I don't care about Evan Rosier. We just don't know enough about him in canon for me to even be interested in the fanon for him. I don't mind him as a background character, but I don't understand why he's gotten so popular.

I don't have a problem with people liking Slytherins or Death Eaters, that's not what this is about. But other fan favorites usually have more characterization. Even with Regulus, who is also someone we only hear about after his death, we get to see his childhood bedroom, learn about his family, and hear about him in detail from people who knew him. Others like Bellatrix, Snape, the Malfoys, etc. show up in the present day and play an important role.

Why Evan? What makes him interesting? What sets him apart from Wilkes, Mulciber, Avery, Nott Sr., Augustus Rookwood, Selwyn, Corban Yaxley, Thorfinn Rowle, any of the other "literally just a name" Death Eaters nobody cares about? Why has the fandom become so obsessed with him?

La familia Rowle era una familia mágica de sangre pura. El autor del Directorio de Sangre Pura la considera como una de los Sagrado Veintiocho. Han sido desde hace siglos una familia de alta relevancia en la sociedad mágica británica, portando consigo miembros bastante importantes en ella, así como Damocles Rowle como mayor ejemplo.

Braxton Rowle:

Fue un mago que, como su padre, trabajó en el ministerio británico de magia como parte del Wizengamot. Fue conocido por ser demasiado duro en los juicios y su cara nunca cambiaba de expresión de desprecio por cualquiera que se sentara en el medio de la sala. 

Nació en algún momento de 1913 en Irlanda, de donde es originaria la familia Rowle. En su juventud asistió a Hogwarts y fue seleccionado en la casa Slytherin. También se estipula que fuera un mago oscuro debido a las tendencias que tuvieron sus hijos en la Guerra Mágica, pero se desconoce si él participó debido a su edad.

Antigone Rowle:

Antigone Rowle, de soltera Greengrass, es una bruja que nació en 1913.

Euphemia Rowle & Thorfinn Rowle

Euphemia Rowle:

Es la mayor de los hijos de Braxton y Antigone Rowle. Se desconoce si participó en la Guerra Mágica, aunque se cree que sí debido a su supremacía y a que es una bruja oscura. Es una persona bastante agria que no se preocupa por nadie, únicamente por su beneficio. Es bastante  codiciosa y siempre que oye una moneda repiquetear está ahí.

Nació en algún momento de 1931 en Irlanda, de donde es la familia Rowle. En su juventud asistió a Hogwarts y fue seleccionada en la casa Slytherin. Nunca se casó y se estima que nunca lo hará debido a su edad. La única compañía que tiene es el augurey que como tradición, todos los núcleos familiares Rowle tienen. Se cree que su apariencia tan arrugada es por lo amargada que vive ya que realmente no es tan mayor. 

Thorfinn Rowle:

Thorfinn Rowle fue un mago oscuro británico y un mortífago que luchó en la Primera Guerra Mágica aunque no se han encontrado pruebas que lo afirmen. Es el más pequeño de los hijos de Braxton y Antigone Rowle. Ha sido muy cercano a sus primas ya que Rowena es tan solo un año más pequeña que él. 

Nació en algún momento de 1948 en Irlanda, de donde es la familia Rowle. En su juventud asistió a Hogwarts y fue seleccionado en la casa Slytherin.

Edvard Rowle & Galane Rowle

Edvard Rowle:

Es un mago oscuro supremacista, aunque no sea información de dominio público. Él trabaja en el Ministerio británico de Magia en el departamento de misterios como jefe/director de este. Ha sido inefable desde pocos años después de su graduación en Hogwarts. 

Nació en algún momento de 1933 en Irlanda, de donde es la familia Rowle. En su juventud asistió al colegio Hogwarts de Magia y Hechicería y fue seleccionado en la casa Slytherin. Se desconoce a ciencia cierta si participó en la Guerra Mágica aunque por ciertos comentarios que han dicho sus propias hijas, se intuye que sí lo hizo. 

Galane Rowle:

Galane Rowle, Yaxley de soltera, pertenece a una de las familias consideradas de los Sagrados 28 de antaño, como la Rowle.  Es la esposa de Evdard Rowle; la pareja tiene dos hijas mellizas: Bethanya y Nilssandre Rowle. 

