I created a GFM for a dental emergency. 🦷🚨
I have a bit of a predicament, guys. Spanning the past two years — and I cannot take it anymore.
I never ask for help like this, but this is getting more serious than I can handle anymore on my own. If you have the time to check this out, **even if all you can do is share this post to get it around on Tumblr, I'd appreciate that. Please and thank you!

(ranting and venting about tooth pain and other stuff under the cut, you've been warned)
THERES THIS ONE TOOTH IN THE BACK OF MY LOWER MOUTH THAT WON'T STOP HURTING
ITS BEEN GOING IN FOR HOURS
MY EARS ARE STARTING TO DO THAT THING WHERE IT SOUNDS LIKE THEIR VIBRATING AND ITS LITERALLY NOT HELPING ME AT ALL
I CANT SLEEP AT ALL
I LITERALLY WOKE UP FROM SLEEPING BECAUSE MY TOOTH STARTED HURTING AND THEN MY EARS BEGAN DOING THAT STUPID THING AGAIN
IT WON'T STOP
I DON'T HAVE ANYTHING OR ANYONE GO HELP ME OUT
I'm gonna start crying I have no clue what to do and have no one to help me out here. I don't usually post vents or rants unless their positive but I needed to let this out because everyone I know is asleep and can't help me and I'm just so overwhelmed at the moment-

All of my molars are still hurting everytime I eat/chew. I also think I forgot to take my Cymbalta last night, so that sucks. I completely forgot. I haven't felt any withdrawals yet, so hopefully the half life of it will stay until my next dosage.
Still looking for any comments on if anyone else has experienced tooth pain while being on Cymbalta, and if so, if it disappeared eventually. (I'm very worried it's rapid tooth decay, but I've been on the medication for less than 2 weeks, it would be setting in extremely quickly if it were the case).
I genuinely don't think I've been clenching my jaw because I have no jaw discomfort or pain at all, just the tooth pain.

Kill Tooth Pain Nerve Permanently
Tooth nerve pain can be excruciating, but finding relief starts with understanding its root cause. Whether it’s due to cavities, gum infections, or enamel erosion, the key to lasting comfort lies in proper dental care. While home remedies like saltwater rinses or cold compresses can provide temporary relief, they don’t offer a permanent solution. Professional treatments such as root canals or fillings are essential for addressing the underlying issue. Maintaining good oral hygiene and regular check-ups can help prevent future pain, ensuring strong and healthy teeth for the long run.

Toothache & Dental Pain
We will relieve your pain today.
Why does toothache occur and what causes it?
Dental pain can occur for a variety of reasons, and the causes of dental pain can vary depending on the individual. Some common causes of dental pain include:
Tooth decay: When bacteria in the mouth produce acids that erode the enamel of the tooth, it can lead to a cavity or tooth decay, which can cause dental pain.
Gum disease: Gingivitis and periodontitis are two common types of gum disease that can cause inflammation and pain in the gums.
Tooth fracture: A fracture in the tooth can expose the sensitive inner layers of the tooth, leading to pain and sensitivity.
Grinding teeth: Teeth grinding or clenching can lead to tooth sensitivity and pain.
It’s important to see an emergency dentist if you experience dental pain so that they can diagnose the underlying cause and provide appropriate treatment.
What are the treatment options for toothache?
Suffering from toothache? These are some of the treatment options available for toothache depending on the cause and individual cases:
Fillings
Extractions
Gum / Periodontal Treatment
Root Canal Treatment
other
As each case differs, our highly experienced dental professionals will need to go through your dental history and examine your oral condition first in order to determine the cause of your toothache before deciding on your treatment option that suits you best.
Feel free to contact us 24/7 if you are experiencing toothache or any other dental discomfort, our dentists will be here to look after you.
Toothaches can signify several problems such as
a. infection or the emerging of wisdom teeth
b. decay has reached the nerve and the nerve gets infected. This can cause a severe toothache.
c. Gum infection
The treatment varies from removal of the tooth or a root canal treatment. Even if the pain is bearable, it is best that you consult with an emergency dentist as soon as possible to prevent worsening of the condition. If you leave it alone for too long, the problem may be much harder to treat and will cost a lot more.
Emergency Dental Problem 2 in Sydney - Broken Tooth:
Although fillings and crowns are meant to last for a while, they can be damaged and weaken over time. The tooth itself can fracture due to eating hard foods or if there is any decay. When a filling is dislodged, you will feel an excruciating pain for a few moments.
It is best to seek an emergency dentist in Sydney to replace the filling soon to prevent future problems.
Emergency Dental Problem 3 in Sydney - Damaged Teeth:
This issue is quite common and is due to trauma of some type. A tooth can be saved if it is knocked out, but only if you get emergency dental work done within the hour. An emergency dentist will check for any possible damage to the gums or root of the tooth to find out if it can be reattached. If not, there are plenty of options available to make it seem it was never lost. A chipped tooth can be easily repaired as well.
Emergency dentists can handle all of the problems above and even more serious ones such as periodontal disease and tooth decay. Smile Concepts is an emergency dentist in Sydney available to those who need immediate work done at any time of day. If possible, please call in before coming so we can readily prepare for your case. Our professional dentists will address any problems you may have.
If you would like any further information on our Emergency Dentist Sydney then please call us on 9002 7474 (Sydney CBD)
