Cassie: call him Tim.
Bart: yeah Tim call him!
Tim: why is it always me that calls him? Why do I always call him? Huh it’s not like Kon lives in my ass.
Tim: (sees Cassie and Barts expression and turns)
Kon: ( whispers seductively as he pushes his sunglasses a little down his nose) you called babe?
Tim: (blushes hard) Damn it Kon.
Kon: Do you want me to- (gets tacked by Tim)
Cassie: should we stop them? ( Tim shoves Kon’s head in a wall) we have a mission.
Bart: nah let Batman and Superman deal with it. (Pulls out phone and starts recording)

I'll ask after that secret number 8!
I only remembered secret number 8 because I saw your wip here! I'd started this one based on the same prompt, then lost said prompt and stopped working on it 😅
Instead of a snippet, I'm just dropping it all here - maybe that way I'll feel inspired to finish it?
———
It’s a full house for dinner tonight and, really, that should have tipped him off.
Bruce sits at the head of the table, smiling softly as he watches over everyone’s antics. Damian is regaling Dick with everything they saw at the zoo that day (Danny had been so happy to see Delilah the purpleback gorilla again, and her new little additions to the troupe, too!) and how well they are implementing the grant the Wayne Foundation had gifted them. Tim, Steph, Cass, and Duke are all engaged in a thumb-war tournament which Danny has no interest in participating in. It just wouldn’t be fair on them.
Danny loves that look. The one where Bruce’s eyes crinkle when he thinks none of the kids can see him. It oozes love and it makes Danny’s heart, his core, ache.
It’s been a little over a year since Alfred found him on the street and managed to wrangle him back to the manor to stay—even after the whole biting thing when he realised how rich they were.
A little over a year here and Danny’s starting to feel like family.
Starting to feel like he might, just maybe, like to make it official.
“Danny,” Bruce says, drawing everyone’s attention. Danny starts at his name, but Bruce’s voice is warm and calm, and his shoulders lose their tension almost immediately. “Danny, I have something I would like to tell you.”
“Uhhh…” is all Danny can croak out, eyes flicking back and forth between Bruce and the rest of them. Smooth. Looking good, Danny.
Except… they’re all happy. All smiles, all relaxed body language, all radiating calm and love and acceptance. Well, not Damian—his face is as thunderous as it always is—which at least means it’s nothing too out of the ordinary.
“Danny, first of all, I just want to impress upon you that this is in no way something you have to do. You are under no obligation to join us and, no matter what, you shall always be welcome with us in the manor.”
Wait, what? Danny squints at Bruce, trying to parse exactly what he’s saying… Is he—is this them asking to adopt him? Do they want to make it official, too?
It’s been a little over a year and of course Danny has imagined calling Bruce ‘Dad’. Of course he’s imagined being part of the family, of course he wants to make it official!
He can’t help the beaming grin or the bright and bubbling “Yes!” already waiting on his lips. All Bruce has to do is ask, all Danny needs to hear is—
“I’m Batman.”
The smile freezes on Danny’s face.
His lungs stop working, his heart stops working, he stops working, he just—
“And I’m Nightwing,” Dick smiles, breaking the awkward silence.
Danny’s eyes snap to him, and then down to Tim when he admits to being Red Robin. Duke is Signal, Steph is Spoiler. Damian begrudgingly tells him he’s Robin, but Danny can barely hear it over the ringing in his ears.
“I’m Black Bat.” Cass cocks her head, almost looking concerned. It always felt like she understood him the most. Whenever he was feeling low, too in his memories, or stewing after a nightmare, she was always there, ready to card her fingers through his hair and never mention his tears. It makes his heart ache to think of it now. “It’s okay, Danny.”
It’s meant to be reassuring, but how—how can it be okay? How?
Danny’s spent a little over a year with them. A little over a year with Batman.
Batman, who works with the Justice League, who works with…
A little over a year.
Just under 16 months since he escaped.
“Danny? Are you alright?” Bruce asks
Finally, his lungs kickstart and suck in a shuddering breath, only for everyone to drop their smiles.
Didn’t take them long, did it? Now that their ruse is up, there’s no kindness in their eyes, they’re just… cold, calculating. Evaluating.
“Why?” Danny gasps, his fingers tingling, his heart in his throat.
Just under 16 months since he—has he escaped? Or was this just another one of their experiments?
"I... I trusted you, why—" Danny chokes back a sob, gritting his teeth as his shoulders shake. Why? Why would they do this? "I was happy here, with you. I thought... Weren't you happy?"
"Danny..." Bruce is looking at him, eyes narrow and eyebrows pinched, in some cruel facsimile of confused concern and all Danny can think is how much of an actor he is. How well he can play the part of a doting father. How much he made him want that.
"I don't understand, why..."
"I'm sorry we didn't tell you before, I can imagine that it comes as a shock. We shouldn't have lied to you, Danny, but—"
"Stop it!" Danny slams his hands down on the table and pushes himself up on wobbly legs. Even standing, he feels so small. Smaller than Bruce, than all of his adopted siblings. They crowd above him when they all stand, too. "Just stop it! Why are you doing this, why are you still pretending? Stop it!"
It was easier, with Danny's biological parents. The knowledge that they'd do anything to get him on a lab table, to open him up and see what makes him tick, to rip him apart molecule by molecule, had always been there. He knew they hated ghosts. He knew they hated Phantom. He knew they hated him. It was easier because it was something he'd known all his life. When he died, when he became a ghost, he knew what to expect from them. It hurt, of course it did.
But it was easier than this.
"Danny, I'm going to need you to take a deep breath. You're having a panic attack and you need to breathe."
"Breathe?" Danny laughs, the sound harsh and choking, too high pitched in his hysteria. "You're joking, right? Or is this just more of the—the experiment?"
"Danny, please, we don't know what you're talking about, you—"
"You don't know? You're Batman! You work with the Justice League, you work with—" His words choke off as his stomach churns, bile rising in his throat. His whole body itches, screaming at him to leave, he can't go back, he can't, he can't, he can't!
Bruce takes a hesitant step forward and Danny scrambles back, his feet catching on the chair behind him and sending him careening to the floor. Where are the agents? Why aren't they swarming in, ready to apprehend him, strap him back on the table, carve him from the inside out.
"Please, Danny, calm down. We don't—"
Danny stops listening. His back hits the wall and he pulls his knees into his chest, his shoulders dipping down as he begins to sob. His heart throbs inside his throat, too painful to swallow around. Tears fall hot and heavy on his face.
Sure, he could run. He could phase out through the wall and he could be out of Gotham in a couple of hours. He's escaped the GIW once, he can do it again.
But that was before Batman knew who he was. Before he had the World's Greatest Detective on his tail.
Before he...
He really thought this would be different, you know?
He wanted to make it official.
"Why did... Why were you so nice to me? Why did you make me like you? I really—I really liked you. I-I thought we could be a family."
"Danny, we are a—"
"Don't lie to me!" Danny snaps, but the force of his anger leeches all the fight from him, and suddenly all that's left is a bone-weary tiredness. There’s a lump in his throat that hurts. There’s a line down his chest that burns. "I don't care. I don't care anymore, I don't. Just... don't make me go back there. Please."
Is it futile? He thought he knew how the GIW operated by now, the depths that they would go to achieve their results, but this... this was a whole new level of pain that Danny thought he had left behind him in Amity.
"We're not going to make you go anywhere, Danny, you're safe here, I promise."
"Safe? Safe? You must have—" he takes a deep breath, tries to stop the quivering of his voice. It’s all starting to make sense, now.  "The reason you're telling me who you are is because you must have told them everything already. I know the Justice League—I know you're working with them, which means the ex-experiment is over now, and they're coming to take me back. And I can't go back."
"Danny—"
"I can’t!” Danny glares at Bruce with all the rage he can, fingernails digging into his skin. “I’m not going back!"
"That's right, you're not going back, Danny. I won't let that happen." Bruce crouches down in front of Danny, his hands open and raised as if he's trying to say he's not a threat. "I don't know who you're talking about, and I'm sorry about that, but I can promise you that you’re not going back there. We will keep you safe."
Danny pulls himself closer, tucks himself further into the wall, eyes flickering all across the room waiting for that tell-tale flash of white as the agents start to swarm.
He should take his chances now and run, he should go, he needs to go!
The rest of them, his brothers and sisters of a little over a year, are spread out, giving him and Bruce some space. The same concern colours all of their faces. Why are they still pretending?
Steph is chewing on her thumb.
Danny liked Steph and her brash confidence, her jokes. She's been promising to paint his nails for months now, they've just never found the time. He was going to go for green and black, or maybe a galaxy theme, depending on what she felt comfortable doing.
He likes them all.
"You were supposed to be my family." His mouth turns down at the corners and his voice shakes like a child. "You were supposed to—why? Why would you—I don't understand why you would make me like you..."
"This isn't an experiment, Danny," Bruce's voice is steady, soothing. "I promise."
"But you work with them and—"
"Who do I work with?"
"The Justice League."
"Yes, I do, but we—"
"And the Justice League works with them. The GIW." Danny trembles with the name, clutching tightly onto his hoodie. "I'm not going back there, Bruce."
Danny doesn't miss Bruce's look over his shoulder, nor Tim's nod in return. Tim turns slightly to the side to hide his movements, but Danny bets he has his phone in his hand, probably letting them know they can take him now. Guess this is it, then. They'll be here soon, and he'll be gone.
"Kill me."
"Danny? What do—"
"If you ever had any kindness for me, if you ever cared, kill me. Please, Bruce. I can't do it again."
"Danny..."
"End me now. Take my core out and break it, please, before they get here."

unexpected.
after your planned date with tim takes an unexpected turn, you show him just how full of surprises you are…
Tumblr media
word count: <500
warnings: not proof read…i kinda raw dogged this :p no use of y/n
notes: omg first thing of writing on here…im an autobiographical writer, haven’t touched fanfic since i was like 10. with that being said if i proof read it i won’t have the guts to post it. there will be better writing on my blog i promise. also super late for valentine’s day but it rained when i love the day of and no other day of the week n i thought it was funny.
“You told me you checked the weather Tim.”
You had called your boyfriend to let him know that a picnic wasn’t going to work. As soon as you woke up, the noise of rain pattered on your apartment’s roof, hitting you with the reality that being outside wasn’t an option.
“I did! Today is the first time this month it’s rained! But uhhhh should we do the Mary’s?” He tried to remedy the situation with the Italian restaurant in your university neighborhood.
“We go there all the time, can we do something special since it’s Valentine’s Day baby?” You smiled into the phone receiver. You knew he melted into man pudding when you called him baby and used that tone.
“Oh uhh-“ evidence of your work, “Anything you want. Maybe the rink and then hot chocolate after?”
“It’s a date.” You smiled, perfect time to show Tim what he didn’t know about you on the ice.
❅ ❅ ❅
Tim came to pick you up, you made sure to put on a raincoat. Not only to protect yourself from getting soaked, but also to reveal your outfit to your boyfriend in the car.