Nació en algún momento de 1931 en Escocia, de donde es originaria la familia Yaxley. En su juventud asistió a Hogwarts y fue seleccionada en la casa Slytherin. Se cree que participó junto a su marido e hijas en la Guerra Mágica a favor de los mortífagos, pero no hay evidencias. 

Bethanya Rowle & Nilssandre Rowle

Bethanya Rowle:

Es una bruja de sangre pura hija de la pareja Edvard y Galane Rowle. Tiene una melliza llamada Nilssandre Rowle. 

Nació el 4 de noviembre de 1961 en Irlanda de donde es la familia Rowle. En su juventud asistió a Hogwarts y fue seleccionada en la casa Slytherin. Durante sus años en el colegio no le importó mostrar su desagrado hacia los nacidos de muggles e incluso hacia los mestizos. Parecía ser muy cruel como se veía cuando atacaba verbalmente a los nacidos de muggles que se acercaban amablemente a ella. Por esto se cree que pudo participar en la Guerra Mágica, pero tampoco hay evidencias.

Nilssandre Rowle:

Es una bruja de sangre pura hija de la pareja Edvard y Galane Rowle. Tiene una melliza llamada Bethanya Rowle.

Nació el 4 de noviembre de 1961 en Irlanda de donde es la familia Rowle. En su juventud asistió a Hogwarts y fue seleccionada en la casa Slytherin. Durante sus años en el colegio, a diferencia de Bethanya, ella era más cautelosa prefiriendo ignorar a atacar. Aunque parecía ser más neutral en este tema hubo ocasiones en las que se confirmó que era purista de la sangre. Como su hermana, no se sabe si participó en la Guerra Mágica, pero todo apunta a que sí.

Small Introduction:

Hey there! I have done many iterations of this and honestly I just miss it! I hope you all will take the time to read this over as i spent a lot of time on this and it's not fun when people don't read everything.

Plot:

This does go chronologically through Harry Potter's years at Hogwarts and the struggles he deals with as well as his friends and enemies at school. But not only will we be following Harry Potter but some other characters.

My main character, Catalina Thorne, has gone through quite a lot. Not by any means as much as Harry Potter, The Boy Who Lived. But she has dealt with things her classmates and friends could scarcely ever go through. She had to watch her life unfold as a lie and had to lie about the true death of her family. She has to keep a secret of the family safe. The one person she shouldn't trust her secret to is the son of a death eater. But Catalina, the shy sweet innocent girl that she plays, goes and gets a crush on the worst person she can, Draco Malfoy. Can she manage to keep her family secret when her boyfriend's family is one of the darkest wizarding families? Find out!

Working at the Ministry of Magic under Pius Thicknesse -- and by extension Voldemort’s Death Eaters -- wasn’t easy for Carewyn. The paragon lawyer tried very hard to keep a stable position in the Department of Magical Law Enforcement not just to try to protect her family and the friends who were currently being in the new regime’s crosshairs, but also to hopefully find ways to sabotage the new Muggle-Born Registration Commission’s efforts to track down and imprison so-called “political dissidents.” One of those such “dissidents” brought before Dolores Umbridge’s kangaroo court ended up being a boy who was supposed to start his first year at Hogwarts in the fall of 1997, but who the Ministry claimed couldn’t possibly have been born with magic, because both of his parents were Muggles. 

The boy’s name was Erik Apollo -- and unbeknownst to him and Carewyn, their collision at the Ministry would change both of their lives forever. 

Erik’s entrance into the Wizarding World was very traumatic. When the Death Eater-aligned Ministry employees led by Thorfinn Rowle first arrived at his door, they immediately tried to kidnap him. Out of desperation, Sadie Apollo fought them off with the only weapon she could lay her hands on, spraying the wizard who’d grabbed Erik with insect repellent straight in the eyes to try to give her son the chance to run and get help. Sadly, Erik’s mother’s brave and selfless act earned her nothing but a swift execution via the Killing Curse, and Rowle conjured a cursed rope out of his wand to seize Erik around the neck and yank him into submission like some wild animal. The cursed black rope burned into his flesh with black fire, leaving terrible, dark burn scars around his neck that Erik would wear for the rest of his life. 

