In 12x16, Sam is a bull in a China shop when it comes to mentoring/parenting/caretaking

Safety vs autonomy: the core Sam dilemma

He obviously cares for Claire, but boy does he ever struggle to connect with her. He tries to do the checklist of things you do for people you care about: he asks about her wellbeing, then insists she has a hot meal! It's cute!

But...

When Sam immediately starts pressuring Claire to call Jody, he's forgetting that he's probably overstepping. He's not seen her in a while, after all! He's being classic-Sam-Winchester-pushy.

He doesn't butter her up or give them time to warm up to each other, just starts giving her the stink eye right out of the gate. In short, Sam has no finesse.

Look at Sam in the next scene, when he's finally one-on-one with Claire.

He's still pushing.

Even when he asks about if things are good, he's passive-aggressive about it. (This is very different than the straightforward approach that Cas and Dean take with Claire, as well as what we see from Jody.)

SAM: So (overdramatic sigh, a sigh full to the brim with assumptions) really? Things are good?

The way he says really. It's sooooo annoying, God bless you, Sammy.

No wonder she called him an old skeezer right after this.

Ahem. Anyway. Once of Sam's core values is independence, and in the past when he's interacted with Claire, he's embodied that, teaching her to hack credit cards, and nagging her a little bit about using hunting to run away.

Here, he's flipping quite suddenly to true parent!mode, and Claire is not reacting well at all to his sudden change OR his style.

The pushy!Sam mode isn't working for Claire, the same way the overcaring faux!therapist mode won't work for Jack in Tombstone.

Claire is kidding around with him because she's uncomfortable. She's trying to lighten the mood.

Funnily enough, I think Sam's actually losing patience/offended here!

When it comes to have patience/affinity for younger people, I don't think it comes naturally to him. That's why he reads the self-help books and books like The Drama of the Gifted Child.

It's why it often sounds so careful, so practiced, which sets him up for disaster when his very real natural impatience comes out.

In the moment, she needs validation. It's like the song she'll listen to: "I'll never be good enough, you make me wanna die." She needs to feel respected by Sam. She doesn't feel like Sam's frank with her, and she wants to prove herself so he'll respect her.

Then, Sam, poor Sam. Comes in with this sledgehammer:

See, for one of the first times ever, Sam prioritized SAFETY over AUTONOMY.

When Claire didn't tell him the truth right away, he went behind her back and called Jody to find out how exactly what Claire was lying about...

BUT he didn't "tell." He tried to have the best of both worlds.

Sam still wants to be Claire's friend. The guy in her corner. (Cas already reckoned with this way back in season 10. That was his whole conversation with the therapist: "She doesn't need a friend." etc etc. Dean naturally sets boundaries, sometimes his boundaries are too rigid, sure, but it comes more naturally all the same.)

Claire then complains about being at the proverbial "kids' table," whenever they hunt, that Claire stays in the car while Jody does everything. (Sam felt this way about John and Dean! And as far as the kids' table goes, he still struggles with that feeling.)

And boy do I love this moment:

Claire's insecurities are manifesting the same way past Sam's did: she's putting words in other people's mouths. Her own insecurities are being shunted and reflected onto other people! Sam does this so, so, so often with Dean, especially in the vintage seasons. (It's part of growing up.)

But anyway back to Sam versus safety!

And Claire explodes, kindly tells him to fuck off. There is no trust here; she and Sam do not have an established parent-child relationship, so his insistence for her to tell the truth...CHAFES.

And then BOOOM. And that's why this episode will always be beautiful to me.

Sam never thought he'd be on the other side of this issue, prioritizing a younger family member's safety over their independence and getting frustrated when they don't see things his way.

She's so hurt that she runs away. And he doesn't follow her.

Clearly, Sam hates this feeling with Claire. It paralyzes him so much that they separate and she gets hurt. Bitten. DOOMED. On his watch. All his care and worrying weren't enough. He wound up pushing her away, upsetting her, and making her less safe in the end.

In later seasons, we can assume being a parent-parent chafes for him, causing him to reckon with his safety-versus-autonomy values in a fresh, uncomfortable way. He mostly flips back to a by-the-book, mentor-style parenting/caretaker relationship with AU hunters, Jack, etc.

But this moment with Claire is chef's kiss...and to me why Sam's arc doesn't feel done at the end of season 15. This struggle right here is the path for Sam finally understanding why his family often behaved as they did! If there ever were a sequel, I think this would have to be the through line. (Also, please give Sam a Sam-John-coded kid that will drive him crazy. Pretty, pretty please!)

