You know what I hate real real bad?

How people mischaracterize Colin (they do the same to Pen but I am going to make that a separate post for her) when we have proof that directly goes against their claims.

"Colin did not see Pen as worthy"

"Colin did not have love for/care for Pen/or pay attention to her until season 3"

"Colin does not truly love her it's only lust"

I understand having your own opinion but there are times when the opinion is OBJECTIVELY WRONG. I also don't like how folks have chosen to do this to likely the kindest male lead we'll have who expressed his love for his partner CONSTANTLY and CONSISTENTLY.

Those aren't the only things I've heard or seen but they are among the biggest misconceptions. Outside of not realizing the extent of his feelings for Pen until a catalyst (the first kiss, while we also see in the first two episodes moments that are also leading up to the realization), it is and has never been that he sees Pen as unworthy he sees HIMSELF as unworthy. WE see this even after he knows that she returns his feelings which he did not even know until the carriage. After the carriage and even while he is working through the LW reveal, he still does not feel worthy of her which is a big part of Pen reminding him in words and actions that being him makes him more than worthy. We see how worthy he sees her when he tells her to never forget that SHE is Penelope Featherington. We also see it when he is absolutely puzzled during the first kiss scene at the fact that Pen sees herself in such a self-deprecating way. He can not even imagine a life for her that is not reflecting the very best.

Next, Colin is arguably the main person we see show a genuine interest in Pen as well as truly treasuring her in his life. From dancing with her in a protective fashion after Cressida through a drink at her, having conversation together where they are the only people who get what they are saying and what it means, getting involved with Jack's plot in order to protect Pen and by extension the Featheringtons because that is Pen's family, writing to her and seeing her correspondence as his most treasured, laughing with each other on multiple occasions, seeking her out for either conversation or a dance no matter what whenever they come across each other at a social gathering. I could go on and that's just in the first two seasons. Not showing romantic interest does not mean that he did not deeply love and care for her. Colin and Pen mutually made each other feel seen and understood in a way in no one else did...is that not an expression of love? If Colin had not already treated Pen in the way he had she likely would not have fallen so deeply in love with him. Colin being so loving, caring, kind, understanding, interested in Pen and what she had going on, and much more also plays a role in why she is able to forgive him for his thoughtless comment last season. He reflects the character we have known him to be towards the end of S3 E1 when we see a genuine apology where he takes accountability tells Pen how much she means to him and seeks out how he can make up for his mistake.

Lastly, the Colin does not love her and only lusts for her is just not even kind of true. We are talking about the same man who has expressed his love (whether via 'i love yous', in his words, actions, looks, closeness, etc.) for his partner so so so often and in such a way we likely will never see with another pairing. This the man who would prefer sleep than to be awake because in his dreams they were in love and together. The same man where his whole world was topsy turvy following his realization of those same feelings. The same man whose dream about Pen that STARTED with Pen returning his feelings of love for her then led to a hot makeout. The same man who put it all on the floor and said societal rules be damned (as he always did with her) because even if it was unrequited he was going to let Pen know just how much he loved her and wanted to be with her...to show her that one person in her life would be willing to fight her no matter the opponent or cost because she would always be worth it. The same man who stood up to her mother to show that she would no longer be allowed to treat the love of his life in such an ugly way. The same man who expresses his love for Pen without ceasing and even when we did not hear the expressions as much (while working through the LW reveal and his own insecurities). The same man who turned his fianceé around so that she could only day see and believe everything he loved about her for herself. The same man who put so much intention into their first time so that it reflected something they were doing together. The same man who was so in love enamored and joyful to be with the love of his life that it felt like his first time. The same man who even when never considered not marrying Pen even at his most heartbroken and angriest DUE to how much he loved her and knowing and believing that she felt the same. The same man who when he sees her come down the aisle he forgets everything else and only thinks about how lucky he is to marry his favorite person, his best friend, and the love of his life. The same man who has given us arguably the most touching love confession that will be so hard to beat because he expresses not only how much loves and admires Pen; he expresses what he was struggling with (how he overcame it and reframed it) and how he realized that his ultimate joy and privilege in this one life he gets to live is to be able to love and be loved by her. The love is on display in countless ways. While we also know that they match each other's freak real bad and have palpable passion and desire for each other...the love is and has always been the center even before they knew the love was requited.