With his mother’s death still fresh in his mind, Erik was easy prey for the dementors that swarmed around the courtroom he was lugged to, so as to confront the “charges” against him: namely, stealing magic from so-called “real” witches and wizards. Erik’s despair, grief, terror, and pain were a perfect feast for them, and having to relieve the traumatic memories over and over again made it nearly impossible for Erik to focus or fight back against the people seeking to imprison him for a crime he didn’t commit and didn’t even completely understand. 

And yet, even with this, Erik managed to keep a shred of sanity. His weapon, it turned out, was his righteous anger -- anger being something that the dementors couldn’t inhale from him as well as despair -- and so when Umbridge made the incredibly foolish mistake of bringing up Erik’s deceased mother, the tiny eleven-year-old boy ended up conjuring up an out-of-control, wandless Blasting Charm out of nothing. Umbridge, Corban Yaxley, and the court scribe just barely managed to conjure Shield Charms, but the spell went out in all directions and slammed into the back door, leaving a large crack through the center of it. 

Although most any child would’ve been shocked at what he’d just done, Erik -- too blinded by the dementors’ dark, despairing fog -- was barely aware of it, since all he could see was red. 

“Don’t talk about my mother like that, you fat old toad!”

“You – how dare you – !”

“Say anything else about her and I’ll call you much worse, you – you foul, ugly, old bint!”

Umbridge was absolutely beside herself at the boy’s absolute impudence. It didn’t take her long to sentence Erik to a lifetime in Azkaban, “preferably in the darkest, filthiest corner” there was, so as to supposedly “teach him a lesson.” As fate would have it, however, Erik breaking the door was what had caught the attention of Ministry lawyer Carewyn Cromwell, and what had likewise allowed her to catch the tail-end of Erik’s hearing. She had known that the Ministry would be going after Muggle-borns, but this was the first time she’d seen one so young get hauled before Umbridge’s court, and although Carewyn had a bad feeling there’d been others, she was horrified at the sight. And yet even despite the horror she felt, Carewyn was also struck by the boy’s demeanor -- managing to speak out against Umbridge and even cast wandless magic, even while surrounded by nearly a hundred dementors and looking so deathly pale and shaking so badly...

Although Carewyn had to quickly duck behind a corner so as not to be seen when Yaxley dragged the exhausted, but still vindictively swearing Erik out of the room and down the hall, she’d nonetheless made up her mind. 

She couldn’t let that poor boy go to Azkaban. She had to get him out of the Ministry, now. 

Hurrying back up to her office upstairs, Carewyn fetched an Invisibility Cloak she’d hidden in the bottom of her desk drawer in case of emergencies, hid it in one of the wide outer sleeves of her robes, and then dashed back downstairs to where she’d seen Erik being taken. Once Carewyn managed to break into the locked room, she rushed over to the small boy. Her approach made him bring both of his fists up in front of himself defensively.

“What do you want?” he demanded.

Carewyn raised a warning hand over her red lips. “Shh. I don’t want anything. I’m just getting you out of here.”

Erik was visibly startled.

“What...?”

“There’s not much time,” Carewyn said very lowly and urgently. 

Carewyn quickly undid the Invisibility Cloak, sweeping it around the boy even as he uneasily lowered his fists. 

“This is an Invisibility Cloak,” she explained to him, her almond-shaped blue eyes boring into his much lighter, more angular electric-blue eyes with the utmost seriousness. “As long as you’re completely covered by it, no one should see you.”

She fastened it around Erik, adjusting it around his torso so all that was still visible was his head and scarred neck. 

“Follow close behind me, as we go upstairs, but be very quiet, and don’t touch anyone except me,” she murmured. “People will be able to hear and feel you, even if they can’t see you. My office is on the second floor, so we’ll have to go up in the lift a way, but so long as you’re behind me the entire time, no one else should know you’re there.”

