[{ 🦋 }] - "Maaaan. I've been so busy. I think this is the busiest start to the new season of my show I've had in a long time. It feels great, but kinda tiring. I think I'd better book Valentine's Day off too, especially the day after."
Minato looks over at a brand new shelf he just ordered, he finished building it up earlier and now it is ready for use. It was very tall just barely stopping before his ceiling and had at least over sixty shelves and several little side compartments, the thing was expensive and had taken him about seven hours to put together piece by piece.
Tumblr media
[{ 🦋 }] - "With this new master snack shelf, I'm gonna be able to buy SO MUCH discounted Valentine's Day chocolate... among others, a few extra snacks anyway."
He wore the biggest grin as he began to picture this shelf stacked full of his favorite snacks and candies of all kinds from around the world during his travels for work, and the little compartments be perfect for the more smaller sized snacks, he'd be able to put so much on here he was practically drooling at what he was imagining. A few seconds after, he finally snaps out of his trance, quickly wiping his mouth.
Tumblr media
[{ 🦋 }] - "I'll be like Willy Wonka, except instead of making candy and chocolate, I EAT it." He adds with a smile, he felt like a little kid in a candy store.

(2) BABY NAMES & BREAKFAST — NEYMAR JR
Tumblr media
SUMMARY: Neymar, Davi & You are picking out baby names for the future daughter & Davi’s future baby sister.
“how about Isabella?” Neymar asked munching on his pancakes getting crumbs all over the white sheets of your king sized bed. After the skincare situation last night you made breakfast to make it up to Neymar for “ruining” his eyebrows.
When you were cooking you, Davi & Ney were picking out names for the baby that’s about to come into your lives. Once you finished cooking Neymar and Davi brought the food upstairs on a cart so you could eat together as a family.
“Mmh, that’s cute. Maybe with an accent? Like ‘Isabélla?’” You also munched on your pancakes trying to brainstorm regular names and making them unique. “I don’t know make it unique or something.” You added before shoving another piece of maple syrup drenched scrambled eggs.
“That’ll give it a whole other pronunciation. Like ‘Isabecghlla’” Neymar laughed imagingi the teacher trying to pronounce her name on the first day of school. Even though the name might be the least of their worries on that day.
“Did you just call our baby an ‘it’?” You jokingly glared at him throwing in of your blueberries from your pancakes at his forehead. You both unconsciously called your baby an it but it was worse when he called her an it because you were carrying her. (Pregnant lady logic)
You both laughed as he threw a blueberry right back at you having it roll down your face and into your shirt in a split second. “Boob-Berries.” Neymar whispered trying to not have Davi hear his perverted joke.
“Mama, what about Camila…?” Davi stuttered out, ever since he’s turned 4 & 1/2 he’s been having trouble pronouncing his C’s, its really cute watching his face light up when he finally is able to pronounce it.
“That’s beautiful Davi, wanna write it on the list?” You hand him the pen and paper we’re the names; Valerie, Sofía, María, Veronica, Selena & Fernanda. They were all really nice but we were looking for something that’ll make her stand out.
A bit more banter and Boob-berry jokes until the boys were done and weren’t talking as much. Davi was picking at the thread of the blanket and Neymar was picking at his fingernails.
“Are you finish with your food guys?” You sighed at Davi & Ney. They both picked at their food the same way whenever they were full but didn’t want to say so. Having you ask them is so much easier than having to wait the next 30 minutes for them to finally rip off the bandaid and scrap their food.
“Yeah, Davi come lemme help you scrape your food.” Neymar and Davi waddled into the hallway and headed downstairs to the kitchen which was on the other side of the condo so it would take them a while.
You finished your food whilst caressing your very pregnant belly & staring into the distance. Hoping that a name would just come to you like 1,2,3, You never knew that coming up with a name was supposed to use so much energy.
You sighed and placed the plate on the bedside table swinging your feet to the side of the bed. They were so swollen you couldn’t wear anything but house slippers in sizes 5x your own. Being pregnant was such a blessing but sometimes you wish you could switch pregnancy shifts with Ney. See if he liked having cantaloupe feet.
Soon after, you heard laughter coming down the hall as Davi & Neymar came back from the kitchen with suspicion grins in their faces. Like they had done something they weren’t supposed too.
“What’s with the grins? Did you guys sneak bites of the Ice Cream in the freezer?” You asked getting up and walking to the powder room to relive yourself from all the food you just ate.
“Me & Davi have found the perfect name for our little kidney bean.” Neymar announced, walking towards the bathroom with you just to have the door slammed in his face. You didn’t like him seeing your pregnancy symptoms like morning sickness, diarrhea, vomiting and more.
Even though he insisted he didn’t mind you still didn’t prefer for him to see it if he could avoid it. “Continue talking through the door. It helps me. Or the baby, your voice convinces her to be nicer to her mommy.”
“Okay well me and Davi thought about the name ‘Valentina Rosa Camíla Santos-[Last Name].” Neymar revealed the name as he fiddled with his hands waiting for your response. “We thought to add the top 2 names on the list as a middle name so it’s not just a boring short name like ‘Valentina-Santos-[Last Name]’.”
Neymar nervously chuckled hoping you would like their suggestion. Last time you guys discussed names it turned into a huge argument. Davi grabbed his hand as he waited for you to answer him and his papa until 10 seconds turn into 30, then 1 minute then 2 minutes.
After 2 minutes with nothing but absolute silence Neymar had gotten worried and turned the door-knob. You stood in front of the mirror with eyes watering rubbing your pregnant belly. It wasn’t even a situation where you should be crying but the name was just so beautiful you couldn’t help it.
“ Valentina-Rosa, It’s perfect. She’s perfect. You’re perfect.” You smiled at Davi who was peeking around the open bathroom door before walking inside when you ushered him too. You hugged them both as tightly as you could.
“Princesa, I love you so much. Thank you for carrying my child & giving me the family I always wanted.” Neymar Hugged you before smiling brightly as his son as they marched out of the bathroom happy with the ending of their mission.
after that sentimental moment you elbowed Neymar glaring at him. “Heyy, Why’s my last name at the back? Shouldn’t it be first? After all I am carrying her.”
“That wasn’t me! It was Davi.” Neymar turns to Davi who has a shocked look on his face. “Papa! Don’t lie it wasn’t meee!” Davi stomped his feet hitting Neymar’s stomach with his tiny fist.
You laughed at the scene in-front of you impatient as to when you could share this amazing life with your daughter; Valentina-Rosa Camíla Santos.

One Sunny Day
(Stardew Valley)(Haley x Female Farmer)
Chapter 17
The flag on my mailbox has caught my eye this morning as I go out to tend to my crops. Reaching in, I pull out a familiar looking piece of paper with writing scribbled on it.
Dear Danny,
Tomorrow we’re all gathering at the beach for the annual Pelican Town Luau
The highlight of the event is the communal potluck. Make sure you bring something good to contribute! The governor himself is attending the event, so make sure you’re on your best behavior.
Come to the beach sometime between 9am and 2pm.
- Mayor Lewis
“I only have until tomorrow to find something good?! Why is he telling us this so last minute!?” I shout.
All of my crops have been considered a hit in this community. After I had given Leah the cauliflower she had asked for during my first week here, she had spread the word that I have the freshest and tastiest fruits and veggies. That should mean that I shouldn’t be as worried as I am about finding the best thing to contribute.
I usually save the best looking crops from my fields for myself, so I decided I will go through all of those fruits and veggies before anything. Although, I will probably need help deciding on what to bring.
Slinging my backpack full of food containers over my shoulder, I head out the door. The closest person to ask that wouldn’t be busy today would be Leah. I don’t really want to bother Marnie today since she is probably busy with her store and farm.
The trip over was a short one since I’m pretty used to the walk now. I’ve been here for several months so the walking always feels like nothing.
“Hey Leah!” I call out as I swing open her front door. She has told me before I don’t need to knock since she considers me a friend.
“Oh, hey Danny!” She mumbles through gritted teeth. She seems to be very concentrated on carving a piece of wood. Elliot is also here, sitting on Leah’s bed with a book.
“Perfect! I’m glad you are also here Elliot. Both of you can help me out. That is if you have a minute there, Leah?”
“Whatcha need help with? Confessing your feelings?” Elliot mocks in a playful tone. He seems very intrigued as he has put down his book.
“I need help picking what to bring to the Luau tomorrow. Lewis gave me way too late of notice and I can’t decide what item to bring.
“I don’t know how you will pick. I know I’m biased, but I think everything you have grown is good,” Leah chimes in while still working away.
“We just have to decide on ONE thing. I’m sure we can do this. I’ve brought enough samples for us. I had just cut up one of everything I had, but left a full thing of each item back at home for whatever food we decide on,” I explained to them.
“Well I guess we better get started then. I’m at a good place to stop,” Leah leaps off her stole and makes her way over to her table around the corner. Elliot and I joined her.
                                                    🌻 🌻 🌻
“Danny, I don’t think I can eat anymore,” Elliot groans, holding his stomach.
“But we still haven’t decided!” I reply with a mouth full of strawberries. I reach over to grab a handful of blueberries to shove in my mouth.
“I don’t know why you are doubting yourself. Anything you bring will be the best, I guarantee,” Leah says.
“I just don’t want to let everyone down. The governor will be here and everything, I just want to make a good impression with everyone,” I sigh.
“You’ve already done so much for the town,” Elliot begins, “everyone thinks you are the best we promise.”
“You’ve already made good impressions with everyone in town, don’t worry about what the governor thinks,” Leah adds.
“Knock Knock!” Someone sing songs from the front door area. The three of us exchange glances, wondering who it could be. We hear the door shut and footsteps approaching the corner.
“Oh no, am I missing out on a party?” Emily frowns as she rounds the corner.
“Want to help us pick out which food item Danny should bring tomorrow?” Elliot invites Emily in on the taste testing. He is trying to be sneaky and get out of helping, but he isn’t fooling me.
“Actually, I’d love to! I was just dropping off this shirt Leah needed fixed,” She holds up the shirt she had in her hand. Without another thought, she chucks it onto Leah’s bed that’s across the room and takes a seat at the table with us. “What’s on the menu!”
We go through the entire process again, this time with Emily. Elliot has stopped eating and retired to the bed with a book as he was when I walked in.
“Honestly…” Emily starts as she swallows her bite, “I can’t decide either. Do you mind if I bring the leftovers to Haley and see what she thinks? She is picky and if Haley likes something, you know it’s good.”
“Uh–um- yeah… I guess you can do that. It’ll help us decide that’s for sure,” I stutter.
“Wonderful! I will send her over to your place with your containers once she tries everything.” Emily bounces up off the chair, gathers every container into her arms, and walks out. I had to get the door for her since she had her hands full.
“You should bring yourself over there for her to taste test as well,” Elliot jokes from the bed, not even looking up from his page.
I feel my face get warm, so I start looking out the window so they can’t see me blushing.
“You didn’t deny it!” Leah chuckles as she goes back to her sculpting.
“I guess I should head back to my place and wait around for her, huh?” I utter. I anxiously tap my knuckles together a couple times.
“Don’t do anything I wouldn’t do,” The two of them call out in unison as I make my way out the door. I then hear them yell “jinx” to each other as I shut the door.
I do not have enough patience to wait around all day without having something to do. But the thing is, when I know something is supposed to happen in a day, I can’t get myself to do anything except wait around.
I find myself kicking the dirt around on the ground, tossing rocks into a small pond at the corner of my farm, checking each individual crop for a sign of growth, and even picking up random acorns and pinecones. It was a full day of useless activities that did not help with anything in the slightest.
The sun has made its way across the sky, and is now barely peeking over the horizon. It casts a pink, orange, and yellow glow over the earth, with just a touch of purple from the darkening sky. I can faintly see a few stars twinkling already. The whole day had gone by, and even though I was doing mundane and weird things to pass the time, it really flew by. There was still no sign of Haley.
I take a seat on the ledge of the porch of my house, tracing my boots in the dirt to make random pictures. When I give up on that, I lean back and lay down with my legs still hanging over the ledge of the porch.
It was definitely not an exhausting day. It wasn’t even a remotely tiring day at that. But for some reason, I had fallen asleep on my porch waiting for Haley.
I woke with a start as I realized what I had done. The air has cooled significantly, and I cannot see anything around me. It was pitch black with the darkness of the night. The stars were twinkling more visibly now, and I could now see just a faint sliver of a moon.
“Shit Shit Shit,” I frantically cry out. My eyes finally adjust to the darkness. To my right, I notice a pile of containers. My containers. There was a little piece of paper on top that I immediately snatched to look at. In the neatest, fanciest writing I have ever seen, it read:
Danny,
I didn’t want to wake you, so I just put your containers here and ran home to write you a letter since I wasn’t sure when you’d wake. I was told you couldn’t pick what you wanted to bring to the Luau tomorrow, and wanted me to help you decide. I thought everything was absolutely amazing and it was definitely tough for me to pick. Although, I think you should bring a Melon. That had stuck out to me the most. It definitely had a gold star taste!
From my heart to yours,
Haley
P.S: I hope you're dreaming of me! ♡

go to werewolf fantasy is I'm camping. it's night and I need to relax for bed.... I start to touch myself. a werewolf is lured by my scent.. it rips open my tent to find me, putting on a show... I also am a big fan of being taken back to be shared by the pack 😇
oh this is a good one.
camping is lovely this time of year. just starting to feel like the beginning of fall... you book a nice, secluded spot near a lake.
you needed this. some alone time to clear your head. away from your responsibilities. the day passes comfortably as you pitch the tent, gather wood for a little fire, pick blueberries, and take the downtime to read.
you packed far more blankets than strictly necessary, and you think yourself very lucky as a full moon lights your tent enough for you to easily bed down and bundle up into your pile of blankets.
in the warm comfort of your tent your thoughts turn to desire. you think about thrusting. and stroking. kissing and grabbing and holding. you throw off the blankets, already starting to get warm, and grab a little vibrator from your backpack. you take off your undergarments and press it to yourself - already so wet.
you spend the next while working yourself up - but are frustratingly unable to cum. you miss touch and fucking and holding. your head is full of frustrated desire and your hips buck against the air. your cunt screams for relief, your core on fire. but still climax does not come. you start to quietly whimper and your mouth falls open in little gasps.
a twig breaks in the clearing.....
you pause for just a second. quieting the buzzing vibrator. nothing. nothing but also probably something harmless, like a deer or possum. you listen hard for a few seconds, then start the vibe back up. rolling your hips to find relief.
a rustle.... faint. just outside of your hearing. you ignore it, all focus on the task at hand. still no relief in sight for your dripping cunt.
a harsh, tearing sound jolts you from your horny haze. your yelp of fear and dewilderment catches in your throat as a towering, furry creature looms through the hole it rent in the side of your tent.
you behold each other for what feels like an eternity, but you know can only be seconds. it is back-lit by the moon, so the details of its features are lost on you.
your heart pounds as you regard each other, too stunned to cry out, thinking that perhaps this is the kind of wild animal you ought to keep very, very still for....
the creature bends down closer to you and you try not to flinch away. they take two short steps into the tent, tearing it further as they press in. you can make out pointed ears, a long snout. fur that can be made out as shades of light and dark brown in the moonlight. in fact, you find yourself thinking the creature looks downright fluffy.
a low growl comes from them, and you feel the hair all over your body stand on end. canine. wolf. massive. you shrink back to the side of the tent and their ears prick towards you. you can see the faintest shine of their eyes as they fix on you. you, still naked and flushed. the vibrator forgotten.
strangley, they begin to... snuffle. they creep closer to you and swing their head back and forth over you. sniffing you out with rapid breaths. they're barely and inch from you, now. hovering over you. looming in a way they can't help. angling their huge head and still working nose first at your pelvis, then towards your face. their warm breath puffs over you. they give a low growl. your cunt clenches.
they're on you in an instant. you don't struggle or cry out, you just comply. nice and obedient for them. they grab your hips and pull you in closer. you're on your back underneath them. you feel a huge cock touch your stomach and swear you can feel it twitch with need. the werewolf presses their face into the crook of your neck to lick and mouth and you cry out truly for the first time. so warm, so much soft fur. such sharp canines grazing your throat... your already wet cunt is dripping. you whimpered with need in the forest and this is your answer, you'll take it gladly.
they pull back from your throat and grip your hips so hard they could bruise. they pull you in further and line up their cock with your hole. they whine and keen as they twitch their hips forward, grinding the tip of their massive cock against your hole. you gasp and whine with them at the stimulation. they grind in harder and their cock slowly begins to stretch you out.
they go slow. you can tell they're being nice about it, somehow. some shred of restraint lurks within them. with a yell of pleasure and wonderful, perfect stretch the whole things pops in, finally. the werewolf yelps in pleasure - such a lovely, tight hole. they lean down, face back against your neck. they give a primal, deep growl, right in your ear. hilted on their cock, covered and pinned by them completely, they start fucking you in earnest. a punishing pace. theyre pulling out barely an inch at a time, grinding their cock further inside you. with each thrust you yelp out - lost in the sensations, hands fisted into their fur, clinging on for dear life.
they graze their claws down your neck, bite and nibble at your ear, they growl and whine and keen in ecstasy. such a nice hole to be buried in.
you cum so hard you see stars. turns out all you really needed was to be stretched out on big fat werewolf dick. how lucky for you! you gasp and whimper beneath them, the same pace never letting up. they fuck you through your orgasm as it lights you up from the inside. as your hole clenches down they let out a long whine and lean even more of their weight down onto your cunt. your hips get angled up more and their cock reaches as deep as it can go. your post orgasm high hasn't left you yet and you whimper out pitifully as your brain fully seems to turn off. this is the fullest you've ever been, the deepest you've ever been taken. it feels so fucking good and right.
you go limp and only the cutest whimpers and fucked out breaths escape you as the werewolf ruts into its new favorite hole. they lick along your neck and wrap their arms all the way around you as they fuck all the thoughts out of your head.
you are still limp and blissed out when they pull your body up completely. they're holding you fully off the ground, wrapped tightly in their warm, soft arms. you're still speared nice and deep on their cock as they stand up and lean you fully against their chest.
you're being such a good hole. obedient and pliant. your face is pressed into the fur on their chest. your body is being almost cradled in their arms. your cunt is stuffed full of their pulsing cock, still not fully relieved.
they begin to fuck you again, holding you and moving you up and down on their cock. cockdrunk and sleepy, you lean against their chest and whimper as they take your perfect hole.
they get erratic, fucking you fast. jostling you up and down up and down on their length. you start to feel pressure building in your core again. the werewolf grips you tight, claws pricking at your back and sides. they push you down on their cock hard and cum with something that seems half whimper half howl. you feel their cum spurt deep inside you and your eyes roll back with pleasure at the warm, full feeling. they continue to fuck you on their cock like a fleshlight with stuttering jerks as they ride out their orgasm. gradually, their movements slow and they sink back to the ground, carefully setting you down, cock still buried inside you.
you both slowly come back to your senses. they start licking and sniffing you again about the face and neck. you feel their cock soften inside you and with a groan from both of you they slowly pull out.
they flop down back on top of you with a huff. you find yourself once again totally surrounded by their warmth, muscle, and fur.
a twig breaks.... the sound pulls at your sleeping mind. a weight on you shifts away.
you awake with a start and notice that the sky is beginning to turn gray with dawn. you look around in bewilderment. the werewolf. your werewolf was standing over you, a pleased look on their face. and on the edges of the clearing you could see.... how many? two? three? more of them coming into view.
before you could truly make out the newcomer werewolves your werewolf swept you off your feet and held you close to their chest again. the other werewolves approached cautiously. noses working hard, bright eyes examining you.
you all left in a group, heading back for their home. your tent and belongings all abandoned in the clearing. the others eyed you hungrily and you got the distinct feeling that these werewolves were much inclined to sharing their prey.

I feel like everyone should have their ocs heard at least once SO DO TELL MORE I haven’t interacted with u that much but I may reveal who I am hehehe
∑(゚ロ゚〃) someone wants to hear about my OCs? Really?
I have many OCs (kinda) (not really)! I'll only talk about Enstars first bc much to say about each of them so this is gonna be a loooong ramble already!! I apologize in advance for my possibly incoherent essay(s)
First up, Kiyoko!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
She used to be a Yuguysona back when I was in the NijiEN rabbithole, but bc I was too attached to her design to toss/scrap him, I brought him into the Enstars Universe! Kiyoko was meant to stay as like- my self insert/persona in Enstars? But they eventually kinda deviated from that and became her own character!
Uhhh as you can see I've been running around she/he/they for Kiyoko, and that's because he's gender fluid! Why? Because I am a mess about my own gender and creating/tweaking Kiyoko was a way for me to explore that area. Now they're my gender goals + I am very down bad for her ✨
Just like my other soon-to-be-rambled-about OCs, this blueberry is a very tragic little creature - she has one or two problems from my life mixed in with the hundreds of problems from the Ensemble Stars Universe. Relatively nice family, once bullied, has a friend in a coma, swings between being compliant to being stubborn, overthinks and overworks, is a very tired child... Yeah! The usual~ A third year student in Yumenosaki, who sneaked in as a male in the first year with the help of some teachers, but now others knowing she's afab doesn't get him kicked out either so 👏👏👏 went solo for a while before the mess in the war, so they picked up a teammate/friend by being weirdly philosophical and whimsical on the roof of the school 👍! Kiyoko is very passionate about the idea of freedom thanks to The War in Enstars aksnksnskd
What's ironic about him is that she's the leader of a unit whose theme is "freedom", yet mentally she's as free as a dove in an undersized cage. Kiyoko keeps going on and on about how people need the freedom to choose (as long as it doesn't harm others) and yet never gives himself that freedom due to fear of making another mistake that would snowball into a devastating consequence (see: friend in coma).
Anyway! We have very similar fashion sense/styles, which is over-the-top-accessorizing! I have no explanation for this other than: I really like earrings and chains and chokers and rings and boots and shiny silver bits and looking good in general! We both really like singing too, just that I have stage fright despite performing on stage for 10years (school). Aaaaand we're both sleepy babies we can and will curl up anywhere on the grass floor cement ground and sleep 😴
All these lead to funny little scenarios between her and other characters, mostly when they randomly trip over him/catch her knocked out in the middle of hallways (all these scenarios happened in my head).
Um. I think that's it for him sorry it's so long for the first one orz
Oh one more thing! I suffer from being a Kiyoko fan bc I'm the only source of art for them but I have little to no motivation to draw 😭
Aaaaand that's a wrap! Next one, Ai!
(apparently her file isn't on my phone so I only have her picrew + pencil drawing)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Sunshine of Kiyoko's unit, Wing5! Formerly a solo idol who failed after debut, she was scouted out by New Di/Kiyoko/Tsumugi to be part of Wing5. She's a strong vocalist, often pairing with Kiyoko to take on the melody of their songs, hence the ship name "Songbirds" (That ship is like fan speculation? It's not entirely canon unless I want it to be)
In terms of appearance, Ai and I look the most similar thanks to our front bangs ✨ Her hair is all purple, she just dyed her side bangs to match her eyes! Also since every OC has a piece of their creator's soul, she has my extroverted side! She's a bumbling 20 year old or so - think "wine aunt" vibes!
Ai's actually very insecure though, due to her failure as a solo idol. She may be cheeky, but she's very sensitive to others' emotions and tries her best not to push them to the limit in case they decide to abandon her because of whatever antics she's up to, or because she's not good enough. Imposter syndrome too, maybe?
I think she needs to be babied more she's always taking care of others... Mom of Wing5™️ old
Next! Uhhhh what was her name... Yurika!!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Resident tryhard emo and chronically online child, her strength lies more in marketing, video editing etc. more than performing onstage! Despite being paired with Akari (who will be rambled about next) due to her dance, Yurika is more widely recognized as Wing5's rapper.
She's the shortest in Wing5! ++ An albino, which is why all Wing5 performances are usually done indoors/at night outdoors to prevent aggravating her condition (I opened so many tabs for this but I've forgotten so much I'm sorry if anything isn't accurate). Her left eye is also affected by... Something which the name I can't remember- it affects albinos and causes their vision to be blurry, even with glasses. Yurika just needs glasses in general bc she has been sitting in front of the PC for so long sknskdnd
Our similarities... Being online like 24/7? She has a worse sleep schedule than me though bwahahaa ✨ We both also melt. Like. Absolutely melt into nothingness whenever we're presented with affection. (At least I think I would...?)
Her ship with Akari is. Canon. I will not hear arguments I created them!! 🙉 They've been traveling/living together for a few years before Wing5, when Yurika was 15 and Akari was 18, bc their families are close friends and Yurika's family decided it was time to kick her out of her dark gloomy room to see the world with Akari, who was going around Japan to look for jobs as a dancer! When Akari landed a job, they had to continue travelling to follow the idol around on his/her concerts as a backup dancer, and Yurika stuck with Akari throughout the years until they landed in Wing5~ it's like the "omg they were roommates" situation! She's very prickly with everyone else aside from Akari, especially Kiyoko bc they have severely clashing opinions from time to time lmao
Bonus: She uses her name as a pun for "Eureka" so it sounds like "this is an Eureka moment!" but it practically means 'this is Yurika's moment!'
I never thought I'd say so much about Yurika but I will speak more about her in the next ramble about her wife girlfriend, Akari!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Heads up, Akari's transfem! She transitioned before + during her travels with Yurika, but doesn't feel completely female? An imbalanced in-between, like a tomboyish girl! And that's why she's the tallest in Wing5, bc hormones- By male standards, she's softer and more feminine, but by female standards she's a little too masculine. Gender who?
Tragically, she doesn't have a family other than her little brother (to be rambled about next), whom she is very protective about. She was taken care of by Yurika's family until 15 when she moved to school dorms while her brother remained with Yurika's family, then after graduation she came back to bring Yurika around Japan at her family's request.
They do return Yurika's feelings towards them, though Akari needed time to sort her own emotions out after Yurika's confession because they had never really thought of having a partner? Akari just felt comfortable and safe and at home with Yurika, that's all. So yeah they were disaster gays at some point before officially starting their relationship as lovers!
Akari is really hostile towards Kiyoko, though she displays it mostly in a passive-aggressive way. Why? Bc they blame Kiyoko for what happened to her little brother 😔 Will be explained soon!
Akari's name used to be Akira! This is a coincidence that it happens to be the Enstars story writer's name, I didn't know until a while after creating Akari 😅
Next, Hikari!