I used a poster from a 90’s star trek magazine and some prints of screencaps. the other stuff I used was acrylic paint/medium and gel pens. I’ve been asked about this recently so: everything is sealed, cut out, pasted down, painted, and drawn on by my hands! 🤗

System/AAC post time ☺️ (just a note. We are a poly fragmented system with a lot of members and there is overlap with how we communicate.

Different ones of us use different things to communicate.

High tech aac wise Kiku mostly uses Touchchat, Proloquo, and as of recently the semantic pro pageset in TD Snap.

Outside of high tech aac Kiku uses some ASL, noises, gestures, word approximations, and low tech aac (letterboards, core boards, communication cards, and sometimes picture cards). Kiku experiences unreliable speech but honestly Kiku's speech is more likely to be unintelligable to people that aren't our partners/caregivers.

Lavender experiences a lot of unreliable speech (he has estimated around 90% of the body's speech when fae is fronting is not what fae wants to say.) Lavender prefers Proloquo2go set to a large grid size (12x16) with a custom color code (can't remember which it's based off of but verbs are green. Lavender struggles to tell the difference between and see shades of blue sometimes, so there isn't a lot of blue in his setup.)

(Our CVI affects each of us a bit differently (for example, Kiku's easiest colors to see are yellow and green, Lavender's colors are pink, light purple, and red, and Percy's easiest to see colors are blue, red, and yellow.)

Lavender also uses Proloquo4text and recently has been trying semantic pro in TD Snap (we are very nervous about the changes that have been occuring with TD Snap/Tobii Dynavox but this post isn't about that). Lavender experiences a lot of our cognitive symptoms and aphasia (although this might just because they often front the most of the three of us.). Lavender uses one of our letterboards, texting, communication cards, and some asl. Lavender has a hard time remembering that we can use AAC and has only really recently realised how much of faer speech is unreliable.

Percy primarily uses LAMP and prefers high contrast symbols the most of the three of us (high contrast helps us all, especially with text only but Lavender prefers symbol stixx symbols) along with LAMP Percy uses a LAMP core/letterboard, some ASL, gestures, communication cards, picture cards and noises. Of the three of us Percy is the most likely to be completely silent.

We can all use LAMP (we think it's the motor planning aspect, which makes sense) but we each prefer different apps/communication methods.

Outside of the three of us we also have other alters who are AAC users. (a lot of us don't front to the outside world so they might not use AAC). We have two littles specifically who prefer ASL and writing respectively. One, Frisk, prefers ASL, and is mute (he does write when he has to (we only know so much ASL) but he's never happy about it lol) and the other struggles to talk and stutters badly when he tries and he prefers to write. (He has his own note pad but he doesn't front often.

Our AAC system is not perfect, we are still working on getting things to help us communicate, we especially don't have a good solution for when our vision and/or hearing is worse. We hope to get tactile symbols and a tactile keyguard at some point (preferably soon because our it's been a problem and it's getting hotter here which makes our vision worse).

We als want to get an accent at some point with a tactile keyguard and LAMP on it so we will have a dedicated AAC device we can always have a keyguard on.

fuck it. torches planning under the cut

We start with Magda, on Magda's episode (12x04), except that Magda doesn't want to go with her aunt, she wants to stay with Sam. He saved her. He saw her when no one else did, and he's like her too, and there's nothing wrong with him despite that. He doesn't have his powers anymore, but she wonders if they could get them back. She does not tell Sam, so calm in the face of her power but so terrified of his own, about these wonderings.

She hears about Max and Tasha Banes through secondhand only because she's still acclimating to a world where she's allowed outside of doors, though she needles Sam for long enough to get both of their numbers. This is going to pack an extra punch with what happens to Tasha, who (along with Max, of course) Magda sees as a pinnacle of survivability in the world of the supernatural without having to reject magic or hunting, but to live with both. Not just survivability, but the ability to thrive within it, to grow up in this world and not become bitter and jaded and horrified and Dean.

Magda isn't sure how to feel about Dean Winchester. He's loud and he's brash and he's bitchy, but... he makes dinner every night. He never closes the door behind him when they're in a room together, not since the first time he saw the fear in her eyes. He's clever in a subtle way, does the crossword in the paper and lets her help even when she can feel that he knows the answer, gets her a book of crosswords and sudoku puzzles after that because she seemed calmer after. He was the one to figure out that her magic will rest if her mind can be active. He's not her father and he's not her savior and he's not perfect and he's not kind, but Dean is... he's Dean.