With this, Carewyn brought the hood up and over the boy’s head. Although she could no longer see the boy’s expression, she could feel his eyes boring into her face. Something suspicious rippled off of the empty space in front of her -- something mistrustful...like when she herself used to try to get a better fix on Patricia Rakepick so many years ago...

Despite herself, Carewyn felt her expression softening.

“I know you don’t trust me, and truly, there’s nothing I could say right now to make you. But I’m sure you’ve figured out by now that the place Umbridge is trying to send you is bad news. If we have any hope of keeping you out of Azkaban and out of the clutches of the dementors, I need to get you out of here right now.” 

Something methodical rippled off of the emptiness in front of her -- something like the whirring and clacking of gears. The boy seemed to be weighing her words, seeing the logic in them despite his uncertainty about her intentions. Weighing the risk of accepting help from someone who clearly was below Umbridge in rank, hence why she didn’t stride right in and speak out in his defense back in the courtroom, and yet had made plans and preparations to ensure they wouldn’t get caught...

This boy’s pretty sharp, Carewyn thought. For someone who responded to Umbridge with such temper, it was clear this boy was the sort to analyze things critically. 

After a moment, Carewyn both sensed and heard the boy nod. 

“Okay,” he said. “I’ll go with you.”

Once Carewyn smuggled Erik back to her office and shut the door, she used a Shrinking Charm to very carefully shrink him to a small enough size that she could keep him in her desk until her shift ended two hours later. Then, once she’d changed back into Muggle clothes for her walk home, she picked up Erik, hid him in a small pocket in her purse securely enough that he wouldn’t get crushed by anything or rattled around too much, and left the Ministry. Once she made it back to her flat, she unshrunk Erik and then set about contacting her brother Jacob so as to make plans to smuggle Erik to a more secure safehouse. It was only when Erik was about to leave with Jacob for that safehouse that he finally gave Carewyn his name.

“The name’s Erik,” he told her rather bluntly, seemingly out of the blue. “Erik Apollo. ...Thought you ought to know.”

Carewyn smiled. “It’s nice to meet you. I’m Carewyn Cromwell.”

Erik’s mouth twitched with an oddly mischievous grin. “Hn! ‘Bellatrix Lestrange,’ ‘Dolores Umbridge,’ ‘Carewyn Cromwell’...do all witches have weird old lady names?”

Carewyn giggled a bit despite herself. “Not all of them.”

Erik grinned a bit more fully, despite the lingering impishness of his expression. Even as he turned to leave, he looked back over his shoulder at Carewyn, his electric blue eyes alight with new determination.

“Anyway...thanks,” he said a bit more seriously. “For real. Thank you.”

And with that, he took Jacob’s hand, and the two Disapparated with a loud CRACK. 

Erik remained in hiding for the remainder of the Second Wizarding War. While in hiding, he learned quite a bit more about the Wizarding World -- about the Death Eaters and Voldemort, what was going on with the Ministry -- why his mother had been killed and he’d been kidnapped -- what would’ve happened to him, had he gone to Azkaban and been the prey of the dementors and their horrible Kiss. It made Erik resolve all the more in his conclusion that dementors were wholly corrupt, vile creatures that needed to be wiped off the face of the Earth. 

After the War finally ended, Erik was one of those victims whose file landed on Carewyn’s desk. Recognizing the picture of the boy she’d saved at once, Carewyn immediately took it upon herself to fight on Erik’s behalf in front of the Wizengamot, seeking not just his rightful inheritance of whatever money and assets his parents had left behind in their old bank, but also proper compensation from the Ministry for the wrongful death of his mother. And because Erik had no other living family, Carewyn decided to take the boy in as her ward and to financially support him while he was at Hogwarts. Carewyn’s selfless efforts had an irrevocable impact on Erik, and for the rest of his life, he only ever referred to her as “Ms. Cromwell,” out of the immense respect and admiration he felt for her as both a person and as his guardian.

