it's actually really funny that no one accused Loki of forcing those actors to put on a play about himself after Thor 3 as if that's the only type of show they put on now, at threat of death. Thor 4 retroactively confirmed that the actors are passionate about their jobs and plain enjoy playing the characters but wild no one considered beyond 'he's a diva' or 'he was subtly funding the arts and improving cultural outlook on other races'

getting that note out reminded me of yet another reason our last roommates were, just... the worst

their ornery and constantly-in-pain senior cat pissed on the bag that had that note in it

and all they had to say for it was 'well, we told you she was territorial 🤷'

thankfully the note itself survived, but i had to nearly shred the envelope it was in just to get it out, which of course has my name written on it

and then kept it in a baggie with baking soda, then cat litter, for what has now been two and a half years and ONLY NOW is the smell finally gone

At the risk of providing Discourse Ammunition to People What I Generally Disagree With i do actually suspect that whoever wrote that There Is Only One Bed Tablecloth Blanket scene did just forget about the Frost Giant thing. (It's easily handwavedthough and very much the sort of thing where when someone points out your mistake you'd go "but it's a good scene so, fuck it, it stays.")

But I think they did (perhaps eventually?) remember that the Lokis should have been bright blue if magic doesn't work in the TVA but given what seems to be very deliberate efforts to tone down the supervillain visuals (replacing the Finest Asgardian Pleather Fetishwear with a nice shirt and tie, etc) that was ruled out as an option and lacking a simple one-line explanation for why Magic Doesn't Work Except That Bit Of Magic Does it was just left unaddressed, with the assumption that any viewer who cares enough to be bothered by it is capable of coming up with their own explanation.
