Jazz & Danny would also care about eachother and try to keep in contact. Tucker would try to figure out runes and stuff to get tech working in magical areas. Sam definitely will love botanist and general nature stuff. Danny would have ice as a secondary from necromancy and maybe be good at electric stuff too. Danny would also exceed in any astronomy courses if they have any there.

Danny will probably save 1 of his 2 names for certain people who are close to him to call him (I don't know which he'd save for his nickname of his 2 names. Danny or Corvus.) Danny could also gain some other cool titles. Other than little badger (if in hufflepuff he will gain a honebadger friend for a mascot that he'll sic on Vlad), little crow(He'd definitely make The Crow references once he sees the movie), the name of a constellation that has a meaning of guardian behind it but sounds icy (artic something), and Phantom would be something ghosts and other spirits would begin to refer to him by.

Also if Danny's rogues and such other people cross from his part of the universe combo then it'd be interesting to see how they're adapted into the story, lore, and world building. Like, Danny passed off a lot of ghosts by just existing and trying to protect his town. He's gonna have a poacher after him(skulker)he could be a witchuntee that has some magic or uses magic knowledge so He's magic or a squib, the ghost warden is a corrupt official with a small army of prision security guards, Aragon will be a b*tch n' a half to deal with, there will definitely be advocacy group stuff from the ghost trio for helping the yeti and addressing the magic racism, Pharaoh Dark is AT LEAST 10× the dark lord Voldenort wishes he could be, that weather God ghost, etc.

If wanted There could be a way that Danny somehow gets in an accident and he didn't come out of it right. Not quite dead but not quite alive. So many ways an accident can come about in a magical world, especially if include technology. Like maybe some magic mixed with some of the Fenton's experimental reasuch in some of the other areas of the occult that they would be interested in branching out to and it could have happened on a vacation from Hogwarts. Or the accident could happen in the magical world. From fooling around or a consequence of a fight gone wrong.

Regardless, if he becomes a half-dead in this au he'd have issues with his magic and he'd have to toe around and be extremely cautious in the magical world ON TOP of secrecy for the non-magical. Malfory will become feral with protective Ness and wouldn't let Voldemort near Danny if ge can help it. He and Jazz may become beasties of opposing worlds.

Team phantom may up the golden trio in popularity and stuff depending how many people notice and treat them of their feats and how much they can keep secret. If trying to mesh the Phantom timeline into the au they'd definitely beat out golden trio by a large margin just by the sheer amount of bullsh*t they get up to and deal with.

All depends on how agnsty people want to make thos au.

Also I keep thinking of that 1 magnificent Crossover of dp/hp that Danny purposfully got kicked out or excluded from magic schools and was essentially kidnapped to Hogwarts. He was still phantom and became a hufflepuff and the chaos he brought was magnificent. LONG LIVE LORD RANDALL!! In your face Bumbledore!!

Okay so I don’t know why I need this but I do and have been thinking about it a lot.

There aren’t that many fics where Draco and Danny are brothers but I am so here for it. Hear me out. Not twins per say , a couple years apart and Danny is most likely younger. Listen…

Danny stolen as a baby, hired by someone who lost much in the war and wanted to give the Malfoy’s what they ‘deserved’. As a way to teach then a lesson the hired kidnapper decides to leave them with muggles, but not just any muggles, witch hunters. That’s right, the Fentons continue their ancestors work of hunting the supernatural, specifically witches.

Due to some spell or artifact, Danny is unable to be tracked and the Malfoy’s are forced to believe their second son is dead. It isn’t until their son’s name is written on the envelope for his Hogwarts letter because magic. Danny is eleven and Draco is in his fourth year.

The Malfoy parents, Severus Snape who is also the boy’s godfather, and a Ministry official all go to the address on the letter and find the Fenton’s. As a whole they are not impressed with the Fenton parents or their eccentricities.

They establish they are there to talk about the boy that lives there and the Fentons are confused but sure “oh you mean our son Danny!” Both of the Malfoy’s and Snape sneer at the plebeian name which of course the Fentons don’t notice.

They call him down and Danny slows to a stop as soon as he looks over the ‘guests’. Because yes he’s made friends with the local clockmaker who is kind of a grandfather to him and is a squib. He confined in the older man about the weird things that happen around him sometimes and Clocky has answers and explains about magic. Danny knows that these people are wizards and witches. Was this about his Hogwarts letter Clocky told him he should be getting? Do they know what his parents do for a living?

Narcissa and Lucius on the other hand are staring at this boy in recognition. The coal colored hair and jawline were unmistakably from the Black side of the family. The straight nose and body shape however came from the Malfoy side. A perfect mix of both parents.