“Oh look at you, expecting to get some laps in?” He joked at the expense of your lululemon attire
“I like my pink define jacket, thank you very much”
“Hey! I like it too, definitely…tight. Hugs the right pla-“ You slap him on the shoulder, “Ow! Do you even know how to skate babe?”
This was your moment. Should you lie and wow him? Or should you tell the truth and loose your novelty? You lie.
“No actually, you’ll have to teach me.”
“That’s great actually, then you can’t let go of me-“ he smiled like an idiot before you interrupted him
“Don’t push it”
“Yes ma’am”
❅ ❅ ❅
You try not to be suspicious. ‘Act like you’re nervous, get shaky the first few minutes-‘
“Hey babe, need help with your skates?” Tim is an angel. As much as he likes to talk dirty, he genuinely cares and you always know it.
“Oh uhm, yes please”
“No problem.” he got on his knees and laced your skates up, “They need to be super tight, but not so tight you can’t bend your knees beyond a certain point.” Nobody could wipe the smile he had off his face. He was just happy to be teaching his girlfriend how to skate on Valentine’s Day.
“Thank you Tim. I feel like Cinderella, only my shoe has a sharp blade on it and my prince charming doesn’t know how to check the weather.” You giggle at his expense
“Im sure I’m a much better prince charming than whatever that guy had going on. Now stand up and see if it’s comfortable.”
“Perfect! Oh! I mean uhhh-“ You can’t let the jig be up, “Ouch super tight but I’ll be okay!”
Tim looks at you funny, but thought nothing if it, “Alright let’s go.”
❅ ❅ ❅
You can’t even stand it. You’ve been pretending to be awful at skating for almost 30 minutes. The real truth? You were on a figure skating scholarship just like how Tim was on a hockey one. You’d been skating since middle school and it had become a sport you loved deeply. You and Tim had been together for eight months, but the topic never really came up due to you thinking there were far more important things to your character.
“Can I try by myself?” your posture was awful, but it as about to be perfect in about 5 seconds
“Remember what I taught you about falling on your butt and not your face?”
It took so much not to roll your eyes, “Ill try not to fall because you like both of those things about me. think I’m okay.”
“Great! Let’s see you do 5 feet ahead. Go at any pace you want.”
You nodded, kissing him on the cheek. You immediately shifted into better posture, stopped shaking , and started skating at the pace you wanted, like he said. You begin with fluid crossovers, transitioning into quick footwork. With a push, you launch into a simple jump, landing with precision. You could feel the air whipping past your face as you gained speed. Your body twists and turns effortlessly, soon you’re skating circles around your boyfriend, who couldn’t do anything but look at you in shock. You stop right next to him.
“Was that okay?”
“Was that okay?? What are you doing studying here! People get injured all the time at the olympics I’m sure you could fill in and it would make no difference” He laughed in complete shock, “How long have you been skating for?
“More than 10 years”
“We should definitely take this to my place. You’ve won my heart. Not that you didn’t before I just- let’s go babe.”
“No I’m actually having so much fun!”

Damian: why is there erotic homosexual poetry written in Arabic in the manor's library? Which one of you owns these?
Jason: not me I prefer slow burn romances. Preferably in English or Spanish.
Stephanie: I don't know arabic.
Cass: not me.
Duke: I also don't know Arabic.
Bruce: I'm not into poetry or homosexual.
Everyone: *side-eyes Bruce*
Bruce: what?
Stephanie: nothing.
Damian: it has to be Dick, then. My poor eyes. I was excited to see something in my tongue and now I am scarred for life.
Dick, walking into the room: what's happening?
Stephanie: Dami found gay Arabic poetry in the library.
Dick: what? Why would someone leave that in there where my innocent baby brother can see?
Cass: not innocent.
Jason: well who else knows Arabic?
Tim, coming in to refill his coffee: what's happening?
Duke: erotic poetry, that's in Arabic for some reason.
Tim, glancing over: oh... one of those is Farsi actually.
Damian: how do you know that? You didn't even read it.
Tim: I recognise the cover.
Duke: you recognise the cover??
Damian: so these are yours!
Tim: ...yeah?
Bruce: where on earth did you get these Tim??
Tim: they were a gift.
Cass: who?
Tim: ...uhhh, y'know actually I'm too tired to remember right now. *Runs*
Dick: wha-Tim!
Jason, completely deadpan: he's either seeing Talia or Ra's.
Damian: *gags* Todd how dare you propose that! How could you even be sure of that?
Jason: I slept with your mum, I'd know.
Everyone: WHAT!?

Memories & Delusions PART TWO!!
Tumblr media
PART ONE | PART TWO | PART THREE
SYNOPSIS: You know Jason is alive know, you aren’t sure how just yet and you aren’t how exactly you’re going to keep his cover and also still see him regularly. There’s still too many complications to deal with.
FANDOM: DC
PAIRING(S): Jason Todd x fem!reader
RATING: G
MENTIONED: Bruce Wayne, Dick Grayson, Tim Drake, Alfred Pennyworth, Barbara Gordon, Joker, Ra’s Al Ghul
GENRE/AU: Uhhh a little bit of fluff I guess. It’s pretty subtle on the romance, mostly plot following I guess. Nothing overly angsty. Mentions of being committed to Arkham (just a joking conversation) and Jason is trying it get over the Lazarus pit.
WORD COUNT: 4.4K
WARNINGS: swearing, slightly graphic descriptions of Jason’s murder from him. Not proof read
A/N: jjjajsjakkskskshdhshjsjsis brain
DEDICATIONS: my dumb hyperfixating brain for coming up with this concept at least three years ago. And putting it into words only recently.
CREDITS:
Tumblr media
“Why are you being so dodgy lately?” Dick asks skeptically, eyeing you up.
You shrug, trying to play it cool. Jason doesn’t want them to know yet so they won’t. “What do you mean?”
He narrows his eyes at you. “Last week you were losing your mind and now you’re just… fine.”
You take a deep breath in and sigh. “I guess I realized that I was being delusional. I was just missing Jason.” Dick is about to say something else but you wave him off. “I have to go to meet my friend, so I’m heading out.”
Your ‘friend’ was Jason.
You stop to look at yourself in the mirror by the door, toying with your hair and smoothing out wrinkles on your clothes.
Somewhere behind you, Dick mutters: “See, Bruce, she’s being Dodgy.” And Bruce hums in agreement.
You’re apparently not as convincing as you’d like to be.
…..
“How do you plan on breaking the new to Bruce?” You ask, fidgeting with your fingers while he goes through some stuff on his computer. He shrugs in response. You continue. “Or is it that you don’t want to tell him at all?”
Jason's eye twitches subtly, something that you’re surprised you catch. He shakes his head. “I don’t know, Y/n.” He pauses, chuckling dryly. “It’s not like he’d care much to know.”
You recoil. Is that really how Jason thinks Bruce feels about him?
All you can recall is Bruce kneeling in front of his grave, sobbing like you’d never seen an adult sob; or the way he would walk into Jason’s room and stand in the doorway with a forlorn look mocking his features.
You remember the way he’d stare for several minutes before sighing deeply and walking away; he’d usually proceed to lock himself in the batcave and would snap when anyone disturbed him.
“Jason…” you say reluctantly. “You don’t think that Bruce would care if you were alive?” Jason remains silent, so you continue, missing the way his fists clench. “Bruce was… heartbroken for months after your death— we all were.”
Jason stands abruptly. “And yet, none of you were willing to kill the man who brutally murdered me!” He snaps, his voice raised. You flinch a little but try to retain composure; bite your tongue when you have the urge to remind him about your goals when he first died. He continues with a strange expression on his face. “Do you know what it was like to feel a crowbar splitting my skull open while I was still alive?”
The thought makes you sick. Makes you so utterly devastated for what he’s been through. “No, Jason, I—”
He cuts you off by holding his hand up. “If Bruce was ever going to kill someone, it should’ve been Joker; and if he’d really loved me so much it should have been for me.” His tone is much calmer but there is still a chilling effect in his voice that makes your spine straighten.
The look behind his eyes is flurried with an internal battle you can almost see. “Jason, I shouldn’t have—”
“Just go.” He says, finally sitting back. He doesn’t bother looking up at you.
“What?” You stammer, your eyebrows furrowing in confusion.
“Just get out, Y/n.” He snaps once more and that’s all it takes for you to turn on your heels and walk out the door.
…..
You’d been moody and upset for the past three days— you knew you were. You were upset at Jason, upset that he had so much sway or your emotion, and even upset at yourself for bringing something up that obviously triggered him in some way.
Jason was complexities locked inside other complexities, and you were beginning to learn that; what was once simple and easy with him, was now difficult and anxiety-inducing:
You weren’t sure where you laid in his eyes now.
Were you still the same teenage girl in his mind, or, were you the grown version of the girl he liked that had betrayed him.
Did he see you the same way he saw Bruce and Dick? Or even Tim? Was he just holding on the bond you used to have despite his bitter feelings for you now?
And, what made him this way? You know he must have gone through a devastating trauma, but, how far did that really go?
What were the details that Bruce never told you, and just how gruesome were they for him to lock the knowledge away and not let anyone else know the details.
He told everyone that Jason had died, and he had died by the Joker’s hands; when you or Dick had pressed for more information, Bruce had simply told you it was ‘Brutal’ and ‘Something you should never have to know’
But Jason's little outburst must’ve only told the smallest of details about his horrible, horrible death. If that was just the beginning, you couldn’t even imagine the depths of Joker’s cruelty.
You’re brain won’t stop trying though, even as you sit at the kitchen’s bar with a soggy bowl of cereal. You’ve been sitting there for an hour, pushing the stuff around in the bowl but you haven’t actually taken a bite.
“I think we need to send you to Arkham.” Tim says from the other side of the island, breaking you from your Jason-induced trance. You know he’s joking, but you’re pretty Bruce is genuinely considering committing you for your behavior these past few weeks.
You’re more hot and cold than faulty thermostat. Hysterical, and then Happy, and then violently depressed and introspective.
“I do not need to be locked up with a bunch of criminals, Tim. Rehabilitation is clearly not actually happening at Arkham.” You say back, appreciating his giving you something to banter about.
He’s the only one that didn’t know Jason, and that makes him refreshing to be around.
“They aren’t stupid, Y/n.” Tim says, completely unrelated to your response. “Bruce knows you’re still losing it over Jason, you can act fine all you want but Red Hood clearly got into your head.”
You shrug. “If anyone knew him as intimately as I do— uh, did, they’d lose their mind too.” Your eyes drop to the bowl in front of you and scrunch your nose in disgust. You push it away from yourself.
Gross.
Tim shrugs back, because, what else can he really respond with? “I didn’t know him at all.” He pauses, looking out the kitchen's open door. “Wouldn't Bruce have known him as well as you did?”
You shake your head. “No, Tim, me and Jason were… different, I guess. I had a crush on him when we were teens.” You shift in your seat and instinctively reach for the pendant around your neck. “And Dick was doing his whole Titans thing at the time, so they weren’t as close.”
Your sadness subsides and that familiar warmth runs through you as you imagine yourself and Jason laying on the roof, reading your favorite scenes from the book and enjoying the cool summer air.
