I have never before spent an incredibly brutal fight scene just laughing the entire time. The Violent Night hardcore-Santa movie is a masterpiece. The humour is good and the music choices really bring it all together. Highly recommend if you don’t mind fake blood and a bit of gross humour at the start. No I don’t care that it’s past Christmas.

Also Trudie is a gem. I love her.

Working together with Glen has been nothing short of a dream, and to be working as a lead in a romantic comedy alongside him is the cherry on top. You have been working hard to earn your footing in Hollywood, and this will be your first major role, which only makes it much more special to be working with your celebrity crush.

However, you don't know that he's harboring the same feelings for you, but he's scared to admit it. While he's open to falling in love, he never expected to find it in you - a sweet, soft-spoken girl who has stolen his heart from day one. He never used to believe in love at first sight, but that all changed when he met you. Your shared moments on set, the laughter you've shared, and the way he looks at you when he thinks you're not looking, all these things have made his feelings for you undeniable.

Glen has invited every member of the filming cast and crew to a barbecue and pool party at his house in Austin, and everyone's having a great time. Still, all you can focus on is Glen, his ridiculously delicious hairy chest, and his beautiful smile, which lights up his features.

"Are you even listening to me, or are you too busy drooling over Glen again?" you suddenly hear a woman say, and it's only then that you're snapped back to reality.

"I- uhm- Sorry. My mind was somewhere else," you admit shyly, and just when you look away, Glen looks over at you, but you don't notice. A wave of disappointment washes over him as his attempts to catch your eye fail - he hasn't been able to stop thinking about them for the longest time - but he's run out of luck.

"Why don't you just go up to her and tell her how you feel?!" Glen's trainer says, and Glen turns a deep shade of red at the thought.

"I- No! There's nothing to tell," he says with a bit of a grumble, but it's pretty clear to anyone but the two of you how the other feels. The chemistry between you two practically jumps out of the screen when you're working together, and while everyone's well aware it's because of your mutual pining, they also wish you two would get it over with. And that same night, it finally happens.

The pool party finished a while ago, and you and Glen are seated on a large couch he has in his backyard, cuddled under a soft, warm blanket as it's getting rather chilly, while watching the stars. The twinkling lights above you reflect in his deep, brown eyes, and the cool breeze ruffles his hair. He's sipping on a beer while you're enjoying a soda, and it's the perfect ending to a fun day.

"Can I tell you something?" Glen asks out of nowhere, and your heart starts to beat faster as he pulls you closer. You hum in response, your eyes closed to enjoy the moment for as long as possible - waiting for the moment he'll tell you that he's in love with someone other than yourself.

"I- I fucking love you, and that scares the hell out of me!" he blurts out, and you immediately sit upright, your eyes shooting open as your gaze meets his. A deep red blush covers his face and creeps down his neck as he confesses his love for you in a way he never would have envisioned. His voice trembles with fear and anticipation, and his eyes are filled with a mix of hope and dread.

"Y- You love me?" you ask, and he looks at the beer in his hands as he nods. He knows he won't be able to look at you as you reject him, but he couldn't be more surprised at the words that he hears next.

"Can you look at me, Glen? Because I have to tell you something, too," you say, and he does after sighing and gathering all his courage. Once his eyes are focused on yours, you're getting lost in the green of his irises, and they remind you of so many beautiful memories you've shared.

"I love you too, Glen. I'm in love with you. I have been for years now, as you have been my celebrity crush for as long as I can remember. You're very kind, and there's something special about you. I enjoy spending time with you, and never get bored when I'm around you-" is all you can say before you're cut off mid-sentence.

The warmth of Glen's palm radiates through your entire body as it cups your cheek, and the softness of his lips makes your nerves feel like they're on fire. Your hands land on his hairy chest, your fingers reveling in the feeling of its coarseness underneath them. And most of all, you're getting lost in his taste.

The beer he's been sipping combined with something so him has your mind going into overdrive, and when he pulls away, you can't help but smile like a teenager who just had their first kiss. You lock eyes with him and see the shimmer in them that you've fallen for. The shimmer that lets you know he's happy and that he's in love with you. One that's only visible when he's around the woman he loves: You.

I Know You…Or Do I?

