My Flower Kid design (will talk about them more under cut)

It still feels like something is missing, but compared to the first draft... yeesh..., i really like this design.

I intentionally chose to make them look somewhat similar to Habit. I feel that it would add a layer to their character. They're already very similar to Boris, having that same motivation to make people smile and an association with/love for flowers. I figured that if their designs paralleled each other as well, it would solidify that they ARE similar. Just on different paths.

There are some plot reasons as well. Not really headcanons? (yet), but just some things I've noticed in canon. If they were so similar to Habit in so many ways, the others would notice. They associate FK's traits with positive experiences and trust. So it makes sense that when Habit comes back and tries to make amends, people would eventually connect those dots and may feel more open to hearing him out. A bit of psychology to it, haha

This is definitely not their final design, but I liked stepping up to the plate and making a design for them. I usually prefer an ambiguous FK, but i can't help but enjoy how creative other FK designs are :-)

(Also, their legs are slightly too long in that last one, but let's just pretend I did that on purpose.. older FK!!)

all of the pony ocs mentioned are in a divergent "mlp au" which basically just means the mlp universe but i decide everything and it isnt directly canon (or meant to be thought of as within the rules of) g4 or g5. yeah

1- their old designs but Tea Time (he/him), Pupchat (they/them) and Sugar Paws (they/them) are siblings !! yay !! they all have the same mother and grew up in close proximity to each other. Tea and Sugar share a father while Chat has a separate one. Tea is the oldest, then Chat, then Sugar

2- doodle page of a bunch of other guys. namely Meringue (he/him), Fire Flicker (he/she) and Lily Vapor (any pronouns). Meringue and Lily Vapor are both Fire Flicker's children and they grew up together

a younger Chat and Sugar before i figured out their ages in my head

mary and lily are feeding each other strawberries and laughing on their farm picnic, they saved some berries to take home and make a smoothie out of it. While lily lays on marys lap, mary is making silly braids of lily's hair and they both feel so contented