In the winter, you would go out with a few blankets and huddle extra close; eventually, when your hands would get to cold to read, it would end in the two of you huddling close for warmth (something that Jason had always produced a lot of) and staying there until Bruce would start calling for you.
Your lips twist into a soft smile.
Tim stares at you. “You need help.”
“Speak for yourself, Mr. Force Batman To Have Another Robin.”
….
A tapping at your bedroom window stirs you from the near-sleep state you had been in; your heart pounds as you shoot up and look towards the window. Your heart slows only a few beats per minute when you see a familiar red helmet through the window.
You stand up and unlock your window, letting Jason climb through one side of the double doors.
He sighs through his helmet as he goes to remove it; you hear the familiar series of click and whirs and then he places the helmet on a chair in your room.
“Nice Pajamas.” He says, in a playful sort of way. There’s a healthy dose of something else though, that you can’t quite place.
You look down at yourself. You’re wearing a very thin tank top and some comfy PJ shorts. Not exactly appropriate in front of other people.
“Uh, thanks?” You say as you grab a hoodie from beside your bed and throw it on.
Once you’ve covered up a bit more, you turn back to Jason. “Why are you here?”
He stares at you, his eyes traveling your body for a few moments before they meet yours. “I just wanted to apologize. For the other day.” He takes a step closer.
You cross your arms. “I want to know why.”
Jason cringes. “I snapped yesterday because I’m just not right in the head yet. I still lose control and say things I shouldn’t. My perception of things is so fucked up sometimes I can’t tell what’s real.”
You nod slowly. “But why, Jason? How are you alive, why is your brain messed up?”
He sighs deeply. “I did die.” He says simply, like that really explains anything. You wait for him continue. “I died, and Ra’s Al Ghul threw me in the Lazarus Pit because he owed a favour to Bruce.” The words are spoken so plainly but you understand the pain behind them. “I’m only alive because of a favour.” His tone is so downtrodden, devastated.
You’ve heard about the Lazarus Pit, how it could drive someone to madness— you guess that must’ve happened with Jason.
It was the theorized reason for Gotham’s problem, after all; or rather, theorized by Barbara Gorden.
You supposed that made sense. “My God, Jason, you’ve been through so much.”
Your heart aches for him, for all the things you should have prevented.
“I’m sorry, Y/n.”
“It’s okay.”
…..
The morning light shines brightly through your window, usually your curtains are drawn but there are quite a few unusual things about this morning.
First and most importantly, you have a suited up Jason, sleeping at your side; his arm is wrapped protectively around you.
He looks so beautiful when he’s sleeping; you’re not sure if he ever has restless sleep, but he seems so peaceful and at ease— relaxed, even. It’s nice to see his face unplagued by any of his troubles.
However, according to your clock, it’s almost the time when Alfred would come to wake you for breakfast, meaning Jason had to leave— and fast.
“Jason.” You say his name softly, nudging him awake. He stirs, and his eyes shoot open.
He looks panicked for a moment before your face processes in his mind, then he visibly calms down.
“I fell asleep.” He states, disentangling from you and laying into his back.
You hum, still looking at him. “Yes, you did.” The air is thick with some sort of easy tension, a fading smile, a far-off laugh— a general sense of mundanity that you want to keep forever. “But you have to leave now, if you don’t want anyone else to know your identity.”
“Right.” Jason gets up from the bed and stretches slowly, causing you to do the same.
He turns to grab his helmet— or rather, you see him stop, stare at it for a moment, and then spin back around.
Before you can process it, he’s caging you on your bed. Your eyes close as he closes the gap between the two of you, a swift movement that leaves you barely anytime to think.
When he pulls back, off the bed, and flashes you an easy smile, you think you very well might swoon like you were right out of a 60s television show.
Jason slips his helmet back on and closes it before unlatching the window and stepping out. “Bye, Y/n.”
“Bye.” You stare at the spot where he was standing for a while longer before laying back down in your bed.
…..
“Hey.” You say nonchalantly, coming up behind Bruce.
He’s working on the Batcomputer right now. “Hello.”
“What’cha Doing?” You scan the contents of the screen, and it just looks like feed from the Manor’s many cameras. You aren’t too worried about Jason being seen on them, because he always hacks the cameras and scrubs himself from the data.
“I’m just doing the weekly camera check, Y/n.” Bruce looks back at you momentarily, and then returns to the feeds.
You screw around behind him for a while before you hear a small hum. You look up at the camera, trying to see what has caught Bruce’s attention. The timestamp says it’s from a few nights ago.
You watch as he replays a specific moment.
He replays it a few more times before you finally see it. A familiar flash of red, and then a motorcycle driving away from the manor.
Worse, the flash of red comes from right outside your window.
Bruce enhances the footage and zooms in on what you’re sure is Jason.
“Red Hood was at the Manor three days ago.” He states, looking back at you. “He appears to be leaving your bedroom, did you know about this?”
You pause for a second but shake your head. “No, of course not, I was sleeping.” You pretend to shudder. “That’s creepy to think that he was in there while I was sleeping.”
Bruce eyes you suspiciously but doesn’t protest or question any further. “We’ll have to heighten security in your room. Red Hood obviously chose it for a reason.”
You freeze. “That’s not necessary, Bruce, he didn’t screw with anything, obviously.”
“Even if he isn’t intending to hurt any of us, Y/n, there are several very bad things that could happen as a result of his being able to get into our house. Not to mention, I’ve noticed several discrepancies in our camera feeds over the past month or so.” He gestures to another frame, showing what looks like normal footage, but it’s the same five minutes replaying, according to the timestamps. “If you watch carefully, every minute, on the dot, a bug flies in front of the camera. It’s the same bug and the same flight pattern. If that’s Red Hood’s patch job, he’s not very good at this.”
Your lips purse, and you chew on the inside of your cheek. “That is weird.” You can’t really say anything else without making yourself look suspicious. You’ll have to let Jason know before he thinks about coming around here again.
He goes back to the previous footage, of Jason at your door, and enhances it even more— your window is clear now, and the floor behind it. Bruce rewinds it to the moment that Jason reaches the window. He presses play again, and lets the video play slowly, analyzing Jason’s every movement.
You cringe when you see Jason knock on the window a few times, and you’re terrified for Bruce to see what you know is coming next.
“Bruce!” You blurt, just before you’re about to come into view. “Tim just texted me and said he needed you to come upstairs right now.”
Bruce turns to you, confused. “Did he say what about?”
You shake your head. “No, he just said it was urgent.”
Bruce nods and leaves you alone in the batcave. You have maybe ten minutes until he comes back, knowing that you lied.
You try to fiddle with footage and delete that part that incriminates you, but without Bruce’s password you can’t do that.
Fuck. You don’t know it.
You panic for a minute and then abandon your mission to delete the footage, instead you race upstairs and into your bedroom, throwing together a bag of clothes and other essentials, as well as some sentimental items.
You’re about to sneak out the window when you see the old worn book. You snatch it quickly, along with your phone and car keys.
Bruce’s voice comes from down the hallway, calling your name; it doesn’t matter, you don’t stop until you’re outside and in your car.
You know he’s watching as you speed off, tears welling as you disable the tracking devices in your phones and car. When Bruce finally watches that footage, he’s going to think you betrayed him and you’re going to lose the one place that you’d ever felt at home in.
You’ve never felt so low before.
…..
Tears fall pitifully from your cheeks; you really shouldn’t be this upset.
Jason watches uncomfortably from his chair in his office; you knew he never liked you crying, and he was never great at dealing with it.
All he ever needed to do was be there, though.
“Please stop crying.” He says gently, as he walks over to you. “What happened?”
You shrug, which makes no sense because you know exactly what happened. “I can’t go back to the manor.”
Jason scrunches in confusion and a hint of anger at the conclusions you know he’s jumping to. “What did he do?”
“Bruce didn’t do anything.” Wiping the tears from your eyes, you pull back from him. “He was going over security camera footage and found a camera you forgot to wipe… he hadn’t watched the full thing when I ran out of there but he’s watched it by now, I’m sure.”
“And that matters…why?” Jason obviously doesn’t understand what you’re implying.
You absentmindedly drum your fingers against your wrist. “I very clearly let you in the window in the footage. You didn’t break in, I let you in. Bruce knows that now too.”
“Oh.”
“Yeah.”
Jason looks around the office, like there’s something that would help on the walls. There isn’t. His eyes settle back into you, but you’re not looking at his face. “You can stay with me.”
He says it so easily, like it’s only natural— you suppose it is. Nothing had ever been more natural than being with him.
You also think you’d probably like that. “Do you live in this building or…?”
He laughs and then shakes his head. “No, I hijacked one of Bruce’s warehouses a long time ago and have been living there. We can go now, I’m done for today anyway.”
You step out into the hallway and he takes your hand in his; you think that he feels protective around his lackeys, because he doesn’t really like them. He would rather they all fell off the face of the earth, but he knows that won’t happen so he’d rather control where their product is being pushed.
Or that’s what he told you, anyways,
You go down a different set of corridors than you’re used to, and it leads to a garage.
The unsettlingly beautiful woman is standing at the door, she says nothing when Jason pushes the door open and leads you through.
It’s not her job to ask questions, you suppose.
“Do you want to take your car? You can follow me in mine so you know where we’re going?” He suggests, raising his eyebrows at you. “Or I can drive it over for you later and we can just use my car for now.”
“I don’t really feel like driving right now.”
He nods. “Okay.”
…..
“When you said warehouse, I was not expecting this.” You gape, looking around at his ‘apartment.’ “It looks more like a pent-house.”
He chuckles. “Yeah, well, that's kind of what it is.” Jason runs his finger along the surface of his counter. “I believe it was catalogued as a safe house and a warehouse.”
You shrug. “You wiped it from the system, so I wouldn’t know.”
There’s a sort of awkward reluctance dancing around the two of you, like you aren’t sure what to do with yourselves now that it’s just the two of you alone. You haven’t been truly alone with him in such a long time.
“I guess there’s not a whole lot to do here.” He starts again, looking around. “I’m not here much. I usually just end up passing out on the couch in my office.”
You laugh dryly and look around; the whole apartment looks clean and modernist— you personally can’t stand this type of decorating but you don’t think Jason cared much to change how the place had looked when he found it.
There’s a TV, which you’re pretty sure works but it’s gone unused. There is a short hallway with three doors down it right off the living area. It’s mostly open concept besides that small hallway. You lift your gaze upwards, following the tall in-wall bookshelves; you find that there’s a small loft above the two of you and a ladder that leads there.
“What’s up there?” You ask, walking over to the ladder.
Jason gestures up the ladder. “I’ll show you.”
The two do you climb the ladder and you pull yourself onto the loft, feeling a little unsteady.
You notice immediately that the roof looks a little strange just above the platform.
Jason clears his throat and walks over to one of the walls. He hovers in front of a small silver panel. “You know, there’s a reason I chose this one.” He presses a button on the panel while he looks over at you.
A few creaks sound and then some loud mechanical noises sound before the roof panels recede to reveal the setting sun. The sunset is so beautifully visible from the sunroof.
