Tepota’s Exhibition 2022 in TOKYO Winter
Tepota is going to held "Exhibition 2022 in TOKYO Winter" from Dec 15th to Dec 19th. It is the second time to have Tepota's oneperson's show. It has been a 4 and half years since last time I had a show. I have created several newly designed potteries in this COVID-19 circumstance. Finally I will be able to show you those new works including "Tepota meets TOKONAME1" which is the latest work for Tepota. I asked craftman in Tokoname to make my designed teapot. It's been a good finish. Please stop by and see my works in the show. And also, you can enjoy Japanese tea with Tepota's teawares. I look forward to seeing you at the Tepota’s Exhibition 2022 in TOKYO Winter.

Strolling through Tokoname :)
You can see so many kilns around this place and despite not seeing any potters you could see which kiln were active and which weren't :) They even make the ceramic thingies to secure the slopes around this place themselves :o The craftsmen found many nice creative ways to use these thingies for other purposes such as fishtanks planting pots, etc. :)
Both the inactive and the active kilns have their appeal and make you wonder what was or will be made in those :3
The buildings are in all kinds of states and offer an interesting insight into how Japanese houses age :) Some of the houses along the way are quite old (according to my own judgement and knowledge of Japanese architecture and construction methods :) some are relatively recent and some are just quickly built sheds. This practicality is what makes for the of this place and the amount of empty old houses seems to be what attracts artists and craftsmen as real estate is probably not too expensive here yet it is a charming place to be in :)
I felt sad leaving the Kei truck behind (^-^;) I kind of wished to take it with me and to repair it (^-^;) Maybe update it so it could be used far into the future... I liked the scenery too :)
I’m feeling better although I’m still a bit weak :) I will start working again tomorrow :)
I wish everyone a great rest of the week with sweet dreams and health (^-^)/