The Vanishing Intro I

a/n: I got the inspo for such a incident from the “Dark Curse” of abc’s Once Upon a Time and the “Blip” from the Marvel cinematic universe. I do not own Harry Potter and the characters, all rights go to JKR and Warner Bros. Pictures. Only the non-canonical plot was my idea. Summary: Under the threat of defeat, the supporters of the dark lord cast a curse that banishes half of the Wizarding population of the British Isles. No knows where they had gone or how they vanished. But twenty-one years later, the vanished make their return, and the Wizarding world they once knew is no longer the same.

The British Conclave of Magic: The Conclave is the successor of the British Ministry of Magic, and serves as the formal government for the magical species of the British Isles. Closer in resemblance to the Wizard’s Council of old Britain and MACUSA, the Conclave still holds many roots in the British Ministry of Magic. The reformation of the Ministry into the Conclave was a direct result of the British Magical Purge that took place from the years 2000 to 2004.

The current regime of the Conclave is as follows:

British Premier of Magic: Susan Bones (2009-Present)

House of Nobles: Members of this house aid in the advisement of the Premier. Acting as a vice power should the Premier become incapacitated. These members are elected tri-annually by the those in the House of Inquest. They also serve as judges and vote in any high profile criminal trials.

Incumbent House Nobles: Flora Carrow, Fergus Finnigan, Roger Davies, Nymphadora Lupin, Ernest Macmillan, Draco Malfoy, Cormac McLaggen, Graham Montague, Theodore Nott, Mafalda Prewett, Adrian Pucey, Rolf Scammander, Ronald Weasley & Romilda Vane

House of Inquest: The successor of the Wizengamot, all fifty-three members of this house are voted on by the wizarding populace of the isles. The higher the concentration of magical folk in an area, the more seats in the house the area maintains. E.g. Hogsmeade and Cokesworth, being the two largest Wizarding settlements in the isles with sixteen and eleven seats respectively. The house is headed by the Orator, who represents, leads and dictates the decorum of the house in all meetings.

Incumbent Orator of the House: Lord Dennis Prewett, née Creevey.

Department of Magical Law Enforcement: (DMLE) Responsible for upholding the laws set forth by the Conclave. The largest of the departments and all other departments were answerable to this one; the Department of Mysteries were the only exception in certain cases.

Incumbent High Enchantress: Lady Daphne Greengrass

Department of Magical Accidents and Catastrophes: (DMAC) Tasked with the prevention, containment and/or reversal of magical mishaps. It’s main goals currently are protecting the Statute of Secrecy and preventing all muggle interference in the magical community.

Incumbent High Warlock: Roger Davies

Department of International Magical Relations: (DIMR) Serving as the communication between the British Conclave and other magical governments around the world, this department currently focuses on repairing the relationship between Magical Britain and their neighbors in France, Germany and the Nordic Ministries.

Incumbent High Warlock: Lord Theodore Nott

Department for Regulation of Magical Creatures: (DRMC) Dedicated to the restoration, protection and maintaining cooperation amongst the many different magical beings, beasts and spirits of Magical Britain. They work alongside magizoologists and the DMLE to better protect and incorporate the magical species in the British Isles.

Incumbent High Warlock: Rolf Scammander

Department of Magical Transportation: (DMT) In charge of the regulation of transportation services of wizarding Britain. The department became highly regarded following the brief establishment of Rappaport’s Law, because safe transport in and out of the isles became almost impossible during the Purge. Now however, the mass production and regulation of advanced Vanishing Cabinets, and enchanted automobiles have become the new tools of transport.

Incumbent High Enchantress: Romilda Vane

Department of Magical Entertainment: (DME) In control of the proper operation, funding and safe establishment of entertainment sources and events—such as national and international Magical Sports (Quidditch, Wizarding Hockey, Quadpot etc etc.), Magical Cinemas/Theatres and the Magical Music scene. The department rose in popularity following the recognized end of the Purge in the year of 2005, when the Weasley family opened the very first Magical Cinema in Ottery St. Catchpole.

Incumbent High Warlock: Cormac McLaggen

Department of Mysteries: (DMY) The most secretive department, they are dedicated to the gathering of confidential research in the name of furthering the understanding magic. They are the only department not subjected to complete obeisance to the DMLE.