“Jason.” You breath, dumbfounded.
He picks a book off of the floor of the loft. “I used to try to recreate our moments on the roof, but it just wasn’t the same without you.” He flips the book a few times in hands. “And this wasn’t quite right either.”
“I couldn’t handle the rooftop without you.” You whisper, not sure if he even hears you; you try to speak a little louder. “The first time you showed up at the house was the first time I had done it in years.”
“Huh.” Jason responds, sounding nonchalant but you know it means something to him.
“Wait here.” You rush back down the ladder and grab your book, and then head back up. Jason stares at it for a while. You hold it up, and pass it to him. “For Old Times Sake?”
…..
You had sat there with him for hours that day, you watched as the day melted into night and felt as you slowly fell asleep. You and Jason were tangled together, cuddled so close it was like you had never really been apart in the first place.
At some point, you’re drifting in and out of consciousness. Your hands twitch gently and you adjust yourself a bit but you don’t open your eyes.
You’re pretty sureJason still thinks you're asleep because he presses a kiss to the top of your head and then quietly speaks. “I want to do this with you for the rest of our lives.” He pauses and sighs a loaded sigh. “Not just for Old Times Sake.”
You decide it’s probably better to just try to fall back asleep, despite the way your stomach churns. You wanted to respond, and tell him that you wanted to fall asleep like this every night.
Tell him that you wanted to spend every day with him too.
…..
“I just want to know where she is, Red Hood.” Bruce’s voice comes through a little speaker in Jason’s office— it’s a line that Jason had hacked into and clearly Bruce knew that.
Jason scowls and you can’t help but think about Bruce when he does.
When nobody responds to him, Bruce continues. “I want to talk to her.”
You gnaw your lips, wanting to pick it up and say you’ll talk to him but dreading confirming his suspicions.
Jason slips his helmet on and picks up the microphone. He presses the button and says, cooly, “Where would you want me to bring her, Batman?”
You can hear Bruce’s sigh of relief. “The abandoned warehouse near Arkham. You know which one I mean.”
Jason hums. “The one that Joker blew up last month.”
Bruce confirms and then Jason looks at me. “Anything you want to say?”
You shake your head, and Jason picks up the mic again. “Give us a time and we’ll be there.”
And just like that, you were going to see Bruce again.
Great.
…..
“I just don’t understand, Y/n.” Bruce says immediately when he lays eyes on you, despite the fact that he wraps you in a tight hug. “Why would you work with him?”
You pull back and look back to Jason, who’s all suited up, of course. “I—” you have no idea what to say in your defense. “I wasn’t working with him, Bruce.”
Bruce gives you a sort of ‘disappointed dad’ look. “I saw the footage, I know that you let him into the manor.”
“Well, yes, but—”
“So you were working with him.”
“No! It’s not like that!”
You’re starting to get irritated because you know Bruce has absolutely no reason to believe you.
“First, you lied about Tim needing me, and then you tried to delete the footage and then I saw you wildly speeding away from the manor. Do you understand how suspicious that looks? Obviously, you are working with him, Y/n. You don’t have to lie.” Bruce sounds sure of himself. It makes you want to tear your hair out.
“Fine. I was working with him, since you’re so sure.”
Bruce looks between you and Jason, and you can see realization dawn on his face. “Unless… don’t tell me you fell for him just because he reminds you of— Y/n, please tell me I'm wrong.”
Jason steps in this time. “Don’t worry, you’re wrong. Just not in the way you think you are.” Your head snaps back to look at him as clicks his helmet open and pulls it off.
This was the moment. He was finally showing Bruce.
You look frantically between the two of them, trying to decipher the moment.
Bruce stands frozen for a good long while, just staring at Jason’s face before he suddenly locks his arms around Jason's shoulder/neck and hugs him tighter than you’d ever seen Bruce hug anybody.
Jason looks thoroughly disturbed and taken aback. This wasn’t the reaction he was expecting, and honestly, it wasn’t what you were expecting either.
“I didn’t fall for him because he reminds me of Jason.” You say quietly. “I fell for him because he is Jason.”
Bruce pulls back and nods slowly before turning back to Jason. “I’m so sorry, Jason.”

Nurse Y/n
Media - The Artful Dodger Character - Doctor Jack Dawkins Couple - Jack X Reader Reader - Nurse Y/n Rating - Flirty Word Count - 1413
Tumblr media
I finished up work with a patient on the ward and I noticed Captain Gains arrived at the door, I tried not to let panic rise to my face given Fagin was upstairs in my room counting out the score from our last venture. But I did my best to merely act normal as he came through with his usual sit, cane and chipper smile.
"Mr Dawkins," he said,
"Doctor Dawkins," I corrected,
"A quiet word?"
"Trouble with the prostate?" I joked,
"If you could be so kind doctor," He glared,
"Yes course," I nodded,
He led me to the stock room where he sat his book and pen, "Do sit down, doctor."
I sat down trying not to look sheepish, and the more I did the more I wondered if it was actually possible. Silence sat between us for a moment and I felt as If I wanted to break it, "What uhh... what is this concerning?"
He didn't answer at first taking the time to fully extend his tongue from his mouth and lick the tip of his pen before he began his notes. "Nothing to worry about Doctor Dawkins, just a formality during our investigation,"
"What investigation?" I asked,
"I am sure you have heard about these... dreadful atrocities in port victory."
I relaxed a little, "Yes, of course. Been the talk of the town," I nodded, "Wretched, horrendous, accidents."
"Apparently not." he said, "After much investigation, we have determined these... atrocities were not accidents,"
"Not- not accidents?"
"No, we have determined in our investigation... that these were not accidents,"
"Ohh goodness..."
"And we have determined they are likely the work... of a serial killer."
"oh... I see..." I nodded, "What... does that have to do with... our conversation today?"
"It is very obvious the body's damage was caused by someone with... medical knowledge."
"Are you implying-"
"I am not implying anything doctor Dawkins," he said, "Merely asking questions,"
"Yes.. of course,"
"You wouldn't happen to have noticed any medical equipment going missing of late?"
"No, no, nothing of note."
"I see... you and Doctor Sneed are our two residents? there isn't another doctor lingering about?"
"No, Myself, Doctor Sneed and Prof. That's all," I explained,
"I see," He made a note, "Have you noticed any other changes in staff?"
"Ohh uhhh a couple of nurses retired last month and we brought in replacements,"
"Well, nothing to worry about there then. Would you be able to tell me where you were on the evening of the 17th?"
"Here." I answered, "Caring for my patients," I lied even though I was defiantly not here, I think on the 17th I was either down the cat and bagpipes stealing Darius' watch or possibly across town stealing Mrs Asterlynn's diamond necklace,
"Yes... and various nurses and patients could collaborate on that,"
"Uhhh..." I scrambled, "Unfortunately the patients from then have all passed on,"
"Pity, your nurses then?" he asked, "I'm sure one of your nurses would be able to confirm your presence that evening,"
"Hetty, my head nurse would yes." I nodded hoping to god he wouldn't call my bluff because she was currently mad at me and I got the feeling she was at the right level of throwing me under the carriage mad,
"I see... you're head nurse," He chuckled, "any others know you were here?"
"...ughhh... Yes." I lied, "The uhhh the new nurse." I said, as it suddenly hit me that the new nurse who works down in the morgue with Tim, the little one, always has pigtails, she had a day off on the 17th so she wouldn't know I wasn't here, "yes, the new nurse, she was at my side helping me all night, I was showing her the hospital and such,"
"I see, you don't mind I ask her of course. For the records."
"...No, no of course not," I lied,
"Good take me to her then," He said as he got up,
I nodded and led him down the corridor trying to think of what the hell I was gonna do, why did I say that, why didn't I have a plan, what nurse could stand me enough not to get me hung, I couldn't ask hetty she's mad, and I already called her my head nurse so he's met her before... I saw the new nurse, the one who had the day so coming up from the morgue in her usual nurse's dress, with her hair in sweet pigtail braids, well I hope to god she plays along. "Nurse," I spoke up as I don't know her name yet...
She stopped and seemed puzzled as to why I was talking to her, "Yes Doctor Dawkins?"
"Captain Gaines just wanted a word with you," I said, "About the 17th, when we were working... on the ward... together... all night..."
She looked at Captain Gaines and then at me for a second seeming confused, "I'm sorry the 17th?"
"Yes, you know nurse when you and I were working on the ward together all night, and I showed you around, we cared for patients, did some paperwork..." I lied giving her a rather pleading look almost begging her to play along,
"Oh, yes the 17th. of course." She nodded and I relaxed, "Yes of course what did you wish to ask me about Captain?"
"You can confirm Doctor Dawkins was here in the hospital that night?"
She glanced at me and we shared a look, "Yes I can,"
"Really?"
"Yes Captain I swear on my life," she said putting her hand to her chest, "Doctor Dawkins was ever so kind to me, I only just started and he took the time that evening to give me a tour and run me through some procedures. Letting me shadow him for the evening,"
"And he didn't leave your sight all evening?"
"No Captain, we worked on the patients together until dawn," She smiled,
"Yes we did, yes... never left my sight did you?" I asked,
"No, absolutely not," She smiled,
"And would there be other nurses that could confirm this?" He asked,
Ohh shit- "Ughhh well..."
"Well unfortunately," she said, "Most of our lovely nurses had already taken to bed given such a busy day, the few who were still working, I am sorry Captain but we were so busy popping around the hospital we don't recall any names of nurses still awake and I doubt they would remember us was given how short a time we were in one place,"
"Right," he made his notes,
Hum... damn she's good, I glanced over at her and she gave me an innocent little smile,
"I see, it's interesting who you two were working all evening, together, and yet not a single other nurse or patient can confirm such information,"
"Well, admittedly a lot of our work was... down in the morgue." I lied,
"Yes, down in the morgue popping up for other business of course," she smiled,
"So you were alone, in the morgue together?" he asked,
"Yes..." I nodded,
"And what work were you doing, exactly? For the records?"
"I believe that is our business Captain," she smiled her hands slipping around my arm,
I looked down at her a little confused about what she was doing but as she laid her head on my shoulder it clicked... oohhh... she's going that angle with it... smart. Certainly explains us being alone together.
"I see. Thank you. Any other questions I'll be sure to ask," He nodded folding up his notebook and heading away,
As soon as he was gone I let out a sigh, "Thank you, nurse,"
"You're welcome," she smiled, "Figured you were in a spot of bother,"
"Yeah think I was for a second..." I sighed,
"What did he want?"
"I think... he thinks I have something to do with the deaths in town,"
"I see... do you?"
"No! Of course not!" I protested, "I was just out doing... other business,"
"Understandable then," she nodded,
"What about you?"
"Humm?"
"You were gone then?"
"I was,"
"Do you... have anything to do with his?"
"Doctor Dawkins how are you insinuating such a thing," she faked protested, "No no, I had... other business too,"
"I see," I nodded, "You uhh you don't have to hold my arm anymore you know,"
"I know," she shrugged, "you're kinda comfy,"
"ohhh ughh thanks," I blushed a little, "you uhhh you're... kinda cute."
