Hmm you drew the brides from the Dracula novel. What about Lucy from the same one, I'm curious what she would look like in your style.
Thanks for the ask! In this house, we love our Bloofer Lady

Classics in a Hurry [Dracula Re-Draw]
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Some redraws of @espanolbot2 Classic in a Hurry version of Dracula. Did these when I caught some of his works on Deviantart around 2019 just for kicks. Though don't remember them tying up Mina near the end there (then again would be wise with a half vampire girlfriend haha). Enjoy.
Unrelated fact: Not long after I came across espanolbot's DA page I caught @atopfourthwall ep on Cassandra Cain and was amused when he got a little shout out explaining some of his day in making fandom work around what was going on at DC Comics. Small world eh?

In honor of Shadow getting a expansion pack in the Sonic Generations remaster this Fall. Here's a pic I did last year. It was meant for the Sonic Expo in my hometown as a raffle piece. It was rejected because the raffle had hit it's cap (though I found out about it too late thanks to those running the expo changing Twitter accounts, oy XP).
But yeah Shadow as a vampire master with his vampie "brides", Rouge and Vanilla, with a ghostly Maria by his side and Amy there as a potential victim. Kinda just threw her in for kicks, I was rushing this piece.
Regardless, enjoy!

"Naive To What's Around Her"
Tumblr media Tumblr media
[Artwork: Left: xXxoreoxXx, Right: ImfamousE]
Lindsay decided to walk around a little bit, still not quite ready to go back to the cabins. Though that feeling that something was still there didn't seem to fade. Deciding to calm her nerves she pulled out the mp3 player that Heather had taken from Eva, which she in turned had swiped on her way out during her argument with Heather, intending to give back to Eva when she got the chance. Still for the time being, there was no reason not to use it for herself. She put the buds in her ears, flipped through the song list till she landed on one she recognized and was soon bopping along with the tunes, her anxiousness melting away with the music.
However, unbeknownst to her, two figures silently floated behind, grinning their newfound fangs from ear to ear as they watched her go. Sadie having come across Lindsay first earlier and went to collect her fellow undead friend to lead back to. Now both were poised to snack on Lindsay as their first blood meal. However Katie halted the proceedings just before were about to pounce. When questioned why by Sadie, Katie noted it was their first feeding, so why not make it special by having their master likewise involved as well. Sadie quickly loved the idea and they both psychically contacted him.
When told, he was more then fine to just let them have their first hunt by themselves. It seemed simple enough for the two, especially with no witnesses. But they insisted since he was their "boyfriend". Chuckling at this, Storm conceded and ordered them to keep an eye on her while he used his powers to subtly shift the landscape so Lindsay would head off the beaten path as she continued to listen to the music.
Pretty soon. Lindsay had left the camping area altogether, completely unawares of the darkness guiding her.

Dracula: Ruler of the Night [Minerva Westenra]
Tumblr media Tumblr media
So in my rendition of the Dracula novel, Lucy's mother, here named Minerva, has more of an elevated role rather then just be a brief bit character in story. As a human, she a doting mother, practically making preparations for Lucy and Arthur's wedding and tries to care for her daughter, especially after she falls ill from Dracula's attack. She has to go out of the city for a bit for an errand and during her away time, Dracula finished feeding on Lucy.
When she gets the telegram about Lucy, she tries to rush back but her carriage is attacked by wolves and over turned, she survives but is kidnapped by Dracula's brides and brought to him where she finds out about vampires and Lucy having become one.
When the hunters (Jonathan Harker, Jack Seward, Quincy Morris, Arthur Holmwood and Abraham Van Helsing) invade Carfax Abby, they find her tied to a wall, yet seemingly no worse for wear. But when the hunters are forced to flee and are cornered in a basement of the house, Minerva is outed as a vampire when Jonathan spots her lack of reflection in a mirror. They manage to fend her off and escape, but grimly note Minerva has become one of Dracula's newest vampire brides alongside her daughter.
Hey no one said the undead had a age limit, lol. Still enjoy, I plan to post more pics with her later on.

