#The spices of the sea (Sanji)

Hey! Since your requests are open, may I request opla!Zoro x reader (established relationship) where the reader has a lot of self doubt (not only in their looks, but their abilities and their place in the crew) since it’s, unfortunately, been shoved done their throat by pretty much eveyone they knew, even their parents, that they would never be good enough? Maybe Zoro figures out that they have sort of been spiralling lately and they have a talk about the readers past and the problems they’re facing and he comforts them? Maybe it ends sort of spicy or turns out full on spicy, if you’re comfortable with that!

author’s note: thank you so much for the very lovely request! i hope i did your prompt justice; i ended up not writing any spice at the end (just slightly suggestive) since i didn't think it fit the story but i hope you like it anyway ^^
it feels slightly ooc, but i also wrote it in the span of two hours at 1:00 am so can you really blame me.
It was morning on the Going Merry, and you were cleaning up the wreckage that had been scattered along the deck in your last battle. The crew had gone up against some other pirates; it’d been late at night, and the attack had come suddenly, what you’d thought would be a peaceful docking turning combative quickly.
You barely remembered the fight. One moment, the warning bell had sounded, and the next Zoro was rolling out of bed beside you, grabbing his swords and darting out of your bedroom before you could even register what was happening. The fight had gone in the Straw Hats’ favor, thankfully; Zoro, Luffy, and Sanji had fended off most of the threat, and you were back on the open sea, safe from enemies for at least a little while now.
You let out a sigh as you swept shattered glass into a dustpan, shaking out the collected trash into a nearby empty barrel. None of the men usually bothered to start cleaning up—typical—so you’d pulled yourself out of bed as early as possible to get the ship looking a little more like normal.
Zoro had left some corpses on the deck for you to deal with, and you’d had to toss them overboard, a grimace tugging at your lips as blood stained the white of your blouse. No matter. You’d finished sweeping, at least; all you had left to do was mop, right as everyone else was waking up.
You filled a bucket with warm water and soap, and were just grabbing the mop from the closet when you heard footsteps. You glanced up, surprised to see Zoro heading towards you, one hand grasped loosely around his sword handle as always. “You’re up early,” he said, casual as ever. “Woke up and you were gone.”
“Figured I should get a head start on cleaning,” you answered quickly, not meeting Zoro’s eyes as you dunked the mop into the bucket. His brows creased as he watched you start mopping, pushing the handle along the deck to wipe it clear of bloodstains.
“How long have you been doing this?” Zoro asked, after a few seconds of delayed silence. You shrugged, dunking your mop again before going for another few swipes. “We can help clean too, you know.”
“It’s the least I can do,” you protested. You moved past him, trying very hard not to meet his eyes—but Zoro didn’t let you pass, one hand going out to grab the mop rod and stopping you in your tracks. “What?”
“What do you mean, least you could do?” Zoro asked blankly.
“I mean—” you shrugged, muscles limp like your entire body was sagging you down. “You and the others were the ones to deal with the pirates, so I figured I could at least—”
Zoro still looked confused, brows pulled together, forehead taut with a frown. “I distinctly recall you throwing a pirate twice your size overboard. Unless I was imagining things.”
You sighed. “Not what I meant.” You tried to push past Zoro again, but he didn’t let you, hand still tightly grasped around your mop handle.
“Okay, what did you mean, then?”
“Nothing. Will you just let me finish cleaning so there aren't blood stains all over Luffy’s ship?” You sighed again, even as you attempted to keep the sound inside—but you couldn’t help it. It was like there was an anchor stuck inside of you, pulling everything from your feelings to your body down, the weight of gravity tugging at your features.
“Luffy’s ship?”
You shrugged. “The Straw Hats’ ship. Whatever.”
“Our ship,” Zoro said. There was a certain twinge of something in his words; still blankness, but laced with a dawning realization that you weren’t sure you liked. “You’re upset.”
“Nope.” This time you really did manage to get free of Zoro’s grasp, yanking your mop out of his grip and starting back on cleaning the deck. The acrid smell of iron hit your nose as you scrubbed the dried blood off—you’d have to go back in later with a sponge to get all the cracks and crevices, but for now this would be okay.
Zoro followed you, unceasing with his interrogation. “Yes, you are. I know when you’re upset, and you’re upset. What happened.” It was more of a statement than a question—Zoro didn’t often doubt himself, really, which was one of the many things that’d helped make you stumble into falling for him. “Was it about last night? You know the cook's just making fun when he keeps a counter, right? It doesn’t matter if he brought two or five more men down than you.”
“It’s not about that,” you insisted.
“So you admit you are upset.”
You groaned, finally turning to look Zoro in the eye. He’d stopped walking, the dawning sun glinting hazey gold onto his skin in the early hour. There was still an overcast of blue from the night in the sky, and it made the heavens look ethereal, watery and glittering.
“Come on,” he urged. “Just tell me what’s wrong.”
“It’s really nothing you need to be concerned about,” you attempted, but your voice was weak now. Zoro stepped closer to you, gently pulling the mop out of your hands. Your fingers let go easily. “It’s silly.”
Zoro gave you a look. “Out with it.”
“I don’t know, I just—” your fingers clenched, like your hand was trying to find something to do now that Zoro had rid you of your mop. “Comparatively I just don’t do much. So I want to help out as much as possible.”
“Who said you don’t do much?”
“What?”
“I don’t think I need to repeat myself,” Zoro said. He let the mop fall to the ground, arms crossing over his chest as he watched you. “Who said you don’t do much?”
“I mean, nobody. It’s just true.” You shrugged, distinctly uncomfortable with the way Zoro was looking at you—all attentive, like he was trying to strip you raw with his eyes, uncover whatever secrets might be hiding in the pores of your skin and the gaps of your teeth. “Luffy’s the captain, we wouldn’t be able to do anything without Nami, you and Sanji are the fighters, and Usopp’s everyone’s favorite. I’m just kind of… filler?”
The more you spoke, the worse your words got, your tone turning more desperate as the sentences fumbled out of your mouth. Zoro’s eyebrows raised higher as you went on, and you flushed, red prickling all over your skin.
“First of all,” he started, “Usopp is not my favorite. That’d be you. And—where are you getting this from?”
You shook your head, trying to backtrack. “Nothing. Nowhere. It’s not that import—”
“Yes, it is, and we’re talking about it.” Zoro pulled a nearby barrel by the side of the ship, plopping himself down atop it and gesturing for you to sit. You didn’t, but you did move over to the railing, hands curling around the painted wood. “Speak.”
“I have nothing to say,” you tried. Zoro just shot you an unimpressed look, and you squirmed. “Fine. I don’t know. I joined last, so I just figured… you were all kind of already set without me, right?”
Zoro shook his head. “We’re a crew,” he said, voice strong but somehow still gentle. “You’re part of us for a reason. What, this entire time did you think you were—expendable?”
You fidgeted uncomfortably, weight shifting from one leg to the other. “No.”
“Don’t lie.”
“Yes. No. I don’t know. Last night—I only got, like what, two guys? And you reacted way faster to the situation than I did,” you started, words flailing around on your tongue as they rushed out. It was indelicate, for certain, and you yourself couldn’t make sense of most of the words—but once you started, you couldn’t stop, even as they slurred together. “I was still getting out of bed and grabbing my weapon when you’d already dealt with half the enemy crew.”
“Don’t compare yourself to me,” Zoro said with a shake of his head. “That’s not fair. I’ve been training since I was eight. It’s different.”
You huffed out an exasperated breath, trying not to let your frustration get the best of you. “I can't help it sometimes. It’s a bad habit.” You loosened your grip on the ship railing, staring out at the golden clouds hovering over the sky. “Sorry.”
“Don’t apologize,” Zoro answered. He didn’t say anything after that—giving you a space to talk, you supposed, in case you wanted to. But his hand did reach up to press against yours, pinky brushing against your finger as he held onto the railing beside you.
“I guess I just always had these standards back at the village,” you managed out eventually. Your island had always been one of the more traditional places in the East Blue, and there were plenty rules and guidelines abound. One of the many reasons you’d left the place in favor for Luffy and the Going Merry, really. “So I just… always want to do more. It’s not that bad.”
“Right.” Zoro’s pinky looped around your finger, now, holding it close in a soft kiss of the hands. You sighed.
“My parents were kind of rough on me, I guess,” you tried, sneaking a glance over at Zoro’s face to see if it satiated his curiosity at all. His expression remained as steel as ever, so you just continued. “They wanted me to be the best I could. But their standards were too high, even when I was little.” You found yourself rubbing circles into the back of Zoro’s hand with your finger, more so to comfort yourself than for any other reason. “Just normal stuff, like being upset about my school grades or my combat training levels being too low. Nothing that terrible.”
“But…?” Zoro asked, tilting his head up to look at you. You smiled, but the action didn’t reach your eyes—it was all mouth and jaw, cheeks lifting but eyes glinting with the same glazed stare.
“It just affected me a lot, I suppose,” you answered. “Always trying to get better. Never satisfied. And I guess now—I don’t know. I don’t think I’ll ever be good enough.”
“For?” Zoro asked. His voice was low, soft, all hollow and empty inside. There was a tinge of roughness lacing it, like he’d forgotten to clear his throat, and the scratch of his vocal chords had surfaced up along with the words.
“Myself. My parents. Luffy. You.” Your lips tightened into a line. Vaguely, you could feel the warm pinpricks of tears starting at your waterline, and you tried to will them back, letting out a little laugh. “Everyone, I guess.”
Zoro’s hand had come to hold yours fully, fingers woven in between yours, thumb pressed firmly against the joint of your thumb. Somehow, that one motion managed to force the last of the words out of you—all wet and soft, eyes glued fiercely to the horizon in fear of seeing what was etched on Zoro’s face.
“We do arranged marriages back at home,” you started, trying very hard to keep your voice from trembling. it worked only marginally—there was a tiny quaver in your tone, but it was soft, not noticeable unless you were really listening hard. “And my mom used to tell me I’d die alone. Because I wasn’t pretty enough, or smart enough, or anything enough for any of the boys there.”
“Oh,” Zoro said. It was quiet; barely a whisper. You tried for a wry smile.
“I like helping, though. I don’t mind cleaning up or whatever. It makes me feel more useful.” You tried to tug your hand out of Zoro’s grip, but his fingers tightened, keeping you in place. A nervous laugh escaped your throat. “And I know I’m part of the crew and all of this is just silly. So it’s really fine—”
Zoro tugged your intertwined hands to his chest, causing you to stumble and glance down at him in surprise. His expression was nearly unreadable. It’d darkened, and there was a contemplative gaze in his eyes, lips parted with invisible words perched on his tongue. “Don’t do that,” he whispered, and your stomach dropped, the nervousness that had gathered inside during the conversation tightening up into a hall. “Don’t say it’s okay or that it’s not important. If it’s making you upset, then it matters.”
“I guess,” you tried, and Zoro’s gaze lifted to fix you with a glare. “Sorry.”
“It’s okay, I just…” Zoro shook his head. “Look, whatever your parents used to tell you, whatever you have ingrained in your head—it’s not true. And there’s nothing wrong with wanting to do more, but… you don’t have to do it. You’re enough already.”
Your gaze softened, lips falling open to say something, but Zoro wasn’t finished yet. “You shouldn’t come out here and force yourself to clean up just to make up for your—waste of space, or something. You’re not a servant. And you’re not wasting up any space. I think everyone would agree that you’re a very important and vital part of the crew.”
“Thanks,” you whispered. Zoro’s hand was warm around yours, and you felt the threatening droplets of tears start to rise up at your waterline, ready to fall at any moment now. Zoro just nodded.
“You’re a great fighter, and way smarter than what you give yourself credit for,” he said firmly. He raised your hand to his mouth, then, leaning over to press a feather-light kiss to your knuckles. “And the boys on your island have to be blind, because you’re pretty enough. You’re more than pretty enough.”
He whispered the last words, all soft and sacred on his tongue. “You’re beautiful.”
That was enough to drive your tears over the edge. You squeezed your eyes shut, trying to stop the flow as the warm sensation of liquid streaking down your cheeks began. Droplets caught in the crevice of your lips, and at the hinge of your jaw—Zoro brought a hand up to wipe them away. “Are you okay?” he whispered.
“Yeah, I just, um.” You shook your head, sniffing. “Thank you. That… helped. I think.”
Zoro bummed out his response. “Of course,” he said easily. “You’re my girl. It’s my job to cheer you up.” He kissed your knuckles again. “And you can talk to any of us. I’m not really the best at this, but everyone else…” he shrugged.
“You’re doing just fine,” you assured him. Zoro nodded, tugging you down until you finally took a seat on a crate beside him. “I think it’s just been worse lately.”
“If it makes you feel any better, I think you’re better than the waiter,” Zoro said. You just laughed.
“I think you’re biased, but thank you,” you said. “Here, I, um, I promise I’ll let you know if I’m feeling down, I guess. If you don’t mind.”
“Definitely don’t mind,” Zoro answered. This time he placed a gentle kiss on your neck, somewhere at the bottom near the back. “Leave the mopping for someone else. You’ve already done a lot.”
“Okay,” you whispered, eyes fluttering closed as Zoro kissed the rest of the way up the back of your neck. He placed a final one right below your earlobe. With that, Zoro stood up, sweeping one arm under your legs and hoisting you up. You cracked open an eye to regard him with a blank look. “What are you doing?”
“Bringing you back to my room,” Zoro answered. “You didn’t get much sleep tonight. And I doubt anyone wants to watch me kissing you on the main deck anyway.”
That was fair enough reasoning, so you didn’t complain, letting him carry you all the way to his cabin and gently lay you down onto his bed. He leaned over to press a gentle kiss to your lips—you could still taste the saltwater from your tears from before. “Want me to stay?” Zoro asked.
“You don’t have to,” you said automatically, and Zoro raised both his eyebrows. You let out a sigh. “Okay, I get it. Yes. Please stay.”
“All you had to say,” Zoro said, shedding himself of his shoes and swords before leaning over the bed to watch you. He didn’t slip under the covers or anything, just propped an arm up on the mattress, kneeling beside the bed. There was tender silence for a few moments before Zoro spoke again.
“I love you,” he said abruptly, voice rough but somehow still soft. Your heart beat too fast in your chest, ribcage squeezing in on the organ and making it skip. His hand slid along the mattress to find yours, and you took the offer, fingers clasping around his palm.
“I love you too,” you whispered back. Zoe leaned over, then, the hand not intertwined with yours tilting your jaw over just so to allow him better access to your mouth. He kissed you full-on, tender but firm, mouth working against yours in a way that unraveled you entirely. Your grip on his hand tightened as he deepened the kiss, a soft sound emitting from low in your throat. Finally you broke apart, heaving for breath, exhales mixing together midair. An exchange of souls, you’d heard once, somewhere.
“Come on,” you murmured, tugging Zoro closer to the bed so he got the hint. He slipped beside you onto it, turning your head again to meet you in another kiss. His hand drifted down to your waist, holding you securely in place.
“I don’t think anyone should need us for a few more hours, right?” Zoro asked, and you laughed. He swallowed up the sounds with his mouth, tongue licking languidly into you as he rubbed delicate circles into the skin of your waist. “You’re beautiful,” he whispered, and then he was kissing you again.
You let him siphon the soul out of your lungs, knowing you were getting his right back.

LOVER — RORONOA ZORO
roronoa zoro + i take this magnetic force of a man to be my lover content: gn! reader
request a character and prompt for my spotify wrapped event here!
dinners between pirate crews don’t usually occur since your alliances are fragile and you’re all prepared to fight at a moment’s notice. but given the collaboration between the strawhats pirates, the heart pirates, and the kid pirates, it’s safe to say that you’re all a bit more reassured that no one’s about to slice someone’s head off.
you accept another glass of wine from robin as usopp rambles on about how he took out at least thirty marines in your latest high-sea tussle. across the table, zoro snorts and gives you a dead-eyed stare that has you giggling behind your cup.
you and zoro have been dating for quite some time, having begun only a few weeks after you joined luffy’s crew. neither of you have been inclined to tell the rest of your friends in order to avoid merciless teasing as well as mitigating the damage should your relationship go south. if it does, only the two of you will know about it and stew over it — the least amount of risk, you both agreed.
franky glugs down another stein of beer, laughing jovially, “alright, alright, i’ve got an idea!”
“oh? and what’s that?” robin asks, resting a hand on her chin.
“let’s play a game. gotta spice things up!”
“hey!” usopp protests. “my stories are super spicy!”
“yeah, right,” kid snickers, “they’re also lies.”
usopp glares and is about to retort but franky beats him to the punch, saying, “truth or dare!”
“really?” deadpans law. “isn’t that for kids?”
“aww, you need to loosen up, cap!” shachi says, nudging law. “i’m down.”
franky says, “i’m sure everyone knows the rules. only thing is if you refuse to answer a truth or do a dare, you drink!”
luffy perks up. “yeah, alright! that sounds like fun! zoro! zoro! truth or dare?”
your boyfriend smirks. “dare. do your worst.”
“i dare you to eat one of your swords.”
zoro’s eyes nearly pop out of his head. “no way!”
“gotta drink then,” you say to him.
“not a problem.” zoro lifts his stein to his mouth and you watch with appreciation as his bicep flexes and bulges under the tight t-shirt he’s wearing. he easily chugs down his beer, wiping his lips with the back of his hand.
zoro dares sanji to throw out his collection of dirty magazines that he found under sanji’s bed; sanji asks nami who she would date if she could date any crew member (“ew, none of you.”); nami gets bepo to perform one of uta’s songs and bepo asks franky what’s the best kept secret he’s held from you all.
franky smirks at law and says, “alright, law, truth or dare.”
“truth.”
“if you could hook up with anyone on the deck, who would it be?”
law frowns at the question and you’re sure he’s going to drink instead but when he says your name, the ship erupts into chaos. nami and ikkaku elbow you, their grins suggestive and encouraging; sanji glares at law; shachi, penguin, and bepo gape; and kid and luffy howl with laughter. you sit there in stunned silence, your face on fire, and you can’t look at law.
you chance a peek at zoro and find that, in all the ensuing chaos, he’s nowhere to be found. you catch the door to the belly of the thousand sunny swinging closed and you immediately stand, heading downstairs. you ignore everyone’s questioning shouts in favor of searching for your boyfriend.
“zoro?” you call. “zoro!”
you wander the halls for a few minutes, checking the kitchen, the men’s quarter, the gym. you find him quickly, though, inside the energy room. he’s sitting on a crate, expression sour, and you plop down next to him. “you okay?” you ask.
“i’m fine.”
you study him — his profile, the slope of his nose and the sharpness of his jaw, the way the low light of the room makes his tan skin look golden. you sit quietly with him for a few moments, listening to the engine of the ship run. zoro holds himself rigidly, unnervingly still, but you can feel the irritation rolling off of him, can still see the tension in his body.
you reach over, brushing your hand against his brow to smooth out the furrow. he looks over at you, still scowling but a little less intensely now. you say, “i’m guessing what law said bothered you.”
he shrugs. you sigh, “it’s just a game, zoro. i’m sure he didn’t even mean it, probably said the first name he thought of.”
zoro grunts derisively, “he definitely meant it. look at you.”
you can’t help the pleased feeling the rushes through you but you don’t let it show as you let your hand fall to his shoulder. “it’s just a game. doesn’t mean anything.”
“yeah,” zoro says. there’s a beat and then he says, “i hate hidin’ this.”
“really?” you can’t hide your surprise. zoro’s the one who initially brought up keeping this from everyone.
“i’m sick of it,” he says. “sick of the fuckin’ love cook always saying shit to you. i hate when guys flirt with you and i can’t fuckin’ do anything because the rest of the damn crew is there and luffy’s makin’ me watch his scarf down twenty plates of roast beef.”
you snicker at the memory, which pulls a small smile at of zoro. you rest your head against his shoulder and he mutters, “hate that the fuckin’ doctor said you.”
“we could tell them, you know. i think it’s okay now.”
“yeah?”
“yeah,” you say. “i’m, like, super in love with you so you’re stuck with me.”
zoro snorts, “yeah, yeah. love you too.”
“are you ready to endure all the teasing from franky, robin, and nami?”
“for you, yeah.”
you tilt your head up and kiss his jaw. zoro grins, leaning down to catch your mouth with his.
When you break apart, you ask him, “I would’ve placed money on you going to the gym. Why’d you come here?”
“Oh. I got lost.”
“You two okay?” asks robin as you and zoro resurface. the game seems to have finished and everyone’s back to drinking and chatting, though they all turn to you when they hear robin.
“yeah, we’re good,” you tell her. “we actually have something to tell you.”
“what is it?” nami asks.
“we’re together,” zoro says. “have been for a while.” and then, unexpectedly, zoro’s arm wraps around your hip and pulls you close.
the ship erupts into the chaos again with you and zoro in the middle. somewhere among all the yelling and gasping, law taps your shoulder and apologizes, which you wave off with an easy smile and zoro gives a firm nod.
nami shakes her head. “i can’t believe you two kept this from us!” and then, she turns to you. “zoro? really? you could do so much better.”
you wind yours arms around zoro’s waist, crushing him in a sideways hug. “nope, i don’t think so. he’s all mine!”
nami gags and robin smiles calmly. “i’ve always known.”

