#kingdom hearts#kh1#traverse town#scenery#my gif#i love this world it's so nostalgic and i'm so fond of how whimsical it is#from the wonky lamp posts to whatever the gizmo shop is supposed to be#there were so many more locations i wanted to show off like the house with the dalmatian puppies and the accessory shop but-#i just couldn't fit it all. it's a fairly big world#i wasn't even sure if i wanted to add merlin's house to this post because it looks so different from the rest of the set#but i was so amused by how detailed it was as well as how perfectly tailored to him it looks that i had to include it#sometimes it's tough to know which areas to show off. should it be well known locations or should i show as much as i can? idk

So this most recent run of kingdom hearts has got me checking EVERYTHING and I don’t know why but it’s incredibly funny to me that if you talk to Squall before you leave Traverse town he tells you about the Dalmatians in the Manor House…
And it’s really cute because when Yuffie calls him out for being worried about the puppies he doesn’t even correct her. He’s all like “grr, it’s Leon! Don’t call me squall.”
Like how can anybody hate this man? He’s literally just a grumpy Gus with a heart of gold!

Bro someone explain to me why I nearly started SOBBING when I heard Traverse in Trance from Dream Drop Distance. I don't even like DDD, I think it's a fine game but it's just very ugh to me. I love the original Traverse Town theme from KH1, it perfectly sets the vibe and is a big mix up to the beachy themes of the first few hours of KH1. I hadn't heard Traverse in Trance in a while, I only really play the Melody of Memory tracks I haven't made all excellent and I did that one fast so I haven't heard that song in a while but I just got randomly really emotional over it.
This is the great part about Kingdom Hearts music, it's just so well crafted. Yoko and everyone else who has written music for the series are all just so talented, KH wouldn't be the same without them
