I think what amazes me about the animation in arcane is how HUMAN the characters look. Especially their skin, you can see the pores, the lines, all the "imperfections" which are typically covered by makeup in real life, photographed to not appear as such, or is simply neglected in animation in favour of ease.
At first, I thought it was weird. Never seen it before, right? But as time went out it grew to be one of my favourite things about the show. The animation in general is phenomenal, but the way you can see that exhaustion, contempt, surprise or rage or WHATEVER on those painfully human features, just like us, always like us, gets me more than anything else.

Love that Oppenheimer is a deeply disturbing horror movie about a man forced to accept that he is, in a person, the representative manifestation of mankind’s evil in committing one of the greatest horrors of human history - LITERALLY acting as the modern Prometheus, tormented by his sins for the remainder of time. Knowing that he will never be pitied and his actions will forever be utterly unforgivable because the blood of genocide and the potential of total human annihilation will eternally drip from his hands.
But also the simultaneous indictment by the film that to blame a single person for the Manhattan Project is to refuse to accept your own capacity for great evil if the ends ever seem to justify the means, and the culpability of every member of a species that lets itself create something so unspeakably terrible.
Hate that twitter’s take on such a nuanced and brilliantly handled examination of those issues is “movie bad because protagonist not evil enough.”

Hey I know the common representation of monster-y post apocalypse Jon is him having lots of extra eyes but. Consider.
After the sky splits open, Jon doesn't have physical eyes anymore. He doesn't needs them. His Eyes are the Watcher's, and they See all from where they stand at the top of the Panopticon.

i understand the need to take breaks and pace yourself so you aren't overwhelmed. it's important to take care of yourself so you can keep going in the good fight. i myself usually catch up on news about once a day when i feel equipped for it. that said:
you're just going to ignore palestine for the next three months?
account settings literally already has what youre looking for so if you're set on doing this just use this feature and don't complain to other people about the fact that theyre keeping their eyes on palestine