Ok now I need the strawhats meeting with laws Mexican s/o plz🙏🙏🙇♀️
your mind anon!!! absolutely
Law + mexican s/o meeting the strawhats
Masterlist
Pt.1
You finally had the opportunity to properly meet the strawhats until after the events in Wano, during a huge celebration for their victory
At the beginning of the alliance Law had asked you to keep your relationship a secret as to not put you in danger or give information that could hurt him away to other pirates
Eventually you broke and made it a little obvious that both of you were together and honestly he didn’t mind it that much anymore, of course Luffy wasn’t gonna be able to shut his mouth about it but after all, he had warmed up to the strawhats even if he wouldn’t admit it
Honestly they’re just surprised anyone would date Law, they know him as this brooding grumpy methodic of a Captain
They are asking a million questions about you and how did you guys got together making a fuss out of it
“How did you and Traffy met?”- you arch an eyebrow “Traffy?”
You are not letting the new nickname die and Law is absolutely livid, every time it leaves your lips he rolls his eyes to the back of his head
The first one to ask about your history was Robin after she picked up on your accent and antics. She was so amazed by you and wanted to know everything about where you came from
Suddenly everyone wants to learn spanish
“How do you say my name?” -“How do you say this in spanish?” -“Can you teach me some curses?”
Zoro and Sanji individually ask you for phrases to say that the other wouldn’t understand and piss each other off; you tell them the same ones and screw their little plan
When Sanji hears Law talk about your amazing cooking he is asking you for a million recipes, spices and just overall tips and techniques, notebook in hand
“Keep your hands to yourself you stupid cook” he grumbles as he sees Sanji swoon all over you
I hc Luffy as mexican (thank you Iñaky) so I see you and him bonding on that, having full conversations in spanish that Law can’t keep up with so he’s pouting in a corner not understand a thing
Nobody knew Luffy was mexican and they’re so taken aback “Nobody asked me” he says laughing
You talk about stuff you grew up with and things you miss having around now that you live on the sea
You end up being Luffy’s favorite heart pirate out of this alone and he makes you feel like home which is something both of you appreciate
No one is leaving the party until you make tamales for everyone
“Sanji you better learn to make some tamales” Luffy exclaims with his mouth full
You tell Usopp there are tamales made out of deer meat and he uses that information to scare Chopper
He’s traumatized
Nami asks you about your outfit and you tell her about the history of it and how it’s made and she even offers you some berry if you get her a set (which shocks everyone, Nami paying for stuff? Crazy)
Brook is 100% learning how to play some of your favorite songs, everyone is out of their seat vibing to some cumbias and Luffy eating that shit up
Everyone is all over you and Law is not having it, this should be quality time for both of you; he doesn’t want to share you, but seeing you having so much fun smiling and laughing with everyone while you sit by his side the whole night makes his heart full, he’d get you for himself later

Sweets Full Of Lies
Sanji x F!Reader
``I think you stole something from me.``
``I stole something?``
This doesn't need a warning, this happens after the drum island and It's just tooth-rotting fluff for me and me only, be grateful I'm sharing my Pookie with all of you😤
The sky is captivating, gleaming, and full of wonder as it overlooks the reflective sea below, each star lit with passion is moving along the calm waves that are dragging behind The Going Marry, gently slanting the ship to its tastes.
The watch tonight is beautiful as the cure for the country's heart dims on the horizon, scattering pink cherry blossoms across the dark and endless ocean, each piece lightens the midnight, giving hue to a brand-new kingdom.
The scenery is getting further yet, the cherry blossoms follow after the ship, leaving no space for a threat too small.
The chilly atmosphere grows distant as the island strays and the crow's nest feels ever desolate in this bitter aftermath. If it wasn't for the subtle footsteps making their way up to your location in this stillness, you would have slacked off.
A nice scent of roasted baby potatoes entices your nose as a pleased sigh leaves you, slacking off indeed.
Crows nest is not made for two people, yet, with intense and swift maneuvers he lets the plates holding the delicious food dangle on his palms, your pupils follow them, until he brings the right one near your face. You spare him and grab the food, digging in with vigor, among the bites you let out a satisfied hum.
``This is delicious Sanji!`` Delicious as always, one can taste the love and passion through the spices and the warmth of the meal.
His voice volume dismisses the late hour of the night.
``Really?! Thank you (Y/N)-chwan~♡`` Sanji sure appreciates compliments from a lady, maybe a little too much. Though you don't mind his swooning, it's certainly fun to see him become overly affectionate and energetic, a considerable change compared to his interactions with the male members of the crew.
``Thank you too, Sanji.``
After you, Sanji turns to his plate, staring into the view that brought the night chill. He doesn't waste any time as he bites into the hot meal. The silence is welcome among the stars, shining bright from the dark horizon. The obscurity brings peace, the comfort of knowing little and needing no more.
The time is but an illusion as the meal on both plates shrinks until it's consumed with no remains left. Calm is not addressed between you two, finding peace in each other's presence in enough, no words are needed.
Binoculars rest on the floor, unused, but no amount of enlargement of distant images could find the reasonable explanation for the bravery brewing as you stare at the side profile of a blond. The soft features and the clean skin mix well with the pink undertones. You know he is handsome.
You're sure most would agree to that statement. Perhaps that's the thought that picks the simple, sweet, and corny line out of your teeth. It pierces the silent atmosphere.
``Sanji.`` You watch as he turns. The dim blue eye answering your curiosity. At first glance, the cook appears yellow or black, depending on the individual. However, you'd say his soul is the color of roses, with shades of light and hot pink mixing with his pale outer layer. Yet, you can hear a green-haired man argue that his inner soul is but a burning red and orange at the back of your mind. The color of blood on the tip of a silver knife he handles with ease.
You find yourself seeing all three views. Sanji is all of them. You don't seem to mind.
You watch that eye blink twice before opening your mouth.
``... I think you stole something from me.`` You find yourself craving that shade of blush that only appears on his face whenever a compliment is given to him by a woman. You want to see the pink blush appear on that ear once more tonight, it would be such a beautiful sight next to the falling cherry blossom petals.
You watch as Sanji takes in what you said. His baby blue lights up with curiosity and focus. He thinks about what he could have stolen as he goes through the memories of today, only to come up blank.
``I stole something...?`` The confusion settles as a smile appears on your face. The man appears oblivious to your deep emotion. The wicked hidden-entertainment. He can not distinguish the extra twist added to your lips.
``I think you stole my heart, Mr. Cook.`` There's a moment of silence that's quite loud, it stretches for a while as you stare at Sanji's widened eyes, you would have compared them to dinner plates if it weren't for the fallen cigarette, that you stomped and made sure to put out. (Can't forget to pick it up later!)
His reaction is not something you've expected. The frozen state as he gazes at you is new. The blank eyes speak of such a shock that you are not sure it could be considered as an emotion, rather a process of doubting oneself, the reality, and the life itself. You're thankful it doesn't last because soon the man you are familiar with, returns.
Sanii who closes his mouth and lets the pink petals land on his head, shining and adorning him with pink light. The blush that arises on his cheeks is shy, the pupil holding a small heart as love colors the iris. Eye round and sunken, Sanji seems small, his body unmoving as he gazes at you. Tongue dripping with romance.
``...I did...?`` You didn't know that a voice could be described as small. It's almost enough to shock you into silence.
Lightly, you bite your lip. You should know better by now.
Your mouth moved. It spoke in a tone you are unfamiliar with, almost like in a trance, addicted to a man much like candy, so sweet and sugar-coated. Your face must be red too, but it can't compare to the flustered Sanji standing in front of you, lighting up in shades more intense.
Cute.
Hopeful, he felt hopeful. The smell of fright coming off of him, is thin.
Shit. You might just devour him tonight.

Romantic walks or Sky Walks
There were moments you could say. The instances where the crew would stop on islands and as if that was a sign, you both would ditch the gang and tour around the place by yourself. But you did make sure that they called for help if anything urgent.
“They are strong Y/N, you don’t have to worry about them”, Sanji assured squeezing your hand. You both would together get to know about the place. The culture, the history and most importantly the cuisine. Sanji could easily tell the ingredients of the food just by the smell. The spices which were included. He wasn’t a five-star chef for nothing. He paid extra attention to the food that you liked. Oh Lord… how blessed you were to have this man in your life.
Previously when you weren’t a part of the crew, he would always go and help the ladies carry their shopping bags or just go in search of exotic ingredients and food alone. He was never a fan of being alone. Now that you were beside him, that made him love struck. Sanji’s glances at other women actually reduced by a fuck ton. He would literally crawl to girls to maybe have a chance with them but now that he had fallen in love, WHICH was reciprocated, he cherished. The man still appreciates women and would never change his principles.
The day was ending. The orange hues decorated the sky beautifully, But this monster strength of his was sometimes… way over board. But it wasn’t his fault entirely. His excitement makes him to sometimes forget that maybe… you can’t always keep up with his speed. You do get tired from time to time. But you bet, when he noticed that, you’d receive a heartfelt apology for dragging you around all day.
“Lemme make it up to you dear”, he said making you raise your eyebrow as you tilted your head. His warm hand separated from yours and he clipped the shopping bags and food items to his bigger bag on his bag. His actions were confusing to you but when he approached you face on, you didn’t expect him to FUCKING pick you. He literally placed his hand on your back then bent down a bit and placed his hands back of your knees. With just one swift motion, he had you in his arms princess style.
You don’t even remember the reflex you had when you had your hands around his neck. He smiled at you with still the unlit cigarette in his lips, while you had your shocked expression on his spontaneous actions in public. Your ex’s could never pick you up and you didn’t really mind that but you knew Sanji could lift you up. This was the first time he ever did that in public. He walked forward, with your gaze still fixed on him, like the other citizens looking at you two in awe. Always it’s been you making him blush but, when he does make you flustered, you can imagine the impact that gives. This man is just that good.
The orange hues turned into the dark shade of night with stars. “Its getting late, wanna go back and sleep for the night”, he asked as you nodded. He nuzzled your cheek and took a step back. His soft grip on you tightened as he jumped up. With every step he took he was flying using haki, with you in his arms. Your eyes widened as your jaw dropped. You both were up in the sky while he was running towards the sea, to where sunny was.
The stars shimmered, making his golden locks look magical. His electric blue eyes glimmered while you stared at him. You could’ve sworn that you saw a golden crown on his head, but it was your imagination. He was a prince without the crown. Who cares if he was a prince without a crown. Always wanted to be carried like a princess, gave up on that almost completely. Was there anything this man couldn’t do for you. He would make your wishes come true, even the unspoken ones. Your hand around his neck travelled up to his head making him to look at you with a smile. He wasn’t expecting, hell you didn’t plan for it. Your instincts made you to pull him towards you to place a kiss on his lips. Percaline skin turned the deepest shade of red.
It wasn’t an exaggeration to say you were blessed to have him.
Clicks! Of you.
While shopping on an island that the crew landed on, Sanji noticed a guy selling camera den den mushi and didn’t waste a second getting one for himself. Well technically it was actually for his beloved, you. The wind was blowing a bit too strongly making your hair flutter more than usual , a click. You were smiling at him, click. He would position the den den mushi on the table before you both and would lie on your lap making you chuckle. Click! Him biting your soft cheeks, Click! His hands on your Thighs, Click! Him resting his head on your shoulder by hugging you from behind, Click!
One day, you and Zoro were training on the deck he said, “Oye! Y/N, lay a hit on me and I’ll promise to do the dishes for a week”.
If that happened, you and Sanji would get more time to spend. Your smirk grew while he said that. Normally you would fight to get stronger but, now you had a reward for the task. Oh… no way you were going to lose.
“Bring it on big guy!”, you positioned yourself and started to fight him. The fight was tough. He wouldn’t budge. Damn Marimo.
Sanji’s work in kitchen was done and you were still fighting Zoro. The moment Sanji saw you, he reached for the den den mushi and Click! Marimo wasn’t used to the camera so his gaze shifted for a second. A second was all you needed. You gave the Green your toughest hit, harder than ever, and for the first time. You laid a hit on him which made him to drop to one of his knees to balance. Making Zoro to get that far, was never easy. It was very hard. But you managed it.
“YES!!!!”, you cried victory.
“THAT’S NOT FAIR STUPID Y/N!!!!”, screamed Zoro.
“DON’T CALL Y/N STUPID BAKA MARIMO!”, Sanji shouted at Zoro as he got up.
“Its your fault curly brow”
“All is fair in love and war”, Sanji spat back as he went towards you as you threw your arms around his neck. He spun you a couple times before he placed you down to kiss your cheek making the Marimo’s cheeks turn red with embarrassment.
“Eww”, Zoro said as he left the place to not witness any more PDA.
After a while of taking selfies with you, Sanji went towards the gym. The green raised his eye brow at him. He signalled by showing the box in his hands as he approached the latter.
“Great work. Seems like Y/N really did land a hit on you”, Zoro rolled his eyes as he took the box from the latter’s hands.
“Tsk… it was a one-time thing. Next time I’ll be more careful”, Zoro’s frown disappeared as soon as he saw the Onigiri in the box. He smiled as he stuffed one in his mouth.
“Anyway, thanks for taking the work of one week”, Sanji said as he left the room leaving Zoro to enjoy his onigiri in peace.
You went to the kitchen for Sanji, but found an album on the table. You flipped the pages and it was all you. All your photos of him and you together, photos of only you. Some photos made you to question on how he took them. Some made you want to pinch his cheek, because they were mostly the close up’s of your thighs. ‘Well… I’m dating Sanji after all’, you thought as a smile formed on your lips.
“You like them?”, a smooth voice made you to turn around and Click!
You giggled as he then walked towards the refrigerator. His slender fingers reached into his pocket and pulled out a selfie of both of you and placed it beside the photos of the crew members using a little lion Magnet.
“That’s actually a cute pic”, you said. He walked backwards to admire the picture on the fridge and then turned to you with a grin on his lips. He couldn’t find words as he looked at you leaning your elbows on the counter, hair still wet because of the shower recently took. The Sanji who always expresses his admiration through words… didn’t find words.
‘Your eyes tell, Sanji’
Could colours look so good
Before the crew departed from an island, you had some time to spare as Sanji wouldn’t allow you to carry heavy stuff. Treated you like a fragile piece of art, which no one ever did. You stepped back into the town and walked towards the shop that you had saw a few days before, when the crew first landed on the island.
That wasn’t a place you really went for. Now it felt like you could, you needed to, you wanted to. The shop was flamboyant and looked intimidating. But your self-esteem did know when to kick in. Still, you couldn’t seem to leave the island without this. Your man, his smile flashed before you, His eyes of adoration, His soothing touches on you, everything was all you needed. He was all you needed for your confidence to bounce up. You went into the shop and were welcomed by a sweet lady who showed you to the perfect thing you wanted.
Sanji saw you waling to the ship with a tensed look on your face as you were holding a bag in your hands. His worry took over him and he jumped from the ship and landed Infront of you. He held your empty hand with his as his other hand cupped your cheek. His eyes fixated on yours as he asked if there was something wrong.
You shook your head no and assured him everything was fine and you were getting on the ship. His eyes followed as you headed onto sunny in a hurry. He could tell something was weird by the way you just went away in such rush. A muscle ticked in his jaw as his cigarette emitted smoke. He walked into the ship and continued to prepare to set sail.
But he didn’t fail to notice the way you suddenly flinched when he touched you. He was getting more intimidated by the way you were behaving. You were not even looking at him in the eye while he was speaking. He couldn’t take that. The night at dinner, he made sure to sit beside you and caught how you were unable to even speak to him or even eat properly. Cheek’s pink, breathing heavy, fists clenched, eyes looked everywhere but at him. He had to get to know what was bothering you. Communication was the key to solving all issues, and now he needed to know what was bothering you more than anyone. Luckily you had night watch and he wasn’t letting the chance go.
Just as everyone was asleep and you were on the deck alone, he exited the kitchen and approached you. The sound of his boots didn’t go unnoticed by you as you turned to face him. You did expect to see him, as night watches for one of you, meant that you both had it by default. He didn’t speak anything. His hands in his pockets while his cigarette emitted smoke. He leaned his back on the railing of the ship, giving you some space.
“I’ll have to need you to speak. I need you to say what is bothering you”, he said making you gulp. He then noticed your form to walk into the kitchen. He didn’t know why you left him there but, he was now sure, you’ll be willing to talk. At least… maybe if you wanted to breakup, he could get it straight from you. His fears were covering his mind. He then heard the kitchen door open but he didn’t look towards you. He kept his head down as he controlled his tears. Now you were infront of him, but he was scared to look at you. What if you were really gonna breakup?
“I’ don’t know how you’ll react Sanji but… I wanted you to see this”, his gaze shifted to look at you and his cigarette dropped as his lips parted. His eyes widened as his posture stiffened. Blood rushed to his nose as he kept looking at you. There you were before him in blue sheer lace robe lingerie. He couldn’t believe his eyes when he was looking at you, with such an outfit, that you never ever shown him. Was this the reason for you to acting so tensed around him? Were you just nervous and wanted to show this to him?
Your look just answered every doubt he had. He gazes travelled all over you. He approached you and placed a hand on your cheek while the other held your shoulder. He had no words to express. Ah… how many times had it been that you made the most expressive man run out of words. His breathing increased as he looked at you. Heartbeat quickened. He placed a kiss on your lips while his hand travelled down from your shoulder to your waist. That answered on how well he liked it. Even though Sanji didn’t use his words, more like he couldn’t though. You didn’t even notice the way you now ended up on the couch in the kitchen. With him on top of you, his hands cupping all over your softness. His lips travelling down to your shoulders leaving marks which would bruise the next day. Well he would let you know how beautiful and pretty you looked in that in the morning but not now, he needed you to feel it at this moment. Oh! Yes, he wasn’t done. Oh… now he had to buy. Buy all colours. Whatever colour he could think of, he needed to buy for you. You weren’t getting anywhere anytime soon. Not like you want to leave this gem of a man anyway.