Magda meets Claire in 12x16, over the course of which Claire is almost turned into a werewolf. Magda is in the background of that event, so she sees it but has no idea what to say. What stumbles out of her mouth is I'm sorry that happened to you. Claire looks at her sideways. They stay in touch.

Magda says I'm sorry that happened to you and Claire looks at her a second longer than she has the whole time Magda has been following Sam at the heels, and she sees this scared teenage girl sunk far into the deep end on her first swim, and Claire can't let another girl get lost in this like her and Alex and eventually Patience too. Alex asks for her number too and checks on her, but Claire calls, Claire visits, Claire reminds her to come out to Jody's every once in a while, that Sam Winchester isn't the only safe person in the world. She tells Magda about how she was brought into the world of magic and death, and Magda doesn't know how to look at Castiel the same now that she knows he wears the face of Claire's father, the father she never really got to have. The parallels between her mother and Claire's father don't escape Magda- Claire's father giving his body and his life over to Heaven, changed in a moment and Claire unable to understand or do anything about it, Magda's mama and the madness that took her as soon as they brought her home from the hospital and she saw Magda again, the way she looked at her with different eyes. The way neither of them recognized their parents in their last moments of seeing them. There's a venom in Magda that keeps coming up between her teeth, about to boil over into words nobody wants to hear and things about themselves that everybody's scared to say, but she's tired. Even the good is horrible. How does anyone survive so long in this world?

Kelly is nice to her. For all his flaws, Castiel respects Madga's ability to choose, and when she chooses to be close to that baby just as much as he does, there's no move to dissuade her. As long as she doesn't tell the Winchesters where they are, she's still allowed to visit - with the magic of her mind and the inherent communicant nature of prayer, she can request to be with them, and so when Sam and Dean aren't around and looking at her, Cas will come get her to stay for a few hours to bond with the baby and meet with and speak with Kelly, who imparts wisdom on Magda in motherly advice and asks her to look after Castiel and the baby, if she can. Kelly doesn't want to heave any more of the world onto Magda's shoulders, she says, but there's no one else she can ask. Magda tells her it would be an honor. It is.

Sam and Dean find out about Magda's liaisons not long before Jack is born, but long enough that they have time to send her to Jody's before they go find Cas. She's praying to Castiel and praying to Castiel and praying to Castiel, but Jack is more important and she knows it and then she can feel when Castiel is ripped from the world like the removal of a limb, and Claire holds her while they're both sobbing.

We meet Jack on 13x01 (the end of 12?) and it's in his pov as soon as he arrives in this world. He arrives unto this world and Mother isn't there and Father isn't there and Magda isn't there, only the Winchesters are there, and they're not exactly a kind greeting. He leaves and walks and wonders where his parents are, and then he meets Clark. On his very first day of being alive, he meets Clark. He comes back with the Winchester and meets Magda, with whom he swaps povs from that point forward.

13x03, Magda meets Patience Turner. Technically, 13x03 is supposed to fall on Jack, but I'm thinking that he has two episodes in his POV before we switch back to Mags. The thing about Patience is that Patience can see the future- she's like Magda in a way, and she's a girl Magda's own age, and she's so nice. Girls usually make Magda scared (not that Claire makes Magda scared, she just makes Magda nervous) but Patience is so... patient. She's nice. She gets along with Jack. Magda likes her.

At some point between 13x03 and apocalypse, Jack and Clark start texting, and then start calling. Enough so that they're best friends, Jack knows way too much about Clark and talks about him often, and is comfortable making assumptions about whether Clark would like things. They'll probably get together after Jack already dies in front of him once.

When Magda goes to the apocalypse world, it's not least of all because she's mad at Sam. It's also not least of all because she doesn't want Jack to be alone there. She likes Mary. Loves her, even. But trusting Sam Winchester's mother with her little brother is gonna take more of her than she's willing to give up. She trusted Mama with Elijah. It's not gonna happen again.

Jack pulls Magda and Mary both to him to protect them beneath his wings and Magda wonders whether she can believe in God again. Her little brother with his world wide wings, the gentle glow of him, there's gotta be something holy in that. He's the child of Lucifer. He's the grandchild of God.

