Its weird to think how long its gonna be before season 2 of the anime drops. Anyway go read the manga i promise you wont regret it. This ones from senshis lil garden on legs-
Today we'll be making Golem Field Fresh Veggie Lunch!

SO, “what goes in to Golem Field Fresh Veggie Lunch?” YOU MIGHT ASKIts vegetables, vegetable wauter, and not Much else! Knife is there too.
Head of cabbage
4 carrots
3 potatoes
2 onions
2 turnips
Thick slice bacon
Butter
Seasoned rice vinegar

Broth is surprisingly flavorful considering the limited spices and short cooktime
Potatoes are perfect texture for dipping
Cabbage absorbed a lot of the juices!!!
Was more impressed by the salad part of the meal-
The turnips need to be sliced enough to Barely see through, and the carrots julienned thin enough to be almost peels
And its this wonderful vegetable confetti tasteful in its simple pleasure
Rice vinegar of any kind will work, seasoned rice vinegar is just what i had
Salt both parts of the meal generously
In the future i wouldve shredded or cut the cabbage much smaller. We'll talk more on that later. Its also intentionally barebones with spices and oils, me using butter and rice vinegar is even pushing the limits of show accurate because in the show they used plain olive oil.

From idea to execution, this was a very quick recipe. For starters, nothing gets cooked all that long (the water spends more time empty than it does ingredient'ed) and for lasters nothing gets cut all that much. It was tricky finding good sources for stewing a whole cabbage because most recipes call for either shredding or at least chopping smaller. And they do this for a reason. Its unwieldy trying to eat a whole half of cabbage, you never quite know when to start or where to start. Do you bite chunks out? Peel leaves? Spear it with other things? I dont know. I still dont. Im not a huge raw cabbage fan and it wasnt raw, but it wasnt transformed much either. Minimalist. 
This was a feast in the show and i bet that the freshness of the veggies were a factor, considering they were plucked fresh off the living rock guys. I wouldve killed to be able to brown the onions, roast the carrots, or maybe cube the potatoes (though the consistency was perfect for forking and dipping them in butter so! Bonuses.)
Oven roast bacon is a beloved treet for me. It seemed to absorb some of the vegetable broth and vice versa with the broth absorbing the oils from the bacon, which enhanced all the flavors. Maybe in the future itd be nice to try cooking the bacon a bit ahead, and then adding it to the pot while everythings boiling? Also adding a spritz of lemon juice to either/both is always nice!
I give this recipe a solid 7/10 (with 1 being food that makes one physically sick and 10 being food that gives one a lust for life again.) for its simplicity. With modifications like shredding the cabbage and more seasonings, it could become an easy 10/10. hit that like and subscribe or kill me
�� ORIGINAL RESIPPY TEXT BELOW 🐁
Ingredients:
Head of cabbage
4 carrots
3 russet potatoe
2 white onions
2 turnips
10 slices of thick slice bacon
Butter
Seasoned Rice vinegar
Stew Method:
Preheat your oven to 400f. Line a rimmed baking sheet with foil and place a baking rack on top (alternatively you can use a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper and no baking rack. but the baking rack lets the air circulate better and the grease drip off!)
Cook your bacon for about 18 minutes or until crisp. Flip halfway through.
Chop your carrots, peel and slice your potatos in half, and slice your onions into rings.
Get a large pot with a tight fitting lid, add water, salt, your carrots, your potato pieces, and your onions. Cover and heat to a low boil.
Cut the cabbage head in half down the middle. Once the pot is boiling, carefully add your cabbage to the pot and arrange the halves so theyre fully covered.
Cover and cook for about 13 minutes, the cabbage should be slightly crisp but have give to them. 
Remove from heat and laddle contents into a bowl, arrange some of your bacon along the sides so the fat and the broth mix :) salt and pepper to taste. And get a little saucer for butter so you can dip the potato pieces and/or coat the cabbage pieces.
Salad Method:
Peel your carrots and turnips. Cut off the ends of both. Julienne your carrots, and thinly slice your turnips.
Add your carrot greens (or your chosen leaf filler) to a bowl, then add your carrots and turnips.
Coat with seasoned rice vinegar, salt, and pepper. Thoroughly mix and enjoy :)