Welcome to the Sonic Blaster page
Hello there and welcome to the blog page for a concept I have for a potential Sonic fan game, Sonic Blasters (name subject to change):
Tumblr media
What Is it?:
Another platformer? No actually, believe it or not, it's a idea for a light-gun style rail shooter. By now you're likely thinking "Say wha? Sonic with a gun? What is this Shadow the Hedgehog 2.0?". Haha nah nothing that edgy, I assure you. It's kinda like something along the line of a fast pace arcade game like Let's Go Jungle or Island if your remember those games. No reloading, just aim and fire.
But the kicker here is that the characters won't always have blasters but likewise attacking with other weapons like swords or using their fists and feet. The blasters are more an extension of the characters. So if they're going up against some Badniks, they're rushing headlong into them. So you "fire" to have your character knock them away. This is to keep it on brand with the speed aspect of the series since I picture them constantly on the move in their situations.
Another thing here is something I caught on another arcade game "Enter the Gungeon: House of the Gundead" (Yes I know, ironic from a game that has a title parodying another Sega property) in that at points an attack will be coming at you that you can't just shoot away. A prompt will come up to tell you to dodge, which you have to shoot to do so in the middle of the action or risk taking damage. The idea here is to really immerse the player in the chaotic nature of the fight.
Of course it'll likewise have the standard "Shoot the rings to damage" sections as well but with some shakeups to keep the players on their toes
So that' the idea in a nutshell, as we go on, I'll explain the story, the characters and more of the general mechanics as we go on. I should stress this is just the concept of what I would like, I'm no game developer. But if someone with the know how would be interested, then don't be afraid to comment. Then check back here for more info about this if this peaks your interested.

Welcome to The Fang House blog
Yo and welcome Loud House fans to my blog for my vampire AU (Alternate Universe) series, The Fang House.
What is it? Eh just a series of silly little pics which depicts my version of the series where Maggie (if you don't remember her, she was a very brief character in the episode "Funny Business" where Luan and Lincoln preformed for her goth birthday party. She hasn't shown up since but fans love her) is a vampire and living with her very long lived family who've recently moved to Royal Woods (least at the time of "Funny Business"). After celebrating her birthday, she's now at the point she can start her own coven and gifted a lair.
Not long after setting up, she begins to terrorize the town at night to the unaware residents. Particularly infatuated by Luan after she saved her party. Naturally a few well known characters get bitten and turned and our main characters slowly start to notice what's going on and try to stop it while trying to avoid being subjugated themselves.
----
Now your likely asking "Wait, aren't vampires Lucy's thing?" Yes it is, but there's a reason I pivot to Maggie in the story. Plus it would've been a little too obvious if I picked her. And I want a more outside source attacking the residents, the Loud family included. But don't worry though she'll be majorly involved of course, just not a vamp from the jump. And yes before anyone asks, most of the characters will be barefoot or in their socks. Why? It's just an odd quirk to me with vampires =P. Just roll with it.
Other then that, this is just for fun. As an extra too I'll throw in some stuff of vampires from the series proper, just for the heck of it.
Art will be posted here and on my Toonlegion blog as well. So double the fun are where to see this stuff. That said, hope you all enjoy.
----
Let's kick off with my inital drawing of Maggie and her mom. Should state my vampires are daywalkers. Were going by novel Dracula rules here where they can move around when the sun comes up but the trade off is that they lose their powers and no stronger then an average human. Though some are a little sensitive then others and they do eventually have to sleep if they extend themselves. The family get around this by regulating night hours and making sure their blood quota is fulfilled while they go about their day. And yes they do wear shoes when out and about in the day, they kick them off at home and while out hunting (They do a lot of wall walking and crawling after all, don't wanna leave scuffs ha ha).
Backstory on them, Maggie's family been around since the 19th century and were based out in Europe before migrating to America in the 20th century. While not royalty they are nobles and thus strong enough to have a coven with a few set up in different areas. After a mishap with a hunter, they moved to Royal Woods and set to start another from scratch.