Incumbent Head Unspeakable: Lady Tracey Nott, née Davis

Hogwarts Board of Governors: A group of thirteen wizards and witches that oversaw the maintenance and running of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. They held the power to dictate the curriculum and every day operation of the school.

Incumbent Chairman: Lord Draco Malfoy

British Magical Purge of the 2000s: Commonly referred to as the Great Purge or simply the Purge, the British Magical Purge was a mass witch hunt for witches, wizards and other magical species within Britain by covert sects of the British Muggle Government between 2000-2004.

The hunts were believed to be a retaliatory act by the muggles following the final battle between the Order of the Phoenix and the Impurities; Known by magic-kind as the Battle for London, the battle took place within the old Ministry of Magic, upon the streets of Muggle London as well as in the skies above the city. As her final act of terrorism, Bellatrix Lestrange flooded the Thames river. The sudden flood had already drowned at least two-thousand muggles by the time the order had managed to undo the flood.

The muggle reaction to the flood saw associates of the incumbent Muggle Prime Minister, who secretly knew of Magic, hire mercenaries to begin the Purge: this led to a large scale series of witch hunts and magical massacres, unseen since the time of Salem.

The Purge saw numerous witches, wizards and other beings such as werewolves, vampires, squibs, muggles who married into the magical community, hags, centaurs, merlings, goblins and house elves persecuted, captured and murdered.

In response, the British Conclave was formed out of the ruins of the Ministry. Efforts to maintain the Statute of Secrecy as well as sustaining the already diminished, magical population, the Conclave temporarily adopted the American made “Rappaport’s Law” (an era colloquially called “Rappaport’s Reign). The swift segregation of magical folk from the muggles, and harsh operations of oblivation to those within muggle governments, resulted in a slow, but eventual return of peace within the British magical community.

The Seven Swords of Britain: A term coined by Witch Weekly’s Editor in chief, Lavender Brown, the Seven Swords of Britain are—in accordance to numerous public polls and interviews—the current, seven most influential and prominent wizarding families within the isles.

The recognized families are:

The Esteemed House of Carrow: Headed by Flora Carrow, Flora Carrow is the largest trader of magical foreign goods and a philanthropist, who aided in the refugee crisis following the Calamity of Diagon Alley in 2001. She became the head of her family following the death of her uncle, Amycus Carrow—known Death Eater and Impurity.

Commonly associates with Houses Malfoy and Nott. Though keeps a precarious relationship with other families such as the Montagues and McLaggens.

The Noble and Most Ancient House of Longbottom: A revered member of Dumbledore’s Army and the Order of the Phoenix, Lord Neville Longbottom serves as the current Headmaster of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Through his inheritance as the sole Longbottom heir and his scandalous marriage to Pansy Parkinson, the Longbottoms holds one of the largest wealths in Great Britain. Wealth, that they have been known to spend readily on Hogwarts and numerous charities.

Commonly associates with Houses Lovegood, Macmillan, Parkinson, Patil, Tonks and Weasley. Also viewed as the peacemakers between the feuding Notts & Weasleys.

The Honourable House of Lovegood: Presumed the youngest of the revered families, Luna Lovegood is a well known household name. Current proprietor of the Quibbler—the largest source of news in all of magical Britain and the Lovegood Magical Sanctuary, located on the once disdained isle of Drear. Luna Lovegood married Colin Creevey in 2003. Whereas Luna continues to serve as a magizoologist and newspaper owner, her husband currently works as a professor at Hogwarts.

Commonly associates with the Houses Longbottom and Weasley; as well as the Bones, Creevey, Goldstein and Scammander families. Currently bonded in marriege to House Prewett through her husband’s brother.

The Noble and Most Ancient House of Malfoy: Initially pushed to the outskirts of society following their known patronage of Voldemort, Draco Malfoy returned the honour of his family following his efforts in the defense of Diagon Alley during its Calamity. The Malfoy’s are also recognized as a large benefactor to Sinestra’s Sanatorium for Magical Maladies.

Commonly associates with Houses Carrow, Greengrass and Weasley. Bonded in marriage to the Weasleys through the Greengrass sisters, their relationship is cordial at best.

