Playing the advanced battle tech mod for the harebrained schemes game has me thinking about trying to source some 6mm scale infantry for my merc company. Maybe even take another crack at calculating those space taxes...

Finally finished the face on this one! Now I need to baste my layers

Quilted and trimmed!!! Gonna bind it tomorrow after some homework, then I'll start on the label

Progress continues, now I just need to do the tilt shield, then get an iron halo and his knife 3d printed. After that, I can go over everything with purity seals.

I think I'm doing pretty good at making him read as the same guy as the old model, I really want this to read as an upgrade, not a new marine. I'm going to try to sculpt the little wreath onto his new tilt shield, but if I can't get it right I might have to give up on that particular detail.

Besides him, I've been working on my quilt, and I almost have the top layer done! I just have to connect the last two big pieces.

The next character project, I'm still waiting to order the last few parts I need, but I couldn't resist getting the arms on the new mini for Captain Tetys!

I still need to get his iron halo, shield, knife, and other gubbins. The shield is gonna be a pain, on his old model, I gave him the blade guard captain shield, but I haven't been able to find a bits shop with one to spare.