Sketch of margen's rendition of Mina Murray/Harker only if she was completely vamped. Yeah I know most of her work just has Mina being human and being cute with Jonathan or Lucy. But I'm kinda into when she nearly succumbed to being a vampire. She why not have one of her just in full undead mode. Apologies to marghen if she see this, it's just for fun.
I'll color this later. enjoy till then

REVIEW: Suicide Squad Kill The Justice League
Tumblr media
"Repost from a comment I made on a video"
Meh, that the long and short of it for me. It's a decent enough shooter, fun transversal and the bosses are decent (though the Batman one could've been better, I heard Twitter gushing about the role reversal of being hunted by him, but it's just an interactive cutscene near the start of the game. The proper showdown isn't as inventive, if anything I'm annoyed they had to ruin the mystique of Knight's ending). But the story I honestly could care less about.
Suicide Squad has just been a "whatever" bunch to me across all media I've seen them in and it's usually always the same plot: forced into service, a lot of bickering while doing a mission, think they see a way out of Waller's grasp, it goes fubar, complete mission, right back where they started. It doesn't help I don't like Amanda at all, she was at least decent in the JL toon, but each appearance since then has slowly turned up her bitchiness and this game REALLY extenuated that to the point I was groaning anytime she comes back into play. No offense to Deborah Wilson, loved her since the MadTV days and normally enjoy seeing her digital self in stuff like the new Call of Duty and the Jedi souls-like games. But the writing here makes me want to tear my ears out every time she's ranting and raving, even when the squad is doing their jobs as ordered. Jesus, even Nick Fury on his bad days wasn't this bad. Beyond that, I was just shrugging, some bits did make me chuckle and most had me groaning at how try-hard to be edgy or comedic, felt like a New 52 version of this setting with the tone-deafness.
They don't really do anything with the Justice League other then being mustache twirling villains via the mind control, save Diana and even she hardly does much with her scant appearances because the plot can't work if she manages to save the day. Especially wasn't fond how some of the JL get send off, yeah Batman's death felt disingenuous and I really feel sorry for Arkham-verse fans that they now have to be reminded of this game down the line when they replay those games. But at the least his had gravatas to it (and I'm not heartless, I did like the little tribute they gave to Kevin at the end). Flash? Gets peed on after he's defeated. Lantern, decent but ruined by Deadshot's one liner, and Superman, oh that ONE pissed me off because they don't even bat an eye at him before the game moves on with he plot. Superman, man of steel, one of the most popular heroes, is just a damn footnote in this game. Are you kidding me?!
After that, I honestly didn't care anymore, about Brainiac, about the multi-verses and the Brainiacs that control them essentially pulling a Kang the Conqueror situation (and no I don't care about spoilers, this game doesn't care about the fans why should I?). By the end, it essentially ends on "Hey congrats you beat it but this is just part 1 of the story, more to come. Pay us money in the live service to see the rest of it in the season passes."
Speaking of, why did they have to make this an online only game on launch? Crashed a few times setting you back a ways, glitches that turned the enemies into statues, and several soft-locks. Ugh, there's a reason off-line modes are a thing from the start. Say what you will about Resident Evil 6, I know how many fans loathe that game, but Capcom at the least had the sense to include that mode on launch. So how is it Rocksteady didn't have that same thought process? Really only good thing I can say is it does look fun with friends from most videos I've seen and I guess that's what they're aiming for to keep it afloat. I've seen some people on Twitter liking it but let's see if those same masses will stay loyal for the long haul.
Again it's decent, the game's world is huge I will give it that, but doesn't give you much to do outside same missions of break shield, defend car, destroy cannon, take out horde, defend this routines. Nor does Metropolis feel as characterized as Arkham City and Gotham in "Knight". With those, I wanted to explore and see the nooks and crannies of it. Here, it feels cluttered and a lot of buildings look the same, very little stands out to me. Maybe because the game doesn't really let you breathe with the constant alien attacks to do so. Oh but the Riddler challenges are back.... Why? "Knight" burned me out on these, so I did not care when he returned and was wondering why he was even here in the first place. They couldn't pick anyone else for this? And level up is just, eh. You grind, you get better guns and costumes, ho hum. At the least it's faster then Gotham Knights.
Overall this is just average, a step up in presentation but really lacking that quality of the previous Arkham games. You'll either dig it or your won't, it's already divisive on social media as is. So all I can say, play it yourself if your curious and make your own judgement. At the least, it's not a must-buy, if you wanna wait, be my guest, you won't be missing anything if you do and you have plenty of other games to keep you busy in the meantime (Tekken 8, Like A Dragon Infinite Wealth, and the upcoming Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth at the time of this writing).