Jessica Sims knew in her heart she had no right to be at Michael Simmons' mother's house.
She'd driven an hour from Shelby Springs into Greenwood carrying a homemade lemon pound cake in the passenger side of her slate gray Dodge Durango. Her mother's recipe had her SUV smelling like fresh butter, sugar, and citrus.
The closer she got to the neighboring town, the tighter her fingers gripped the steering wheel, worrying if she'd see Terry Richmond again. He'd been on her mind for weeks…haunting her. She lost sleep and her nerves were so bad she had to get a prescription for sleeping pills just to function daily. Jess tried every home remedy from chamomile tea to a glass of warm milk before bed to fight insomnia.
Nothing worked.
Each night she crawled between cool sheets and stared at her bedroom ceiling, wishing things were different. Wishing she'd done things differently. Terry's smoldering sea-green eyes always came into focus, taunting her, preventing much needed rest.
When he walked into her police station to file a robbery complaint, she'd believed her department ran a tight ship. Her training had taught her to be fair but firm in following the law by the books. Chief Sandy Burnne had been her mentor, the one who recruited her straight from the police academy. She planned her law enforcement career while in college, joining the police academy a year after graduation. Her family wasn't too keen on the idea, preferring she use the hard-earned sociology degree to get a regular job and start a family like her older brothers. Jess had other plans. She wanted to be the first Black female police chief in Shelby Springs.
Wielding a badge and a gun allowed her to protect her own community. She had a certain charmed way of speaking to people that let them know not to test her, but that she'd hear them out with their problems whether they were in the wrong or right. Her excellent reputation around those parts gave her access to places that would unnerve the average person. She grew up a tomboy running around hunting with her father and brothers, physically fighting anyone who crossed her. She abhorred a bully, and that caused her problems with some of her colleagues that used their badge to sling their dicks around. Jess didn't go along to get along, but she picked her battles carefully to achieve her long-term goal: to run the department herself one day.
Men tested her all the time, and she did her job ignoring the micro and macro aggressions. Chief Burnne always had her back despite the cracker ways he tried to keep under wraps. He came from an era of uneducated Cajun rednecks filling up the department. Nowadays, there were more cops coming onto the force with education, melanin, and sometimes a vagina. A lot of old-school men didn't like that. Chief Burnne didn't either, but he accepted her and showed Jess respect when she did her job well. She impressed him, and he took her under his wing. She never revealed her goals to have his job in the future. Staying quiet, observant, and efficient worked to her advantage. Chief Burnne opened up more that way, spilling his tips on how to handle the job and people his way.
That is…until Terry Richmond showed up.
Jess misread his intentions from the start.
The second he strode into the office, she sensed a cockiness in him that smoldered beneath the surface. Most Black men in Shelby Springs were older and paunchy from a sedentary lifestyle and good Country Cookin', or lean youngsters with hustler's dreams of getting away from small town life. Terry was built strong and muscular, like a brick shithouse. He carried himself different. Spoke with controlled diction. He was a country boy for sure, but one that didn't work around Shelby Springs. She would've noticed his striking looks at the bars or cookouts broadcasting that he was living mighty fine. Employment was good with the new petrochemical plant ten miles away, and the Black community she lived in thrived with folks making good money, something that hadn't happened in over thirty years. Black folks, especially the men, being flush with cash and a pride about themselves irritated the white community. Negroes were acting a little too uppity lately. Buying new cars and scooping up property. Getting their homes built from scratch. Purchasing big fishing boats to use on Lake Tremblay. Sending their kids to college.
Tensions erupted in bars, public gatherings, and even football games at the local high school whenever white and Black people mingled in the same spaces. That's where Jess worked her magic. If she caught word of trouble brewing, she'd make a phone call to family and friends, giving a warning about police sweeps and rednecks making a commotion. The community grapevine activated and her people acted accordingly to stay far from trouble.
When it was her time to do patrols, Jess stayed visible in the white areas a lot. Her paternal great-granddaddy Adelore Seraphin was a fiery white Cajun who never married her great-grandmother, so she never gave their only child, Jess's granddaddy, his surname. The Sims family were proud Black Cajuns who turned their nose up at white trash. Adelore was considered trash because he wouldn't divorce his wife to marry Zema Sims. There was something about her Paw Paw's wife not giving him a divorce on account of them being Catholic. Granny Zema was an African Methodist and didn't give a damn about what Catholics thought about divorce. Paw Paw left that white lady and built Granny Zema a house to show that he was for real about building a life and family with her. So that's what they did. The white wife kept the marriage title, but Granny Zema kept the man.
It was a scandal, and as far as her Paw Paw was concerned, his only issue was that he didn't want that other woman to get part of his pension. She never did because she died before him, a bitter alcoholic, still screaming about the Black bitch that stole her husband. Technically, Granny Zema didn't steal him. She had him first, but back in their time, they couldn't get married because of miscegenation laws. So they broke up and Paw Paw married the white woman…and lived miserably. He started tipping out and one thing led to another. Jess's granddaddy, Hebert Sims, was born.
Jess's connection to Adelore Seraphin meant she had white Cajun relatives all up and down Shelby Springs. The kin on that side, who knew the family tree had an extra dark branch, tolerated Jess when she made patrols or answered calls of domestic disturbances in that section of town. Nothing on her screamed Seraphin except for her eyes. She had Paw Paw's discerning eyes. So did her daddy. She moved in the world like a Sims, but them pale kinfolk recognized her as the great-granddaughter of that trouble-making Seraphin behind her back. That gave Jess intimate knowledge of how outsiders perceived the proud, flourishing Black community. Trouble.
So when Terry Richmond rode his fine ass into Shelby Springs, he was already a problem before Lann clipped him with the police cruiser.
When he sat down in front of her while she typed in his descriptions of who robbed him, his tone was confident. His demeanor crafty. She was shocked that he recorded their conversation, equally shocked by Chief Burnne's sudden aggression toward him. Lann was an asshole to everyone, overcompensating for some deep-rooted male insecurity. Her first thought was that the Chief might've known something about Terry that she didn't, and she expected to be filled in on the matter. Drug couriers were a thing within small towns, and it wasn't above suspicion that drug runners would use a decoy disguise to pretend they were regular citizens going about their day. She went back and forth in her mind about Terry's reason for carrying so much cash in a backpack on a bike. It looked and sounded suspicious, especially with the drug busts they'd done a few months previously on the bridge during a police chase. She had picked up her own distant white kin at his house, the run-down place full of meth and illegal fentanyl. Opioid use was up. Drug dealers were racking up millions transporting that cash economy and product moving across state lines in Louisiana grew. Chief Burnne's own nephew had died of a drug overdose ten years ago, so anything that had a whiff of drug activity got his hackles up.
That was the hard line story they fed Jess for five years as she accepted civil forfeitures as a necessary part of police work. Portions of white and Black men from Shelby Springs and other bordering towns thrived in the drug trade. Sex trafficking, too. Her department prided itself on breaking the supply chain.
It had all been a lie.
Chief Burnne's lie. His department…his rules.
Jess had been inadvertently complicit.
A rule follower, and a staunch believer in the church of right and wrong, she turned a blind eye to activity that should've raised suspicions. Instead, she quietly looked out for her people on the domestic front, dousing potential flames of racist attacks, especially with all the MAGA crowd flaunting their bigotry and jealousy. Jess was more worried about racist attacks happening. Red necks were openly riding around in trucks carrying lynching ropes with right-wing slogans for bumper stickers. The south was always going to be the south, and America was always going to be America…the United Racists of America.
Jess literally couldn't be bothered if suspicious men passing through town carrying ridiculous amounts of cash got hemmed up. She damn well wouldn't coddle grown ass Black men if they got busted for doing crimes. Her daddy instilled in her a strong bullshit detector for her dealings with that.
"Sweetheart, Black men have to decide for themselves if they want to do right in the world. Black women can't keep the cape on forever, or come running with mops and brooms to clean up their messes. If Black women can get up every day and build up their community in the same terrible conditions as us, then they gotta stop babying these men who tear it down. There's no excuse for a Black man not wanting better for himself or his people. We done come too damn far to be the new terrorists against our own women and children."
Jess listened well. Applied it to Terry.
Something in her gut knew something wasn't right, but she didn't want to put herself out for some stranger who might've been tearing people's lives apart transporting thirty-six thousand dollars in cash. Black people always suffered the most with drug addiction and drug crime because of generational poverty and the predators who took advantage of that. Terry could've been lying to cover his ass for a drug cartel. She didn't know him, didn't know who his people were. He came into her life that day and turned it upside down. The only silver lining she clung to in the end was that she saved his life twice. Once when Officer McGill almost blasted him with a rifle when Terry dragged Marston behind a cruiser to safety. Jess slammed her hand on the weapon. McGill looked shell-shocked by the turn of events. She felt the same. Her boss had shot a fellow officer and made a speech to them all about how he would cover it up. If Chief Burnne harmed a white man that easily, he wouldn't blink twice before taking her out. The second time was when she carried out a PIT maneuver and knocked Burnne away from Terry, providing his last escape. The death of his cousin and the treatment he received in Shelby Springs were irredeemable. All she hoped for was peace in her own mind that she acted on the right side of judgement.
Jess followed her SUV's navigation system and pulled onto a street full of cars parked everywhere. She passed by Rosa Simmons' single family brick house with a large manicured lawn. Mourners milled about the front and the entrance door was wide open. After all the legal and medical inquiries, along with the criminal investigation, it took the Simmons' family three weeks to get Mike's body returned for burial.
She parked two blocks away and smoothed out her most subdued black sheath dress. It was plain and appropriate for the occasion. She carried the pound cake in a round Tupperware container and listened to her kitten heels click-clack on the narrow sidewalk. Her stomach churned, nearing the home.
"Hi..hello…hiya doin'?" she said, passing people she didn't know on the walkway to the house.
Heads nodded at her with sorrowful eyes and stooped body postures. The atmosphere inside the modest home was thick with heartache. Jess contemplated doing a pivot right back outside, but an older woman in her fifties with short-clipped hair sitting on a recliner noticed her.
Mike's mother, Rosa.
"My condolences, Mrs. Simmons," Jess whispered.
She didn't want to bring attention to herself and stepped forward, past a throng of people carrying plates of sliced ham, potato salad, and baked beans.
"Thank you for coming…oh you brought something, how thoughtful."
Rosa stood up.
"I can take that," Rosa said.
"Ma'am, I can put it with the other food."
"Mm-hmm, yes, the dining room table is right back there. Did you go to school with my Michael?"
"No, ma'am. I knew him from somewhere else. I'll put this away."
"Okay, baby. Fix yourself a plate while you're in there."
"Thank you."
Jess's eyes darted away and took in the other mourners. Her heart thumped a triple rhythm. It was best to put the cake on a table and leave. The stress of feeling like a traitor to her own wore on her nerves.
Delicious odors of soul food guided her nose to the dining room. The dining table could've buckled under the weight of so much food. Folks old and young helped themselves to fried chicken, crawfish, turnip greens, gooey macaroni and cheese, and a pot filled with smoked chiltlins.
She pushed a crock pot of brown gravy aside to make room for her cake next to a half-eaten sweet potato pie.
"Who let this woman in here?!"
A light brown woman with soft, shoulder-length curls glared at Jess, her lips curled into an angry snarl. Everyone looked at Jess curiously, wondering what was going on.
"Mama! Who let this dirty cop into our house?"
Rosa rushed into the dining room. Jess held out her hands.
"I just wanted to give my condolences—"
"You're the reason my brother is dead! Who let her in? Who?!" Mike's sister screamed.
The anguish in her voice brought tears to Jess's eyes.
"I'm sorry…everyone, I'm sorry…Mrs. Simmons…"
In her peripheral, Jess noticed Terry coming from a back room wearing a dark suit. She ran away as fast as her kitten heels could carry her. She knocked into people and brushed past other family members on her way out the door.