I don't know which Colin Bridgerton alot of folks saw but it was not the one we have seen from season 1, 2, or 3. Do you have to love Colin/Pen/Polin/or their story with your whole heart like me? Of course not. I can't allow the blatant and incorrect character assassination though. Turn your brains on, I beg.

Things that made me happy (or sad) from The Chosen s4

Calling Simon Peter! – man, chills, literally chills.

And the Matthew and Jesus talk. I liked how Matthew was open with his emotions and then learned something from it.

Jesus' words: I make people what they aren't. Yes, Jesus, please make me what I'm not. Only You are able to.

This being said – Matthew apologizing to Peter and then Simon Peter forgiving Matthew. A m a z i n g. The hug? Te relief on Matthew's face? The Peter's growth? I can see him being a leader.

Jesus always noticing the rejected ones – the blind man. Sure, he had friends (they were talking with Jesus) but the way he was sitting on stairs to the Temple and nobody gave him a second glance, but Jesus did.

I've never been to a wedding banquet, but I'm on my way to one. and then You wouldn't get it. These are your last words?

Some comic relief scenes: poor Matthew not understanding some things (and I get it, believe me, I do) as Andrew telling him he should write request on paper to speak with Peter or lifting his hand when pharisee asked who's writing Jesus' words down. Or Nathaniel? This man is hilarious. Not wanting to be chaperon for Thomas and Remah but telling John he won't be reliabe one to do it himself. Or questioning other followers' skills with pomegranates. Idk, I was laughing so hard.

Gaius. Oh my. I don't even know where to start. I loved his story. I loved how big his faith was. I loved how he cared about Matthew from the very begining. And he wanted to go to Jerusalem for Passover! I wonder how he'll react to news about Jesus dying... I know we don't have some things in The Bible, but do you think Jesus is going to reveal Himself to Gaius after resurrection? I hope He will.

Also I liked how the side characters of the story (like Yussif and Jair) were willing to protect Jesus even when they knew that He was Almighty God. They were sweet. They really loved Jesus.

Jesus with Romans!!! Oh my- This was His teaching in a nutshell. And Romans faces when Jesus told them they go further with them and how they started to take their things back form the disciples.

Matthew being ever the gentleman and taking heavy bacpack, so Mary won't have to carry it. I loved it. Also, can we talk about their meeting after years? And Matthew brave: still unusually pleasant to look at. That was very cute.

Showing Jesus as a human (His words to Mother Mary: also a human) and His frustration, anxiety and fear. I think it's very important to remember that He was a God as He was a human. And this is such a mystery to me? That God decided that He wanted to be one of us. Oh how much He has to love us!!!

So, I've just finished the first season of the Owl House, and i don't understand why people like Eda and call her King's mom when she is so mean?!

In the first episode alone she pokes Hooty in the eye, and says Luz is more valuable to her alive (than dead) even though Luz is clearly scared. And she tells Luz she will only allow Luz to return home if this 14 years old helps her first. Luz clearly doesn't understand the world and its dangers, yet Eda brings her and an 8 years old Kind to a prison without even explaining the tyrannical regime and the existence of the capital punishment. Idk, the vibes are really fishy there? She doesn't even want to free the prisoners in the Conformatorium and flippantly jokes about the Warden tormenting 'some tiny creature'! The impression is that she is at best a rather uncaring and apathetic person. And, as we know, there is no such thing as character development and characters always stay the same as their first appearences, so Eda doesn't value community and hates children forever.

And people say she is a great teacher, but she doesn't even want to teach Luz in the first episode. She didn't even try to think whether Luz would be able to learn magic before making a promise to teach her. And then in episode 2 she cruelly mocks a 14 years old for believing herself to be a chosen one - even King, who is a child, lately admits it was cruel - and she never learns from her mistake because in episode 6 she claims she would never trust Luz again if Luz messes up, causing Luz anxiety to the point not only Luz but also Willow and Gus believe Eda would hurt them at the end of the episode! Yes, she says she only wants them to clean her house but why did she need to pretend to seriously threaten them?

