Soon, Sinister came upon Morph and Storm, and tried to turn them against one another. But the two stood strong, using the power of snow and lightning as well as goodness and light to capture Sinister, freezing him in a prison of light, locked in snow, and sealed with lightning, that would keep Sinister locked away forever...

Gambit and Wolverine found the missing people, The Queen of Hearts, whom Gambit had fallen in love with, a young girl, who was Wolverine's daughter, Jubilation, and a Phoenix who soon turned into a woman with fiery hair, the Princess of the Fiery Kingdom... Together they broke out, freeing any others prisoners, such as Charles the Wise, Magneto the Mage, Mystique the Mystical, and Sabretooth the Smilodon-taur...

And Reader and Scott found the artifact, one that could grant them their heart's desires... It was a a mirror, one which showed them.what they wanted... and in the mirror, it showed them all of them, together, as a family...

So the heroes all came together, embraced, and left the dark castle, going back to their freed kingdoms, and with special orbs so they could summon each other and call when needed...

identity is above all else, it seems like. ep 14 of queen of tears ruined me in all the good ways. when the question is "do you want to die as yourself?" vs "are you willing to live at the cost of who you are as a person?", the ultimate answer hae-in gives is no. she'd rather come to peace with the prospect of death with all of her memories of loving and, in turn, being loved coming with her. the death of memories is more painful than the death of her life itself. hyunwoo begging and sobbing in her arms does not deter her, however much she wants to keep on living. as herself. keep on living as the hong hae-in who loved dearly and who was loved, desperately so.

a loss of identity is death to everything that ever had a hand in helping her become who she is now. this brings me to the phrase "death is for the living". the dead do not mourn or face the aftermath of their last breath in the world of the living. the living, those who are left behind, are the ones who truly know what death is. so it is painful when hyunwoo, the man who isn't struck with the terminal illness bound to take her life any time soon, begs almost on his knees for hae-in, the woman who's counting the seconds left she has to live, to give up her sense of self. it's understandable how both of them stand strong in their desires. one fears becoming a stranger to all that she loves and one fears becoming familiar to life without the one he cannot live without. so he does everything in his power to have her take the surgery (all effort is in vain, she will not give up her identity).

i love this episode so much. im still only halfway through it but i had to give my two cents. such a beautifully tragic dilemma of two people who love. one loves by wanting to remember, one loves by giving everything to make her live. have a taste of love again for the first time. he says that he'll be the first person she'll meet and get to know again after the surgery. that he will still be there for her when she wakes up a completely different, empty, and lost person. he wants her to live, does not care if she'll ever even be able to reconnect with him ever again. he believes that she deserves to wake up another day and smile. to still be able to make new memories.

in the end they're both very selfish people who love selflessly.

edit: help me my stomach hurts from laughing so hard oml not him using his face and body card to annoy her into living. using jealousy as a mean to motivate her to take the freaking surgery and live ugh im in tears ahhahahah i love how if she doesn't become convinced the first few times when he's nice, he just intentionally pisses her off or annoys her into doing things to help herself 😭😭 thr only way to get hae-in motivated to live: make her mad at himself and have her do beneficial things out of sheer SPITE

Ok so THEORY: this summoning/portal ritual caused a portal to appear from Simon to Fiona’s world, like the chant eventually said. The portal itself (in Fiona’s universe) was specifically tied to ice, since that’s a point of simons identity. Well, the portal cake wen through was right near human ice queen, so I thought it was because ice queen was the Simon of Fiona’s universe. But cake doesn’t enter her, but just the ice in her ice cream cart. Hmmm,,,, not sure.

But hes worse]. Sunil used his magic to create black mold spores on the corner of the day camp he stood in front of. He then used his magic even more to speed up the spread of the black mold. He let out a wicked laugh, excited to get his revenge on that green goblin.

Speaking on thr vinnie, no one had seen him in two days. He hadnt showed up to the day camp at all. All the pets just assumed that vinnie had just stayed home. He heard coughing from the other side of the room, volient and deadly, sickening and heartstopping. He turned around, pennlyling collasped on the floor, clutching her stomach. what do we find out about the dusk court/ “dusk’s truth” ? Do we see the court revived?

I will be using the Dusk Court to refer to the Prison & Associated lands for easiness, but one thing that is important to note is that the Dusk Court was never a formally Court like the present ones of Prythian. It predates them all, and it fell to ruin before the High Lords came into existence. It's more like thr Kingdom of Dusk.

The Dusk Court's archipelago was originally ruled by a daglan named Vesperus, the Evening Star, who is not the same nor related to Hesperus, the other Evening Star on Crescent City, and it was where Theia grew up. Once the daglan were ousted from Prythian and Fionn became High King, Theia became his High Queen but also the sovereign of the Dusk Court in her own right. She built her little court there.

The area is a Thin Place. That means it's on knot of the ley lines and the barrier between the worlds is thinner, making it easier to worldwalk; as such, it's also a land where magic naturally gathers. As Theia's connection to the land grew, so did her powers. Eventually, she and the brunt of her people crossed to Midgard, seeking to conquer more worlds.