"Thank you," she giggled, "Well if you need a cover story again, you know where to find me, Doctor Dawkins," she smiled as she tapped my arm and headed off down the hall,
"Ughh yeah, wait! Ughh what's your name again?"
"Y/n!" She yelled back before turning the corner,
"Hu... Nurse Y/n," I smiled a little before I headed up to my room.

Tim gets hit by a huGE dose of cuddle pollen Ivy made, but she modified it to make the victim more...loopy, or lower their inhibitions. It basically makes them not give a shit and do what they ACTUALLY want, but the fluff version.
So since Tim deep, deep, deeeeeep down is a huge fuckin sap. (You can never, ever take away this headcanon from me.)
He pounces on someone (read: Duke) the second he wakes up in the medbay. And since the batfam doesn't know that Tim isn't a corny ass sap, they think it's the pollen doing it, but nope, Timmy is just very touch-starved and wants to share his affection.
THE CASE OF DUKE THOMAS:
Duke gets pounced on first (he's Tim's favorite) and gets a clingy leech whose arms and legs are wrapped around his body very tightly and is also nuzzling the crook of his neck.
He's also trying very hard to control the blush on his face when Tim praises him, whether it be from training, school, or his personal achievements. Even if Tim constantly praises him when he wasn't dosed, he still couldn't get used to the sheer support.
The boy just huffs and carries Tim like a teddy bear, and the others are just watching silently at the display. (Dick seething in the bg but lets ignore that–)
THE CASE OF CASSANDRA CAIN:
Cass is the second, she doesn't dodge as Tim pounces on her back, his arms tucked around her head and legs wrapped around her neck.
Tim tells her how he's so glad that he's her sister and how he loves her very much, and would actually commit genocide for her—
And Cass just smiles cutely and pats him on the thigh, and continues to walk to the library, with Tim still on her shoulders, who is still complimenting and praising Cass, and also still wanting to commit war crimes for her.
THE CASE OF JASON TODD:
The third one is Jason, it's a slow night, nothing's really happening, just some regular drug busts, gang fights, and burglars, but other than that, everything's just very relaxed. Well, as relaxed as Gotham can get.
It's during this patrol when Tim slowly comes up beside him and intertwines their hands together, careful and gentle, because he knows Jason is still kind of uncomfortable to touch, not so much now, but it's still there, but he's working on it bit by bit.
Of course, Jason knows Tim knows about his fear of touch, I mean he'd be pretty surprised if he didn't, but he doesn't mind that Tim doesn't force Jason to hug or cuddle him vigorously, but does it in a subtler, gentle way.
Jason huffs and squeezes Tim's hand as thanks. Tim grins and squeezes back. They share a comfortable silence as they walk to a nearby cafe.
THE CASE OF STEPHANIE BROWN:
The fourth is Stephanie, and since they're exes-turned-to-best friends, and very cuddly, she wasn't that surprised but was more excited that this Tim doesn't hold back on the mushiness of it all.
They have a competition to see who can call the other the most cringiest, corny names that they can think of.
(Spoiler: (haha spoiler) Steph's in the lead)
The fact that Tim was hit by the pollen didn't change anything drastic to their dynamic, it sort of just, well, evolved it, they're still the cuddliest of buddies. And if they get more cringier and exhausting to the rest of the batfam? Well, it's their problem now.
THE CASE OF DICK GRAYSON:
The fifth is Dick, who is still very bitter that Tim didn't hug him first-
("But...bUT I WAS HIS BIG BROTHER FIRST– WHAT DO YOU HAVE THAT I DON'T?!–"
"Uhhh...respecting his boundaries? being normal and not overbearing or being allergic to emotions? just being a friend to him in general to be honest-"
"..." )
And was also very relieved that he wasn't seriously hurt.
He's at the living room watching some random Rom-Com when Tim appears and stands closely to the couch Dick was on, curious about the movie as well.
Dick doesn't get a chance to say anything until something hits his chest. And when he looked down to see what it was, he almost cried from joy.
Tim was hugging him!! He was hugging him!! HA TAKE THAT DUKE–
Dick adjusted their position so that they're more comfortable, Tim's legs were on his thighs and his head was leaning on his shoulder.
Tim didn't really seem to mind as he was manhandled, but squirmed a little bit when Dick hugged him too hard.
Dick's just happy to see his little brother showing affection first!! He's come a long way. He says dramatically as he wipes a fake tear out of his eye.
THE CASE OF DAMIAN WAYNE:
The Sixth one is Damian, he was unnerved to see Tim being openly affectionate to the family, as he was used to seeing him being sarcastic and reserved, but not this... Grayson 2.0 clone.
(and also because he's a little, a tiny, bit offended that he wasn't the one who he hugged and looked for first. I mean, hello, Timothy? I am the youngest?? We trauma bonded?? I cradled you in my arms?? I'm Robin???)
But he was forced to accept this new Timothy. This new Timothy who gave him head pats for a good job, who scooped him in his arms in the morning when he's too tired to notice everything, who sets him on his lap and watches Animal Documentaries when he feels like Damian is too angry or is having a tantrum.
This new Timothy treated him like how he would treat his own little brother. He doesn't force him to do something he doesn't want unless it's absolutely needed. Respects his personal space when Damian was not in the mood but shows how he cares about him in other ways.
And, and. . . .this Tim was just affected by the pollen. It was not real, he was just forced to do this because of some stupid, meaningless, pollen. He doesn't really love Damian, he's just hallucinating.
But Damian doesn't push Tim off of him when he carries him up the stairs like a toddler.
Or when he praises him on how much he grew as a person, how much he learned, how he's so glad that he's with them now and comfortable in his own home, how kind he is to animals, or when he softly leans down and kisses his forehead good night.
Maybe tomorrow. Damian thinks, as Tims soft voice sends him to sleep.
THE CASE OF BRUCE WAYNE:
The seventh, is obviously, Bruce.
He wasn't a perfect parent, that much he can say at least. He was a broken man, who couldn't deal with his emotions properly.
It's getting better now though, as he's been seeing Dinah Lance twice a month. It's not going to be easy to change things that have been engraved in his heart for a long time.
But if it's for his kids? Bruce would do it in a heartbeat.
Tim walks over to where Bruce is, perched over the Bat Computer, looking at evidence of another human trafficking ring that had yet to be found.
He can see Bruce's shoulders stiffen, his expression carefully blank, but his hands were gripping the console too hard.
Bruce hears Tim approaching him from behind. His brilliant, intelligent, and lovable Tim. He doesn't deserve him, hell, he doesn't deserve any of his children
He feels like he failed them, and he had yet to apologize to all of them, some more than others, but he's working on it together with Dinah.
He's shocked when he feels Tim hug him from behind, nuzzling his head into his back. Bruce, still unmoving decided to turn his head to look at Tim, who was drowsy as he just woke up from a nap and wanted to find Bruce. (His son, his beautiful, capable, strong son.)
"Tim? You should go to your room if you're still tired—"
"You'reee. . . doing your besttttt, Bruceee...I'm proud of youuu...!"
Tim keeps on complimenting him, and god does the guilt fucking eat him alive
Bruce is shaking, Tim can feel it, but he was so sleepy, so he has to say this before he has to go upstairs to his room and fall asleep.
"I love you."
And Tim passes out, his hands loosely falling from Bruce's waist, but he catches him just in time before he hits the floor.
Bruce picks him up in a bridal carry and leaves the Bat Cave. He stays silent for most of the trip until he arrives at Tim's room and tucks him into bed.
A lone tear slid down his face as he cupped Tim's cheek into his much, much bigger hands. Looking at his son with pure adoration.
"I love you too."
He kisses his forehead before he leaves the room and turns off the light. Wondering why his throat feels likes there's a lump inside of it all of a sudden.
----
THE CASE OF THE SIRENS:
When they finally get to Ivy, she just laughs at them, cackling even.
"You idiots! That pollen was to just make someone show how they really feel, the nicer kind, I mean."
She rests her chin on top of her hand.
"It was supposed to be a prototype but hey, at least we know it works now."
Ivy looks at them and their glares bore holes into her skull, too bad she doesn't care.
"It takes their nicest qualities and times them to a ten. So Tim?"
She points at Red Robin who's busy hugging Harvey and is being cooed at by Catwoman.
"Is just a soft guy at heart, it wasn't forced or something, the pollen just helped him amp up his confidence and makes him do what he always, truly, wanted."
Ivy turns her back on them and goes over to Harley and Catwoman, and Tim beams at her, Ivy gives a soft smile and pats his head.
THE CASE OF THE BATFAM:
Meanwhile...
"WHAT?!–"
"Oh, so you guys didn't know Tim was a huge sap?"
"NO??? HOW WERE WE SUPPOSED TO KNOW!!???"
"Being a normal person man, it gets you anywhere."
"Babybird's soft as fuck, and also very cuddly, you guys just don't have the privilege to hear or see it like normal lol."
"Todd, you have five seconds until I dismember you–"
"Oh please Dami, you're just embarrassed!"
"Very true. His ears are turning very red."
"I AM NOT BLUSHING! SHUT UP!"
Bruce is just there in the middle, staring out at nothing, the only thing on his mind is just Tim saying I love you to him, echoing every 5 seconds.
Tim is just on cloud nine, happy.
Loopy, but still very happy.

AAAAAAAAAHHHHHH “Let me ride you.” for... jaycass :"O
ahhh thank you so much for the prompt <3
so, initially i wasn't sure what to do for this one, but then yesterday, i read a post from @deepwithintheabyss, and, uh. well. later that night i wrote the first 300 words for this <3
it ended up being jaytimcass instead of just jaycass, and uhhh. somehow it spiraled into a little over 4k of... pure smut. featuring: established jaytim with dom tim and sub jay having a threesome with dom cass <3
oh, and a tiny bit of incest, because in one line tim does call cass his sister<3
same day edit: some rephrasing, sentence restructures, and some clarifications added in certain spots. nothing major has changed, though, so if you've read it already you don't need to reread <3

Tim and Cass (and to a lesser extent, Steph) share everything. That’s just a fact. Clothes, safe houses, gear, food, showers, toothbrushes—
—and sexual partners.
Albeit, Jason’s more than that to Tim. Tim loves him, wholeheartedly, which—everything he’s ever seen and read says that should mean he wants to keep Jason all to himself.
And he does. Mostly. With one little exception.
Tim loves him, adores him, and that means… he wants desperately to share him with Cass. Not all the time, or even frequently, but. She’s such a part of him that it feels only natural for her to share in this too, even if it’s only once.
Which is the only reason he brings it up to Jason at all.
Jason’s response is a quick and emphatic no. Tim doesn’t pout or plead—he takes the rejection gracefully, kissing his cheek and reassuring him that no is a complete sentence, and if he’s not comfortable, that’s okay. Tim still loves him, he’s not upset.(Maybe, privately, a bit disappointed, but he knows better than to say that.)
He’s pretty sure that’s the end of it.
