it sucks sometimes when you have chronic pain in some way and you go online like is there anything i can do and the internet is like sure you can spend a whole bunch of money on a procedure to fix it so you’re like :/ but then ten years go by and it gets way worse so you’re like fine i really should fix that and then you do and your pain and all of your problems go away in like. a day.

Oh yesterday when I went to the dentist the hygienist told me I was a "good brusher" and my thought was "oh boy I'm going to get a good grade in dentist, something that's normal to want and possible to get"

Has anyone had Botox for their tmj pain? I'm not getting a splint made for another 6/7 months and I simply think I will ✨perish✨ before that comes around with this pain. I worry about the affects as I don't have a very square jaw, and I don't really want to change my face shape but at this point I don't know what else to try! Already have one of those head wrap things with the gels you cool and heat and it's not helping. This has been like 2 years of this now but the last 4/5 months have been constant and today is the worst it's ever been.

i’m so mad bc i’m realizing that i can’t escape my emotional and psychological issues by thinking them through or literally running away from them. i have to FEEL my feelings? in my BODY???

like i know i’ve been avoiding that kind of work for a long ass time but goddamn. i wanted to keep avoiding it. i wanted to keep being self punishing with intense workouts and not ever slowing down and hoping that’d be enough physicality to deal my emotions but nooooo. i have to actually feel them. wtf

have been doing yoga extremely irregularly for a week and a half and just today was able to touch my toes for the first time since like sophomore year high school and I was so excited I yelled. and then did it again and yelled again. several times.