When Magda is stuck in the apocalypse world, she reaches across the universe like she's never done before. She feels a connection in the edges of her mind. Claire. Claire can hear her. She can hear Magda and doesn't mind when she sings, doesn't mind that she's not very good at it. She keeps Magda sane. She doesn't know if she could have survived the silence twice.

Clark more or less moves in after the apocalypse world lack of communication freaked him out so badly. He knows, logically, that Jack is a dangerous person who lives a dangerous life, but Clark saw him when he still looked at the world and only saw good things among it. He just. Can't let this shit happen to him without Clark being there anymore. He might not be able to stop any of it, but everybody always wanted him to find some drive. Might as well find in the grandchild of God. Jesus Christ and all the fucking apostles, that's weird to think about.

New purgatory plot line at some point (probably season 14), maybe they go into purgatory earlier for archangel killing weapon reasons, and so when they go in, there's Krissy. Dean and Sam freak out because she was human last time they saw her, not to mention alive, and Krissy is like dude, calm down, I'm still kicking, and still human. I read about you knuckleheads making it out and also read about Emma, so I decided it was time for someone to go get her. Dean looks like he's about to throw up. Sam turns white. Magda asks Sam who Emma is. Sam doesn't know how to tell Magda that he killed a little girl for the sin of being born. Krissy is the one who tells her. Magda's power ripples across purgatory like a storm, and it's nothing she's ever wanted to be capable of, but God, she trusted Sam. Being a psychic won't kill you, being a Winchester won't save you, where are the lines? He told her she was good. What is she supposed to think?

Mary doesn't die. I'm simply not about it. Stop fridging women. When Jack is overwhelmed and Mary is following him and Jack is about to explode, Magda is there. She removes Mary from the situation, imparts it upon her mind that it is in her best interest to clear the fuck out, and she calms Jack herself. She teaches him how to play tic tac toe with sticks and rocks and a patch of dirt on the forest floor, connects their hands with the earth and sitting in the grass and she tells him about Elijah. Sits on the ground with him and the dandelions and the little bit of hope that still lives inside of her and she tells Jack about her sunshine little brother and how Jack is so, so different, but sometimes she thinks she could be the same Magda she was then when Jack is around, the older sister that still lives within her half broken, and Jack tells her that he'd like that. He's never had a sister. And Magda says, Jackie, you've always had a sister.

When Jack dies, his POV goes to Clark. Clark inherits it, almost. He feels fucking empty after watching Jack die, and it makes him feel so unequivocally shitty, because holy shit, shouldn't he feel something? This is his best friend. But the only thing he feels is this clawing emptiness, this void within him that won't stop trying to swallow him up, and maybe that's grief too.

When Jack dies, Magda's mad. She's already lost Elijah. How dare God make her lose her little brother twice? And always killed by a family member, he is your grandson! God turns upon her and Magda makes an impulsive and shitty decision; she pushes her power at him, just a rock, just quick, and the worst thing is, God smiles at her. God looks at her and he says you're interesting. And it's the first time anyone holy has ever shown an interest in Magda, and it's the worst thing she's ever felt.

Seeing Belphegor walk in her little brother's stolen skin nearly makes Magda exorcise him without even thinking about it, power twisted up inside of her and ready to push out, ready to tear and eat and keep, because no one else gets to have Jack's body. If Jack can't have it, neither can anyone else. Her little brother should be scattered to the four winds, his soul space dust lingering on her fingertips, make a wish, Magda, you have to make a wish when there are dandelions. The first time she sees Belphegor show emotion, real emotion, is the fear that steals across his stolen face as he's lifted into the air, writhing against hands no one can see but Magda can feel, her magic as tangible as her grief. Mags, he pleads, and Magda drops him, kicking him in the stomach with blessed iron toed boots that she helped make herself and God, who gave him the right? You do not call me that, she says, but she allows the demon to stay, and that feel like a bigger betrayal than anything else.

Kevin is. Kinda bitchy! To be honest, Magda isn't really sure why she likes him so much, why she finds his biting wit so charming, but he reminds her a little of how Daddy was before he and Mama went off the proverbial rails. She tethers his ghost as best as she can, and it's not because she's trying to cope with Jack, it's not. She genuinely likes him a lot. He's her friend. She ties his soul to his favorite coffee cup that Dean has kept in the top shelf of the mug cabinet in the bunker kitchen since Kevin died, terrified to lose any keepable part of him; Dean told Magda about Kevin months ago when she asked about it, pointing up at that lone cup with her head tilted and an ache in Dean's chest, a pain she could feel ripple in the room loud and clear. The guilt so sharp she could feel it in her nose. Maybe she tethers Kevin for Dean too. Maybe.