Until Jason brings it up again, later. The image, the thought, hasn’t left his mind, and… tentatively, he’s willing to try it.
Which brings them to now. Here. In Tim’s bedroom, the lights low, the three of them stripped to their underwear. Cass hangs back for now, perched to the side, watching.
Tim straddles Jason’s thighs. It splays his legs wide open, the kind of stretch that might burn a little if he wasn’t as flexible as he is. He’s got both hands buried in Jason’s hair, tipping his head back so he can kiss him hard and deep—fucking his mouth with his tongue.
Jason moans under him, hands resting on Tim’s hips. Spit smears around their mouths, dripping down their chins. It’s wet and messy and good, especially with how lax Jason’s mouth is. If Tim’s own tongue wasn’t in the way, he’s sure Jason’s would be hanging out like a dog.
God.
He’s so good. Part of Tim wants to glance over at Cass, ask with his eyes, Do you see this? Do you see how beautiful he is for me? But he doesn’t, because right now, this is about Jason.
About getting him comfortable and aroused and ready for Cass to join them.
He plunges his tongue as far in Jason’s mouth as it’ll go, straining his frenulum  in the process. It’s worth it for the noise Jason makes; for the flex of Jason hands on his hips. Fuck. Tim loves how strong he is, how easily he could manhandle him if he really wanted to.
How he doesn’t, because he wants Tim to manhandle him instead. (And Tim does, and can, because he may be small, but he’s strong.) He wants to be good. And that—
It’s heady.
He tugs Jason’s hair with one hand, drawing a delicious noise from him. His other hand slips down, gliding over Jason’s neck, shoulder, to grip at his bicep. The muscle is pliant under his hands; squishing easily when he kneads at it. Under the fat and lose muscle, though… Solid as rock. That makes Tim moan, licking into Jason’s mouth one more time before pulling back.
The lack of air is making him dizzy.
Jason, too, he thinks, judging by the way he blinks blearily at Tim, sucking in a deep lungful of air like he’d forgotten he was supposed to be breathing. It’s cute. Cuter still is the high noise Jason makes when Tim attacks his neck with lips and teeth and tongue. He refreshes old, faded markings before moving down, down.
He slides his other hand from Jason’s hair now—down his neck, over his shoulder and down to his collarbone, where it’s joined by the other. He cups Jason’s pecs in his hands. They fit in his palms almost like tits, fat and relaxed muscle plush and soft as he kneads with his fingers.
Jason’s moan is high and sweet.
It gets higher, sweeter, when Tim wraps his mouth around a nipple.
He usually likes to start slow. Soft. But he knows Cass’s mood tonight is neither of those things. Patient as she’s being, there’s an antsiness in her. Tim had offered to reschedule, but…
He’d known by the look in her eye what his sister wanted. He also knew that Jason was more than capable of rising to the occasion, regardless of how Tim chose to prep him. Still. Tim was going to get him used to it now, starting by sucking hard on his nipple… and following that with a scrape of his teeth.
Jason shudders, his skin pebbling with bumps, a sweet little whimper in his voice.
He hears Cass shift. Chances a quick glance over at her, and nearly smiles at what he sees, the way her gaze has gotten more intense. More interested. He can’t blame her. Jason really does make such lovely sounds.
It motivates Tim to draw more from him. He plays with Jason’s nipples until the man is shying under his touch—then, he leaves a ring of bruises around his pecs, loving the way he squirms.
Tim can feel Jason’s hips working. Small, minute shifts, seeking friction. His cock strains at his briefs—tight, black, with a little bit of red lace trim. Tim presses the heel of his palm against it, letting Jason grind on it.
It makes him pant, open mouthed, body trembling with each breath. When Tim takes his hand away, he whimpers again, looking at him with wide, pleading eyes. A glossy sheen of tears coats them, starting to gather in the corners.
Adorable.
Tim kisses his nose, and shoves at his shoulders. Jason goes, falling back into the bed willingly. He looks up at Tim with the sweetest expression—needy and wanting and so so adoring. Tim loves him.
Jason lifts his hips obediently when Tim hooks his fingers in the waistband of his briefs. They look so good on him it’s almost a shame to take them off, but. Tim knows for a fact what’s underneath is far prettier. He tugs them down his legs and tosses them toward the hamper.
Tim skims his fingers up the underside of Jason’s cock, watching the way he shudders; bumps pebbling on his skin. The flesh of him is hot under Tim’s fingers—precome saturates the head, drooling down the shaft. Tim swipes his finger through it, and sticks it in his mouth, ignoring the needy whimper Jason makes, instead humming, pleased, at the feeling of salt on his tongue.
“Grip the headboard, Jay— Good boy. Knees up for me, yes, just like that, that’s beautiful.” Tim reaches—Cass hands him the pillow he was looking for, and he thanks her with a brief smile. Jason blinks at her, like he’d forgotten she was here—and then smiles, shyly.
Cass smiles back, ghosting her fingers over the underside of his thigh. Jason shivers, arms twitching. Before Tim can ask, he’s raising his hips, letting Tim slip the pillow under them.
Cass hands him the lube next.
Tim cups Jason’s balls. Lifts them to expose his perineum, and drizzles lube over it, letting it dribble down to Jason’s hole. Jason flinches, keens. The headboard creaks under his grip, his hands twisting around it.
He stays where he was put, though, even as tears trickle down his temples. Cass hums, pressing up against Tim’s back, stroking over Jason’s calf as she hooks her chin over Tim’s shoulder.
Tim rolls his balls in his palm in reward—Jason shudders, head tipping back with a soft moan. Then Tim lets them go so he can slick up two of his fingers. He circles them around Jason’s rim, massaging the muscle. The muscles in Jason’s thighs twitch as they quiver. His belly jumps.
Tim pushes in with his index finger; just to the first knuckle. He keeps rubbing his rim with forefinger, biting back a smile as Jason fights to stay still. His cock drools, dripping onto his abdomen. Cass pets over Tim’s belly, humming as she watches. Her other hand is still tracing patterns over Jason’s calf.
He pushes in to the second knuckle, rubbing at Jason’s walls. Jason is hot around him, his passage silken. He pumps his finger once, twice—then withdraws. Jason whimpers, though it cuts off sharply when Tim plunges back in with both fingers, to the second knuckle. Jason clenches around him, wiggling his hips, a needy, plaintive sound in his throat.
Tim works his fingers, quickly working his fingers in to the third knuckle. Jason’s passage spasms around him, as if he can milk his fingers.
“Needy,” Cass says.
Tim hums in agreement, and Jason whines, pouting at them both. The pout drops off his face when Tim crooks his fingers, rubbing over his prostate. Jason’s lashes flutter, mouth open in an O, more tears rolling down his face as he whimpers. His hips twitch a little, like he can ride Tim’s fingers.
The angle’s not good enough, though, and he’s forced to simply take what Tim gives him.
When Tim adds a third finger, Jason keens again, bucking, hands straining against the headboard. He can feel Cass’s breathing deepen, feel the way her hand presses down on his belly, the way she presses closer against his back.
“Taking me so well,” Tim croons as he stretches Jason open. He tears his eyes away from Jason’s face to watch his hole, the way it swallows Tim’s fingers. Such a pretty sight. He hums to himself.
Tim keeps teasing him, massaging his prostate, stretching his walls, until Jason is sniffling, crying, sweet, desperate sounds falling from his mouth. Then, Tim takes pity. Cass slicks up the plug Tim had set out, passing it to him when it’s ready. Tim withdraws his fingers. Jason doesn’t even have time to whine before Tim is rubbing the base of the plug against his hole.
It’s a little thicker than even three of Tim’s fingers—he watches Jason’s hole stretch to accommodate it, enjoys the way he strains, arching up off the bed, sweet little cries leaving him.
Tim rocks it until he’s sure it’s nestled right against his prostate. Then he pats Jason’s thigh. “Good boy,” he praises.
Jason sniffles at him, widening his eyes, pleading silently.
Cass laughs sweetly in Tim’s ear.
“Not yet." His cock throbs at the way Jason’s face drops. He holds his hand out automatically, accepting the final toy from Cass—a cock ring.
Jason whimpers at the sight of it, but he doesn’t put up a fuss when Tim works it over him, fixing it to the base of Jason's cock. He kisses the tip, precome smearing on his lips, and pets Jason’s flanks.
“Alright, sweetheart,” he says. “You just relax for me. Deep breaths—just like that, very good. Keep your hands on the headboard for me.” He cards his fingers through the hair on Jason’s belly a few times, watching as Jason does what he’s told, eyes fluttering shut.
When some of the tension has eased from his shoulders, Tim moves, sliding up to sit next to Jason’s head, leaning back against the headboard. Cass crawls after him, her movements graceful and languid like a predator. Jason, eyes open again, watches her with wide eyes. She straddles Tim’s thighs and twins her arms around his neck, toying with the short hairs at his nape, making him shiver minutely. Tim cups her hips, stroking his thumbs over the v leading to her groin.
“Hi,” he murmurs.
“Hi,” she echoes, mouth twitching. The light in her eyes is dancing with amusement and anticipation. Tim tips his head back as Cass kisses him; mouths moving in perfect sync, tongues slipping and sliding together wetly, neither of them taking more from the other than they’re given. Push and pull—back and forth. A dance Tim thinks both of them were born knowing the steps to.
The headboard creaks. Jason whines pleadingly.
They ignore him.
Tim’s hands smooth up Cass’s rib cage, counting each bone under her skin before palming her breasts. He knows Cass doesn’t usually wear a bra—that the lacy thing cupping them is for their benefit alone. He plays with her nipples through the fabric, enjoying the way she rolls her hips against him in return.
When she nips his tongue, he goes for the band, unhooking it with practiced ease. Cass shrugs it off, tossing it carelessly over her shoulder.
The headboard creaks again as Jason makes a soft, plaintive sound. Tim smiles into Cass’s mouth before she breaks the kiss. This time, it’s her turn. She pays only a little attention to his chest—pinching his nipples until he squirms. Then she focuses on other things, spaces of his body that Tim had never known were sensitive until she found them. His side, his stomach, even spots on his back. Cass works them all while Tim holds onto her hips and moans.
It drives Jason crazy beside them. Tim can hear him squirming. Hear the sweet, needy sounds he makes. Can picture the way tears fall on his cheeks. It would be so easy for him to look over, to see it for himself, but.
Ignoring him while they put on a show will drive him that much crazier. And Tim loves to drive Jason crazy.
Tim’s turn again. He kisses Cass’s neck, using far less teeth than he had on Jason and leaving no marks. His hands roam her body, mapping out the places that make her squirm, make her breathing hitch, make her even moan. It’s always a treat, getting a sound from Cass. She’s so silent. (Tim likes that too, though: reading her pleasure from breath and expression alone.)
They don’t stop until both of them are leaking through their underwear; damp spots where their arousal pools the thickest.
Tim discards his—Cass does the same above him, both of them tossing them carelessly. He turns to Jason again, finally, finding him watching them. He’s just as Tim pictured; face rosy red, tears glistening in his eyes and on his cheeks, hands twisting around the headboard, grip white-knuckled. A pearly pool of precome glitters on his stomach.