Note: i always thought that vernon would be such a friends to lovers guy and 2 minus 1 solidified that so here i present to you how i think a first kiss with this guy would go, enjoy!

it is clear to anybody who has known vernon for longer than one minute that he’s a bit…on a peculiar side. that wasn’t an insult, but rather a truth acknowledged by a wider audience.

you, of course, knew what was an usual and an unusual behaviour coming from him. this skill didn’t come up all that easily to you, but rather from knowing him since you were but an infant. you both had your mothers to thank for that, considering that their own history goes years beyond your births.

knowing someone for that long of a period is certainly admirable. you’ve always looked up to your mom’s and auntie melody’s friendship, ever since you were a child.

but now, you are an adult yourself, with your own decades long friendship.

you could confidently say that you knew vernon better than the back of your hand. so, as already mentioned, you know what’s usual and unusual for him, even though everything about him is a bit unusual.

for example, for usual behaviours we have his weird thoughts that he would message you at 2am, his weird food combos and his weird way of texting that nobody really gets except you and sofia, his angel sister that you love (sometimes more than him), to name a few.

for unusual behaviours we have the fidgeting when he’s nervous, getting unusually quiet (i mean, sure, he’s more on the quieter side as it is but…there’s just certain times when his quiet is just…off, yknow), trying to hide himself behind you in uncomfortable situations and not answering your messages for longer than 15 minutes.

oh, and kissing you out of the nowhere in your kitchen for the very first time to thank you for getting him his favourite snacks, apparently.

you’re not very sure if this has really happened or if you maybe accidentally did coke and this is just a weird hallucination as a side effect, but it got you so shocked to you just stood there, in your kitchen, with his favourite cookies in hand that you started to unpack and put on a plate before he waltzed in.

see, the reason why this is a really big problem and why it got your heart beating faster than a a racing car is because you have had the biggest crush on your best friend since you were 13. and you did such a good job at hiding your feelings and acting normal around him, even when you wanted nothing more to kiss those plush and soft lips of his.

and now it will all go to waste because how do you go back from this? how do you go back to being his friend now that you know how his lips taste, how soft they are and how much it makes your heart race?

see, you were always under the impression that, other than your friendship, vernon wanted nothing more from you. it seemed like he was perfectly okay with just having you as his platonic partner in crime.

or apparently f*cking not.

after another few second, you quickly finish platting the cookies and go back to the living room, where he’s sat, watching the movie he picked, without a care in the world.

you sit a respectful distance away from him, just watching him watch the movie, apparently feeling perfectly fine.

if only you knew.

with what must sound like the tone of a dead person, you more-so inform him “you’ve kissed me.”

the beautiful bastard has the audacity to not even turn his head in your direction, he just answers “i did”.

pondering over all the possible reasons as to why he did it, you gulp, and with all the courage left in your body, you hopefully ask him “do you like me?”

his answer makes you want to punch him…with your lips against his own, either very aggressively or very gently.

snorting, he answers “have for the last 10 years, thanks for finally noticing.”

you don’t give him any time to prepare or to see it coming for that matter-as soon as the last word leaves his mouth, you are pouncing on him, arms going around his neck, lips colliding with his, clumsily, at first, until you find your balance and climb on his lap.

it is clear that he both didn’t expect you to pounce on him like a wild animal and that he has been waiting for this moment for a very long time.

because as soon as your knees are on both sides of his hips, he’s wrapping his arms around your waist, pulling you as close as the universe will allow him to and kissing you back like a starved man, like he’s dying and you’re the only antidote that could save him.

your hands finally-finally-sink into his silky soft brown hair, scratching his scalp to see how he would react.

and his reaction doesn’t disappoint-he immediately groans in your mouth, his hands starting to wonder themselves, squeezing your thighs before they travel over your butt, over your back all the way to the nape of your neck, pulling your head closer to his so he can deepen the kiss.

your own arms tighten around his neck, your bodies so close that there isn’t a single part of your body that isn’t touching his. your thoughts are both running and are nonexistent. thinking “finally, this is all i’ve ever wanted to know-the taste of his lips and the strength of his love”, but at the same time, your mind is nowhere to be found, it’s probably floating somewhere between the cotton candy soft clouds.

after many minutes, your kiss turns from hungry and rushed to intimate, soft and tender, until it eventually comes to a stop, your noses still touching, foreheads leaning on each other.

in what must be the softest whisper you ever heard him speak in, vernon says “took you long enough”.

you lightly pinch his cheek and smile “could say the same thing to you. been waiting since we were 13 for you to finally get your head out of your ass and kiss me.”

his heavy eyes fall on your mouth, inviting him to get himself lost in them again “well, the good thing is that now that i finally did, i don’t plan on ever stopping”.

and he never did.

as it turns out, you didn’t know him as well as you thought you did-there were still some things you had yet to find out about him. luckily, his kiss was officially off that list.

