greenland that includes critical radar and early warning systems, but this is linked to NATO and Denmark. The major subject of this surveillance capacity is … Russia(!) European NATO members are concerned enough that they are talking about stationing a more international force in Greenland.
Russia has been making claims on resources and shipping lanes in the arctic, in areas that would normally fall under Canadian and Greenlandic (and Danish?) territorial rights.
Russia is finding it increasingly difficult to find flags under which their “shadow fleet” can sail through the Panama Canal.
So, maybe all of this talk is just Trump talking. Or maybe it’s more than coincidence that Trump’s new obsessions align closely with Russian interests .

BRICS on the Brink: How Trump’s Russia Outreach Could Reshape Global Power
The potential collapse of BRICS (Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa) could reshape global geopolitics, drastically altering the power dynamics between the U.S. and China. As Russia’s alignment becomes a pivotal factor, a shift towards the West—driven by figures like Donald Trump and Elon Musk—could fracture the China-Russia axis, the cornerstone of BRICS. This would mark a strategic…

First, Europeans of good will must do everything possible to push their governments to back Ukraine to win. European states have the economic and technological resources to make a massive difference in this war—what they has lacked is the self-confidence to act on their own and for their own interests. No more talks of soothing Trump’s ego, of building bridges to Trump, or finding someway to appeal to him. Trump, and the USA while he runs it, is with Putin and needs to be treated as a hostile power to European freedom and democracy.
Trump’s USA is not an ally of UK or EU, it is Putin’s ally. Trump’s administration is not even an ally of the people of the USA, it is the ally of the rich, the powerful and Putin.
When someone shows you who they are the first time, believe them.

The idea of inflicting “strategic defeats” on Russia has been a cornerstone of U.S. policy for so long a time that it transcends party lines Trump’s rhetoric about Russia having lost 1 million men in the Ukraine conflict is not just nonsense (the real number not even reaching 100,000), but his resort to it underlines that the usual meme of Trump being just woefully misinformed is looking less and less plausible. After touting the 1 million Russian deaths, Trump then suggests that Putin is destroying Russia by not making a deal. Adding (seemingly as an aside), that Putin may have already made up his mind ‘not to … Continue reading →

Putin served in the USSR's spy agency for 16 years, between 1975 and 1991, eventually reaching the rank of Lieutenant Colonel.
I have heard from multiple MAGA friends and family members that they trust Putin more than any Democrat. This frightening political stance by people who believe that they are acting in the best interest of our country shows the devastating impact of Russian propaganda spread through MAGA politicians and pundits. I generally do not agree with the Democratic party’s platform. However, every vote for a MAGA politician who enables this murderous former KGB leader is a vote against the very freedoms that our country was founded on.

Why is this man smiling?
Tumblr media
May 13, 2024
Russia's murderous dictator, Vlad Putin, must be a happy man. His project of installing a puppet as president of the United States in 2016 was — with the help of our compliant news organizations (but her emails!) — unprecedentedly successful. And then, as a bonus, that puppet somehow managed to capture and dominate one of the country's two major political parties.
Which is why it has become so difficult to tell the difference between the Kremlin's goals and those of today's GOP. Both seem single-mindedly intent on dividing Americans along racial and class lines, turning our democracy into a joke, delegitimizing our national institutions and destroying our economy.
Many Republicans, like Georgia representative Marjorie Taylor Greene and Ohio senator J.D. Vance, might as well be paid Russian agents. In fact, Michael McCaul of Texas, chair of the House Foreign Affairs Committee, told Puck News he thinks “Russian propaganda has made its way into the United States, unfortunately, and it’s infected a good chunk of my party’s base.” And GOP congressman Mike Turner, chair of the House Select Committee on Intelligence, recently observed on CNN's "State of the Union,"
We see directly coming from Russia…communications that are anti-Ukraine and pro-Russia messages, some of which we even hear being uttered on the House floor.
But it's not just their refusal to support Ukraine (as per Putin's wishes). During the four years of his presidency, Donald Trump's foreign policy purposely sought to do much of what Putin wanted to achieve. Even today Trump and his Republican fellow-travelers eagerly work to do Putin's bidding by undermining the NATO alliance, weakening the European Union, and preventing any improvement in relations with Iran.
Think Republicans don't follow Russia's lead? A few years back the Russian government announced it was raising the age of retirement from 60 to 65 for men and from 55 to 63 for women. Sure enough, in March the Republican Study Committee, which comprises more than 170 House members, released a budget proposal that would raise the age of Social Security eligibility.
Finally, consider this quote from more than a century ago by America's greatest humorist, as cited in Albert Bigelow Paine's Mark Twain, a Biography:
In our democracy we are cheering a thing which of all things is most foreign to it and out of place — the delivery of our political conscience into somebody else's keeping. This is patriotism on the Russian plan.
Even though Twain wasn't trying to be funny at the time, it remains an accurate observation that would put a grin on Putin's face.

1) King Charles receives Zelensky in Sandringham.
It's a private residence.
There is no record of a foreign leader being received there for a private audience EVER.
2) President of the European Council, and former prime minister of Portugal António Costa, ALWAYS wears suit and tie in public.
Today, for the European leaders meeting in London, he wore a turtleneck.

If hearing Trump say that Ukraine started the war with Russia infuriates you – donate to help Ukraine persevere. If you're a USA citizen and you're upset and ashamed of your current government – take part in protests, educate those around you when you can, and donate to help Ukraine persevere. If you know at least a little about history, and you see that the current processes in the world lead to WW3 – donate to help Ukraine persevere, save democracy, and show dictators around the world that they can't take everything they want by power.
Write to your representatives, engage in protests, share whatever you can, or encourage others to do so. This war is so much more than you can imagine. It's the start of something that has the potential to affect everyone, no matter where you are or what you believe in. The world is a dangerous place, and it needs every one of us to do what we can to make it safer. Don't just think good - do good, in whichever small way you can.