"Jess!"
Terry's deep baritone called to her, and she pumped her legs faster. Reaching the car, she fumbled for her key fob and unlocked the SUV. She jumped in and Terry banged on her window.
"I'm sorry I came. I didn't mean to upset your family," she said, starting her vehicle.
"Roll down your window."
His commanding eyes stared right through her. She rolled her window down partially. Wiping tears away from her cheeks, she faced her front window, unable to look at him.
"I know it wasn't easy for you to come here."
She shook her head, and a violent sob choked her throat.
"Listen…give me your number. I'd like to speak with you about all of this… at a better time—"
"No…this was a mistake…I'm sorry…I have to go—"
"Fucking bitch!"
Mike's sister threw Jess's cake on the car. The Tupperware container burst open and the pound cake crumbled all over the hood.
"Livia! Stop!"
Terry walked toward his cousin, and she ran from him toward the sidewalk. Other family members had followed them to watch the scene. Jess's stomach sank to the floor of her car.
"You did this to Mike! You goddamn greedy cops sent my brother to die and I fucking hate you! Get outta here, you murdering bitch!"
Livia picked up a heavy rock and threw it at the passenger side window, fracturing the tempered glass. Terry lifted his cousin up by the waist and carried her away. Jess drove off quickly. Cake crumbs fell away from her hood and she screeched her tires with a hasty exit.
She didn't hold back on crying, allowing her tears to wash away the shame and embarrassment.
Back in Shelby Springs, she paced the floors inside her house, drinking whiskey, and pondering her fate. Mike's burial was only the start of her troubles. Next came a lawsuit Terry filed against her department. It would probably finally bankrupt them like the last legal settlement they paid almost did. With the dashcam evidence, plus her, Summer, and Marston's testimony, Terry was sure to win a large payout. Her career was in jeopardy, and their department possibly disbanded.
She downed a half glass of Uncle Nearest whiskey and looked at her black dress. The audacity of her showing up in Greenwood thinking she could dip in and out without consequences.
Jess had to face her part in Terry's life being traumatized forever. Losing her job was a small price to pay for his lifetime of pain.
She leaned her head against her living room window in the dark and watched a swarm of fireflies do a light dance outside. Her grandfather used to say seeing fireflies brought good luck. Jess desperately needed that to be true.
Crawling into bed with her dress still on, Jess stared at her ceiling again, semi-drunk and all cried out. She thought about Terry calling out her name and running after her. He didn't sound mean or angry when he spoke to her briefly. Asking for her number surprised Jess, because…why? What could they talk about that would fix the wide valley between them? Maybe he wanted to yell at her too, get his justified anger off his chest. She deserved it.
Jess curled into the fetal position and thought of Terry. Even in mourning, he looked handsome in his suit. For the first time in weeks, she fell into a deep sleep without having to use medication.

things to do when u realize u feel shitty
so i have alexithymia (emotional blindness or challenges in recognizing, expressing, sourcing, and describing one's emotions) and i often dont realize why, whats causing me to feel that way, or even if its mental or physical shittiness. so here are things i try to do to reset.
so the first step is obviously realizing the feeling at first, is your brain making you feel bad about yourself? do you feel like theres no point in doing things? do you feel stuck? or has there been any drastic change in energy in a short time? these may look different for you, but learning to notice even something as small as do i feel Good or Bad, you dont need to get caught up in what specifically it is.
FIRST and foremost, medications. did you take your meds? vitamins? please do so if you can. if you've missed the time window that you are meant to or cant for another reason, no guilt please, its ok we all forget.
move! change locations. even if its just where you are sitting in bed from one side to the other and sit up if you can. i try to move to my desk chair. sometimes just sitting up can change the way you feel drastically.
this could also mean move as in take a walk around your room, stand up on your phone instead of laying down.
do a Task, or Activity. copy a journal spread from pinterst even if it takes like 3 hours. write some lists, make a bracelet, play a game. focus on something you like. very cliche advice i know but its great to allow yourself to do something you like.
get a snack/water. unfortunately hydration is important even tho its annoying. make it super cold, put some lemon or mint in there if you want. its all about making it a) more fun and b) different sensory experiences. if you are hungry go down a mental list of most to least effort meal and find what you can do (cook from sratch, add stuff to ramen, eat it plain, get a handful of nuts or fruits, etc)
open the curtains/blinds, let the outside in a bit. even if its dark out open them and look around and close again.
face feels gross? do some level of skincare, exfoliate your lips and put on some vasesline, brush and floss your teeth (love floss picks). if you have bangs wash them in the sink.
if weather + mental permits, go outside. even for 2 seconds to look at it
shower=full reset and rebirth. not a bath, a shower. let the water hit you and soak your hair. do as full of a shower as you can. use so much moisturizer (if you can) with a scent you love. sensory goodness is very helpful. this usually works for me to pull me out. often the reason why i feel shitty is actually just me not realizing my hair is dirty, or i need alone time, etc which is acheived by showering.
aligned with that, put on new clothes, either comfortable and lounge clothes that are good sensory, or you need a new fun outfit because you have been wearing the current one for too long and its irritating you in a way you dont notice.
clean something, same as the food go from most to least effort and find out what you can do. organize 1 drawer or your whole house. my go to is usually rearraging my bedside table top and drawer. because for me thats where i keep things like my journal, headphones, letters from friends, body butter, etc its a chance for me to help future me access this little self care station.
make your bed so you have a clean cozy place to lay and sit, unfortunately a made bed is more comfortable
in general, treat yourself like a littel guy, talk to yourself like a toddler even if it feels silly, the part of you that feels bad is basically a toddler throwing a tantrum tbh. silliness is often a precursor to feeling Good. these things feel so so hard but each time you do them despite feeling bad it will get easier i promise you, you will get good at what you practice so practice trying.
if all of these things seem too hard, or you cant do them, the main thing is thats ok too. and if you dont feel 100% better after doing these things, that is also ok. the truth is some days things will be hard and that is your body telling you to relax, or sleep, or that it just wants to have an off day. no day is wasted if you are still here to see it.
(a lot of these tasks can be made easier by doing prep when you are feeling Good, which is part of the reason why i made this list, but i might do another post on prep stuff. )