Tim strokes his cheek with his knuckles, stopping to cup his jaw, thumb catching over his full bottom lip. Jason’s lips wrap around the tip, suckling., looking up at Tim with wide, pleading eyes.
Tim smiles at him. “Good boy,” he praises. “Being so patient, keeping your hands where I told you… Do you think you can keep being good for me?”
Jason nods, immediately, curls falling into his eyes.
Tim brushes them back to plant a kiss on his forehead. “Of course you can,” he croons. He takes a condom off the bedside table, sitting up. He works his hand over Jason’s cock, gentle, making sure it’s thoroughly coated in pre before he rolls it on. He can hear the way Jason’s breath hitches in anticipation. “You’re gonna stay nice and still, and let her ride you, aren’t you?”
Jason’s breath hitches, and he nods again; quick, sharp jerks. “Yes. Please. Pleasepleaseplease.”
Tim strokes his face, fingertips skimming over his jaw. He looks over at Cass, nodding, giving her the go ahead.
She’s all languid limbs when she climbs over Jason, settling onto his thighs. Tim lies on his side, ignoring his own erection in favor of propping his head up with one hand, and trailing the other over Jason’s chest, twirling his fingertips through the wiry curls.
Cass wraps her hand around Jason’s cock—looking pale and small against his cock. The contrast makes his fingers itch for a camera. She rubs the tip through her folds, eyes heavy-lidded, mouth parted.
The headboard jerks under Jason’s grip, knocking against the wall. Tim kisses his jaw. Cass teases Jason for a moment more—Tim can see her eyes glittering under her lashes, the twitch at her mouth that shows just how much she’s enjoying the sounds Jason makes.
And then…
Cass slams down, taking Jason to the root with a single thrust.
He shouts—Tim is half worried the headboard is going to snap under his hands. It doesn’t. Instead, it slams back against the wall again; a loud sound that makes him glad he doesn’t have neighbors. Jason’s chest heaves, his arms shake.
Cass sets a hard, brutal pace. Tim can barely hear her soft grunts under Jason’s cries. She switches back and forth between riding him and grinding on him, rubbing her clit against him. Fat tears roll down Jason’s face; his skin is flushed from head to chest. His tongue lolls out of his mouth—Tim can’t resist plunging two fingers between his lips.
He’s rewarded by Jason sucking; cheeks hollowing, swallowing around them. Tim pets his tongue idly, turning back to watch Cass.
He can tell the moment she comes—clamping tight around Jason’s cock, her movements stilling. Jason lets out a strangled cry, teeth grazing over Tim's skin. Cass's head tips back, chest thrust forward. She still looks so composed; only a slight flush on her skin; the barest sheen of sweat.
She isn't still for long. Bending backwards, reaching for the remote at the foot of the bed. Jason’s brow furrows in confusion at the sight of it—until she presses the button, and the plug in his ass buzzes to life. Jason’s breath hitches. He whines needily around Tim’s fingers. He pumps them, fucking Jason’s mouth properly, watching the way his eyelids droop. He pants, breath hot and humid.
Tim brushes his mouth against Jason’s ear. “Such a good boy, letting her use you like this,” he whispers. “Letting her use that pretty cock of yours to make herself come. A sweet little toy for her.”
Jason moans around his fingers, shivering, looking up at Tim through his lashes. His sucks turn more insistent, and Tim chuckles. “Do you need something more in your mouth, baby?”
Jason whines, nodding. Tim drags himself back up, moving until Jason’s head and shoulders are pillowed on his legs. He takes his fingers, wiping them on Jason’s cheek. He feeds Jason his cock.
Tim will never tire of Jason’s mouth. His body is a furnace, running a few degrees hotter than everyone else’s. He feels molten and soft around Tim’s flesh, and when he sucks—
Stars dance in Tim’s eyes.
He pets Jason’s face, deepening his breaths to try and keep them even. Jason moans, whines, cries around Tim’s cock—but he never, ever stops sucking and licking, doing his best to bob his head, and staring up at Tim, hazy-eyed and adoring. He soaks up ever stroke of Tim's hand like he's starving for it.
If Tim was even a fraction less horny it would make his heart ache. As it is—he just gets harder, belly tight and hot.
He's nearly undone when Cass comes again—Jason's mouth tightening around him, moaning long and low, the sound vibrating around his cock.
Tim reaches out with his other hand—Cass takes it, tangling their fingers together. She’s showing signs of exertion now, sweat glittering and glistening on her skin. As beautiful now as she is on stage, arms raised in a perfect pirouette.
She squeezes Tim’s hand.
Tim squeezes back. He taps Jason’s cheek with the other, getting his attention. “You’re going to make Cass come one more time, baby,” he says. “And then you get a reward, alright?”
Jason hums, blinking slowly up at him in acknowledgement. His lashes are clumped with tears, eyes rimmed with red. Tim strokes a finger down the line of his nose, over his bulging cheek.
Cass’s pace is slower this time—her hips rolling. Her breaths quicken, quiet moans tumbling from her mouth. The movements of Jason’s mouth grow clumsier; too focused on Cass. Tim doesn’t mind. He is too.
When Cass’s stomach starts to tighten, the muscles flexing, showing off her abs, Tim lets go of her hand, rising up a little to pull her into a kiss over Jason’s head. He hears, feels, Jason groans—the vibrations make him moan. A particularly hard thrust has Cass tensing, then coming with a sigh, melting against Tim’s mouth.
She pats his cheek when she pulls away, smiling at him, eyes hazy and face pink, looking far more relaxed than when they started. Tim smiles to see it. She slips off of Jason, resting on his other side, curling her legs under her.
Tim eases his cock from Jason’s mouth—when he whimpers, Cass replaces it with her fingers. Jason’s eyes blow wide in surprise, and then he sucks eagerly. Cass smiles down at him.
Tim settles between his legs, cupping his balls lifting them as if he's testing the weight of them before making a low, sympathetic noise. "Aw, poor baby. You're so full. I bet it hurts, doesn't it?"
Jason whines around Cass’s fingers. Tim is sure he would be begging to come if he could speak—especially when Tim rolls them in his palm, rubbing them with his fingertips. Jason thrashes his head, his hips moving in short, aborted jerks as he tries to stay still, like Tim asked.
“What do you think, Cass?” Tim asks, contemplatively. “Has he earned it?”
Cass hums, her mouth quirking on one side. “Hasn’t made you come yet,” she points out, to Jason’s distress. Idly, she starts circling one of his nipples with her free hand. Tim watches his chest jerk, both up and away.
Tim lets his eyes widen, pretending surprise. “You’re right. He hasn’t. That’s not really fair, is it Jay?” he asks, and Jason whines, pouting around Cass’s fingers. He’s so cute, with his curls falling into those big, pleading eyes, glassy with lust and tears.
Ignoring him, Tim hums contemplatively. “Although... I did promise him a reward for making you come again." He pets Jason's thigh, cocking his head like he's thinking. “Hm… I suppose for your reward, darling, I’ll take this off for you.” Tim eases the cock ring from him, and lets it fall on the bed beside them. “But if you want to come…” He grabs the base of the plug, Cass turning it off as pulls it out. “You’re going to have to do it on my cock. Think you can do that?”
Jason nods, frantically. His cheeks have hollowed, and Tim knows he’s got to be sucking Cass’s fingers like a champ. He can see her moving slightly, probably petting his tongue.
Tim lets the plug drop on the bed with the cock ring. He grabs the lube again. Hisses at the cold liquid on his heated flesh before he strokes himself, smearing it everywhere. He doesn’t bother with a condom; just lines himself up with Jason’s hole, lifting up one of Jason’s legs and pushing it toward his chest.
With one snap of his hips, he buries himself to the hilt.
Jason sobs. His cock and balls twitch, a spurt of precome splattering on his skin. He tightens beautifully around Tim, making him snarl at the tight, wet heat of him.
Cass hums, watching with dark eyes. She presses her mouth against Jason’s temple and whispers, just loud enough for Tim to hear, “Beautiful.”
The praise makes Jason shake, sobbing again. Cass brushes hair from his forehead, looking from him to Tim, clear approval in her eyes. Keep him, she tells him silently, without so much as moving her lips.
I intend to, Tim says back, snapping his hips again. Jason keens.
Cass keeps petting Jason, touch firm and soothing, letting him suck on her fingers as Tim fucks him. He uses the same pace as Cass, right at the very start. Hard and punishing, slowing occasionally to roll his hips, angling for Jason’s prostate.
It doesn’t take very long at all for Jason to come. Especially not when Cass starts teasing his tit again—scraping a nail over his tight, puckered nipple.
Tim has to hold his hips and Cass his shoulders to keep him from arching completely off the bed, mouth hanging open in a silent shout. He paints his own chest with come—Tim helps him, massaging his balls and perineum while fucking him shallowly.
When Jason collapses, he looks half passed out.
Tim pets his flanks, giving both of them a moment to catch their breaths and then... he keeps going, chasing his own bliss in the tight heat of Jason's body.
Cass drags three fingers through Jason’s come—examines them curiously, tilting them in the light. Then, she slips her fingers from Jason's mouth, holding up the ones covered in his come instead. Jason swallows them down without hesitation, moaning when he tastes himself on her fingers, and that—
That’s when Tim spills, deep inside him. He feels Jason shudder, hears his quiet moan, feels the way he clenches around him. He clenches tighter when Tim pulls out, as if he can hold him inside, but Tim ignores him. A line of come follows his cock; Tim scoops it up with his fingers, stuffs it back inside, using them to keep him plugged while he snags the plug. He uses his come to slick the plug before working back inside him. As soon as it's settled, Jason sighs sweetly, relaxing back against the mattress, suckling contentedly on Cass's fingers.
Tim crawls up to the headboard, settling down on Jason's other side. He strokes Jason's cheek. "You can let go of the headboard now, sweetheart," he whispers. Jason blinks up at him. It takes him a second to comply, and when he does, it's slow, finger-by-finger before he lowers his arms. Cass slips her fingers from his mouth, then; she and Tim each taking one of his arms, massaging them. Jason hums, low and rumbly like a purr.
Tim raises Jason's hand to his mouth, turning it to kiss his palm before threading their fingers together. "Very well done, sweetheart. You were so good for us, thank you."
Jason shivers, blinking sleepily at him, a little smile on his mouth.
Cass sweeps Jason's bangs from his face again so she can kiss his forehead. "Good boy," she tells him when she comes back up. Jason blinks at her, wide-eyed with surprise. Then he flushes, smiling shyly at her. She smiles back, sweetly, patting his cheek before leaning over him.
Tim meets her halfway, sighing into her slow, languid kiss.
They say sharing is caring, and right now, Tim couldn’t agree more.

I'm literally so sorry for being confused about this, but the post you reblogged discussing politics is confusing me??? Who is who? Is it referring to Democrats and Republicans? I'm not sure why, but the phrasing is really confusing to me.
This is the post:
https://www.tumblr.com/travelingthief/761987637116633088?source=share
Hello!