The Honourable House of McLaggen: Cormac McLaggen is fatefully remembered for his efforts in maintaining the Statute of Secrecy through numerous Obliviation Operations in 2002-2006. Though not as wealthy as the Malfoys, Notts or Weasleys, the McLaggen’s wealth is enough to shoulder the funding for his current office as head of the Department of Magical Entertainments: Sports, Cinemas and Music.

Commonly associates with the Davies, Brown and Wood families. Also, highly supports the Notts when in opposition to the Weasley-Greengrass-Malfoy political block.

The Noble and Most Ancient House of Nott: Lord Theodore Nott and Lady Tracey Nott née Davis are respected as two of the most prominent members of the Conclave—Lord Theodore serving as High Warlock of the Conclave’s Department of International Magical Relations and Lady Tracey as the head Unspeakable for the British Department of Mysteries. The Nott family are also referred to by the epithet “The Lords of Trent” due to their ownership of a large fraction of land near Nottingham.

Commonly associates with the House of Carrow and freely indulges with other families such as Davies, Brown, Macmillan, Montague, Pucey, and Vane.

The Noble and Most Ancient House of Weasley: Perhaps the most desirable of families, Lord Ronald Weasley is most fantastically recognized for bringing a formal end of the Second Wizarding War after he successfully dueled and defeated Bellatrix Lestrange and the Impurities in the Battle for London. Through his marriage to Daphne Greengrass, his acquisition of the Black and Prewett family fortunes, and his successful production of a philosopher’s stone, Lord Ronald had become a large benefactor for the reconstruction of Magical Britain as a whole.

Commonly associates with Houses Longbottom and Lovegood. Hold close ties to families such the Bones, Delacours, Jordans, Spinnets, Thomas, Tonks and Woods. Tied by blood to the Houses of Black and Prewett and bonded in marriage to Houses Greengrass, Malfoy and the Creevey Family—an by extension, the Lovegoods as well.

Recognized for his efforts in the Second Wizarding War against Lord Voldemort, defeating Bellatrix Lestrange in the Battle for London and his continued relief and philanthropic efforts throughout the British Magical Purge 2000-2004. Careers includes being a fellow member of the House of Nobles, former Hit-Wizard for the British Conclave of Magic, former steward for the Noble and Most Ancient Houses of Black & Prewett, renowned Alchemist & possessor of a philosopher’s stone, proprietor of the following: Weasleys’ Wizard Wheezes (WWW) & the Chudley Cannons Quidditch Team, co-proprietor for Dame’s Wizarding Bank and known benefactor to the Lovegood Magical Sanctuary and Sinestra’s Sanatorium for Magical Maladies.

—— Lady Daphne Greengrass; wife to Ronald Weasley. Eldest daughter of the late Lord Cassius Greengrass and Lady Bianca Greengrass née Este. Born May 19, 1980. Current head of the House of Greengrass, and consort of the House of Weasley. A revered and cherished witch of her generation, and known for relief efforts throughout the British Magical Purge, she once served as a Hit-Wizard and was part of the Muggle Obliviation Squad (2003-2007). Proprietor of Greengrass Solutions—largest domestic farmer/supplier for British apothecaries since 1514. Current member of the House of Inquest and serves as High Enchantress of the Department of Magical Law Enforcement (DMLE).

——— Celia Greengrass; first child of Lord Ronald Weasley and Lady Daphne Greengrass. Born June 21st, 2003. The eldest of Ronald’s and Daphne’s triplets, she was named the heiress to the House of Greengrass. She was sorted into Slytherin House and is a proficient potionneer.

——— Serena Weasley; second child of Lord Ronald Weasley and Lady Daphne Greengrass. Born June 21st, 2003. The middle child of the triplets, she was sorted into Ravenclaw House and has deep love for music and aspires to become a musician.

——— Septimus Weasley; third child of Lord Ronald Weasley and Lady Daphne Greengrass. Born June 21st, 2003. The youngest of the triplets as well as Ronald’s and Daphne’s only son, he is set to inherit the Weasley family fortune. He was sorted into Hufflepuff House and is excellent with enchanting items.