Took a month break, the summer heat in august murked any remains of my will to do anything.
Gouenji your dad sucks be he truly is an asian parent. Give up your hobbies to focus on your future kind of person, not a favorite of mine. But also, wtf was the plan to send him to Germany of all places?? Can Gouenji even speak german? And if you planned to keep him overseas for further studies, what country was he gonna practice in?? Maybe he can learn over there and come back to take his uni studies in Japan but still huh?? Why not just have him study in Japan to begin with,, granted I’m taking the logistics of a soccer anime and running with it so eh idk.
Okay, the Korea team. I’m so,, surprised that they even did that. Zainichi-Koreans were subject to discrimination and hate even back then (2000s?) so honestly wow, there’s guts in that, I’ll commend it. Nagumo and Suzuno being paired together a lot, and then revealed as being Zainichi actually makes sense and hurts so much more goodness.. It makes sense why they’re orphans I really wish I could see more ex-Aliea banter but oh well
Fudou’s backstory,, gah I’ve gotten attached to this mohawk weasel. Of course if power equals safety in your head then you’re gonna ally with whoever grants you the most power (safety). He probably was desperate by that point when Kageyama threw him away, considering how much he buttered up (?), surely he believed that teaming with Kageyama would be the safest option. He’s hard to work with and is snappy but him and Kidou work really well as observers both on/off field. Also, he’s just a really good player like whoa? His plays are sometimes harsh but at the same time I can’t deny he makes progress.
I think I mentioned it already but I love the tactics and non-hissatsu moves in this season, it’s more explainable to an extent. Like, I can see these moves being put to play in games.
Fully expecting the Brazil team to be the final boss ngl, if they aren't I'll be shocked.
Kageyama needs to find a new hairdresser. The curls I can excuse, it fits. BUT the lemon blonde? Absolutely not. It’s not his color.

been a while since i made one of these and ppl seemed to enjoy them, but here are my cooking endeavors this week:
- made a couple of easy weekday pasta dishes w pesto (finding it tough to go back to the jarred stuff after a streak of making my own). i made 2 different ones w varying things, crumbles of goat cheese or bacon or broccoli or slivers of asparagus or buttered oyster mushrooms or lemon, generally whatever green-ish thing that was looking sad in the fridge
- had a couple of sort of tasty but mostly sad fried fish sandwiches from frozen cod filets i had purchased on accident. used my favorite pickle chips and kewpie mayo and soft white burger buns, pretty much every other element was better than the fish itself which made for a not very delicious dinner but one that got the job done lol
- a plush vanilla layer cake w blackberries swirled into the batter and topped w a vibrant homemade lemon curd and clouds of whipped cream mascarpone frosting and deep purple sugared smashed blackberries and their juices. stained my fingers but was sticky and delicious and summery, would have been great for a tea party if i’d had one to go to
- i made 2 discs of pie dough, one i popped in the freezer for a future cherry pie (my gf’s request) and one for a gruyère, spinach, sausage quiche im making for dinner tonight bc i have an abundance of eggs and a deep love of breakfast food
- i prepped a chicken for roasting tomorrow, it’s now resting uncovered and spatchcocked in my fridge, coated thickly w a rotisserie inspired blend of spices to dry brine. i boiled some waxy yellow potatoes to make it easier to roast them w the chicken tomorrow when i get home from work . simple + easy for my future tired self
- will also be making a cucumber salad to go with the potatoes and chicken bc we have 8 cucumbers (not an exaggeration) to work through and i need a cold crunchy vegetable to eat every day in the warm months or else i shrivel up and die
- planning to use my leftover roast chicken to make either a caesar salad or a caesar salad wrap or something for dinner the day after tomorrow, something easy to make after a long day at work and tbh very little brings me more joy than homemade caesar dressing and cold romaine
- busted out the ice cream maker !! have plans to make both a pineapple sorbet and a toasted coconut vanilla ice cream (sweetened w condensed milk maybe? for the nuttiness?) so then i can swirl the two flavors together in my little bowl :)

Breakfast with Cordelia #37 Lemon Meringue Pie

Sul Sul, Gerbits! Today we are going to be making a very special recipe for me. This recipe kind of scared me. But I wanted to make it, to remember my mom. One of her favorite flavors was lemon. And her favorite pie is a Lemon Meringue pie.

And that is what we are going to be making today. We are going to be following the Betty Crocker recipe. The recipe and description will be in the description down below.

The first thing we are going to do is make the pie crust. You can either have a store-bought one or you can make it yourself. Whichever you choose. I like homemade pie crusts. Rolling the pie crust out helps with anxiety.

Let’s start baking. In a medium-size bowl, you are going to mix your flour and salt.

Cut in the shortening with a pastry blender or a fork. You want to cut the shortening until the mixture looks like a bunch of small peas in the bowl.

Next, you are going to add 1 tablespoon at a time of ice-cold water. The ice-cold water helps with the flakiness that everyone loves on a pie crust. Do this until you can form a ball.

On a floured surface you are going to shape the dough. Wrap it in plastic wrap. And either put it in the refrigerator for about 45 minutes or place it in the freezer for about 20 minutes.

This recipe is a little bit different from other pies. Because you have to bake the pie crust before you bake the pie itself.

So after 20 minutes or so, take your pie crust out of the freezer. On a lightly floured surface, you are going to roll the crust out. You want to roll it out to about 2 inches larger than a 9-inch pie plate.

Place the pie crust into the pie plate. Trim any overhang that you may have. Make sure to prick the bottom of the crust so that it can bake evenly. If you don’t do this then you may have a few bubbles.

Bake the crust for about 13 to 15 minutes or until it is light brown. Cool it on a cooling rack.

Now we are going to start on the pie filling. You need to reduce the oven to 350℉.

In a small-sized bowl, you are going to beat the egg yolks with a fork.

In a saucepan, mix 1 ½ cups of sugar and the cornstarch. Gradually stir in the water. Cook it over medium heat. Stirring Constantly. Until this mixture thickens and boils. Make sure that you boil and stir for 1 minute.

