Please Help? Minor Emergency!

EDITED 12/13/24 - NEW POST!

I really need help via Venmo or Cashapp. My mom had an ER followup visit this morning and her doctor said her heart rate was so high she's at risk of sudden death, and she's demanding my mom be admitted to the Scripps hospital in Encintas (too far to walk from my apartment, but closer than Tri-City Hospital).

I'm now $434 overdrawn. However, if I can get $171 via PayPal, I can make four trips to the hospital and cover the last of what we owe to PayPal. She needs her charger for her phone tonight, and tomorrow I need to pick up insulin and pain pills for her (I have a way to pick up the meds, I just need a way to the hospital afterwards). I can also do Cashapp or Venmo and put it into my mother's bank account, as I have her bank card with me at the moment. She's $87 overdrawn, so I would need $218 to cover that, I think.

We got the charger to her, I got her meds (or at least the ones from earlier in the week) and I was able to buy a little bit of food to replace what i had to toss when our fridge and freezer died last week. I'm good for Uber trips, so anything else will go towards paying off my mom's PayPal Pay In 4 debts, which would take a huge burden off of us.

I was listening to So Much (For) Stardust and accidentally had too many thoughts in one sitting so we have another AU concept. I don't have a solid name yet so I've just been calling Team Supernova AU.

Long story short:

Ghetsis freezes over Unova's major cities, taking most survivors hostage to join Team Plasma, and leaving several thousands dead from the frost

Emmet, Elesa, and others try fending off the Plasma Frigate in Nimbasa but ultimately lose with injuries (Emmet got frozen on his right side)

Emmet takes as many survivors as he can into the tunnels, later joining other groups to his and forming Team Supernova in resistance to Team Plasma

Ingo went missing about a year prior to all of this, so Emmet has already spent a lot of time alone. The only pokemon he has left is Ingo's Chandelure, as the rest did not survive the invasion. He's generally very cold and shut off emotionally as a result, and doesn't really express himself like he used to.

I'll drop more details later, right now the AU in early concept stages so it's essentially a bundle of "what would this be like" and "what if this happened" and "this could be cool". If I have time I'll drop some of the other uniform designs later. Anyways have a good night, see ya.

the whole idea of "sustainable food systems and ecology" is totally undermined by the actual social and economic reality in the united states. it is not sustainable to have a nationwide food system hopelessly dependent on a robust nationwide food transportation network.

#there's detail to this that's not possible to convey in us english sentence structure but i don't have a better language to try to convey #it in #beeblings #ecology #why are almost all human beings in the US dependent on a transportation network for their food supply? a) lack of land access to individual #b) sustained lack of land access to cultures for such lengths of time that their cultural activities do not include primary food production #like the reality that the US was founded on destroying cultures of primary food production is so huge #it looms

Vondar Cragpike, youngest brother, never been much of a talker, mostly gets along by the odd grunt or chuckle alongside some hand signs. Lost his arm when the nids started running through the mines, Inquisitor managed to get him a new one that just about fits. Fights quicker than you'd expect given the size of the hammer, bashing soft spots with the pommel to distract foes before going in with the heavy bit. Likes to relax by just sitting out of the way near a machine shrine and listening to the hum.

#keese draws #rain world #rain world oc #iterator oc #rw iterator #rain world iterator #these two are still mostly in the brainstorming phase but I do enjoy them #they share a structure and are also the worst <3 #and by that I mean after the mass ascension they eventually start doing some mafia shit #synch started developing ways to carry out construction and repairs and such to the twos structure along with some renovations #the big one being to join the twos chambers so they can actually physically interact #and this gave light some ideas of ways to make sure the two would have access to enough resources to thrive long term #so they and synch worked together to develop different ways of transporting goods and supplies long distance mostly through organisms #and eventually as their fellow iterators began to slowly break down light started offering synch’s services to them #they’d use the chance to get all sorts of data scraping software into other iterators along with all sorts of other shit #and they’d use their newfound leverage over these iterators to blackmail them into giving up their resources for them and synch #often times at the threat of direct structural sabotage that they would follow up on if the iterator didn’t comply #synch is vaguely aware of the stuff that light is doing but doesn’t rly care that much since she rarely talks to other iterators #synch just wants light to be happy and would let her get away with pretty much anything

First off: my mom is back from the hospital! She's still in pain but shes going to have in home physical therapy and doctors visits for a while, so hopefully she'll be on the med soon. Thank you to everyone who helped me visit her in the hospital and get the supplements and vitamins we needed.

We still have one outstanding bills (the internet) which is around $89 total, and we still need food. I'm $421 overdrawn, which I also need to take care of before the 1st of January. So any help covering all that and getting another $100 for food would be amazing.

I also need $50 to get an Uber to pick up my mom's meds that can't be mailed once her doctor submits the pen needles for her insulin to the pharmacy. That I need via the PayPal listed above.

Loaded this thing up yesterday a cool 5 1/2 hours after the appointment time. Due to that little bit of Monday luck we lost our Ohio highway patrol escort. The next available time for them is 2 PM today so we are just chilling. This will definitely throw a monkey wrench in our first thing Thursday morning delivery in Gulfport MS.