Then humans start disappearing and citizens revolt against what looks like retaliation. Kate, an independent, newly recruited detective, decides to take matters into her own hands when her superiors fail to make sufficient progress.
With the help of the other recruits and her new monster friends, she’ll have to find the culprit lest she lose both her job and the rights of monsterkind.

5. Prudent Prandium
Spicy food, cryptic games, and friendship start…? Also, being on-call kinda sucks.
“Thanks again for picking me up,” I said as I climbed off Sans’ motorcycle.
When he had finally sent me the address to their place, I was surprised to find out that buses didn’t travel that far north of Ebott. Sans had been quick to offer himself to take me to his home. I had been reluctant to accept his offer, but when he showed up at my apartment on a space blue motorcycle wearing a leather jacket and fingerless gloves, it was hard to say no. Especially with the prospect of riding a motorcycle as cool looking as his.
“Of course! I can even drop you off afterwards,” he said, parking the cycle. I cringed at the offer, having thought I could just walk back when it was late enough that he would have forgotten.
I gazed around myself as he led me to the front door, the sparse streetlights not doing justice to the beautifully decorated garden just in front of the house. With the cute fairy lights strung up along the house, I barely made out a manicured lawn dotted with wild flowers, full to bursting flower boxes lining the brown porch, and a wooden swing seat hanging on it. It felt cosy what with the warm lights coming from the windows and how peaceful the entire neighbourhood was.
“What time would you like to go back?” Sans asked, reminding me to follow after him on the cobblestone path, and that he wouldn’t let me walk back home if he had any say in it.
I sighed before responding. “If nine isn’t too late, I could go back then?”
“Perfect! Ample time to show you my puzzles!”
I chuckled as he bounded up the steps, curious as to what his puzzles may be.
“Welcome to my humble—duck!”
Surprised by the sudden command, I didn’t react in time and got a face full of pie. My eyes were screwed shut as I tried to process what just happened. I recognised Papyrus snickering which was quickly interrupted by the chastising voice of Sans. With a comical splat, the pie fell from my face and I began removing the cream from my eyes. I took a tentative lick and was pleasantly surprised by how good it tasted.
“Mmm. Blueberry?”
The bickering stopped and I watched the brothers curiously. Sans’ back was toward me and I couldn’t make out Papyrus’ face with the light behind him.
“Was that the dessert?” Sans asked, and I watched Papyrus deny it vehemently as I took another lick of icing.
“If it was, it’s berry nice,” I commented, content with cleaning my face with my tongue. Sans snorted before turning to me with an apologetic expression on his face.
“Sorry, Kate. I’ll show you the bathroom.” I shrugged and he led me into the house, pausing in the threshold to tell Papyrus to clean up his mess before leading me past a couple of rooms.
I tried taking everything in, the warmth of the house rivalling that of Muffet’s as a spicy aroma invaded my nose. Sans moved too quickly for me to notice much other than the yellow lighting in the living room and dimmer lights as we walked into a hallway.
“Sorry about Papyrus,” he started as I admired the family pictures lining the wall. “I told him to deactivate his pranks.”
I shrugged. “Eh. I walk into the shared house of the legendary prank master. I should’ve been more prepared.” After spending an afternoon pranking his protégé, I should have anticipated him doing something like this.
Sans gave me an odd look as he stopped in front of a wooden door. He considered me for a moment as I wiped away more icing to lick. He shook his head, perma-grin widening before gesturing to the door. “Bathroom. You may use what you need. Can I trust you’ll find your way to the living room?”
I nodded in confirmation and he gave me a smile before exclaiming that he had to make sure that Papyrus didn’t actually mess with the dessert. I watched him rush off, a grin on my face, before entering the bathroom. I was pleasantly surprised—for the second time that night—to find it decorated with many potted plants and succulents. Marvelling at the green and grey tiling, I wondered whether skeletons even needed bathrooms.
Looking at myself in the mirror, I grimaced at the sight of cream in my braids and on my outfit, and got to work removing as much as I could. A couple of washcloth rinses later, I was scrutinising my face for any residual cream. I gave myself a reassuring smile as I tried to wrap my head around the fact that I was in the house of new friends, removing cream from my braids after being pied. I snorted at the thought, the reality of it being too ridiculous to actually be true and yet there I was.
I was ready to leave when a notification on my phone gave me pause. Removing it from my pants, I was pleasantly surprised—again—that it was a text from my brother. He was responding to the image that I had sent almost a month ago. I deflated at the late reply, vague congratulations after apologising for forgetting, before switching off my phone. Heaving out a sigh, I switched it on again to respond as patiently as I could before another notification appeared on my screen.
I immediately clicked on the chat, wondering why Papyrus was texting. He had slipped his phone number into my purse after the pranking and after a while of deliberating—and pretty much forgetting that I had it—I had decided to text him. I quickly found out that that had been a mistake as he bombarded me with jokes and memes that had me laughing more frequently than I should have been. My eyes flicked up to the earlier image of a duck holding a knife in its beak, and I clucked my teeth as I realised that he had been warning me about tonight.
At the sight of a sticker of someone raising their eyebrows, I realised that I had been in the bathroom for too long. Tucking my phone away, I did a last once over before making my way back to the living room, guided by the wall of pictures. My nose scrunched up when I found Papyrus lounging on the sofa, pink slippers on the seat as he rested his head on his hands with his sockets closed.
When I cleared my throat to alert him of my arrival, he opened a singular socket and raised a hand in greeting before going back to napping. I shook my head as I took a seat on a free chair, moving the cushion so it rested on my lap.
“Duck, huh?”
He snickered at my comment and despite my earlier annoyance at not having realised what the image had meant, I laughed along with him.
“Nice place,” I said, looking around the room when he didn’t say anything afterward. The living room was cosy with warm lights on the walls beside more pictures and art. Shelves hung beside the TV, holding books, boardgames and what looked like videogames. He didn’t immediately respond, and I busied myself with trying to make out some of the pictures on the walls instead.
The sound of shifting clothes had me glancing back at him and I was surprised that he was already looking in my direction. His eyes flickered to the entrance to another room where soft noises and delectable scents were coming from, before flicking back to me.
“Why a cop?”
I furrowed my brows at the question, or rather, his tone of voice. He was speaking low as if he didn’t want his brother to hear and he almost sounded accusatory, as if I was the one sneaking around family.
Well.
“To protect and serve,” I shrugged.
He scoffed and I immediately got defensive, readying a response on my lips. As though sensing that an argument was about to break out, Sans waltzed into the living room with a beaming smile. He shot a withering glare at Papyrus who sighed and sat up properly on the couch before turning back to me with a radiant smile. I smiled back weakly, ignoring the wary look Papyrus was sending me behind his brother.
“Welcome, again, to our humble home,” Sans said, taking a seat on another chair. With each of them on either side of me, I had the weirdest sensation of being trapped. I quelled the strange feeling before responding to him.
“Heh, yeah.” I scratched at the side of my face. “Thank you for inviting me.”
We continued with some idle talk, Papyrus speaking up only when his brother asked him to, and I found myself getting more and more comfortable in the cosy environment. Before long, Sans suggested we actually eat before the food got cold. I followed after his enthusiastic movements, chuckling along the way as Papyrus trailed after us. I stumbled to a stop when we reached the dining room, my eyes widening at the sight before me.
The lights had been dimmed and candles lit, decorating the table beside the multitude of closed serving dishes. I glanced down at my black jumpsuit, feeling completely underdressed for the occasion. Although, what occasion it was, I wasn’t entirely sure. Sans pulled out my chair for me before taking his own seat at the head, Papyrus sitting across from me.
“This is a lot for a simple friendship dinner,” I mumbled.
“Well, friendship is far from a simple occasion, and requires all extravagance,” Sans explained, his hands clasped on the table.
“And he wanted an excuse to cook,” Papyrus snickered.
“Hush, brother,” he smiled. “I hope you don’t mind a bit of spice,” he said, before opening one of the dishes.
Hot steam bundled out, carrying with it scents of well-seasoned food and a plethora of spices. My mouth watered at the foods hiding within the dishes and I couldn’t wait to actually taste them, wondering if they had magic infused in them too.
“I don’t mind,” I finally said, remembering Sans’ concern for me.
He passed a dish to me filled with what he told me was Spanish Rice and I scooped a healthy helping of it onto my plate, sighing as more steam wafted into my face. He continued passing me dishes until I could barely see the plate underneath. I flushed at the thought of me being greedy, but Sans seemed ecstatic that I had taken so much, even offering me more despite my already overladen plate. At Sans’ encouragement, we tucked in, the silence occasionally broken by my appraisal of the food.
“Alphys tells me your training is going well.”
I looked up sharply from my food, first glancing at Sans who was concentrated on his own plate, before finding Papyrus’ gaze who was trying desperately not to laugh. I pursed my lips together as I felt the beginning of my own laughter, before going back to my food.
Alphys still hadn’t forgiven me for the prank and was taking it out on me during our training sessions. My sores throbbed at the reminder before the feeling was washed away with a spoonful of food.
“That’s good to know,” I finally said, when I felt my laughter wouldn’t burst out of me.
He continued asking a couple more work related questions which I answered dutifully, trying my best to ignore the scrutinising look Papyrus seemed to be giving me. As I cut into a tamale, I realised that I had done a poor job of getting to know my hosts.
“Where do you work, Papyrus?” I glanced up at him from the food and watched him shrug.
“Ebott.”
I snorted into my food while Sans grumbled beside me.
“Seriously?” He was smirking at me and I had the distinct feeling that he wouldn’t give me any more information. “Is it better than the Underground?”
I realised my mistake as soon as I said it. The table descended into quiet and I looked up to find both of them focused intently on their food. I stumbled over my words to amend my mistake.
“Sorry- I didn’t mean- I was just curious…”
“That’s okay,” Sans said gently. He was still focused on his meal, but it didn’t seem forced anymore. “It is much better on the surface.”
I ducked my head in understanding, scolding myself for bringing up what must have been a traumatic experience at the literal dinner table. The meal was silent after that, all conversation ceasing after my mistake. The atmosphere lightened again when Sans brought in the dessert, the table having been cleared with a surprising efficiency from the duo. It was a blueberry cobbler, if the blue oozing out of the pie crust was anything to go by, and I was once again overwhelmed by how good it smelt.
“Toriel taught me how to make pies,” Sans said conversationally, as he dished out slices. He gave me an especially large piece and I was glad that I had a separate stomach for dessert.
“You mean the queen of the Underground?” I asked incredulously, once I had actually registered what he said. He grinned at me as he scooped some vanilla ice cream onto my plate, enough to cover the remaining space on it. After the meal we just had, I didn’t know whether I’d actually be able to finish it. Papyrus was looking at me like he doubted I would, and I decided that I would prove him wrong.
“You guys must have been pretty close,” I said before taking a bite of food. I let the sweet flavours of the dessert envelop me, as more magic washed over me.
“Yes, well, we had to look after each other,” Sans responded.
I was reminded of what Alphys said back at Toriel’s house and subsequently how horrible it must have been to be down there. My stomach twisted in sympathy as I stared down at the food.
“I’m glad you guys made it out,” I said softly. Sans hummed in acknowledgement before spluttering in outrage. I lifted my head in time to catch Papyrus squeezing a mountain of honey on top of his slice of pie. My nose wrinkled in distaste as Sans grilled him about how that was going to ruin the flavour profile of the food.
I watched them bicker back and forth, idly putting portions of pie in my mouth. I couldn’t even taste it anymore, an acrid feeling settling in my stomach as I watched their sibling dynamic unfold. I shut my eyes briefly when they stung before opening them again to find an empty plate.
“Have you ever played battleship?” I started, blinking rapidly to clear my blurry eyes. I nodded my head in answer which seemed to make his smile widen.
“Then I shall show you no mercy!” He pulled me out of my seat and I dazedly followed after him, vaguely aware of Papyrus behind us. He led me to the living room where he pulled out cushions from underneath the coffee table and sat me down on one of them. He collected a variety of game boxes from the shelf before taking a seat opposite me. Papyrus was sprawled on the couch beside us, his feet off the coach and his sockets drifting closed as Sans set up the game.
I furrowed my brows as I watched him. “This isn’t battleship.”.
“It’s slightly modified,” he replied, waving me off before starting a very advanced and seemingly life-threatening game of battleship.
Needless to say, I lost. A lot. But the snickers from Papyrus and Sans’ shouts of victory had me enjoying it all anyway before we moved onto different games. Sans showed me more of his puzzles; modified games tricked up with circuits; various 3D shapes with colour coded solutions, and picture puzzles that weren’t all that they seemed. We didn’t actually play any of them, save for the strange puzzle, as he explained that they would take far too long to actually complete with the limited time that we had. He did insist that we play one of his modified game boards though.
“How did you…?” Sans was looking at me with an awed expression on his face, while Papyrus’ brows were raised in mild surprise.
I shrugged in answer, giggles escaping me as the aftermath of good food and warm company lulled me into a state of bliss. “I’m a detective in training. You really thought I wouldn’t be able to sus you out?”
“Huh.” I glanced at Papyrus whose brows were now furrowed as Sans started resetting the puzzle.
“That has to constitute as cheating of some kind,” he grumbled, putting the pieces in a new order as I watched the pattern grow.
“Don’t hate the player,” I chuckled. I glanced at Papyrus again, who hadn’t stopped staring at me since I mentioned being a detective.
“See something you like, Rus?” I asked as I started the updated puzzle. Sans was watching the board intently, smirking oh so slightly when I moved a piece in seemingly the wrong place, giving me the hint that I needed to move it somewhere else.
He snorted in answer, finally flicking his gaze toward the board as I tried to figure out the solution to Sans’ puzzle by his expressions alone. I could try to figure out the pattern on my own, but watching his face change was far more interesting. He grumbled when the blue light switched on, indicating I had figured out the puzzle and I laughed, surprised that my plan had worked again.
“Okay! This arrangement will certainly confound you!” He didn’t seem discouraged in the slightest, shifting the arrangement of the pieces yet again. His quick movements were interrupted by his phone going off, a jaunty sound that matched his personality perfectly. He reluctantly dug it out of his pocket, frowning when he saw who was calling.
“I’ll be a second,” he said as he left the living room. We watched his retreating figure, his voice annoyed as he answered the phone. I contented myself with creating my own puzzle for him to solve when he came back, a simple arrangement that could be easily figured out by the likes of Sans. I felt Papyrus looking at me again as I searched for some scrap paper to write down my clue.
“Detective, huh?” I hummed in answer, scribbling down a couple of lines of corny poetry for him to figure out later.
“I swear I mentioned it before,” I said when he wouldn’t stop staring. I smiled at my work before finally facing him. He was still staring at me, like I was one of Sans’ puzzles he was trying to work out. I stuck my tongue out at him, dopey and comfortable after the food and the warmth that their home provided, that I didn’t even think about it.
He stuck out an orange tongue in return and my eyes widened at the sight, new questions forming in my mind at the use of magic. I was about to ask when Sans walked back into the room, an annoyed expression on his face. It was so foreign on a place I was used to seeing joy and excitement that my previous questions were replaced with one of concern.
“What’s wrong?”
“Work call,” he waved me off, the expression disappearing with it. “I have to get to the station urgently.”
“Did something happen?” I asked, vaguely remembering what his role in the police department was.
“Nothing to worry about,” he smiled. “I shouldn’t be long. You don’t mind waiting, do you?”
“I don’t mind,” I said, glancing at my phone for the time to find that the night was still young.
“Wonderful!” He beamed and I really did think that everything was fine. He turned towards his brother who had been watching the encounter with that curious expression of his. “I’ll be off, then. Papyrus…?”
Papyrus rolled his eyes at the notion, his face shifting back into a lazy expression. “Yeah, yeah. See you bro.”
Satisfied, he turned on his heel, waving once more before leaving the house. We listened for the click of the door and the disappearance of the roar of his motorcycle before turning to each other.
“What was that all about?” I asked, leaning over to place a cushion in my lap. It suddenly felt very wrong to be in this house with only Papyrus.
He shrugged in answer. “Making sure I don’t set up more pranks while he’s gone.”
I snorted, fully believing that he was capable of that, before the room descended into an almost uncomfortable silence. My previous questions resurfaced as my eyes wandered over him in their travel of the room. He had lifted his feet back onto the couch, a fuzzy pink slipper bouncing rhythmically to his moving foot while his eye sockets were closed. I watched his chest rise and fall and before I could ask how he breathed, an eye peeked open and he smirked at me.
“See something you like, Kate?”
I snorted, a smile creeping onto my face before I asked, “how does that work?” He cocked his head to the side—as best as he could, considering he was lying on the couch—in question.
“Breathing. Your tongue,” I gestured to the entirety of him on the couch. “You. How does it work?”
A shit eating grin grew on his face, and I narrowed my eyes at him warily.
“Magic,” he said, giving me jazz hands. I tossed my cushion at him in response, catching him completely off guard. It landed directly on his face and he flailed in surprise. I laughed at the sight of his surprised expression as the cushion slid off him before it was thrown back to me, knocking me onto my back. I chuckled up at the ceiling before the room descended into quiet again, slightly more comfortable than before, but still distinctly wrong. Craning my neck, I caught sight of the empty shelf beside the TV and wondered whether Papyrus would continue showing me his brother’s puzzles. I thought back to how he watched us go through some of them, an amused look on his face whenever I had struggled, and realised that he probably wouldn’t. With a sigh, I moved to return the boxes where they belonged.
As I placed the final one back, save for the one I had set up for him, I caught sight of the videogames on the other shelf. I perused some of the titles, aware of Papyrus’ gaze on me, as it had been the entire time I was tidying up.
“Never heard of some of these before,” I commented, picking up what looked like a rip off of a generic racing game, if the cars were snails and the words were illegible, at least. I showed the game to Papyrus who shrugged from his recline on the couch.
“Underground Original.”
At that notion, I was inclined to play, more intrigued than anything to see how they made games—and maybe make things a little less awkward. “Can we play?”
He shrugged again before motioning to the TV. Giddy with excitement, I fumbled for the switch before picking up the controllers and passing one to him. He set up the console quickly, opening his account while I watched in wonder as the game set up. It had an overly simplistic eight-bit design with minimal colours and even less story complexity, but it was similar enough to your average racing game that I caught on fairly quickly.
Similar enough that I lost to him time and time again. I blamed it on the fact that I hadn’t played games in ages. I quelled the memory that tried to surface of the last time I played videogames, and instead focused on the next race.
“You still haven’t answered my question, you know,” I said in the middle of another lap.
“You didn’t answer mine,” he replied, hitting my snail with a salt bomb that slowed me down. I grumbled in annoyance as I struggled to catch up. When I was at normal speed again with the help of some healing candy, I asked him what he meant.
“You’re a detective.”
“In training,” I said, ignoring the edge to his voice. It seemed to crop up whenever my work was involved. As I thought back to our first interaction at Muffet’s and the police related conversations we had here, my brows furrowed as we started the final lap, realising something.
“Do you hate cops?”
When he didn’t reply immediately, I turned to watch him, accepting that there was no way I was going to win this round anyway. He had a focused expression on his face as he watched the screen and I almost brushed his silence off for just that. Until I noticed his bouncing leg and I figured he just didn’t want to answer.
Which probably meant that he did hate cops.
I shifted in my seat, not sure how to respond to that. In the silence, he selected a different course when he won the last one and we both picked our snails for the new race. As the timer counted down for the start of the race, I figured a little competitive gaming might incline him to conversation.
“Loser has to answer the winner’s questions,” I said as the race began. He glanced at me in surprise as I leaned forward in seriousness, determined to win this round. He snorted before relaxing further into the couch and if I wasn’t so focused, I would have been offended at his nonchalance.
By the last lap, we were neck and neck, and I was willing my snail to go faster, saving my encouragement boosts for the very end. I barely dodged another bomb, a surprised laugh escaping me as I pushed the praise button, barely beating him to the finish line.
“Huh.” He was looking at the screen in shock, the controller lax in his hands as more surprised laughter escaped me.
“I didn’t agree,” he said, angling a wary look in my direction.
“Relax,” I said through laughs. “I was just gonna ask what other games you guys have.” I wasn’t, but he didn’t look like he would answer my original question.
He gazed at me sceptically before moving to switch out the games in the console. I drummed my fingers on the cushion, trying to stay awake as a food coma beckoned me into its grasp. I watched the title sequence of the new game play out, unfamiliar with the name. As he started a new save file and we went through the tutorial, I realised that it seemed to be a co-op puzzle solving game, the likes of which would impress Sans. He said it was another Underground Original when I asked and I started wondering whether the black and white was a trend with their games.
We played in relative silence, Papyrus occasionally explaining a puzzle when I would get stuck. We managed to get to the third level—the true beginning of the story that was being unfolded as we solved the puzzles—when Papyrus’ phone rang. It was a lazy tune with upbeat punches that had me huffing out laughter through my yawns. I glanced at the time on my own phone, alarmed that it was already past nine and Sans still wasn’t back.
“Sans said to drop you off if you’re tired,” he said once the phone call was over. I blinked a couple of times to register what he said before politely shaking my head.
“I’ll be fine. Is Sans still at the station?” I asked, getting up and stretching. He nodded in answer as he watched my actions carefully. I took a step toward the door and he mirrored my movements. My brows furrowed when it happened again.
“What are you doing?” I asked tiredly.
“Where you going?” he countered.
“Home?”
“I—” he shook his head before continuing. “Sans said to drop you off.”
“And I said I’ll be fine.” I tried moving forward again, but Papyrus wouldn’t let me get to the door. The vague feeling of being trapped came back and I held back a frustrated cry when I was blocked again.
“You’re his guest,” he said, standing in the archway of the living room. “It’s the least he could do. Plus, it’s late.”
I clicked my tongue as I swayed on my feet, really wanting to be in bed right now. My eyes whizzed around the room in search of another exit, but I quickly realised that there was no getting home without an escort. Reluctantly, I accepted the offer, not really wanting to upset Sans. At my surrender, Papyrus went to switch off the game console, saving our progress before doing so. He led me out the house, locking the door behind him then turned to survey the dark street. I followed in his stead, the open space freeing as a cool breeze woke me up enough to realise that we might be teleporting. My stomach twisted and I wrinkled my nose at the thought of losing all the good food I had eaten.
“Are we teleporting?” I asked, hoping that the answer would be no.
“Yup. Where’s your place?” I sighed before telling him the name of my apartment and the street it was on. He hummed in response before suggesting a walk.
“I thought you knew a shortcut,” I said, taking a cautious step back.
His eyes widened slightly and I warily watched him scratch at his hoodie.
“I’ve never been to your apartment,” he started carefully, raising his hands at my defensive stance. The sight made me frown, something about it feeling distinctly wrong. “And the closest shortcut is out of the neighbourhood.”
At his placating response, I relaxed my stance, realising that I may have been overreacting having just had dinner at their place. He dropped his hands, stuffing them into his hoodie before offering me a weak smile and starting down the road. I moved to match his slow gait, letting the cool air sober me more as we walked in silence.
“How do your shortcuts work?” I asked as we finally passed a street lamp. I twisted around to see where the last one had been and frowned at the distance. Under the dim lighting, I barely made out his shit eating grin and I narrowed my eyes at him suspiciously.
“And don’t say magic,” I added, causing him to snicker. He was otherwise silent as we walked, and I had to turn to him a couple of times to make sure that he hadn’t suddenly disappeared on me.
“Know how human shortcuts work?” I nodded my head in answer, startled at the sudden sound. “Same concept.” I listened intently as he explained complex physics to me in layman terms, talking about making pockets in space to get to different places quicker. I watched him gaze at the stars as he spoke, realising that this was the most he’s ever said to me in one go since we met. His voice jumped and faltered, changing pitch occasionally as he cleared his throat often and I found myself smiling as I grasped what he was saying.
“So, it’s not really teleporting after all, huh?” I said once he’d finished explaining. We were still walking and I was beginning to wonder whether we were really slow, or the neighbourhood was just a lot bigger than I thought it was. He nodded his head in answer, scratching at the front of his hoodie before we fell into silence again. It wasn’t long before we stopped just past the last house and he offered out his hand.
“Am I going to puke again?” I asked, wary of going through another shortcut.
“Probably,” he grinned. I sighed before taking his hand, closing my eyes to somehow dull the sensation of silent weightlessness followed by sudden gravity. I kept my eyes shut for a bit longer, clutching at my stomach and urging it to settle down.
When I felt that the food would stay down for a little longer, I opened my eyes, and immediately squinted them at the bright lights. We were near the centre, alright. Looking around to gather my bearings, I noticed we were pretty close to the nursing home I took night shifts at. With that knowledge, I turned around and took charge in the direction of my apartment, wanting to be in the safety of my home before the food started rioting.
“What?” I asked when he kept glancing at me with an odd expression on his face.
I blinked before laughing, the approach of the end of the night combined with the shortcut then the sudden movement making me slightly delirious—and queasy. Or I may have just been surprised that his usually lazy countenance was keeping up with my faster gait.
“Let’s just hurry up,” I replied when my stomach twisted. We walked in silence again, the bright lights of the city disorienting me and my stomach as we moved closer to my apartment quickly.
He whistled as we neared it, and it only occurred to me then how impressive it actually was. Lit up by security lights and the glowing sign, it fit right into the inner city’s dazzling environment and reminded me how dim the monster neighbourhood had been. I frowned at the thought, my stomach twisting in tandem with it.
“You live here,” he started, a surprised look on his face. “On a policeman’s salary?”
I looked up at the building briefly before shifting my gaze back to him. I shrugged in response, an awkward smile on my face. “We’re not even getting paid.”
I regretted it as soon as I said it, his face shifting into wary concern as I kicked myself internally. Ignoring the look, we covered the remaining distance to the entrance quickly where I turned and gave him a forced smile.
“Goodnight Papyrus,” I said, my stomach twisting again in warning. He nodded in response, schooling his expression before turning around to leave.
I watched him take a couple of steps, guilt and nausea writhing in my stomach as I realised that I was overreacting again. Ignoring the warning call to go to the bathroom, I called out to him before he inevitably disappeared.
“We should finish that game sometime,” I said when he turned around expectantly.
He shrugged in response, his expression hard to read in the darkness he had walked into. He raised a two fingered salute before taking a step to the side and disappearing. The sight made me feel sick as I recalled what he had explained to me about shortcuts. Another warning heave from my stomach had me rushing into my apartment quickly, calling out an apology to the owner as I rushed past them.
A visit to the bathroom and a couple of glasses of water later, and I was laying on my bed, collecting myself from the night. I made sure to send Sans a text, gushing over how good the food was and how fun it had been to hang out with them before ruminating over the conversations of the night. I couldn’t deny that Papyrus made me wary as much as he piqued my interest, and if his cautious hostility was anything to go by, then he felt the same.
More wary than interested, anyway.
Groaning, I reluctantly moved from the bed to change into pyjamas and wash off my makeup before collapsing back onto it. I buried my face into the sheets, wanting to somehow block off my running thoughts as my braids splayed around me.
I had started dosing off when I heard my phone ping with a notification. I anticipated a response from Sans, who I’d learned to be a quick communicator over the past week, and whom I realised was probably still at the station. I quickly sent him a concerned text before opening the chat of the notification, my eyebrows rising in surprise when I found it was Papyrus’. Sitting up, I scrolled to the most recent message, rolling my eyes at the duck before reading it. A soft smile crept up on me at the invitation to hang out next week to continue the game we had started.
I responded in the affirmative before grabbing my bonnet and crawling into bed, wondering whether it was a decision made out of caution or intrigue. With a sigh, I finally let the food coma beckon me into a deep sleep.