Now we are going to temper the eggs. And to do that you are going to whisk at least half of the hot mixture into the egg yolks. Stir back into the hot mixture in a saucepan.

Return to a boil. And the mixture constantly for 2 minutes. Remove from the heat.

Now we are going to stir in the butter, lemon zest, and lemon juice with a whisk. Cover the saucepan and keep it warm.

Onto the fun part of the pie. There are two types of people in this world. The ones who like making meringue and the ones who are afraid/don’t like making meringue. I would classify myself as being the first. There is just something so fascinating in making a meringue.

To make the meringue you are going to need a medium-sized bowl. Beat your egg whites and cream of tartar. Some meringue recipes have the cream of tartar and others don’t. Just remember to look at the recipe.

You are going to whisk them together with an electric mixer on high until it is foamy.

Now we are going to add the sugar, 1 tablespoon at a time. Make sure that you scrape down the sides of the bowl so that everything is incorporated properly.

Continue beating the egg whites until the peaks are stiff and glossy. Beat in the vanilla.

Generally, fold the egg whites onto the lemon filling.

Bake the pie for about 20 to 25 minutes or until the meringue is browned.

Cool it on a cooling rack and refrigerate it. And enjoy.

I am not much of a lemon fan. But my gosh was this a fun pie to bake. It was time-consuming but I didn’t care I just wanted to make this in remembrance of my mom. Briella Flores Ponder. Love you mom.

this is it, the savannah smiles taste i've been looking for
it tastes so frickin' good i'm going to cry, perfect perfect perfect
i didn't really follow the recipe exactly so my own future reference i'll write what i did
Ingredients 
▢ 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
▢ ½ cup (1 stick) cold salted butter
▢ ½ cup powdered sugar
▢ 1 teaspoon baking vanilla
▢ 1 teaspoon lemon juice
▢ 1 teaspoon lemon extract
▢ 1 teaspoon lemonade drink mix
editing for future reference
Instructions:
Ready all the ingredients and a mixing bowl and lay a cookie sheet with parchment paper on it and a knife to cut the dough with. Set aside the cookie sheet/knife for now.
Add ingredients into mixing bowl but leave butter for last. Important note: butter needs to be cold while adding to mixing bowl. (Warm butter leads to sticky dough that will crumble and can't form a ball.)
After adding the stick of butter, keep kneading until a giant dough ball is formed. You will knead until you lose hope, keep going and then it will form eventually.
Grab a small piece of dough and form a ball, press the ball flat into a cookie shape then cut it in half with the knife. Continue until you're out of dough or the cookie sheet is full. It's best to make the cookies small so they bake all the way through and end up with a nice snap to them.
Preheat the oven to 325 degrees. Chill the dough for 15 min. while waiting for oven to preheat.
Bake for 15 minutes, after the time is up open the oven and flip the cookie sheet around so it cooks more evenly. Bake for another 5-7 minutes.
Wait for cookies to cool enough to solidify and transfer to cookie cooling rack. When it's cooled to around room temperature go ahead and put it in the fridge to cool further. This won't damage the texture, and prevents the powdered sugar from melting from the warmth of the cookie. Remove when cooled (anywhere from 5-10 min.) and coat in powdered sugar.
Taste test, add the rest to cookie jar. Done!
The cookie dough can also be saved for later, it can be put in the fridge (haven't tested freezer yet but probably not necessary), just make sure to cover it with saran wrap or bag it so it doesn't dry out too much. It's also fine to bake half of the stored dough and bake the rest at a later time.

My Kitchen Essentials 
One of my favorite things about having my own apartment has been having my own kitchen. Furnishing the rest of my apartment was an expensive and sort of stressful process. The kitchen however has been a lot more fun because I inherently find kitchen gear more interesting and had enough of the basics to get started without breaking the bank. Because I keep my meals simple and only work with ingredients that I enjoy, I genuinely love cooking for myself. I shared my peanut butter overnight oats and tofu rice bowl recipes in a post about Sunday meal prep a few months ago, but am hoping to share more of my go-to meals in a proper recipe format. 
The core essentials that I brought from home include a 10-inch cast iron pan, a 1.5-quart stainless steel pot, a small wooden cutting board, a pairing knife, a chef's knife, and a pair of scissors. I also brought a basic set of dry measuring cups (¼ cup, ⅓ cup, and ½ cup) and measuring spoons. While I haven’t done any baking here and don’t follow recipes when cooking for myself, the measuring cups have been really useful for cooking various grains. A few items that I brought but haven’t used include a lemon juicer, a garlic press, and a silicone pastry brush. As for non-cooking kitchen basics, I was fortunate enough to be handed down a set of both dishes and silverware and to be gifted a nice wooden salad bowl. I also brought a utensil crock, a mini teapot, two mugs, two glasses, and a few food storage containers from home. 
To further round out my setup, I picked up a sieve (which I use for rinsing rice), half and quarter-rimmed sheet pans (which I currently primarily use for baking tofu and green beans for my rice bowls), a wooden spatula, and a potholder. I love cheese, so a personal essential of mine is a grater. I use it to grate cheddar for my cheesy polenta (which I serve with chicken apple sausage and peppers), pecorino romano for carbonara, and parmesan for Caesar salads among other things. I may eventually add a box grater to my setup, but have thus far been happy with this paddle-style grater that I picked up on my first full day in Washington State. Another item that I bought immediately, but have not personally used is a pair of kitchen tongs. (They did come in handy though for a work picnic). While I don’t regret the purchase per se, this just goes to show the true value of starting with the bare minimum and slowly building out your setup as you discover the limitations through experience. Other kitchen essentials that I picked up but that aren’t directly used for cooking include an airtight container for my rice, a glass food storage container for my lunch, a dish drying mat, sponges, and dish soap. 
It’s not essential, but one fun recent addition to my kitchen is the rice cooker I got for Christmas. The resulting rice is notably better than my stovetop rice, but I will note that it doesn’t exactly save time as the rice is supposed to soak for 30 minutes, cook for 15, and steam for another 15. Another important note is that the measuring cup that comes with the cooker is only about ¾ cup. Thus, when I made my first batch of rice I was a bit thrown off and only had enough rice for three rice bowls instead of my usual four. I made a double batch the second time around which allowed me to create five rice bowls instead. 
While I’m not set up for baking or cooking for a crowd, I truly do have all that I need to cook for myself. Nonetheless, I’m excited to continue building out my kitchen! A few items that I’m considering adding at some point in the future include a kitchen scale, a larger pot, a mixing bowl, a meat thermometer, an immersion blender, and an ice cream maker. We’ll see though because I’m not yet convinced that these items would get regular enough use to justify the cost and space they’d take up in my small kitchen.

