Cause Time Cut is such a sad movie from Lucy point of view.

The killer shouldn't have been from the future, they should have made Summers death 'Written in Stone' and Summer should have taught Lucy to stand up for herself.

The movie should have ended on an angrier note, like Lucy telling her parents off and going to do her NASA internship and changing her name to something she and Summer decided on and then her living her own life.

i just started watching MADISON BAILEY and ANTONIA GENTRY's new movie TIME CUT !!

i'm only 30 mins in but: one of the scenes is giving never have i ever, scenary is what i imagined tsitp would look like, the y2k setting is so mean girls era, there's the nerd-and-cool-science-teacher trope, and the time travel theme itself is sending me back to five hargreeves and his apocalypses, which all have me squealing.

also can i say that madison and antonia are PERFECT. body is tea and face card is wild even though the 2003 and 2018-ish outfits are two hours away from killing me.

as for the movie itself, there are definitely some cliches and moments or subjects that don't really strike or are kinda cringy, but i've also found several pretty interesting details set up and the mask of the killer itself is scaring my inexperienced ass pretty well, so i don't think the flaws are gonna be fatal enough to make the movie itself dissatisfying.

one thing i do gotta mention is how well played the emotions are ?? madison and her character's complexity is beautiful. i haven't really seen antonia in anything else and her character isn't the emotional focus of the film yet either but her subtle display of emotions seems pretty good and honestly, the casual acting is making some scenes so good. the emotions in this film are so complicated, and just as well executed by the lines and acting.

but y'all can decide for yourselves. it'll be a nice halloween flick, and the actors, time travel, and the horror aspects are gonna be enough to make it a decent watch !!

Jennifer's Body (2009) Heart Hoodie Dupe (possibly the Dollskill variation) in a shopping mall scene in the new Netflix teen slasher film 'Time Cut'.

The set design of the bedrooms and mall is unfortunately not 100% accurate to 2003, more like the current '2024 Does 2000s' that we see today, but props for trying. Even the clothes are all over the shop. Clock those shutter shades? They're 80s but also had a resurgence in the late 2000s, closer to 2010's.

Time Cut is predictable and really Fucked up like emotionally

● Like what do you mean your first kid was murdered and your first thought was to have another as a replacement. They honestly might as well of just named the second child Summer as well. They named the second girl the first girls middle name.

[I don't think the sisters look alike, maybe skin tone wise but that's it]

● Product placement is everywhere and very obvious.

● While it's a slasher flim, they don't actually show you any of the deaths, like they cut away from the gory bits. [Which i find weird but whatever]

[Apparently the fashion in the 2003 year isn't right and I honestly can't agree or disagree cause I was a child at that time and didn't pay attention nor do I remember]

● I like how Lucy is, questioning if she should stop the killings. (Cause butterfly effect)

Madison Lily Bailey isn't the best actress, like she's good on OuterBanks but here, it's not very good unfortunately.

You know what actually no one probably expect for Antonia Gentry can act.

Maybe it's the script, cause everyone is off but her.

● Sad scenes are still hitting where it hurts though

● It would have been really sad but they honestly should have had Lucy cease to exist, cause I don't understand how she's supposed to support herself living in the past, she has no identity, she can't sleepover at Summers and Quinn houses forever.

Someone's gonna start asking questions, or you think time wouldn't allow someone to just stay in the past unchecked.

●I've said it before but Time Travel is a tricky bitch

Would the killer really look exactly the same 20 years later? I think not

That makeup looks horrid, they should have gotten an older looking actor.

This movie was clearly made on a budget, how much? Two dimes and a dream

● "Take advantage of the present" is a wild sentence for someone that stayed in the past. Lol

Okay, so my final thoughts, um.. it's an Okay movie.

It just seemed like the main character just gave up, and I guess she couldn't really talk to her parents. But a blow up fight with them [like how she's her own person and not just their replacement for the daughter they lost] before the time travel back to 2003 would have been so good. Like they play a big part in Lucy life, her character and we don't see them much in the movie. I wish she would have gotten angry with them. Instead its just sadness.

So much more could have been done with the parents and I feel like we missed out.

Lucy a bit too comfortable for me, she's totally okay with her not existing and being a stranger to her parents.

While it's not an OG idea, and they have legit the same mask or something similar from Totally killer, I wouldn't compare the two.

Different Ball parks by far.

One I'd definitely buy the DVD and the other is a one and done

Like– the time when like, I didn't like– I- I- I had a moment where it's like I– do you guys remember in December when I- I was not around a lot? And like, I had to take breaks and all this stuff and it turns out it was like the concert stuff? They all like would message me regularly, like, we would all keep up with each other, and we would all talk. And I remember telling them about like, how much stress I was under, and like all the- all the pressures of the concert and stuff, and– and they were cheering, and- and- and they were just so... so kind to me, it was just so– so sweet, and- and you know, I was in a group chat with a- with a few people, and they were all just so excited and- and- just super nice, and- and very- very sweet, and it's just– and it's just very– I'm sorry if I'm rambling! It's just...

Ironmouse: I dunno! I- I- I just enjoy being here, and I enjoy hanging out with everybody, and... it's just nice to meet really good people. You don't really find that. You don't find that sort of thing all the time. Don't get me wrong– it's not like I haven't met a lot of good people, like– I just feel like this whole like, my whole like– Ever, like– My streaming journey, I've just been nothing but surprised at the goodness of people? Don't get me wrong– I've met assholes and sht like that, and I've met- I've encountered some people that are NOT so nice. I'll never like, talk about it or whatever because that's their thing, and I'm just gonna do my thing and I don't wanna like, you know, spread any type of stupid drama or whatever the fck, but like... I'm just always surprised about how– how incredibly nice people are, and how genuine a lot of people are, and it's... It- it's just nice, especially since like– You're used to coming from like, a certain background and a certain like, environment where it's like, you've met a lot of like fcked up mean people in your life, and you've just been around a lot of like fckery, you know? So when- when you're around stuff that's NOT fcked, it's just like, "Woah, this is crazy! Is this- is this how life is supposed to be?!" And it's just- it's just really... it's really- it's really nice. It's very nice.

Ironmouse: Yeah, it's very refreshing, that's why I- I enjoy hanging out on here, everybody's just so nice to me. And it's not just like being nice just to be on-stream, it's nice off-stream, on-stream, friendship on-stream, off-stream, it's- it's just- it's just so- it's- it's- it's wonderful. It's wonderful. And I just have to say like... man, I'm just really thankful that like... it's crazy that like I got invited to be on here and I'm just really thankful that, you know...