Masterlist
Yeeesssss!!! Will do!
Here we go. Boys under the cut! Immediate Reader!
***
You were trying to go and find some food for dinner at Wild's request and found some interesting looking berries. They looked like blueberries from your world but there was purple thorns on the bush instead, with yellow trimmed leaves.
You grabbed a few and retraced and marked your steps to find your way back to the bushes. You thought that maybe one of the boys would be able to identify the berries and know if they were actually edible or not.
You stashed them away and grinned to yourself. It was a possibility that they were good but if they weren't- there was other ways to use the berries.
You still needed to find food that your group actually is able to eat if the berries aren't worth anything.
You hear your name being called and it startles you enough to take a step back and look behind you.
You trip on a root and crash against the forest floor- falling onto a separate patch of the same berries. Pollen and dew shoot up from the impact and you're forced to inhale it all in.
There's instant discomfort in your lungs and in your head, and you can already feel the multiple places where the thorns have pierced your skin and ripped your clothes.
You take a while to pry yourself out of the bushes, pain littered in all places you didn't even know you could hurt.
You cough and inhale more of the pollen that hasn't settled yet.
A massive headache begins pounding against your temples and back of your head.
You hear your name being called once more but this time in concern and blink away what you can. You groan and try your best to stand, falling to one knee in a coughing fit with pain and discomfort all throughout your joints and muscles.
You look up and smile despite it, a slight giggle of hysteria on your lips. "Hi Link! Guess what I found!"
Warrior "Oh sweet name of the three, what happened to you?" You see Warrior walk up to you and reach out his hand.
You giggle again and reach out to him. He grabs you and tries to lift you back onto your feet but your legs gives out from beneath you and you fall again.
"Hello~!" You lift out your hand and show him the berries. "You know if theses are good or not?"
"Nope." Warrior smacks them out of your hand with a backhanded swing. "Those are known for being highly toxic in.... depressant... components... Don't tell me you ate them?"
You grin and shake your head. "Nope! I didn't know if they were good or not...but I fell~!"
Warrior's face does that thing where he looks concerned but is only marginally capable of hiding it. "On the plant?"
"Link, you're so smart!" You get to your feet and fall nearly on top of him. Warrior is quick to catch you and hold you with his hands on your waist and you grin up at him, adoration pooled in your eyes. "That's what I did~! Man, you're so strong. You're stronger than I thought you were. Your arms are so toned too. I didn't think you had this much muscle."
"Ok. Let's get you to Sky." Warrior rolls his eyes and begins to more or less drag you away from the plants and back to where you think the group is. "Or maybe Four, this is his Hyrule anyway. Maybe he'll know how to get you fixed up."
"See, this is why I like you so much. You're always so fast to come up with a plan and you're so caring. You're so smart. You're so great." You giggle and try to follow his footsteps but find it really hard to put one foot in front of the other.
After what felt like a few seconds, (but was really ten minutes of Warrior fighting you and gravity (not successfully) to keep you upright), Warrior gives up on your non cooperative limbs and picks you up bridal style and begins to carry you away from the infested area.
"Link, I love you."
"I love you too." Warrior waves you off with a playful roll of his eyes.
"No.. but I really love you!" You insist, getting loud for no reason and place your hands on his face. You give him a squish and lean into his space. "You have to understand this. I would do anything to you."
"I know you would." He laughs. "I'd do anything for you too."
He shakes his head out of your hands and grins at you. "I think you're a little drunk from the plants toxins."
"Nuh-uh." You pout. "I'm too strong for that. I'm completely........ ok."
"I believe you." Warrior bites his lip trying to keep his cool before he absolutely looses it. He's both touched by your words and concerned for your well being. He supposes you're more or less drunk and loopey. It's not the most desirable circumstance but he's sure that those cuts on your skin and tears on your clothes can be handled more easily than the up coming hangover.
You fall silent after a second and look up at him. You poke his cheek and his nose and grin, hugging him close and snuggling into his chest and neck. "Has anyone ever told you that you're very handsome?"
"I think that's the more common compliment." He admits.
"And your eyes are very pretty and very blue and you have very long eye lashes and it's all very pretty. And you have a strong jaw."
"Do I?"
"So strong and sharp- it could cut glass." You say seriously. "And your hair always looks very soft and shiny and silky and I want to play with it but I don't want to make things weird. And you're so cool! You're so smart. You're so nice. And you're great with kids and people and everyone likes you so much, so quickly and it's so cool to watch you work and fight and-"
"You're going to keep going forever unless I stop you, aren't you?" Warrior swallows and tries to fight his upcoming blush. He had thought that you were joking for a moment but the more you talk the more it hits that you're being genuine.
You furrow your brows and hit him with the most innocent doe eyes you don't know that you have. "Do you want me to stop?"
Warrior almost trips at that way his heart skips a beat and he chuckles awkwardly. "Actually... No. It's ok. I don't mind."
"You deserve the world, Link." You say finally and go back to resting with your head in the crook of his neck. "I just wish that you could see that, you stubborn man."
"I'll... try my best."
"Good."
Time "Oh no." Time sighs and makes his way over to you. "What happened? Are you hurt?"
"My head hurts." You admit and drop the berries from your palm to cradle your temple. "I was trying to look for food... I think I found it but I also... don't."
Time kneels in front of you and places the back of his hand on your forehead. He hisses at the temperature and places his hand under your chin. "Why do you keep finding yourself in situations like this?"
"You boys keeping putting me situations like this." You mutter and try to stand. Your legs fail you and Time lurches in front of you in order to catch you.
"Do you see me as a boy?" Time raises an eyebrow.
"NOT that I'm complaining." You ignore his question and pat his face. "I love you guys, so much but like...This is what happens when I care about people. I end up in stupid situations."
"Maybe Four will have somethin to help out this." Time admits and picks you up without any further thought. "Let get you some help."
"Link, you're so great." You sigh and press your forehead against the crook of his head. His heartbeat is strong and he's cooler than you thought so you sigh in contentment.
"You're so calm and I always feel safe around you and you give the best hugs." You grin against his ear and Time has to stifle the upcoming chuckles from his chest.
"Do I?"
"The best hugs." You reiterate and snuggle closer. "You can ask Wind, he'll agree."
"I'm sure he will." Time let's a snort pass and he nods to Four as he passes. "They fell in a berry bush."
"Blue berries! With pretty leaves and thorns!" You cry out with an arm outstretched to the sky. "Not good for food, no no no, but good."
"Well... I'll start the antidote." Four sighs and walks away to his pack, immediately digging through it for the ingredients that will help you out.
"Four!" You sing and turn your head back into Time's neck. "Isn't Time the best? He's so strong and gentle and nice and he's so great."
Time lets more laughter fall from his lips as he places you on the ground next to his supplies. He says your name with a slight whine and begins to beg. "Please."
"Beeeeeesst hugs." You ignore him.
Four snickers from the other side of the camp and pulls out a bottle.
"I adore you Old Man. I don't think you get told that enough." You continue. "Like, you always try so hard to be a good person. You've gone through so much and you had no reason to start your adventure or to keep helping people and doing stuff but you care so much so you're here still and I think-"
Oh no, Time thinks, you're crying.
"Ok, ok, it's ok." time kneels next to you and puts your hair behind your ear. "No need to be upset. I'm here and everything's ok."
"But you've been hurt so much!" You pout, tears pooling in your eyes. "And yet you're still here and no one thanks you and you try so hard to watch over all of us and even then-"
"That's enough." Time frowns slightly and shakes his head. "I'm just doing what I'm supposed to."
"No one is making you." You pout and lay down on the ground. "You're not listening to me."
"Believe me, I am."
"Here." Four comes up to you and hands you a little bottle filled with viscous green liquid. "Drink this."
"I don't wanna." You pout. "I don't feel good."
"It'll make you feel better." Four tries again, before Time takes the bottle from his hands and uncorks it.
"Drink it." He says, in a tone which means there no room for argument.
"You're such a dad." You complain and grab it from his hand, placing it to your lips and begin sipping it slowly.
Time shakes his head and runs a hand through his hair. "What are we going to do with you?
Wild "Oh boy, I don't think these are good for eating." He says with a slight grimace. "We should probably not get near these. Let's go clean you up, yeah?"
"WIILLDD!!" You grin and reach your grabby hands in his direction. "Beautiful boy, how are you today~?"
Wild coughs a little and tries to hide his discomfort by avoiding eye contact. "I'm... fine... How are you?"
"Everything hurts~" You admit and look up at him with pleading eyes. "Carry me?"
"Oh boy, sure, why not?" He sighs and wraps around your shoulders and hooks the other under your knees, carrying you effortlessly through the thicket.
"How did this even happen?" He asks out of curiosity.
"I heard you call my name and fell."
"Fell where?"
"In the bush." You mumble with a pout and cross your arms. "It's all pokey and my clothes are ripped and I think I'm bleeding."
Wild bite his lip and hisses. "Sorry."
" 's not you're fault." You look up at him and pat his face. "You're too nice. I just wanted to help and got hurt like stupid me tends to do."
"You're not stupid." Wild scolds you gently. "You are incredibly smart."
"You're the smart one."
"Think so? I think some of the other will disagree."
"Well they can eat my shoes."
Wild coughs out a laugh again in a vain attempt to hide how uncharacteristically serious that was for you and how the unexpectedness of it made him lose it on the inside. "I don't think those would taste good."
"No.... But I need them so maybe they eat my hat instead." You nod to yourself in full serious before gasping slightly. "They should eat Legend's hat instead, then they'll really be sorry."
"Oh my god." Wild snorts and goes to cover his face before remembering that he's holding you.
He jostles' you in the process and the movement cause your headache to flare up. You whine and put a hand to your temple. "It hurts."
"Really?"
"Yeah."
Wild frowns and puts the information away for later. "We'll get you back to camp and figure something out ok, maybe you should take it easy for a little bit."
"Link, you're so good to me. I don't deserve it."
"I think you do- I say you do and I'm going to tell Time to keep you down until you feel better."
"Noooo."
"Yeeesss."
"But you're always doing something for someone else, who's going to help you with dinner?" You complain and flop your arms around- regrettably because your head ache flares up once more. "Oh, ouch, ouchies..."
"I think I'll be fine." Wild rolls his eyes. "I've done it before I can do it again."
You hum sadly and shimmy your way into his arm to get more comfortable. "You're a good person. You're so smart. I love hanging out with you. You know that? You're so fun to be around and talk to and you're always so.... good."
Wild looks down on you momentarily before returning to the the forest ahead of him. "Thank you."
"I wish..." You start and cut yourself off. "I wish there was more I could do help you. You help so many people- I think there's someone in every stable in your Hyrule that you've helped... not to mention all of Hateno Village and like- you built Terry Town... It's so good-you're good. I wish more people were good."
"Are people not good?" Wild asks you as he walks through the green.
"I like to think that some are. I don't get to meet a lot of them." You admit and settle your head against his shoulder. "My home's not as nice as here."
"I'm sorry to hear that."
"I'm going to miss you guys."
"We're going to miss you too." Wild replies automatically.
"I think I'll miss you most." You hum and close your eyes. "Good people should get good things and you didn't get a lot of good things... Someone should fix that. I want to fix that."
Wild doesn't respond.
Twilight
“Oh!” Twilight winces. “I should have warned you about those. Four told me they’d be in the area and that we’d have to avoid them. You ok?”
“I fell... in the bush.” You pout and begin to sag your shoulders. Guess they weren’t edible after all.
Seems like they’re quite bad actually.
“I’m sorry.” You sniffle and try ignore the tears beginning to pool in your eyes. “I didn’t mean too. I’m in trouble, aren’t I?”
“Well no, not exactly.” Twilight rushes to your side at the side and brushes off whatever leaves and twigs he can see from your clothes. “Does anything hurt?”
“A lot of things hurt Twi.”
“Can you be a little more specific?” He tries, with a small tilt to his head.
“My head... and I think there’s a lot of tiny cuts on my arms and back.” You try to stand again and Twilight is quick to help you with a stabilizing hand on the small of your back. “There’s more thorns in the bushes than I thought there’d be.”
“Ok, we’ll get those looked at ok. Four should have something to help you in the mean time.” Twilight takes a few steps with you, wrapping an arm over your shoulder when he realizes you’re more intoxicated than he thought.
You put your full weight against him without realizing it and place your head on his shoulder. “Twilight?”
“Yes?”
“I appreciate you so much.” You take a breath and sigh. “You’ve been the first person there to help me out with whatever this adventure seem to throw at me. You’re always taking care of others... like Wild and Wind and Legend and I know you look up to Time but so many of us are looking up to you too and I guess I want to say thank you. There’s a lot of good in your heart and I’m glad I get to see it.”
“I appreciate you too.” He says in reply.
“But I don’t do anything.”
“I’d beg to differ.”
“You’re too dignified to beg. I don’t think you’d ever have it in you.” You grin. “I admire the way you hold yourself and don’t let anyone talk down to you- like that guy in that old Castle Town- or where ever we were. And like, you can throw a good punch too. I thought you broke that guys jaw!”
“Admittedly... Not one of my greater moments.” Twilight hisses at the memory. Time gave him a nasty look for that one and he’s still working off the penalty for it.
“It was super cool though.” You cock your head to the side, looking at his profile as you stumble through the forest growth. “He totally deserved it, don’t let Time let you think otherwise. I was tempted to punch him too or get get Wild and let him go crazy against the guy.”
“Wild probably would have set him on fire.”
“It would have been funny.”
“No it wouldn’t have.”
“Not to the guy, maybe.” You giggle. “But see, you’re always thinking about others and how’d they react and how to go about things that makes you so smart and you’re so cool.”
“Thank you.” Twilight stops the two of you for a moment and readjusts his grip on you. “Are you feeling any better?”
“No. My head hurts.”
“Well, we’re almost there and then we can get started on fixing this ok?”
“Ok.” You mumble and go back to mostly resting against the country boy.
“You’re really great with animals too.” You say randomly. “I’ve never a horse that close with its rider or how all the cats just gravitate towards you.”
“The cat thing I’ll admit is special to me, but are you trying to tell me that the horses of your world aren’t treated right? Because they bond really well with humans and dogs alike.”
“Why dogs?”
“Uh-”
“Well everybody likes dogs, I guess that’s a given. It's not even a question really. I don't know why I asked.” You shrug.
“Yup. That’s what I meant.”
“And no, well I don’t know... I don’t see a lot of horses in my home world so maybe you’re right and I just have bad examples.”
“Of course I’m right.” Twilight says with a grin. “Horses are great!”
“You’re great Link.” You try to hide your laughter at how genuine and boyish he sounded. “I’d take you over a horse any day.”
“Well I’d hope so.”
Wind
"What is it?" Wind tilts his head and steps into your direction, trying to piece together what happened to you with what little information he has. "You look like you got in a fight... and lost."
"I fell the bush of these berries! Look!" You grin beyond the pain in your head and hold your hand out.
Wind walks up to you and picks one up between his fingers, twisting it around before looking back at you. "Are these safe to eat?"
"I have no idea." You answer honestly. "I was going to as Wild if he knew but then I fell in this bush and got hurt so I gotta go get myself checked out."
"Well that explains why your clothes are torn." Wind snorts a little and holds his hand out. "Do you need help?"
You hum and try to examine yourself from the inside. Your head is killing you but you feel loopey and uncentered.
Maybe some help would be nice.
"Yes, please." You take his hand and let him pull you up. "Thank you Link."
"No problem." He grins. "Can you get back to the camp on your own?"
You hum again and try to take a step forward. But your knee buckles from beneath you and you fall the ground again. "Ow."
"Ok, guess not." Wind is by your side within seconds and helps you back to your feet. "That's ok! I'll just help you get to the others and maybe someone will know how to fix you."
"Yay." You giggle and lean on the boy. "Have I ever told you how great you are?"
"No." Wind grins and starts to lead the way. "I don't think you have."
"That's a shame. Shame on me. Because you are one of the best kids I think I've ever met. Don't let anyone change you, ok? You are.... so fun to be around and I'm so glad I met you and I'm going to miss you when this is all over and I think I'm going to try-"
"You think you're going to cry?" Wind looks up at you.
"No no... maybe." You tilts your head and close your eyes, putting your full trust and weight on Wind's shoulders. "I just... you're so good. And you're so happy and excited to see all these new things and I wish I was like that when I was your age, you know?"
"Uh-"
"And I hope that you get to do and see so many amazing things, Link. You're going to change your world, I know it and I'm sad that I won't get to see it."
"Hey-"
"You can't let anyone bully you, ok? There's a lot of people that would want to break your spirit and your joy and there's a lot of things that we want to do to keep you the way you are but there's only so much we can shield you from. I know you don't like it. I know you think you can't take it. But you shouldn't have to. You should have never had to. You should have had a chance like all the other boys and girls to be young and have a childhood and just be a kid but I'm so proud of you." You say and stop the two of you for a moment, pulling Wind in what you try to be a crushing hug.
"You're incredible, you know that?" You lean back and put your hands on his shoulders. "Link, listen, no matter what any else will ever tell you, we adore you. I think you're everyone's favorite, ok? There's so many things I want to show you myself if the Captain would let me.... I doubt he will because there not exactly things kids your age should know. Like throwing knives and hand to hand combat... But I think we both agree that it's all waaaay past that point. So anything goes!"
"Will you really teach me?" Wind lights up at the thought and be jumps a little on his toes in excitement.
"If you're up for it.. I'm sure that others will try to fight me though."
"I'll fight them."
"I don't doubt that pirate."
"What are you two talking about?" Warrior steps up and places his hands on his hips. "We heard you talking but missed it. What is.... what happened to you?"
"I'm just telling Wind how amazing he is and how much I love him and adore him and how cool he is for a thirteen year old and how I couldn't even come close to that when I was his age so I'm a bit jealous-"
"They fell in some freaky looking berry bush and I think they're poisoned." Wind explains over you. "They're acting a little loopey."
"I am. ONE HUNDRED PERCENT OK." You shout and push yourself away from Wind, staggering on your feet and eventually falling on your butt onto the forest floor.
The sudden movement flares up your headache and your neck muscles stiffen around your shoulders, making it hard to move your head. "Oh, ow.... My head... That was a mistake. Mistakes were made."
Warrior hisses and sigh after watching you suffer for a hot second. "Alright, I'll go wrangle up some supplies. Can you take them back to camp on your own, Sailor?"
"I was already doing that." Wind raises an eyebrow.
"Alright then, then go back to doing that." Warrior smirks a little. "I'll be back."
He then nods a bit and walks away from your duo as Wind makes his way over to where you fell, pulling you back to your feet and wrapping your arm over his shoulders. "Did you mean what you said?"
"What did I say?" You try to twist your head around to loosen up your muscle and it only slightly works.
"Well... everything you said about me. Did you mean it?"
"I don't remember." You frown and furrow your eyebrows. "Probably... If it's all good things, then yes. Because you are good. And you deserve good things. And you might be the little brother I never had... but I wish you were my brother. You're cool. You're great. I love hanging out with you man."
Wind smiles softly and sits you down on a free spot once you reach camp again. "I can be your brother, it's ok."
"Awesome!"
Sky
"And what exactly did you find?" Sky raises an eyebrow when he sees you. He recognizes the plant but can't remember what it does or why he's seen it before.
"Hm... I don't think that's good." He sighs and walks over to you, picking you up with a sturdy hands on your elbows. "Are you ok?"
"A lot of things hurt right now." You admit. "Are the berries not good?"
"Let's assume they aren't." Sky smiles a bit and wraps arm around your waist to keep you from falling. "I think you should get someone to look at you."
"You have really long eye lashes." You blurt out and gently bring your hand to cup his face. "And I've never noticed how blue your eyes are."
"Ok, those berries defiantly aren't good." Sky snorts and picks your hand off of his face. "Let's get you back to camp, ok?"
"You're like... one of the nicest people here, you know that?"
"Well I certainly try to be."
"And you're always thinking of others and you're so good." You lean against him, putting your full weight onto his side. "I'm so sorry that you have to be here instead of your home. You're so important to so many people Link."
"You think so?"
"I know so." You pat his head with what little arm you reach. "You're at the start of this whole thing... You are... the whole reason Hyrule, as everyone knows it, exists to begin with. It all starts with you. Not everyone has that kind of legacy you know."
"Is that really my legacy?" Sky looks over to you and you grin brightly in his direction.
"Well aside from the stories of the hero I've always heard so much about growing up there's also like the hero lineage as well. Not to mention you also father... the whole Hyrule Royal Family Line. So I'd say you're pretty important. and your legacy is pretty big."
Sky stops abruptly and the suddenness of it sends you right onto the ground. "I'm the start of the line?"
"OOOWWW!!! SKY!" You whine and cradle your head with both of your hands. "That hurt! Why did you do that?"
"Sorry sorry sorry." Sky bends down and helps you back up, readjusting his grip on you a few times to make sure that even if he loses his grip again, he won't be sent careening onto the floor. "That was an accident. I did not mean to do that."
"That was mean."
"It wasn't on purpose I swear."
"Promise?" You rolled your head over and rest it on his shoulder.
"Promise." Sky bite his lip to hold in his laughter. "I'd never do that to you on purpose, not like this."
"Ok. I believe you." You nod. "I think if you really wanted to hurt me, you would have sent your army of birds against me or something."
"I do not have an army of birds."
"But you're building one."
"No, I'm not."
"You are though. Maybe not on purpose... Maybe you don't realize it. You do know that birds flock to you right?" You blinks your eyes up at him. "It's a crazy thing to witness. I think you could easily rule to world with nothing but cuccos by your side."
"What is it with you guys and the cuccos? What did they ever do to you?"
"I can't speak for the others but I say with full certainty that my Zelda has a wicked streak sometime and she was mercilessly attacked by them one day."
"Oh my goodness"
"I told her to leave them alone but noooo, she had to keep hittin' the poor thing and look where it got her. Those little things are ruthless and should be feared. She won't touch them with a ten foot pole now." You nod your head to your story as if you were telling Sky some age old wisdom.
"Does that mean the others-?"
"Most likely." You snort. "Serves them right."
"That would explain that."
"Sky, I'm really glad I know you... as a person and as a friend. I think you're really talented and great and good and I'm so happy you're here."
"I'm glad I met you too." Sky grins and waves over someone from the camp to come help him.
"You're my favorite ok, don't tell the others." You wink in his direction and let yourself be taken away from his side.
"Oh jeeze, thanks." Twilight snorts and picks you up bridal style, taking you further into the camp and laying you down by the small fire they've started.
"I'll take that secret to my grave." Sky smirks.
Twilight huffs a little and stands to leave. "You can take care of them then."
"That was the plan."
"Sky is a brave boy." You mumble from where you've been placed and reach out to him. "He deserves better than watching over a sick sack of potatoes. He's good at helping people. Someone has to make sure that he doesn't push himself too hard. He'll over work himself and then there would no more Sky and the world will be to dark to recover. There's no way we can lose Sky. He's too good."
"Have they been like the whole time?"
"Pretty much." Sky shrugs.
"I think I'm going to throw up." You mumble and try to push yourself upright.
The boys then scramble to try and manage the approaching problem.
It's going to be a long night.
Legend
"Oh for the love of- you look like you took a swim through the underbrush. What did you do?" Legend groans and comes to stand in front of you.
"I went for a swim?" You blink up at him, confused and a little disoriented still. "Is that what happened? I'm not wet... Am I?"
"You're joking." Legend raises an eyebrow and and places the back of his hand against your forehead. "Ok, maybe not."
"I can not believe the legend himself has graced me with his presence." You giggle and try to stand- not very successfully. "What a joyous day indeed."
"What on earth are you talking about?" Legend kneels next to you and takes one of your arms, lifting it up and wrapping it around his shoulders. "You're acting weird... weirder than usual anyway."
"But I love you Legend!" You cry and wrap your other arm around him. It's a clumsy hug and Legend almost throws you off. But considering you can barely stand on your own feet with his support, he supposes some more wouldn't hurt.
If he likes it then he doesn't say anything.
"I think you love the idea of me." He grumbles. "I'm not that great."
"See, you say that but it's not true!" You grin and nuzzle your head against his. "You put on this big tough attitude and your defensive but you love us and we love you and I know you sometimes slip more food onto Wind's pate when he's still hungry but he won't go for seconds. Or how you sneak potions and healing items into our bags when we're not looking and I know you gave Hyrule some of those magic rings of yours to protect him. Or how you banter with Warrior because you try to keep his stress levels low because he gets flashback of the war and we all know he feels responsible for us even if he has no reason to be. You're quick to point out any puzzles that Four misses... magic eyes and all that."
"Have you been watching me?" He snaps and tries to make his embarrassment with anger.
"Yes, because I find you interesting and I've been wanting to get to know you better but you're one prickly pear." You poke his nose and try to keep walking. "You don't let me."
It's difficult.
"I know you've been watching what weapons Wild goes through and keep track of what he's been using the most, what he's most comfortable with... I think you want to get him something..."
"I'm an apprentice blacksmith... I want to see if there's something that will survive that wild rat." He grumbles.
"Ooohh!! Even better! you want to make him something!"
"I hope your fever erases this from your memory... Make it into one big fever dream."
You laugh and try to hide the grimace from your pounding head. "I know you've helped Twilight with something- he seems a little lighter but I don't know what. And I know you've been watching how much sleep the Old Man gets and I know you've been helping him with it. I know you're watching how much Sky has been fighting and how much he travels and you're quick watch his health and his breathing problems."
"Should I be concerned that you've been watching me this much? Because if it were any other person I'd be fighting you and getting a restraining order. It's weird." Legend huffs and hoists you up a little more, trying to keep you from falling.
"You help so many people." You hiccup and groan, the pain in your head becoming a little more than you can hide. "You're always watching everybody else's back. You don't watch your own."
"Who says that?"
"You take care of everyone else but yourself." You whine and hide your face against his shoulder. "But I've been watching your back. It's ok. I know you wouldn't like it but I care about you too much to let you hurt yourself. Someone has to take care of you if you won't do it yourself."
"I can take care of myself!"
"But you don't."
"Hey!"
"MMmm... Don't yell please." You wince and grip his tunic tighter.
Legend stops for a moment and finally looks at your face. It's flushed completely red and you're beginning to have sweat roll down the side of your head. Legend bites his lip and hides the pause behind the pretend need to adjust his grip.
He can't tell if you've gotten better or worse but he's going to bet worse.
"I'll go get Time. Maybe we can figure how to fix this, ok?" Legend gulps a little and returns to dragging you across the forest.
"Ok."
"The things I do for you people."
"You're a good person."
"Hm."
"Link?"
"What?"
"Thank you." You mumble, right into his ear. "We don't say it often but thank you."
Legend feel the tips of his ears go a little pink and he scoffs. "Don't thank me for anything. I didn't do anything."
"You're a good person."
"I'll chock this up to the fever talking."
Hyrule
Hyrule hisses sharply and can already feel the ominous foreshadowing of the hours to come. "Did you get in a fight? Are you hurt? You're bleeding, that's a dumb question, don't answer that."
"Rule!" You reach your hand out. "Best booooy!!! Hello sweet heart, how are you?"
"What happened to you?" He kneels down beside you and begins to heal the miniscule cuts around your arms and your back. He can feel the magic go down your legs and heal what was torn there and come back up to work on the worst of it.
It's a little more damage that he'd like to admit out loud and he's a little worried that there's monsters nearby that would have caught the scent of your blood.
"I fell in the bush... trying to get berries to eat... I was supposed to find food for Wild to cook but I don't think I can do that any more. It's not good that there's not much to forage." You mumble, relaxed by the suddenness of your pain being relieved and the cuts you've sustained leaving your body.
Hyrule frowns and stops his spell. It's a shame he can't do anything about your clothes.
"I feel funny." You say and lean backwards, over judging the distance and force and nearly send yourself back into the bush behind you.
Hyrule snatches your tunic before you can do that and pulls you toward him. "Be careful... Did the bush do this?"
"I dunno." You shrug and frown as you feel the pain begin to come back. "Are you here to bring me back?"
"I might have to regardless. I think you've been poisoned by the plants."
"I feel funny, not dead."
"Well, let's hope that it doesn't come to that." Hyrule rolls his eyes and wraps your arm around his shoulders. "Come on. We need to get you checked out and see if there's anyway to help you."
He's trying to stay calm... but he hopes that it's mostly you being loopey and not actually in any danger. He doesn't recognize the plant- but he supposes that's a given since it's not his Hyrule and he doesn't know the scale of the dangers around here.
"I have a headache again." You groan and don't even try to help Hyrule in lifting you up.
"I... can't really do anything about that. Sorry." Hyrule sighs and readjusts his grip to lift you higher.
This time you do put a little more effort in standing up and slowly, you begin to make your way back to the camp.
"I'm sorry you have to deal with me right now." You mumble and lean against him. "There's so many others things you could be doing right now."
"I don't mind. I'd rather you be ok than do anything else."
"You're a good person." You roll your head back and look at his side profile. "I hope you get every good thing the universe has to offer Link. May your life be filled with peace and happiness and all sorts of good things."
"Like what?" Hyrule finds himself asking. It stuns him and for a moment and he wonders if he's asking because he doubts he'll have it or if it's merely to get you to elaborate more.
"Like many friends and family and holidays and puppies and kitties and candy and good food and good company and cupcakes and lemonade-" You begin to list off.
Hyrule looks back on his life and the people he's met and everything that's happened to him up until this very moment. Enough so that he ignores the rest of your list and only tunes back in when you've past onto a slightly different topic.
"There's so many little things to enjoy in life, you know. I know you're humble and underestimate yourself and I'm trying to change that because you're absolutely amazing and there's a lot you should be proud and show off a little more because you deserve it but I wish you'd let us show you that. " You roll your head around again and try to match your footsteps to his despite the fog in your brain.
You keep talking.
"It might be presumptuous to say this but I think this group may have been the best thing to have happened to you. And that makes me a little sad."
Hyrule stumbles a little and you follow suit. "Sorry, sorry."
"It's ok. You'd never hurt anyone unless they deserved it." You mumble and try to fight against the now pounding sensation in your head.
"Hurting?"
"Yeah... My headache got worse."
"I'm sorry."
"You apologize too much." You groan. "I can't wait to see the day where you do something completely outrageous and just own it, just unapologetically decide that this is the hill you're going to die on and fight every one else about it."
"That sounds like a lot of effort." Hyrule snorts and raises an eyebrow.
"I can't to see what is the stick that takes you there."
"I don't think that's how the saying goes."
"It is now. I said so."
"Of course. Naturally." Hyrule snorts.
"Link, we're friends right?"
Hyrule nearly stumbles again but catches himself this time. "Of course we are! Whatever made you think otherwise?"
"Nothing." You admit. "But I'd to be the kind of person that's on the list of good things your life. Like that list I was talking about earlier."
"I say you are." Hyrule nods to himself and sees the camp in the distance. Relief flows over him and he nearly sags from it. A smiles graces his face as he turns to you and lets you lean on him a little more. "And I'd die on that hill."
Four
"Oh no no no no no, not good, not good at all!" Four hisses and runs to your side. "Did you eat any? Please tell me you didn't."
"Are they not good?" You tilts your head and try to keep your vision on Four but it's kind of hard to focus on just one of him. You don't remember there being so many Fours.
"No! You're not supposed to eat them! They're highly toxic!" Four grips your shoulders and begins to look over your face and check your eyes.
"Did you eat any?" He asks again, stressing the question more than you think is necessary.
You shake your head.
"Oh thank Hylia."
"I feel in the bush though."
Four groans enough that it sound more like a subdued scream. "Why?"
"I tripped." You giggle and try to stand up. "I heard my name AND FELL~! Hehehehe.."
"Ok. This..." Four sighs and looks around your surroundings for a second. He doesn't find what he's looking for. "...is not ideal."
" 'm sorry." You say and feel your lip start to wobble a little bit. "I didn't mean too."
"No. It's my Hyrule. I should have warned you guys. This is my fault." Four scoots in your direction and wraps his arms under your knees and behind your back.
He effortlessly lifts you up bridal style and doesn't hesitate to begin carrying you back to camp. "Time is going to have my head for this."
"No, he likes you too much." You blinks away what you can and try to think beyond the simple thoughts in front of you. "Everyone likes you. you're a likable person."
"Well thank you, but believe me. There are people who don't me." Four says with a snicker.
"Who are they? I'll fight them. Just say their names."
"You don't know them." Four furrows his eyebrows and chuckles disbelievingly.
"I can find them. And then I'll fight them. How dare they not like you!" You shout to the sky and wave your arm around like it's nobody's business. "You're one of the coolest people I know! That I've ever met! And I've met a lot of people! I've met this group! And you're still the coolest! Tell me their names, Link. I won't stand for this."
"It's not a big deal."
"I'm about to make it one."
"I won't tell you their names." Four shakes his head. Mostly because they're gone already so who cares.
"Then point your fingers Smithy because I'll find them and you won't have to worry about them any more." You say with so much resolution in your voice that Four has to stop himself from laughing out loud.
"Believe me, I don't worry about them."
"Oh so someone else got to them then. Good good."
He loses and laughs anyway. "No, not like that."
"There should be only people who love Link! Link haters are not allowed or welcome! Begone with those thoughts!" You cling to him weakly and Four has to grip you tighter to compensate for your flailing.
"Hold still, you're making this harder than it needs to be." Four snorts and shakes his head. "I deserve this. I deserve this and everything that's about to come. I know it. This is completely my fault."
"It's not your fault my head's hurting." You argue and frown. Because it's true. Your head ache tat you've been sporting since the start of your conversation has grown and it's beginning to be impossible to ignore.
"It kind of is, considering that it's a byproduct of the brumble bush." Four sighs. "Luckily, the antidote is pretty easy to make. The down side is that I'm not sure if I have all the ingredients and we're a little too far away from town to get more. I wonder if Hyrule can do something with his magic to help out... or at least lessen the effects so that it wears off."
"Will it last long?" You mumble and cradle your head in your hand. "I don't like this, Link."
"I don't like this either." He says. "If you didn't eat any of it than you should be fine in a few hours and it'll wear off on it's own but I don't think you want to be like this any longer than you have to be."
"Man, Link you're so smart. You know so much." You sigh and rest what you canon his shoulder. "I'm so glad I'm your friend... that we're friends and I want to keep being your friend. Can we keep being friends? Is it possible to be friends throughout different lifetimes?"
"I don't know but we can certainly try." Four grins and makes it back to camp a little easier now that you're so riled up. "I'm glad we're friends too."
"Yay!" You giggle and lay on the ground with little fan fair and with little convincing. "There's no much we have to do still... as friends and as a group. I love you guys!"
"And we love you!" Four snorts. "Get some sleep- it'll go faster. I'll wake you up when I have the antidote."
"Ok Smithy." You let your head hit the ground and close your eyes.
Four looked over his shoulder to where you are and smiles a little wistfully.
Until Time make his way to camp and eyes your torn and slightly bloody clothes before turning to Four with a raised eyebrow.
Four hisses again and raises his hand. "I can explain."
"You better."

