I loved tony stark’s death. I’m actually happy he’s not returning. He got his happy ending with a wife and kids and assurance that he saved the world after all the destruction he brought on it.

I loved the scene in healer of his mentor dying because they gave it a good delivery. Sad. Expected. And NOT brushed aside

gu jian, goodbye my princess. xiaofeng's death is a close second. while this character wasn't my favorite, i think this death is the most impactful to me in the drama-- it signals the final point of no return for all the main characters, was absolutely brutal, the ML went full unhinged, and it gave me a montage set to 'love catastrophe' which is an auto ;;

Post-Drama Syndrome: Bye Empress Ki, I don't think I'll revisit you anytime soon.

Sorry. I need to write this one. There’s so much goin’ on my head right now and I need to let it all out. My feels and EVERYTHING  about this drama. I’ve been losing sleep because of this. So para matigil na gusto ko sabihin ung point ko. My love and hate relationship with this drama.  Tbh I know Ji Chang Wook as the main lead character of Healer but I’m not quite fond of him. Pero after watching this OMG! Ji Chang Wook I’m gonna swim pacific ocean just for youuuu! LOL. Basta I like his spoiled and childish character here. Team emperor ako all the way. TahNyang Shipper and also TalTal supporter.  I dedicate this post to TahNyang shipper/TeamEmperor: For most of the series I felt anger towards every evil person in Togon and SeungNyang's life. Well thankfully every bad person got what they deserve. My take on the whole love triangle thing, SeungNyang seemed infatuated with Wang Go but unknowingly learned to love Ta Hwan slowly and truthfully.

 I believe this is what the writers wanted to convey as well, for the romance plot. And it was a pretty good one, keeping the viewers in suspense how Nyang really felt about Wang Yu vs the Emperor. There were 2 giveaways in earlier episodes. First was when she left his tent (when they were away from the palace, hunting) and she said she felt fear (for the first time). She feared that she would fall in love with him. Because I think falling in love with the emperor is not part of her plan. Second was when the Emperor forced himself on her and she said "you don't know what my greatest fear is ...it's when you are done with me". Although both dialogues could be construed to mean something else, context depending. It is all clear in this last episode when she finally said that she truly loves him. To me the recap of the horse riding scene from ep.4 showed that fate has made Nyang subconciously decides who her heart belongs to early on. From the very beginning she feels more at ease with the Emperor and can always be her trueself around him. Her feelings towards Wang Yu has always and only been admiration, which she thinks she should rightfully be with as she cannot accept the guy who caused the death of her father. Remember when Wang Yu asked Nyang to be his bride, she even hesitates for sometime before answering to Wang Yu´s confession as she teared up thinking of the time with Ta Hwan. Although she made it clear to Ta Hwan that she came back for revenge and revenge only, but her I-will-never-love-you-confidence falters as time passes. To Ta Hwan, Nyang is his sole purpose to stay alive, his world evolves around her. It´s clear that they are completely smitten with each other. At least Wang Yu has some loyal servants and friends. For Ta Hwan there is only Nyang, his father was killed, he was a tool for almost his entire reign to everyone around him, even his stepmother tried to kill him. Which explains why he is so insecure and emotionally unstable all the time (I’m not being biased but pls understand uri peha). I'd say the horse riding scene and the first 20 episodes have their sweetest moments since the middle and last few episodes w/ Seung Nyang as Lady Ki already didn't have many sweet moments anymore, thats why the ending scene is painful bec it brings us back as to the first time Empress Ki & Emperor race towards their fate. Seung Nyang's first love is Wang Go but her last/ultimate love is Ta Hwan. For me, Seung Nyang is a friend, a brother, a mother, a lover and everything for Ta Hwan that's why she’s best suited him in the end. So Team TahNyang/Team Emperor all the way. The Emperor didn’t got any love he deserves, he only got traitors and users beside him. I love how he love Nyang whole heartedly that he protected her at all cost. I love Wang Yu too he did everything to save Nyang but I like it more that Nyang  end up with Emperor. As I've said the Emperor got nothing on his back but Wang Yu got a lot of love from his server and Nyang too.I'm just glad the Emperor got to die in the arms of the woman he loved and fought for. And that the last words he heard were her sincere feelings, I'm just so so happy he got to go with a happy heart :'( Ahhh fuck i’m on the verge of crying again. Basically, I'm glad I'm fucking done with this series. The emotional roller coaster it took me through, only worth it because of the actors. The fact that it's FICTIONAL and yet written with such a devastating plot makes me mad somewhat because there was SO MUCH heartbreak. Bye Empress Ki, I don't think I'll revisit you anytime soon. Ok I lie, I just may to see bratty JCW again hehehehehehe.

That's the tragedy and beauty of the drama. Seungnyang always loved Tahwan but she only told him at the very end. We, the viewers, and Seungnyang herself were so angry that she couldn't express her feelings to Tahwan sooner; that they didn't have more time. But on the other hand, Tahwan finally got to hear what he'd been longing to hear for so long. It was a happy moment for him. That's why the ending is so painful and meaningful at the same time; because of how bittersweet it is.

I didn't like Empress Ki's finale! At all!!!

I have just watched finale of Empress Ki.. I’m crying for Ta Hwan.. He was maybe the lonelinest and the saddest character of drama.. He always tried to face all hardships on his own. There was literally noone he could truly trust. Even Nyang kept many secrets from him. All he wanted was at least someone he could receive love and trust. He always doubted Nyang’s feelings for him and tried to please her. Yes, Nyang finally revealed her true feelings but wasn’t she too late? He finally heard the words that he always wanted to hear from Nyang, but in his last moments. It is unfair!!