Chapter 1 Chapter 3
Robo-boning uder the cut:
Chapter 2: The Cyborg
It was a breezy evening aboard the Sunny as you sipped from your wine glass while leaning forward against the railing of the deck. Sanji had once again prepared the crew a fantastic meal and you felt full and comfortable with the cool sea wind blowing through your hair. It was late, most of the crew had returned to their quarters. Zoro was up in his crows nest dojo having a late night workout, Franky had returned to his workshop to fiddle with some new cannon technology, Luffy was in a food coma and snoring loudly laid up against the mast, and even Sanji had finished dishes with Robin’s help and excused himself to bed. Robin was always so helpful with the dishes with her Devil Fruit powers and all.
You were alone out here with only the sounds of the waves crashing against the hull and your captain’s aggressive snoring. You thought about how you missed your old life, but also how happy you were with the Straw Hats. You loved your job at the brothel and it certainly was less dangerous… but this new life? It was… exhilarating. You loved it.
*I think I need something stronger* you thought to yourself…
You looked at your empty wine glass and walked into the galley for something more exciting. It was spotlessly clean and empty. You opened up the liquor cabinet and perused your options. Vodka, tequila, gin, rum.. hmm…
*It’s a pirate’s life for me, I guess.* You giggled and grabbed the bottle of spiced rum off the shelf. You realized that taking it straight from the bottle was a little barbaric for a late night solo cocktail and went to the fridge for a mixer. Orange juice, mineral water, nothing suitable to mix with rum. You wracked your brain, what would go well with rum? A lightbulb went off in your brain, there’s an obvious choice. Cola!
Rum and cola went together like peanut butter and jelly, like pancakes and syrup, like tea and honey. Your mouth watered at the prospect of a tasty drink… You knew there wasn’t any cola in the kitchen, but you knew exactly where it was. You filled a glass from the cabinet with ice and held it in one hand and the bottle of rum in the other. You pushed past the swinging galley door towards the hallway that went to the center of the ship. You skipped down a flight of stairs until you reached a wooden door marked with blue cartoonish stars. Blue lettering adorned the top of the doorway reading ‘Franky House.’
*So nostalgic of him* you chuckled to yourself before knocking twice.
“What’s up?” You hear Franky’s booming voice from the other side of the door. You opened the door and sidled in with your glass and bottle in hand.
“Oh heyyy pretty thing, what are you doing up at this hour?” Franky turned on his stool next to his workbench to look at you.
“I could ask you the same thing.” You smiled at him as you strode confidently towards the fridge you spotted in the corner of his room. “Fancied myself a rum and cola, figured you’d be the guy to call about finding a bottle of cola around here.”
“Yeah babe! Mi cola es su cola!” He flashed you a winning smile before he turned back towards his work bench and continued fiddling with whatever gadget he was working on before your intrusion. You grabbed a bottle of brown syrupy liquid from the fridge and brought it over to him. You said nothing, just pointed the head of the bottle in his direction. He barely looked up as he reached his large hard out and popped the cap off of the bottle for you. You smiled.
“Thanks, handsome.”
You returned to the desk in the middle of the room where you had set your rum and glass, setting the cola down. You picked up the rum and poured a GENEROUS amount over the ice. You topped it off with the freshly popped cola and brought the glass to your lips. Holy shit you over did it with the rum but damn, that’s good. You took a few more sips and let out a big sigh.
“Rough day, sweet cheeks?” Franky laughed after hearing your exasperated sigh.
“Hmm.. I guess. Just feeling a bit nostalgic is all.”
Franky’s hands continued to manipulate the mechanical item on his work bench.
“Yeah I get it. It happened to all of us, ya have this whole life and then all of a sudden you’re a pirate. It’s super weird. You’ll get used to it, y/n, we all do. We can talk about it, if ya like.” He doesn’t turn around. He had always been so good at expressing his emotions, such a tender and kind soul. He knew how you felt, and wanted you to feel heard.
*Such a sweet heart for a robot* you thought to yourself. But he wasn’t a robot, he was still a man. Sure, his body was more metal than flesh at this point, but it didn’t take away from what a gentle spirit he had. You started to wonder what other human instincts he had left…
“Honestly Frank? I’m kind of trying not to think about it. What are you working on?” You walk over to his work bench and lean up next to him, against the table backwards, able to see the item on the table but facing his body.
“Oh this? Nothing totally crazy, just something I was thinking about for my forearm cannon. You see this part here…” He was excitedly telling you about his work, clearly passionate about his science. You nod and give him “hmm”’s here and there. You pour another strong drink and bring it back over to Franky’s work bench. You set the glass in front of him.
“I can’t be the only one indulging tonight, right?” You say seductively as you slide the glass towards his massive chest.
“Well little lady, I’m usually a cola purist, but I guess one drink won’t hurt.” Franky grabs the glass in his large hand and slams the drink in one gulp. He hisses out, not prepared for how strong you made the cocktail.
“My god girl, you’re trying to get me drunk?!”
You laugh out loud and pour yourself another drink.
“No no, just trying to get more comfortable!” You laugh again. “Now tell me more about this hydraulic, fusion combustion, thingy again…”
You say this as you set yourself down on Franky’s wide lap, drink in hand.
“Okay so if you can see this piece right here…” Franky continued explaining his latest project to you as you became distracted by his handsome features. He had a strong, chilled jaw, defined abs, incredible thighs and you couldn’t help but let your eyes wander to his swim briefs. Was it still real? Did he have anything or was he like a doll?
You let your thoughts get the better of you and you set your glass down on the workbench. You slid to your knees in between Franky’s spread legs and let your head rest on his thigh.
“WoAAhhh sweet thing, something else on your mind?” He dropped what he was working on and lifted his sunglasses onto his head as he looked down at you. He leaned back. You giggled up at him while stroking his crotch slowly.
“mmmm yes. How could I not wonder? I’ve thought about it so much. Never had someone like you before…” You drew your face closer to the growing bulge in his swim briefs as you palm him.
“Are you sure? How much do you want it? It might be too much for ya, doll face…” Franky puts his large palm on the side of your face, seemingly a bit concerned.
“I want it. I can take it, please show me.” Your fingers worked at the hem of his tight black speedo before he helped you bring it down to his ankles. You pull them all the way off and return to your kneeled position between his legs.
“Wow…”
His cock was so gorgeous. It had to be real. It was so long, thinner than you’d like, but the length was truly impressive. The base was decorated with tufts of blue hair.
“Is this good for ya, babe? Tell me what ya like and I can make it happen." Franky stroked your hair as you were staring at his cock from between his knees.
“What?” You didn’t know what he was talking about. Was he that confident in his sexual abilities? You felt your cunt clench in anticipation.
“No, this," He nods his head down at his erect cock. "I can make it anything you want. Too big?” You stared up at him with wide eyes.
“Want bigger? Maybe you’re a little size queen?” Franky smirked at you with those last words.
“No no,” You stuttered out. “Could you… could you maybe make it a little… thicker?” You were so embarrassed, you felt so silly asking for this man to change up his own cock for you.
“Of course doll, if you want to be stretched out real good, who am I to deny you?” Franky smiled as he pressed his metal nose.
You stared at his erect penis as it became girthier right before your eyes.
“No way…” You gasped quietly to yourself.
“Yes way baby! You really thought I would rebuild my own body and not give myself an incredible dick?” He grinned down at you between his legs. “Now… where were we?”
You felt his hand gently push the back of your head towards his newly engorged cock. You were snapped out of your stupor and grabbed the thick length with both hands and began to pump it slowly.
“Perfect….” Franky cooed at you as you stroked him.
You leaned forward and took his tip into your mouth. He groaned loudly. You knew he would be loud, he always is, why would now be any different?
You gradually took more and more of his cock into your mouth and bobbed your head up and down. With each pull backwards you slurped and dragged your tongue across the bulbous head of his dick.
“Fuck, shit, just like that…” He tried so hard not to ram his hips into your face, knowing it would scare you off. His body was too strong.
“Shit baby… You’re way too good at this… get up here and let me stuff you.”
Once again your pussy squeezed around nothing, pushing out a drip of your arousal. Franky leaned down and grabbed your hips to pull you upward.
In a moment you were on your back on Franky’s workbench, his projects swept to the the floor with one brush of his huge forearm. He was man handling your body to pull all your clothes off of you. You lay back down on the table, now fully bare in front of him.
“Franky, fuck me. Please. I want it.”
He hovered over you, massive body eclipsing yours.
“And you’re sure? I told you it might be too much… Once I start… well it can just be a lot for someone who isn't used to it.” Franky asked you for the last time, making sure you knew what you were getting into.
“Yes, Frank. I’m so sure.”
He pushed you down forcefully, but you protested by rising to your elbows and catching his lips in a wet kiss. He accepted your kiss and forced his tongue past your spit covered lips. You groaned at his dominance, such a change from how you were used to being with your other lovers.
After making out for several moments, you whined a bit too loudly when he pinched at your nipple.
“Okay okay needy girl, I’ll give you what you want now. But don’t say I didn’t warn you…”
He pushes your thighs up with one hand as he lines his perfect cock up with your sopping hole with the other. He squeezes himself in slowly.
“Holy FUCK, my GOD Franky…!” You shout out as he sinks balls deep inside of you, having you in a mating press with one hand due to his large stature.
“Oh pretty lady, we haven’t even started.” He begin to pull out and shove himself back into your cunt, slick coating his cock more and more with each thrust. You slammed your eyes shut in pleasure, his dick was hitting all the perfect spots inside of you almost like it was made perfectly to fit your body… oh wait… it was.
All of a sudden you felt a new sensation along with his heft length splitting you open. Was he… vibrating? Your neck snapped up and your eyes shot open to meet his above you.
“Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that. Had to add something for the ladies pleasure, right?”
“FRANKY!” Your body lurched forward and grabbed his biceps. You had never felt anything like this before. It’s like your body was lit up by electricity. The smooth drag of his vibrating cock against your g-spot was complete sensory overload.
Franky chuckled. He continued railing into your tiny body, chasing his own pleasure, not worried that you’d reach yours.
“Frank I’m going to-!” You yelped as your body tumbled over the edge in pleasure. It was the most intense orgasm you’ve ever experienced. Your spasming cunt pushed out your release all over your lovers abdomen and legs.
“Wow doll face, I never thought you’d be a squirter!” Franky laughed over you as he drilled his hips into yours further, not concerned about your recovery from your intense orgasm. Your body was limp in his hold now, not able to produce any sort of coherent phrase.
“Franky wait, I feel like-Ah!“
You were cumming again. It was only a few moments after your last orgasm and your center was squeezing and creaming on Franky’s thick robotic cock again. You had lost full control over your body, it was like nothing you’d ever experienced. You screamed. You had no idea what words you were trying to scream, but you screamed.
“You like that, huh baby? How about one more for me? I think you can do it, right?” Tears streamed down your face as you laid on his workbench, boneless. Your cunt was throbbing in both pain and pleasure. You were being thrust into so forcefully that your body slid back and forth on the table, your breasts basically hitting you in the chin as they bounced so aggressively.
“Mmmm.. Hmm. FUCK! Yes I can do it, I can take it!” You felt drunk on pleasure, barely able to keep your eyes focused. The sensations in your pussy were unlike anything you’d ever experienced. As your cyborg lover pounded into you at an impossible speed, you felt the familiar wave of pressure bubble up from your center, but this time far more intense than the others.
“There it is baby, I can feel it, I knew you could do it for me sweet thing.” He coaxed you into tipping over the edge. Your back arched and you shrieked up at him. You vision went completely white for a moment as you felt your massive release splattering against Franky’s thighs and cock. Wet, sloppy noises filled the room as you felt your cunt start to tingle with numbness and overstimulation,
“Can’t… it’s too much!” You whine loudly at him as you make a feeble attempt to push at his abs, not entirely sure what you wanted yet.
“That’s just fine doll face, I’ve got something else in mind anyway.” He flashes you a huge grin before grabbing you around your ribs and setting you down on your knees on the floor in front of him.
“Open wide, pretty lady!” He held your hair in a makeshift ponytail with one hand and stroked his massive cock in front of your face with the other.
Obviously after 3 earth-shattering orgasms you were putty in his large hands. You stick your tongue out and look up at him. After seeing the makeup smeared on your face from spit and sweat and tears, there was no way he could hold back any longer.
“Fuuuuuuuck…!” He groaned out as he painted your eager, wrecked face with simply so much cum. It dripped off your cheeks and your chin as you happily kept your mouth open for him. He finally finishes his release and taps his cock on your tongue, so you can taste the last bit.
“Shit you look so super like this!” Franky beamed down at you covered in his thick cum. You grin back up at him, delirious from exhaustion, cum dribbling down your neck. “But I guess I can’t leave ya like that huh?” He grabbed a clean rag from a drawer in his workbench and started wiping his seed off your face, you were so exhausted your eyes fell closed and you held your head in his free hand.
“Hold on hold on doll, I’m almost done then I’ll put ya to bed.” Franky finished cleaning your face and picked up up off your knees and set you down on his bed. He tucked you in and went to put back on the little clothing he had on in the first place. He moved towards the door of his room.
“Well thanks for the break, little lady! I have a repair I need to finish up on the deck tonight, but you get some rest.” Franky says from over his shoulder on the way out to the rest of the ship. You close your eyes and relax your bruised and exhausted body into Franky’s mattress.
"Hey, if you’re feeling up to it when I get back, we can have a round 2! You haven’t even seen half the super stuff I can do, I just went easy on you!” He shouted as he left the room with his toolbox and the door closed behind him.
Your eyes snapped open.
“WHAT?!”

So my friend has me watching One Piece again which means I am back on my Mihawk brainrot--
Therefore let me introduce you to the list of hobbies I headcannon Mihawk to practice when he's sailing from A to B or taking a bit of time off in his goth castle:
cooking
reading
gardening
embroidery
wood carving
soap making
Extensive and rambly collection of thoughts on all of these under the cut:
Cooking
Reading
My man lives alone, of course he can cook. And he enjoys it. He is the type who technically can eat anything and everything no matter the taste as long as it gives him the nutrition he needs, but ever since he started cooking more regularly he's caught himself getting more picky about the quality and taste of his food. This becomes a problem when his unbidden guests (read: Perona dragging Zoro along) decide to help with the cooking duties... Mihawk has to go through a unexpectedly difficult phase of adapting to liking food that he hasn't made himself exactly fitting to his own taste again.
(Also Zoro on vegetable cutting duty leaves a Mess™. Mihawk makes him scrub the entire kitchen back to his standards after the first time, and while Zoro at first only marginally improves on the not making a mess part, he significantly improves on the cleaning the mess part. [Mihawk's standards for a clean kitchen are exactly as high as Sanji's, a fact which serves Zoro well after his return.])
Gardening
Mihawk enjoys his books. Nothing like a nice evening of quiet reading with a good glass of wine. He reads while travelling too, because lets be honest, there is only so much wistful staring at the horizon he can do and only so many naps he can take while he sails Hitsugibune from one end of the world to the other. At this point he has worked his way halfway through the library of his castle. Which does not stop him from buying new books. He's surprised that it still isn't a commonly known fact about him, with how often he has caused near heart attacks in poor bookshop owners when they are faced with the World's Greatest Swordsman having appeared in their shop to buy a book?? But he supposes it's one of these "no one will ever believe you" kind of situations.
Mihawk also has a lady two islands over from Kuraigana who supplies him with romance novels. She wisely knows not to comment, but he will never forget her wild grin the first time she saw him reaching for a queer novel. The woman seems to pride herself in always having a new queer story available whenever he stops by, and Mihawk has stubbornly decided to pokerface his way through their interactions forever and ever.
The library has significantly grown since Mihawk moved in. It's sorted by genre now. He'll never let Shanks in there so he doesn't have to admit just how much and what kind of romance he's reading.
Embroidery
Roses. Mihawk has an aesthetic and he commits to it 100%. He keeps the most immaculate rose garden Shanks has ever seen, and Shanks has seen plenty of pretty places. At least half the different species of rose bushes are actually gifts from Shanks after he's seen the beginnings of the garden the first time he visited (read: dropped by unannounced) Kuraigana after it became known Mihawk had claimed the island. So now, years later, Mihawk has probably the most extensive collection of rose species in all colours, shapes and sizes in all the seas.
To Zoro's chagrin, the garden is set up like a maze. It's not a big maze. Even the rose bushes Mihawk has allowed to grow tall during his absences barely even reach higher than Mihawk's shoulders. No reasonable person could ever get lost in it. It quickly becomes apparent that Zoro is not a reasonable person.
'Hidden' within the rose 'maze' there are some dedicated patches of ground making up a kitchen garden. Mihawk got tired of doing supply runs every couple weeks, so he grows his own vegetables and herbs (healing purposes included) and even started to grow the spices he prefers.
(To his own annoyance that garden is not able to support feeding three mouths instead of just one, so the supply runs are back to their old frequency until he makes Zoro and Perona spend a week helping him extend the garden. By year two Kuraigana is mostly self-sufficient again. [By year three Mihawk doesn't know what to do with his extra produce anymore so he decides to actually host Shanks' crew for once instead of just Shanks on his lonesome. They are surprisingly respectful of his space, he might even get the utterly insane idea to do this again.])
Wood carving
You have seen his clothes. Everyone has seen his clothes. You know the chances of finding a good, waterproof coat that not just fits perfectly but also exactly reflects your style? They're abysmal. And even if you found the perfect piece of clothing for you, it needs to be properly washed and maintained if you want it to last longer than a storm or two. Also, professional hand embroidery costs a ton of money. So yes, Mihawk made all the little embroidered details himself. At this point he doubts anyone even remembers how his coat looked back when he bought it and before he had time to put a needle to it. Well, anyone who isn't Shanks. Because Mihawk distinctly remembers Shanks staring when he first showed up to a duel with his brand new coat and then staring again after Mihawk was done with it.
Embroidery is more of a winter hobby, when the garden doesn't need him, and he feels the urge to keep his hands moving. For a while he considered teaching Zoro to give him more of a feeling for fine control, but he quickly discarded the idea in favour of helping Perona with her clothes making adventures.
Mihawk never thought or intended for wood carving to become an actual hobby at all. It started out with him finding himself having sailed into a middle of a rather big reef in an attempt to evade social interaction with Vice Admiral Garp after he spotted his ship on the horizon in the early days of Mihawk's Warlord-ship. The reef had plenty rock and coral formations just closely hiding beneath the water surface, interseeded with sand banks that shifted with the tides, which any ship that lays even slightly deeper in the water than Hitsugibune would not be able to navigate. Mihawk relied on his Haki and superior eye-sight to spot all the obstacles and even with all that it was difficult to sail Hitsugibune safely. Then the winds turned on him rather suddenly when he crossed a climate barrier, bringing along heavy cloud cover and fog, and Mihawk decided he needed to make note of the rock formations somehow to not run into them after all as visibility pretty much approached zero. Being not at all talented in map drawing, Mihawk used Kogatana to carve the map into a random scrap of plank instead. It served him well (he sucessfully avoided Garp and there was not a single new scratch on Hitsugibune) and it kind of just became a thing he did. He now has a small collection of carved maps of mostly reefs and other dangerous waters he uses for hiding and evading purposes. And if he carves the occasional bird or other animal when he's bored out at sea, no one needs to know.
Soap making
It's another hobby Mihawk stumbled upon mostly by coincidence. One day during a supply run he got annoyed by how expensive soap is. The next day he had everything he needed to make it for much less money. A week later he had a year's worth supply of soap sorted out. Shanks asks how Mihawk manages to always smell of roses, even when he has been gone from Kuraigana for weeks. Mihawk says nothing while Shanks' crew mercilessly teases their captain for always getting up and close into Hawkeyes' personal space to even know that. They are smart enough to know not to comment on Mihawk allowing Shanks this close in the first place.
#mihawk#dracule mihawk#one piece#mishanks#the red force arriving on a new island:#shanks: do you have interesting roses?? i'm gifting Golden Eyes all the roses in the world <3#benn: ... and when are you planning to inform Hawkeyes that this is not a platonic gesture..?#shanks: *deer in the headlights look*#benn: ... *sigh of longest suffering* i will have to handle it won't i?#forever in love with the thought of mihawk actually liking shanks' crew#he's just *really* antisocial to the point where they all think hawkeyes is just barely tolerating them#so they are so surprised when mihawk invites them all to kuraigana#shanks mandates all their monthly bath before even thinking about stepping off that ship#they are all on their best behaviour but it turns out to actually just be a genuinely nice evening with great food