Your New Family (SBI!Family x gn!reader) Part 2
Hello again, You guys really liked the first part so... here we are.  part 1
Warning: angst!! implied cursing
Time skip to when the twins are 21, y/n is 20, and Tommy is 18. So, a fifteen-year time skip.
- you have learned that the earlier you wake up the better - if you wake up earlier, you can get your breakfast in peace, and call dibs on the bathroom - so most mornings, you get up a couple minutes before your brothers to grab breakfast - Dadza is usually awake and is the one who made breakfast. He loves making pancakes with chocolates or blueberries - istg, even TECHNO asks for fun designs with the stuff       - Tommy = chocolate chips, blueberries, strawberries, and maple syrup. He wants everything       - Wilbur = he either gets plain pancakes or pancakes with a decent amount of strawberries too       - Technoblade = chocolate chip pancakes with a couple strawberries on top. but he likes to create fun designs (secretly)       - Philza = blueberry pancakes with syrup       - you get whatever you want (ofc)
- ever since Philza first found you, Techno has been super protective of you - for that reason, he has mandatory training lessons with you - you’re actually really good, which surprises everyone (even yourself) - it’s hilarious, tho - you and Techno have actual conversations as you swing weapons made to kill at each other basically what happens: Techno: You’re sword skills are literal shit, I can’t believe we kept you Y/n: *laughing* *knows he’s joking* I mean, we kept Tommy so... Tommy, from somewhere else: I HEARD THAT! - you and techno have surprisingly deep conversations at random times too - I do think that c!Techno is socially awkward and has trouble holding a conversation, but I do really think that once Tech is comfortable with you, he’d have little to no issues - Also, the Voices love you, so he isn’t as scared of hurting you - in fact, he’d rather hurt himself a million times over that cause you a single scratch (the Voices are very protective of you) - You also help Techno with the voices - when they get really intense, you guys will sneak out to the forest right by the house and just sit and talk - sometimes, Techno talks more and you listen - sometimes, you talk more and Technoblade listens - but Techno’s favorite thing, is when you recite the Greek Mythology stories he would tell you (before bed when you both were younger) all the while, braiding his hair - if you were ever stressed, he’d return the favor; telling you and epic Greek tale as he braids your hair (assuming it’s long enough. if it isn’t, imagine he’s just running his finger through it repeatedly) - there was one time when Dream managed to kidnap you to use you as leverage against Wilbur. - everyone was shocked when you got kidnapped because you were such a capable fighter that something truly horrible had to happen for you to be taken - Techno was absolutely FERAL  - her nearly killed Wilbur in his rage       - “Your idiotic ideals and egotistical goals are what got our sibling kidnapped. If they die because you failed, I’m going to kill you, Wilbur. Remember, Blood for the Blood God.” - he fights tooth and nail to get you back - when he sees you again, he actually cries (much to his embarrassment and everyone else’s utter shock) - keep in mind, you’ve been tortured for information for two weeks straight so... you aren’t exactly in your best shape - when he pulls back from his bear hug to look you over he growls, eyes darkening - “I am going to kill Dream.” - You hug him with as much strength as you can muster and say “thank you for rescuing me. I’m okay now” - He is so protective, but also knows to give you your space after that incident - when everyone else betrays him or leaves him, you stay. He also stays with you. (It’s a mutual stay-ing) - you guys are always there for each other
- You and Wilbur have always been less close, but you still have an amazing relationship - You’re the first person he talks to about his new songs, and he gets so excited about them it’s so cute - He will not hesitate to play his guitar and sing to help you fall asleep - it’s like his unofficial job in the family. He helps Tommy, for sure, you when you need it, techno’s just shy and can’t ask (he enjoys it tho) and Philza can sleep just fine. - I also think that you and Wilbur would be such a chaotic duo - not as much as you and Tommy, but more scary chaotic (you and Techno together are just scary. No one wants to mess with you or him) - you and Wilbur would slowly accumulate varying degrees of blackmail for each member of your family - after you collect the blackmail, you go do crazy stuff and use the blackmail to not get in trouble, or not get as serious of a punishment - Wilbur is SO protective, it’s almost suffocating ngl - if you even mentioned dating someone, he’d want to know literally everything about them.  - I know it kinda contradicts the whole blackmail thing, but you and Wilbur actually are kinda chill. You know that you can always talk to each other and will always be there - which is why he feels so destroyed when he finds out that Dream kidnapped you to use as leverage against him - he was a MESS - wasn’t eating, sleeping, or taking care of himself. Philza had to force him to do so - He did everything he could to get you back without antagonizing Dream into doing something worse, which was a difficult and painful balance to maintain - when you finally were rescued, he couldn’t look at you (at your tapestry of wounds and scars) without nearly vomiting from the overwhelming guilt - because of this, your sibling relationship sadly collapsed - you were no longer anywhere as close as you once were
- you and Tommy are a nightmarish duo - you know how Techno is infamous for arson and murder? and Sapnap is infamous for murdering pets? Well, you guys do that for fun - and despite how annoying you are to other people, they would never dream of trying to stop you - Tommy looks up to you so much - I swear, you are his hero - you were the one that helped train him after his lessons with Techno weren’t going so well - despite being two years younger than you, this man would murder anyone who ever talked shit about you - he did get in trouble for that once - someone called you a name and he just snapped - your heart breaks when Tommy is forced into situations no one his age should be forced into, so you help him as much as you possibly can - because of the stressful time period in which you guys live, he has bad nightmares - he made you swear not to tell anyone when you walked in on him suffering from the after-effects of a nightmare. (you only agreed because you knew that was the only way he would actually tell you what was going on) - so now, you help him go to sleep by playing one of his music disks and sitting next to him in bed, just... talking - speaking of music disks, whenever you get sick, he’ll just sit by your bed for a while while the music disks play in the background - I 100% think that he’d play all the songs that the two of you loved from when you were younger, in the hopes it’d make you feel better (mentally, at least) - when Wilbur and Techno return from a patrol without you, faces clouded with heavy emotion, he deep down suspects what happened but still asks - “where’s n/n?” His voice gets a little more desperate when he asks again. “Where the f- is my sibling?!” - Wilbur flinches before answering and when he does... Tommy just stops functioning - his brain stops, blanks. He can’t believe it. His favorite sibling. His favorite person. His protector. His friend. The person he trusted. The person he thought would always be there wasn’t. And it wasn’t even my choice. That was the worst part. - When he hears that it was Dream the captured you, when he hears what dream is doing to you....? My mans is almost as scary as Technoblade - like everyone is low-key scared of how angry he is - Philza makes him stay home during the big rescue mission, so he spends the entire time anxiously pacing. - He has a panic attack and listens to his disks to calm himself down. This makes him feel even worse as you were the one who would calm him down from the attacks - anyways, once you got home he was so relieved he nearly collapsed - his heart broke when he saw all of your injuries - he let techno take care of you, tho, since he knew that his brother would be able to take care of you much better than he could
All in all, you have a wonderful family in the Sleepy Bois. As unfortunate as your past may be, you are so grateful that you were so abandoned in the snow; so grateful that Philza found you and took you home. So grateful for your wonderful brothers who would do anything for you.

