Why do you weirdos say trans men should be disqualified for “doping” when trans men on testosterone play sports? Do you have no other arguments? It’s sad. Also do you have any idea how hrt actually works? lol. I have the same levels as cis males.

Trans people in chess
Keeping trans women out of sports is just the new shiny way to keep women out of sports. It's not like these people respected women's sports before.
We've seen this for years, it's not like Ms. Vera Menchik was welcomed with open arms to chess. And now they aren't letting trasn people into chess. A such blatant act of discrimination, misogyny, misandry, and transphobia should be punished ASAP.
This is unacceptable.

One of the biggest lies I've seen circulate on the internet is that "people don't care that trans men dominate in cis women's sports, just trans women being in cis women's sports."
It's more that they'll have an aneurysm over it so it's easier to just say that trans people are All dominating sports, since we are all somehow pumped full of testosterone and gender ~evilness ~
Not once have I heard any support or apathy for trans men being in sports, it's just that certain tranpshobes would have to acknowledge that athletic trans men who have been on T for a while, will be a lot more similar to cis men then they want to think abt.
Trans men are oppressed by being both trans and men, and transphobes will use both to their advantage

I don't understand how people can't see trans women as women? What is their confusion? I was watching Bill Maher, him and Piers Morgan was discussing trans women in sports and how unfair it is that they can compete against biological women. They spouting all the bs one would think they would. It was just enraging me so much! That these two over 50 white men don't have the capacity or even the want to try to empathize what trans people in general go through. How much adversity they have struggle through just to exist in our world that is constantly against them. How they do with strength, dignity, grace, wisdom and this deep will power to be their true selves.
Those two over 50 white males were up there cracking such inappropriate jokes. And I'll admit I wanted to crack their heads.
Just I don't understand how people can be transphobic, I don't understand what their scared of exactly? It's nonsense... but what I do know is as long as we don't educate people about trans people and get rid of this horrible narrative that bs like Fox News and Bill Maher are saying it's not going to get better.
I'll end with I support trans people, trans women, trans men, trans kids, trans youth, trans everyone. May one day in the future we won't have use the word trans in front of any of it. 🏳️⚧️

Ben Shapiro Gets HUMILIATED By His Own Idol In Live Interview | Hasanabi reacts
I like that in this video Ben Shapiro tries his uninformed anti-trans ideas on Neil deGrasse Tyson. He learns the hard way between bullying a student and talking on a profession who understands and knows science. Not only does Tyson turn Shapiro’s anti-trans people in sports completely around on him, he asks Shapiro why the issue even matters to him. Trans people are no threat and are not in…

TERF shocked to discover that the real world is not an online echo chamber, and that instead the average woman either supports or just doesn’t care about trans people the way they do
#of course there are transphobes everywhere but they are not as prominent as their online presence#the average person who doesn’t care about trans people isn’t talking about it on twitter#they’re either not on it or are busy looking at the news and sports instead#and they actually represent a much bigger part of the population than the internet would suggest#because the average transphobe is so much louder online than an average trans supporter/indifferent person

The first image is of a tweet from the official NHL twitter account (@ NHL) in reply to @ BlueMountain12 reading "Trans women are women. Trans men are men. Nonbinary identity is real." It was posted 22 November 2022

I have just been used as an example to “prove” why trans people don’t belong in sports.
…
Anyways, trans rights are human rights. Trans people belong in sports. Fuck all of the “I support trans people but-“ people.

At what point will the people shouting about the unfairness of the so called “trans panic” realize that they are just claiming that men (or those who were assigned male at birth) are superior to everyone else.
#trans issues#trans rights#transphobia#sexism#trans people in sports#it’s more than just ‘physical’ sports too#they’re pulling this bs ‘logic’ in videogames#like???? do bellybuttons now also dictate how we’re able to move thumbs on a controller?#this is just sad#‘love thy neighbor’ remember?#just let people enjoy things#people are people#and therefore deserve a chance at life and happiness#even if you don’t understand#sad#feminism#no one group of people is superior to anyone on the basis of their sex or gender

You realise I'm not even a radfem? Like, I'm Muslim, I inherently don't agree with one of the fundamental aspects of radical feminism.