She swung across the rooftops, eager to get home and take a shower before cuddling up on the sofa to watch a movie with her boyfriend. Jason had started running a little cold after, well, literally dying, so she always used that as an excuse to curl up with him under the blankets. She rubbed her arm as she landed on top of GCPD, the appendage still sore from where she’d gotten hit earlier.

“Slow down, sweetheart,” Jason called out to her, his voice low and thick as he landed beside her. “We’re not being chased by anyone.” She sighed, trying to relax, and turned to face him, sliding her hands along his chest appreciatively.

“I know, I just …” Her eyes flickered up to his and she grinned before wrapping him up in a hug. “I just want to go home and cuddle up with you! My cute little boyfriend!”

“What the hell?” Jason chuckled, his hands coming around her waist to gently pry her off of him. He wasn’t ‘cute’ - and most definitely not ‘little’. She shot him a mischievous smile - the one that made his heart start thudding in his chest - and he rolled his eyes before turning her around.

“Why don’t we just … take a moment to enjoy the view?” he suggested, guiding her over to the railing surrounding the rooftop. “It’s such a beautiful night.” He stood behind her as she gazed up at the night sky, his hard chest pressing into her back as she admired the way the stars twinkled in the dark. He was right: it was a beautiful night, with her super hot boyfriend - she should take advantage of the brief respite. She turned back around to face him, to slide her hands up his hard muscles and- She couldn’t move. Why couldn’t she move? Oh. Because he’d frickin’ handcuffed her to the rooftop of the effing GCPD building! What the hell?!

“Jason,” she began slowly, trying to keep her voice steady as she tugged on the handcuffs. What the hell was he trying to accomplish?! “What are you doing?” Jason grinned as he took off his helmet and set it aside.

“I am showing you …” He straightened to remove his jacket, shrugging the sleeves off and draping it over his helmet, “... how a real interrogation works.”

Shit! He couldn’t be serious! Could he? Then again, this was the same guy who’d come up with a whole elaborate revenge plan to get back at the Batman after he’d failed to save him from The Joker. So maybe he really wasn’t joking.

“Jason, this isn’t funny,” she insisted, her heart picking up speed in her chest. “Can’t we just do this at home?” He chuckled at her suggestion.

“You don't usually get to interrogate criminals in a comfortable environment, sweetheart,” he informed her casually. His pupils dilated as he watched himself trace his knife over the smooth dips and curves of her body and he licked his lips hungrily.

“Jason, we’re on a f*cking rooftop!” she hissed at him, trying to keep her voice low enough that no one in their vicinity would come to investigate and find them in such a compromising situation. “In the middle of Gotham frickin’ City! What the hell?!”

She didn’t swear much, his sweet girlfriend, so it was always a bit of a shock to hear the vulgarities drip out of her mouth. It was funny, he thought to himself as he appraised her beautiful little body, how badly he’d fallen in love with her when they were so different from one another. Well, that was probably why he’d fallen in love with her in the first place, he supposed, trying to figure out where he wanted to start tonight. He tucked his knife back into his pocket and began unbuckling her belt, ignoring her frustrated protests as he set it aside. She was just so sweet and innocent and it thrilled him whenever he managed to bring out her naughty side. He gripped her chin in his hand, bringing his mouth close to hers. Then he smirked at her. “I’m just trying to help you, sweetheart. Right?”

She glared up at him, her almond-shaped eyes wide and pretty as her rosy lips twisted into a pout. F*ck, she was beautiful, all spread out for him just like this. He couldn’t wait to torture her.

X fiddled with her handcuffs again, trying to come up with a way to get herself out of this situation - they were on the f*cking rooftop of the f*cking Gotham police station, for f*ck’s sake! What if Gordon walked in on them?! Or worse yet - Bruce?! She bent and rotated her wrists, trying to reach up one of her sleeves to pull out the lock picks she kept stashed there for situations just like this. It was too bad he hadn’t cuffed her hands together - it would have been so much easier for her otherwise. But he probably knew that, given the hundreds of times he’d found her chained up in some uncomfortable position, Damian chasing away anyone who tried to help her until she could pick a lock in her sleep. Jason let her go and pulled his knife back out again, tracing the tip of the blade over the seams in her suit.