Tumblr media Tumblr media
As you sit on the small porch of your new house and look around you still can’t believe the beauty of the mountains. It’s early Spring so the mornings are still chilly, and you pull your blanket scarf tighter around your shoulders.
A distant bark catches your attention, and you squint through the trees to see a white fluff bounding right toward you. Your first instinct is to run into the house but then you hear the deep voice of the man running after the animal and you pause.
As they get closer you can clearly see it’s a large dog and instantly relax.
“Winter! Come back here right now!” the man yells just as the dog happily trots up your steps.
He nudges his nose under your hand for a pet and you can’t help but oblige.
“Winter!” the man growls and you instantly look up.
And you keep looking up for what feels like miles until you reach the crystal blue eyes of the most beautiful man you’ve ever seen. His long chestnut hair is pulled back into a low bun, but a few pieces have come loose and now frame his perfectly shaped jaw.
Your eyes wander over his plump lips and dark beard before you take in the rest of him. The soft flannel he wears is pulled tight over his broad shoulders and chest with the sleeves rolled up and barely containing his biceps.
The leather belt at his waist is worn and soft but seems pointless when the dark jeans he’s wearing are practically painted onto his thick thighs.  Heavy boots cover his feet as they seem to continuously shuffle back and forth while you shamelessly check him out.
You stand and hold out your hand, introducing yourself. At first he just stares at you then down at your hand before wiping his own on his pants. His large hand closes around yours, the warmth and strength sending a new wave of appreciation through you.
“Hi, I’m Bucky,” he says quietly, holding onto your hand a bit longer than necessary before quicky letting go and shuffling on his feet again.
“It’s nice to meet you Bucky,” you reply, pointing at the dog. “And who is this?” you ask.
“Oh! Right. That’s Winter. Sorry about that. He took off after a squirrel and then he must have caught your scent. There aren’t too many people around here so…” he trails off, rubbing the back of his neck sheepishly.
“He’s beautiful,” you gush, scratching Winter behind the ears but never taking your eyes from Bucky.
His tongue darts out to lick his lips and his mouth opens but nothing comes out. After a few more seconds of silence, he seems to find his voice.
“Thanks! He’s a good boy, just adventurous. I hope he uh, didn’t disturb you or anyone else,” he mumbles, gesturing toward your house.
“Not at all,” you assure him. “It’s just me and I’m happy he came to say hello and brought you along too. You’re the first neighbor I’ve met.”
“I think I’m your only neighbor,” he laughs. “I’m just about a quarter of a mile that way and I think the next house might be two and half miles passed me.”
“Well, I’m glad it’s you. And Winter is just a bonus,” you flirt.
The pink that creeps up his cheeks only makes you like him more and can’t stop your giggle.
“I’m about to make some blueberry muffins. Could I bring you some when they’re done?” you ask. “I can’t eat them all myself.”
“Yeah! I love muffins! Thank you,” he replies with a lopsided grin.
“Ok great! I’ll see you soon,” you cheer, giving him a beaming smile. “Just that way right?” you ask him, pointing at the path in the trees.
“Huh?” he answers, staring and blinking a few times. “Oh, yea. My house. It’s uh, yep just down that path, can’t miss it.”
He shoves his hands in his jean pockets and kicks at some imaginary dirt.
“Ok then, I’ll see you soon Bucky and Winter,” you say and start to walk up your steps.
He waits for you to get to the door and open it before waving and jogging off, Winter hot on his heels.
When the blueberry muffins are baked and still warm you pack them up with some butter and start the short walk to Bucky’s house. The path is lined with stones and the tall evergreen trees create a beautiful aromatic frame along the dirt. The sound of cracking wood reaches your ears the closer you get.
At the end of the path the land opens up to large piece of green grass with the perfect log cabin sitting at the back. You smile when you see Winter sitting on the porch, his big and fluffy tail thumping loudly on the wood.
You look to the right and finally see the source of the sound. Bucky stands over a pile of wood and a large tree stump, wielding a large axe with ease. He brings it up above his head and swings it down, splitting the wood perfectly.
It’s hard to tear your eyes away from him and the way his muscles move under the tight clothing. It isn’t until Winter’s cold nose hits your leg that you look away and start walking again.
Winter’s happy barks pull Bucky’s attention from the wood and he turns to you. He sets down the axe and comes over to take the basket from your hands.
“Hi again,” he says sweetly, quickly looking at the muffins before his eyes meet yours again. “I’m glad you came back.”
You hook your arm through his. “Of course, I did,” you state obviously and pull him toward the porch. “Who else am I going to share these muffins with.”
He chuckles and dips his head, unable to hide the permanent flush on his cheeks whenever he’s around you.
“We could sit on the porch swing if you want. Or if it’s too cold you’re welcome to come in,” he tells you. “I could make tea. Do you drink tea? I also have coffee if you prefer. Or something cold? I should have lemonad…”
He’s about to go on but you reach up and place your hand on his cheek.
“Tea is just fine Bucky, thank you,” you say softly. “And we can sit out here. It’s so beautiful and the sun is warm.”
He nods a few times before rushing into the house to make the tea. You sit on the swing and prepare the muffins, gently pushing yourself back and forth with your foot. Winter lays just a few feet away in a warm patch of sunshine.
“Ok, hot tea coming right up,” Bucky says as he pushes the screen door open with his butt.
He sits opposite you on the bench, the basket of muffins between you and places the cups on the small table to the side.
“I brought honey, milk and sugar. I hope one of those will be ok,” he says.
“Perfect, thank you! I hope you like the muffins. I have butter for them too,” you say, holding one up on a napkin.
He takes it and has a bite, the crumbling dough breaking apart and getting stuck on his lips and in his beard.
“Wow. These are amazing,” he raves before taking another large bite.
You move the basket from between your bodies and shift closer to him. You bring your fingers up to his chin and lightly brush off the crumbs before swiping your thumb over his lips.
“They’re very crumbly and messy,” you explain, letting your gaze settle on his mouth before taking a bite of your own muffin.
“They’re perfect,” he stammers, clearly reacting to your touch.
His eyes watch as your tongue traces your lips to clean them of crumbs and he audibly swallows.
“These are amazing,” he mumbles, unmoving.
“You said that already,” you tease, squeezing his bicep before reaching for a cup of tea.
“Did I?” he says, more to himself than you. “I did. Didn’t I?”
You nod with a giggle and take a sip of tea. Winter trots over and rests his nose on the edge of the swing, clearly waiting for someone to share.
“Can I give him a piece?” you ask.
“Sure,” Bucky replies, laughing when Winter scarfs down the piece of muffin in one bite. “That’s one of the ways we’re the same. He loves to eat as much as I do.”
You throw your head back with a laugh.
“Well, that works out just great for me because I love to bake and cook!” you tell him. “As a matter of fact, I’m making pot pie for dinner. You should join me.”
Bucky doesn’t hesitate for a second when he answers.
“I’d love that. Pot pie is on of my favorites.”
You take one last sip of your tea before standing and covering the muffins.
“The rest are for you,” you say, pushing the basket toward him. “And I have a feeling you’ll say that about a lot of the things I make,” you say playfully. “I’ll see you at 6 sharp then?”
“Yes, definitely,” he whispers, his eyes going wide when you lean in to place a soft kiss to his cheek.
“See you then, Bucky. And don’t forget to bring Winter and an appetite,” you yell as you head back down the path to your house.

Doll Me Up (P.1)
Title: Doll Me Up (Part One) Summary: Fem!Reader x Dark Mob!Tony Stark. On good days, you and Tony were a power couple. You, a perfect trophy wife with your hands in local charities to promote a wholesome image. Tony, business man but sullied with organized crime. He indulged in his illegal gambling, extortion, and political corruption. And he indulged in his escort business. Hell, that is where he had found you. You were a brat, and he loved a challenge. Words: 2,322 Warnings: Unhealthy relationships, smut, daddy kink, dom/sub, manipulation, death, violence, possessive behavior
Introduction || Part Two ||  Masterpost (mobile) || Fanfic masterpost
There were three voicemails when you turned your phone back on in the airport terminal.
Voicemail, 12:22am
“Y/N, I swear to GOD if you don’t answer your fucking phone the second you land, I’m going to make sure you don’t walk right for a fucking week when I get you back in my hands!”
Voicemail, 12:57am
“I am tempted to leave you stranded without any fucking money! How the fuck would you like that? Having to call me to come bail you the fuck out? I’ll make you get on your goddamn knees and beg. Call. Me.”
“Don’t threaten me with a good time,” you snickered.
Tony would never though; you found it impossible. He could not stand the thought of you not having money to shield yourself from the world if he was not there. You needed to be inside, pampered.
You snorted before listening to the next message.
Voicemail, 1:27am
“When I find out where you’ve gone, you bet your ass I’m going to be right on the plane there and you’re not going to like it when I find you! Do you understand me! So, make this easier on yourself and call me back!”
You took the opportunity to text him back.
Y/N, 3:29am
Don’t waste your time or jet fuel. Just leave me alone for a bit. God.
You dialed your friend Xavier, it going to voicemail the first time. Annoyed, you called him again, taking note it was after 3:30am. On the fourth attempt, he answered.
“What the hell do you want, Y/N? If you’re drunk and woke me up—”
Brightly, you told him, “Come get me.”
There was a moment’s pause, before he asked perplexed, “What?”
“I’m at SeaTac.”
“The hell do you mean you’re at SeaTac?”
“I flew here,” you told him nonchalantly as you could. “On a whim. And I don’t want to take an Uber alone. I’ll give you gas money! Promise.”
“Where… what?” He was groggy still.
“I’ll stay at your place for a couple nights?”
He was quiet again for a few moments before asking, “You don’t wanna get a hotel room…?”
“Of course you want to do that.”
“Bitch, I live in a studio. Why would I not want to take advantage of some more space?”
“Point taken. But ugh, hurry!” You whined, leaning against the wall. “I’m in really tall heels and I don’t have a coat. I’m cold.”
“Are you outside?”
“No, in the aiport. The dress is just really short.”
Xavier snorted at this. “Of course it is. Where’s Tony?”
“At home. We got into a fight,” you told him shortly.
“So, you flew here…?”
“Yeah, I didn’t wanna go home and see his stupid face. So, I came here. Straight from the party really. Hold on, let me check hotels in the area.” You pulled your phone down to google and scroll through options. “Ugh, I don’t wanna be downtown though. But that’s where all the nice hotels are at… Oh, this place has a renaissance Brad Pitt photo on a pillow.”
“Please. Get that. Just on principal.”
“Okay but this other place has a better bathroom set up.”
“Is that really important?”
“Yes, I want a relaxing bath. And it has a great view of the sound. There’s two-bedroom suites that don’t require extended stays. But, love, I don’t want to sleep alone… and I trust you for that.”
Xavier chortled, “Scout’s honor. Your pussy does not interest me in the slightest. What’s the name then?”
“Thompson. Get here!”
“I’m moving, I’m moving,” Xavier told you and you heard shuffling in the background of the call.
You added before he could hang up, “And bring your phone charger. And some sweats and a shirt. I meant it when I said I left directly from the party. All I’ve got is my purse.”
“You are ridiculous,” Xavier laughed. “It’s going to take me at least a half hour. Don’t let your phone die!”
Tony was calling again, and you sighed annoyed, sending him to voicemail. By now he would know your phone as at least back on and know you sent him to voicemail yet again.
Y/N, 3:41am
My phone is getting low and I need it to contact a hotel so I’m not going to answer.
Your anger was beginning to subside, but you were not ready to give in just yet.
Dialing the hotel, you waited for the front desk to answer. “Yes, I would like to set up a two-bedroom suite if there are any available? There are? Perfect. Oh, right now, please. I’ve just landed at the airport. Yes, yes of course. My card number is….”
Tony would not even have to call the credit card company at this rate with this new charge showing up.

Two years ago…
“Are you sure that’s what you want me to do, Y/N? I could really mark you up that way,” Tony purred.
You peered over your shoulder, giving him a pleading look. You had just asked him to hit you again, wanting him to get your ass good and red before he fucked you unbridled. The clincher was that he had a nine tails he was spanking you with. He had dipped into spanking the first time he had taken you and you would be lying if you said you did not like it. You had been interested in the powerful man and had seen him take girls from the service before. When he had shown up last time, you had made sure to be in his sights and he had taken the bite. Figuratively and literally. He had left some nice little marks along your shoulder and atop your breasts that had eventually faded. You wanted more and it seemed he did too.
“Yes, please,” you said coyly.
“If you keep sounding that cute, I am not going to be able to help myself.”
You stuck out your bottom lip and he gave a throat chuckle before swinging his arm back and landing another blow across your cheeks. You made a strangled noise, jolting forward with the hit. Tony’s fingers came to your ass, dipping between your thighs.
“You like me marking you up?” he asked, his fingers playing. You nodded again. “Bite marks and all?” Another nod and he had had enough foreplay.
Tony groaned salaciously, his fingers leaving your sex and coming to tear your dress down off your breasts. The bra was gone next, your breasts bouncing free. Your dress was stuck around your middle, leaving your bottom and top half exposed.
You whimpered, feeling empty.
“Aww, princess,” Tony mockingly cooed. “Do you want me to fix it?”
You breathed, “Yes, sir.”
His cock pressed against your entrance. “I have such a desire for you… to inhale every part of you.”
“I want you to, sir.”
Tony chuckled against your neck before nipping, causing you to whimper at the pinch. “I know, princess. And that’s what I crave. I’m just simply obsessed with you, kitten.”
<><><>
You woke up to tapping on your face.
Xavier chortled when you startled awake. “Hello, darling,” he crooned.
You slapped his hand away, “Jesus, you creep. Couldn’t you have just gotten out of bed quietly and ordered breakfast?”
“Oh, I did that,” Xavier told you and you scowled, grabbing the blanket to try to yank it over your head. “But I also ordered you some blueberry pancakes!”
At the mention of them, you stilled. Muttering angrily, you threw the blanket back and grabbed your phone, checking the time. It was only 9:30am. You had only been asleep for a few hours at best. When Xavier had picked you up, you had turned your phone back on airplane mode to prevent seeing whatever texts Tony was going to be sending and any calls. You switched it off and surprisingly saw there was only one text from him. He had tried to call a couple of times but he had not left any more voicemails. He was probably testing to see if your phone was back on or not.
Tony, 4:42am
I don’t know what you’re hoping to accomplish from this other than pissing me off.
You sighed as you got out of bed, padding to the bathroom, taking your phone with you.
Xavier called from the bed, “They said less than a half hour!”
“Noted,” you returned coming to the tub and turning it on. You placed your phone on the counter and began getting undressed.
Kicking your feet up, you relaxed back into the tub. It was so warm, and you settled back in further, a smile coming across your face. There was nothing a hot bath could not soothe. You had been bruised up on your ass too many times to not know that.
Your phone rang and you groaned, knowing who it was. You sunk beneath the water, holding your breath. You could not even have one damn bath…
Footsteps echoed into the bathroom and you opened your eyes seeing Xavier peering at your phone on the counter.
You were out of the water in a second, telling him before your ears had even cleared, “Xavier, don’t—”
He had already pressed answer and held the phone up to his ear much to your horror. You could only hear his side of the conversation.
“Hello? Who’s this? Oh, you must be Tony. A friend.”
“Xavier!” you hissed. “Hang the fuck up!”
“Hmm, no. I don’t think you can talk to her. She’s busy.” Xavier paused and then shrugged as if Tony could see him. “I don’t know. She handed me the phone and she left when she saw it was you calling.”
You mouthed, “Too much!”
Xavier ignored you. “I told you she left. She doesn’t want to talk to you. Are you deaf? I already told you that.”
You were leaning halfway out of the tub damn near at this point, your hands gripping the side of the tub. “Too. Much!” you hissed at him.
“Again, I told you. She left. Don’t know where. She was wearing something pretty skimpy though.”
You were crawling out of the bath by this point and Xavier took a few steps back, a playful smile on his face. He had no idea what he was doing. And it was your damn fault by not explaining anything about who Tony was to him before this. All he knew of Tony was that he was a billionaire and your husband. He did not know his mafia ties or the nature of your relationship with him.
“Hmm, apparently I’ve overstayed my welcome. Anyways, if you want to have this convo again, let me know!” Xavier said into the phone, speaking louder with every word practically. As if Tony was trying to yell over him and Xavier was ignoring him. “Bye now!”
A pet peeve of Tony’s was being spoken over. Another was having someone else play with his toy, which was no doubt the thought going through his mind right now because he had no idea who Xavier was. Great.
“Xavier!” you exploded, standing in front of him naked, water dripping onto the floor.
“Yes? And can you put a towel on?” he asked as he placed your phone down on the counter.
You exclaimed, “That was too much! Why didn’t you listen to me and hang up the phone?” You really were worried.
He was unperturbed by your outburst though, shrugging as you snatched a towel and wrapped it around yourself. “As you told me multiple times! And cause it was funny.”
“Do you know what he would do to you if he knew who you were? No one talks to him like that!” You added for good measure. “Especially when it comes to me.”
“Well, he hasn’t let you see me in over a year!” Xavier pouted. You exhaled sharply. It was true… you only traveled when Tony permitted it. You had not been back home in such a long time. “He deprived me of you. He deserved being left behind. Didn’t you say so?”
“That I did. But next time, let me answer,” you poked him roughly on the nose. To give some insight into your relationship, you told him, “Daddy likes hearing my voice, especially when he’s in the state he’s in. Do you understand me?”
“’Daddy’?” Xavier asked, looking put off.
“Yes, he’s quite good at keeping me in line.” Xavier cocked an eyebrow and then burst out laughing. You shrugged, “Most of the time. I’m usually well behaved for him. He just made me mad.”
“I’m getting some very… dom/sub vibes here.”
“Correct.”
“Hmm, that does shed some light on why you’re so mad about that call then.”
“Yeah, you fuck!” you told him, slapping his arm.
“Well, you’ll just get some spankings.”
“I hope that’s the only thing that happens, you dick,” you snapped, seriously.
“Maybe some orgasm denial for his little… babygirl? Princess?” Xavier grinned broadly when he saw your eyes widen at the name. You slapped his arm again, harder this time, and he laughed, pulling away from you. “Is that what he calls you?”
You huffed as you got back into the tub and admitted, “Maybe.” You leveled him with a glare and said, “I’m serious though. Don’t answer the phone again. He’s already mad at me.”
<><><>
Tony had cracked his phone protector with how hard he had slammed it down on the counter after that little prick – whoever he was – had hung up on him. A million, jealous thoughts were running through his mind. Y/N was off with some other man up in Seattle – he had seen the hotel pending charge this morning when he had woken up from his short sleeping stint. She was pregnant with his goddamn kid for fucks sake, and she had the audacity to sleep with someone else.
That was something he could not abide. This was too far.

