Went to the doctor just for a check up and he basically just told me "your body just processes sugar very well! :) :) :) It's a good thing! :) :) :) It can't possibly be the source of your symptoms even though eating fixes it :) :) :)" But there was also a moment when talking about my iron deficiency that is possibly one of the funniest things a doctor has ever said to me, up with the cardiologist who said "you're a medical mystery": He was going over my blood test results, and said "Your iron levels haven't gone up at all, they are still extremely low, but you're not anemic anymore" And I was like how am I not anemic anymore??? And he said "Your hemoglobin levels have gone up...somehow..." while frowning at the blood test results on his computer. It was very "somehow, palpatine has returned" lol

#the person behind the yarn #medical mention #food mention #he did at one point say the iron issue is probably an absorption issue #which. give this is either my third or my sixth absorption issue (depending on if you count electrolytes)#I'm not exactly surprised but I'm also not thrilled #at some point it stops being 'your body is very good at processing' and starts being #'your body just yeets all nutrients out of it!'#I am on two different medications to make me retain salt more #like. one that is 100% the entire reason I take that med #one that that's a side effect of that med strong enough they thought I shouldn't take both together #until they did bloodwork to check (and found it was appropriate to take both)#and I STILL need a RIDICULOUS amount of salt #and sometimes! even with two different meds and like four different kinds of salt pills! I straight up do not retain salt!#I get super dehydrated and cannot fix it for days!#and I am more tired of it than I perhaps realized #just real tired of doctors going 'your body is just so efficient at processing :) :) :)'#I am already doing all the low blood sugar things. smaller more frequent meals lots of protein lots of complex carbs #not looking for advice just wanted to share the 'somehow...your hemoglobin has gone up'#because I do genuinely find that really funny

just going about my day idly contemplating how some of the ways hawke can interact with a romanced anders are not at all unlike how they interact with leandra (and a bit of carver too, especially with a purple hawke), and then thought about my hawke in the timeline where he romances anders and was hit straight in the face with 'was he ever actually in love, or was he just desperately trying to renegotiate with his mother's ghost in any way he could' and now i need to lie down. this is the power of dragon age 2

#'you don't know my mother' haunting me through the years #dragon age #dragon age 2 #hawke #On second thought let's not go to Kirkwall; it is a silly place #there are of course as many ways to do/read that relationship as there are players to interact with it haha and all valid!#but my personal version of handers is sooo fucked up and bad times for everyone involved and I love it haha.#this is a relationship neither of them should have been in and that made everything worse and everyone unhappy in the end #locked tomb levels of the horrors of love. i ship it but in the way that I want to make it sadder and more gutwrenching each time #to be clear this is a very mutual two-way kind of fucked up but I think varric in his loyalty and love would downplay hawke's side of it #for huge swathes of their relationship anders is not in a mental place to be a good partner and the emotional blackmail is Not Okay #(but it's just like how mother used to make it! hawke's soul cries sadly as it reaches for it hungrily)#which is in some ways fair enough no one could accuse him of not warning you ahead of time fjskda #but hawke is messy about it in a way only available to a covert people pleaser who has never had a millisecond of therapy #with some added stuff that my hawke is always acespec in some form and when he gets together with anders...#is the sex something he doesn't particularly care to have or not have but it 'makes anders happy'/he longs to feel wanted *and* needed #and also a way he gets out of ever being *actually* vulnerable (which I think he'd had to be with varric for example if he Went There )#'you want the hawke who's in your head so badly and I kind of wish I were that hawke too. so let's be collaborateurs with that fantasy'#(and then maybe if I do it right every time you'll finally be happy hawke says in his heart looking at this leandra-anders phantom form)#(and echoing stuff in varric's relationship to hawke but I think the important distinction there is that varric -- is a craftsman haha #he KNOWS when he's lying/making up a story he KNOWS the difference between what is and what he wishes the world was #(I think there's some deep longing there to not know; for it to blend together or have the power to change things. but he always knows)#which ironically leaves him in a better position to actually see and understand hawke the person #even as he is creating hawke the literary figure. almost to protect him in some ways? god da2 is so full of STUFF!!! I adore it)#and of course anders gets so disillusioned with hawke's inertia and lack of action (you all but married this man anders!#you should know this about him he's already carrying the whole family and city on his shoulders if you add a gram more he'll collapse!)#and hawke feels so desperately hurt that the promise anders seemed to make that he'd be enough -- that he could fix things for him --#('I'm the one bright light in kirkwall and that apparently doesn't count for shit so I'm just slowly turning to ash for you')#turned out to be untrue. anyway. sad now. imagine them meeting like twenty years on what the fuck could you even say to each other then #(I can't imagine Hawke ever physically hurting anyone he loves so he just tells Anders to leave at the end of DA2. they COULD meet again

On the one hand, I don't believe Megumi and Gojo were ever too close, even if their apparent closeness called my attention since their first scene together because of the way they behaved and talked to each other.