And she never truly apologizes or [verbally flagelates herself] explains how and why she changed her mind, so I am not saying you must hate her, but we can appreciate the person she becomes later, while [only focusing on imaginary bad things about her] acknowledging all the shitty things she's done! Such as: She constantly physically and emotionally (through neglect) abuses Hooty in front of children, endorses child labor, uses wages against an elementary schooler and brags about humiliating King in episode 3, cruelly mocks Gus, Willow and the Blight kids. She even said she would let the twins die by Sleetherbeast to save herself! And kinda suspicious how she knew Odalia and Alador and so must know that they are bad parents yet doesn't try to help the Blight kids. Seems like she had been complacent in their abuse for years, don't you think?

And i am not saying that i am completely against mama Eda either, but to enjoy anything involving her and King everyone must first admit that she has been emotionally negletful and physically abusive towards King. Because King doesn't even know he is a child - that's super fucked up, right? And he doesn't have any friends and thinks demons are underappreciated - and obviously it's because Eda made him feel that way, and he acts older than his age, probably because he had to act as her personal therapist. And, yes, Eda is physically abusive too, since in the episode 4 she says she would break every bone in King's body for stealing the elixir, and that can't be an unfortunate writing choice, because we must look at the scenes in isolation and chose the worst possible interpretation of the character, and if you don't see it that way that means you can't deal with admiting your fave has flaws! Also she literally ate someone in episode 2.

But don't worry, you are alowed to like Eda as long as you are agreeing with all the bad faith interpretations of her and want her to self-flagelate and every character to hate her and talk down to her. And she must experience over the top guilt that no other character has to experience, including begging for King's forgiveness on her knees. Oh, and don't forget that you absolutely must crawl into the notes for any silly fanart of her with King to whine how she 'needed to be nicer sooner' and put your Eda bashing fics in her tag while laughing how 'mama Eda stans' must hate you now! Anyway, i am going to go make a fanwork about older King realizing what a shitty parent Eda had been and he isn't sure whether he would be able to forgive her, but it's ok, she is allowed to become a one-dimensional comfort provider as long as it brings the notes in.

I love my brain at three in the morning. That's when it generates crazy ideas. So today we will analyze symbolism in religious images that I saw in the cartoon.

My English is not very good, so I'm curious to see what happens. So I apologize in advance for any mistakes.

Let's start with something simple, like the fact that Frollo and Esmeralda pray to the Virgin Mary, which was strange to me as a non-Catholic. If we analyze this on the basis of images, the Virgin Mary is sometimes depicted in a Byzantine prayer pose. This means that the Virgin is the intercessor of the faithful and raises their prayers to God.

My favorite moment is the one with the door, which many people have talked about as a symbol of God's intervention. In general, the first thing I associate with them is the phrase. "I am the light of the world." And also with the fact that Jesus Christ will enter this world through the Virgin Mary, as if through a door. It's an interesting combination. I like it.

I love the fact that the party announcement was gonna play during this whole start of the conversation they were gonna have.

They both apparently wake up with literally two airhorns I don’t blame them. Maggie definitely look like that. She had an irritated dream while we all know what Gil was probably dreaming about~~~~~~

Not gonna lie I had to ask my twin sister to read this update for me because I was genuinely worried that this whole conversation was going to go haywire or probably go worse in case of everyone was going to get in disagreement, but I’m glad that Ava also wanted to apologize and admit that she did definitely say some hurtful things to Gil when her only plan was to try to recruit him and get him to trust her.



I’m glad that Maggie doesn’t seem to be butting in and it’s just allowing Gil and Ava to have a time to talk. But not gonna lie I really did like Maggie having her hair down. It just made her look very pretty, and very sort of calm because with her hair up it just kinda look like she was always ready for something while her having her hair down just kind of seems like she’s more relaxed. I don’t know how to explain it. it’s like as a girl myself I always put my hair up whenever I need to do something while I only allow my hair down whenever I know I’m going to relax or I’m just going to chill so I guess it’s kinda like that.



Ava was definitely on a roll here. She seemed as if she wanted Gil to trust her that she would believe him if he were to admit that he has Nevi as a host same way that Ava has Wrathia as her pacted demon.