strip it down | thomas
word count; 7894
summary; your best friend ask you if you’ll spend your summer break keeping fit with him so he’s ready for track returns in the fall, but he’s pretty distracting.
notes; this is based on an ask that I got, inspiring it, and it was just too good to pass up, so I hope you like it!
warnings; smut, unprotected sex, public sex, reference to injury, very brief reference to drink spiking (past tense).
You were just beginning to surface, enjoying the summer break you were getting for college, and happy to spend the summer in your own place. It was quiet, your roommate getting ready to go home, and you would have the apartment to yourself for weeks. Squeezing the pillow in your arms tighter to you, you froze, the bedding beneath you rising as it took a breath, and you jumped back.
Sitting up in your bed enough to rub your eyes, you growled a little as you recognised the chuckle that sounded, opening your eyes to find your best friend staring at you, his phone in hand as he slumped across your bed.
“Mornin’ angel.”
“What the fuck are you doing in my bed? You scare the life out of me, and it’s-” You twisted, picking up your alarm clock, one that had been promptly turned off seeing as it was summer break, to check the time, “-eight in the morning? Really, Tommy?”
“Did you know that you cuddle in your sleep?” He ignored your question entirely, and you sat up in the pillows beside him, the bedding still covering the lower half of your body as you covered a yawn, realising that you weren’t going back to sleep any time soon. “It was cute. Like, the second I got myself all comfy here, you put your head on my stomach, and a leg over mine, holding on for dear life.”
“Thomas-”
“Also, continuing with the cute cuddling thing, if I play with your hair while you sleep, you get this sleepy little smile, a-”
“Thomas!” His jaw snapped shut, turning to look at you, honey brown eyes catching flecks of the sunlight pouring in through the now open curtains, and it was no wonder you’d woken so early of your natural self, his lips pursed as he stared at you curiously. “Tell me what you’re doing here so early in the morning, right now.”
“Only if you tell me whether or not you knew that you cuddle in your sleep, first.”
“No, I didn’t know that. I’m not really a sleep-cuddler, I’m very picky about positions.” His jaw dropped, a cheeky look flashing over his features, and you held up a finger, shaking your head and shutting down the innuendo he was about to release. “Sleeping positions.”
“Just me, then? That’s adorable.” He tapped the tip of your nose, before swinging his legs over the edge of the bed, standing up and stretching a little, the edge of his shirt lifting to reveal a sliver of his stomach, your eyes diverting. “You have a very comfortable mattress, is that memory foam? Anyway, the reason I’m here.”
“Finally.”
He shot you a mock glare, rolling his eyes at you. “You have to get up, because I want to go for a run.”
“And I want to go back to sleep, so that's gonna’ be a hard pass on the physical exertion. Thanks for the offer, but I’m going to keep being lazy.” He frowned, and you grinned, rolling over onto your other side and turning your back on him, and he scoffed a little. A second later, the covers that you had wrapped yourself up in were being tugged back and out of the way, a groan on your lips. “No, Tommy, let me sleep! If you’re really my best friend, you’d let me sleep.”
“No, if I was really your best friend, I’d carry you all the way back from the club on a Friday night after you called with your head in a toilet bowl because you got spiked, and stay by your side all weekend until I was sure you were okay.” He tapped his chin for a second, your stomach twisting just at the memories. “Oh, wait, I already did that.”
“That was low.”
“If you were really my best friend, you’d come on a run with me so I have company while keeping in shape for my track return in the fall.” He grabbed onto your ankles, pulling you down the bed toward him, and you yelped at the action, half of your bed hanging off of the mattress as you stared up at him in shock, his hands on his hips as he smirked. “C’mon, please? Minho is out of town, and I hate running alone.”
“Fine, but only if you buy me a smoothie fro-”
“From Annie’s Café? Blueberry, yoghurt and a dash of lime?” He reached over to the nightstand, a paper cup you’d failed to notice, and you sat up, reaching for it as your body moved closer to his, and he handed it to you. Peeling back the lid, you found it was perfect, the scent of the mixed fruits being a perfect combination. “I already got it on the way over here.”
“Okay, fine.” He cheered loudly, watching as you took a sip of the drink you had, humming happily at the taste that was exploding over your tastebuds. “Go get me some clothes.”
“You’re the best.” He held your face, peppering your cheeks with
You waved a hand in the vague directions of your drawers, knowing that he was familiar with where your things were, having helped you pack and unpack over the last few years, much like you had him, your final year of college bringing around a friendship that had lasted since the first day, and you crossed your legs on the bed, waking up a little more as you sipped your drink.
He dug through the drawers, chucking a pair of leggings in your direction, a sports bra following it, and some socks, and he stared at you inquisitively for a second, eyes scanning down along your body, licking over his lower lip. “Do you wear panties to bed?”
“Thomas!” You threw the empty smoothie cup at his head, and he ducked, laughing loudly as he avoided the assault.
“It’s a practical question! So, I know what to pass you!” You rolled your eyes, scooping up the clothes and looking over the bundle.
“Where’s my top?”
“I passed you one!” He paced back over, picking up the pink and grey undergarment, and waving it before your face. “See?”
“That's a sports bra! I need a top!”
He raised a brow, and you didn’t realise your poor choice in wording, his playful mood taking over. He moved back over to you, hands finding the edge of the bed, and he crawled up toward you as you edged back toward the pillows, placing a foot on his chest to keep him away as a smirk took over. “I could be your top.”
“Quit it, you perv!”
“Oh, so you wanna’ be on top?” He rolled onto his side, head propped up on his hand, wiggling his brows, and you scoffed, standing up with the bundle of clothing, and moving to the bathroom to get changed, his laughs echoing behind you as you went.
Shutting the door, you rolled your eyes at the muffled sounds of him moving around your bedroom on the other side of the wood, your face splitting in an uncontrollably wide grin, cheeks warm to the touch with a blush.
Brushing your hair and pulling it back into a style enough to run with, you turned on the taps, toothbrush first as you scrubbed at your teeth to clean them, drifting into your thoughts. Thomas had been your friend for a long time, the two of you having met on your first day in a freshman biology lecture, and even when you’d switched your major a few months later, he still stuck by your side. He’d been someone you could rely on and depend on since your very first day of real independence and adulthood, and so he had embedded himself permanently in your life.
You cleaned your face too, feeling refreshed as you went, before swapping out your clothes, folding your pyjamas up neatly, and unlocking the door again. Thomas had pulled the sheets on the bed neatly done, sitting on the edge, and smiling at you as you emerged.
“Ready to go, pretty lady?”
“Ready as I’ll ever be for exercise at the crack of dawn.” He looked like he was going to correct you, but your mock-glare made his lips zip back up again, standings and brushed himself down. Grabbing your keys, and locking up the apartment as you went, you let him take the small piece of metal, tucking that into his pocket too, and placing a hand on your lower back to guide you through the halls. “Just so you know, I haven’t done exercise in years. I’m going to make it, like, a mile. That’s it.”
He turned to look at you, nothing judgemental, just a fond smile as he held open the main door of the building for you to pass through first, the busy streets of the early morning crowding around you suddenly. “How about, we just go and jog around the park over there, huh? It has those nice trails through the woods, too.”
You glanced out, a hand shielding your eyes from the summer sun, a park you’d rarely had time to venture into, once on a picnic with Thomas and his friends last summer, but that was about it, and so it would be nice to explore it a little more.
Tightening your hair as you approached the edge of the grass, choosing one of the trails from the sign at the entrance of the park, quickly settling on a short one with plenty of scenery through the trees. The pace started slowly, and Thomas was happy to fill the silence with chatter as you went along, breaking out in a sweat long before he did, the sun beating down and your heart pending in your chest, throat growing dry, but you were willing to just push through it.
It truly was beautiful, the early morning sun was something you rarely go to experience, either locked up in class or the library, or catching up on much-needed sleep, and Thomas had always been the opposite of you in that respect, He was good with the mornings, the athlete in him woke him up when the sun rose, sometimes even beforehand, while you preferred late nights and the dark hours of the day.
Sunlight filtering through the trees, dogs playing in the grass of the main park before you got too far away, the rustle of leaves underfoot and the gentle breeze, the smell of flowers in the air. It was a memory you’d forgotten even having before getting caught up in college and stress, shutting yourself off as you buckled down for your education and career.
The first half-hour or so was a breeze, despite the sweat you broke out in and the pounding of the blood in your veins, you became accustomed to it, listening to Thomas talk. You held up your conversation, the two of you making plans for the summer before you returned to classes for your final college year, and you planned to make the most of it since you’d both have such unlimited time together.
In the second half an hour, the pace picked up, Thomas going quiet, occasional smiles that he gave you, before his skin began to shine from the exertion too, and you were swallowed thickly. Hair matted to his forehead, tanned skin only enhanced with veins that crawled along his forearms, blood pounding much like your own, and he was working at a faster pace than you as you became tired, only just having passed halfway around your set, jogging before you.
You tried to control yourself, but his shirt was stretched across his shoulders, the muscles in his back standing out, shifting under the thin cotton that was damp with patches of sweat, every movement of his arms making it clear, and you had to try and focus, almost swerving off of the path and tripping a couple of times as you failed to pay attention to the forest floor under your feet.
In the final third, everything went to sit. The tree covering thinned slightly, moving toward the centre of the day as the sun shone in the sky, almost directly overhead, and the temperatures were shooting up. Thomas had slowed to meet you again, growing slightly tired himself as you felt like you were dragging dead limbs along, sure you’d be achy and unable to move tomorrow, and at some point, as you’d dipped your head, you’d noticed the bounce.
It wasn’t your fault, your eyes were just drawn to the movement, almost choking on your own spit as you realised just what was bouncing under the thin basketball shorts, your eyes squeezing shut for a second and trying to clear the image from your mind, your brain going hazy and the rubbing friction between your thighs suddenly becoming prominent to you as you ran, wanting to squeeze them together.
You kept going, swallowing the lump in your throat and shaking your head clear. But then his arms were flexing, reaching behind his neck to tug his shirt away from his body, and your mind went blank. Shining abs, the smattering of dark hair between toned pecs and down to his happy trail making your mouth water, sweating skin glistening in the sun as he moved, muscles bouncing, like some kind of Baywatch audition, and you couldn't be held responsible.
Your feet got caught, a loud popping sounding before searing hot pain radiated up your leg, a cry leaving your lips as you hit the ground, rolling to as top, before splaying out in the dirt, a little dazed and confused. Thomas popped into view, concern written all over his features as he talked a mile a minute, so fast you could barely understand what he was saying as his hands found yours and he pulled you up, your eyes sweeping over him. Oh, right half-naked secret crush. That’s right.
“What the hell just happened?”
“I fell.” He let out a weak laugh, worry still holding his brows furrowed, though, and you reached out to him, smoothing your thumb over his forehead to rub away the creases in a way you’d done so many times before, particularly before exams. His features softened as you did, and he let out a little sigh, standing himself and pulling you to your feet. As you put pressure on your ankle, it gave way, and you wanted to scream, possibly even die a little, as you tumbled forward into his chest, his arms wrapping around you. “Nope, no. Ankle says no thanks, no today.”
He grinned, scooping you up under your legs, and carrying you over the grass at the edge of the pathway, luscious and thick green as he set you down, finding shade under a large tree, hidden by some bushes to shield your eyes, before he was kneeling before you. His fingers skimmed along your calf, your leg twitching as he did, before he was pulling up the edge of your leggings to get a look at it.
He hissed a little, fingers running over the patch, registering where the skin was already going hard, and the way you cried out and jerked at the touch, pain coursing through you, and he apologised each time, a sigh on his lips. “I don’t think it’s broken, just a bad strain. It’ll take a while to heal, though.”
“So much for our summer plans.” You whispered, his eyes finding yours, and you swallowed thickly, embarrassment creeping in. “I’m sorry, Tommy.”
“What the hell are you sorry for? It’s my fault you’re hurt.” it was your turn to be confused, his head dropping and eyes hidden from yours. “You could still be tucked up safely in your bed, totally not injured, but I made you come for a run.”
“Thomas, look at me.” He didn’t, still adjusting your leggings back over your ankles as he undid and retied your laces, tighter to keep pressure on the injury for now, and you hooked a finger under his chin, forcing him to look up. “Tommy, I know I complained, but I was having a  good time. I always do when we hang out, even if we are running ourselves to death.”
His lips flicked up at the joke, but he still looked guilty. “I know, but I should have just worked out alone.”
“But you don’t like that, so I was happy to come with you. Stop beating yourself up.” He sighed, trying to let the tension go, and nodding his head. “Besides, I don’t get all gross and sweaty like this for just anyone, so cheer up, that’s how you know I wanted to be here.”
“You’re pretty no matter what. Sweaty, all dolled up, glitter in your hair at a club or all breathless and sweaty on a run, you’re breathtaking.” His hand came up to sit on your cheek, a thumb smoothing over your skin. “When I wanted you to fall for me, this isn’t quite what I meant, though.”
You stared at him for a second, eyes narrowing, and his usual cheeky grin flashed up, but there was something deeper in his gaze that you’d never taken long enough to notice before. “Did you just flirt with me?”
He looked taken aback for a second, wide eyes and parted lips, before a disbelieving sound left him, and he shook his head lightly “I’ve been flirting with you since the day I met you, but thanks for finally noticing.”
“You have?”
“Uh, yeah.” He deadpanned, your head emptying once again, and you watched as he twisted his body, sitting down on the grass with his legs spread out before himself.
“You took your shirt off.” He paused, looking down at himself, and his cheeks were tinged pink when he looked back up, confused. “You took your shirt off, and my mind just sorta’ went blank, and the next thing I know, I’m on the floor in pain. I’ve been into you since, like, last year. The whole system just short-circuited as you did.”
You waved a hand up and down yourself, and he frowned, not exactly the reaction you were expecting, the fear of rejection racing through you. “So, it was my fault you got hurt?” He looked totally distraught, lips in a pout as he stared at you, and you couldn't take it anymore. “I’m really, really so-”
Pushing forwards, your lips met his, his back finding the grass as your body crashed into him, a groan spilling from him as his brain caught up. One hand sought your waist as you lay atop him, the other lacing messily into your hair and tangling the strands as he kissed you back deeply and passionately, lips gliding with yours. You held yourself up over him, the pain in your ankle disappearing as he kissed you just as eagerly, an exchange that was long overdue.
It was frantic, and needy, his mouth working against yours until the breath was stolen from your lungs and your lips were stinging, desperate for breath but never wanting to part from him, a whine leaving you as he pulled back, gasping for breath much like you were. He pulled away, staring up at you as his head fell to the grass, a finger smoothing over your face as the tomb of the other rubbed circles into your hip, tucking under the edge of your shirt to find bare skin. “We should have done that a long time ago.”
“Yeah, definitely.” You rolled your lips together, licking the taste of him from them as you stared down at his flushed face, whiskey eyes twinkling as he stared up at you. “Wanna’ do it again?”
“Fuck, yeah, I do.” He leaned up halfway to meet you, neck craned and he hummed happily, this kiss a little slower and calmer, testing the waters as the initial shock and desperation died down, and he rolled you over, your back meeting the ground as he settled above you, your back coming down to rest in the soft grass. “Been dreamin’ ‘bout kissing you for years.”
He mumbled the words into your lips, one hand finding your shoulder, sliding down a little lower over your arm, pausing a little as he found your ribs, thumb brushing just under your tits through your clothing, your breathing hitching in your throat. His kisses shifted, trailing along your jaw lightly and your hips bucked up, a groan on his lips as you brushed over him, shy heat flushing your face once again as he paused.
“I meant it, y’know. I realised not long after we met that you weren’t going to return my flirting, but I liked you so much but then, and so I decided I’d rather have you in my life as a friend than not at all.”
His teeth continued to tease your skin lightly, and you shivered under him, his hips dropping down to press against you more firmly, and your eyes slipped closed.
“Pure torture, though. All your pretty dresses, movie nights where we’d cuddle, and you’d wear my jumpers when you came over, looking so cute that all I wanted to do was kiss you until your mind was empty, and wake up to you on lazy Sundays. I want you to kiss before exams and whisper good luck in my ear, before we get to celebrate late at night. God, I’m so fucking in love with you.”
“You are?” It was a startling realisation, your body jerking a little in shock, and he grunted as your core shifted against him, his lips bucking up to you in return this time.
“You don’t have to say it back, but it’s true.”
Your hands came up to find his face, bringing him close enough that your noses bumped and breath was shared. “I love you too, Thomas.”
He whined a little under his breath, nose playing with your own, and you tugged him in closer, until his body was pressed up to yours. The temperature was rising between you, making you feel suffocated as the gaze you were being fixed with by the man set you on fire from the inside out, and you pushed him back, breath caught as you looked at him.
Your hands moved to the hem of your shirt, skin itching to be rid of it as you felt like every nerve within you was speaking with electricity, tugging at it as it was trapped between your bodies, and he moved to help. Peeling your shirt up and over your head, it was a flurried collection of movements, sports bra revealed to him once again, and you sighed a little as your back met the crisp and cooler strands of grass again, his body covering yours as he followed you back to the ground.
One solid hand came up to your thigh, hitching it up onto his hip so that he could settle between your thighs, and as the hardening cock in the thin shorts he wore pressed up to your core, you both let out soft sounds of pure bliss at the friction. Dragging a hand down along his chest, your nail scraped over bare skin, sweat and slick from all his exertion, the dips between pecs and toned muscles twitching and clenching under your fingertips, and he let out a breath sigh into your mouth as his lips found yours once again.
Wet and passionate, his tongue teasing over your lip until you parted them for him once again, and he moaned as your tongue dared to come out and play with his own. You dared your hand lower, fingers brushing across the trail of dark hairs below his navel, until a single finger was tracing over his cock, and he whimpered needfully at the feeling, his bucking up into your touch as your hand was crushing between your bodies, the noises he made making your head spin.
Cupping him fully, you squeezed tightly, and his arms over you buckled a little as you did, his lips leaving yours so that his forehead could press to your own, hot washes of quickly panted breaths coming over your face. “Sweetheart, if you keep that up, I’ll fuck you right here in the park.”
“Sounds naughty. Sounds fun.” You mumbled, a slightly tighter grip as you rolled your hand over him, and he groaned a little under his breath, dipping down for a desperate kiss. Supporting all of his weight on one hand, the other coming down to peel your touch away from him, and pinning your wrist to the warm grass over your head, shaded by the tree the two of you were partially hidden behind, a growl on his lips.
“I’m not kidding.”
“Neither am I.” He pulled back, eyes finding your own as he evaluated your words, finding no joke in your eyes and a dark look crossed over his features, rolling his lips before they twisted up into a smirk.
“You know, I always pictured something romantic for our first time together.” Your breath hitched in your throat, the tip of his nose nudging at your jaw as his lips brushed over the sensitive skin of your neck, tongue brushing as he licked at his lips, and you keened up into him. I” figured it would be after a couple of dates, when I finally manned up enough to tell you how I felt.” He pressed a delicate kiss to your skin, and again, nothing rough about it, not at all what you’d expected, and you lifted a hand to lace into his hair. “I’d take you home, strip you down slowly, kiss every inch of your body until you were breathless, and then I’d make love to you for the whole night.”
“Big promises, think you can last that long?”
“Probably not, you drive me crazy with everything you do, but I’d give it my best go.” He laughed gently into your skin, teeth grazing over the spot where your neck met your shoulders, and he gifted one hand again, to land on your jaw to turn your face to the side, his teeth biting own roughly on that spot, and a loud moan left you as you felt him do so, not enough to break the skin, but enough that there’d be a mark, and your eyes rolled back a little.
His lips sealed over that spot, sucking harshly, and you whimpered a little under his touch, swipes of his tongue thrown into the mix, slow and torturous over your sin, and there would be a large bruise you’d be unable to hide for days to come. “Tommy..”
“I know, sweetheart,” He dipped down a little further, lips working over your skin until he was kissing down toward the edge of your sports bra, the tip of his nose dragging over a perky nipple beneath the elasticated material, and he chuckled into your skin at the needy noise you made. Hot and wet kisses, placed along your stomach, until he had reached the hem of your pants, humming under his breath, his fingers latching into the sides. “Are you sure about this?”
“The sex, or the sex in public?”
He lifted his head, a laugh flailing from his lips, cheeks flushed with warm pink as he stared up at you, an adoring look in his eyes that shone right through his amusement. “Both, I suppose.”
You collapsed back into the grass, feeling his finger twitch where they waited in your waistband, before nodding your head. “I’m pretty damn sure, Tommy.”
He didn’t waste any time, pulling your pants down just far enough to fall under the rise of your ass, bunched around your upper thighs, before your hips were falling down once again, a loud giggling falling from your lips as you did, squirming a little against the floor, and his fingers paused in their motions along the bare skin of your thighs that had been revealed as his brows rose. “What’s so funny, angel?”
“The grass is tickling my ass.” You mumbled, and he paused, your head lifting to look at him in the silence, and his face was split in a wide grin, trying to choke back his laugh as he stared at you, shaking his head.
“You totally just ruined the moment.”
“I did not!” You grinned, giggling as you spoke, before sitting up and moving to your knees, spreading your legs as far as you could with the stretchy material still around your thighs to kneel before him. Taking his hand in yours, you pulled it down, watching as he swallowed thickly, eyes still locked together, and his breath hitched as the back of his palm brushed over your yoga pants. The tips of his fingers traced over your sodden folds, your teeth caught prisoner between your teeth as his jaw dropped, and he took control then. “See? Totally not ruined.”
“You will be,” He mumbled, a threat that had your head spinning, and he was firmer in his movements now, a single digit swirling through your wetness and dragging up until he was bumping against your clit, a sudden cry leaving you as he did, and your fingers dug into the skin of his wrist. “So wet, sweetheart. That all for me?”
You nodded, eyes fluttering shut as he began to trace slow circles onto the small bud, and he hummed under his breath.
“Thought about this so much, the way you’d look when I touched you, how you’d sound moaning my name, the way you’d feel as you came around my cock. You’ve been all that’s on my mind for so long.”
“Tommy..” You sighed his name out, pushing him a little further, and a dark chuckle left him as you tried to get more, feeling that sam wet pad brush over your entrance. “Please?”
“Use your words, I want to hear you say it.” His other hand came up, cupping your jaw, and you could feel his eyes burning into you, voice becoming raspy as he spoke low and quiet, words for only you to hear as the two of you tried not to draw too much attention to yourselves. His thumb brushed over your chin, dragging your lower from where it was held to press on them, stinging slightly from the scrape of your teeth, before you were parting them, allowing his thumb to press to your tongue. “I want to hear everything that this dirty little mouth has to say, go ahead and drive me wild, angel.”
You hummed around the finger in your mouth, hips bucking up into him as he circled your hole, never dipping inside but make sure to rub across you just enough to catch, making you absolutely desperate, feeling your juices flooding down onto his hand and smeared between your thighs as he kept this up. Sucking tightly on the finger in his mouth, he let out a broken moan, pushing his finger in further to keep you quiet, before one long finger was dipping into you, as far as he could reach.
The teasing, the build-up, everything had been overwhelming, all too much for you, and your whole body trembled at the simple addition, feeling him still as you acclimated to the invasion, before he was curling his finger to press at your walls lightly. “Nothing to say, so soon? I was hoping I’d at least get my cock in you before you were fucked senseless.”
He pulled that wet finger back, smearing over your china s your gasped for breath, and you opened your eyes to look at him. “You really want to know what I think about?”
“I really do.” He pulled back, beginning to set a slow rhythm with his finger, pumping in and out of you slowly, and you needed more. “You ever thought of me while touching yourself like this? I’ve thought of you, when my hand was wrapped around my cock, thinking about how much better it’d feel if it was you. Your hands, your mouth, this sweet little cunt, always you, though.”
Your hands ran up his shoulders, coming up to sit over his neck lightly, feeling the erratic throbbing of his pulse under your hand. “I think about your mouth, all the fucking time.”
Pink lips formed a smirk, his finger being joined by another and beginning to stretch you out picking up pace, and you could feel the knot within you beginning to wind up tight, pulling and twisting as you felt butterflies begin to explode for action inside. “Yeah?”
“Yeah, you don’t know how much you mess with it. You’re always licking your lips, and making these little smirks, and your cute little smiles, You rub at your jaw, and oh God, don’t even get me started on your hands.” You let out a gasp as the tips of his fingers found your sweet spot, exploring within you as he learned what made you tick, what made you moan.
“Right there?”
“Right there!” You confirmed, breathy exclamation of the words, and he focused his attentions on that, your mind going blank as pleasure raced through every vein in your body. You’d wanted this for so long, this kind of intimacy with your best friend.
You were close, close enough that he had a key to your apartment and stated over frequently, close enough that he’d seen you in your underwear before and close enough that you’d shared a bed, cuddling on nights when you were stressed before exams, showing up at his place in sweatpants with tearstained cheeks, and he’d bring you inside without a word.
This was what you wanted though, you wanted his lips on your own, kissing away every sound you made as it became more frantic, a wet sound filling the air, smacksmatchinging of your lips and the atrociously dirty sound his finger s made as they thrust in and out of your wet channel, a peak like no other beginning to take you over, even from the simple foreplay, purely because it was him. “I’m close..”
Your words were mumbled against his lips, and he only groaned under his breath, the palm of his hand brushing over your clit with every movement, the sparks of electricity it created were running along every nerve you had, and you rolled your hips down into his hand, searching for more of that friction as you chased your high right towards the edge. “I can feel you, baby, squeezing my fingers so good. Can only imagine how good you’ll feel milking my cock.”
“Thomas!” He recessed down roughly on your g-spot, nails brushing over your walls lightly each time he pulled back, a combination of filthy sensations that made tears line your eyes as it all became too good. “Tommy!”
“C’mon, baby, come for me. Make a mess on my fingers, like I know you want to.”
His words threw you over the edge, deep voice and dark tone, your face pressing into his neck as you cried out his name, muffling your sounds in his skin as you came, juices washing over his digits as he pumped you through it, shushing you lightly, a mixture with praises, telling yo how goo you were dong, and it made heat crawl along our skin to your cheeks as you realised how much you liked it.
You’d always been independent, relying only on yourself, and then Thomas had stepped into your life and forced you to depend on him just as much, and as he coaxed you through your climax, mumbling sweet whispers about how good you were for him, you crumbled to nothing under his touch. “Feel better, honey?”
“So good.” You whispered, walls fluttering as his hand pulled back, and you retracted yourself from his body long enough to watch him stick his fingers into his mouth, one eye dropping in a lazy wink as he licked the clean. Your hands slid from his shoulders to his chest, letting out a contented sigh as you looked at him. “God, you’re so fucking hot.”
His chest puffed up a little under your touch and at the compliment, your finger moving in feather-light patterns over his chest, making him shake a little as you moved. He moved you, back, laying you down in the grass, slow and intimate, his body covering yours, kneeling between your thighs and moving to peel one leg free of your leggings, your shoe dropping off at your foot and skin raising with goosebumps at the summer breeze washing over flushed skin cooling you down immensely. His hands were supporting him on either side of your head another question about whether you were sure, but this one was unspoken, a look in his eyes said it all.
Dragging your hands along the bare skin of his back, you found the shorts he wore, basketball style, thin and silky under your hands, and you pulled on them, inching them down and far enough over his ass for his cock to spring free, wet and dripping with precum, bumping against you sodden folds, and you took a sharp intake of breath at the feeling.
His hips thrust up, instinctually as he twitched, the swollen head of his cock pumping to your clit, and the both of you let out soft whines at the feeling. Reaching between your bodied, your fingers wrapped around him, his lips parting and eyes sliding shut as you gripped onto his shaft, a few test strokes as he fucked up into your fist, before you were nudging his cock down, lining him up perfectly.
Sinking into you, his hands gave way at the bitten-off cry of your name that he made,  dropping from his hands to his elbows, bodies pressed flush together as your hips sat snugly together, his throbbing length encased within your walls.
“I feel like I just went to heaven.”
You giggled, the movements making you tighten around him and he groaned at the feeling. When you were both ready, you circled your hips against him, rocking up into him slowly, and he reached down to latch a thigh up onto his waist again, no obstruction as your bare leg came up to his body, wrapping and holding him tighter.
“I promise, next time, it’ll be after a date. Something fun and romantic, and when we get home, we’ll be all alone, and I’ll take you apart piece by piece until you're crying my name, but not right now.” His lips brushed over yours, his head tipping to the side a little, before you could fee his cheeks twitch in a smirk. “But right now, I just want to fuck senseless.”
“So do it.”
“I intend to.” He pulled back, almost all of the way out of you, before he was slamming back into you, no warm-up or time to adjust, you back arching up from the grass as you met him, and you barely covered a loud moan with your hand before he was repeating the motion, a grunt on his lips as he did.
Your nails raked over his back, tearing welts into the skin as he picked up to an earth-shattering kind of pace, and just as promised, you were left speechless, absolutely fucked senseless. It was pleasure like none you’d ever felt before, stretched out around his length, long and thick and your breath was punched form your lungs as you gasped for breath with every thrust that he delivered to you. Leaning up, you caught his lips with you own, a kiss that he was eager to return as he let out a soft sound at the connection, lips puckering immediately to return the love, and you smiled against him.
Shifting your hips up to meet him, skin was clapping against skin, drowned out by the sounds of fresh water and birds chirping around you, distant chatter from the other sides of the bushes and trees that you were hidden behind. It was scandalous, the thrill that anybody could simply walk around this side and catch you, half-naked with your loved ball-deep inside of you,  hand over your mouth as you tried to quiet your screams, you weren’t sure what you’d do.
Slipping your other hand between your bodies, you found your clit, rubbing patterns on it to match his thrusts, the high within you building up to reach cosmic peaks. Locking your legs around his waist, you flipped him over, a grin on his face as he found his back pressed into grass, your centre sliding along his length as you sank back down, seated across his thighs.
“Oh, so I take it that you’re feeling better.”
“I’ll probably regret it later,” You whispered, a jolt of pain sparking along your body as you caught your ankle at an odd angle, face screwing up lightly, and Thomas sat up to meet you. Wrapping your legs around his waist at a more comfortable angle, you let out a little sigh, his hands on your hips helping you to move. “That’s better.”
“Mhm, I’m glad.” He whispered, and you whimpered, hands coming up to wrap around his neck as you leaned in, close enough that your lips brushed, heads pressing together softly, and he circled your hips slowly. It was special, breath shared, and while it may be risky and erotic because of where you were, heated circumstances throwing your hormones into overdrive, you knew it wasn’t a mistake, it was the first step through the doorway you’d both been lingering outside of without realising the other was there. “I’m close, sweetheart.”
“I know, me too.” You whispered, picking up your motions and rocking yourself down into his body, every pulse of his cock making stars flash behind your eyes. Slipping a finger between your lips, he brushed the pad over your tongue, waiting for you to soak the digit before he was pulling it away, his mouth closing over your own, hand slipping between your bodies. He tweaked at a nipple through your sports bra, chuckling in the kiss as you whimpered his name, before he was finding the swollen bud between your legs. “Fuck, Tommy!
Rubbing lightly, he had barely begun, before you were tumbling into orgasmic bliss in his arms, locking up around him, body going rigid and your heart feeling like it stopped in your chest as you came undone. He held you tightly, your bodies pressed together, fingers laced into his hair, mouths sliding together in sloppy kisses as you tried to keep yourself somewhat quiet.
Only moments after you came, he was chasing right after you into your peak, his eyes rolling back in his head, tone raising just a little as he moaned your name, cracking slightly and you felt like you’d broken just hearing him say your name in such a way. Ribbons of hot cum filled you, making you shudder as you felt chilled from the outside as he pumped you full, and you felt tears line your eyes. “Oh, fuck.” You whispered, words dragged out as you felt your heart race in your chest, beginning to come down from your high. “That was incredible.”
“That’s an understatement.” He mumbled, lips moving along your jaw in sweet kisses, pressing gently as you waited to catch your breath, sweaty skin now even slicker, the run having had nothing on this kind of activity, as you came down, he flipped you over pressing you back into the grass so that your legs could unwrap from his waist, letting him pull away from you and collapse down onto the sun-warmed ground beside you. Tugging his shorts back up, you stared down at your one bare leg, your shoe metres away, and you groaned, trying to sit up.
A cringe was on your lips as you felt arousal still leaking from your core, and he chuckled, lifting a hand to brush lightly over your skin, watching as you tried to readjust yourself without putting too much pressure on the ankle that was still injured.
“Do you want to get a pizza?”
“What?” You turned to stare at him incredulously, snickering slightly as you reached for your shoe, and bringing back the shirt he’d dropped long ago as you did. Lacing up your shoe once again, you turned to face him, finding him still staring at you.
“Movie night. Me and you. A date. Pizza or Chinese food?”
You grinned, plucking your shirt from the bush-branch it had landed on after being flung away, trying to turn it the right way out once again. “Pizza works for me.” Your words were whispered out, a light sigh as you realised it was officially, and Thomas sat up upon hearing the crack in your voice. Settling a hand over your cheek, he pulled you down to his lips, a smile pressed between you as he gave you a simple kiss.
“I meant it, y’know. Everything I said, about how much I care for you, and how into you I am. I honestly do want us be a couple, have for a while.”
“I’d like that, too.” You mumbled, accepting the hands he was holding out to you, pulling you to your feet before letting go to tug his shirt back on over his head, a wisecrack on his lips about not wanting to cause any more injuries, and hide the marks you’d made on his back. As you stood up and balanced with weight on your ankle, you tested a first step, sighing a little. “Still hurts.”
“When we get back, I’ll get an icepack for you, and let you put your feet in my lap while we watch movies.” You huffed, his arm wrapping around your waist to help you go, and you twisted to look up at him a little.
“I’d rather be in your lap myself.”
“Yeah?” He grinned, turning to press a kiss to your temple. “That works too.”
“I should hope so. Your lap belongs to me now, girlfriend rules.”
“Alright, well that means that cute little butt belongs to me. Boyfriend rules.” His hand slipped down, pinching at your ass lightly, and you jumped, swatting at his hand as you steadied yourself and rebalanced on your feet, wincing at the pain on your swollen ankle.
“You are going to injure me even more.”
“It is not my fault that you can’t keep your eyes to yourself.” You gaped, shoving him with your elbow as he snickered. You continued on you walk, moving in slow and cautious steps as you began to make your way back to your apartment, hoping your roommate wouldn't be home to witness the messy state you were in, grass stains on your pants and Thomas’s knees, because she’d put it all together in seconds. The hand on your waist squeezed lightly, pulling you out of your thoughts and back to the moment. “I’m joking, you have o idea how many times you’ve distracted me.”
“Now you can do something about it.”
“Yes, I can.” He beamed, dipping down to press a soft kiss to your lips, and you returned it, heading home for the first date for the man you’d adored for so long. Maybe exercise was good for something.