Giving him silent treatment
Pairing: Vinsmoke Sanji x [gender neutral] Reader Words: ~ 1 400 Summary: You end up giving Sanji a silence treatment after the latest events. Tags: Sanji is very boyfriend / But also very dramatic / Just a little lack of communication
Requested by anon
A/N: i feel. nervous about this. ooc, maybe?
• Sanji will notice it right away that you're a little different with him, not glancing at him whenever he is around nor making a comment about how his good dish tastes
• You even decide to go with Usopp, Luffy, Robin, Franky and Zoro when you stop at this new island instead of with Chopper, Nami and Sanji like the usual (Brook had stayed back to watch the ship
• You’re there watching Luffy get chased by a local animal while Franky and Usopp uselessly try to help him out—now you understand the reason they never get anything done—when you comment something about just helping them out at once
• At first, Zoro just hums in agreement as he was there along with Robin and you watching the three fools, but then he pauses and raises an eyebrow at you. "What are you doing here? Where is the shitty cook?"
• Your face twisted in a way Zoro decided not to ask any further
• You’re back at the ship and Sanji will ask where you were, met with no answer once again
• Maybe you're distracted? Busy with something else? So he will let you be for a while and later come by, more of testing the waters, asking you about what you were talking about with Robin or if stupid Marimo bothered you too much
• He will feel completely lost with you not answering and absolutely reduced to a shrimp size once you glare at him in a quiet acknowledgement of his presence because he needs to know you're aware of him and just not answering on purpose, otherwise he'd just be convinced you're distracted again
• Absolutely devastated. Will enter in collapse mode and go over every single little thing that he did because he can't handle (y/n)—his beloved (y/n)—stopping loving him under any circumstances, even more for something he may have done without conscience. He won't be able to live a single day without you giving him attention, he might as well die if you're never going to talk with him again—his mind does escalate that quickly
• Will be found obsession cooking for the next couple of hours because cooking helps him think and Luffy doesn't see any problem with it
• Later, he comes to you with your favorite dish and that lost puppy face when you're sitting at a table on Sunny's deck
• ...It’s hard to resist to it, but it's for the best, so you just send him a look before returning your attention to the sea and wait until he walks away so you can eat the dish he leaves on the table
• Okay, Sanji will give you a while longer, still trying to make up with you until the end of the day, but the fact he doesn't get any good night kiss nor good morning hug starts to drive him crazy
• Baby boy will fucking cry. He cries the same way he did when you were captured by Crocodile and then again by Enel, with this angst heavy in his chest with the sensation he will never again have you cuddling him to sleep or kiss your cheek when you sit on his lap or even receive an adoring look from you because he's just that insecure with finally getting a partner after many failed attempts
"(Y/n)?" You looked to the side to see Nami standing there; you were sitting at the same place as the previous day, messing with a book you fixed on the last island. She furrowed her eyebrows a little, scratching the back of her head. "Is everything alright?"
"...I would say so, kind of, why?"
"Well, you and Sanji seem a little... off, y'know." Nami pulled the other chair back to have a seat. "You weren't buying spices with him yesterday, he seemed pretty lost. Also, he is crying."
"He's what?" Your eyes widened at how she'd dropped the bomb with such casualty and no more explanation.
Nami nodded, crossing her arms over her chest. "Like, go talk with him! That's what I'm saying."
You cringed a little, sighing as you closed your book and leaned a little forward on the chair. Maybe giving him silent treatment wasn't the best way to deal with it in long-term; not only Nami had to approach the situation, but Sanji was fucking crying, also. Not that you weren't used to his dramatic behavior, but it was true it'd been a while since he last showed up and it usually wasn't a good sign if he was stuck in the galley like that.
"Take care." You slid your book to Nami with a sigh before you stood up and moved to go find Sanji.
The ingredients for whatever other dish Sanji was preparing received all the feelings he had supressed, being chopped quickly and with more force than needed while Sanji cried alone in the galley. You sighed at the sight, rolling your eyes half-heartedly before you closed the door behind yourself and approached him. Sanji looked over his shoulder and sniffled before he cried more.
"Hey, San, I—"
"I'm so sorry, my love, I don't know what I did, so maybe I'm not so worthy of your love anymore and..." He continued rambling without stopping chopping the vegetables.
You stood there for a moment, observing the mess he was in—you could ruin him just like that? Not like you wouldn't be desolated if you thought he happened to stop liking you, but knowing someone felt this way about you was quite different.
"Stop!" You grabbed him by the lapel of his blazer so he would finally stop what he was doing. "I never stopped loving you or anything, stop saying shit!"
Sanji blinked a couple of times and sniffled, looking at you. "Then what happened, mon amour? Every second without you feels like endless torture, I—"
"Sanji." You sighed, loosening your grip and playing a little with the fabric before you let your hands fall, fumbling with your thumbs at the lack of what to do under his confused gaze. "It's just that... You had..." Hell, it felt pathetic to say it out loud, to explain how your thoughts had twisted everything. "You promised me you would go with me to a clothing store as soon as we reached a new island, then you started making plans and didn't mention it. I thought you'd just not mention it to the others, but then asked Chopper and Nami to tag along as usual, and..." You paused to take a breath, swallowing dryly as your eyes followed along the buttons of his blazer. It would be shit if your voice started cracking and failing and got teary. "I got angry and frustrated, so I left because I didn't want to be rude to you because— because what if you didn't like me and everything I say doesn't matter? But then, what if you were just distracted and never noticed we had agreed on this little date thing? I didn't want to talk with you after that because what if I said the wrong thing? Did something I shouldn't just because I was angry and impulsive? I'm so sorry, I didn't want you to..." You sighed, shifting your weight, and motioned to him.
At first, Sanji didn’t know what to say, standing there with wide eyes. "No!" He mumbled, wrapping his arms around you to hug you close. "I didn't mean to make you feel like this! Didn't I tell you, my love?"
"Tell me what?"
Sanji blinked slowly as he looked at you then frowned, letting his gaze fall to the ground at the same moment his cheeks gained a red color—he didn’t really hug you anymore, more of just holding onto your sides with his hands balled into fists around your shirt. "I—I could swear I had told you to, um, wait until we got to a nicer island than the last one... There were many things to take care of, I could swear I had told you..." His eyes filled with tears again, and you hummed understandingly, wrapping your hands around his shoulders to hug him close and press a kiss to his head. "I—I didn’t want to m—make you feel that way—"
"Oh, no," you sighed as you cleaned his face, mentally cursing yourself. "No, c'mon, no need to sacrifice yourself at this, pretty boy, it happens!"
"But—"
The way you glared at him had Sanji falling quiet with a pout, making you grin before you pecked his lips in return.

Food Critic
sanji x reader
[2.4k words] [I'm working on the second part!! stay tuned]
a/n: hii! this is my first sanji fiction, hope you enjoy it. I would love to hear your thoughts about it and my reqs are open. there aren't any trigger or spoiler warnings on this fic.
summary: food critic reader goes to Baratie to enjoy a nice evening and analyze the restaurant without knowing what awaits her; a couple of romantic moments with the sous chef of the restaurant. 'apologies madam' scene included with slight changes and much more...
‘I’m going to be the greatest food critic of all time!’
The phrase echoed in your head as you stood outside the restaurant on water, otherwise known as ‘Baratie’. Ever since you were a little kid, you had one particular dream: To become one of the most respected food critics alive.
In a world full of pirates and bounty hunters, some may say your goal was boring, ordinary. Rather than fighting sea creatures and thieves, you were going from one restaurant to another, tasting all of their signature dishes; taking notes about the flavors in your mouth and the emotions each dish has brought you.
Don’t they say to follow your passion? Food has always been yours. You never saw it as a ‘boring’ task, you were enthusiastic about it.
It all started when you were a little kid; you sat there in the kitchen, watching your grandmother cook delicious smelling meals. To you, those were the best times of your childhood. Watching her skilfully chop up the vegetables, hearing the simmering pots, seeing the baked goods rise in the oven…
All of it brought you a sense of comfort. As you grew older, she allowed you to help her in the kitchen, teaching you each spice and many knife tricks.
When she sadly passed away, you were only 12. Needless to say she was your favorite relative, you made her a promise at her funeral, to learn the dishes all across the four seas.
It was her dream but when she started a family, she had to quit pursuing her goal. So you took it upon you and made her a vow in which you don't intend on breaking.
***
Once you stepped into the restaurant, you found yourself admiring the interior. Baratie’s ambiance was astonishing. You’ve been in many restaurants overseas but this place was nothing like you’ve ever seen before.
The open floor plan made the place look elegant. The choices of colors maroon, beige and wooden brown added more to the elegant look as well as the wrought iron handrails on the balconies of the second floor. The lightning was dim and there wasn’t much sunlight due to the lack of windows; it made the restaurant more alluring and mysterious.
While you were busy observing the interior, one of the hosts of the restaurant greeted you, saying
‘Welcome to Baratie, how can I help you?’
‘I would like to have a seat.’ you said, looking kindly at the man.
‘Do you have a reservation ma’am?’ He said, looking at you then directing his attention to the line behind you that had just been formed.
‘No, I don’t have one. Would it be a problem?’ You asked, batting your eyelashes. You weren’t the most experienced critic considering your age but you knew how to use your charm to get what you wanted.
He quickly looked down at the tables, searching for an available spot. There were some empty tables but looking at his attitude, you can tell that the restaurant didn’t want just any customer: Especially the ones who who looked like they could easily stir some trouble up. Lucky for you, you knew how to clean up nicely.
‘Normally, we’re very full today but we’ll be making an exception for you ma’am. If you’ll follow me...’
You followed him down the stairs just like he asked you to and he led you to your table. When you sat down, you sank into the velvety cushion of the dark red booth.
‘Here is the menu. Your waiter will be with you shortly.’
‘Thank you, sir.’
You began to wait for your waiter, as you were told. The antique table lamp’s soft yellow light reflected on your face while you listened to the background noise: Classy jazz, waiters rushing in and out of the kitchen, customers’ enjoying their dishes while chatting and clinking their glasses of wine…
Everything seemed peaceful until you heard the yelling noise coming from the kitchen. You directed your gaze towards the kitchen door, curious about what’s happening inside. Seconds after that, you saw a tall blonde man get out of the kitchen, looking annoyed as he quickly wore his jacket.
He stopped by a table full of appetizers and got a plate in his hand, holding it up to carry it around the tables.
Just as he was making his way to a nearby table, a fight seemed to occur right in front of him. Two guys were fighting over the table, the one already sitting at the table claiming it is his right to sit on the table, the other telling the opposite.
They began to talk more aggressively and one of them threw a plate of food that was sitting on the table as the blonde man stopped in front of them flashing a smile, saying
‘Now now, gentleman. You know the rules here, we don’t waste food. And there’s no fighting at Baratie.’
They didn’t seem to care about the blonde as they continued their bickering. He offered to pour them each a glass of Ithürzburger Stein, free of charge in hopes of stopping the chaos which was disturbing the other customers.
They seemed to like the idea at first, but that didn’t stop one of them from pulling his gun out only a few seconds later. The blonde was quick, just as he saw the gun he kicked the guy’s hand and sent it flying straight to the floor. He blew a few more kicks and in a blink of an eye, the two customers were laying on the ground.
After the fast paced sequence, he didn’t change his calm and -more so- annoyed attitude one bit. He took his appetizer plate back in his hand, let out a sigh and proceeded to walk away exclaiming
‘No cause for alarm, folks. Please enjoy your meals.’
Then, he walked straight to your table while being busy eyeing other tables. Without paying attention to your face or your figure, the words fell quickly from his lips.
‘Hi, welcome to our shitty restaurant where the only thing worse than the ambiance is the food. My name is Sanji, what can I get for you?’
‘Shitty ambiance? I couldn't take my eyes off of it ever since I came here.’
Hearing the sound of your voice, he swiftly turned his gaze on you. His expression of annoyance left its place to a more loving, soft look. He ever so slightly tilted his head to the left and put on a little smirk on his face.
‘Apologies madam, didn’t see you there.’
The tone of irritation in his voice was completely gone and now it was much more... suave.
‘You’re liking the ambiance eh? Can’t say the same about the second part ‘cuz you’ll be the only thing I can’t take my eyes off of tonight.’
You did not expect the bold flirtatious act nor the quick word play from him. Given that he caught you off guard, you were thankful for the dim lights as you felt your cheeks getting warmer. As you remained silent, he continued
‘Will you care for an aperitif to start? Or maybe a beverage. We have several rare Micqueot vintages in stock…’
‘Actually, I would love to have a glass of Umeshu.’
‘I should’ve figured. Y’know, something sweet for.. someone sweet.’ He winked as he said the last part. He was shamelessly flirting with you. You turned your head sideways to avoid staring at his eyes for a second.
Normally, it would give you the ick but when he did it, you surprisingly enjoyed it. Say whatever you want; whether it’s his amazing kicking abilities, how he looks in his suit or his flirtatious personality, you can’t stop yourself from having butterflies in your stomach.
‘Anything else, madam?’
‘I also would like to order every one of your special dishes, could you do that for me?’
‘...Anything for you. Coming right away.’ He flashed you a smile before returning to the kitchen.
***
When he came back with the plates, you were starving. All of them looked amazing as he put them in front of you in a professional manner.
The waiter who greeted you didn’t lie when it came to the restaurant being busy. There were new customers coming in and out every other minute and it looked like they were short on staff tonight.
Just as he was going to strike up a conversation with you, one of the customers from a nearby table called him up. Sanji told you to enjoy your meal, excused himself and cursed to himself under his breath, hating that the precious time you could’ve spent together was going to be wasted.
When Sanji left, you started with one of the most appealing dishes: It was a buttery seafood sauté with complimentary herbs, garlic and spices. The way the flavors danced on your tongue left you speechless.
In order to note it all down in your notebook, your eyes searched for the restroom. While you were looking around, you locked eyes with Sanji.
He immediately flashed you a genuine, warm smile. You returned his smile by squinting your eyes slightly and smiling back at him, before mouthing the words ‘Where’s the restroom?’
He couldn’t (or maybe wanted to make it seem like he couldn’t) understand what you just said as he put the plates on one of the tables he was attending and made his way up to you.
When you saw him coming, you stood up and went up to him with your small bag in hand. You met in the middle and as he saw you standing, he couldn’t help but check you out from head to toe, taking his sweet time. His warm smile turned into an arrogant grin which meant he enjoyed the sight.
‘Yes madam?’ he asked, leaning slightly towards you.
‘Where can I find the restroom?’
‘Oh it’s right this way… Can I?’ He swiftly gestured to your arm. You nodded, eyes wider than usual, as he took your arm with one of his hands, lightly touched your shoulder with his other hand and turned you around.
Your breath hitched in your throat, his intoxicating smell filling up your nose as he stood right behind you. He was being careful, not to step on any boundaries.
‘So, you go straight ahead. Then turn to your left, first door to the right.’ He pointed out.
You turned your head towards him, only to realize there are a few inches between your faces. Looking up at him, you stared at his gorgeous features. At that moment, everything around you seemed to slow down. When his gaze finally met yours, you were mesmerized.
His blue eyes were shining, the way his lips curled upwards to form his pretty smile was stunning. Feeling the heat his body radiated was enough to drive you over the edge… But you were here to pursue your goal.
In order to continue the task at hand, you whispered him a thank you and went flying to the restroom. Luckily there was a table with decorations in between the sinks, giving you a place to write your notes down on.
***
Time seemed to pass by quickly as you were going back and forth between your table and the restroom. You were trying to be smooth with it but you weren't exactly acting like a professional.
Not that you were being clumsy or carefree, you were a bit amateur. Considering your age, it was understandable.
Plus, the blonde who was gazing at you all night didn't help at all. It was fun though, catching his glances every now and then, seeing his little smirk form up every time you made eye contact (occasionally with a wink), made you feel things.
You couldn't help but to think that you didn't want the night to end here. You wanted more than secret glances and formal discussions…
Just as you finished taking notes about the last dish and made your way back to your table, Sanji stopped you in your tracks, pulling you flush against his chest and moving you both to a near dark corner, trapping your body against his and the wall behind you.
Taking a step back, he looked you in the eyes, searching for a sign of distress or unwillingness.
Upon seeing the pure shock on your face turn into a more relieved look, he leaned towards you, a hand pressed against the wall over your shoulder, right next to your head.
'You a food critic?' He questioned, leaning over.
'Why do you care, waiter boy?' He put his hand on his heart, grimacing his face upon hearing your words.
'I am the sous chef of this restaurant.'‘
‘It didn't seem like it.’
‘Don't try to change the subject now, love.’ He looked deeply in your eyes, it was evident that he was growing impatient.
‘Fine, I am… but you can't tell anyone about it.’
‘Why not? You don't seem to care as you made it pretty obvious.’
‘I want to remain anonymous to be respected. Also, I don't think anyone other than you’ve noticed.’
‘Told you that I wasn't going to be able to take my eyes off of you tonight… I am a man of my word.’
And with that, both of you were laughing. It was a moment of pure sweetness. After a few seconds of the sound of your laughter filling up the empty corner, you continued with a serious tone:
‘Just… promise not to tell anyone.’
‘How about we make a deal, eh? I’ll keep your secret and we’ll have dinner tomorrow.’
‘...It’s not like I have another choice. Right?’
‘C’mon, we both know you want it as bad as I do.’
‘Keep dreaming.’ You said, making your way back to your table.
He didn’t expect you to react this way, when he saw you leaving his side he turned around, looking at you like a lost puppy. You wanted to shock him for a little bit, make him chase after you.
As you sat down, you drank your last sip of wine and took your sweet time before calling Sanji to pay the bill. He immediately went to get the bill and put it in front of you, still shaken. You checked it out, put the money in and thanked him for his service.
He was standing still in front of you as you gathered your things and got up off of the booth. Then, he hesitantly offered you his hand to give your hand a quick goodbye kiss.
You put your hand in his and said:
‘Meet me up at 7?’
He changed his posture, he was more confident now than heartbroken and gave your hand a swift kiss before telling:
‘It’ll be my pleasure.’