yup! agreed. most times when two things are similar it is just coincidence.
and same! learning about how shows you like have been made is always interesting :)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Did anybody ever notice how similar “The American Dragon Jake Long” and “The Life and Times of Juniper Lee” were??
I mean just look at it:
Both have the initials J.L.
Both are Asian-American teens who fight supernatural forces.
Jake has a younger sister while Juniper has a younger brother. Both just as annoying and have similar powers to their elder siblings.
Both have an elderly grandparent who is their mentor (Jake = his grandpa; Juniper = her grandma).
Both have talking dogs. (Fu-dog the Shar Pei and Monroe the pug)
This really made me think about both shows….

"Strolling With Master"
Tumblr media Tumblr media
[Artwork by: TheRScrooge on the left. ImfamousE on the right]
Eventually Storm joined the two girls and the three vampires continued on through the forest into a clearing where a little cemetery was set up. Storm explaining it was an abandoned one when some developers move things off the island and now was largely part of his family's property which, given his undead nature, certainly didn't mind. This lead to some discussion about where Storm came from (earliest memory was out in Los Angelus), how long had he been a vampire (revealing he was born one and been around at least since the 1970s) and his manor ownership (which he revealed was recent as it was a building his family had as a extra hiding spot that was given to him to start his own coven. He didn't expect to run into people so soon and it was a stroke of fate he ran into the same cave Sadie and Katie did, hence why his throne/coffin room wasn't ready yet). Plus that the island Total Drama was on was actually connected to the mainline, it was just secluded so the competition could take place in private. There was even a town past Storm's manor.
The topics soon turned to some myths about vampires:
Sunlight wouldn't kill them just strip their powers and make them no stronger then a normal human till next nightfall (when asked why media keeps stating it does, Storm answered it was hack writers getting their myths mixed up that it became commonplace. As well as using it to have easy outs to kill them off in their stories, plus largely for dramatic effect). They just had to watch their sleep schedule since they could still get drowsy if up too long.
Stakes would do the trick though, but then again who wouldn't that kill?
Garlic acts as universal allergen to vampires due to the strong smell affecting their senses, so to be careful around them.
They would be invisible to mirrors, least at night. But the reflection would come during the day. Cameras on phone could catch them just fine as they were digital and didn't use mirrors.
And crosses vary since it's a lowkey form of holy magic but depends on what fate a vampire followed when they were human to be affected, and even then can be bypassed given time.
As for powers, as the girls could see to Storm's amusement, they had flight along with super strength, speed, senses & agility, and the ability to cling to walls. They could even turn into various creatures like bats, wolves and cats too, though Storm mentioned the girls weren't ready for that just yet.
More importantly, that they now needed blood to survive. Though really didn't really need much, a least an ounce of blood to meet their quota and leave their victims stunned but unharmed, with only full draining needed to turn someone. Storm even had a few blood packs on hand which he had gotten from...sources. Though he admitted hunting and feeding does keep a vampire's senses sharp and basically like exercise to them, plus, y'know, it's fun being a terror of the night. That said he did have rules which were likewise imparted to him by his family: Keep bites clean, no messy gory feedings, no evisceration and dismemberment if they could help it and no needless cruelty, otherwise they could enjoy themselves as they wished during their nightly outings.
Storm then gave them the option to go feed on one of the packs or hunt and, unsurprisingly, the girls were all gung-ho for the latter which he figured as much, chuckling at their enthusiasm. It was just as well, he was very curious of this reality show they were on and steered the conversation into what the girls knew about their fellow contestants. The girls quickly catching on to his drift and smiling wickedly their newly gained fangs in response.