Clark stays even while Jack is dead. Clark's room in the bunker stays empty while he sleeps in the chair in Jack's room, waiting there in the night like he's gonna come back. The Winchesters don't really allow much time to mourn in their lifestyle. He shares haggard looks with Magda and Castiel. He sleeps in the chair in Jack's room. He lets Dean teach him how to hunt. He gets to know Magda and the ghost dude, Kevin. He sleeps in the chair in Jack's room. He pretends that any of this is enough to distract him from that void within him, ever growing larger.

Claire is strange about her hanging out with Kevin. She doesn't sound angry on the phone, but that's a close line with Claire; she sounds angry when she isn't, and doesn't sound angry when she is, sometimes. It's very confusing, Magda thinks. Unwilling to go to Sam or Dean, she asks Castiel if they can go see Claire. Cas&Magda adventure to go see Claire commences. Magda picking the music and putting on pop girlies because she doesn't want to show Cas her Green Day albums and being surprised when Cas sings along to pop girlies. After almost three seasons of build up, they get so close to getting together. Castiel gets a call from Dean about something eating hearts. He comes to find Magda right at the wrong moment.

When God deletes the world, Magda is surprised when she's left with the Winchesters. You're interesting, God had said, but she hadn't thought she had caught so much attention. Clark is gone, and so is Kevin, and so is... Claire. Claire is gone. The thought of it makes Magda sick, the loss of it not hitting her yet, not so soon after losing and then getting back Jack. Everything is held at arm's length.

When they get everyone back (when her little brother is God for a moment before handing it off to his great aunt, when he fixes everything as best he can with hands so small), Magda kisses Claire before there can be a word shared between them. She hauls ass and drives without her license but it's hardly the most illegal things she's ever done, so she just does it. It's terrifying.

Clark's POV comes back when he's standing across from Jack on the pavement, when Jack is glowing like God and he has a halo above his head. Jack finishes his gig and hands off his power and Clark loves him. Oh shit, he's in love with Jack. He looks up and he wills Jack to feel it, dreams of not having to say it. Jack rests his forehead on Clark's. I heard your prayer.

hi! here's something I just finished! the illustration of the man is from an 80's issue of mandate and the typography is from a car ad in a 60's issue of LIFE magazine! it's on a 12x16 inch wood panel with a depth of 7/8ths of an inch. I also used acrylic paint, acrylic medium as an adhesive, and gel pens. the panel has been varnished and has a satin finish.

some left-handed gouache studies from the past week, after taking a couple months off thanks to the arm surgery and a deep fear that being bad at it would take all the fun out of it for me. painted on 12x16 paper, so I can get less mad about my wobbly left hand and focus more on larger marks and color and composition. good news! I'm not quite as bad at it as I had worried I would be, and it is mostly still very fun. bad news: not being able to draw a straight line continues to be a legit problem.

I don't know if this arm recovery stuff is interesting to anybody besides myself, but not talking about it would make me crazy, so allow me to update you on all of the weird side effects of being able to partially but largely mostly not use my dominant hand:

- as expected, I continue to attempt to use my dominant hand for things despite the fact that it: cannot hold any weight, it cannot get my fingers out of the way when I go to grab something, portions of the back of my hand and fingers are completely numb and don't notice when they bump against things, and despite the fact that I get weird nerve pain if I attempt to manipulate anything smaller than a tennis ball for any length of time

- I am most likely to thoughtlessly switch to my dominant hand in the middle of drawing or painting, in the middle of brushing my teeth, and while eating. apparently these are the three things I do where I get into a flow state.

- I am starting to confuse right and left, not so much as absolute directions, but as used to determine which way to tighten or loosen the lid on a jar or similar rotational acts that it turns out I absolutely do not have a logical structure for solving for anymore.

- I am starting to think of using my dominant hand for any purpose as "cheating", which is definitely counterproductive, but that's the ol' internalized ableism for you.

- I am more convinced than ever that our entire society has been designed to be subtly infuriating to deal with using your left hand, and there is no way anyone who is left hand dominant needs to hear my opinions on the matter, but wow. gosh. geeze.