I also enjoyed that Gil does seem to be listening to her, but doesn’t exactly want to put his full attention towards her probably meaning that he is still having second thoughts on whether or not to fully forgive her or to fully believe her since he’s right on one thing, they are still very different.

Ava honey no it was definitely not fate. I’m sorry, but I feel so bad that these four were stuck with having to be the host of four powerful demons that no matter what affected their life to the point where affected the people around them and affected the way of their own thinking like they couldn’t really spend their childhood doing what they want because there was always something going on.

Example:

Wrathia practically controlled Ava’s life to the point where she made her be abandoned by everyone around her.

Even though we don’t know too much, I want Pedri to Odin, all we can guess is that that similar to Wrathia, Pedri didn’t really controlled Odin, but he did become somebody that Odin was terrified of exact same way that Wrathia terrified Ava.

From what we can guess with Nevi, even though she didn’t hurt Gill in anyway, she did became the reason that when Gil tried to talk about her, or tried to understand her existence, people started considering him a weirdo because he was either seen talking to himself or doing something when he was alone.

And we don’t know too much about Maggie and Tuls, but I can’t imagine on how Maggie had to be careful with being packed with Tuls especially with the leaves, coming out of her hair and having to use his powers to get someone to like her only for that to fail and weaken him a bit.

So no matter what it pained me when Ava started talking about how it was fate that brought them together when in my opinion, they were just the unlucky group that were chosen to be hosts with a bunch of demons who wanted to escape a failed victory of some sort.

I did not end up helping with the list. That was all D. I pushed for a longer time for skins to be considered thread killers. 2-3 hours was ridiculous at the time and I pushed for longer. The only thing I did was suggest a spreadsheet and offer to code it.

The reason I did in the first place is because I genuinely thought I was helping the community. I know it sounds dumb, but at the time I thought it was the right thing. I didn't stop to consider the effect it would have on the artists and if I had thought about it for even one second, we wouldn't be here today.

I understand now that what I said and offered to do was stupid and harmful. I'm sorry for all the damage I caused to the UMA community as a whole. I have edited that post where I offered to code the spreadsheet with an apology. I don't expect everyone to forgive me, I just want people to understand there was no malice.

I don't stand for art elitism. I think it's made the art community a toxic place and I try to go out of my way to encourage other artists. I feel like people have been assuming I was trying to be elitist when that wasn't my intent. I understand how what I said could be interpreted that I was and I want to work on that.

I am not friends with S, D, or RW. I don't think I'd really talked with any of them before this and I haven't talked to them since. Please stop calling us buddies. I don't know about the relationship between S, D and RW but I don't know them. I would really like if people would stop acting like I'm as bad as them. They all doubled down on the thread killer list being right, I didn't. They're full ass adults, I'm a minor. If the minor in the situation can admit they were wrong, the adults in the situation sure as hell can. Instead they've chosen to double down and I don't think they'll change their minds.

The plot I had in mind is that while historically it is written that Qin never chosen an official Empress, he had a bunch of consorts. And since everyone dead or alive is present to witness Ragnarok, after Qin's fight /all healed up, all his consorts came to see him. Frozen: Forces of Nature Podcast

Everything we know so far:

So as we all know and have been talking about for the past few days, there's a newly announced podcast called 'Frozen: Forces of Nature'. The podcast will tell a cannon story set after Frozen 2 and before Frozen 3. The podcast is going to be a 12 part series, 15 - 20 minutes each episode and this will be season 1. The story will feature two new characters; Queen Disa of Sankerhus and Wolfgang is the Duke of Weselton's nephew. It is set to release in October ahead of the 10th anniversary of the franchise (and the first movie). The plot goes as follows:

'The series follows Queen Anna, who has a lot on her plate – there are visitors in her Kingdom, a friend in need, and even the Duke of Weselton’s nephew skulking around – so when the Spirits of Nature start acting up, she knows she has to solve the problem – and fast – before things get more out of control. But when Anna and Elsa travel to the Enchanted Forest, they find mysterious copper machines that are disrupting the natural order of things. Who made these machines and what are they doing in the forest? And more importantly, how do Anna and Elsa stop them?'