i used to live with my leftist vegan parents and have recently been married and moved out! im so exicted to cook and be a wife but the problem is i have never cooked meat and dont know where to start (and i still struggle with being sad/grossed out when i handle meat) i would really love some encouragement, prayers, and maybe recipes! i want to be good to my husband and future children..
Hi! Congratulations and I hope you and your husband will have many happy and blessed years and lots of babies!
I used to be vegan and vegetarian so I get it lol
The thing is I don’t really ever look at recipes for meat. I don’t know how well you can cook, but depending on what kind of vegan household you come from you either cooked everything from scratch or ate very badly, I’m going to assume you’re the from scratch kind of family so I hope you can figure out the amount of seasoning you like.
So steak is intimidating for a lot of people, but it’s very easy. You warm up your pan, use a very heaped tablespoon of butter and let it melt. In the meantime you season your steak ( or even better you season it a few hours before and keep it in the fridge) we like to use salt, pepper and a little garlic powder. If you want to you can add a bunch of fresh rosemary or even fresh peeled garlic to the pan with the steak for some extra flavor. Most people like their steak medium. That takes around 4 minutes on each side. I like mine 5-6 minutes that way there’s only very little pink left. Most people don’t like that though. When you flip over the steak you then use a spoon to get some of that butter from the pan on top of the steak and finish frying it.
Most people like to have steak with any kind of potato, or fried eggs, brussel sprouts or a salad on the side.
Pork chops with or without bone work basically the same way. You just fry it longer until it’s nice and crispy on each side.
Each meat has a certain temperate that it needs to reach to be done, you check with a thermometer. You can google that for each meat you cook and that way know for sure without having to cut into it. I personally don’t use a thermometer and after I think it could be done just cut into it to make sure.
Chicken. Ideally you get chicken that still had the bone it just has more flavor, I’m not really a fan of chicken breast because it tends to be kinda bland and more dry than the rest of the chicken. You can obviously make a whole chicken. This is how I do it.
I make compound butter. Using a stick of butter, adding whichever herbs I have at home. Fres rosemary, sage, anything really. If I’m lazy I just use dried oregano and basil too. It really doesn’t matter it’s just a preference. Cut them, mince some garlic, add some salt and then just mix it together. Then I prep some onion, just peeling it and cutting it into big chunks, save some of the herbs if they were fresh, peel some more garlic and cut some lemon into whatever sized pieces. You dry the chicken with some paper towel, take the butter into your hands and rub it all over the chicken and also lift the skin and stick some underneath. Sometimes the chicken is too wet and the butter will slip off the skin. Then you know you need to make sure it’s more dry. However it I’m lazy I just do the best that I can because it’s still going to taste good even if it’s not covered perfectly. I also after I smeared the butter on the chicken add just a little bit extra salt and pepper, we like it salty. Then stuff the chicken with the prepped garlic, onion, herbs and lemon and put it into a preheated oven at 400f. After 15-20 minutes I lower the temperate to 350 and from there on it should take another hour and maybe 15 minutes if you have a 4lbs chicken. If it’s smaller it will take less time and the other way around. On the side we like to have some garlic bread and any roasted vegetables.
You can do any chicken like that. Chicken thighs are our favorite and I season them with a dry rub of paprika, a small amount of turmeric, pepper, salt, garlic powder, oregano and basil. In the oven they take around 45min at 400f they become very crispy and juicy. Make sure to get them with skin and bone though.
Meatloaf is also very easy. I use 2lbs of ground meat, grass fed though because it tastes better and is better for you. Season with plenty of salt, some pepper, a small amount of paprika and garlic powder. Then I cut around half an onion or a whole onion depending on size into small cubes, sometimes I also use carrots and cut them into little cubes as well. Then I mix everything together using my hands and shape it into a big log loaf thing. We like to add a little ketchup on top sometimes and make mashed potatoes on the side. It takes around an hour or a little less to cook at 350f.
Also something else we love to eat that’s very easy is salad with canned tuna when it has to be really quick. Any kind of salad, any kind of vegetables work. I like cherry tomatoes, chickpeas, olives and romaine lettuce. Tuna in water, open the can and let the water run out, put it on top of your mixed salad and as a dressing I like tahini mixed with lemon, salt and pepper and garlic powder.
You can easily also make tuna salad sandwiches by mixing the drained tuna with enough mayo but not too much so it’s basically only mayo and kinda liquid. You want it still to be pretty solid. Add your seasonings, you can also add sliced onion, pickles, mix it together. Put it between some bread and other lettuce, tomatoes or cucumber doesn’t really matter whatever you prefer. Very easy, quick and delicious.
I prefer to make things in the oven when it comes to dinner. Less active cooking time (I have a toddler), and less dishes. If you want more elaborate meals like ribs, stews or whatever feel free to send another ask this is pretty long already and I don’t want you to feel overwhelmed but still wanted to give you some examples. You weren’t that much of a cake person, but if there was one cake you spoke about often (as often as one gets to the topic of cake with someone who doesn’t eat any sort of human food), then it was lemon cake. So, he decided to bake it for you for your birthday.
Now, whilst you were out cleaning the chicken enclosure and taking care of some other things outside Megatron forgot about, he stood mass displaced and ready to rumble in your kitchen. The utensils were ready (though with one wooden ladle in the bin because he had once again underestimated his strength), and everything needed for the recipe lay neatly on the counter. It reminded him a little of one of those Wes Anderson movies you had forced him to watch, and he both hated and begrudgingly loved how he saw the counting of the utensils and ingredients in the movies’ style in front of his inner optic.
“Alright then”, Megatron said to himself, clapping his hands together.
First, he read in the recipe, one had to preheat the oven.
Done, that was easy. “I can definitely do this”, he said to himself, but then read the second step: Mixing sugar and butter together was still fine, the texture seemed alright to him after the five minutes of mixing as described, but what was that about the eggs?
“Beating the eggs?”, he asked himself. Sure, he liked to beat something up once in a while, even now.
Sometimes you allowed him to punch some old trees and then you used the remains as firewood.
“You get to let out some steam and I have some firewood!”, you had said, “I think that’s a win win”
-But beating eggs? You humans did that whilst baking? And somehow the egg ended up in the bowl?
“Well then”, he eventually concluded. The best way to beat them so they end up where they should, he then thought, was probably to throw the egg in the air and then hit it directly over the bowl. And since his hands were big enough, he threw the two big eggs needed for the recipe in the air and sliced them in one go. A lot of the yolk and egg white ended splattered on his armor, on the floor, on the walls and even on the ceiling, but there seemed to be enough in the bowl for it to be satisfactory. “The eggshells probably also give it enough sustenance” he said to himself and smiled. Beating those eggs was quite satisfactory, he hoped he could do more of that in the future. He was sure you would be delighted by his cake.
Two hours later
This was not the kind of delight Megatron imagined you having for his cake.
“What are you laughing at?!”, he almost screamed, seeing the tears of laughter streaming over your face, “I beat those eggs like nothing has ever been beaten up before”, but that only made you laugh harder.
“He beat the eggs up, he beat the freaking eggs up oh my god”, you wheezed, lying on the floor, “I can’t breathe!”