always kind of frustrated that the conversation around gendered segregation in sports is sort of dismissed as "well men can't handle losing to women" and it's never deconstructed further like. the elephant in the room is that institutionally it serves a purpose of functionally cosigning women to lesser treatment because of deep, deep, deep misogyny. it's not just pay, though that's the most obvious surface-level marker of inequality, but the time, effort, and support. funding, access to facilities, coaches, safety on the job (if the woman's game is even a viable professional career! if leagues even exist!) that's what support means here. the reason women do not "perform as well as men" is because of fundamental structural inequality. often, the game is decades behind. think about like... what someone playing for the chelsea woman's team could accomplish if she had access to the same salary, coaching staff, and training ground. like its important to consistently bring this up because it directly challenges the idea that "women's sports" are uniformly materially beneficial and even need "protecting" in the first place (protecting, of course, being a word which is all about weakness and coddling womanhood).
#and of course like. provides evidence that trans women arent 'invading' womens sports because it gives them a benefit#like duh most people who hate women and dont give a shit about womens sports dont need to hear this#but soooo often i see people get wrapped into this rhetorical grift who just have absolutely not thought about it#and that starts at misunderstanding how gendered sports work and just taking at face value that women are lesser#my posts

Idk how to properly explain it, but the amount of attacks against Imane Khelif aren't only misogynistic, racist and transphobic, but they also *reek* of intersexism. (Also, comparing a woman with high testosterone levels throwing a punch in boxing to literal domestic abuse is fucking weirdo behavior)
#imane khelif#i actually hope she sues the fuck out of jk rowling logan paul and the media for defamation after this#because holy fuck#putting this here because it's sports related#intersexism#transphobes#queerphobia#misogynoir#olympics 2024#when we say transphobia harms cis people too this is exactly what we mean#even more fucked up considering it's illegal to be trans in her country (Algeria) with the punishments being brutal as fuck#folks are LITERALLY putting her at risk all because they think she's “biologically male”#(have i ever mentioned how much i hate the terms “biologically male/female” btw)#edit: decided to shut off reblogs since this kinda got big and i don't want people to be given a platform to be awful

Can we also talk about the pretzel logic of calling intersex women “biologically male” or vice versa?
We know that the categories of male and female are, at best, generalizations. Neither external nor internal anatomy, chromosomes or hormones are definitive. All of those factors exist along a spectrum and can coexist in different combinations.
We have this desire, and have set up society in a way that promotes the desire, to sort people into strictly constructed blue or pink boxes, and maybe if we’re generous a third gray box for everyone who can’t neatly fit into the others.
But we’ve done that by creating increasingly meaningless criteria lists of what should be included and what must be excluded that ultimately puts more and more people into the gray box because human biology just doesn’t lend itself to rigid dimorphism that way.
What does that mean for the future of gendered sports competition? (Or other pointlessly gendered competition like acting awards?) That’s the critical question and I think we have to start with believing that people are who they say they are, and if we want to claim that certain biological truths about their bodies should cause them to be excluded from the category they choose to compete in, there has to be a true evidence based rationale for that exclusion. “More testosterone than women in sport should have“ or “completed a testosterone based puberty” don’t meet an evidence based standard.

remember when there was that post going around challenging terfs to define a chair? i have yet to watch a gender essentialist define a woman without excluding cis black women. and i want yall to watch them do it over and over again until you understand that transphobia is just repackaged white supremacy.
#have yall ever seen those dipshit charts they use#to compare the facial structures of women to see if theyre trans#but the charts are always white women#and only characterize white features#to the point where any black features are no longer considered women#its a malicious rebrand of the eurocentric beauty standard except it completely strips women of their womenhood#which to me is worse#anyway#ive been saying this for years but im glad people are taking about it now#every olympics there are women who are disqualified for having “biological advantages”#and every single olympics without fail it is always women from africa#were not protecting womans sports#were protecting white athletes#were rewarding athletes for coming from white countries#its fucking dogshit i hate it#thoughts of dante#transphobia#trans issues#transgender#trans#olympics#terfs#but were not ready for this conversation seeing as no one seems to understand why the gop wants to overturn roe v wade so bad