*AHem*

Don't be afraid to send me any requests my loves and if you are waiting for the next installment I have my masterlist posted!
Like usual, never be afraid to hang out in the comments. I love you guys feedback and snort up all the love you show. <33
ON WITH THE SHOW!!~~
As the Thousand Sunny glides through the calm seas, a distant glow catches the crew's attention. Nami, always attuned to opportunities for fun and profit, eagerly informs everyone about the nearby island hosting the renowned Festival of Stars. With its promise of dazzling lights, delicious treats, and lively entertainment, it's an irresistible invitation for a crew in need of some rest and relaxation.
Excitement buzzes among the Straw Hat crew as they prepare to make landfall. Luffy's eyes sparkle with anticipation, Sanji's culinary imagination runs wild at the thought of new ingredients, and Usopp feverishly sketches plans for the perfect carnival game.
Suddenly, the sound of cannon fire echoes across the sea, breaking the tranquil atmosphere.
Luffy, ever the goof-ball, shouts, "What's that? Are we under attack?"
"No, Luffy, look!" Usopp points excitedly towards the source of the cannon fire. "It's a welcoming salute! They must be celebrating our arrival!"
A grin spreads across Luffy's face as he grips the ship's railing.
"Alright! Let's join the party!"
Nami nods in agreement, her eyes gleaming with the prospect of potential treasures. "Indeed! But let's make sure we don't get carried away and forget our mission."
Sanji, already envisioning the culinary delights awaiting them, adds, "I can't wait to taste the local cuisine! This festival sounds like heaven!"
Meanwhile, amidst the flurry of excitement, you exchange a meaningful glance with Ace, a silent acknowledgment of your shared desire to explore the festival together. The unspoken tension between you both hangs in the air like the scent of gunpowder after a cannon blast, waiting for the right moment to ignite into something more.
Amidst the hustle and bustle, Ace found himself stealing glances at you whenever he thought you weren't looking. He admired your determination, your wit, and the way you effortlessly fit into the fabric of the crew. Yet, he couldn't bring himself to confess the growing feelings stirring within him.
Little did Ace know, you were experiencing the same internal turmoil. Your heart skipped a beat whenever he smiled, and your cheeks flushed whenever he spoke to you. You admired his strength, his loyalty to his crewmates, and the way he carried himself with a quiet confidence. But like Ace, you were hesitant to reveal the depths of your emotions, afraid of risking the friendship you cherished.
Y’all were soooo down bad for each other.
the Thousand Sunny gracefully docked at the island, the crew eagerly disembarked onto the bustling streets, immediately enveloped in the vibrant energy of the Festival of Stars. The air was alive with the scent of exotic spices and the melodies of street musicians, drawing the Straw Hats into the heart of the festivities.
Stalls adorned with colorful banners and twinkling lights beckoned them with promises of exotic treats and unique treasures. Nami, always the opportunist, discreetly pulled Robin aside amidst the bustling crowd, a mischievous glint in her eyes betraying her intentions. "Let's give those two a little nudge in the right direction," she whispered, and Robin's lips curved into a knowing smile as they exchanged a silent agreement.
Meanwhile, you and Ace found yourselves entranced by a lively carnival game nestled amidst the throngs of revelers. The enticing challenge involved tossing rings onto bottles, each success rewarded with a coveted prize. With a playful glint in his eyes, Ace turned to you, his charismatic grin inviting you to join in the fun.
"Care to test your luck, (Y/n)?" he teased, his voice carrying a hint of friendly competition.
You accepted his challenge with a determined smile, eager to showcase your skills and perhaps impress the fiery-natured pirate. As the game unfolded, laughter and banter flowed freely between you both, each toss of the ring accompanied by playful taunts and good-natured ribbing.
Unbeknownst to you, Nami and Robin watched from a distance, their subtle orchestration unfolding according to plan. With a satisfied smirk, Nami leaned towards Robin and whispered, "I think they're starting to get the idea, don't you?"
Robin nodded, her gaze lingering on the scene before them. "It seems our matchmaking efforts may bear fruit after all," she remarked, a knowing twinkle in her eye as she observed the blossoming camaraderie between you and Ace.
As the carnival game continued, amidst the whirlwind of colors and laughter, the stage was set for something more than just a friendly competition. In the heart of the festival, amidst the vibrant chaos, two hearts danced closer together, their connection blossoming like the stars that illuminated the night sky above.
However, the game proved to be more challenging than expected, with each toss of the ring met with exaggerated groans and comical expressions of determination. Ace's fiery competitiveness only added to the amusement, his dramatic reactions earning laughter from both you and the surrounding crowd.
After a particularly close call that had Ace teetering on the edge of the game booth in mock despair, you finally emerged victorious, clutching the small plush toy prize triumphantly. Amidst the cheering and congratulatory pats on the back, Ace flashed you an exaggerated pout, pretending to wipe away fake tears of defeat.
"Alright, alright, don't rub it in too much," he teased, a playful twinkle in his eye.
You couldn't help but giggle at his theatrics, playfully tossing the plush toy into his waiting arms. "Looks like you'll have to settle for being my second-place prize," you quipped, earning another round of laughter from the surrounding onlookers.
Unbeknownst to both of you, the rest of the crew watched from a discreet distance, their amusement evident in the smirks and stifled laughter exchanged between them. Usopp, still disguised as a carnival attendant, struggled to contain his laughter as he approached with a mischievous grin.
"Congratulations on your win! As a special prize, how about a romantic stroll through the festival's enchanted garden?" he exclaimed, barely managing to keep a straight face.
You and Ace exchanged incredulous glances, momentarily taken aback by the unexpected offer. With matching shrugs and bemused smiles, you accepted, unable to resist the lure of curiosity and the promise of adventure.
As you ventured into the enchanted garden, laughter echoed through the night air, mingling with the soft rustle of leaves and the distant strains of music. The comedic charm of the situation was not lost on the crew, who watched with amused anticipation from the safety of the ship, ready to intervene if their matchmaking scheme veered off course.
As you and Ace embarked on your romantic stroll through the enchanted garden, the atmosphere was filled with an air of whimsy and mystery. Twinkling fairy lights illuminated your path, casting dancing shadows on the verdant foliage that surrounded you.
Unbeknownst to both of you, however, a series of hijinks unfolded in the background, orchestrated by the mischievous members of the Straw Hat crew. Luffy, unable to contain his excitement, had snuck off the ship in search of adventure, only to find himself entangled in a comical chase with a group of festival performers dressed as mischievous sprites.
Meanwhile, Sanji, ever the hopeless romantic, had taken it upon himself to prepare a surprise picnic for the two of you, complete with an array of delectable treats and a bottle of his finest wine. However, his efforts were nearly thwarted when a wayward gust of wind sent his carefully arranged spread tumbling into a nearby bush, much to his dismay.
Back on the ship, chaos ensued as Chopper and Franky attempted to quell the commotion caused by a group of overexcited seagulls that had mistaken the Thousand Sunny for a floating buffet. With brooms and buckets in hand, they engaged in a slapstick battle against the determined feathered invaders, all while trying to maintain a semblance of order.
You and Ace began meandered through the garden, engrossed in conversation and unaware of the chaos unfolding around you, the sounds of laughter and mischief served as a whimsical backdrop to your romantic interlude. Little did you know, the antics of your crewmates would only add to the memories you would cherish for years to come.
The night wore on and the stars began their mesmerizing dance across the sky, a subtle shift occurred between you and Ace. With each shared laugh and stolen glance, the barriers around your hearts began to crumble, revealing the tender affection that had been quietly blossoming between you.
Finally, as the last firework burst into a kaleidoscope of colors, painting the sky with its radiant glow, Ace took a deep breath, his eyes locking with yours in a silent understanding. "There's something I've been wanting to tell you," he began, his voice soft but steady. "I've always admired your strength and kindness, and... I think I might be falling for you."
Your heart skipped a beat at his confession, the weight of his words settling over you like a warm embrace. In that moment, all the unspoken desires and lingering doubts melted away, replaced by a sense of clarity and undeniable truth. "I feel the same way," you admitted, your voice barely above a whisper. "I've been hoping you'd say something like that."
As the crew erupted into cheers and applause from their hidden vantage points, you and Ace shared a shy smile, the joy of mutual understanding washing over you like a wave. Surrounded by the magic of the festival and the warmth of each other's presence, you knew that this moment would be etched into your memories forever.
And so, hand in hand, you and Ace walked through the streets of the Festival of Stars, the world around you alive with possibility and promise. In that enchanted moment, you realized that sometimes, the most precious treasures could be found in the most unexpected of places - even in the heart of a carnival. And as the night faded into dawn, you knew that your journey together had only just begun.
As the cheers of the crew faded from the air, Ace's expression shifted from surprise to realization. "Wait a minute," he exclaimed, a mix of disbelief and amusement crossing his features. "Did Luffy have something to do with this?"
Before you could respond, the mischievous laughter of your crewmates echoed through the garden, confirming Ace's suspicions. "Looks like the little captain couldn't resist playing matchmaker," Sanji chimed in with a knowing smirk.
Nami, unable to contain her amusement, added, "I guess we owe him for helping set the stage for your confession, Ace."
As the teasing banter continued, you and Ace exchanged sheepish glances, both amused and touched by the antics of your crewmates. But before you could fully process the moment, chaos erupted in the garden as Luffy's laughter rang out, accompanied by the sound of running footsteps.
"Hey, come back here, you two!" Luffy's voice echoed through the night air, followed closely by the pounding of feet.
With a shared laugh, you and Ace took off running, the thrill of the chase adding an unexpected twist to the evening's festivities. As the fireworks continued to light up the sky, you and Ace found yourselves using your respective powers - his fire and your water - to outmaneuver your pursuers, weaving through the garden in a playful game of cat and mouse.
With each burst of laughter and flicker of flames, the bond between you and Ace grew stronger, fueled by the shared joy of the moment. And as the night unfolded in a whirlwind of excitement and hilarity, you couldn't help but marvel at the unexpected turn of events that had brought you closer together.
As the chase continued under the canopy of stars, you and Ace knew that no matter where your adventures took you, the memories of this magical night would always hold a special place in your hearts.
And as the fireworks danced across the sky, illuminating the path ahead, you felt grateful for the laughter, the love, and the unforgettable moments shared with your Straw Hat family.

Mornings on the Sunny
As the night draws to an end and the light of dawn closes in on the Thousand Sunny, the strawhats prepare for yet another day on the open seas.
Sanji is the first one to wake, before the sun rises over the horizon. He makes himself a cup of coffee before getting on with planning the meals of the day, from breakfast to supper and every meal in between. With Luffy on the ship, it’ll be quite many of them. He takes out his little notebook with notes on everyone’s preferences, allergies and needs when it comes to food and diet. He reads through it carefully before planning each dish for each person for the day.
Next to wake is Zoro, who’s also up before the morning light for a workout session before the rest of the crew wakes up. Might be some distractions otherwise. Before heading to the crows nest he walks by the kitchen where the cook is preparing breakfast. “Your shitty pre-workout smoothie is on the table” the cook calls out, his back to the swordsman, concentrated on the delicate tea leaves he’ll use for Nami’s morning tea. “Try not to choke on it”. The swordsman calls back, ”Like I need your stupid drinks to help me”, but he grabs the smoothie anyway and heads out.
When the first rays of sunshine hit the sails of the Sunny, Robin makes her way from the room she shares with Nami over to the kitchen. She didn’t get much sleep this night but it wasn’t unusual. She still felt rested enough to get up and get some studying done before breakfast. In the kitchen, Sanji just finished pouring a cup of coffee. “Good morning, beautiful” he says by way of greeting before handing Robin the cup. “A fresh cup of black of coffee, just the way you like it!” He made it sound simple but she knew the time and care the cook put into making each of his creations. One sip and Robin could taste all the flavor of the freshly ground coffee beans, straight from Jaya Island. Once again she thinks about how lucky she truly is. Robin gives the cook a smile. “You’re too sweet Sanji”, she says and takes the cup with her to the library where she can spend some time with her books.
It’s a while yet before anyone else wakes up. Zoro has finished his workout and is napping in the morning sun up in the crows nest. He did wake up early after, he deserves some rest. Down below, Nami finally appears on deck. She’s still tired, but a walk between the orange trees always helps wake her up in the morning. She makes sure they have enough water and nutrition before heading to the observation deck to check on the weather for the day. It’s always good to be prepared, and she likes giving the weather report over breakfast. On her way, she looks up and sees a pair of feet hanging over the edge of the crows nest. Nami mutters to herself about how she always finds that damn swordsman either sleeping, training or drinking.
Franky may not be the earliest of birds but he rarely stays in bed for long. Once he’s awake, there’s simply too many things to do, too many ideas to realize. Last night he actually fell asleep in his workshop, tinkering with yet another new innovation that would improve the ships defenses. And when he wakes up he goes straight back to work. At least for a few minutes before he realizes that he needs some energy. Franky leaves the workshop and goes to the kitchen, where Sanji is plating up the dinner table for breakfast. The whole room was smelling delicious with different flavors and spices. Franky couldn’t wait too see what the cook had prepared for them this morning. So instead of heading back to the workshop, he grabs a cola from the temporarily unlocked and unchained fridge, and sits down at the table to chat with Sanji while he cries the last of the eggs.
When breakfast is finally ready, Sanji and Franky make rounds on the ship, calling everyone to the kitchen. Jimbei, after having had a long night of steering the Sunny across treacherous waters, had decided to sleep in this morning, but the call of breakfast was enough to wake him from his deep slumber. When he goes out to grab the morning paper, he’s met by Brook, the only other old man in the ship. He’s delighted in the skeletons simple jokes and lightheartedness. Brook himself is overjoyed to have someone onboard who finally appreciates his clever puns. “I can smell the omelettes all the way from here” he says to Jimbei. “Sanji sure is an eggcellent cook!”. They both laugh on their way to the kitchen.
Last ones to wake are the boys; Luffy, Chopper and Usopp are laying on a pile on the floor in their shared room, all of them deep in sleep and snoring loudly. It isn’t until Sanji himself walks into the room, after having called out to them several times, and gives them a gentle smack in the head, that they finally open their eyes to take in the late morning light. These three could sleep for days. The mosshead too, if he didn’t wake up to workout, Sanji thinks to himself. And Luffy, he could sleep through a storm without a care in the world. With much complaining about having to wake so early, the boys finally, slowly, make their way to the kitchen. But as soon as Luffy gets a whiff of the freshly cooked food, he’s once again full of energy. He takes off across the deck, leaving Usopp and Chopper to follow as fast as they can. On his way back, the cook kicks the mast that holds the crows nest, shaking Zoro from his nap. Annoyed, he makes his way down, and is the last one to sit down at the table.
Finally, all the strawhats are gathered over breakfast, loudly chatting to each other, sharing stories, enjoying their personalized food and are having a wonderfully simple morning. Nami shares the weather report and plans on where to sail according to her maps and her log pose compass. Luffy, of course, wants to take the most fun route possible, even though the others know that his definition of “fun” is the equivalent to “dangerous”. Usopp once again tells them all the story of how he single-handedly fought and defeated a giant goldfish with nothing but his slingshot and wits. Franky excitedly shares his new ideas for how to make the Sunny go even faster if he could just adjust the main and foremast. Zoro, with his mouth full, complains about how the shitty food would taste better if he had some sake, to which the cook does not respond well.
After breakfast, everyone sets about with their tasks and doings for the day. While Sanji stays in the kitchen to clean up, Nami and Robin head to the library, where the former will study her maps and the latter will try to decipher yet another ancient text the crew had found on an earlier adventure. Usopp and Franky walk together to where their workshops lie at the stern of the ship, talking excitedly about mechanics and wood properties. Before Jimbei takes his place behind the steering wheel yet again, he takes a quick swim around ship to freshen up and scout the area from under the water. Chopper collects some herbs from the garden he shares with Usopp, and heads down to the sickbay to prepare some medicine and do some research. Robin had recently gifted him a book with rare and peculiar deseases that he had been reading intensely for the last couple of days. Zoro was back on yet another workout session. Can’t lift too little, right? Brook goes back to the boys room to pick up his violin. When he comes back out, he stands on the middle of the deck, between the orange trees, and plays a little tune. It’s a new song today, one he’s been working on for quite a while. It’s calm yet eerie, each note sounding as if the waves had been given a voice to sing with, and they were singing the song of old ancestors, waters that hadn’t been sailed for hundreds of years. The song echoes throughout the whole ship, keeping each of the crew members company while they go on about their day. At the very front of the ship, on top of the lion-shaped figurehead, Luffy has taken up his usual seat. He looks out over the ocean, towards the horizon, as far as his eyes can see. The music fills his ears and his heart, giving him goosebumps all over his arms. His eyes are filled with excitement and his soul with longing. He smiles to himself. Let the next adventure begin.

