I'm handing out tricks and treats!

I got around 50 candies here based around different twst characters/ocs(sorrynoisola,imadethisbeforeimadethem)- each containing either a treat (a candy/food that reminds me of them) or a trick (some shittily edited joke/meme that also reminds me of them)!

Is this just an excuse for me to shitpost? Mayhaps! but its all in good fun :> Also consider it a lil celebration since i've now been on tumblr for a year! (holy shit time flies)

So, how does it work?

You can pick any of these candies to send into my inbox, and then I "unwrap" it for you to reveal whether its a trick or treat. Nothing harmful, all silly. You can send me up to three candies, so I don't get overwhelmed :)

I will not be accepting anymore unwrappings after the 31!

You can pick your favs, or choose randomly by screenshotting the many gifs I've made like the one above!

coming slowly and uncomfortably to the conclusion that a lot of the problems i have with solas's writing come back to the fact that i think he's just like. a dumb person's idea of a smart person. i see a lot of people writing stuff about him that is very interesting but just doesn't jive at all for me with the dumb-as-rocks man we see in the games.

all his alleged intelligence and wisdom is just....knowing information the other person doesn't, the lowest form of "being somehow smarter about things". "he's so wise about spirits" nope, he is one. he doesn't have an understanding and empathy that surpasses other people. he is literally a spirit. what else does he even have going for him. "he knows so much about the fade wow" yeah he's literally from there. "he deceives the inquisition about who he is" if you knew a dude who was like. the absolute weirdest man possible. obviously lying and faceplanting constantly and making reference to "your...HUMAN...behaviors...". you still would not conclude "ah, that man is a bodysnatching gray alien" because in the world you live in, bodysnatching gray aliens aren't literally real, or at the very least they don't come to earth to personally muck around in your life. you would just be like, what an offbeat dude. you don't get any points for running a successful deception predicated on something that is, as far as your marks know, a literal physical impossibility. rerun that exercise with all parties having the same knowledge base and see how it turns out. even as is, almost literally everyone in the party knows he's obviously hiding something. he's not even remotely getting away with it. everyone just has much bigger problems to handle at the moment.

wisdom is traditionally connected to things like discernment, judgement, insight. the ability to make good choices from available knowledge. which is wild because he makes the wrong choice literally every time. every plan he makes fails in the end, in every single ending, in part because he is complete shit at understanding how other people operate at their very core, which is crazy on a guy who's thousands of years old and makes watching emotionally-charged memories his personal hobby. no matter which ending you get, it's predicated on him failing to accurately evaluate rook after an entire game with a direct line to their brain and the ability to pretend to be their closest confidant. he's very good at guessing how people will behave under relatively conventional circumstances and almost always misjudges how they will behave at the critical moment. the only person he ever meaningfully deceives in the course of the games is the player character, and only if you choose to be deceived.

the list of things meant to prove his wisdom and intelligence is so, so bleak. there's even the fool's last desperate resort to prove a character is smart: show him literally winning a chess game.

If you ask Sam what his biggest accomplishment was before hitchhiking to Dahlia, he’d say surviving his family, but his second greatest would be winning a fish from a carnival and taking care of it so well it survived for longer than 6 months without “fancy equipment” for it.

However the truth is that his grandma saw his fish dead after 2 days and she rushed to the nearest pet store to buy a new one before he got back from school. She did this for months. This secret died with her and Sam will always believe he’s just really good at taking care of fish

Day 4 of Radioapple Trick or Treat Week!! What in the meet-cute!?

Went a bit low effort with today's prompt, but I still tried to make it cute XD

Not gonna lie, I'd set this in a college au. I can imagine them being rivals, and of course, their first official meeting is running into each other on campus, literally. XD Lucifer would be running late and then be super apologetic about the incident, while Alastor would be too busy short-circuiting over the combined embarrassment of being so un-put-together in public and the strange, unnamed feeling sparked from looking into Lucifer's eyes for too long--

Okay, you can tell I read a lot of fanfics.

Luckily time's not a construct around here or I'd be just as late so we're good to go 😂💖 Truly choosing a favorite of your fics is near impossible but Hold the Vodka has long been one of my very favorite comforts (also shoutout to @wolfpup026's gorgeous artwork to match 🥰) so it was hard to resist getting inspiration from a few lines to picture Lokius sharing a toast before heading out to start that new life together!

Summary: A fox, Lan Zhan thinks a little dazedly from where he has come to an abrupt stop, Bichen still raised but no longer intent on attack, halfway between the cave’s entrance and the position of the fox by the wall, eyes caught on the tails. Several of them, to be exact. At least six, as far as he can see. Kay's comments: Here with another foxxian fic by apathyinreverie that I hold dear. It's set in the same shifter 'verse as the story that I recced recently, though it's a different story and not connected to the other story. Here, A-Yuan gets found by the Lans during a patrol and soon it become apparent, that there has been someone else caring for him, that something bad happened. Luckily, Lan Zhan manages to connect with the child and learns the truth, that his caretaker, a celestial fox, was injured and caught in a trap, and is in dire need of help. I love, love, love it when foxxian is a celestial fox like in this story, who's rare and coveted but also in danger because of his status. How very fortunate that dragonji found him :D Excerpt: If Lan Zhan were to guess, he’d say the boy is around five or six, seven at most, and he doesn’t seem malnourished as such despite his appearance suggesting an elongated stay in the wilderness by the time the disciples found him. He looks well taken care of, even. If one ignores the formerly dirty robes, the matted hair, and the bleeding fingers. It is those wounds that truly have the healers baffled, unable to entirely make sense of them, except for the fact that they aren’t ordinary wounds, that they are far too sharply cut, far too imbued with spiritual energy to have been made with anything other than some sort of spiritual tool.
