I’m having a bit of a serotonin neurological episode* now. I can see how I could do the raw emotional body image sharing in such a state. It feels like I could be Eve before the snake if I had Britney’s body & courage after her last many years stuck on meds for a mood disorder **I’m still on my prescription meds though & I need to lose 50 more pounds to maybe fit in this dress. This is mine “When someone else doubts your ability to do something, it is not a reflection of your limitations but a reflection of theirs.” My University councillor said this to me one day and it always stuck with me. I find I can apply it to so many situations. Not just when people doubt my abilities but also just when people don’t share my perspective. My PSA for the day. Have you thought about therapy? Depressed, anxious, easily angered, stressed, confused, lonely, not sure if your decisions are normal/ right, or just want to talk to someone who listens? (Everyone should say yes at this point, therapy is for everyone!) Here's how I got started!
I HATE phone calls. Like full on anxiety if I'm not at work. So being depressed and having to call someone? Uhhh no thanks.

So I used this site. (You can search your location at the top. ) it's kinda like a dating site for therapy. You can scroll through, read about the therapist, what their specialty is, what they are certified in, what insurance they accept, and see if it's right for you. LGBTQ issues? Religious abuse? Sexual abuse? Trauma? Want religious based counseling? Family counseling? Etc.
Then the best part is, you can call ( if you're weird.) Or you can email them. Then sit and wait for them to email you back. Less stress, no phone call, and you get to decide.
Remember, your therapist works for you. They should be someone you feel comfortable with. Don't feel bad to shop around until it's the right match.
Therapy is good. It's normal. It's healthy. And most likely your therapist goes to therapy too. 🙂 Therapy is for everyone. And best of all, they won't judge you for being the true you. <3