“So tell me, darlin’,” he finished, his voice a lazy drawl as he admired her body, so perfectly outlined by her tight little suit, “how long were you planning that little stunt you pulled the other night?” X furrowed her brows, pretending to act confused - even as her lips started to curl at the ends.

“What stunt?” Jason shook his head at the fake note of naivete in her voice. But he had to admit that she was cute when she looked at him like that, curly eyelashes fluttering up at him, pretty lips rounded in confusion.

“Don't play dumb with me, sweetheart,” he warned her, twisting the tip of his knife in the collar of her shirt. “I know you too well for that.” He bent over to press a kiss to her cheek, his knife threatening her against moving as he brushed his lips down her neck.

“I'm not lying, Jace!” she insisted, her voice going up a pitch as she started to get more alarmed. “I just got carried away, that's all!” Maybe if she made herself seem really helpless, he'd feel bad and let her go. And then try to make up for it after. How long would she be able to hold this over his head?

Jason laughed, his breath blowing away the loose strands of hair around her face.

“‘Carried away’?” he repeated incredulously, pressing the tip of his knife harder against the fabric at her collarbone. “Somehow, I'm just not buying that, sweetheart.” He straightened, pulling back from her slightly, a knowing look on his face.

“You may have everyone else fooled, but I know you better than that,” he continued, bending over her again to murmur in her ear. “And you know me. So you know how far I'm ready to take this, sweetheart.” And then he dragged his knife down the centre of her suit, ripping it in half. She gasped, horrified: how the hell was she supposed to get home now? With her breasts flying all over the place?! Ugh! He was so infuriating! She definitely wasn't going to give into him now.

“Jason!” she hissed, curling into herself to try to shield some of her exposed chest. “What the freakin’ hell?! I only thought of the damn idea the day before! When I asked you to help me!”

He pulled his eyes up from where they had been running all over her breasts, her perky little tits so round and soft in front of him. “The day before was just a reminder, sweetheart: you'd already asked me a few days before that.”

“Baby,” he began gently, brushing his lips softly against hers. She sighed at the feeling and tilted her head back, her eyelids fluttering shut as she waited for him to kiss her. “How dumb do you think I am?”

Her eyes flew open again as he straightened and shoved his knife back in his pocket. He sighed as he looked back up at her again, shaking his head with disappointment.

“Has no one ever told you how obvious your tells are?” he informed her, leaning over her again, one hand reaching up to tuck her hair behind her ear. “Honestly, I'm surprised you've managed to keep your identity a secret for this long.”

He flashed her a crooked grin, the one that made her stomach start flipping over and her heart start fluttering like crazy. “Good thing you've got your big, strong boyfriend to protect you, hmm?”

He bent over to brush his lips along her cheek, then nipped at her ear before trailing his mouth down her neck. He was insane, her boyfriend was actually insane. She pulled at her restraints, the metal rattling with her desperate attempts to break free.

“Jason! What the hell!” she scolded him, furious now. She'd probably need someone else to protect her from her big, strong boyfriend at this rate! He nibbled on the soft spot between her neck and her shoulder, then pulled back to admire her, his tongue running across his lips at the sight of her exposed breasts. He bent over to press his lips to them, licking and sucking on them gently, soft moans escaping from his mouth as he played with each of her breasts in turn. Shit, he was good.

“Tell me how long you were planning it,” he mumbled, pulling one of her nipples into his mouth and sucking on it hard before letting it go. “Look who’s finally awake.” Loona scoffed from the doorway.

“Sweetie!” Blitzø almost pushed Stolas off the bed as he turned and threw his arms wide gesturing to Loona to come and give him a hug.

He deflated and pouted.

Octavia popped her head in beside her.

“Via!” Stolas squawked.

The girls watched their dads, smiled smugly, and crossed their arms in unison.

Blitzø looked over, raising an eyebrow.

“What’s up with you two? You’re looking like the Grady twins right now… Creeping me out.” He pursed his lips.

Loona snorted. Octavia scrunched her face, confused. She looked at Loona quizzically.

Loona leaned down and whispered something to her.

“We haven’t watched that one have we?” Octavia responded.