In other official sources, they've given a little more detail about the events going on:

'Queen Anna has a lot on her plate. She has welcomed Disa, the Queen of the small neighboring nation and her people to Arendelle when their kingdom is flooded. Disa is eager to learn about the scientific nature of magic.

Also in Arendelle is Lord Wolfgang, the Duke of Weselton’s nephew, on an apology tour for his uncle’s behavior. He very much wants to secure Queen Anna’s forgiveness and hopes to convince the people of Arendelle of the merits of trade with Weselton.

When a mysterious fire happens at the castle and the Spirits of Nature start acting up Elsa, Anna, and Disa travel to the Enchanted Forest to uncover the cause, where they discover mysterious steam-powered copper machines: automatons.

Where do the automatons come from and what are they doing? Who is directing them? Most importantly, how do Elsa, Anna, and Disa stop them from upsetting the natural balance of the Enchanted Forest and Arendelle?'

So let's point out the key things here and other information in other official sources too:

- Anna is feeling the pressure of being Queen so far, which for me is no surprise given she wasn't prepared to be Queen so soon.

- The Duke of Weselton's nephew, Wolfgang is visiting Arendelle to apologize to Elsa and Anna on behalf of his uncle for the things he did in Frozen and restore the trading relationship of Weselton with Arendelle

- Queen Disa's Kingdom, Sankerhus, is flooded (most likely due to chaos in the forest) and hence she and her people temporarily move to Arendelle

- Sankerhus is one of the neighbouring Kingdoms of Arendelle, like the Southern Isles

- Queen Disa is intrigued by the "scientific nature of magic"

- A mysterious fire occurs in Arendelle castle which causes the spirits to go wild causing Elsa, Anna and Disa to travel to the Enchanted Forest where they discover steam - powered, copper machines called automatons

- The person who created these machines will most likely be revealed in the podcast

Some of you may be wondering why a podcast? Why not an official novel/ book? Why not a short? I was wondering the same thing when this was first announced. I had mixed feelings on this too. But the more I read posts and the more I thought about it the more I started seeing why the story was chosen to be in this format. I think with books and movies it's typical that that's how stories would be told to us. But I think Disney is trying a new way of telling stories without animation involved with audio steaming as a first of its franchises. It is said that it's also for parents to help kids reduce screen time and I also so that they save money for future animation projects especially for Frozen 3, which is a sensible thing to do honestly speaking. Perhaps they didn't make it a Short because the story was more detailed than just a simple one like Frozen Fever and Olaf's Frozen Adventure and the story would not fit in a short but a long enough to be a movie.

But you still might be unsure about the story of the podcast being with the whole nature Vs machine thing. But to be fair we don't know much about these machines or what their purpose is so we can't really say anything about it yet. All we know is that they are "steam powered, copper machines" and when I searched them up on Google I found images like these:

They sound (by the name of it) and look very appropriate for the time period Frozen is set in. But let's not panic if you're still unsure with the machines taking the focus. Frozen is about magic - in each and every movie, long or short, they've explored some kind of magic. So it's given they're not gonna go all out with this science Vs magic theme. The characters and their intentions in the story are the focus of the story. When the sisters find out about these machines they will stop them because it disturbs the enchanted forest. That's the point - to get rid of these machines. Obviously what this person is doing is wrong and has to stop and that's what the sisters will be doing in the first season of the podcast. Besides the podcast cast multiple seasons so this will be the plot for season 1 only.

And no this isn't going to be the plot of Frozen 3 or anything similar because why would they make it the plot of the podcast and not of Frozen 3? Frozen 3 will be entirely different from this podcast. We still have a couple more years til Frozen 3 is out with a rough estimate. They might drop some Frozen 3 plot hints in these podcasts and some of the characters might make an appearance in the upcoming movie but the plot will be different. but highly doubt they would make Frozen all industrial machinery. If the person behind these machines has a good intention they might use their machinery to help advance Arendelle just a little more (I'm guessing). But they won't play a role in it. Frozen is about the characters - some of which have magic! Elsa and Anna have no links to machinery or anything so let's not jump to conclusions and judge the story without, let alone listening to it, but it even being out yet.