Introductions are made and they can see the understanding in the boy’s eyes when Snape says he’s the potions master at Hogwarts. The Fentons don’t catch it, but they were studying the boy with hawk-like attention.

“Potions?” The large Fenton asks suspiciously.

Before they can start explaining why they were really here, the boy, their boy speaks up nervously.

“He means chemistry! They call it differently because Hogwarts is a special school,” he lies without remorse.

Yes, this was their son.

“Special school? Like for gifted students?” The woman Fenton clarifies.

Danny glances at them anxiously.

“Yea! Like that.”

The parents don’t ask him how he knows about Hogwarts even though this should be his first time hearing of it. Instead the woman turns to them in confusion.

“Then why did you ask for Danny? Did you mean our daughter?”

“Oh! Jazzy-pants is super smart, already reading college books I tell ya!”

They don’t notice Danny’s face crumble and his confidence wither right in front of them. Narcissa wanted to tear these people apart for being responsible for the bright light in his gorgeous crystal blue eyes dimming in self-doubt.

“Actually, it is different than you are thinking, we are wi-“

“Mom, Dad, did you tell them what you do?” Danny interrupts urgently.

“Young man-“ the Ministry official continues.

“That’s a great idea, Dann-o!”

Which leads to explaining they are witch hunters and they all just stand there processing what they were just told and figuring out how to go about this. And they look at Danny who gives them a ‘see?’ look that explains the interruptions. He was protecting them.

Oh he was definitely their son.

Danny eventually goes with them because duh and he finds out the name he was born with.

“Corvus? Like the constellation? The crow?”

Narcissa is so proud of her son, he already knows the stars and the story to his name.

There are some bumps in the road with Draco and him getting along, and yelling at Lucius for mistreating the elves because they have feelings too, and adjusting to wizarding life in general.

Danny (Corvus) mets Tucker, a squib who was kinda in the same boat as him with learning this whole world, and Sam, a pure blood witch who’s parents were both Hufflepuffs but her grandmother is a seer and she might have inherited that gift.

Danny on the other hand seems to have gotten a gift from his mother’s side as well. Necromancy. Thus starts their adventures of skirting around the professors to learn magic for each of them that are not encouraged. Danny with necromancy, Sam with her seer abilities, and Tucker finds an interest in runes and arithmacy.

Don’t know about an actual plot but I think the idea could have potential. It’d also be funny if all three of them get sorted together in either Slytherin or Hufflepuff. And Draco trying to be a good brother, has warned him about a bunch of things before going to Hogwarts, one of them being Harry Potter and the golden trio. The first time Danny and his friends meet the golden trio, Ron makes a comment about him whether it’s about him being another snake or another Malfoy. Danny just blinks and they just look at each other.

“My brother was right about you. You guys are bullies.” And walks passed them, Sam shoulder-checks him and Tucker gives them the stank eye.

“WHAT”

Draco just being fiercely protective of his little brother he thought was dead. Danny being the baby of the family and the parents actually trying to do better to make him happy.

I just really enjoy this for some reason.

ohhh you guys are reading bsd without suspending your disbelief. you guys are expecting to get a clear cut perfectly understandable scientific explanation for something that can't actually happen in the real world, and then you're upset when you don't get it. you're forgetting that bsd has always had fantastical elements in it and it is not meant to be a 1:1 replication of Our World. you don't have to know and understand every single scientific concept being talked about in the recent chapters; you just have to be able to get the general idea and realize that this isn't the real world, so it won't make sense by the standards of our reality. then maybe you can stop whining about how nonsensical all the dialogue is and start appreciating the story itself

Ough. I think that New Age AU Nightmare should accidentally unite rival kingdoms. Usher in a new era of peace style.

Like. It's my au so I can do as I please, but I REALLY like the idea that Reaper is the first adult (besides his Knights) who really takes Night seriously.

Reaper only knows him as the Teen King, but he'd heard rumors of the usurping before and chose actively not to mess with Night, assuming he was a loose cannon and might declare war. He *did* inherit a huge army, after all. So when Reaper asked for the treaty, he was pleasantly surprised to hear Night was open to the idea. They talked through letters for almost a year before anything went through, and Night was always well-spoken and blunt about his beliefs and what he wanted, but also didn't skimp on the thinly veiled threats.

Reaper was impressed, and had a deep respect.

And then he arrived, and Nightmare was like, fourteen. And of course, he didn't say anything, but he payed close attention, and Night spoke the same way he wrote. It was definitely him. So... Reaper just rolled with it. And was proven so so correct for doing it. Because Night far exceeded the accomplishments Reaper had been expecting, and cherry on top, Night had Geno's little brother. The entire point of getting the treaty.