<- (previous chapter)
Zoro stretched his legs out and folded his hands behind his head. Finally, some peace and quiet. Or however much quiet he could get on the Going Merry anyway. He shut his eyes, preparing to get a few hours of sleep before they arrived in Raven’s Crag.
“Mrrow!” Four paws landed on his thigh.
“What the hell?”
The black cat?! Zoro picked the cat up by the scruff and it narrowed its large, yellow eyes at him. A stowaway.
“Aren’t these things bad luck?” He said to no one before moving the fluffy creature off his lap. The cat, who was undeterred and stupidly stubborn, jumped onto his lap again the second he closed his eyes. “Knock it off.”
Zoro scooped it up this time and carried it to the other end of the room, setting it down on a crate, before he returned to his napping spot. The cat swished its tail, watching him, but didn’t move from its new perch.
“Stay over there,” he said. The ocean waves crashed and lapped against the hull of the Going Merry in swelling, gentle surges. He found the sound of the ocean soothing. He could sleep anywhere, it’s true, but there was something about sleeping near water. The crash and surge, the pull and push, the saltwater tinge to the air, and rush of the wind snapping the sails. It created a natural lullaby.
He sighed, tilting his head back, and listening to the waves rather than the cacophony of voices above. Usually, he didn’t have trouble falling asleep, but your voice was new and unfamiliar. He wasn’t sure why the old lady requested that you come along. You were a performer—not a fighter. Just because you managed one battle without vomiting at the sight of a dismembered arm didn’t make you a warrior. Zoro’s eyebrow twitched. What’s her deal anyway? He rolled his shoulders, struggling to get comfortable.
A soft paw batted the side of his head near his earlobe. What the--! The cat’s paw remained aloft – ready to smack his earring again.
Zoro narrowed his eyes. “You again?”
The cat lowered its paw and yawned, showcasing its large canine teeth and angling its ears back. Zoro wasn’t intimidated if that’s what the creature was trying to do. He had a sword. That was more impressive than two big teeth and some claws.
“What do they call you?” He lifted the charm on the cat’s collar. “Mimi?”
The cat gave no indication that it recognized its name.
“You really are bad luck,” he grumbled, “I never have trouble sleeping.” He got to his feet and stretched his arms over his head. “Stay,” he told the cat before ascending the steps to the main deck.
The sunlight refracted across the rolling blue waves and Zoro lifted his arm to block the harsh light.
“Can you sing a sea shanty?” Luffy asked you.
“Can you write a song about me?” Usopp asked, looking hopeful. Zoro rolled his eyes...These kids.
Sanji said, “What about a love ballad?”
You crossed your arms and pressed your lips into a line. This silence didn’t deter them. The trio of Luffy, Sanji, and Usopp requested different songs simultaneously.
“Would you guys cut it out!” Nami yelled over them, “She already said she doesn’t want to!”
Zoro rested his wrist on Wado Ichimonji and decided he might as well ask the question that’s been eating at him since the night you met.
“Why do the waiters at your grandmother’s bar wear earplugs?” he asked.
Everyone fell silent. Their attention left Zoro and moved toward you, expecting and awaiting your answer. You narrowed your eyes slightly at him. The sails overhead ballooned with a fresh gust of wind and the ropes swung in the breeze casting shadows like long, wiggling snakes on the main deck.
You said, “You noticed that, huh?”
“It was hard to miss.” Zoro deadpanned.
Your smile tugged at your mouth. “And yet I recall having your complete attention.”
Zoro stepped forward. “That’s what I’m still trying to figure out,” he said, “so what’s your deal?”
You shrugged, graceful and casual, like you two were discussing sword forms and not the mystery of your grandmother’s bar.
“The bar gets rowdy,” you replied.
“That’s what I said,” Luffy said, his tone was bright.
The bar gets rowdy? Yeah, right. Zoro stared down at you. The sunlight burned radiance across the planes and slopes of your face. She’s lying. You had to be. Your explanation was lukewarm and it didn’t account for the strange, solitary sensations that consumed him during your performance. Your performance and the earplugs had to be related somehow. He just couldn’t figure out how.
Usopp glanced between you and Zoro.
“Come on, guys,” Usopp said, “let’s stay focused. We’re finding a mysterious lost treasure for someone.”
“I’ll make lunch,” Sanji suggested, before saying your name and adding, “I’d love your help in the kitchen.”
“No thanks. I’m gonna stretch my legs,” you announced and offered Usopp and Sanji a smile. “I’ve gotta get used to being out on the sea again.”
Zoro watched you walk to the other end of the ship. She’s not getting off that easily. He waited about three seconds before following after you.
“Hey,” he began, narrowing his eyes at your back. You sighed, leaning against the railing, but didn’t turn around to face him. “If you double cross our crew…”
You looked over your shoulder. “You’re gonna slice me in half?”
Zoro scoffed. “I was thinking in quarters.”
You turned to face him, though your elbows remained on the railing, your pose was relaxed and wholly nonthreatening. Zoro’s pulse throbbed in his neck.
“You have nothing to worry about, Roronoa Zoro.” The salty air played with the collar of your shirt and Zoro looked away, clenching his jaw. “This crew saved the golden cupid...and if we manage to find Pandora’s puzzle box...then there will always be a warm meal and a cold drink for you at Estella’s.”
He glanced at you from the corner of his eye. Maybe he was being paranoid after their run-in with the Black Cat pirates or their altercation with Arlo’s gang after Nami’s abrupt betrayal. He didn’t want to get double-crossed, although he couldn’t see the benefit of you – or the old hag – trying to betray them.
“Fine,” he said flatly.
Maybe now I can get some shut-eye…The thought reminded him of the cat, Mimi, stalking around in his room.
“By the way,” he said, “that cat is onboard.”
You laughed. “Oh, of course she is.” You shook your head, “I’ll let Sanji know. Maybe he can make her some tuna.”
“Feeding your cat isn’t part of this deal,” he grumbled, annoyed. First, the cat took over his nap spot and ruined his afternoon and now she’d eat some of their supplies? What sort of bullshit was this?
“One,” you said holding up a finger, “she’s Estella’s cat. Two.” You held up a second finger. “It’s not really up to you, is it? I think I’ll take it up with the chef and see what he says.”
Zoro didn’t have a good argument against you, so he settled on rolling his eyes and returning to his bunk to get some well-deserved rest before the Merry reached Raven’s Crag.
The dingy swayed as it pushed through the shallow waves and your stomach followed the roiling, uncertain motions of the waters below. Something didn’t feel right. You would normally chalk it up to your baseline paranoia around strangers—but...your unease went deeper. Maybe all the stories about Raven’s Crag were getting to you. Everyone on the island said Raven’s Crag was dangerous, some even went so far as to call it cursed. ‘That’s why no one lives there’, they’d say before ordering another drink from the bar. What if something happened to Estella back home? Was paranoia or intuition that twisted your stomach into sailor’s knots? You shook your head and tried to clear your mind. One thing at a time...
“There’s nothing to be nervous about,” Sanji said, sitting beside you and looking pointedly at your bouncing knee. “We’ll find it.”
“If it exists,” you said.
“Madame Estella seemed certain it was here,” he said.
“Yes.” You sighed. “Yes, I know.”
Estella left a rather important detail from her story when she told the Straw Hats about Pandora’s treasure. Over the past five years, it had been you who helped her to find and collect the other boxes. The jade box had been the first and the easiest. You used your devil fruit powers, beguiling the previous owner, and tricking him into giving it to Estella. The onyx box, however, was kept on a marine base within the evidence room under lock and key. You and Estella spent nine months on that island, working your way into the upper echelon of society until General Samuel Bellamy invited several wealthy citizens for brunch. You and Estella had barely made it out after accidentally triggering the alarm when removing Pandora’s box. The last box in her collection, the one made of lapis lazuli, had been underwater in a shipwreck.
Truly, it was a miracle that Estella knew about any of their locations, but that one was especially surprising. You were useless since the ocean sapped all of your strength, but Estella had smiled at you before diving into the waters. Your hands curled into fists on your lap. The current had been strong that day...a storm was on the horizon and the ocean was restless, hungry.
Sanji muttered your name. His gaze burned into your cheek.
“We made it,” Nami announced, shaking you from your reverie.
The tepid saltwater and sand rushed into your shoes and clung to your shins as you leaped from the dingy and helped push the boat onto the shore as best as you could. The palm trees rustled loudly overhead. Your foot snagged against the dry, powdery white sand.
“What’s—” Zoro began one hand on his sword hilt.
“Wait,” you said, snapping your attention from the boat’s edge in your hands and toward the beautiful blue sky. “That’s not—”
Your words were cut off as a hundred screeching calls filled the air and their enormous black wings flapped, upset the palm leaves, and stirred the dry brush at the beachhead. Roughly a dozen, giant ravens descended upon the crew, their beaks open wide to reveal rows of tiny teeth, and their eyes glossy and bright and murderous.
You reached for your kusarigama—a sickle attached to a metal chain with an iron weight at the end — attached to your hip. You hadn’t used the weapon since settling on Nightingale, but you practiced the motions and your continued diligence paid off as you slid into a stance and spun the end of the chain.
A raven opened its’ beak and lunged for Nami, and you launched the weighted end toward the raven. The chain spun around the raven’s beak, closing it, and you tugged—the metal biting into the flesh of your fingers—forcing the beast to bow its head. Nami’s staff cracked the side of the bird’s head and you tugged the chain free, pulling up the slack, after the creature dropped. You could hardly keep track of everyone’s movements through the chaos of undulating black wings and sharp, curved black beaks and curled talons.
Zoro’s sword flashed beneath the sunlight, blood, and dark feathers followed.
Your body ached, familiar with the movements ingrained into the grooves of your muscles, but unfamiliar with fighting things that fought back (your usual enemies were coconut trees and bamboo). You jumped backward through the powdery sand, avoiding a strike of dangerous talons, and you crashed into the hard and warm muscled plane of Zoro’s back.
“Watch where you’re going,” he growled before pivoting on his heel and using his sword to deflect the beak strike coming toward you.
“I was.”
“Didn’t look like it.”
“How” – your fingers tightened around the kusarigama’s grip– “do you manage to fight with that sword shoved so far up your—”
Luffy yelled, “Gum Gum Punch!” His fist launched through the air and landed squarely into the raven’s rib cage sending the bird sprawling into the sand.
“I had it!” You and Zoro shouted simultaneously at Luffy.
“Sorry,” Luffy said, smiling before he turned his attention to a different raven. “Hey, Sanji!” The captain called out to him, “Do you think we could eat these?”
“You’re seriously thinking about food at a time like this?” Nami asked.
You shook your head and were unable to ignore the smile tugging at your lips. This crew is so fucking weird, you thought with a foreign flutter of affection. You brought another raven to eye-level by trapping its beak with your chain and Sanji roundhouse kicked it, knocking your chain free, where it seemed to float in the air for a second before you yanked it back toward you.
The final two ravens squawked, and took flight in a blur of sand and wings, leaving their fallen on the beach scattered among the crew. You wrapped the chain, secured your kusarigama at your hip, and flexed your sore, unpracticed fingers. You scanned the beach and pointed at an outcropping of gray rocks.
“That’s the crag,” you said. You looked at their sweaty faces and bit your lip. “Estella could be wrong,” you warned, “the box might not be there.” She had never been wrong before, but they didn’t need to know that.
“We won’t know until we get there,” said Luffy, walking toward the crag. You wiped the sweat from your face and sighed. There is no swaying Luffy from his destined path, is there? You almost admired his bullheaded tenacity. Almost.
Your hands pulsed, your blood throbbing, your knuckles scraped raw, and nails blunted from climbing up onto the crag. You pulled yourself up the final ledge, each breath laborious, and laid yourself flat against the hot stone. Your salivating mouth tasted metallic and unpleasant. Sanji squatted next to you, and his shadow spilled across your face and blocked the sun.
“Here,” he said, offering you a small flask.
“Water or booze?” you asked.
His lips quirked. “Water.”
“Shame.”
You took a small sip of the water before holding it out to him.
Sanji lifted his hand. “Keep it.”
You raised an eyebrow and bit your tongue to stop yourself from questioning or quipping at him. You were starting to understand that Sanji enjoyed providing for others. He cooked because he believed no one should go hungry, but he also had a true and burning passion for it. He gave you water because you needed it. There was no ulterior motive. No secret to unravel. He was just providing for you as he would provide for anyone on the crew. Not that I’m part of this crew, but the sentiment still counts.
“Thanks,” you finally said, standing.
Luffy stood before the great, black maw of a cave’s entrance with his hands on his hips.
“This is the place, right?” he asked, looking over his shoulder toward you.
“I think so,” you said. In your experience, Pandora’s treasure box locations increased in difficulty over time: a marine base, a shipwreck, and now deep within a cavernous network. You looked at this crew of oddballs, at the scuffs, bruises, and blood they spilled fighting the ravens and climbing the cliffside. I can do it alone. The warm breeze kissed your skin and the bright blue ocean crested with tiny, white waves along the shore below. I’m the one who Estella trusts. They got me here, but they don’t need to see this through.
“We’ve made it this far together, but you can turn back now,” you said, “I don’t want anyone dying for this.”
Luffy frowned. “Only you?”
Your heart dropped. His stark, honest words had momentarily stunned you.
“What?” you breathed.
“Don’t be stupid,” Zoro muttered, “we just fought a bunch of demon birds. There’s no way we’re turning back now.”
“I think she’s got a point,” Usopp said, “one of us should really be waiting on the ship. I volunteer.”
“It’s dangerous,” Luffy continued as if the others hadn’t spoken, “so you’d rather go in there alone and die alone?”
“It’s a wild goose chase, Luffy.” You crossed your arms.
“It’s her dream!” he said, “don’t you have a dream you want to accomplish?”
“My dream is impossible.” You bristled. Your dream wasn’t a treasure hunt, nor was it to become the best of something or the queen of the pirates. Your dream was a fantasy you repeated to keep your nightmares quiet. Your dream would never see fruition. It just couldn’t.
“There’s no such thing,” Luffy said while approaching you. His hand lifted, palm dropping toward your shoulder, and you moved out of the way at the last second. Luffy stumbled at the sudden lack of counter-balance and you grimaced.
You said, “I don’t like being touched.”
Sanji tilted his head to the side.
“Oh, sorry.” Luffy’s tone was earnest. “Whatever your dream is, I think you should go after it.”
You squinted at him rather than answer his statement.
You said, “You’re coming, aren’t you?”
“Yup.” Luffy nodded.
“Me and Nami will guard the entrance in case any more of those birds come back,” Usopp held his slingshot aloft. “We’ll shout if anything happens.”
“Shout loud,” Zoro said as he passed Usopp and entered the cave.
The cave’s cool air was a blessing against your sweaty, sticky skin. You led the crew, even though you didn’t have a map or idea of where the box might be. Estella said ‘Trusting one’s self is the greatest gift’ and you didn’t know if that applied to treasure-hunting, but you decided there was no time like the present to try.
“These caves are odd,” Sanji said, gesturing to the glowing greenish crystals that were embedded into the dark rocks above. “I’ve never seen anything like it.”
“It’s something with the moon,” you said, watching your shadows play against the stone and crystal walls. “The full moon helps charge them...or so Estella says. She has a book about the caves on Nightingale Island.”
Zoro dug his fingers around one of the lower crystals, yanked it free and it continued to glow in his large hand. He swept his arm across the cavern floor, shining more light on the bits of rubble and dirt, but no treasure box lay waiting for you. His hair brightened beneath the crystals and gave it an almost illusory neon effect.
The cavern curved left, but remained a single, narrow pathway, without any divergences. As odd as that was, since caverns like these usually spilled like a network of threads, you were grateful. You didn’t want to add ‘getting lost in the crystal caves’ to your list of travesties.
“Where’d you learn to fight?” Luffy asked.
“Here and there,” you replied, “Estella needs me to protect her.”
“Did she teach you how to use that chain thing?” He mimed spinning it over his head, as you had done at one point during the battle like the chain was a lasso rope.
You laughed lightly.
“No,” you said, “we spent about nine months on this one island, seeking Pandora’s onyx box, and during that time I trained with a woman named Camilla.”
Luffy’s eyes lit up, emboldened by the viridescent glow of the crystals, and he said, “Cool!” His voice echoed strangely and you stopped suddenly.
“We’re close to something,” you said.
“How do you know?” asked Sanji.
“Our voices sound different here,” Zoro said, sounding bored.
“I wasn’t asking you,” Sanji said, rolling his eyes.
You peered through the muddled darkness tinted by a glowing light. Your heart skipped. Could Estella be right? Was the final box of Pandora’s treasure here? You quickened your pace and followed the path with one hand on your weapon. The crystals sparkled above and mirrored your reflections on their glossy, green surface.
The pathway opened into a cistern with tall glistening edges of slick cave walls, dripping and glowing crystal stalagmites, and shocks of white, thick spider webs running through gaps. Does something live here? You scanned the space.
“Holy shit,” you gasped. At the center of the room was a natural conglomeration of crystals and a bone-white puzzle box nestled at the center, glimmering like a beacon beneath the luminescent light.
You ran forward, kicking aside a bleached-white bone where it went clack-clack-clack into some rocks, and jostled loose golden berry lying around on the ground.
Something grumbled beneath you. No. That wasn’t right. The solid ground gave way, crumbling like a sandcastle devoured by the incoming tide, and your arms windmilled—your scream caught in your throat. The rocks beneath your feet fell to a nest of large, white ropes, and your body tensed—awaiting the inevitable crash and broken bones.
Luffy grabbed your wrist. He pitched into you, the ground unstable, and this time—your scream released—and gravity twisted your body so your spine was to the painful ground below.
“Luffy!” Zoro shouted.
Luffy stretched like saltwater taffy, he clung to your wrists, and both of you dangled above death trap of sharp rocks and rubble. Above, at the very ledge, Zoro’s muscles bulged as he held onto Luffy’s ankles. How is he holding both of us?!
“Climb up,” Luffy said, “climb over me like I’m a rope.” He smiled like this was an ordinary occurrence and you both weren’t a few hundred feet away from certain death.
“I’ll drop,” you said, “I’m closer to the ground. I’ll survive it.”
You glanced at your feet swinging through the empty, dark air. You actually couldn’t tell how close the ground was. The strange, white ropes glowed eerily beneath the muted crystal light, and pockets of it were disturbed and quivering from the fallen rocks. Is that--? Your brow furrowed.
“I can pull you both up,” Zoro announced, his face pinched tight with effort. “Just – just hold on.”
“I already am.” Luffy tightened his grip around your wrists and a wave of nausea coursed through you. Your skin prickled with a clammy, uncomfortable sensation. Breathe in through your nose and out through your mouth, you reminded yourself, using every ounce of self-control not to vomit.
Zoro pulled, grunting as he did, and Luffy’s legs disappeared over the ledge.
Although you couldn’t see Zoro, you heard him shout; “I don’t need your help, stupid cook!”
“I’m not trusting an idiot swordsman with her life,” Sanji yelled, “or with Luffy’s.”
You clenched your eyes shut, squeezing Luffy’s thin wrists, feeling his rapid pulse beneath your fingertips as your heartbeat rushed in your ears and your mouth filled with saliva.
Luffy said your name and your eyes re-opened, “I’m not going to drop you,” he said softly.
He said these words like a stalwart, unwavering promise. He said them in the same way he said ‘I’m going to be king of the pirates’ and despite your past, your ingrained paranoia, and your reasons to distrust him—you believed him, and something sharp prickled behind your eyes.
Luffy’s midsection was yanked over the ledge and Zoro finished pulling the both of you onto the overhanging ledge. As you brushed the cave dirt from your legs, Sanji hunched his shoulders and met your gaze.
“Are you alright?” he asked.
“Fine.” You looked toward the chasm that separated Pandora’s box from you. You hadn’t brought rope or grappling hooks and you were ill-prepared to vault or climb onto the other side. “How are we going to get over there?”
Zoro pointed and said, “Hug the wall and maneuver around the chasm.”
Your mouth opened to tell him about the risk, but a sudden scuttling noise drew everyone’s attention to the ceiling.
“My web caught a tasty treat,” it said before lowering itself, a web attached to the crystals hung from its spinnerets. The creature was a human from the waist up, her breasts pale and nippleless, and her straight, long, black hair framed her pale face and six, red slit eyes.
Sanji blanched.
“This is your cavern?” You said. You knew grabbing the box wouldn’t be easy, but a giant spider-woman was extreme.
“My cavern,” she said, tilting her head, “and my food.” She clicked the mandibles on the sides of her jaw.
“Luffy, can you reach the box?” You unclasped your kusarigama and extended the chain between your hands.
Luffy cracked his knuckles. “I want to fight this thing.”
“I’ll get the box,” Sanji said, “I don’t fight women.”
He inched closer to the walls which had narrow ledges to precariously climb across. Your heart fell into your shoes. Sanji...You recalled the smiling, overjoyed faces of the children from the orphanage after Sanji made them breakfast, his fond and thoughtful expression when he talked about Zeff, his kindness in the kitchen, and his concerned gaze when Zoro pulled you and Luffy from the ledge. You couldn’t let him risk his life for Estella’s dream. You couldn’t. He’s going to fall if he tries to get it.
Zoro scoffed. “She’s not a woman.”
“I am Arachne,” the creature said.
“Sanji, wait—” you said.
The Arachne swung from her webbing towards the group. A warm, large muscled body collided with yours, sending you sideways into rubble and rock. Your skin smarted and burned where it hit the stones and jagged crystals. You blinked, stunned, as your mind lagged to piece together the details.
Zoro rolled off of you, blade drawn, and jumped to his feet. He saved me? You understood his earlier rescue because Luffy had been involved. He wouldn’t let his captain die—he was protective of him, cared about him even. But saving you didn’t add up. It didn’t make sense. Pirates weren’t loyal to people who weren’t their crew. You shook your head. Roronoa Zoro had saved your life twice. You adjusted your grip on the hilt of your kusarigama.
Time to repay the favor, you thought before charging the Arachne. You slid on your knees, ignoring the pain as the tiny rocks dug into your skin, and ducked beneath the creature’s large, hairy legs. Your chain whipped out, wrapping one leg at the joint before you rolled out from beneath her and jerked the chain over your shoulder for leverage.
The Arachne screeched in indignation, wobbling, although she remained steady on her other legs.
“Hold it steady,” Zoro shouted as his sword flashed in a quick, upward arc as he ran beneath the tied-up leg.
You stumbled forward as the leg was dismembered from its body and flung off in another direction.
The Arachne hissed, scrambling up the wall, and toward the ceiling. You spun your kusarigama, feeling safer with the weight in your hands, and the glowing steel beneath the crystalline fragments.
“Hey!” Luffy yelled, “where are you going?”
You spared a glance to Sanji. He was about halfway, his arms spread akimbo, his back to the wall and his feet crossing carefully over the ridge.
Luffy’s hands shot toward the Arachne and grabbed its rear legs, pulling her back, and the Arachne fired several sticky ropes of webbing at Luffy. He jumped, dodging the first splatter of webbing with impressive speed, and used his momentum to launch himself toward the Arachne.
Luffy landed on her back. They were halfway up the wall, closer to the ceiling than the floor, and your palms dampened as your adrenaline transmuted to fear. What if he falls? You weren’t sure if his Gum-Gum powers made him invincible to gravity and you didn’t want to find out.
You shouted, “Luffy, be careful!”
It’s part human, you worried your lip between your teeth, by that logic, my devil fruit powers should work on it. However, Sanji, Luffy, and Zoro weren’t safe. They didn’t have earplugs or headphones. You couldn’t risk using your voice on the Arachne and hurting them and you didn’t want to distract Sanji from his treacherous and focused climb to Pandora’s box.
Luffy wrestled with the creature, his legs were wrapped around the Arachne’s torso, and his fists moved too fast for your eyes to follow.
Zoro snapped your name and followed with, “Give me a boost.” His eyes were above, focused on Luffy, his green hair hidden by a black bandanna.
“You can’t reach him,” you said, interlacing your fingers, lowering yourself into a crouch, and bracing your back against the cavern’s wall.
Zoro said nothing and smirked. He ran toward you, planting his foot in your cupped hands, before launching himself up towards Arachne and Luffy. His boot scuffed against the wall and he grabbed the hanging webbing that swung from the Arachne. The creature slid downward but remained on the vertical wall. Her balance was affected by Luffy’s attacks and the weight of Zoro on her ‘tail’.
His muscles strained as he climbed the web, shedding pieces of webbing that fell like strange, spindly fluffs of white.
Sanji called your name and you looked. He held the box above his head, victorious and smiling, and your heart swelled. All this trouble for such a small thing, you thought.
“That’s mine!” The Arachne hissed, her face gushed blood, and half of her eyes were swollen shut from Luffy’s onslaught.
She reared back, bucking Luffy from her, and scuttled downward carrying Zoro with her. Luffy landed as a heap of limbs next to you, but his head popped back up, a little dazed but otherwise okay.
The Arachne’s intention was clear. She meant to attack Sanji—to punish him for stealing. Well, you weren’t going to let that happen. You planted your feet, your eyes narrowed and focused on the angles, the speed of her long, spider-legs, and the shape of her long, pale neck.
Kusarigama flew from your hand, its’ sickle-side cut through the air, and the cold chain unraveled through your fingers. The sickle zipped past her head and you tugged the chain, quick and forced, and the blade reversed direction and its’ curved edge sliced clean through her neck. A second passed. The Arachne’s head seemed to float through the air as it was rendered from her body with an arching spray of crimson that appeared black in the verdant pale light of the cave.
Her head hit the ground with a soft and rolling ‘thump’.
“That went well,” you said, breaking the silence, and a hysteric smile threatened to take hold of your lips. None of the children are going to believe this.
“Do you think anyone will believe that we fought a giant spider-lady?” asked Luffy.
Sanji said, “It’s no less believable than defeating Arlong’s crew.”
Your eyebrows raised. “You beat Arlong?” You thought Usopp had been lying when he shared that story.
Zoro sheathed his sword. “It was easy.”
“We make a pretty good team, don’t we?” Luffy said before smiling, though you assumed the question was rhetorical and didn’t answer him. You nudged the Arachne’s head with your foot and it rolled off the ledge and into the darkness below. It was eerie how easily you slipped into this crew’s dynamic. You didn’t fit in with them—you didn’t, but you could. And that was the scary part. However, you wouldn’t entertain ideas or dreams of leaving Nightingale Island. Your place was next to Estella and your future and fate were tied to hers.
You owed her after everything she did for you, after everything you’ve gone through together. No matter how easy it was to fight alongside the Straw Hats—you had your place in this world and it wasn’t with these pirates.