I don't think the podcast will be crucial to the story in Frozen 3 so if some of you don't want to watch it by all means don't but Frozen 3 is something different altogether. I think they're just trying to expand the franchise and keep the fandom alive and talking and theorising in the run up to the movie because it's fine Frozen fandom would die done because Frozen 2 was originally going to be the last movie of the movie series, but now that's it not they want to make sure we're all back in the game again.

We only have theories of our own. Nothing is confirmed regarding Frozen 3 other than the fact that the main Original cast will be returning (voices of Elsa, Ann, Olaf and Kristoff (plus Sven!)) and that it will be run with a new director instead of Jennifer Lee. Who else will be returning or will be joining new, we have to wait and see.

New changes to something old we love is hard but we have to give it a try in order to see if the change was good or not.

for the family abolition, the vn pulls out the guts of the family as an institution and then asks you to pretend that it’s halloween candy. to look at them with love instead of endorising leaving the family register. ange forgiving eva at the end of alliance, for example. because ange can’t find the will to live without the family illusion, because yasu regrets the murders once they occur. i've heard some say it's toothless regardless of japanese context. or to at least endore parricide lol.

a. First, you quoted from @huayno for the "pulls out guts" / "halloween candy" bit. Credit people for taking their words at least.

b. You seem to think that "looking at family with love" and "leaving the family register" are mutually exclusive. They are not. Not only is it what Yukari herself does, but it is something that I see often in real life. People who have experienced family abuse can go no-contact with their family while also loving them and remembering their family as both loving and abusive. Family relationships are complicated.

Someone struggling with how they view their abusive family is different from the story endorsing a complete return to an abusive family situation, or endorsing that the person, despite their abuse, needs to love their family. Though I can admit that Umineko went back on it a bit in the manga, in the VN, Ange can choose whether she wants to view her family with love or not. In the Trick ending, Ange does commit murder, but she is still alive and going onwards. Of course, all magic disappears, so we cannot see the boat scene, or Lambdabern, or Tohya, but Ange, who has chosen not to see her family with love, is still alive and out there in some unwritten, unknown story, on her boat, going onwards.

And, Ange choosing to view her family with love does not mean that she is denying or apologizing for abuse, or choosing to remain part of the family. She leaves it behind and becomes Kotobuki Yukari.

Even though Ange's family is dead, Ange still struggled with the memory of her family. Family can deeply define who you are, especially when trauma is involved. Ange was also actively abused by Eva for 12 years - and she did try to leave. Eva stopped her and punished her. It is only when Ange resolves her trauma, either by accepting that her family was a bunch of abusive fucked-up people, or by choosing to remember that her family was abusive but also loving, that Ange can truly leave her family behind.

Ange forgiving Eva in Alliance and taking the blame onto herself for her abuse is her struggling with what happened to her. I've seen this a lot, actually - people who switch between despising their abusers or seeing them as inhuman monsters, and blaming themselves completely for something their abusers did to them. Umineko is always from some subjective POV - Dlanor even brings this up at one point, I believe in Our Confession, that Umineko is not told from the eyes of God - so we can really get into the warped mindsets people have due to their trauma. And, yes, taking on this mindset does allow Ange to forgive Eva and her family, and to become a witch, but in the end Ange does not love herself, instead seeing herself as disposable for some better Ange to exist in another timeline, and commits suicide to save Battler because of this. I... don't think the story is endorsing self-blame as a coping mechanism.

People who have been abused often take a long time for them to heal from their trauma and to truly be free of their abusers. It's just a bit more obvious for Ange given the magical/metaphorical nature of Umineko.

c. Sayo regretting the murders and Umineko not endorsing parricide are completely in line with everything. Ryukishi07 consistently talks about murder and how it can be incredibly traumatizing for the murderer as well as their community. In both Higurashi and Umineko, he stresses that you should rely on others (community, friends, family) and seek help rather than going to the most extreme option.

Sayo regrets the murders, but this is not because of family ties, but because murder is terrible and traumatizing. They realize how harmful and awful murder is, how much trauma it will cause the cousins/Ange, that people she cares about (the cousins) will die, etc.