Chapter One
It was three days since Marianne, for all others Butters, appeared in the castle with a fainted magician from Winning Sun in her arms.
The whole court had lost its marble.
A survivor of practically a genocide?
Unbelievable!
Only the Wizard King seemed like Winterfest had come earlier for him this year.
The fairest in the land of Zaron, her Royal Highness, Princess Kenny McCormick hadn’t liked Cartman’s look one bit.
It was an open secret how the fatass greedily collected all Magical Wisdom he could get in his fat grabby hands.
All for a way to completely destroy the Elven Kingdom and mostly their King in one devastating hit.
One of the famed female magicians from Winning Sun was what missing from his "collection".   
It sicked Princess Kenny.
The poor girl surely searched for shelter from the Purist of the True Light and ended up here, where Cartman would squeeze her like a lemon for her magical wisdom, till he got tired and practically threw her out of the kingdom.
She couldn’t let this happen.
One because it was terrible and second…she needed the magician for her own plans.
She didn’t claim to be better than Cartman, but her reasons are better!
Kupa Keep belongs truly to her and her sister Karen.
The princess would be damned if she didn’t get the throne back from the fatass. 
Her heeled boots made a clink and clank sound as made her way to the castle infirmary.
Her sister, Princess Karen, was gifted with Healing Powers, the infirmary her realm. She took care of their magician guest.
Kenny visit any day in the hope that she could talk first with the stranger. She needed to have her on her side and not on Cartman’s.
Good thing that the fatass was so lazy to check up on the magician himself. He was so sure that the magician would work for him, share her wisdom in exchange for a safe place, that he didn’t see the danger coming from Kenny herself.
He was always understatement her.
This would be his downfall.
Princess Kenny open the door to the infirmary and stepped quietly in. Karen demanded absolute silence in her infirmary. Loud noises were not good for her healing patients.
“Here for you.”, she heard her sister talk. “I hope you like apples.”
“Can I not have some boar stew? I’m dying over her!”, answered an unknown female voice.
Ah, so their guest finally woke up. Good, this was good.
Karen laughed, while Kenny made her way over to them.
“You are out of danger. Also, boar stew is too much for your stomach right now. You need to eat light things.”
From the magician came grumbling, but Kenny heard how she bit into the crunchy apple.
Finally, she reached the bed where the magician lay. Well, the curtains before it.
“Karen.”, she called sweetly. “I’m hearing right and our guest woke up?”

Three days.
She was three days out of it.
Even when she had learned the higher magic to become the future court magician N.K. never had lost concession for so long.
It really had been a hard trip for her.
When she finally woke up, sweet Princess Karen was there, to help her sit up and gave her a glass of water.
The young Princess was nice and welcoming to her.
As if she was doing this job for years she had checked on N.K. and used her own Healing Magic to help her recover faster.
It was a nice feeling meeting such a pure and good soul after all that had happened.
Also, it was a good sign that the Grand Wizard had taken her in, letting her get healed by Princess Karen.
Maybe she really had a chance to begin her anew.
Currently, she and the princess were discussing what she should eat, Karen won with her apples, as she heard this beautiful voice.
It was hard to tell if it was male or female. Only the silhouette showed a feminine form.
“That’s my sibling Princess Kenny.”, whisper Karen to her before she turned to the one before the curtain. “Kenny, always nice to see you. Did you want to check on N.K.?”
“N.K.? That’s our noble magician’s name?”
The talked-to magician sat upright as Karen open the curtain to let her sister in.
“Novella-Karin.”, she gave her full name. “N.K. was my nickname since I can remember.”
Princess Kenny was a vision! Golden hair in two braids, the most beautiful blue eyes in a pretty face with soft-looking lips. She wore a pretty dress that hugged her in all the right places. But N.K. noted the lack of breasts.
Genderfluid?
Most likely.
Karen had even called her, her sibling not her sister.
“A pretty name for a pretty woman.”, complimented Princess Kenny and N.K. felt a bit shy.
Normal she would have flirted back…but after all that happened in her homeland…N.K. was so unsure about a lot of things now.
Seemed like both the Princesses noted how she clambered up, since they gave her soft smiles.
“It’s all right N.K.”, told Karen, putting a hand on her shoulder. “You are here under friends. Kupa Keep welcomed you with open arms.”
Oh…this was good to hear.
Princess Kenny nodded in agreement.
“We want you to feel safe with us. You can rest and heal in peace here.”
N.K. had to fight her tears. She didn’t deserve such kindness. She was nothing but a coward.
However, she nodded and snuggled back up in her bed.
“Come, Kenny, let’s leave N.K. alone. She still has to require a lot of energy.”
The siblings stepped away from her bed to talk in hushed tones with each other at Karen’s desk.
Maybe she should have listened in, but N.K. was already tired again.
So she fell asleep.

“Kenny what are you planning!”, hissed Karen at her sibling. She loved Kenny, yet she also know that they had their own agenda going on. “N.K. is still too fragile to be part of your plans!”
“I noted that. I will let her be for the moment. But Karen you know as well as I that fatass can not get his hands on her!”
“She is my patient, who survive a genocide and made her way all alone to Zaron. I don’t want her to be part of your plans!”
“Our plans!”
“I’m happy Kenny, when will you understand.”
Her sibling huffed and put their hands on their hips.
“Kupa Keep is ours, Karen. It’s our right to rule. And not Cartman, who only became king, because our parents were so high and stupid to trust the Wicked Witch Liane!”
“Keep it down!”, Karen whisper-shouted and looked worried around. “You know how these walls have ears.”
Kenny signed and nodded.
“Even more reason to end this.”
“You sound like Kevin and you know what happened to him! I can’t lose you too.”
“I promise you, it won’t happen to me.”, promised Kenny taking her hands and squeezing them. “Our brother was as courageous as he was dumb. I will not fight Cartman openly.”
Now it was Karen who signed, taking her hands away from her sibling and sat down on her desk.
“I know, I can’t stop you. But please be careful, for our all sakes.”
Again Kenny promised and made her way out of the infirmary. When Karen sat down at her desk it meant it was time to leave.
On the floor outside the infirmary, she meets Marianne.
“Butters.”, how Kenny hated to call their friend her deadname, but you couldn’t be careful enough in Kupa Keep. “How it’s going?”
“Oh I’m good, your highness. The Wizard King wants to talk to you.”

Marianne stands on the door before the throne room, guarding it alongside Knight Tolkien.
It was unlike someone would manage to bypass the wall, then all the Royal Guards, till finally reaching the throne room, but better be safe than sorry.
The paladin let her eyes wander and remembered again how she missed the old Kupa Keep.
Before Eric became king, the walls were decorated with beautiful portraits of the past rulers, now everyone showed him and only him.
It showed how narcissistic their king was.
Of course she never would it say out loud, but thinking it was safe.
Her thoughts lead her to her beloved Stan.
She wonder what he was doing now.
Stan had talked freely about his duties in the court of Larnion, so Marianne could image that he was currently with his king, maybe helping him decide in how to better the living of the elven kind.
Sometimes she wonder if she really should do it.
Leave all this behind and live with Stan in the Elven Kingdom.
Her love always assured her, that they would take her in with open arms and since he was best friends with the High Elf King no one would give her trouble.
But her parents needed her.
They weren’t the best. She often had cried because of them, yet they were still her parents.
Then Kenny and Karen needed her.
She know about Kenny secret plans to dethrone Eric. Marianne had sworve to help her friend achive this.
Kupa Keep was once the kingdom of Kenny’s and Karen’s family, but the late king and queen had a bad addiction for drugs.
It was so bad that they couldn’t even rule anymore.
Then one day the witch Liane with her young son Eric appaered and promised to help the couple.
Liane told that she was specialty in healing addictions of anykind and for a while all somehad to be gettig bettter.
Till the royal couple died and had appionted Liane as regent, till Kevin, Kenny’s and Karen’s older brother, was of age.
Sadly nothing had gone as it should have gone.
Marianne signs and then lets out a shriek as the door to the throne room opens. Princess Kenny is storming out of it.
Oh hamburgers.
Eric made her angry.
What did he told her?