This is the post -
Yes, it is about Kamala Harris and Donald Trump. Harris is the Democratic nominee and Trump is the republican nominee for this election. The governor mentioned is Tim Walz, Kamala’s VP pick.
Both of them have a history of fighting for equal LGBT+ rights, whereas their opponents, Donald Trump and JD Vance, have actively tried to suppress queer rights.
There are some people - often centrists or extreme leftists - who think that Kamala would be an awful president because she’s “just as bad” as Trump. Is the Democratic Party perfect? Fuck no! But the Republican Party is *significantly more harmful* to marginalized people. As the post says, Kamala Harris was one of the first people to perform gay marriages and Tim walz made his state a sanctuary state. Donald Trump wants to restrict trans health care and potentially aim gay marriage.
Still, I’ve had people say to me “So I’m supposed to vote democrat just because they’re not facists?” They believe the presidential nominees should be better (which they should, absolutely! But in the society we have, that is not currently an option) and are either refusing to vote or voting third party. Voting third party, while great in local elections, does NOTHING in presidential elections besides funnel votes away from people who could actually win.
But uhhh…… yeah. In a facists vs non-facists election…… vote for non-facist. How is that hard to understand? Realistically we only have two choices, Trump and Harris. And Harris is significantly better than Donald Trump.
So vote blue!

AO3 Wrapped (Writer's Edition)
How many words have you written this year?  246,800
How many works did you publish this year? 13
What work are you most proud of (regardless of kudos/hits)?  m.i.a. I loved writing Jason's silly (and smart) goons.
What work of yours has the most hits?  with crimson hands.*
What work of yours got more feedback than you expected?  This is recent, so it's fresh in my mind: fine print. It was like pulling teeth to write it, and I wasn't expecting to get a big response.
Favorite title you used?  beware the patient woman.
If you use song lyrics, which artist’s songs did you pull from the most?  I believe only the above is a song lyric title this year and it's from A Little Wicked by Valerie Broussard.
Pairing you wrote the most for this year?  Tim Drake & Jason Todd, as usual.
Favorite pairing you wrote for this year?  I enjoyed writing Dick & Jason, especially in what's in a name.
What work was the quickest to write?  All of them languish for long periods of time in between writing an outline/first scene, but I think I wrote the rest of fine print in an afternoon.
What work took you the longest to write?  with crimson hands took forever because I had no idea where I was going with it.
How many WIP’s do you have in your docs for next year?  Uhhh, I plead the fifth.
What’s your longest work of the year?  leash.*
What’s your shortest work of the year?  beware the patient woman.
What WIP are you taking into next year with you? Published? None, though I'm thinking about adding an extra chapter to unrefusable offer.
What’s your most common “Additional Tags” tag?  Whump.
Your favorite character to write this year?  Surprisingly, Dick Grayson. I don't know what this says about my sibling issues.
The character that gave you the most trouble writing this year?  Timmy. My characterization of him is in flux at the moment.
What’s one pairing you want to explore next year?  Probably write more Dick & Jason.
Which work of yours have you reread the most?  with crimson hands, because it took so long to write.
How many kudos in total did you get this year?  59,425
Which work has the most comments?  m.i.a.*
Did you do any collaborative works this year? Sadly, no.
Did you write any gifts this year?  Yup! A birthday gift, and two exchange fics.
Did you receive any gifts this year?  Yup, 4!
What’s your most common category?  Gen.
What do you listen to while writing?  Nothing, unless I'm writing a longfic, those usually get a playlist.
Favorite work you wrote this year? I had a lot of fun with as you wish.
Favorite line/passage you wrote this year?  There is a famous saying—misattributed and mistranslated—that claims if you wait long enough by the river, you will see the corpses of your enemies float by.  They don’t mention that you have to destroy the dam first. I love this bit, and am still sad that no one appears to have caught the implication.
Biggest surprise while writing this year?  That people apparently like my fight scenes, even though to me, it's a fight to get them on the page.
*Ignoring Batcellanea, which is a behemoth that has destroyed my stats permanently.

chris kent in uhhh e2 please :)
Tumblr media
He borrowed the shirt from Tim, not because he wants it, but because he knows Tim got it from Dick, and Chris would love nothing more than to make Dick Grayson’s day more difficult

“You can scream if you need to.” for… hmmm… Tim/Any
:))) Link to the story on AO3
This uhhh DickTim piece turned out like double the length of what I initial assumed with a word count of 1218
Ask Game
“It’s okay to be scared Tim” he whispers, as he caresses one soft cheek, relishing in the touch of warm skin on his, the way his angry rosy flush contrasts so nicely with Dick’s pale hand. He skillfully ignores the glare being sent his way, as Tim tries to twist away from his cold touch and the eye-contact he’s forcing onto him. “But please don’t fight me on this, I only want what’s best for you”
“If you truly wanted what’s best for me, you wouldn’t have done this” Tim hisses back.
Dick can hear the fine tremors in Tim’s voice that he’s trying to hide, the way he’s so clearly close to a breakdown and holding back tears. Clinging to his iron control with the tips of his fingers.
“You don’t understand” he croons, tilting Tim’s chin further up. Dick casually dismisses his hands that are trying to claw at him, trying to push him off and away. “It had to be done, the others wouldn’t have gotten it, but you?” He can hear the awe and reverence in his own voice, as he breathes the last words out.
He leans in even closer practically exhaling the next words onto Tim’s lips as he stares deep into his eyes, trying to will him into getting it “I know I can trust you, out of anyone from this cursed joke of a family, you’re the only one I can always count on to have my back. To be there for me when I need you the most.” He can see the conflict visible in Tim’s eyes. He’s trying to hide it behind his mask, but Dick knows him. Knows that his words are getting to him and touching that deep, vulnerable part of his heart he tries to keep hidden and safe. “There’s no one else I’d trust more.” he whispers softly
He watches Tim’s mask fracture and gets a glimpse of the raw emotions behind it, how Dick’s words have hit him deeply, before iron doors slam closed and steel his face once again.
Tim was too good at this to be easily swayed by simple words, even if Dick had meant every one of them and poured everything he felt into it. That was fine, he had expected nothing less.
Tim was always so well guarded, able to compartmentalize his experiences and neatly go through them when he had the time. (Of course it wasn’t without fault, if things got messed up, or he didn’t have time to go through it, it could hit him all at once). Out of everyone in the family he had been the closest to Bruce in that regard, but despite their similarities, the two tended to be nothing alike. Tim was his own person, not chained by the legacy Bruce had built. Which was one of the many reasons why Dick admired on him so much.
He could see the need on Tim’s face to take a jab at him, could read it in the tension of his body, to point out how he hadn’t been there for Dick when he needed him the most as Batman, to distract from his own brief lapse in control by bringing up those memories. Trying to deny what Dick said by pointing out his failure.
(Nevermind that Dick failed him too, that Dick didn’t catch Tim when he needed it the most. It didn’t make it okay, didn’t make it even. But it didn’t make his words weigh any less).
Instead of doing any of that, Tim mutters something else, “If you truly trusted me that much,” he looks aside, shifting the tiniest bit in place “why did you wait with this? Why didn’t come to me sooner? Why did you do all this,” he gestures weakly around them, “before you talked to me?”
“I couldn’t put that burden on you Tim, you’ve always been the more soft one between the two of us. More willing to forgive and forget than me, offering so many people second and third chances without scorning them. You would have tried to convince Bruce to see our side. I couldn’t risk that. I couldn’t risk loosing you.”
Tim shakes his head “And what about Jason?” he questions “You don’t seem too terrible sorry that you lost one brother already by trying to turn him.”
“A brief attempt at getting more than one brother and a distraction from the illusion on you. I’m not sorry that it didn’t work, it would have been hard to keep him on a leash. It was his choice to die human, or as human as was left, but I won’t give you the same freedom. I’m not going to lose you, not again, never again.”
Tim attempts to draw back, and this time Dick lets him take a step back. He watches as Tim distances himself, a frown on his face, his shoulders hunched as if he’s expecting attack or trying to hide away from something.
“I can’t join you, not willingly, I’d betray everything I ever stood for” Dick takes a couple of steps closer again, mind already running on what to say, how to explore the weakness that Tim just offered when he continues. “Even if I wanted to trust you, you aren’t the brother I once knew. Not anymore.”
He doesn’t see the stab come until it’s almost too late, too convinced that Tim wouldn’t try to go after his family. That he’d be trying to reason with Dick and give him a second chance, just like Dick had been spouting about. But maybe seeing his father die was too much for him, and it broke something. But that’s okay, it just means Dick can build him up again, this time like he wants it to. Without the interference of anyone else trying to twist Tim into something for their own gain, with little regard of what will be good for him.
“Fine!” He snaps, baring his fangs, “have it your way. If you don’t want to understand, I’m just going to have to make you.” It morphs into a smirk as he watches Tim take an instinctual step back at the display of his fangs, and the reminder of Dick’s inhumanity. “If you don’t want to join me willingly I’ll have to force it, I didn’t want it to come to this, but I will do what I have too to ensure your safe.” He lunges for Tim.
Tim still attempts to lash out at him again, trying to futilely to fight back, even when he knows he has lost already. His attempts at resistance were nothing compared to Dick’s new superhuman abilities and just like he had told him before, if Dick had wanted any of them dead already they would have been so. Crossing the short distance in a fraction of a second he grabs Tim by the neck, twists his head to the side and bares his throat.
Dick leans in and graces his fangs feather-lightly over the soft skin there, almost feeling the jackhammer pulse against his teeth. Before whispering, “Don’t worry, you can scream if you need to.”
He watches the last of the fight drain out of Tim, accepting what is to come, accepting Dick and trusting him, seconds before he bites.

Bart: You are entirely bullet proof, right? Like nothing can hurt you?
Connor: Where you going with this, B?
Bart: I would like to try and kick you in the balls at top speed and see if it hurts.
Connor: Thats dumb. Its not going to hurt.
Bart: Have you tried it?
Connor: No but...
Bart: But what? Exactly! Its an impulsive urge and thats literally my code name!
Connor: Mojave Desert. Lets go.
Cassie: Absolutely not! As team leader I'm putting my foot down on this terrible idea.
Connor: You wouldn't understand, babe.
Bart: Yeah its a guy thing.
Cassie: No, its an idiot thing. Which you two clearly are!
Bart: Ok we hear you but we're still going to do it anyways because we're bored and Tim's busy with his brothers.
Cassie: Is this the kind of thing you three idiots do when you're bored?
Connor: Pretty much yeah.
Cassie: Bart could get seriously injured. Kicking steel at mach 20 or whatever is going to shatter every bone in his foot and leg!
Connor: Uhhh he's got super healing?
Bart: Thank you! Sure my leg could turn to dust but give it like, six hours max I'll be fine.
Cassie: I won't be!
Bart: Well seeing as how it won't be your leg
Connor: Or your balls
Bart: I think you'll be just fine.
Cassie: I will call Clark and Barry then.
Bart: Where do you think we got the idea from?
Cassie: Supermen and super speedsters are super idiots.
Bart: Honey, we never claimed to be smart.