💕✨create the illusion of hanging out with your mutuals tag game✨💕
(I’m taking advantage of the open tag on several friends’ posts!)
morning person? not really. I love when I am up early, but since I also love staying up late (and can do so far more easily), I don’t do it much. (Although there was this magical time in my life from ages 6-8ish when I always woke up two hours before sunrise, somehow completely rested, and read Narnia or Little House and watched the sunrise until everyone else got up :) I miss that.)
ideal breakfast? Fried eggs and bacon and toast with apricot jam on it. Or an omelet. Or buckwheat pancakes with maple syrup and warm blueberries (like the kind you can get frozen in bags - just heat them up and you get warm, sweet sauce with blueberries in it).
favorite warm drink, and how do you take it? I don’t have warm drinks much, but when I do it’s either tea (usually chai or raspberry zinger) or dark hot chocolate with whipped cream.
sit in the sunshine or shade? it gets really hot in the summers where I live, so sometimes I choose shade - but my favorite is always sunshine. I love lifeguarding long hours outside in the summers and feeling the sun sink into my bones and tan my skin.
favorite baked good? ….all?? there are so many good ones - brownies, coffeecake, sourdough (with rosemary olive oil balsamic dip!!), naan, buttered rolls, cookies of all sorts…
a song or album that makes you feel at peace? For Sunday mornings, Fernando Ortega’s album Come Down O Love Divine album. At other times it depends, but there are a few Andrew Peterson, Fernando Ortega, Rich Mullins, Gray Havens, Josh Garrells, Chris Renzema, and Arcadian Wild songs I keep coming back to. That’s not even to mention hymns, but I sing those more than listen to them (it’s hard to find versions that compete with harmonizing with my friends tbh).
take a walk with your friends or read a book next a friend on the sofa? probably take a walk. I had a glorious routine last spring of late-evening walks with friends - sometimes in the mist or rain - and we’d go for hours. It was the best (okay and the time we did a 2 am walk was pretty great too).
what tasks do you gravitate to when making a meal with others? Pretty much anything as long as I can help!!
a chore that if someone completed it for you you’d love them forever? honestly laundry. Maybe it’s because I have to pay for my school’s washer/dryer, but I put it off as long as possible.
favorite board/card game to play with friends? ERS, Uno, Coup, Exploding Kittens, Say Anything, Bananagrams, Garbage, Dutch Blitz, and Splendor are some favorites.
what kind of snacks/candy do you want at a movie theater? sour patch kids.
bar with live music or bar with a pool table? I don’t go to bars, but I could be convinced if it’s one of those rural relatively wholesome ones with live music for swing dancing :)
go-to compliment? probably “I love your outfit!” or “I love talking to you”
hang out on the couch, the bed, or the kitchen chairs? Couch. Fort possibilities, chill vibe, but I don’t fall asleep while attempting to hang out with someone.
are you tending the fire, looking at the stars, or singing campfire/folk songs? all!! Please? I actually adore this question and it describes some of my most favorite moments. Especially if the campfire songs are mostly worship.
a favorite Scripture verse or prayer? I have a lot, but lately I’ve been dwelling on Psalm 107:9 - “For He satisfies the longing soul, and the hungry soul He fills with good things.” It’s such a good reminder that my Lord’s purposes are ultimately so gracious and kind - to satisfy me and bring me everything I need (which is Him).
are you the person begging to go to just one more bar/sing one more song, the person staying up late talking about love and the universe, or the person who fell asleep hours before anyone else? Definitely one of the first two (though as aforementioned I don’t go to bars; but I’m always down for more singing or dancing or ultimate frisbee, etc). I do tend towards a contemplative mood in my late night conversations; love and the universe sound ideal.
this was fun! tagging @accidental-spice @kanerallels @saxifrage-wreath @athenenoctua9 @brown-little-robin @fictionadventurer and anyone else who’d like to do it!

REDACTED verse - The aloof Bombay & wounded Border Collie
Summary: They say you are what you are in the dark. So you prove just who you are when there's only you and Frederick in a dark house, with no one else around.
TW: [Swearing], [Profanity], [Angst with a happy ending] & [Mild panic attack]
So, first thing first, a little backstory about this oneshot. I had already written out the first scene a week before Redacted announced the discontinuation of Frederick & Bright Eyes series. Although he mentioned that it’s fine to continue on writing headcanons about the two, I was hesitant to continue writing this fic.
But I’ve been missing them terribly so I sat my ass down and finally completed it! Yay! Fred & Bright Eyes had one of the most interesting dynamics in this fandom so I wanted to give it a go based on my headcanons of them.
-
There's a strange sort of energy hovering around Vincent and Sam lately.
It's not subtle either. Its anxiety, stress and uncertainty all roll together into a heavily dense fog that makes you itches under the skin.
This has been going on for days now.
Vincent constantly has thick textbooks with him whenever he comes over to Sam's place. They would exchange short pleasantries before Sam hurried off to his Werewolf beau (it's sort of funny the first time Sam returns home, and you spotted courses of wolf's hair stuck onto the hem of his clothes and jeans. You figured that this man's main hobby was tussling with Wolves, but when Sam would sneak back into his own fucking house like a teenager, it wasn't hard to put two-and-two together). Vincent would then make sure that you and Frederick are fed, settled in for the night before he completely ignores the two of you in favour of his school work.
As if the two of you are a pair to toddlers. You'd laugh if it didn't annoy you.
Fred, ever the gentle sweetheart, attempted to make small talks at first. Tentatively asking if he's stressed out over exams and if there's anything he could do to help - the result was expected. With pen in hand, notebooks and the two hundred and one pages depicting the foundations of magical healing, Vincent rather absentmindedly shooed him away.
Sam is arguably the worst. Ever since he stepped outside of the house during their crash course of the Empowered creatures in Dahlia to answer a phone call, he returns with lines on his forehead and shoulders tensed as hell.
Their impromptu lesson ended just like that when another Clan member had to babysit the two of you after Sam stormed out of the house.
You don't know whether they realise how taunt their strings have been, and you don't really care, honestly. Just curious; you're pretty confident that something big will happen soon.
At least there's something exciting to look forward to other than Sam's disapproving frowns and Fred's frustrated attempts at making you bear your heart and guts out.
And something big will happen soon. Apparently, there's something equivalent to a magical Olympics that occurs every year called the Elemental & Energetic Games, and this year, the local supernatural academy would be the one hosting it in Dahlia. Interesting.
Speaking of which, you could hear Vincent talking to his lover outside your bedroom through his phone. "Sam's on the way... yeah, he just texted me." A short pause. "Yeah, I can do that. Hey, hey, Lovely - listen to me. Everything's going to be alright. You've been practising non-stop for the Games. You deserve a special night for a change. So here's what we're going to do: I'll pick up some of that blueberry pie you love so much on the way back, we'll watch some movies after dinner and then have an early night so you'll feel better tomorrow. Sounds good? Nice. Oh wait - I think I can hear Sam outside. See you in a little bit. Love you too, Lovely."
You tune the outside world after that. It makes sense now why Vincent was stressed out; he's busy playing the good boyfriend.
With a tired sigh, you try your best to occupy your mind. It's three hours to midnight, but to Vampires, that's practically early morning, and you're already so bored. You don't want to step out of your little sanctuary if it means having to deal with Sam, Vincent and Fred tonight.
Or ever. Forever sounds good.
Not knowing what else to do, you pushed yourself out of bed and padded towards the window sill. The cool night air greets you as well as the trees and shadows that stretch on for miles. Once you and Fred were officially brought under Sam's care as his Progenies, you quickly realise that his house is located on the outskirts of Dahlia. Where the forests sprawl behind the abode and the city lights are just far enough not to pollute the night sky.
A perfect place to raise a pair of unplanned Newborn Vampires. You conclude that either Sam enjoys living by himself in a secluded property or that this house was given to him by Mr. Solaire.
Either way, you would've love to sneak out and explore the forest if it weren't for the magical wards that Sam had warned the two of you. The moment you or Fred steps out of the immediate area, Sam would know right away that one of them disobeyed his rules.
So despite the pleasant night air, there's a strum of anxiety and restlessness stirring within you. Is it because of Sam's recent behaviours or the upcoming Games? You can't tell, not when no one is bothered enough to tell you what's going on.
You take a deep breath and take your sweet time to exhale the air out. There's no use in working yourself up; not when you just need to get through this Newborn phase. It's better to think of the future.
And that bastard's mangled corpse at your feet.
"You should've listened to your friend, little mouse."
Ironically, the monster's voice is the only thing keeping you sane during this whole happy house facade that Sam and Frederick insist on playing. Late-night fantasies of ripping that smug's asshole to pieces are the only thing that keeps you going, sad as it is.
It's not revenge; it's justice. It's your atonement for hurting Frederick. What good would apologies serve when you can present that monster's head to him? You're not deluded enough to play the victim; you're the reason why the two of you are the way you are now, but you'll be damn if you admit that to Sam.
Sam's already blamed you for what happened to Fred. Even if he never says it. His lingering glances and furrowed brows are telling enough. There's no need to give him more ammunition against you.
You breathe in and out again; willing yourself to calm down. So you start to distract yourself by planning to gather enough money and resources to leave the Clan once Mr. Solaire deems that you're safe to be on your own and to others. His kind smile and knowing eyes should've made you uncomfortable, but all you can feel is genuine compassion and understanding coming from that ancient Vampire King.
So. Priorities: Passing the Newborn period, gather enough money, clothes and anything else that's important, thank Mr. Solaire for taking you into his Clan, and if it's not too presumptuous, ask him to continue to care for Fred.
A knock on the door startles you from your train of thoughts, but you keep your gaze on the dark forest laid before you.
You heard the door creak as it slowly swings open and then, "Bright Eyes? Is... Is everything ok?"
It's Fred. Of course, it would be Fred.
"Mm-hmm." You reply absentmindedly. You didn't even have to look at him to know that he doesn't believe your bullshit. And him being your Sire makes it impossible to lie to him, so you often gives out vague responses.
Most of these days, your interactions with him are curt, with doubt thrown into the mix. Fred is hesitant to press you when you brush away his questions, and in return, you hide as often as possible so you wouldn't step on any emotional landmines in this house.
"Are you sure? Because I can kind of sense that you're upset..." Fred said after a brief moment of hesitation. Ah, it's going to be one of those nights.
The bond between a Sire and his Progeny once again proves to be a fucking nuisance. Not only could you not lie to Fred, but he could also sense phantom emotions coming from you. So much for privacy.
"It's fine, Fred. I was just thinking." There. Not a lie but not the total truth either.
"O-Oh." From the doorway, Fred bit his lower lip. Why is it getting harder and harder to approach Bright Eyes nowadays? He hates this distance between them. He hates how they rarely left their room.
He hates how it feels like he's losing his friend as the days go by.
"Do you, uh, maybe want to play a game or something? Vincent hooked up a Playstation 5 before he left. I think he also left some video games - "
"I'm not in the mood to play tonight, Fred. Maybe tomorrow."
Fred sighs at the clear dismissal. It honestly hurt; Bright Eyes constant rebuff is getting sharper and sharper. Without another word, Fred left Bright Eyes to their thoughts.
As usual, nothing is absolved tonight.
-
It's a boring rainy Wednesday night. The gentle pitter-patter of raindrops against the shutters promises an incoming storm when you hear the sound of rumbling thunders approaching the city from a distance.
Tonight, Vincent is too busy at D.A.M.N to babysit you and Fred. Sam already left the house an hour after the sun had set with his usual instructions not to go beyond the wards and that a Clan member would be coming over to supervise them.
Why does this feel like you and Fred are the unwanted children from a divorced couple? Oh well, all the more reason to leave the clan ASAP.
You plan to brood in your room as usual after draining your share of the blood bags in the fridge. However, the moment you take three steps out of the kitchen, lightning flashes across the sky.
The power trip, hurtling the entire house into total darkness.
"The circuit breaker," You murmur, inhumane eyes quickly adjusting to the darkness as you look around the area in 4K HD. "Did Sam ever mentioned where it was?" You tried to recall the house's layout from Sam's words alone, but you tend to tune out his voice whenever he speaks more than twenty minutes. So it looks like you better start from the basement.
Just when you're about to head downstairs, a whimper froze you. You tilt your head towards one of the bedrooms.
The sound is coming from Fred's.
You stood your ground for only a few seconds of hesitation before you quietly approached his bedroom and slowly opened the door as to not startle him — concern creeping into your heart.
Just like the rest of the house, Fred's bedroom is completely dark. Lightning flashed once more to illuminate Fred's huddled figure on the floor near the window. He's breathing very hard and rapidly with his head in between his knees.
Your heart twisted into a knot at the sight of a frightened Fred, and you couldn't help but wonder if this is how he looked like when that monster hurt him.
You forcefully put that thought away. You're horrible with words, but there's one way you can still comfort him.
Fred's breath hitches when your back lean against his. "B-Bright Eyes?" He calls out with a choked sob, head slightly raised in surprise.
When you said nothing, Fred let out a ragged sigh. "What are you doing here? I thought you couldn't stand the sight of me."
You blink and turn your head to give him a side-eye. Say what?
"Don't give me that l-look." Fred snaps after a sniffle. "You could hardly look at my face lately, and you only leave your bedroom whenever you have to eat. If it weren't for that, you'd happily pretend that Sam and I don't even exist."
"That's because whenever I'm around, you keep wanting to talk about Wonderworld, and Sam keeps shooting me looks as if I'm a shitstain underneath his fucking boots." You shoot back reflexively.
Much to the surprise of absolutely no one, your words upset Fred even further. "You can't talk about Sam like that! He's been nothing but kind to us. To you and you just - "
"He blames me for what happened to you!" Fred can't be this oblivious, can he?
Behind you, Fred went stiff.
"You're his Progeny, and I'm the deadweight that he's stuck with because you Turned me. He knows it, Vincent knows it. Fuck it, everyone in the Clan knows it! So why should I give a damn when I'm unwanted? And that's alright! That's totally alright! You want to know why that's alright, Freddy?" Lightning split the night sky. A rather powerful thunder shakes the house, but at this moment, nothing exists except for you, Fred and the tension that has been brewing between the two of you the moment your humanities were forfeit.
"I'm not planning to stay here any longer than I have to! The moment Mr. Solaire give us the green light, I'm out of Dahlia! Buh-bye! You and Sam can do whatever the fuck you want, but I don't want to stay in this city any longer! I don't have anything left here!"
Silence enveloped the bedroom. What are you even doing here? Why did you even think you could comfort Fred when all you've been doing is hurting him. Even now! This was a mistake. You should've -
"I was right. I'm losing you too..."
"Uh, what?"
Fred tucks his head in between legs tighter as if he's trying to hide from the world. "I think I always knew that you were going to leave me when you started to pull away from everyone. That's why I wanted us to talk about that Halloween night so badly." His voice is ragged, tears stream down his face. "Y-You said that you don't have anything left in Dahlia, but... you're all that I have left and if you leave... I..." Fred sighed and quietly continued, "I thought I was your friend. I thought I meant something to you."
"I've hurt you." You reply, just as quietly. "I've been hurting you since Wonderworld, and even tonight, I'm hurting you. I didn't listen to you that night, and because of it, we're here. You lost your family, friends and future and for that I'm... I'm so sorry, Fred. You didn't deserve anything that happened to you."
"Thank you, Bright Eyes. I-I needed to hear that." Fred reply. When he reaches for your hand, you squeeze it back. "What happened was... fucked up, but none of us knew about that Vampire. Or that Vampires actually exist. So it's stupid of me to blame you for our d-deaths."
"But I didn't listen - "
"Yes, you didn't listen but will you listen to what I have to say now, Bright Eyes? Please? I want us to move on from this together. I want us to be better."
Perhaps it's how raw and near begging Fred sounds that both of your walls are down tonight. Perhaps, tonight, you finally realise that it's you that doesn't like confrontations and that despite Fred's gentle and reserved nature, he has no problem mending the wounds between the two of you with force if he has to. Huh, who could've thought?
The two of you talk for hours in the darkness. It feels so awkward to bear your heart to Fred after everything, but to your immense surprise and relief, he listens to you patiently, and once you're done, he let you into his heart. All the fears, insecurities, regrets, shame and horror are laid between you and together, you address them one by one until the storm lets up.
And when the silver light of the moon peeking through heavy clouds, you found yourself snuggling with Fred on his bed. Your head tucks into the crook of his neck while Fred's arm is around you. It's strange how lighter your heart is now.
"Have you stop crying already?" You ask, wondering if you'd need to run to the kitchen to make a simple bag of ice for Fred's red, puffy eyes before they swelled.
Fred snort. He sniffles and squeezes your body in assurance. Being slightly taller than you, it feels sort of nice to be held like this. Despite their heartfelt conversation and confessions, the trauma they both carry is still fresh, but now, it doesn't feel like an overwhelming miasma threatening to drown you in guilt and sorrow. "Yeah, yeah. I'm alright now. It feels good to finally cry after... after everything."
"Can't relate." You bluntly interject. "I usually get pissed off after a crying session."
"I can actually believe that." Fred giggles. "I'm beginning to understand you a lot better, Bright Eyes. Thank you for listening; I know that words are hard for you, so I'm very grateful that you want to work things out as much as I do."
"Mn."
Outside, the rain has become a gentle drizzle, and the stars ushered a bright full moon. It's too lovely of a night to brood; you might as well take a nap with Fred.
"Bright Eyes?" Fred suddenly speaks up, bringing you out of your sleepy haze.
"Mn?"
"Do you... I mean... are you still planning to leave Dahlia?" His voice returns to its timid and hesitant state.
"Well... yeah. After our - urgh - mushy talk, I realise it's all the more reason I need to do it. You're the only thing I have left in this city after all."
"You want to leave me despite just saying that all you have is me? Uh, I don't... don't get it. Can you please explain it to me, Bright Eyes?"
You hold back a groan. It looks like Fred has discovered the magic of 'please' and your weakness to it. "I'm planning to kill the Vampire who killed us and use his skull as my apology gift to you."
Unlike you, Fred groans in disbelieve. You yelp when he manoeuvres you so your body can lie on top of his and trap you in his arms. "No... Bright Eyes, no... no hunting that asshole, OK? You don't need to give me a skull; just stay here with me. Skulls are gross anyway." He whines like a needy toddler, which, surprisingly, makes you feel fond instead of irritated.
So you roll your eyes and press your face into Fred's chest. Perhaps you can try to convince Fred to leave with you in the future, but for now, nothing matters but the rhythmic rise and fall of his chest and the faint scent of wet grass outside.
They're going to be alright.

Kei Tsukishima x F!Reader ( part 7 ) [ final ]
Tumblr media
❝ they were the sun and moon, destined to be together but only ever totally meeting once every hundred years or so. ❞
description: in a world where you only see color when you're in love, you've grown frustrated of the greyscale. but falling in love with someone you barely know was never something you planned. and, him not returning the feelings definitely wasn’t planned.
genre: soulmate au... except not quite. everyone is born colorblind. you can only see color once you fall in love (and it grows brighter until you see full color as the love grows). however, that doesn't ensure a lasting connection. it simply means that love exists in that moment, until it doesn't.

