The Marvel Family after successfully defeating the Monster Society of Evil:
Captain Marvel (Billy): Well, I'd say that was a thrilling day of...surviving! Hey, anyone up to see a movie?
Freddy: Can we invite Tim (SABBAC) if he makes bail?
Mary: Freddy, he tried to kill you!
Freddy: No brother is perfect.
Captain Marvel (Billy): He killed two people.
Freddy: I'll sit between you!

When you first wrote this I wanted to comment on it but there was nothing to say, it was too perfect already. BUT I have month later remembered that Freddy has a brother that is sometimes the supervillain Sabac. to which his response is:
"Make no mistake, Timothy Karnes was a bad man. But a long time ago, he was a good boy. I never let go of that. I try never to give up on people"
there is no way Freddy doesn't still wanna hang out with his friend Jay,
for the prompt night, "Back in 1876 an ol' boy named Bell Invented a contraption that we know so well by the 1950's they were in everybody's home, That crazy little thing they call the telephone, Now there's one on every corner, in the back of every bar, You can get one in your briefcase, in our pocket or your car So tell me why, haven't i, heard from you" go wild
Freddie, having said that, crossed his arms as he looked at Jason.
"I had... other things."
"Like blowin' up halfa Gotham?" Freddie blew some air out his mouth, tousleing the bit of hair in front of his face.
"Family business. "
Freddie sighed, and walked over, crutch cracking on the asphalt. "Right. But what about friend business? Come on, even if you forgot my number you coulda looked it up and dialed from the back of a bar. I had to find out you were alive from a Crack Booster Gold made!"
"I-"
"Okay, I know I ambushed ya. But meet me at the spot tomorrow night. If you don't show up an I hear that Red Hood was out n about, we're gonna have words."

i loved CPom- especially the 2nd half of that RD felt California breezy with so many details- they got faster😳☺️ that new gym that specializes in that is paying off. the tech caller at this event wasn’t as strict as lake placid so level 1 on the PSt dinging their BV plus judge 6 putting them 7th might have made the difference between 1st and 2nd
really excited for olivia and tim- they’re good together, loved the program
hannah and ye were doing this very fast synchronized off ice drill beforehand and that high energy translated to their program- she moves so well that even small moments are arresting. can’t wait to see how this develops, bc this is potentially 🧨
lily and nathan have this smooth almost buttery quality to their skating that’s so pleasing, and their RD is growing on me the more i get used to the music cuts
excellent debut for layla karnes and liam carr- wouldn’t guess it was their first competition - she’s only 17
sandrine and quentin! even since last week that was a different level of conviction and comfort with this program
alyssa and jacob continue to be so fun to watch💙
i hope leia is ok 😢 the medic was seeing to her leg
#why did the swiss team stop#what were the several things layla and liam were picking up off the ice before they started

I've been thinking about the Freeman Brothers a lot lately; Kit Freeman (Kid Eternity), Freddy Freeman (Captain Marvel Jr--he needs a new name), and Tim Karnes (SABBAC). Their lives and how they became separated are pretty tragic when you think about it.
Anyway.
I drew them (my redesigns!)
I plan to write about them eventually when this semester is done kicking my behind. (Tim Karnes, especially, is getting a full revamp and lore makeover).

OKAY, new crack theory: The culprit is Tim Karnes, and the reason he's kidnapping and unaliving homeless kids is because he needs to appease his patrons and this was the best way in his eyes, to avoid too much attention or capture by Captain Marvel. He takes body parts as trophies because he's a weirdo like that.
No one would expect a kid to be the killer, after all. And if Freddy does have a more prominent role later on, this could be the reason why (other than wanting to save his best friend Billy).
This is actually a really solid and coherent theory! I especially love the callback to Tim Karnes and Freddy's history as foster brothers and rivals. That's a bit of comics history people often forget! He certainly would be someone that other people might not suspect and as a fellow street kid he would be able gain trust in a way an adult wouldn't. And ritual sacrifice has been a part of his origins before!
Definitely not a crack theory!

SABBAC the Champion of the Six Demons: Satan, Aym, Belial, Beezlebub, Asmodeus, Crateis; from the Rock of Finality, another piece of the Garden of Eternity that broke off and found itself trapped in a hell dimension. The six demons:
Initially attaching itself to a man named Bayer, Sabbac jumped into the body of Tim Karnes, a foster-brother of Freddy Freeman, only to abandon the boy after repeated failures. Karnes was eventually approached by Bratva leader Pakhan Gregor and his half-Kahndaqi son, Ishmael.
Infiltrating Black Reign-controlled Kahndaq, Ishmael was able to contact the six demons and become the new Sabbac, though his subsequent attempt to take control of the country led to a swift defeat at the hands of Black Adam.
Reforming his body outside of Kahndaq, the Demons of Finality decided instead of abandoning Ishmael, they would send him some assistance in the form of “Stinky” Stan Printwhistle, the host of IBAC. Karnes returned to America by himself, having won his way back into the Demons’ bad good graces as Sabbac Jr., once again a thorn in his foster-brother’s side.

Bathe deeply in that ocean of sound Vibrating within you, now as always, Resonating softly, Permeating the space of the heart. The ear that is tuned by rapt listening Learns to hear the song of creation. First like a hand bell, Then subtler, like a flute, Subtler still as a stringed instrument, Eventually as the buzz of a bee. Entering this current of sound, The Listening One Forgets the external world, becomes Absorbed into internal sound, Then absorbed in vastness, Like the song of the stars as they shine.