Okay so, when things went to shit in Midgard and Theia bid her daughters to return to Prythian, she divided her starlight between the three of them. At the start of the series, Bryce only had the one passed down to her from Helena's bloodline. There's two missing: Theia's fragment, which she had imbued in the Starsword, and Silene's, who crossed back into Prythian.

On the Midgard side of things, Bryce has Helena's fragment to start with. Later, they go to Avallen, which is like a medieval park. Things have been kept nearly unchanged in thousands of years and land us off. Flynn and his sister, Earth Magic fae, HATE it. Their magic hates it. It turns out that Avallen is withering/dying because it's also a thin place, a nexus in the ley lines, and Helena used their power to keep Theia's part of the starlight imprisoned. Once it's freed, the land blooms anew, verdant and abundant. Even missing islands return.

Fifteen thousand years in the past, Silene chose the Dusk Court Island as the place to leave behind her part of Theia light. The place was already left alone by the fae, who seemingly deemed it cursed, so she decided to make it cursed for real. There's an evil in the Island that lingers, so she searched MORE evils to hide it — Silene as the power to shift thr rock and the Island's architecture, erasing the castle and leaving only the dungeons and the eight pointed chamber we see. She filled it with monsters and made it into the Prison. Then, she left her part of the light there.

The land died as a result.

Bryce speculates that once she freed Avallen's magic that she might have reawakened the Prison as well, that they're maybe connected as they're both Thin Places. The Prison and the Dusk Court are the legacy of Silene, she was the one who keyed it to the High Lord of Night's bloodline — her son's bloodline.

It's unconfirmed if the island has truly reawakened and if it has, what the actual fuck happened to the monsters, or if it's still a Prison.

(The great evil Silene felt was Vesperus hiding beneath it all which was taken care of lol)

thavius actually just became high overseer, only to ask ravengard to come on over RIGHT BEFORE the time limit was up and elturel would be pulled to hell!! ravengard didn’t even WANT to go, he was pressured to, probs bc elturel was gaining power n turning into a proper nation, and they have various disputes that make ulder “at odds” with them!

thavius greeted the duke and then LEFT HIM THERE to “watch from a safe distance” then disguised himself as a refugee and then tells everyone elturel has fallen with HUNDREDS OF HIS OWN PEOPLE THA5 ARE REFUGEES BC OF HIS EVIL ASS, and then goes to chill with duke vanthampur in her VILLA, while all the tieflings are in RAGS.

Sure!

She's based on Karen from The Red Shoes, so her backstory in my DisneyVerse is such:

She's was born in the kingdom of Glowerhaven and grew up poor but happy until she was orphaned at the young age of seven. She was taken in by a great aunt who was wealthy but had never tried to help Karen's parents in life due to disaproving of her neice’s marriage to a poor man.

One of the first things this aunt did was burn a pair of red shoes Karen owned, one of the last presents her parents gave her (made to match those of the young Princess Ida she'd seen once and admired) as the aunt thought they were too old and besides that too vain for a child to wear.

And from there she was kept at the beck and call of this aunt, made to do all she wished and forbidden from playing with 'common' children and especially from dancing, another thing she loved, as it too was deemed unseemingly for a proper young lady.

When Karen was about 13, she saw the young Princess Ida of Glowerhaven agin, wearing red shoes and dancing on her balcony, and she thought that she'd like to have the power a princess had, so that she could be free to wear beautiful things and dance and have no one be able to tell her differently.

She realized as she grew up that her physical beauty granted her some power in that it made people treat her differently than they had when she was just a poor dirty girl on the streets. And so she began to use it to her advantage to win people over, becoming rather vain and self obsorbed, delighting in playing the coquette and making people trip over themselves to please her.

When she was 18 she was taken to court to be presented to the Queen of Glowerhaven and the rest of Society, and scandalized her aunt and several others by wearing a pair of red shoes (which she'd had specially commissioned) when she was meant to wear all white.

Karen was quite pleased with the attention this gained her though, thinking her display of independence had gained her another point of victory in the court games--until her aunt started to go off on her for being wanton and wilfull and how she'd see to it that she'd be kept at home or locked away in a convent for the rest of her life. The aunt also demanded that this new pair of red shoes be burned the same as the first pair had been, and forced Karen to watch as they burned away.

At this point Karen ran from the manor and out into the streets, knowing she wouldnt be able to go far before her aunts men caught her, but distraught and furious and scared and wanting to do something--and in just the right frame of mind to listen to the proposal of a strange old soldier who appeared at the crossroads, offering her freedom and power to do whatever she wished, to be able to out dance the wind itself--if she'd be willing to make a bargain with him.

Which was how Karen found herself with a new pair of red dancing shoes, ones that made her thr greatest dancer anyone had ever seen, and she could never take off--traveling the lands in the strange company of the Old Soldier Voland, doing his bidding and fulfilling his schemes, and wondering if she hadn't traded one prison for another...

Jumping to the future after the Frozen 3 adventures, I like to think that she and Hans settle down somewhere by the sea side where they can just have a chill life away from terrible family members and evil demon bosses, and maybe even have a kid eventually (though given their own upbringings they take their time deciding on if thats something they actually want or not)