“ if you could only see how blue her eyes could be..  ” - if you could only see, tonic
┏━━━━━⋇⋆⋆⋇❦⋇⋆⋆⋇━━━━━┓
You decided to keep your distance. You couldn’t be his friend when your heart continued to be shattered at a measly “no”.
As he walked you home in silence that night, you considered a thousand different ways to get rid of the colors. To get rid of the love you had for him.
It was incredibly toxic, you thought, to continue to be friends with a boy your heart pined for.
Tumblr media
You still volunteered with the Karasuno team. It was a bit strange, though, because you would do your best to either stay behind with Hinata and Kageyama, or you would leave with Ukai. Anything to get you out of walking with Tsukki and Yamaguchi.
Hinata was the first one to notice that things weren’t the same (always the observant one).
“Did something happen with you and Tsukki?” He asked you after practice as the both of you cleaned up the last of the volleyballs.
“I can see color, and he can’t.” You confided.
“We knew that.”
You chuckled, considering if you should tell him. In the end, you figured “what’s the harm?”, so you said, “We kissed. And even after that, he still couldn’t see color.”
He audibly gasped. “Oh. I’m so sorry.”
“It is not your place to be sorry.” You fluffed his hair. “Are you all done for the night?”
“Yeah, I guess.”
Tumblr media
Staying away from Tsukishima was harder than you anticipated.
He was in your class, he had lunch the same time, he was on the team you voluntarily helped with. Everywhere you went, he seemed to be there.
“Do you really think the colors will finally go away?” Haru asked you.
You three were sitting at a picnic table at lunch. It had been almost a week of avoiding the boy and the colors were still as vibrant as ever. You figured falling out of love would be harder than falling into it.
“I hope so.”
At the same time, Tsukki and Yamaguchi walked by. They both looked your direction, and you only exchanged a small look with Yamaguchi.
“They miss you.”
“I know.” You returned to your food, no longer hungry. “I miss them, too.”
Tumblr media
One day at Blu, Tsukishima had come in with only sweatpants and a hoodie on. He seemingly just woke up and rushed out without thinking much of it.
You thought he looked handsome no matter his attire.
“What can I get for you today, Kei?” You asked in your usual customer service voice.
He didn’t glance at you as he ordered his usual black coffee.
You were about to punch it into the register when he added, “And a blueberry muffin.”
“I heard that blueberry muffins are actually purple.” You offered as conversation. Not that you knew what either of the colors looked like.
“That’s stupid.” was his reply.
Tumblr media
After a month of avoiding the boy, you were growing frustrated. The colors hadn’t even dimmed, let alone left. They were still bright and loud.
It was like a taunt every time you woke up.
You shoved an (obnoxious) bright yellow shirt on as you cleaned your room. It was an old softball practice shirt that you found in the bottom of your drawer. You had no idea back then how incredibly bright a lot of your clothes were. Why did your mother let you leave the house?
It was a weekend, and you figured that cleaning your space would also help in clearing your mind. Putting on the shirt was your way of saying “fuck you” to the colors.
As you blasted music, a knock on your door interrupted.
Tumblr media
“What did you do to her?” Yamaguchi asked Tsukishima the day after the kiss.
“What do you mean?”
“You did something to her.” He crossed his arms. “What did you do? She won’t talk to either of us, like I have some part of whatever fucked up shit you did.”
“I…” Tsukishima pushed up his glasses. “I kissed her. Well. We kissed.”
Yamaguchi nodded, thoughts processing. “Then you rejected her again right after, didn’t you?”
“Am I supposed to lie?”
“Yes.” He shrugged. “But you’ve been doing that a lot, huh?”
Tumblr media
The knocking on your door persisted, and you eventually gave in and answered.
With a hard swing of the door, you sighed, very irritated, “What?”
Kei Tsukishima stood in front of you, hand still above your head in an attempt to knock again. His eyes made contact with yours. Those golden fucking eyes.
“You’re avoiding me.”
“No shit.”
“Why?”
“Why?” You scoffed incredulously. “You’re kidding, right? Why am I avoiding you?”
“Yeah.” Tsukki seemed sincerely confused as he shoved his hands back into his pockets. “What did I do?”
You couldn’t help but laugh. You shook your head, looking away from his eyes.
He said, “It isn’t like I’ve lied to you.”
“That’s true. You’ve been brutally honest.”
“Then.. why are you avoiding me?” Tsukki tried to catch your eyes again.
“Because every second with you hurts, Tsukki.” Your frustration echoed in your voice. “Every second that I spend with you is a painful reminder that you don’t and won’t feel the same way about me that I feel for you. And you constantly remind me of that little detail.”
Without a moment of hesitation he said, “Telling you that I don’t love you back should help you. I don’t see what your issue is.”
“You don’t see what my issue is?” You put your hand back on the doorknob. “How’s this: my issue is you.”
“What the fuck are you talking about?”
“I’m done, Tsukki.” You met his gaze. “I’m done. I tried to be your friend, I tried to get rid of the stupid colors. But everything I do only makes them worse. And you consistently telling me that you don’t see the same that I do and always being an avid reminder that you don’t love me back… it sucks. And I can’t do it anymore. It’s draining.”
“So you’re going to… what exactly?” His voice got louder. Angrier. “Just forget that I exist and never talk to me, or Yamaguchi, or the team again?”
“Yeah.” You nodded, clearly still pissed off. “That’s the plan.”
You were pissed that he came to your house a month after you stopped talking to him. You were pissed that all of this started with your stupid part time job. You were pissed that he was standing in front of you looking fine as hell. You were pissed that you still saw colors with every waking moment.
You were pissed that you fell into an unrequited love.
“You can’t just…”
“But I can.”
“No, you can’t!” His voice got louder. You could raise your voice, too.
“Yes, I fucking can, Kei.” You told him. “You don’t know how many times that I’ve tried to get rid of these stupid fucking colors. I’m so over looking like an idiot because of the one person who…”
“Can you shut the fuck up for just a second, I can’t even pay attention to what you’re saying with that bright ass yellow shirt you have on.” Tsukki interrupted, grimacing as he looked away.
The entire world froze around you. He seemed to figure out what he said far too late, closing his eyes. Your heart seized in your chest and you felt as though you just got the wind knocked out of you.
“Wh.. what did you just say?” Your eye twitched.
“Hm?” Tsukki turned to you, pretending to be oblivious.
“What did you just say, Tsukki?” You felt tears arriving, but you were forcing yourself to stare at him. “How long have you… How long have you been able to see color?”
“Since I ordered my first black coffee.” He stated. As if it was nothing.
As if it didn’t matter.
“You…” You let the tears free fall down your cheeks. But you laughed. “You could see color this entire time?”
“Just listen…”
“No! No.” You took a step back, putting distance between you and the cause of your heartache. “You just claimed to have never lied to me, yet you’ve been lying to me this entire fucking time.”
He started to say something, perhaps explain himself. But you could barely breathe.
If your heart hadn’t been damaged enough by his constant rejections and painful “no”s, it was completely shattered now.
“You let me believe this entire time that you didn’t feel the same way about me.” You could taste your tears, but ignored it. “For nearly a fucking year, you watched me go through hell. You let me ruin my own heart and let me become frustrated with my own fucking life. You kissed me and then told me that you didn’t love me. You…”
“I love you.” He interrupted, trying to get you to stop yelling.
It was the first time he had said it, and it had slipped past his tongue as if he had been meaning to say it for months.
“I guess it’s a bit late for that.”
You watched as the colors drained from the world. Your focus turned back to the greyscale as if a vacuum sucked every single color that had existed.
The last color you watched dissipate was the gold in his eyes.

MASTERLIST || PREVIOUS||  NEXT
The cup in your hands was starting to burn the palm of your hand but you didn't care it was the only thing making you stay in place while your daughter and Jungkook were cooking together. It was a sight you never thought you would see, watching them together was so odd to you right now. Jungkook had come around early that morning as he promised and he was making everyone breakfast, the way he used to when he stayed over here that summer you spent together. Memories of eating out on the balcony came flooding back to you, being dressed in nothing but one of his oversized t-shirts whole he walked around in nothing but a pair of shorts.
"Mum look!" A plate was placed down in front of you with Minnie Mouse pancakes with blueberries for eyes making you snap away from your daydream.
"Thanks," You whispered slowly putting down the mug of hot chocolate and looking at your daughter who couldn't help but smile at you with how happy she was. The night before she'd done nothing but go on about how happy Jungkook made her when he'd only been around for a short period of time.
"Daddy made them," Jungkook looked over his shoulder to glance at you and you thanked him for it by sending him a small smile. The two of you hadn't spoken about what this all meant with his daughter, if he would be seeing her more often or if you could even risk that. The thought of your daughter's life being public scared you too much. Taking a knife and fork you started to eat the pancake while trying to avoid looking at Jungkook it felt weird to have him standing there after all this time. Whenever you did catch a glance at him it just made you feel like you were in some kind of parallel universe where he'd known about the pregnancy and decided to stick around.
"Are we allowed to go on all of the rides?!" Areum asked excitedly as she ate her pancake, you hummed sipping on the drink you had in your hand.
"Of course, I'm sure your dad won't mind riding on some of them with you." You were deathly afraid of heights so there was no way you would have been able to go on many of them alone with her. One of the reasons you hadn't taken her to one was because you didn't want to be the killjoy by not making her go on the big rides.
"I'd love to, maybe we can force your mum to get onto some of the rides." Jungkook winked at you sitting down next to you and smirking as he reached forward to grab the syrup at the same time as you and your hands touched. A jolt ran up your hand so you pulled away and acted as though nothing had happened as though you hadn't felt anything. Areum smiled at you watching as got up from the table to go and clean the kitchen pretending you weren't just trying to get away from Jungkook.
"Mum hasn't been on any rides except the small ones," Areum told him as she shoved some of the pancakes into her mouth. The conversation of how to be a lady at the dinner table going out of her mind in an instant, Jungkook chuckled leaning down to whisper to her but you could still hear him speaking to her,
"I bet I can get her into the Ferris wheel," With a small wink at your daughter he went back to his breakfast while you stared down into the bubbles trying to stop your mind from going to the place it shouldn't. It felt normal to have him there at the breakfast table even though it wasn't an everyday occurrence.
"She won't, she's scared of them." Your hands gripped onto the plate under the water as you began to wash it trying to distract yourself from the conversation they way having.
"Not if I'm up there with her," The plate slipped from your hand and into the water causing water to splash everywhere, Jungkook looked at you and you washed it quickly clearing your throat as you turned to your daughter.
"Going to shower, watch Areum." You mumbled making your way out of the room quickly so you wouldn't have to listen to this conversation for much longer, it was too much to hear right now. Jungkook was probably just trying to be playful with his little girl but all you could picture was the time you were on the Ferris wheel together.
Tumblr media
"The candyfloss is a bad idea," You laughed watching as Jungkook bought Areum a bag of cotton candy and handed it to her, she began ripping the bag open to get into it.
"No, it's not! It's mine!" You stared at her as she yelled at both of you excitedly jumping up and down on the spot as she tried to eat it as quickly as possible. The thought of your daughter hyped up on too much sugar sent a shiver down your spine.
"If she gets hyper you're staying overnight to watch her." You teased him pushing him softly as he rushed over to pick Areum up and throw her over his shoulder, you'd only just gotten to the funfair and you were already having more fun now than you'd had in the last four years of Jungkook being gone. You'd never seen Areum smile so much and you hadn't felt this happy in such a long time, your cheeks were starting to hurt from smiling so much. For a moment it felt nice to just forget about the fact that Jungkook hadn't been around and that he'd been here the whole time.
"What shall we go on first? The Carousel?" You asked her as you rushed over to get next to her and Jungkook trying to keep up with them since they were both so quick. Jungkook was wearing a baseball cap with some sunglasses to hide most of his face since neither of you wanted to be surrounded by fans. He was also wearing a large jacket to hide his tattoos but his hands were still on display, luckily everyone was too busy paying attention to their own fun times to notice his hands.
"The carousel, I wanna ride the horses!" Areum yelled as the sugar began to take over her body, Jungkook chuckled putting her back down onto the floor where she linked hands with both of you and began swinging them back and forth until you got to the line.
"I want the one that pulls the carriage, you and dad can sit together while I ride! It'll be like a fairytale." You nodded at her bending down to her level and straightening her top she was wearing a white Disney princess shirt with a pair of jeans that she'd picked out.
"Okay baby but remember the rules, you have to wait for us to get off the ride with you, alright?" She nodded along with you promising you that she would abide by the rules you always made when you went out together. It was just so she didn't get lost or taken while you were out together.
A teenage girl frowned staring at Jungkook as she stood across the line from the carousel, she didn't think it was him just that it was a weird lookalike.
"What?" Her friend questioned turning to see what she was looking at but the girl shook her head thinking it was just the trick of the light or something.
"That guy...doesn't he look like Jungkook? They say there are always five people in the world that look like you..." She couldn't tell much because of the shades and the hat but it looked an awful lot like him, she took out her phone and went onto Weverse to try and see if she could tell it was him.
"He put out this morning that he and Namjoon and fishing, see..." They stared down at the selfie of Namjoon and Jungkook together out on a lake fishing together, but the girl took a photo of the man that looked an awful lot like Jungkook and began tweeting it out to her friends to see if they thought he looked like Jungkook as well.

The day continued on and all of you were going on the small rides trying to avoid the larger ones for as long as possible but Areum was making her way towards the Ferris Wheel.
"What about getting dad to win you a teddy?" You questioned as you looked at Areum, she turned to look at the shooting game that was in front of you. The aim of the game was to get ten clown faces down within a certain amount of time.
"I want the pink bunny, daddy, come on," Areum whispered tugging on Jungkook's sleeve as you walked over to the stall, paying the man behind the counter for one round. The fake guns were filled with some stones that would hit the moving clowns and potentially knock them down if Jungkook was any good at the game. If he was anything like you remembered he would be good at everything he put his mind to.
"Let's get it," He chuckled as Areum stood in your arms, both of you watching him closely as you waited for him to start shooting the clowns.
He missed all of them but two and groaned as he looked down at the pouting Areum, she wasn't spoilt but she was just upset her dad couldn't do it.
"Let me go," You challenge letting Areum go stand with Jungkook as you paid for another round. Aiming the gun at the bottom row and started to shot as soon as the music began to play. The usual carnival music that played over and over again but you did it, hitting all ten clowns and being able to win two teddies.
"Pick one baby," You whispered to Areum who asked for the small pink rabbit she'd had her eye on in the start.
"Your turn to pick," You winked at Jungkook as you laughed softly, he had his bottom lip out shaking his head at you.
"My turn," He challenged clicking his neck as if that was going to help him on winning the next round.
Tumblr media
The games continued on until Jungkook finally won a round of the game and could give both you and Areum a stuffed animal. You thought that it was sweet that he was trying to impress Areum but if you'd been paying attention you would have noticed it was the both of you he was trying to impress.
"You're scared?" Jungkook questioned as he looked at you, you were next in line to get into one of the carriages for the Ferris Wheel they'd both convinced you it wouldn't be the same without you there.
"I'm scared of heights, you know that." You whined at him as Areum rushed over to the Ferris Wheel, it was one of the ones that were like small glass cages. The ride would stop whenever someone got to the top giving them some time to look around at the scenery which was even more terrifying to you.
"I know, I remember getting you to go to the top of the Effiel Tower with me. But you did it...We're right here for you," His hand entangled with yours naturally and the same jolt you felt that morning was back only this time you didn't pull away from him. You squeezed his hand as a silent thank you and stepped into the ride with him and Areum. She sat across from you so she could have a seat for herself and her stuffed animals she'd gotten. A pink rabbit and then a large blue turtle that Jungkook had won for her.
"Hold on Areum," Jungkook said as the ride began to move, you gasped out as you inched closer to him. The ride wasn't even that high yet and you were already trying not to panic about the thought of being that high from the ground.
Tumblr media
Your carriage was the second from the top but you couldn't help but look around, Areum was sitting on the seat with her back to you and Jungkook as she stared at all of the people below you. Looking at the lights she could see around the city,
"I wonder if we'll see the Effiel Tower!" She yelled out as she continued to stare around, you on the other hand were clutching onto Jungkook for dear life. Your hands were tangled in his shirt as you held onto him tightly while looking around,
"Focus on the lights and your breathing," He whispered in your ear, his lips coming into contact with your skin making it harder to breathe and focus on what he was saying to you.
"Breathe in Y/n..." He urged you as he took your hand out of his shirt and held onto it tightly, squeezing it softly as you stared into his eyes taking in a deep breath before exhaling when he told you to. As you let your breath of the Ferris Wheel began to move and you were at the top, right across from you was the Effiel tower. Areum let out an excited squeal as she just stared it from her seat, watching it with loved filled eyes. It was one of her favourite places to go and visit.
"She really loves it here," He whispered happily as he continued to stare at his daughter, you looked up at him as you realised just how happy he was. You could see it written across his face and the look in his eyes. He looked like he did the first time he got you onto a Ferris wheel.
Tumblr media
"I told you it would be fine," He chuckled as you reached the top of the Ferris Wheel, his hands clutching onto yours as he tried to convince you to open your eyes but there was no way. If you opened your eyes you knew for a fact you would pass out and never be able to do anything like this again,
"If you open your eyes I'll win you another teddy," He whispered trying to convince you but nothing on this planet or the next would be able to get you to open your eyes.
"I'll give you anything you want," He urged but you continued to keep your eyes screwed shut. Jungkook smirked to himself as he leant closer to you, his breath catching on your face as he inched closer and closer until your lips finally touched. Taking in a deep breath through your nose you smiled against his lips, wrapping your arms around his neck as he finally kissed you for the first time all night. He wrapped his arms around your waist as he pulled you closer to him on the seat, reaching up to cup your face as he pulled away. Your eyes flickered open as you stared into his giant doe-like eyes,
"See I told you the view would be worth it if you opened your eyes," But neither of you were looking around at the view from the Ferris Wheel you were staring at one another as the giant machine began to move again.
As second dates go it was one of the best you'd ever had but sitting up here with him brought it all back to you and to him too. There wasn't a day that went by, back home when he didn't think of you and what you were doing. You were like a record that constantly played over and over in his mind.
Tumblr media
"What?" He chuckled when he caught you staring at him. His heart thumped as he locked eyes with you. A part of you wanted to reach up and kiss him like how you had in the memory but another part of you knew it would be wrong. You were seeing someone else and Areum was right in front of you if she was to see you kissing her father it could send all of the wrong kind of message.
"Nothing I was just trying to concentrate on my breathing." You lied turning to look at Areum who was now speaking to her stuffed animals in French. Trying to teach them the days of the week as you tried to get your mind out of the kiss.
Tumblr media
It was pitch black outside by now, after the Ferris wheel both Jungkook and Areum had been able to convince you to go on a few more "Scary" rides that weren't scary at all. Just the thought of the heights was crawling into your mind. Then there was the one you'd just gotten off of. It was a small "horror" ride where you sat in a boat and went around being scared by different things. It hadn't scared either of them but somehow it had managed to make you jump out of your skin no matter what happened.
"You're evil, did you know that?" You looked behind you to see Jungkook cradling Areum who was sound asleep in his arms holding onto the stuffed animals both of you had won for her. You shook your head as Jungkook started laughing.
"You never used to be scared of everything! We used to watch horror movies all of the time." He laughed as he dumped some rubbish into a nearby bin,
"Newsflash, I only watched those movies so I could cuddle up to you!" You yelled playfully as you stared at your sleeping daughter, you grew worried as you realised he would have to carry her all the way back to the shop like this.
"Do you want me to get a cab?" You whispered standing beside him and looking down at her as she snored in her sleep squeezing onto the toys tightly as you went to take them away.
"No, it's okay. I'll carry her." He laughed softly shifting her so she was laid comfortable in his arms and you smiled moving some of the hair from her face just staring down at her.
"She looks like you when you used to fall asleep like this on me, it's quite cute." He chuckled walking across the road with you as you headed in the direction towards the shop, you ignored the cute comment as you walked in silence. It was a comfortable silence between you both as you enjoyed the sounds of the city.
Tumblr media
Areum was laid in her bed while you made Jungkook some Hot chocolates downstairs in the shop so you could talk about Areum where she couldn't wake up and hear you. The adults needed their space to talk about things now. Jungkook started with the hardest subject on his mind,
"So about David," You rolled your eyes sliding Jungkook his drink and going over to the register to check the delivery for tomorrow flicking through the clipboard as you tried to brush off his comment.
"What about him?" You questioned not really wanting to talk about it but you knew the subject wasn't going to get dropped any time soon, Jungkook wanted to know who was going to be around his daughter.
"Do you love him?" You looked at the piece of paper in your hand pretending to read it while you stalled trying to think of something to say in response to that. Jungkook stared at you as he thought of how to bring up something about David, there was no easier way to put it than the simple version,
"I don't like him." He told you as he sipped on his drink you slammed the clipboard down onto the counter as you snapped angrily at Jungkook,
"And I care why?" You had no idea where the anger was coming from, you had no reason to be this angry over a comment made about David.
"I don't want him around my daughter, there's something about him Y/n-" You shook your head at him while you scoffed as if he'd been around long enough to come up with some kind of conclusion on the man you were dating.
"You've not even been back five minutes and you're already barking orders at me about your daughter. We made it four years without you Jungkook, I'm sure I can go the rest of her life." You stormed out from behind the counter and made your way over to the door of the shop opening it for him,
"I want you to leave, I didn't invite you here to dictate what happens in her life or mine," You couldn't look at him as you told him all of this.
"I didn't know she was alive until now I think I have a reason to decide who comes in and out of her life. She's not a train station who needs people walking in and out all of the time!" The anger inside of him was starting to show as he stood up, turning red in the face as he began to raise his voice at you like you were to him.
"In and out? You make me sound like I'm sleeping around!" You yelled but he scoffed at the statement going back to something Areum had said about David staying over sometimes. You shut the door as soon as he scoffed at you wanting to know what else he had to say.
"She already knows he stays the nights! He knows how to make her breakfast, a shitty one at that," David reached the door watching you both for a second to see what was going on. It seemed as thought Jungkook was nitpicking at reasons as to why David shouldn't be around but there was honestly something he didn't like.
"There's something about him Y/n, I don't like it." You stared at him waiting for some kind of reason to come out of him, Jungkook had always had a thing for this sort of stuff though and you knew that. His gut was something you always could follow. You'd relied on it before and it turned out to be true but that didn't mean it was right now....Right?
"Jungkook-" You tried to tell him you could talk it over but the door banged open and David was standing there turning red in the face with anger as he stared at Jungkook.
"Who the fuck do you think you are?! Coming around here and barking orders at Y/n?!" You span around trying to get David to calm down but he began pushing past you to get to Jungkook who only kept antagonising him by pulling faces at him or scoffing at the fact that you could push him away.
"David please, there's no need for this!" You yelled pushing him a little too hard that he knocked into the counter behind him. As you went to go over and tell Jungkook to go upstairs David scoffed at the way you were handling things,
"I can't believe you're siding with some- With some fucking loser who left you when you were pregnant!" You froze in place as he called Jungkook a loser, you'd never been a violent person but as soon as someone disrespected Jungkook you wanted to flip your shit. That was the father of our daughter if he was disrespecting Jungkook who was in some kind of way disrespecting Areum and you couldn't stand for either of those things. Turning on your heels to face David you went to say something when Jungkook moved past you to get closer and threw the first punch at David. Hitting him in the jaw and knocking his face to the side as he grunted loudly before getting the next insult ready.
"You're a fucking loser, imagine getting a girl pregnant and leaving her," Jungkook threw another punch at David in the nose this time while you kept trying to get into the middle of them to stop them from fighting like children.
David seemed to get the upper hand and punched Jungkook in the jaw knocking him down against the floor hitting a bookshelf on the way down and you almost screamed seeing some blood fall from his eyebrow. A small cut making him bleed a little, David leant down gripping onto the shirt Jungkook was ready as he pulled his fist back.
"ENOUGH!" You shouted out stepping in front of Jungkook so that David couldn't continue his assault on him but David was turning red in the face as you stood in the way to defend him of all people.
"I am not some toy you fight over in the playpen!" You said to him as you stared into his eyes David spat blood out onto the floor as he stared back at you going to speak as he wiped his bloodied mouth.
"Tell him to leave or I'm going to-"
"Then leave!" Your voice cut him off as you stared into his eyes wasting no time on him, if he was going to act like a child then you were going to treat him like one it was as simple as that. You didn't want someone like him being around your daughter.
"But we-"
"We? We are nothing! Not if that's how you treat the father of my daughter, get out." You stood your ground until he was out of the shop, once he was gone you locked the door and turned to get a better look at Jungkook. There was a small gash just above his eyebrow that would be easily taken care of with a home first aid box and some painkillers.
"I'll clean you up, I have a first aid kit in the apartment upstairs." You whispered, bending down to help him up from the floor as you took him towards the staircase.
"I've never had a woman defend my honour before, it was nice." Jungkook laughed as you applied some butterfly stitches to the cut above his eyebrow, it was nothing major but you needed to patch it up. He'd hissed when you'd applied some of the solution from the kit to clean it with beforehand.
"I never knew he was such a cunt," You mumbled sitting down in front of Jungkook, you were sitting on the small coffee table in front of the sofa he was on. He could tell how upset you were over the guy and he sighed looking at you and reaching out his hand as he held onto your wrist to get your attention.
"You'll find someone who will treat you and Arehum like royalty. You deserve that," You stared into his eyes and wished it was him, but the way he was talking made it sound like he knew it wasn't him and never would be.
"Mummy?" You cleared your throat as you heard Arehums voice come from behind you, you turned to look over your shoulder at her,
"Yes, sweetie?" Her hands were clutching the turtle that Jungkook hadn't won for you back when he first met you. She had tears streaming down her cheeks as she whimpered out,
"Nightmare?" You questioned as she nodded as she sniffled out.
"Can you and daddy read me something?" Glancing back at Jungkook you waited for him to give her the answer, you didn't mind him reading to her with you. You adored that they were getting so close as a father and daughter, it almost made it feel like Jungkook was a real person instead of the famous singer everyone else knew him to be.
"Sure thing, which story?" He questioned following after Areuhm who went hunting for the perfect book for you both to read to her that night while you cleaned up and thought back on what Jungkook had said. 'You'll find someone who will treat you and Arehum like royalty. You deserve that' did that mean he didn't want it to be him? Did he not return the same feelings for you that you had for him? If he didn't want was the big fight for with David...Though you guess that did save you a bunch of wasted time down the line.