If we say, "what if Sayo had only killed the corrupt adults?" we still have to contend with how murder would traumatize Sayo, and how it would also traumatize every survivor. In Higurashi, Ryukishi toys with the idea of parricide with Teppei. His conclusion is that murder is so traumatizing, so community-shattering, that there must be a better way. He shows how impossibly difficult it is for the group to get government assistance to protect Satoko, but how, by rallying their community together, and by convincing their friend to speak out against her family and seek help, they are able to get her to safety.

And, yes, maybe Maria shouldn't mourn her abusive mother's death. Maybe Jessica should be happy her parents, who kept her from doing things she loved, are gone. However, though their family was abusive, they also performed many acts of love. It's difficult to untangle love and abuse - Umineko is about that.

d. Let me know if you find receipts for Japanese people discussing this. And, since Japanese people aren't a monolith, if you would be able to find a variety of opinions, that would help a lot.

my friend convinced me to watch the ultimatum: queer love and now I can’t stop imagining a bkdk au. where izuku shows up with todoroki who gave an ultimatum because he proposed months ago and has patiently been waiting for izuku to decide so he can Cherish him. katsuki of course is there with kirishima who also thinks its time for them to get married, he like, wants kids and all that shit with his main man, which katsuki also technically wants but isn’t sure he deserves kirishima.

but now low and behold bkdk both show up to this weird ass reality thing and see each other after like ten years (which the producers totally knew and of course wanted to start drama).

and izuku’s just Shook(tm) and katsuki’s just high key stressed that fucking deku is here. kirishima was amused until he realizes this is the so-called nerd that was bakugo’s gay awakening tween childhood friend/victim and then he stays amused while also trying to be supportive like “maybe apologizing is what you need to make peace with yourself and feel ready for marriage”

and then after their ‘break-ups’ they end up on dates. obviously bakugo’s dates are with icy hot (who is perfectly pleasant but bakugo decides he hates him anyway) and deku. and with deku it starts off awkward and then turns into arguing w ust and then their last date together melts into a heavy apology where bakugo’s explaining “I realized I’d rather be reading all might comics with you than talking about girls or to girls and it was harder to accept than I realized” and “we knew each other for so long I figured you already knew and I was paranoid you were going to say something or do something and that you were looking down on me, pitying me because of it”

to which of course izuku’s like “no I was just kind of oblivious to my own feelings I’m sorry you felt that” and “I forgave you a long time ago but honestly not sure I ever felt there was something to forgive cause I could tell you were going through something”

and suddenly they both feels so much lighter but at the same time its HEAVY between them like What Could Have Been and there’s Something There

but the date wraps up and before ya know its its the time to choose who they are going to “marry” for a week.

Bakugo chooses Deku.

and he reasons fuck, no one knows him like this nerd even if it’s been a decade since they talked. if anyone is going to help him figure his shit out its going to be this man.

Izuku of course accepts. absolutely reverential about being chosen. after all he and todoroki talked it out and both agreed they were going to fully commit to this, so its totally okay he’s 100% invested in being kaachan’s husband for a week.

cut to bkdk having an absolutely xander/yoli of a lovefest week x1000. just meshing perfectly together, and after their first kiss all bets are off and they absolutely sleep together (bakugo definitely gets off on being better in bed than todoroki) (who is absolutely adequate izuku just has a higher libido and more kinks ok) (this definitely came up on their date together much to izuku’s mortification of saying so on camera and bakugo has been thinking about it since) and bakugo is like…all in. he loves kirishima but they’ve been growing apart and he’s all in with deku like fuck. meanwhile deka is also head over heels but having the occasional existential crisis about todoroki. who is perfect and deserves all the love.

and so bkdk end up married and grossly in love; todoroki decides nothing will piss off his dad more than getting engaged to a guy he hasn’t known for more than a week and ends up engaged inasa; kirishima either gets with kaminari or back with mina idk

short answer: Yrliet got a second chance while Marazhai didn't; Argenta picked the absolutely perfect time for her confession.'

3rd chapter is a major point for Isabella when she steps from 'I can't do anything, I have to rely on my people' to 'I can do everything, my people rely on me' (and also from "I play a Rogue Trader' to "I am a Rogue Trader" but for now we focus on people)

so, in Commorragh Isabella had one task, and only one: she came there with 5 people of her and she had to find them, save them and take them out of this shitty place. All of them.