On the other hand, Megumi was a fifteen years old with a lot of problems, a pretty bad childhood and a bit of an attitude to say the least, and Gojo, besides Tsumiki, was the "paternal" figure he could turn against

#In his 'you're nothing of mine!' phase is what I'm saying haha #I mean he sort of did that with Tsumiki already and then regretted it when it was too late #I know he doesn't speak to Gojo using the language structure that showcases closeness #But I find it so clear in their dynamic despite how little it is developed. How Megumi comments about slapping him on the very first chapte #Gojo taking pictures of Megumi because he look terribly worn down. Gojo and Megumi knowing each other‚ truly‚#their personalities and how they deal with stuff‚ before Megumi truly begun his studies in Jujutsu High at the very beginning #Megumi making that comment about how Ijichi is useless to make him leave as Gojo did #How they train together. How Megumi asked. How Gojo knows Megumi doesn't like asking him. How Gojo knows Megumi's mind #and what happens behind his decision making and how that's linked to his personality and way of seeing life #How he warns him and advices him in that very context. How that saves his life #but how also that is kinda in a way what Gojo does at the very end. The letter. The laughter. Megumi's soft smile alongside Shoko #It's not much. They didn't have a super close bond and it wasn't a dynamic the writer developed much at all #not even the 'not close' aspect of it #But yet it's there nonetheless. The clues that they knew each other first and knew each other for years and thus *knew* each other #And the fondness #So yeah I don't think they had the closest bond at all but also Megumi enhancing that they don't talking to Gojo in a distant way #because he's going through that 'you're nothing of mine/you're not my dad!' phase and thus ironically demonstrating they are indeed close #is such a funny idea to me and the fact it's sort of canon-compliant #(given his personality the traces of their closeness and the Tsumiki situation) makes it all the more hilarious xD #They're everything to me and could have been even more had they been developed a bit more. Even if just in their nothingness #But wow is their relationship juicy and interesting #I talk too much #I should probably delete this later #Ignore the typos I'm feeling lazy

🎶I have this thing where I make a new show/album my personality every 3-6 months—🎶

#rn it’s new girl #October was Steven universe which is painfully ironic in hindsight #😀#AND ALSO AGATHA ALL ALONG we had two shows in the fall thank goodness #we had a brief book of bill obsession #this summer was tortured poets #last spring it was the office #what will the next one be #ladybug? pnf?#I love both of those shows but it’s not really healthy for me to make them my personality😅#I’m hoping to like #be excited but chill for all the new content #it is cool that the two shows that really got me into fandom will likely be airing new stuff at the same time tho #I do need to finish adventure time but I don’t see myself becoming obsessed with that beyond the pre existing bubbaline obsession #anyway #fandom #cadence rambles #ik there’s lots of newer Disney cartoons as well but i just don’t find myself intrigued by any of them #I miss the high fantasy of toh and amphibia but that era is over #I’m not really interested in the misadventures of a bunch of random children on an island 😅#NO OFFENSE TO ANYONE WHO WANTS TO WATCH THAT OR GOD FORBID WORKS ON IT #I’m just not the target demographic and not intrigued that’s ok!#I’m enjoying stuff about adults more these days (other than stuff I grew up with)#like new girl they’re all in their late 20s and barely have their lives together and I’m only 24 it just makes me feel normal and alright #rather than looking back to my past and mourning what I could have been #anyway. diary entry over.

Picking up where I left off…

Because I completely forgot to talk about the actual scene in mention! Hinamori’s arrival at the fake Karakura town is one of my favorite aihina scenes because it’s the moment Aizen realizes, as I stated in my original post, that he cannot cross the sea between himself and his former comrades and fellow companions.

One by one, both his companions and enemies are leaving him behind. His army is defeated by the same people he believes himself to be superior to. His former peers have all come together to take him down. The line has been drawn in the sand. There’s no going back, Aizen has no choice but to transcend. (He can’t seem to shake off this emptiness, no matter how far he climbs. No matter what challenge he overcomes. The echo grows louder.)

And to add insult to injury, what if Aizen himself did not sense Hinamori’s arrival before her reveal? What a slap in the face. He was the one who recognized her potential, recruited her, (bonded with her), trained her. She’s not supposed to live without him (because Aizen - the one who yearns for connection - could not live without her. That’s why he had to leave her, kill her, and she has the audacity to survive? To return stronger? She was supposed to die with him).

She can do what he can’t. She can overcome him. And that’s an affront that needs to be punished.

#his power is collaborative in nature. His zanpaktou is only as powerful as those who fill in the gaps #he can become what they want him to be if it serves his needs #he's empty. like the same god that disgusts him.#so he loses either way - he submits to an unworthy power or is the sole soul to ascend #(of course it doesn’t have to be this way but he’s too far gone. it’s also ironic that he trades his zanpaktou (his soul)#that relies on the imagination of others for a magic marble made up of the same unworthy souls he rejects)#either way he’s still made in their image. it’s cyclical #I can’t help but think of daenery’s “if I look back I am lost” because aizen has no past.#that’s the point. he’s rootless. there’s no beginning or end and that’s why I believe in the end he wanted to die #another lyric from Lingua Ignota’s Pennsylvania Furnace “me and the dog die together”#also I don’t believe we would have wanted to go back to SS I just think it’s at fake KT that aizen finally realizes how alone he is #and this climb that never ends #also why I believe bleach should have ended once he was defeated but 🤷‍♀️

pertaining to the idea of tenax’s band of strays i do think it’s touching that the kids are the ones who saved him and waited outside the door to make sure he’s okay. for all tenax claims to be harsh and cruel it’s a fine indicator of his character that the kids won’t rest without him and are there every time he’s in danger.