Of course, Nightmare would be a powerful enemy to make, so the treaty went through, but it worked great because it seemed Error would be staying, and visits would have to be arranged.

So. My point here. I think Reaper is someone who's willing to talk to Nightmare as a friend, and commiserate over ruling, share news, strategies, and just have general talks that Night enjoys.

Along with that, I think that anytime there's a big event where the royals of different kingdoms meet up (think Galas or political hearings) Reaper acts as Night's entry into the world of the royals. Reaper's been alive for longer than most current rulers could even remember, so him treating *Nightmare* of all people as an equal? It immediately gave him a boost socially that he needed. And he has the heart and the knowledge, at this point, to justify Reaper respecting him so much.

And by the time Nightmare is grown (and probably brings his nuclear war-head crafting husband Wizard to events), everyone respects him. He has other royal friends. He has a place there, abd people listen to his insights, abd he helps other kingdoms resolve their systematic issues when he can. And a mix between Scary Dog Privilege (Reaper + Error + Knights) and just Genuineky Being Good At It, makes him accidentally kick off a longer era of peace between a lot of the kingdoms. The kinda thing you hear about when ancient civilizations have that one peaceful era.

I just think it'd be so so ironic if he managed to get through all of this trouble, and have all these odds stacked against him, and actually be able to kinda naturally improve things!!!

One thing they don't tell you about the Senshi tulpa that WILL inevitably manifest in your mind to tell you to eat better is that. Every time I make myself a coffee via kuerig instantly, I can hear him. Lamenting the fact that I have become so accustomed to convenience and ease that even a standard coffee machine has become foreign to me. Some time after mochi becomes a witch and lime has been in her guild, also after he becomes PAINFULLY aware of how he feels about her, theres a moment where he has a conversation with her (casual-like) fishing about how she would feel about getting a boyfriend. as long as hes known her, shes never gone on a date with anyone, no ones asked her out, and shes never mentioned having a crush on anyone to him. so during some conversation about something or another, he asks something along the lines of "Well when you get a boyfriend, he's gonna need to be okay with your weird witchiness I guess haha-- (lowkey interest check)"

and his plan here was IF she answers to some extent that she would like a boyfriend, he would ask her out. but instead she kinda smiles a bit and falls quiet, before responding "If I could have one..."

and when he asks what the hell that even means, she tells him the same thing pom and tiramisu told her when she first became a witch: "This isn't just some happy fun times, willy=nilly side hobby you treat carelessly. Your family legacy and more importantly, your life, are both constantly at risk and you need to always be focused on learning and mastering your magic as it grows. To that end, you don't have time to date and be in a relationship-- it'll only be a distraction to you and a weakness that can be exploited. You'll constantly be split between your magic and your partner. Either you won't be fully committed to your studies to spend time with them, or you won't be fully committed to them because of your studies. It's not a luxury you can afford. Until this is complete and you have full mastery of your magic to the point where you're not constantly in a state where you need to fight for your life, having a boyfriend is advised against."

and lime just kinda stays quiet for a bit, before going "...so no boyfriend until the magic shit is all done..."

and in his head hes thinking yeah, fine, that makes sense. I dont want to be a burden to her or distract her, and I dont want to cause more stress for her because pom is like an asian mom that constantly will remind her about what a bad decision it is. and this ALL hinges on the event that she wants to date him and it doesnt ruin their friendship. so he eventually decides fine. ill hold off on it for now, just be there for her however i can and i'll ask her out when this whole thing is done (and in the meantime, maybe i can gauge how much she likes me if at all, and if not i can try to get her to fall for me)

(worth noting he WANTS to ask her out right before the timeskip happens, something like "Hey we should go get ice cream tomorrow-- you know, to celebrate your magic reaching its full power and all." (where he was gonna ask her out for real), and she smiles and says "Sure!", but pom already told her she was leaving that night, and by the next morning shes gone)

Do you ever read a post where someone is explaining a pokitical thing and from the way they're saying you know with absolute certainty 1) they got their info from a tumblr post and have never actually followed up on how feasible that information actually is to act upon (they may not even have checked if it was CORRECT, but when they do they have clearly not looked into how easy or hard it may be to follow those instructions with a positive outcome), and 2) you know WHICH tumblr post they're quoting because it is basically a copy/paste of it, and 3) it was YOUR goddamn post and the thing they are saying is entirely counter to the point you were making when you said it to the point that you genuinely wonder if they just like. happy transsexual thursday! the hair under my chin is increasingly becoming more fluff than fuzz, my mustache is noticeably darkening, and i haven't had a full period since i restarted T. i feel like my physical transition is really moving forward in a way that it hasn't done since my top surgery a few years ago. it's really exciting, even if injections are a pain.