Little moss and the Tiger
Part 2
A week had passed since that peculiar incident, and Sanji hadn't seen any signs of Zoro regressing since. The swordsman had returned to his usual gruff demeanor, as if the entire episode had been nothing but a fleeting dream. But Sanji knew the truth. He had caught glimpses of the plush tiger, Iger, peeking out from under Zoro's blankets.
The quiet nights on the Thousand Sunny had resumed, and Sanji had gone back to his solitary cookbook reading sessions, often with a plate of freshly baked cookies that he had made for the crew. But every time he saw Zoro, the chef couldn't help but think about the vulnerable side of the swordsman he had discovered. It was like knowing a secret that no one else knew, and it filled him with a strange mix of protectiveness and curiosity.
The first day on the island was a flurry of activity as the crew dispersed to gather supplies, restock, and enjoy the brief respite from the open sea. Sanji had decided to explore the local markets for any exotic ingredients that could spice up his recipes. The vibrant stalls filled with colorful fruits and spices were a delight to his eyes, but his mind kept wandering back to the quiet moments in the cabin with Zoro.
On the second day, Sanji woke up to the faint light of dawn filtering through the cabin's window. He was about to start his morning routine when he felt something warm and heavy pressed against his side. Turning his head, he was met with the sight of Zoro, fast asleep and cuddling Iger with one arm, while the other arm was thrown over Sanji.
Sanji froze, his heart racing. He didn't remember Zoro joining him in bed, but there was no mistaking the swordsman's presence. The warmth of Zoro's body and the steady rise and fall of his chest were too real to be a dream. Sanji felt a strange mix of confusion and concern. Why would Zoro seek comfort in his arms? He gently tried to disentangle himself, but Zoro's grip on his shirt tightened in his sleep.
With a sigh, Sanji decided it was better not to wake the swordsman. Carefully, he slid out from under the covers and stood up. Sanji gently tried to detach Zoro from his shirt. But instead of releasing him, Zoro's grip on Sanji's shirt tightened. The swordsman's eyes remained closed, but his breathing was even, indicating that he was still deeply asleep. Sanji chuckled to himself. It seemed that even in his sleep, Zoro knew where to find comfort. With a gentle shake of his head, he decided to let him be for now.
Carefully, Sanji lifted Zoro's arm and placed them around his neck, taking the plush tiger with him as he stood. Zoro's head lolled against his shoulder, and he let out a content sigh. Sanji felt his cheeks warm as he cradled the swordsman's sleepy form in his arms. "Guess I'm making breakfast with an extra guest today," he murmured to himself.
The kitchen was cool and quiet, the only sound was the faint hiss of the stove as it warmed up. Sanji gently lowered Zoro into one of the chairs at the kitchen table, tucking Iger into his lap. The plushie's eyes stared back at him, seemingly questioning the early morning disturbance. Zoro stirred, his eyes fluttering open to meet Sanji's gaze.
Sanji's cheeks grew warm as Zoro's hand tightened around his shirt. He cleared his throat and turned away to busy himself with the eggs and bacon. "You can stay here," he said, trying to keep his voice steady. "I'll make us some breakfast."
The swordsman nodded sleepily, his head still resting on Sanji's shoulder. "Mm, otay," he murmured, his eyes drifting shut again. Sanji took a deep breath, his heart racing. He hadn't expected to find Zoro like this again, so dependent and trusting. It was a side of him that was as surprising as it was heartwarming.
As the chef moved around the kitchen, he couldn't shake the feeling of responsibility that had settled over him. Twice now, Zoro had entrusted him with his most vulnerable moments—once when he lost Iger and now, allowing Sanji to hold him and comfort him in his sleep. It was a stark contrast to their usual banter-filled interactions, and it made Sanji realize that maybe, just maybe, their friendship ran deeper than he had thought.
Sanji cracked eggs into the sizzling pan, his mind racing with the implications of what he had witnessed. This softer, more childlike Zoro was a side that none of the Straw Hats had seen before. It was as if the fierce swordsman had two personalities: the one who fought fiercely and the one who sought solace in the form of a plush tiger named Iger. Sanji couldn't help but wonder what had triggered such a stark change in his demeanor.
As he flipped the eggs and stirred the bacon, he thought to himself, 'Well, at least with this version of Zoro, I don't have to worry about him cutting me down to size every five minutes.' Sanji chuckled to himself at the thought. The kitchen was unusually peaceful, with only the sounds of cooking to break the silence. He glanced over his shoulder at the sleepy swordsman, who had now transferred his grip from Sanji's shirt to Iger's fur. The plush tiger looked tightly held in Zoro's muscular arms, but the way Zoro held onto it spoke volumes about the comfort it brought him.
Sanji felt a gentle fondness for this side of Zoro. It was a stark contrast to the man who was always ready to argue and fight. Here was a person who, at his core, just needed a little comfort, a soft place to land when the world got too hard. It was a side of Zoro that was as surprising as it was heartwarming. The chef couldn't help but feel a sense of responsibility towards the swordsman. He knew that he was the only one who knew about Zoro's secret, and he vowed to keep it safe.
As they sat at the kitchen table, the scent of sizzling bacon and eggs filled the air, and Sanji watched as Zoro clutched Iger tightly as he rubbed the plush tiger on his face loving how soft the fur was against his face. The swordsman's eyes fluttered open, and he looked up at Sanji with a sleepy smile. "An...Anji," he murmured, rubbing his eye with the back of his free hand.
Sanji felt a warmth spread through his chest, his heart melting at the sound of Zoro's voice calling him 'Anji'. It was a rare moment of vulnerability from the usually stoic swordsman, and it made him feel like he had just been granted a precious treasure. He returned the smile and said, "It's okay, Zoro. I'm here."
With the breakfast almost ready, Sanji plated the food and set it in front of Zoro with a flourish. "Eat up, we've got a big day ahead!" he exclaimed, his voice filled with excitement. The smell of the perfectly cooked meal wafted through the kitchen, making even the stoic swordsman's stomach growl in anticipation. Zoro looked up at Sanji with bright eyes, his curiosity piqued. "What is its??" Zoro asked, his voice a mix of hope and skepticism.
Sanji couldn't help but grin at the question. "It's a surprise!" he said, his eyes sparkling with mischief.
"But Anji, I want to know!" Zoro whined, his voice high-pitched and filled with the excitement of a child eager for a birthday present.
Sanji chuckled, his hand firmly grasping Zoro's as they stepped off the Thousand Sunny and onto the sandy beach. "Patience, Zoro. It'll be worth the wait," he said with a knowing smile.
Zoro pouted, his lower lip sticking out in a way that made him look younger than ever. He clutched Iger tightly, Sanji couldn't help but find it adorable. "Come on," he said, giving Zoro's hand a gentle tug. "Let's go explore."
The island was a treasure trove of natural wonders and exotic foods, and Sanji was eager to introduce Zoro to the latter. They walked through the lush jungle, Zoro's eyes widening at every new sight and sound. Sanji felt like a proud parent, pointing out the various fruits and spices that grew in abundance around them. Each discovery brought a giggle from Zoro, his usual toughness replaced by a child-like wonder.
But as they ventured further into the marketplace, Sanji noticed some of the islanders casting strange, disapproving glances their way. Specifically, at Zoro. It was as if they could see the toddler-like vulnerability that the swordsman didn't normally show. Sanji's protective instincts kicked in, and he gave them a look that could cut through steel—a silent warning to tread lightly.
Zoro remained oblivious to the stares, his attention fully on the vibrant stalls of food that surrounded them. Each snack and ingredient was met with wide eyes and gasps of amazement, as if he were discovering gold. Sanji chuckled, his heart swelling with affection. It was a stark contrast to the stoic swordsman who could cut down a hundred men without breaking a sweat.
As they approached the toy store, Zoro's eyes lit up like the sun itself. He bounced slightly in place, gripping Sanji's hand tighter. "Is this where we're going, Anji?" he asked, his voice filled with hope. Sanji nodded, his smile widening. "Yeah, I thought you might like it."
Without warning, Zoro broke away from Sanji's grasp and bolted into the store, his legs moving faster than anyone would have thought possible for a man his size. The chef took off after him, his heart racing. He knew Zoro had a knack for getting lost, especially when something captured his interest. The colorful toys and trinkets blurred by as they weaved through the narrow aisles, the bell on the door chiming merrily in the background.
Sanji's eyes darted left and right, searching for any sign of the swordsman's distinctive green bandana or the plush tiger that was probably clutched in his arms. "Zoro, wait up!" he called out, his voice echoing off the shelves filled with plushies and wooden toys. The market was bustling, the locals moving about their morning routines with a sense of purpose that made the chef's heart pound with anxiety.
But then, a sweet scent wafted through the air, distracting him momentarily from his search. He looked up to see a stall with fresh strawberries, and his eyes landed on the vendor—a stunning strawberry-blonde woman with a smile that could brighten even the darkest of days. For a moment, his worries about Zoro faded into the background. Her beauty was like a beacon, drawing him in like a moth to a flame.
The woman caught his gaze and immediately sailed over, her eyes sparkling with mischief. "Looking for something, handsome?" she cooed, her voice a siren's call. Sanji felt a flush rise to his cheeks, and he couldn't help but be charmed by her flirtatious banter.
"Just looking," he replied, his eyes still locked on hers.
But as she came closer, she spoke again, her voice a sweet melody that seemed to resonate with something deep within him. "I think I have something of yours."
Sanji's heart skipped a beat as he saw Zoro standing by the stall, his hand clutching hers. The swordsman's eyes were wide with wonder, his usual stoic expression replaced with the excitement of a child in a candy store. The woman looked at Sanji, her smile warm and knowing. "You should keep an eye on this little one at all times," she said, her eyes twinkling. "I know how they can be in a toy store, this big."
Sanji's confusion grew as he watched the scene unfold. He had never seen Zoro act this way before—so carefree and open with a stranger. "Why do you call him 'little'?" he asked, his voice tinged with bewilderment.
The woman chuckled, her eyes twinkling with understanding. "It's a term of endearment for those who mentally regress to a younger state," she explained gently. "It's like calling a young child 'little one'. It's a way to show that we see and accept them for who they are in that moment, without judgment."
Sanji blinked, his mind racing to piece together the puzzle. "So... you know someone who does this too?"
The vendor's smile softened, and she nodded. "Yes, it's more common than you might think. Some folks just need to escape to a simpler time, you know? It's a way to cope with the world around them. I noticed the way he was holding onto that tiger friend of his, and how lost he looked when he was by himself."
Sanji felt his chest tighten as he thought about the fear that had gripped Zoro when Iger had gone missing. It was clear that the swordsman's reliance on the plushie was more than just a simple comfort item. "What...what happens when they...regress?" he asked, his voice low and hesitant.
The strawberry-blonde vendor's eyes softened, and she crouched down to be at eye level with Sanji. "When someone regresses, they return to a mental state that's more like a child's—usually to cope with stress or fear. It's nothing to be scared of, it's just another part of them."
Sanji looked over at Zoro, who was now eagerly examining the toys on the shelves, his eyes sparkling with excitement. He felt a pang of guilt for not understanding his friend's needs sooner.
"Anji looks at dis!" Zoro called out, his voice echoing through the market stalls. He dashed back over to Sanji, holding up a plush turtle with a wide, goofy smile on its face. It was almost the same size as Iger but with a different type of fur. Sanji's eyes grew wide with astonishment as he took in the sight of Zoro, his tough exterior nowhere to be seen
The vendor chuckled and gave Sanji a knowing wink. "Looks like your little pirate has found a new friend," she said, her eyes sparkling with amusement. Sanji couldn't help but laugh as he took the turtle from Zoro and examined it. It was definitely an odd choice, but he had to admit it was kind of adorable.
"Thank you for looking out for him," Sanji said sincerely.
The lady giggled, patting Zoro on the head before walking away. "He's quite the handful, isn't he?" she said with a knowing look. "But it's clear he's got a good friend in you."
Sanji's cheeks burned as he watched her go. He had never felt so out of his depth before, but there was something about the way she talked about Zoro that made his heart swell with pride. "Come on, Zoro," he said, taking the plush turtle and placing it into Zoro's arms. "Let's go look at the rest of the store."
Zoro nodded, his eyes never leaving the plushie. He named it 'urtle' without a moment's hesitation, his voice filled with the same excitement he had for Iger. Sanji couldn't help but feel a sense of pride at the swordsman's choice.
They continued through the aisles, Zoro's eyes lighting up with every new plushie he saw. Finally, he stopped in front of two others that caught his eye: a monkey with a mischievous grin and a yellowish ram . Sanji watched as Zoro's thumb traced over the monkey's hat, a soft smile playing on his lips. "Can I get these, Anji?" he asked, holding up the monkey.
Sanji nodded, his heart swelling. "Of course, you can pick two more." He watched as Zoro carefully considered each one, his expression so earnest it was impossible not to be moved. He finally chose the monkey and the ram, clutching them tightly to his chest. "This one's like captain," he said, pointing to the monkey, "and I'll name him Uffy." The way he said the name was almost reverential, and Sanji couldn't help but smile. "And this one," Zoro said, holding up the ram, "dis you, Anji. He named Ji."
Sanji felt a warmth spread through his chest, and he swore his heart had just melted a little. "Ji?" he questioned, raising an eyebrow.
"Mm-hmm," Zoro nodded, a childish smile playing on his lips. "Like you, Anji."
Sanji's heart did a little somersault at the comparison. He ruffled Zoro's hair playfully. "Well, I'm flattered," he said, trying to keep his voice light despite the emotions swirling inside him. "But let's not forget about Luffy," he added, gesturing to the monkey plushie.
Zoro nodded solemnly, his eyes lighting up. "Yes, Captain Uffy!" He hugged the plush monkey tightly, and for a moment, Sanji saw a glimpse of the fierce loyalty the swordsman had for their captain reflected in the plush toy's mischievous smile.
As they approached the checkout, Sanji couldn't help but think about what the vendor had said. He had noticed the way Zoro's eyes had lit up when she talked about the toys, and it dawned on him that this was something Zoro truly enjoyed—something that brought him comfort and happiness. It was a side of him that no one else on the ship knew about, and it made Sanji feel special to be a part of it.
"Alright, Zoro," he said, his voice gentle. "You can pick out one toy, okay?"
Zoro's eyes darted around the store, taking in all the colorful options. He clutched Turtle, Uffy, and Ji tightly to his chest as he approached the checkout. After a moment of intense deliberation, he pointed to a wooden sword with a gleaming silver handle. "This one, Anji!"
Sanji nodded with a smile as he chuckled thinking 'Of course he's going to choose a sword'. As he said "Good choice." He noticed Zoro's eyes lingering on a display of chew necklaces nearby. The necklaces were designed to look like pirate treasures, complete with beads shaped like gold coins and shiny gems.
Without a word, Sanji picked up one of the necklaces and draped it around Zoro's neck. The swordsman looked down at it, his eyes widening in surprise before a smile spread across his face. He took the wooden sword in one hand and began to chew on one of the beads, the plastic giving way easily under his teeth. Sanji watched, his mind racing with thoughts.
He knew that oral fixations weren't just for kids—adults had them too. It was a way to find comfort, especially in stressful or overwhelming situations. And if Zoro was going to regress to a toddler-like state, then a chew necklace was probably a good idea. Plus, it kept him from gnawing on his own fingers, which was a plus in Sanji's book.
As they left the toy store, the sounds of laughter and chatter filled the marketplace. Sanji couldn't help but feel a sense of pride as he watched Zoro run along by his side, clutching his new plushies and swinging his wooden sword. The swordsman looked so at ease, so... happy. It was a stark contrast to the tough exterior he usually wore like armor.
They made their way back to the Thousand Sunny, and as they approached, Zoro's eyes grew wide with excitement. "Anji, can we play now?" he asked, his voice filled with the same enthusiasm he had when they first boarded the ship. Sanji couldn't help but chuckle.
"Sure, Zoro," he said, his voice gentle. "But let's get you dressed properly first." He took the wooden sword from Zoro's hand and led him back to their cabin. Zoro didn't protest, his eyes glued to the plush monkey he had named Uffy. Sanji knew that the swordsman's love for their captain was unmatched, and the fact that he had chosen to name his new toy after Luffy was a testament to their friendship.
Once in the cabin, Sanji helped Zoro into a more comfy outfit that consists of one of franky's shirt and some shorts, which now looked comically large on him. Zoro held onto his plushies tightly, his eyes shining with excitement. "Okay, now let's go find Luffy," Sanji said, trying to keep his voice light. He knew that the captain would likely be as surprised as sanji was when he frist saw Zoro in this state, but he also knew that Luffy had a way of making people feel at ease, no matter how odd the situation.
They climbed the stairs to the upper deck, and as they emerged into the sunlight, Zoro spotted Luffy lounging in the shade of the mast, a straw hat covering his eyes. "Capain!" Zoro squealed, bolting over to him with the speed of a charging bull. Luffy looked up, startled, as the swordsman skidded to a stop in front of him, his plushies bobbing in his arms.
Luffy blinked, pushing his hat up to get a better look at Zoro. His expression shifted from surprise to understanding in a heartbeat. "Hey zoro who's your friends there?" Luffy asked, taking about Zoro's stuffed animal's.
"These are Iger, urtle, Uffy, and Ji," Zoro replied, holding them out proudly for inspection. Luffy's eyes looked at zoro with tenderness as he took in the scene before him. He had heard of age regression before—how sometimes, in moments of stress or fear, people could mentally return to a younger, more vulnerable state. It wasn't something he had ever seen in his own crew, but he knew that everyone had their quirks. "They're all yours, huh?" he said, his voice filled with gentle curiosity.
Zoro nodded emphatically, clutching the plushies tighter. "Iger's my favorite, but Uffy is like you," he said, holding up the monkey for Luffy to see. "And urtle and Ji are my new friends!" He looked at Luffy with such innocent excitement that it was impossible not to be charmed.
Luffy's shock melted into a warm smile. He took the plush monkey from Zoro's arms, holding it up to examine it. "You got good taste, Zoro," he said, chuckling. "But what's this one's name?" He pointed at the yellow ram.
Zoro's smiled "His name's Ji!" He shouts.
Luffy's eyes widened, and then he broke into a hearty laugh. "Ji, huh?" He teases playfully. "Looks like you've got a little fan, Sanji!"
Sanji rolled his eyes but couldn't help the smile that tugged at the corners of his mouth. He knew Luffy was just teasing, but it was clear that the captain had noticed the bond between him and Zoro. It was a bond that had grown stronger in the past week, as they had navigated the uncharted waters of Zoro's vulnerability together.
The swordsman turned to look up at Sanji with a yawn, his arms still wrapped tightly around his new plushies. "Can we go to bed now, Anji?" he asked, his voice small and tired.
Sanji's heart swelled with affection, and without missing a beat, he scooped Zoro up into his arms. Zoro's eyes grew wide with surprise before he melted into the chef's embrace, his plushies piled on top of him. "Of course, we can," Sanji said, his voice soothing. "Let's get you to bed."
As they made their way below deck, the rest of the crew looked on in confusion, some even whispering among themselves. Sanji ignored them, his focus solely on Zoro. They reached their cabin, and Sanji gently laid Zoro on his bed, tucking the plushies in around him. Zoro clutched them tightly, his eyes already drooping with sleep. Sanji couldn't help but feel a sense of protectiveness wash over him, seeing the usually tough swordsman in such a vulnerable state.
"Sanji," Luffy called out, his voice filled with a rare seriousness. The chef looked over his shoulder to find the captain standing in the doorway, his gaze thoughtful. "You're really good at this, you know?"
Sanji blinked, not quite understanding what Luffy meant. "Good at what?" he asked, tucking the last corner of Zoro's blanket around him.
"At taking care of people," Luffy said, his voice earnest. "You've always looked out for us, but with Zoro, it's like you've got a sixth sense or something. It's like you know exactly what he needs."
Sanji felt his cheeks warm under the captain's praise. "It's not that big of a deal," he mumbled, trying to play it cool. "Anyone can do the same," Sanji says to Luffy as he leaves.
Luffy's words lingered in his mind as he tucked Zoro in. The swordsman looked so peaceful, so trusting. It was like a weight had been lifted off Sanji's shoulders just knowing he could be there for him in this way. He realized that maybe, just maybe, this was why he had been so drawn to Zoro's vulnerability. It reminded him of the childhood he never had—of the love and protection he had always craved from a big brother or a father.
Growing up in the Vinsmoke family, Sanji had been surrounded by expectations and pressure to be something he wasn't. He had longed for a gentle touch, a kind word, a simple act of care that didn't come with a price tag or a demand for perfection. And in caring for Zoro, he had found a way to give that love—to be the person he had always needed. It was as if, by being there for his friend, he was also filling a void within himself.

