I'm still working out how to clip this show. One-liners, impressive animation, maybe some light shipping when I notice it or care to highlight it -- that's the current standard. Might try shorter action sequences another time, but for now they work better as videos.

Special notes for this set:

Despite my earlier expression of distaste for Cyclops, he actually ended up with several GIFs. The second to last one was the most '90s line spoken on the show, so I had to.

Rogue/Gambit won this episode's shipping representation. Funny. I don't really care for Gambit that much, but I'll acknowledge the chemistry there.

Apparently, I love Storm in Goddess Mode because she got two GIFs. Second one probably would have been better as a gifset because the framerate is garbage, but I wasn't in the mood to do a gifset. Go watch the episode and see it happen, it rules.

Never forget the original

The funny thing about the X-Men famous battle cry is that it's a fairly recent addition. Although Xavier said something similar way back in X-Men #1 ("And now, return to me, my X-men"), he didn't use that exact phrase until Grant Morrison's New X-Men in 2001. Even after that it was only used sporadically. It wasn't until around 2013 that it entered regular use. This is why it was never used in the original animated series or any of the movies.