Loona shook her head. “You don’t like horrors.”

“Hmmm.” Octavia rubbed her chin looking thoughtful.

Blitzø clasped his hands together up by his face and batted his eyelashes at the girls. His eyes were huge and sparkling, like an anime kitten.

“F*cking right we are.” Loona grinned.

Stolas looked between the three of them, pursing his lips.

“Mmhmmm.” He sounded incredibly skeptical.

They all looked at Stolas and burst out laughing.

He blushed and fluffed, stamping his foot indignantly. The display only fueled their laughter.

He puffed his cheeks indignantly.

“Aw. Stols.” Blitzø tried to swallow his laughter. He reached out to take his hand.

“HMF.” Stolas threw his beak in the air, crossed his arms and stomped out of the room, brushing past their daughters in a regal huff.

Blitzø’s face fell, he stuck his lip out and pouted.

Loona rolled her eyes and pushed off the door frame. Octavia followed close behind as Loona walked over to Blitzø’s bedside.

“Don’t worry.” Octavia said. “He likes to be dramatic sometimes.”

Blitzø looked up at her with worry in his eyes.

“He’s not really that upset.” Octavia smiled reassuringly. “Just let him be a drama queen for a while. He’ll get over it.”

Blitzø looked at Loona. She gave him a little nod and wink.

Blitzø turned back to Octavia and smiled sadly.

“You guys are fine.” Octavia waved him off. “My dad’s just a f*cking baby sometimes.”

“Via!” Blitzø gasped, feigning horror. “Language!” He grinned behind his hands.

Octavia flipped him off.

They all burst out laughing; laughing until their sides hurt.

WHEN I TELL YOU THAT I LOVE EVERYTHING ABOUT DISNEY'S ELEMENTAL💧🔥 OH MY GOD!!🥹😭❤️

The gif doesn't do it justice, but the animation was absolutely stunning!! The attention to detail!! The way the creators used science to not only personify the elements, but also made them accurate in how they react to each other!? Beautiful!! 🥹 So well done!!

Just LOOK at how beautiful this one snippet from the movie is!! This is a beautiful flower that blooms in her presence (if you haven't seen the movie, you can't understand the significance of said flower and how impactful the scene really is but ugh my heart!🔥)

Again, the DETAILS!! What I kept noticing was the preferred clothing choices worn by Ember and Wade, they are suited to the elements that they are and if that doesn't show how much thought went into this movie!! 🙌

THIS WHOLE SCENE RIGHT HERE IS MY FAVORITE FROM THE WHOLE MOVIE!!!! Ember overcame her fear because Wade trusted her and was willing to risk it all!! When they realize that they CAN work, this was me -> 🫠😭🥹 SO F*CKING BEAUTIFUL!!!!! Wade's water is able to tempur Ember's fire, which is why, against all the odds, they are able to touch!! If your heart didn't brighten in their small moment of happiness... well you're wrong (Not really, not everyone likes the same thing, but come one🥹).

Wade is absolute boyfriend material and the greenest of any green flag I've ever seen in a movie!! So so sweet!! Elemental is one of the best animated films I've seen in AWHILE!! Kudos to the directors and producers of this gorgeous film about how love can overcome impossible odds!!🔥💧❤️🥰🫠

So...apparently people online decided to HATE the animation of wish saying "It lOoKs UgLy" or "It lOoKs uNfInIsHed" to just dissing on the animators who worked REALLY hard on this movie...(which is so disrespectful...)

ok so the animators and the directors behind wish said they where inspired by sleeping beauty 's "water colour" art style(even though sleeping beauty never even used water colour...) they also took inspiration from water colour paintings in general for the backgrounds and used 3d animation for the models.Like I said in my previous post I thought the animation of wish was really ✨BEAUTIFUL✨(and I was absolutely OBSESSED with the backgrounds...😭) I also liked how it was like a moving painting with a bit of 3d...sure the animation was not as ground breaking as Spider man across the spiderverse 🕷(love that movie btw)

But it still had a lot love ❤and heart put into the movie with a lot of talented people and with A LOT of different stories to tell and share with all of us for years to come...one way or another

My honest opinion of Mean Girls (2024)

Even though nobody asked for it.

If you are familiar with the Broadway Musical, and you are expecting this to be a movie version of the Broadway Musical, you will be disappointed. However, it is a wonder modern remake featuring songs from the Broadway Musical.