- I oscillate wildly between being deeply deeply grateful for adaptive tools and being deeply deeply angry about their limits. again, there is nobody out there who has been using any of these adaptive tools for more than 2 months who needs to hear my thoughts on the matter, so this message is just for able-bodied people: you cannot call a tool a successful replacement for abled usage methods if it does not allow self-determination in how you use it. Microsoft, I'm looking at you and the many useful swearwords you censor when i try using your speech to text tools.

I do still really love painting, and drawing, and writing, even though they are all now very much new challenges all over again. I suspect mostly I'm just speed running the same experience many people will go through as they age of having to modify and realign their approach to their usual modes of expression and interaction and creation, which is something people have been doing for as long as society has existed, which just means I'm going to be better at it, obviously, thanks to getting this Head start

and maybe a year from now I will have the ability to hold things in my dominant right hand for more than 30 seconds, and definitely a year from now I will have a lot more precise control over my left hand, so I guess there's lots to look forward to 👍

in the meantime I will continue to paint my favorite things!

This post by the amazing @shallowseeker was getting long so I'm making one here but I really do love Shal's phrasing of Sam being a bull in a china shop / being super clumsy with emotions in 12x16

I love this scene!! I love it!! Sam really does try to reach out and connect with people but he's far too focused on getting through to people with logic. He spends this time defending Jody and pushing Claire to tell Jody that he completely dismisses how Claire is feeling

Claire does try opening up, she tries to tell him that she still feels left out from Jody and Alex's relationship (something she's explicitly told Sam in 11x12) and feels insecure about it. But he kinda just steamrolls how she's feeling and tells her she needs to be handling things differently, when she really just wants to be heard. She snaps that they don't care because Sam is not listening, he doesn't care about how she's feeling

She specifically says if you care, treat me like an adult. She doesn't appreciate Sam's demands that either she tells Jody what she's up to or he will tell on her to her mom, like how condescending is that!!

This very much is the time for Sam to say that they do see her as an adult but the reason they want her to be more careful is because the dangers of hunting are about experience, not necessarily age. She lays it all out but Sam snaps and agrees that they ARE benching her specifically because they think of her as a stupid kid ofc she's gonna storm off

And then after all of that when it comes to Claire choosing whether she should take the cure that could potentially kill her, he's all for her making her own choices about life and death as if she's and adult lmao, and then in the following scene again presses her about whether she's going to tell Jody. It's just interesting!!

I'm feeling pretty serious about doing pet/nature portrait commissions.

And I think I found a good formula to figure out prices

(length/height + width) x canvas price

- most of the time the canvas price will be $4 (because I use the value canvases we have at work)

- If a more professional canvas is selected (like the Level 1, 2, 3 Gallery Wrapped/ Back Stapled) then the canvas price will be raised. Those bitches are expensive.

UNFORTUNATELY any size larger than 18x24 would most like use the Level 1 Back Stapled canvases (to not break the customer's bank of course, we're all struggling)

THESE ARE PHYSICAL PAINTINGS so extra charge for postage will be applied after. I would do my best to use a Flat Rate Box when I could to save the customer money.

So here's what I'm thinking, and tell me if these prices seem fair.

So in my ever continuing brain rot concerning Jack Jeanne, I did a tiny bit of splurging…and got me the limited edition version of the Japanese edition of the game 😅 Why do I keep doing this to myself, I can’t read Japanese!!! But at least with the game I know what I’m doing (but I already have the English version but it’s nice to have this one too). It came with the physical game, another art book, a mini novel, a drama cd, a soundtrack, and here’s the funny bit.

When I ordered this thing the description was limited and in Japanese and I had a hard time figuring out what was included. So I sent the seller a message asking and they told me it included the stuff I mentioned before along with a bonus picture. I figured it was like those bonus picture things I reblogged a couple posts of before so I was excited to possibly get some since I’ve said how pretty they look!

Anyways it finally got here and had everything mentioned…and now about that bonus picture. With the box there was a tiny file showing one of the bonus pics (one with all the Quartz babies so I was happy). And I figured that was it and was about to throw away the box……when I realized there was something heavy still in the box. So I saw this cardboard thing that I originally assumed was just there for support until I noticed it was covered in plastic. I open it up….and inside is a 12x16 version of the smaller pic framed in a simple but cute looking Jack Jeanne frame!!!! Like holy shit!!!!

Anyways, yeah I’m a happy camper! And I’m happy I managed to get at least ONE of those pretty bonus pictures! And that if I had to get any at least it was one of all of my sweethearts!
