Janus did feel bad. Like really bad. He hadn't wanted to make Tiresias uncomfortable. Which is why he was going to apologize today and maybe ask if there was anyway he could make it right.

As of right now, he was walking the halls, hoping to the Seven that by some miracle, he could just run into Tiresias by chance.

It's been maybe a few days since Janus came and apologized, since then Tiresias hasn't seen the Pomefiore student, until now.

He was sitting in the library, hidden in a study nook and facing the window. He seemed to be frantically scrubbing at his skin, which was covered in white frost.

(hello again! I like interacting with you too! :3 also fun fact, I considered giving Tiresias frostbitten fingertips in his design since this au’s underworld was really cold—)

[Tiresias takes a moment to figure out where Janus is. Once he locates the other boy, he wraps his arms around his shoulders. Even though his body is a bit cold, it’s clear that he’s doing his best to warm Janus up.]

Setting: in the past, year 5/7 — when Tiresias was changed into a woman as punishment by Hera. They were blinded at a young age, but their sight is not nearly as bad as it is by the time they are in the underworld (they can see your blur). They have their gift of hearing/understanding the songbirds (after being blinded), but have not been able to speak any prophecies yet.

Interact if you want, but don’t feel forced to; enjoy!

The Temple of Hera was large enough to be called a labyrinth, and it certainly felt like one. Weaving halls pouring out into magnificent gardens full of statues, flowers and hedges fit for hiding in. It was a beautiful landmark, perfectly sculpted like her husband’s temple. Though his was high above, proudly sitting on a hill, while hers sat peacefully hidden in the groves of the forest.

It was practically empty, no mouse nor serpentine thing dared to disturb. But there was something there, or more, someone.

A young woman, dressed in peplos, she wore her hair in many different braids. Some were decorated, others were plain, but all held a story and kept it out of her face. Her face, that of which you could not see. However, it would be good to make note of the staff nearby. It was a wooden one, natural and new, but very deeply loved. Flowers and charmed beads hung off it, and a long, gold carved serpent swirled up, hanging at the curve down with a water lily hung from its mouth, a faint light glowing from it. 

She was working peacefully, making no disturbance to the silence other than a low hum of a distant melody. It was unclear what exactly she was doing, but it would be an estimation that, at this time of day, it could be an offering. Still, something felt off in the moment, here in this temple, like you were intruding on something. It was your choice whether to leave or not—she has yet to notice you were even here—but your decision best be made quick, and quietly.

I LIVE for their art, especially Tiresias stuff!!!! =D

ngl didn’t know he ended up in Asphodel at first, he always seemed like he just— appeared. Either he was at the crossroads or he was everywhere. Odysseus has to summon his ghost, so I figured he just kinda floated around and didn’t have a set place to go.

The line “where do prophets go after they die . . . I can’t speak for the others” makes my heart ache so much.

Especially with how I rp Manto and Mopsus—Tir’s daughter and grandson who became PROPHETS—are in Asphodel (Elysium for Mopsus bcz he traveled with the Argonauts) and him just being like “I can’t speak for the others” makes me think of them

Everything about this is perfect, honestly I would eat this art /silly

More Tiresias angst :D (What if maybe, just maybe he was reluctant in being a prophet?)

Edit: Once again my comic panels are wonky cause Concepts is limited and I suck at formatting :’ Edit edit: I just wanted to point out in the original myth, Tiresias does end up in Asphodel but I wanted to make him more tragic lol))

I put Anticlea in Asphodel and Polites in Elysium, but Polites visits her sometimes :D

ooc: I think they have a great bond! Aka. basically no bond at all because we haven’t interacted, but @best-dressed-on-mt-olympus , Tir is craving some wine and might ask you to bring some, so if you feel like Hermes would respond to that sort of call and hang out with Tir for a little, I think that’d be cute

Also; I LOVE SLOAN’S ART!!!! Like- AAAA but anyway, those two interacting is just too funny. Love them (giving flying snakes/harbringers /silly /nf /gen)