Renee Rapp is perfect and I love her. She can do no wrong.

Aaron Samuels could have been better, but I was initially glad they didn’t just go for a “White Boy of the the Month” type. (I was informed after the fact that he is in fact a “White Boy of the Month” I just haven’t seen TSITP.)

Song wise Apex Predator, Sexy, Revenge Party, World Burn, and Rather Be Me we’re fantastic, overall beautiful execution. However they did cut some of my favourite songs, and put in new ones instead.

The songs they did keep were changed a bit to have a more “2020s “ vibe, instead of the “Y2K/2010s” Broadway vibe that they originally had.

Loved the little cameos.

Full of queer representation (gender & sexuality) as well as BIPOC representation. I even noticed some of the background/extras had visible disabilities which is amazing.

There are a couple iconic/notable lines from the OG versions that were changed for - I’m assuming - political correctness, but they were done in a way that didn’t change the intentions.

Queer icons Janice (forget her last name too lazy to google it) is played by Actual F*cking Disney Princess Icon MOANA herself!!! And I personally think that is a slay and a power move.

TL;DR Overall great movie, 7.5/10 would recommend and will watch again 👍🏼

Here are some of my fav LIs from each season of litg (we all have different and similar opinions, please be respectful)

•S1: Jake and Talia. Jake was a slow burn but really did care for Mc and was just afraid to show it until last minute, coupled up with him the moment I had a chance, plus when Cherrygate happened… Jake put a protective arm around you as you walked away from your current partner. Talia is so gorgeous and thoughtful, when my Mc was coupled up with Mason, him and Levi started getting into it and Talia told them to stop swinging their dicks and made sure my Mc was ok. I of course replayed it and took the Talia route 😊 have not regretted it.

•S2: BOBBY!! No words can explain when my s2 Mc and him just meshed together. Literally so thoughtful, kind, loving and funny. He really was head over heels for Mc in the end and really cared for his friends! When drama would happen, he would be the first to try fix things together.

•S3: Harry and AJ. Harry is cute looking and I love his backstory of his family basically saying he is adopted and he has two other siblings (I think, it’s been awhile and I of course am not able to replay it) he explains he such a good brother and his old t-shirt looked kind of cute on my Mc. AJ gives off golden retriever energy and she’s so beautiful! Her style is beyond stunning and playing her route was heart warming for me.

•S4: Youcef. Now towards the end of the season I realized I’m a sucker for slow burns. At first I thought he and Bruno were ugly when they showed up in the hot tub date. But as we got to see more of his personality somewhere in between… I had to make my Mc couple up with him. But seriously… fusebox did him REALLY dirty. I remember someone saying this… every time he smiles he looks like he’s in pain. He kind of does tbh. I love his personality but he could have looked better. Also playing his route is the sweetest and the only time you are on track with his route is when you say honesty is the best policy when talking with Tiffany, Bruno and him.

•S5: now f*ck this season! My Mc coupled up with Suresh and took her f*cking money because screw that season. Worst season ever.

•S6: Lewie, Bella and Andy. Lewie is major Golden Retriever energy, I just find him so attractive that I made my Mc immediately coupled with him right away, he just wants everyone to get along and when things go south I think his Captain instincts kick in and try to keep the vibes going. Bella is the most patient woman ever in all the seasons, she literally waited for Mc. She’s just so out of this world too! Her smile is just… UGHHH I WAS SO IN LOVE THAT I HAD TO DO HER ROUTE TOO!! WORTH IT! Now Andy, he was the most popular casa boy this season, I mean look at him! How can anyone resist his smile? And his little prank you see if you brought him back to the main villa on movie night and his little dance, ugh my heart. (I had to play the Ryan route so I wouldn’t have felt guilty for leaving Lewie to be dumped) and he works with animals, I love animals!!

•S7: Joyo. This season wasn’t really worth it since it lost all its excitement after Mc went into the main villa. Joyo immediately caught my eye so I stayed loyal and now I’m replaying for a Raphael route.

•S8: Claudia, Bea and Max. Claudia is so gorgeous AND SHE DESERVED MY MC MORE THAN THEO. My opinion on Theo was that he was still a playboy and disrespected Claudia by trying to flirt with my Mc, like Theo I don’t want you, I want your girl you are not treating correctly. Bea is so gorgeous and if you aren’t on her route, she’s literally your best friend and you get the option to have a little date with her when you guys are in casa together. As I am writing this, I notice that I’m a huge sucker for golden retriever vibes. Max’s color yellow def suits him! Adorable and I found it funny when he pied off your last LI (in my case, it was Jin) and basically showed he wouldn’t back down just because Mc and the last LI had history.

