Billy would like to say it is in fact not his fault. It’s really not. Who hits someone with magic they obviously don’t know how to use? Well okay maybe he had done that before, but it’s not like he ever did it around other people where they could get hit! 

But someone was an idiot and now he’s here, as his normal ten-year old self kicking his legs while sitting in the Watchtower as the others argued. Apparently the League thinks he’s been de-aged, which is good as his secret isn’t out. 

The uh, issue is that something about the spell might have um, partially manifested the gods- or as he called them the Mediterranean Magic Men, if only because of how annoyed it made Zeus. Now everyone can see the chat that’s usually only visible to him and apparently it’s concerning. 

He doesn’t see how it’s an issue, Zeus has been silenced for the next hour and Hercules has been dying of laughter for the last three. Oh, wait, it might be from Mercury’s constant attempted flirting with Flash. …Or the fact they’re trying to convince him to commit a crime and he’s honestly down for doing so seeing as he’s a homeless ten year old who is down for getting clairvoyance and super speed for the next thirty minutes in exchange…

just one to draw attention to this subtle scene in the red scrolls of magic that honestly doesn't get appreciated enough

first, it's the perfect setup for later events in trsom when magnus gets confronted with his past, through the cult, shiyun, and asmodeus, and finds that his past doesn't define who he is or who he can love. it's just the past.

and this is still in line to be one of the funniest and most outta pocket things magnus ever thought up. like dude robert threw a knife to your head 20 years ago and now he's not that bad cause you're horrifically gone for his son? lmaooo

then saying without love miracle could never come and literally follows it up by kissing alec hand and saying robert couldn't be that much of a monster if he raises alec. alec is literally the miracle harbored by love from a potential monster. to magnus, alec is his one in a lifetime miracle

also if u think about the fact that magnus sees himself as the demon offspring of asmodeus and how he killed his stepdad and made his mother kill herself. he thinks of himself as a monster that ruins everything. and yet, here he said, if a monster love something, someone enough, a being so pure and full of goodness, they couldn't be that much of monster after all. if a monster met his miracle, maybe there's hope

My heart goes out to everyone finally figuring out that we aren't getting the death worm this season, I am really excited to see it animated too. But tbh there was never any way it would fit

Like think about everything that happens in the cursed house arc. There is SO MUCH there that I personally think just the death worm stuff is going to be 5-6 episodes on it's own to get through it. They didn't have enough episodes left even if they completely skipped the serpo arc.

Personally I've always figured the episodes are gonna shake out like this:

Ep 8 - shenanigans with Okarun/Aira and getting in to empty space (I was right! though I wasn't sure we'd get to Acro Aira but in hindsight that's a perfect cliffhanger cut point)

Ep 9 - the fight, probably ending with the big final blow

Ep 10 - public humiliation and mr. shrimp joins the team, Jiji appears at the end!

Ep 11 - Jiji is actually introduced and goes to school with them, ending with Taro appearing "chasing" Okarun

Ep 12 - anatomical dummies shenanigans and a sort of cliffhanger teasing the cursed house arc next season

I think people forget that it takes seconds to read a fight scene when it's just a few sequential images but several MINUTES to show that same fight scene animated. The Serpo arc is largely action, so it's no suprise it's taking a couple episodes. Also dialogue! Dialogue takes longer to voice act than it does to read. There's only so much you can fit into like, 25 mins