——— Clarissa Weasley; the fourth and youngest child of Lord Ronald Weasley and Lady Daphne Greengrass. Born March 1st, 2015. Has deep desires to be a professional dueler.

Lady Muriel Prewett {Deceased}; the former head of the House of Prewett, maternal Great-Great Grand aunt to Lord Ronald. She informally adopted him as her own following the Vanishing, which took his parents, siblings and closest friends.

Alexander Prewett {Deceased}; the secret love child of a young Lady Muriel and Corban Yaxley Sr., he was born a squib and left for America following his disownment. He would later return with his muggle wife and witch daughter Mafalda during the British Magical Purge.

Lady Mafalda Prewett; current Head of the House of Prewett, she was mentored and tutored by Lord Ronald, and became a pseudo sibling for him. She currently serves in the House of Nobles for the British Conclave of Magic, and is the founder and co-proprietor of Dame’s Wizarding Bank—the only bank for Wizarding Britain following Gringotts destruction in the Calamity of Diagon Alley.

Lord Dennis Prewett née Creevey; Lord consort to the House of Prewett, one of the highest stationed muggleborn wizards in the Conclave. Currently serves as Orator for the House of Inquest in the Conclave. He is the younger brother to Colin Lovegood née Creevey.

Alexandra Prewett; current heir and only child of Lady Mafalda and Lord Dennis. Close in age and confidante of her cousin Clarissa Weasley.

Lady Andromeda Tonks née Black {Deceased}; Related through Lord Ronald’s paternal grandmother—Cedrella Weasley née Black—Andromeda was a close friend and supporter. As one of the last potential heirs to the Black Family Fortune, she naturally held influence over much of the older generations of stranded wizardkind. She initially survived the Vanishing but was later murdered by her sister Bellatrix Lestrange during the Impurity’s Rampage of 1999.

Edward Tonks; Widower of the late Lady Andromeda, he was saved from his imprisonment at Malfoy Manor by Draco Malfoy, who defected to the Order of the Phoenix. He would later work with the Conclave and the Order to protect the persecuted Muggleborns during the purge on magic. He currently serves as the Head of Hufflepuff House, as well as the Muggle Studies Professor

Nymphadora Lupin née Tonks; Widowed due to her husband’s—Remus Lupin—vanishing, Nymphadora eventually halted her auror career in favor of a relaxed term as a member of the House of Nobles. Following Lord Ronald’s acquisition of the Black Family Fortune, he intended to grant the entirety to the Tonks-Lupin family, but Nymphadora refused, instead gifting half to her son and the other to Lord Ronald. She, along with her father and son reside as the owners and keepers of 12 Grimmauld Place, the ancestral seat of the former House of Black.

Edward Lupin; son to Nymphadora Lupin née Tonks and the vanished Remus Lupin. A known metamorphmagus like his mother, he is currently slated to inherit the remaining half of the Black family fortune.

Lord Draco Malfoy; also a member of the House of Black maternally, Lord Draco and Lord Ronald’s relationship is mostly held up by their wives being loving sisters—and all wizards know not to anger their spouse. He currently serves in the Conclave as a member of the House of Nobles, as well as the Chairman of the Reformed Board of Governors for Hogwarts.

Lady Astoria Malfoy née Greengrass; the younger sister to Daphne Greengrass, Lady Astoria holds a great relationship with her sister and can typically handle the bickering her husband and brother in law indulge in. She works as the General Manager of Greengrass Solutions, the factory and farm owned by the Greengrass family for more than five centuries.

Scorpius Malfoy; current heir and only son of Lord Draco and Lady Astoria. He looks up to his Greengrass-Weasley cousins.

Lyra Malfoy; youngest child and only daughter of Lord Draco and Lady Astoria, she is close in age to Clarissa Weasley and one of her closest confidantes.

The problem I’m having currently (and yes, there are So Many to choose from, but this one is at the top of the queue as of this moment) is that in the fic I’m working on, which, as always, I’m doing Too Much Research For, I’ve been going down this academic hole about badgers (omg there is a badger emoji I’m dying🦡 ) in like, ~900-1000s, mostly in Anglo-Saxon areas, but also Wales, Celto-Roman, etc.