•S9: I have no opinions so far on my favorites but Natasha be looking like she could be a bit of me. She’s beautiful. I just hope Fusebox brings back people from later seasons and people we weren’t able to romance at all. Like being Eddie back, he did not deserve to go and how he experienced love island. I want him to have a chance with my Mc this season.

Bucky F*cking Dent Review: David Duchovny Hits a Home Run

Though it takes place within the familiar thematic ground of terminal illness and fathers and sons, that willingness to take emotional risks, alongside the finely-drawn characters and beautiful performances, makes Bucky F*cking Dent a deeply lovely movie. His first film may have been a dud, but 20 years later, Duchovny the writer/director has finally proven himself a force to be reckoned with.

SPOILERS for Spider-Man:Across The Spiderverse

Shout-out to Across the Spiderverse for being one of (if not) the first marvel property to just flat-out say FUCK CANNON.

I’ve recently happened upon the revelation that cannon is fucking stupid when you really get a grasp of the concept, so just accept whatever you want to be cannon as cannon. Frankly, that has been the most liberating feelings as a comic book fan. It’s the pilot run, whatever stays mainstream enough, and whatever else you think is cool. So to a comic movie, to see Spider-Man say that is incredibly vindicating.

“Oh what? There’s always supposed to be a dead police-captain in Spider-Man’s life? Fuck you, Pavitr and Miles don’t need that shit. Oh, Gwen is the girl that always dies? Go to hell, she’s a trans-girl in a spidey-suit here. Oh the spot is a joke villain? Nah you trippin, this man is a menace to the fabric of space and time. You corpos ain’t writers, we are.” Nothin’ but respect for these guys . They made the sequel to the best comic-book movie a meta-commentary on comics as a whole.

Lemme try to explain: Miles has two antagonists in this movie, one of them is Spot (clearly), and one of them is the very concept of comic-purists themselves. When Miles decides to save Pavitr’s police Captain, Miguel throws a fucking fit. And when Miles goes out of his way to rescue his dad, the spiderverse conglomerate just goes ape-shit. Hell, Miguel slams him into the roof of a moving train just because he didn’t turn into the prowler like he was allegedly supposed to. By the time he escapes, Miguel has those sketch-lines Spot has, his eyes are red as blood, and the blue in his suit is just black.

Everything that can happen with something as malleable as comics is wonderful, but purists would rather keep it boring and organized for the sake of arbitrary what-ifs. Miles is out f*cking with bad-asses like Hobie, Pavitr, and Gwen. Meanwhile, Miguel chooses f*cking Ben Riley from that convoluted mess that is the Clone Saga. This move even writes him as the epitome of how 90′s comics were up their own ass that he is (and having him be voiced by Andy Samberg was absolutely the right choice).

This couldn’t have come at a more perfect time, with Zeb Welles just taking a blowtorch to everything we liked about the character right now. While Marvel busy trying to push the Parker luck to the furthest extreme, most everyone that I’ve met have all subscribed to the universe where Peter and MJ have a daughter instead of being cucked by some ship-dit named Paul. Either way, the beauty of comics is that they have multiple writers for one character, and each have a different view of where to go. You can choose the Renew Your Vows world, or you can stick to One More Day; it doesn’t matter, because trying to decide what’s cannon is cringe. Go enjoy what you want, and don’t be a purist about it.

The point is that the spiderverse crew understood the assignment and what needed to be done, and did both so seamlessly. It’s both a brilliant continuation of an already great movie, and (more importantly to me) a discussion that needed to happen years ago.

Thai/Korean/All BL Dramas With Sad Endings

Okay, let me get started. BL in general is not really created for sad endings. It is a phantasy land where all kinds of dreams come true. And originally it adressed a specific audience. So, some of the dramas I am listing here are more queer media in general and not specifically BL. And some of those dramas have an open ending, that does not mean it is not a sad ending, and some might have a beautiful ending, which was kind of sad. There are so many ways of reading those endings.

Two of the shows I haven’t watched yet, but I know that those have sad endings… And please be aware, there will be spoilers after the read-more-dash.