Not far away from Zaron in the kingdom of Larnion Stan Marshwalker can only look at his king and super best friend Kyle in disbelief.
“You didn’t agree.”, the ranger hoped. “Tell me you didn’t agree!”
The High Elf King just made a face.
So Stan had his answer.
“You are stupid, I hope you realiz that!”
“Hey, I’m doing this for the kingdom! For our people, Stan.”
“Our people will think you lost your marbles.”
Kyle waved this away, sitting down on his throne.
“They will understand.”
“Yeah, that you are been played. Fatass invatation is a trap. Don’t tell me you don’t see it.”
For that Kyle sends him an angry look.
“I know them well that Wizard Fatass will probably try to attack Larnion while we are in Zaron. But Stan if the tiny chance exists we can end this war between our two realms, then I must take it.”
“By going to their Midsummer Festival and being all buddy-buddy with Cartman? Kyle are you out of your mind?!”
“I will not go alone. Don’t worry.”, reassured his king. “I haven’t completely lost it, as you said. I will be taking you and Tammy with me.”
Stan could only deadpan at him.
“Us three, all around us enemy. Yeah, that’s for sure not a trap.”
“Queen Bebe of the Amazons and her second in command Wendy will be there too.”, told Kyle. “Also Queen Henrietta of the Dark Clearing and her three advisories. We will have friends there.”
Okay, this was surprising.
“What is fatass planning to invite all his enemies to his Midsummer Festival?”
“I don’t know, but see how we can’t back down.”
The ranger let out only a sign.
Well, at least he would be seeing his bunny sooner than normal.

N.K. had woken up from her nap and Princess Karen had been so nice to give her a book to read to battle her boredom.
The princess still didn’t see her fit enough to walk around, so she had to stay in bed.
The book she read was interesting.
It talked about a legend as old as all the realms and kingdoms together.
The Stick of Truth.
The most powerful wand ever created.
As a magician, she had studied the mythos of the Stick of Truth, but that the first who wield it had been on Orc was new information to her.
That’s when the door to the infirmary swung open loudly, making her nearly jump out of her bed and Princess Karen sat upright on her desk.
“Excuse me?!”, the young Princess yelled. “This is an absolute silence zone. My patients don’t need to be disturbed by loud rumors.”
“This is how you talk to your king?”, answered her the male who stepped in.
He was a wizard and…well really fat. You couldn’t even call him chubby.
A shiver run down N.K.’s back as the wizard fixed her with his cold dead eyes.
The magic aura around him… was full of malice. This was someone who probably used forbidden magic.
That was not a good sign.
Princess Karen stepped away from her desk and curtsy before the wizard.
“My king I’m sorry. I didn’t know it was you.”, she nearly whimpered.
All right, N.K. already didn’t like this fatass. Anyone who made shake sweet Princess Karen like this was an asshole in her eyes.
“Whatever, bitch.”
Yep, he was on her shit list now.
“I’m here for the other bitch.”
Where was her wand?!
“I’m the Grand Wizard Eric Cartman. I assume right you want to live here?”
He didn’t even let her answer.
“Well, bitch, if that is so, you better start getting well soon and put your magic to good use for the kingdom. Understand? Or I will kick you out. I’m sure the Inquisition is just waiting to get you in their hands.”
The brunette girl had a really strong feeling that it was probably the most stupid idea to come to Zaron!

What if ponyboy was purple and was a 𝓯𝓻𝓮𝓪𝓴𝔂 janitor in Harvard
His eyes rolled to the back of his head in the middle of the crowded hallway. He had a vision, just like a prophesy. Sure, it sounds crazy, but he believes it's true. "I see a vision," He whispered to no one in particular. "A celebration throughout Tulsa that has to do with me!"
All of a sudden, his face hit the ground, and he broke his left index finger trying to catch himself. Ponyhorse moaned in pain, but was stepped on by a glittery red heeled 6 inch doc Martin.
"Stfu nerd," an annoyed voice snarled.
He looked up at the voice. It was some old guy in a lab coat. "Doc?" He muttered, stunned.
"YES, it is me." The oldie said.
Hamilhorse was starstruck. "Last time I saw you was when we were doing 'new money' during bows of Back To The Future on Broadway!" He glanced at the boot holding him down. "Wtf are you wearing tho," ponyboy asked while looking like 🤢 emoji (but purple).
The old guy bit his lip and bared his shoulder at him, shaking his fuzzy handcuffs. "These are my Kinky Boots."
Ponyboy froze and grabbed a mop, standing atop a desk. "Hey!" He shouted in the empty classroom. "That's my line, BAKAAAA!" The entire class chuckled and gave a standing ovation as he sang "ohwoaahowwaahh." He cleared his throat as he lotioned his hands with lemon peanut butter flavored lotion. "And now for my piece, Claire de lune." He fixed his fingers over the black and white porcelain keys, "I put my whole Claude Debussy into this."
A cough interrupted his piece. "That piece," He paused, "Is crap." He crossed his arms, shaking his head in disapproval. "You're a slacker Mccurtis. A whole family of slackers." Steam started exiting ALL his holes and he pulled out a can of spinach. He ate the spinach and muscles grew instantly. He pulled out a switchblade, pointing the tip at Hamilhorse. "I thought I told you greaser, this was not your parts of town," he bit out as he teasingly passed a football around with his dropout buddies. "Cut that hair, cut that hair. Cut that greasy greaser's hair!"
Ponyboy's bottom half instinctively turned into the torso and legs of a horse. "No not the hair! My finals are tomorrow!!"
They laughed at him "HAHAHAH ur so stupid!" They kicked up in the eye. Blue and red lights shone in the distance and faint sirens could be heard. "Shartballs! We GYATT to get outa here gang!"
"Phew," ponyboy sighed out in relief. He picked his mop up and started sweeping. Suddenly, a goat trotted up to him.
"We're admitting you into Harvard for multiculturalism." Is baah'd.
"GREAT!" He jumped. "Do you happen to know where Warner Hunington III is?"
"No 🫠" it said as it melted away in the rain.
Ponyboy tried to enter Harvard he next day but was denied entry bcs they HATE the purple rave.
"You better shape up!" He told the guards. "Cause I need a man! Who can keep me satisfied!" He sang as he shrugged off his leather jacket.
The guards gave him a weird look, "sir, this is a wendy's."
Ponyboy left and went to waffle house to cry in the bathroom. Js a thought 😁🎀