One Piece fragrance/scent headcanons
Including: Luffy, Zoro, Sanji, Usop, Law, Kid, Killer, Ace, Smoker, Doflamingo, Corazon, Shanks, Mihawk, Sir Crocodile, Buggy, Katakuri, Bartolomeo.
Author's Note: taking a small break from matchups to post those headcanons. I'm a perfume enthusiast and this post is very dear to me. In case you need to get a better idea of the examples, I recommend using the site fragrantica to see all the notes of each perfume. WARNING: Long post.
Monkey D Luffy
He doesn't really bother with perfume but he notices Sanji's and he likes the idea. However, Luffy would go for something that resembles some food, of course, something sweet. Gourmand perfumes work the best for him and for how affectionate he is towards everyone.
Examples:
- Milk by Commodity - The name says it all. It smells like sweet milk with an aromatic and ambery base to make it a bit more than just straight-up milk.
Roronoa Zoro
He doesn't really like the feeling of perfume on his skin when he's training or fighting. However, if he has to choose ( because Sanji told him he stinks), he'll go for something fresh, or something that grounds him that anchors him in a memory that motivates him.
Examples:
-Bleu de chanel - Fresh and woody, simple as that, great for training and slicing up some bad guys.
-Matcha Meditation by Maison Margiela OR Blue Tea by The Merchant of Venice - Those smell like a fresh blend of green tea, something that brings him a memory of his past training.
Vinsmoke Sanji
Of course, he wants to smell good, he says that perfume is a part of an outfit. Goes for attention-grabbing perfumes. However, he only puts on perfume after cooking! He needs to smell the food without any other olfactive distractions. He takes a little pride in how good he smells and he should. Also, he's the one to really pronounce the names with the right accent (If the perfumes are French).
Examples:
- Le Male by Jean Paul Gaultier - This one is popular for a reason. It's both sweet, warm and also aromatic and fresh. Plus that lavender note makes you even more drawn to the comfort of his embrace.
- Sauvage by Dior (I know everyone is tired of this one but you have to admit it smells good) - A bit more mature and serious than the first one. It's elegant with bergamot, pepper, wood, and of course, that lavender again so you won't forget his embrace.
Usopp
He wants to smell all cool and great. Can you blame him? Absolutely not. He's going to ask Nami for a recommendation.
Examples:
- Gucci Guilty pour homme - This one is edgy and unique. It's both soft from rose, orange blossom and daring from red chili pepper, salt, and cedar. He gets creative when wearing this one.
- Invictus by Paco Rabane - The name and the bottle won him. Luckily, he likes how it smells. It's much simpler than the other one. It smells fresh, marine, woody, salty.
Trafalgar D Water Law
Not a big fan of fragrances on him, much like Zoro. He thinks it's distracting because of how some smells can evoke memories and feelings. So he'll only wear a basic, masculine scent with nothing striking as unique. He just smells clean, fresh, aquatic.
Examples:
- Kenzo Pour Homme by Kenzo - Sea Water, some white florals, and then musk and vetiver. It is both clean and comforting.
- When The Rain Stops by Maison Margiela - Pretty self-explanatory, it smells like morning rain in a foggy forest. It has pink pepper in the beginning to give some spice to that, it can't be just a perfume that simple though.
Eustass Kid
Here's an interesting scent. Kid's scent usually consists of metal from his prosthetic and from fixing things in his workshop plus something fresh and spicy.
Examples:
- Luna Rossa Carbon by Prada - It's fresh enough to keep him going, metallic, and somehow spicy from the pepper. An edgy perfume. He doesn't care if others like it or not.
- La Vierge De Fer by Serge Lutens - This one is also metallic but slightly more softer because of some white florals. He might wear this when he feels a little more at ease.
Killer
He doesn't go for a bold perfume but he truly wants something unique. He's a man of action so he'll want something that will persist and will be close to his skin.
Examples:
- Phantom by Paco Rabbane - A unique creamy lavender with energizing lemon and hot woody vanilla. Simple notes that become more complex in this combination.
- Most Wanted by Azzaro - Kid got this one only because he liked how the bottle looked but he thought it was too sweet for him. He ended up passing it to Killer who liked it more.
Portgas D Ace
You already know this man smells like fire, spice, and sweetness. Besides, his skin often smells like the sun during summer, like a sunny day on the beach, I don't know how to explain it. However, someone has to teach this man how not all perfumes are all season.
Examples:
- By the fireplace by Maison Margiela - sweet and smokey. It smells like cuddling with someone right next to the fireplace, and that's how it feels when you hug him.
- Under the stars by Maison Margiela - less sweet. Leather, fresh spicy, ambery.
Smoker
He thinks he should smell like something else besides smoke from time to time. Smoker likes to have his coat smell good and he likes to put on perfume right after a shower. He goes for clean masculine fragrances but with a twist.
Examples:
- Blue Moon by Killian (God damn this one is so hot I can't) - fresh citrus, spicy ginger with vodka and musk for a clean dry down.
- Cool Water by Davidoff - It smells like sea water, fresh mint, tobacco of course, and musk again.
Doflamingo Donquixote
Of course, this devil of a man wants to smell expensive and most of all seductive. He's picky with his fragrance. Doesn't get the notion of perfume for different seasons, he'll straight up wear a heavy, sweet, scent even during summer. He doesn't care. He might have a preference for catchy names.
Examples:
- Fucking Fabulous by Tom Ford - This one is sharply aromatic at first and then gets to a seductive vanilla with leather and bitter almonds. Might be smooth and pleasing to some while headache-inducing to others.
- One Milion by Tom Ford - This one fills the room, exactly how he wants. It's a bit aggressive because of the white flowers, salt, leather, and pine. Sweet but sharp.
Rosiante Donquixote (Corazon)
He tends to go for sweeter perfumes as he wants to balance out the cigarette smell that clings to him that might be repulsive to some (not me honey). However, he wants that perfume to be a subtle one that almost gets noticed, he's in disguise after all.
Examples:
-Tobacco Vanille by Tom Ford - he had to go for the same designer as his brother so as not to seem suspicious. It's simply a warm vanilla smell with notes of tobacco.
- Smoking Hot by Killian - Another smokey and sweet perfume but more complex. Its sweetness comes from fruits this time and it's accompanied by spicy cinnamon.
(also, the name is way too fitting)
Shanks
Everyone who knows Shanks will say that this man smells so damn inviting and warm. He wears something slightly sweet, just slightly, because he feels the most comfortable. Plus, of course, something boozy.
Examples:
- Angel's Share by Killian - It smells like his cognac, cinnamon, and oak, plus mouth-watering praline and vanilla. No one can resist this one
- Stronger with you by Giorgio Armani - It's like a warm hug that might turn into something more. It's warm, spicy, and sweet.
Dracule Mihawk
An elegant man with a unique taste in clothes, drinks, books, and weapons surely has a unique preference for perfumes as well. He uses something that would go along with his whole aesthetic. He leans more to floral and slightly boozy (wine) notes.
Examples:
-Bloody Wood by Liquides Imaginere - Another self-explanatory one. This is how a vampire would smell, mysterious and romantic. It has red wine, rose and violets, and sandalwood. It's so incredibly enigmatic.
- Side Effect by Initio - This one is heavy. Masculine spicy vanilla with saffron, rum, and jasmine for elegance.
Sir Crocodile
Another fine man with fine taste. Be sure that he's educated in perfumery as well. He has perfumes for different occasions. He might be the one out of all that smells the best. He likes intoxicating perfumes that aren't nauseating but plain seductive.
Examples:
- Herod by Parfums de Marly - This one smells like old money. Warm spicy cinnamon, tobacco, incense, and vanilla. Pretty heavy but so good.
- Black Orchid by Tom Ford - A truly alluring and mysterious smell. It's still warm and also earthy and woody.
Buggy
He likes to smell risky, let's say. Both are risky and alluring. He likes a tricky perfume that is sharp in the beginning and more alluring in time.
Examples:
- Ultraviolet by Paco Rabane, for men - It's an unusual mix of scents. It starts somehow fresh and aromatic from mint and then it gets spicy from pepper and in the end, you get seductive vanilla with moss. This one is clearly not for everyone but anyone can agree that it smells unique.
- Toy Boy by Moschino - This one is also a confusing scent because it starts musky and floral and then it goes into spicy wood and citrus. Definitely not everyone's cup of tea.
Charlotte Katakuri
To put it simple, all of his scent is concentrated on his scarf. It smells like clean musk because he often cleans it and the sugary sweetness from all those donuts he eats. It's a nice smell but a bit nauseating.
Examples:
- Vanille Fatale by Tom Ford - Sweetness with some wood in there to balance it out in case you get too close for comfort.
- Vanilla Sex by Tom Ford - Straight up smelling like a sweet spicy snack that you can't get enough of.

Bartolomeo
He'll try to find out what each Strawhat perfume is wearing or at least copy that scent. But he only picks up those he likes. Jokes aside, he kind of likes smelling overpowering when he gets ready for a fight and warm, and sweet when being around dear ones he admires.
Examples:
- Allure Homme Sport by Chanel - for when he feels bold and ready to fight. Mandarin, mint, pepper, and in the end victorious sandalwood, cedar, musk.
- Black Phantom by Killian - For when he meets his dear ones, to be perceived as pleasant, and friendly. It's sweet but dark chocolate sweet with a bit of rum and coffee, almonds, and vetiver to balance everything.