Let’s get started!

Egoist – based on a true story, this Japanese movie is heartbreaking. It is a beautiful story about the love between two people and how they manage their life together until, yeah well, until fate f*ed everything up.

Eien No Kinou (Eternal Yesterday) – another Japanese title. From the start of this series, you just know that this won’t end well. It just can’t. And at the same time, it is so beautiful, you can’t stop watching it. So good!

History 3: Make Our Days Count – I guess people would come after me, if I don’t mention this Taiwanese bl. Yeah…I wasn’t that impacted by the ending, but most of the people who watched it were devastated. I understand why, so have fun 😊

Kissable lips – the first Korean one. This series wasn’t my cup of tea, but that wasn’t the question. For a sad ending, this is your series!

The Miracle of Teddy Bear – this is such a complex thai series as is the ending. Many didn’t watch it because of some weird elements of the series and the episodes are long, but BUT it is so worth a watch! The ending? I kind of liked it? But it was very bittersweet and considering the use of the Little Prince source it is really good...but sad... I am confused... still...

Dark Blue And Moonlight – a Taiwanese series…I wouldn’t recommend it. I can’t really remember the ending… I know it was bad sad.

180 Degree Longitude Passes Through Us – a thai masterpiece. I love this one so much and I analysed the sh*t out of it! It is so good and I was devastated in the end! Such a great storytelling and cinematography and story and the characters...perfection.

Dear Doctor, I’m Coming For Soul – this is a thai series, which got very little attention when it aired (I don’t know why, I really liked it) and the ending was just a sobbing fest for me. I mean I liked it and it was just logical, but I was very sad!

Don’t Say No – also a thai series and I don’t focus on the main couple… I couldn’t care less about them… but the side couple! Oh the heartbreak I felt and the betrayel!

He She It – To this day I still ask myself what I have watched here. All I know is, it is confusing and kind of sad…the whole story, not just the ending.

The Best Story – it is Thai and it is YinWar… so it is good. Nevertheless, it has a very bittersweet ending, and I didn’t feel good after finishing this miniseries. I was very sad!

Once Again – one of my favorite series of 2022. This Korean series deals with a lot of trauma. It has some supernatural element and is really really good! And I was sobbing for the whole f*cking last episode!

When The Waves Rise – in this Korean short film, it is all about the feeling you get from it. It left me devastated. I was really not doing well after finishing it. It touched a part of my soul and it left a sore spot there.

Your Name Engraved Herein – I haven’t seen this one, because I know it will break my heart and I am still not ready for that. It is a Taiwanese movie and I know that I will love it, but I also know that I will cry my little eyes out.

Grey Rainbow – haven‘t seen this one either. This is a Thai miniseries and it is said to have a very sad ending.

The Untamed – the king, the queen, the emperor of sadness. I love this 50 episodes long Chinese masterpiece of a series to death! It doesn’t have a bad ending imo and it is quite open, but the amount of tears I shed during watching this fantasy epos was not funny anymore. I was ugly crying for like 15 minutes straight at one point. And I felt empty after I finished it. I miss it so much! I wish I could watch it again with all the emotions I had during my first watch!

Not only the best WLW show, but it’s one of the best shows of all genre and all time. I mean, they are the reason that Netflix became successful (Ungrateful MFs).  If you haven’t watched it yet, you’re missing a lot, i swear. I’m not exaggerating when i say this show changed me and made me grow as a person. 

A League Of Their Own (2022-)

It’s character complexities, queer majority, diversity, intersectional stories, heart and sense of humor reminds me a lot of Orange is the new black so if you like the latter, watch this and vise versa. + Women in sports, duh! 

The Sex Lives Of College Girls (2021-)

Mean (but not really a bad person u know) lesbian lead, let’s go! This show is f*cking hilarious like you won’t just love the show for the lesbian representation, but all of the leads! It’s more than its title!

Unfortunately, only few people know about this movie, but it’s really one of the best WLW movies in the Philippines AND in the world. And just so you know, the older woman and the girl didn’t have any weird romantic or sexual relationship, this is just all about the lesbian girl’s first childhood crush. A very wholesome story! 

Rafiki (2019)

This is not hyped enough and we all know the reason why. :) Very beautiful film with amazing cinematography, chemistry and soundtrack. It’s banned in Kenya so make sure to support this movie.