'All of them, aeldari included, Heinrix', and 'All of them, you'll deal with Argenta later, Abelard.' This was not for discussion.

I'm not saying that Isabella was either smart or sane during this period, but she was absolutely unstoppable and laser-focused on her main goa, and if she would let anyone argue with her or plant doubts in her mind, she would probably break, so she barked on anyone who tried to start a civil war inside her little party and was about to throw boots in them (but her boots were stolen)

Marazhai had no chance, honestly, it even didn't come to Isabella's mind that he could become her ally (I knew he was recruitable, but it made no sense for her), and also: she came with 5 of her people, not 6 or 7 (Ulfar stayed in the cage, too)

During the escape, Yrliet showed that she deserves forgiveness (Isabella accepted her sacrifice to haemuncul, and basically the last battle was won by Yrliet and Heinrix fighting back to back), so when they jumped on her on the ship Isabella stood up for her, made her apologize and closed this question forever or until Yrliet fucks up again. She didn't fuck up and spent many years alongside Iza.

Argenta… Isabella's approach to her changes from 'she is the chosen of the God Emperor, she is his wraith and his grace, she does what is right' in the beginning to 'I wish she had a choice to decide for herself." Isabella even didn't feel like she had to forgive her, because truly, Argenta did what she thought is an only option. Although nobody escapes Isabella's mercy, so she started to talk to her about making decisions, free will, and all the other crap she was already filling poor Heinrix's head with xD

I don't have canon Argenta's ending yet (I got both 'repentia' and 'new order' endings, I only know that after Heinrix becomes LI, he requisitions her to his service)

The worldbuilding is kind of wonky BUT basically there are several different kingdoms based on the qsmp language difference who have allied together in the face of Ganon’s impending Calamity (which is the code for now) and also the Antarctic Empire, which has been somewhat iffy on the alliance for reasons explained later. They’re all blessed by different gods. Everybody is living long time. Unless.

The Antarctic empire has been iffy on the alliance because everybody’s sending their kids into Ganon/The Code’s sight and like. Nobody WANTS to do that but destiny is a little bitch and they can’t quite fight with it considering everything will go to hell if they lose. But Philza is not the happiest camper about it which is kind of a problem since the Antarctic Empire HAS the Master Sword!!

Enter Chayanne as Link in this role, Prince of the Antarctic Empire who is also, because destiny loves being funny, The Chosen Hero. He overhears the conflict and is like huh. Hm. That’s. A lot of stuff happening. But then he hears the world is going to end and listen, he knows if Phil finds out he’s the hero he is NOT getting sent out but also like. Everybody is in danger. The entire world. His family, which is his world. His sister.

He’s like you know what it is better to ask for forgiveness than permission <3 and runs away from the empire with the Master Sword towards the allied kingdoms before the world actually starts ending. The whole time he’s like it’s going to be so ok. We stop Ganon/The Code and I can come back and apologize to my dad ^^!!! (foreshadowing wooooo)

Juanaflippa, Tilín, Bobby, and Trump are the four chosen champions for the divine beasts because. um. well you know how this story ends </3

After Chayanne gets massively humbled by Ganon and then wakes up 100 years later he’s lost all of his memory. The more recent the memories are, the easier it is to regain them. Yeah I’m saying he forgot The Antarctic Empire and Philza and he’s only just getting vague whispers by the time tears of the kingdom rolls around. S. Sorry. Which is also coincidentally when Philza decides it’s time to have a normal civil discussion with everybody else about where his kid is haha

More random information I couldn’t fit into the vague summary given:

- The Antarctic Empire consists of Philza, Technoblade, Wilbur, Tallulah, and Chayanne

- Missa is here!! He helps Chayanne adjust after reaching the rest of the kingdoms and becomes a father figure to him in Phil’s absence. He even gives him a matching skull mask that’s enchanted to change his eye + hair color to hide better in public. This also has the bonus of making him look exactly like his kid lol

- Pomme, despite being the Zelda role, can beat Chayanne’s ass in a fight.

- Pomme and Chayanne walk around carrying the guilt of a thousand suns on their backs from all the shit that has been happening and I could talk about them for ages but I would need another post just know they make me physically ill

- Pomme is the protagonist in totk instead of Chayanne
